Hey everybody, let's check out this crazy video. You might be surprised to learn that I support the police side of this interaction. What do you say? >> I'm going to step out. Do not put your hands on top of me. All right? I'm tired of you guys lies here. What's happening here is my man is that these guys have been running a scam with a phone in this town with the same with the U-Haul store. >> Okay, so they called us. >> Okay, they called, but they see me every single day. Even the men in the rental car place see me every day. >> You've gone into that store every day? >> Every day they see me passing your store. That's all I have to say. >> company has reported the car stolen. >> It can't be stolen if I'm in front of them every single day, my man, and I'm here every day inside of all of your police. Whatever it takes, I'm not getting no handcuffs put on top of me. >> All right, just put your hands behind your back. >> No, I'm not letting you touch me. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. I swear to god. If you chase me, >> On the ground. On the ground. Hands behind your back. Hands behind your back now. Hands behind your back. >> I hate to watch somebody cry and get in the fetal position and cry. Just comply on the street. When a police officer says, "Put your hands behind your back." just put your hands behind your back. If they're going to detain you, they're going to detain you. And if you push back, you're going to end up crying in the fetal position. When I was a police officer, there were occasions where you kind of had to give the citizen a little bit extra time to come to grips with what was really happening. You got to be patient. You can't really just jump to a conclusion. Try to work it out with your words. [music] I can't really argue against what the cops did here because it does happen quickly. When somebody pulls away and you're in the process of taking them into custody, you got two choices. You can back off and let them pull away and then you lose a little bit of control or you can jump on them and take control. And so that's really what happens here. The cops jump on him. They take control. They basically force him into compliance and put his hands behind his back for him. They had the right to do it. He absolutely should have complied here. As always on this channel, it's about what you think. You be the judge. Did these officers overreact? Did they act too fast? Should they have given him a little more time? Could they have coddled him a little bit, maybe? Or did they do things appropriately? I gave you a hint there. You can probably figure that one out.
