No, he's not under arrest. You need to let him go. Tell him you're sorry. Let him be on his way. This officer in Maryland when you do something wrong they give you a ticket. You need to step away from me. >> [music] [music] >> What's good, YouTube? It's BB Cast back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video is from the Starkville Police Department over there in Mississippi, where you have this Starkville police officer, Officer Eaves, approach this guy to ask him how old he was. And when he told this officer that he wasn't answering no questions, you have an Officer Eaves say, "Well, if you're under 21, you need to leave." So, Officer Eaves sees him again, and then he decides to detain him to get his ID. And when this officer ends up finding out that he is 21, he takes him to jail anyway for disobeying a law enforcement officer. Just for his sergeant to find out what happened, and he told him to release him because this whole arrest was wrongful. Really took him to jail because he got his feelings hurt because he wasn't answering his questions. And it just goes to show that these officers really do police their feelings. I'm going to watch you give my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get it to the video. Officer, how old are you? Why? Why? Cuz I want to know how old you are. You're out here. How old are you? Stop. Am I free to go? Come over here, please. Am I free to go? No, you're not. Come over here. Hey! Let me go! >> That's the reason I'm asking you, okay? All right. There's no way here unless you're over 21 that's going to let you in, okay? All right. So, that's why I'm asking you how old you are. Why should I tell you though? All right. Everybody else live here? I mean, there's nothing It's nothing. All right. If you're under 21, okay. You're not in trouble. I'm just trying to find out how old you are. I don't want to answer. So, what? Okay. Well, go ahead and leave the district if you're under 21. Okay. Who's y'all here? Told to leave. I was told to leave. Said uh he ain't giving me his ID. Yeah, that's what I told him. The light tower is not working. That's okay. Recording. Okay. Pepper spray. This one? No, on the back. On the back of it? Back. Turn it around. Like that. All right. Anything Anything else besides that pepper spray in there? >> I don't answer questions. You don't answer questions? Well, if you uh pull that up, it'll bring up the card. Now, close the back. Close the back. You got to close it. Now, pull that up. Pull the tab? Pull it like up. Pull the other side. Yeah. Okay. Hit the other side. You're from Maryland? No. Or Mississippi? It's on the other side. It's the first one on the other side. >> is this? You don't have to question it. It's the first one on the other side, though. You said you told me leave the area if I'm under 21, right? I told you to leave. No, you said leave the area if you're under 21. >> you refuse to give information. All right, so you from Maryland or Mississippi? Which one? Figure it out. Okay. Run them both. Yeah, run them both. So, I'm assuming I'm assuming he's from Maryland, but he just got his license here. Yeah. >> Cuz this one is It says under 21 until 5 26 25. So, May 26. Which one puts him under age? And which one puts him over age? Yeah, they both got the same age on them. Okay. So, is he over 21 or under 21? He is 2004, so he It doesn't surprise me it's going to take these officers a little bit of time to figure out his age. >> Yeah, they both got the same age on them. Okay. So, is he over 21 or under 21? He is 2004, so he I think 05 is what you got to be. You think he just hit 21 in May. Yeah. Where is my Wi-Fi? Can I connect to your phone? No. Mhm. Run with him on. All right. I think LITS is still down. No, I'm trying to do RMS. It won't let me log on at all on that. All right, so let's go and get him out of here. Where's Blake? Blake. Search him. Yeah, like you can go ahead and search him. Swap the cuffs out. Out Y'all can swap the cuffs out. Uh he's going for failure to obey. Get vehicle. 10-15 you know 10-60. He's going with you. All right, put failure to obey. Failure to obey. He's already contacted the different one. No, yeah. So he he gave me his ID earlier and I just age checked cuz he looked young. He said he doesn't have to give it to me. I told him to go ahead and leave. He's 21. Uh so I told him he needed to leave the district and then here he comes strolling back through again. All right, so he's just going to get that, uh, photo bag. Photo what? Photo bag. Leave the district. >> Oh. >> [clears throat] >> And now he doesn't answer questions. Yeah, he's I don't know if he's in the warrant already, right? Huh? He's in the warrant already. Yeah. Oh. Do we have any other history that you Can you pull up any other history on him in RMS? >> No, I don't have internet yet. Still? Okay. Yeah, my this one I couldn't get it to log on. Uh I thought I could get it to log on through regular He's not arrested for this yet, so we're really not going to forward. Okay. Yeah. Don't think that's gold, but All right. Yeah, just, uh, he should be in RMS. Yeah. He can bring stuff. Be sure to search him. We know he has pepper spray in his man purse. His what? His man purse. All right. So, when you apply the cuffs, go ahead and take that off of him. Okay. Uh, and, uh, check his pockets, check his waistband, check all that. Yes. All right. Pepper spray. Austin. Take the pepper spray. Yeah, I'll take that. You can leave it in the man purse. Just, uh Take the whole thing from Take Take the whole thing from him. You want to take both of these? Yeah. Did he have a water in the car? Huh? Did he have a water in the car in there? Yeah, empty bottle. Empty bottle? Yeah. Yes. Yeah, he had an empty bottle. So, he can have a bottle of water in the Bottle of water in the Huh? Yeah, empty bottle. Yeah. And after this officer released him on his felony charge, this guy went to his supervisor and this is what his supervisor had to say. >> know anything about that. And then all of the sudden, I was walking on this side and Officer Eves, he started walking towards me. I tried to go around, but he started getting in my way, so I was like, "Oh, he wants to talk to me." So, he said, "Uh, how old are you?" And I was