Most everybody's going to get this one wrong, but if you're smarter than a lawyer, answer this bar question. A Tennessee police officer pulls somebody over for speeding, but starts asking DUI questions. The driver, however, has shown no signs of impairment. Is this allowed? A, yeah, it's always allowed. B, no, it violates the Constitution. C, yes, but prolonged detention requires reasonable suspicion. Or D, only if the driver consents. Now, I'm not going to lie, two of these answers could be correct. One of them is a little more correct. So, if you get this one right, pat yourself on the back cuz you could be smarter than a lawyer.
