How you doing? I'm officer hold with the Brownwood Police Department and uh we're here about learning the grass here. >> Sensing the grass is less than creating a charcoal fire. >> Do you have your ID on you? >> No, I'm not going to I'm not going to give you my ID. I don't >> Okay, sir. Turn your hand and put your behind your back for arson. >> Arson. Oh, good god. You got to be kidding me. Y'all are some of the dumbest. >> I don't answer questions, sir. >> Ease up, sir. >> Walk with me. Watch your mouth, sir. >> No, I don't need to watch my mouth. You're a [ __ ] >> Yeah. Well, what are you? You can talk to your attorney. >> I don't need to talk to my attorney. I'm going to queue over, son. What does that mean exactly? >> You're an idiot. >> Okay. Hey, Sarge. So, he burned his front yard. Yeah. I mean, that's I was reading that. I'm familiar with the statute. I'm comfortable with that. Serge, hang on just a second and I'm going to send you a picture. Okay. I'll send you a couple pictures. Hang on. So, I took him for arson. >> It's not ours. >> It's not arson. Not. >> So, now if it was the burn over here on his property, that would be arson, but on his property. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's not arson. >> Okay. >> [music] >> You don't want to give off your ID. They're going to try their hardest to put a charge on you. What's good, YouTube? It's BB Cass back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video is from the Brownwood Police Department over here in Texas where you had these two Brownwood Police officers, Officer Holder and Officer Goodman, come to this guy's house because they got a call saying that there was a grass fire. And when they came to this guy's house, he was trying to tell these officers that he was sitting the grass. But you having these officers be so hungry for his ID, they didn't even hear anything that he was saying. And as soon as he said he wasn't giving up his ID, you would see what Officer Holder said, "Well, I'm going to take you to jail for arson." And the whole time he was trying to tell this officer, "This is his own property. It's not arson." But this officer wasn't trying to hear that. Once he heard he wasn't getting that ID, all he was hearing was, "I'm just going to arrest him." You will also see where he called his supervisor and I believe that his supervisor was even trying to tell him that I don't believe that it's arson. And you will see when he was talking to the fire chief, even the fire chief was telling him that it's not arson. But you having this officer have his head so far up his all he could think about was just trying to get his ID and you will see where he looked very much foolish through this whole interaction. I'm going to watch you get my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. Let's get into the video. >> Hey sir, how you doing? I'm officer hold of the Brownwood Police Department and uh we're here about the uh burning the grass here. >> Um burning the grass. Well, let's talk about that. >> Let's talk about that. >> Okay. Singing the grass is less than creating a damn I guess somebody called you. Singing the grass. Sun singing the grass is less than uh creating a charcoal fire in my backyard. I'm trying to This is a ham radio tower authorized by the Federal Communications Commission. I'm trying to kill the uh the grass in the damn yard. Okay. There's no grass fire. No one's burning leaves. >> Okay, sir. So, uh, do you have your ID on you? >> I No, I'm not going to I'm not going to give you my ID. I don't back into arson. >> Arson. Arson. Oh, good god. You got to be kidding me. Y'all are some of the dumbest I've ever seen. >> Well, you're welcome to your opinion, sir, but it doesn't really matter to me. >> Arson. >> If you knew the statute, you would understand what it is. >> Step this way, sir. Hey, >> I don't answer questions, sir. >> Ease up. Ease up, sir. >> Walk with me. >> Ease up. >> Watch your mouth, sir. >> No, I don't need to watch my mouth. You're a mother. >> Yeah. What are you, dumb mother? >> What are you? >> I'm I'm I'm a straight guy. >> Are you? >> You're a dumb mother. >> Yeah, you are. >> No, I'm a what? You got your body cam going? >> What do you think? >> You got Well, I hope you do. Cuz >> Cuz what? Cuz what, Carson? I'm burning what? I'm burning some I'm burning seeds. I don't have anything on. >> All right. Don't be grabbing anything. >> No. And you wanted my ID and you decided you would arrest me cuz I didn't give you And you're arrested me for what? >> I've already explained the sheriff to you, sir. It's for arson. Okay. >> Arson. Explain to me what arson is. >> You can talk to your attorney and they can get all that. You