like, "No, I don't want to answer." And he said he grabbed me and he pulled me over to the side, and he said, "Come over here with me." And so, I went with them. And he said, uh I forgot exactly what he said, but he said something about my age again, and he asked he said something like, uh "Can I see your ID?" or "Let me see your ID." And I don't I don't feel like I had to at that moment, so I said, "No." Well, I didn't say no, but I just asked them, uh "Do I have to answer these questions?" and stuff like that. And he said, he said something again about my age, and then he said, I remember his exact words was, "If you're under 21, leave the district." And I said, "Okay." And I kept walking. And I just walked kept walking around for a couple minutes, and then I came back around to that bar area, and I By that time, I saw him again, but he didn't say anything, and I kept walking again. And I was walking around some more, and I got back over there, and then he was still over there, and he just grabbed me like grabbed me like this, and he said, "Come over here, man." And then he just placed me in handcuffs, and he said, "You're under arrest right now." And then he took me over to the detainment area, you know, they have the little detainment area set up, and that's where Officer Jarvis and the other officers were. And I was just like they searched me and everything. I didn't agree to that. I told them I don't I don't want to be searched and stuff. And uh they they got my ID. I told them what my ID was, so I cuz I remember he said, "If you're If you're under 21, leave." So, I know I'm 21, so I don't have to leave. So, I was like, "Okay, when he sees my ID, he's going to let me go, obviously." Yeah. when he seen my ID, well, I uh on the way over there, I was telling them like, "What are you going to do when you find out I'm 21?" He said, "You're still going to be under arrest for disobeying the order." Even though the order the exact order was, "Leave if you're under 21." Yeah. He never said you have to leave the area regardless. >> I see. >> Yeah. That was a very specific order. Okay. >> So, uh they checked my ID and everything and they put me in the they put me in the car and all that. And they told me I was under arrest. That's when they told me I was under arrest and I was going to the PD. And then I don't know why but they let me out. Like I said, I think it was because they were trying to cover their ass cuz they realized they messed up. What they did was illegal. But uh I guess you'll have to be the judge of that, you know. Well, I'll tell you this from from my interaction with it. Um I'm the supervisor highest supervisor tonight. Okay. I talked to on the phone. They said, "Hey, this is what we got." And I said, [music] "I see what you're saying but you don't have good legal standing." Okay. I said, "You detain him. All right. But he's not under arrest. You need to let him go. Tell him you're sorry and let him be on his way." So, that's why you're here. So, everything you're telling me I kind of know but I like to hear both sides of it. Um you're telling me pretty verbatim of what they told me. Yeah, I remember cuz it was like I said it was a very specific order. It was Yeah, and I understand the confusion on that but and I I don't know I mean we deal with a lot of stuff down there and it could be stressful. >> Oh, yeah, I understand. >> But at the end of the day, I mean um That's That's what I tried to explain to you kind of when you came in. You were detained pending the investigation. They were looking into it. Um I'm the senior officer. I make the final call when it anything comes into question. And I said, "No, we don't have it." And when he saw Officer Eaves again, he was trying to get apology out of him but obviously he wasn't going to say he was sorry. >> Oh, man, it's customary when you do something wrong to give an apology. >> away from me. It's customary when you do something wrong to give an apology. You need to step away from me. Oh, man. They can't even say sorry when their own supervisor tells them to say sorry because let's not forget from the beginning this officer did say if you're under 21 you need to leave. >> want to answer. So what? >> Okay, well go ahead and leave the district if you're under 21. Okay. But my guess is he must have early signs of amnesia because for some reason he doesn't remember saying that. You said you told me leave the area if I'm under 21, right? Told you to leave. No, you said leave the area if you're under 21. >> you refuse to give information. Refusing to give information that he does not have to give you. But I guess when you have a cop that's just hungry to put people in jail he just going to find something to take them to jail for. >> So I told him he needed to leave the district. And here he comes strolling back through again. Uh he's just going to get that uh cited by. I said you detain him. All right, he's not under arrest. You need to let him go. Tell him you're sorry. Let him be on his way. I'm wrong to give him a citation. You need to step away from me. It's customary when you do something wrong to give an apology. You need to step away from me. Officers hate being wrong so bad that they're not even going to say sorry even when their supervisor tells them to say that they're sorry. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. How do you feel about this Starkville police officer for detaining this guy because he wouldn't tell him his age. You having this guy tell this officer he's not answering no questions. And you having him say if you're under 21 you need to leave. He saw him again decides to detain him. And when he found out that he was 21 this officer wants to switch up his lyrics and say oh no I told him to leave and he didn't leave so he disobeyed an order. when his supervisor got wind of it he knew that this was wrong and he was not trying to get sued and even say that he was sorry. And when this guy saw him again this officer wants to say leave me alone. You need to get away from me. You need to get away from me. Like their ego is so bad that they cannot handle being wrong. And this is just a pure example of that. That's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day. >> [music] [music] >> Mhm.
