hey guys uh the video i have for you
today is going to be an interesting one
it's going to be a traffic stop and it's
a traffic stop involving a car
that was identified as someone who had
just fired off a gun
a citizen called 9-1-1 from a gas
station they
described a vehicle they gave the
vehicle's license plate
they described the occupants of the car
including what they were wearing
and identified which person in the
vehicle was
allegedly firing off a weapon officers
responded to the gas station and talked
to the caller
the car ended up coming back to that
gas station a short time later and a k-9
officer on patrol
spotted the vehicle asked for the
license plate and then identified that
as the suspect vehicle from firing off a
gun earlier
so that k9 officer was trying to follow
the vehicle
and get other cars in the area when it
ended up pulling into a parking spot so
things got kind of rushed a little bit
um officers
multiple officers responded to the scene
and uh
approached the vehicle the interesting
that happened thing
interesting thing that happened next was
uh the
occupants of the vehicle claimed they
didn't understand why they were being
pulled over
which might have been true and uh began
acting out
this created a reaction from the
officers and they had to handle the
situation
one thing that was interesting about
this situation was
the occupant of the vehicle who caused
the most trouble for the officers
was doing the most yelling and screaming
turned out to have
a felony warrant for her arrest
after not cooperating with the officers
she was detained
um eventually placed under arrest due to
her actions
they tried to put her into a cruiser
at which point she started kicking at
the car and kicking at the officers so
she had to be removed from the cruiser
and then she was put in the back of a
wagon
which is just a place that it's easier
for us to transport people who are not
cooperating
in the back of a wagon rather than the
back of a cruiser so she was placed back
there
and it took them a little bit of time
they were able to figure out her
identity
and figure out that she had warrants
pretty much
everybody else in the vehicle was let go
there was no firearm found
and it's unsure how the
witness came up with that information
but
this is just one of those interesting
stops where if you were standing on the
sidewalk and watching this happen
it might look like the police were
overstepping
or maybe not acting appropriately but if
you know the entire incident
and all the information that the
officers had it becomes
a very different story and it also shows
kind of some of the things that officers
are dealing with and they're thinking
about multiple scenarios
when they approach a vehicle and if
somebody's
acting out it makes the job of the
police much more difficult
candidate to 90 80. sorry k98 who you're