don't need to talk to my attorney. I'm going to queue over, son. >> What does that mean exactly? Go ahead and elaborate that for me. >> No, I'm going to have your job. >> You could just tell this officer trying his hardest to put more charges on this guy. >> Really? >> You're you're Yes, you're an idiot. >> Okay. >> You're an idiot. >> You're welcome to your opinion. Everybody's got one. >> Yeah, you're an idiot. You're dumb. >> Hey, keep talking. >> So is good. But I know you were in >> So you're arresting me for arson. >> Arson. >> I haven't got his ID yet. I'll give that to you momentarily. >> Make you hold. >> Yeah. You you let me hear what you did. You said give me your ID. I said I'm not going to give it to you. >> All right. You arrested me because I wouldn't give you your ID. But I only have to >> I only have 636 brown. I've got 27 when you're ready. >> Just ease up. Ease up. I'm 70 years old. >> Okay. I'm not being rough with you. We're going this way. Walk with me. >> Good. Lock your car. He asked me for Your hands are cold. They feel good. >> It's a little chilly today. >> Yeah. >> So, he asked me for my ID. There's no reasonable ar if you go ahead and step inside for me. Okay. >> Well, you're going to have to help me cuz I'm >> Yes, sir. I can help you. I won't let you fall. Take a step up if you can. Okay. I won't let you fall. >> No, I can't take a step up. >> There you go. >> Yeah. >> These things are too damn tight. Okay, we'll get him taken care of as soon as we get you in the car. Okay. >> Well, I'm trying to get into the car. I'm not resisting. >> I know. >> He want my ID and he arrested me because I wouldn't give him his my ID. You I only have to ID if I'm under arrest. Can you just grab my ass and help me? >> You Okay, I'll tell you what. You lift right here. You ready? All right. Go ahead. >> There you go. Yeah. You got it. You got it. Well, you you need you need to you need to loosen up these cuffs. >> Okay. When we get you in here, I can help you with the cuffs. Okay. >> Yeah, cuz they're [ __ ] >> All right. Are you in there pretty good? Turn this way and let me let me take a look at the cuffs here real quick. Okay. >> Yeah, they're [ __ ] tight. >> So, that's two fingers right there. >> Well, whatever you got going. >> And that's two fingers right there. Okay. They're not too tight, so I'm going to leave them how they are. >> I'm I'm guilty of arson. Oh, god. I'm You need anything for me? >> N just pictures of this. Um, you might check with Goodman and him. Somebody needs to stay with him and watch him. >> Um, >> see if uh his house is locked or if he wants us to lock it or what. >> Uh, he said he didn't want us going near. So, we don't want to lock the door up or anything. >> That's right. window. >> Windows up. Windows down. Yes, sir. Windows very down. >> Can you get uh the fire chief over here? >> They're they're doing their business. We got ours to do now. So, >> all right, guys. Thank you. >> Anything else? >> No, we're good. >> Nothing. Um you can do a supplement if you want. Just a short little thing. We showed up and this is what transpired. Hey, Serge. So, he burned his front yard. Um, had a propane tank and a wagon with the blower torch on it and uh he did all that and you know, we're in a burn ban. Then the statute is ignition of fire within the city limits in the dwelling if it continues and burning vegetation. Yeah. I mean, that's reading that. I'm familiar with the statue, so I'm I'm comfortable with that because we have a uh I don't know 30 by 30 patch that's burned in front of the yard, you know, and he said he came out of his house and he said, "I'm burning grass. I burned this, you know, to put the seeds out. I'm talking about his radio tower here that he's got." So I'm like, "Okay, you admitted to burning grass in the city, you know, there's your bro torch and everything that constitutes arson there." Hey, Sarge. Hang on just a second and I'm going to send you a picture. Okay. >> This officer trying a little hard to convince his supervisor that this is a law for us. >> I'll send you a couple pictures. Hang on. So, I've got him in custody right now. I'm talking with uh my people. Are you there? >> Okay. I just sent those pictures. Okay. Bye. So burning vegetation in the city with propane legal burn. >> So I took them for arson. >> It's not arson. >> It's not arson. What is that? Legal burn. >> It's just legal burn. Uh usually they tell them put it out. >> Okay. >> So what class is that? >> 25. I don't know. >> Well, the penal code says burning vegetation within the city limits. whether the fire continue, you know, after the point of ignition or not. >> So now, if it was to burn over here on his property, that would be arson, >> but on his >> not on his own property. