Hey everybody, watch this off-duty cop lose control of a situation and pull his firearm on a bunch of teenagers who didn't want to give up their backpack. >> we have video of a sheriff's deputy in South Carolina holding a group of teenagers at and threatening to shoot them. This is one of those ones where we warn you it is disturbing. The video shows an off-duty deputy approaching a group of teens yelling and pointing his He orders them then to get on the ground. Hey, sir, can you call the cops, please? Hey, call the police. I am the police. Hey, what are you doing? Wow, he says I am the police. Well, we want a reasonable police officer here. Somebody call 911 because you're a little bit unhinged. You're waving your around. I will say he's got his finger off the trigger. You can tell when he's holding the his finger is on the slide of the He's trained properly to keep his finger off the trigger, but good grief, he's not trained properly on the display of this. There was no reason for him to pull this. He wasn't under any kind of force a situation. He wasn't being met with force. These kids don't have and they're basically pushing back on this cop saying he doesn't have the right to do what he's doing and this cop is just, in my opinion, he's a little bit unhinged. Let's finish watching what happens. Police then takes a backpack which prompts one of the teens to react. After a scuffle the deputy pulls his gun once again pointing it at the teens and threatening to shoot them. One of these teenagers hit him in the face. So, they're they're clearly under arrest at this point for assault on an officer. You're not entitled to do that. You're not entitled to resist even an unlawful arrest and I'm not saying this is an unlawful arrest. I don't have enough context, but I can say the teenager didn't have the right to push him and didn't have the right to smack him in the face and that's that's what the teenager did. But, in return for that, this cop shouldn't have pulled his either. So, I think both parties are wrong here. Comment below tell me what you think.