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's not arson. >> Okay. >> Yeah. It's basically it's just an illegal burn in the city limits. >> If he had burns, then then that's when they get >> ahead. for 123. >> Hey, um I hear talking chief. He says because it's on some property, it's not going to constitute arson, but it will still be an illegal burn. >> Um yeah, we'll we'll sight him and release him. >> Okay. Well, I tell you what, you want to give him a verbal warning and just release him? Yeah. We'll just we'll just we'll just get him out of here and cut him loose. I don't see the point in that either. >> This officer was so worried about his feelings so much that he forgot that he just made an unlawful arrest. >> All right. Bye. Bye. All right, Miss Kirk, do you feel step out? >> Well, yeah, if I could [ __ ] step to help me. I'm almost seven. >> All right. >> Yeah, it's not [ __ ] awesome. Y'all just go off on something. You want to hear a funny story? >> Not really. >> You don't want to hear a funny story? >> Not particularly. No. >> Yeah. No, because you're a dad. That's >> You're welcome to your opinion, sir. >> Yeah, I am. You're >> Here you go, sir. Here's your wallet. >> Thank you. >> You're released. >> Good. How about >> you were in the shootout? >> Yes, sir. >> Damn good shootout. >> Thank God she showed up cuz this is not arson. But when you ask me when he asked me for my ID when I've committed no crime, I don't have to ID myself because I'm not under arrest under in Texas. >> Okay. >> And he just jerk me around cuz I wouldn't give him my ID. It's not arson. I'm just trying to Oh, yeah. He's running off like a Okay. All I'm doing is trying to kill the grass seeds so I can lay my ham radio wires down for an FCC. I'm a licensed FCC operator for emergency communications. >> Okay. >> Well, Mr. Cookie, we're we're going to get out of here and let let you back to your business, okay? If there's anything we can do for you, give us a call. Okay. Somebody wants to give me a citation for this is nothing more than a [ __ ] damn. Look, this is nothing more than a uh turning my grill on. Charcoal grill on the back. >> Okay, they're not exactly the same thing, but I'll let you talk to to Chief Orton about that. Okay, if you need us for anything, give us a call. Okay, >> thank you, sir. Another example of officers turn into straight cryb babies when they don't get what they want. Because as soon as he said that he wasn't giving up his ID, you having this officer just said, "All right, I'm just going to take you to jail for arson." >> Do you have your ID on you? >> I No, I'm not going to I'm not going to give you my ID. I don't >> Okay, sir. Turn your hand behind your back for arson. >> Watch your mouth, sir. >> No, I don't need watch my mouth. >> Like I said, act like a straight cry, baby. And just by him talking to his sergeant on the phone, he was trying his hardest to convince his sergeant that he made a lawful arrest >> his house and he said, "I'm burning grass. I burned this." "Hey, Serge, hang on just a second and I'm going to send you a picture." Okay. >> He really thought sending those pictures was going to save him. Once his fire chief told him that it wasn't arson, you having this officer doing what he should have just did in the beginning, just give him a verbal warning. >> So, I I took him for arson. >> It's not arson. >> It's not arson, but it's a legal burn. I tell you what, you want to give him a verbal warning and just release him. After this officer got out of his feelings, he started thinking with some common sense. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. How you feel about this Brownwood police officer for trying to arrest this guy for arson when he was trying to tell this officer that this is his own property. You can't just take him for arson just because you don't get his ID. And that's really what it was. This officer was upset that he couldn't get his ID. So he just said he was going to take him for arson. And then even after he talked to the fire chief, you having him call back his sergeant say, "I'll just release him. Just give him a verbal warning." Which he really should have did in the first place. But you having him be so much in his feelings that he was willing to take this old guy to jail for literally no reason at all. And it just goes to show, man, these officers really put their feelings before the law. And this is just another case of that. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think by the comment section. Make sure to like, subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day. [music] >> [music]
