Listen, this is not a traffic stop. >> It is actually a traffic stop. >> Answer this door or we're going to kick the door in. >> Y'all getting in trouble for kicking my door in. >> This is the city police department. Pay your taxes. >> I need your ID. >> Is that a request? >> Do I need to? >> You can look from the road. Let's un-violate my rights. >> What's good, YouTube? It's BB Gang, back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video, it's from the South Bend Police Department over there in Indiana. Well, you have these South Bend police officers detain this guy because they said that he matched the description. You having this guy that was just walking from his house going to the gas station to get a few stuff. These officers stopped him. They said, "Hey, were you in the fight somewhere? Uh were you in an altercation with somebody?" This guy's telling them that he has nothing to do with whatever they're talking about. He just left his house and these officers weren't believing him. But you already know they needed to get his ID to determine if he was in that fight or not. I'm going to watch it and give my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get into the video. >> What's going on, sir? >> I'm walking down the street. >> Okay. And what happened then? We're over here I'm talking about. A couple blocks over. >> I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. >> anything? >> I have no idea what you're talking about. >> Nothing? >> Nothing. >> Okay, we got a call that somebody matching your right. >> have no idea. Okay. >> Okay. >> Do you Do you have your ID on you, man? >> Why? >> Because someone described you as being involved >> Do you have proof that I committed a crime? >> reasonable suspicion suspicion to stop you and investigate whether a crime occurred. So, that's why I'm asking for your identification. >> Can I hear the the description? >> Yeah. Male, like 30s to 40s, gray T-shirt, dark pants. >> Gray T-shirt? I'm wearing a white T-shirt. >> Well, it looked gray from here that night, so >> Uh-huh. >> you I need to see your license. >> I don't have a license and you don't need to see it. >> name? >> You don't need my name, either. >> No, you don't. >> So, here's how this is going to go. You're going to need to identify yourself because I told you I have reasonable suspicion to investigate you for a crime. If you don't identify yourself, you can be arrested. >> I have the Fourth Amendment right to walk around without being accosted by uniformed bat by a bunch of thugs in with in uniforms with guns. >> way he ran away? >> I didn't see anybody. Is your name Patrick? >> No. >> Okay. Why are you so upset? >> Because I'm being My Fourth Amendment right to have to have freedom of travel is being impeded right now by uniform thugs. >> It's absolutely not. I told you the reason why I'm here. I have a perfectly lawful reason to stop you and identify you, and you're refusing to identify yourself. >> I don't need to identify myself. I didn't commit a crime. >> Yes, you do. We're investigating someone of your description a block less than a block away. >> Less than a block away. What would my ID tell you? How would that solve your issue? >> So, we know who we're talking to. >> Why do you need to know who he's talking to? How would that solve the crime? >> All right, dude. Here's the thing. We're not going to debate this with you, man. You need to identify yourself. >> Why? >> I explained it to you. >> So, what Do you have any proof that it was me? >> Here's the deal, man. >> Here's the deal. In other words, no, we don't have any proof that you did anything wrong. >> Here's the deal, man. >> Call your supervisor. >> No, it's not. >> What's your name? >> Why? >> things up. >> My name is Brandon. >> Brandon what? >> Why? >> We've already explained it to you. There was an altercation that happened over there. >> Why How would finding my name out >> Listen. >> You were described as being the suspect involved. Yes, and it happened a block away, and now we're trying to figure out what happened. >> Call your supervisor, please. >> If we can use your cooperation, then we'll get you out of here, okay? But we need to know what's going on, and we need you to identify yourself. Does that make sense? >> Call your supervisor. Call your supervisor. >> is on another call right now, and I'll get him to come over here as soon as he can. >> Okay, then you're saying you're going to waste my time. >> Uh you're wasting our time, too. All right? So, the sooner we can figure out what's going on >> My rights have been violated by Bend police officers before. >> I get that, and we're not trying to violate your rights, but do you understand where we're coming from? A fight just happened right over there, and you're matching the same description as him, and we need to figure out what happened. >> And how many other people could match that description? >> walking around over there. >> I just left my house. >> Where is your house at? >> Why? It's in this I live right there, on that corner apartment. That's where I live. >> You live on that corner? >> In that house right there with the bar going up by the door. >> Okay. >> I don't know I >> What are you doing right now? >> What? >> What are you up to now? >> I'm walking to 7-Eleven. >> Okay. And so, you just came from that house? >> Of course I did. >> Do you have any idea on you that I can take a look at? >> Why? >> I already explained it to you. I don't need to go over that >> You're You're going to You're going to run my number, and I'm going to have that on my on my on on my >> And you know what it's going to say? It's going to say that >> to say that I Uh-huh. Uh-huh. >> When we run your name, it doesn't show up on any kind of record that you've ever been arrested. >> I >> So, do we have a reason to arrest you for a criminal matter? >> How do I know that you won't use my information to get back at me for something? >> What would we get back at you for? >> I have no idea. You guys are cops. Cops come up with all kinds of crazy things. >> Right now, if you give us your ID and you and we run it and your name isn't your name's unrelated, we don't know, then we don't have anything on you. We can let you go. But we didn't can't figure anything of that out until you can tell >> I need your supervisor. >> My supervisor is on another call right now. >> Well, then we can wait for your supervisor to get off that call and come over here. >> What do you need my supervisor for? How's that going >> To find out what the hell's going on. >> it to you. I've explained it to you three times. The other officer has explained it to you multiple times as well. I don't Is there something that you are not understanding about the situation? >> Yeah, why you're trying to violate my fourth amendment right to have freedom of movement. >> I explained that to you. We have reasonable suspicion that a crime was committed over here. The person identified the suspect as literally exactly what you were wearing. >> No, you said gray shirt. I'm wearing a white tee. >> Well, it looks gray from here with the light on it, okay? >> Yeah, and in the light of this, white. So, it's not the same. >> of this. We are lawfully stopping you and asking you to identify yourself and you're refusing, okay? That is called interfering. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> That's a crime. It's called interfering. >> You have to have a crime for me, you know, I You have to have proof that I committed a crime. >> We don't have to have proof. We have to have reasonable suspicion to make you identify yourself and that's what we have and that's what we're trying to get you to do and you're not cooperating with us. >> I was walking down the street >> with us about what's going on instead of >> my own business and you're stopping me. You're wasting my time. >> we just explained this to you about four times now >> Yeah. >> and I'm not going to argue with you about it anymore, okay? So, you know why we're stopping you. The reason we're still stopping you is because you're not cooperating with our investigation. >> Even though he's not obligated to help you with your investigation, though. >> We're still we're stopping you is because you're not cooperating with our investigation. And that's why we're still here talking to you. Does that make sense? So, I don't know how we can make that any more clear. We're not violating your rights. We're investigating a crime that occurred. And if you have no part in that crime, then you giving us your name and us getting you out of here should seem like that would be the easiest thing to do here, right? If you have nothing to do with what just happened over there, then why would you be so uncooperative with us right now? >> the description. >> You don't You don't know that. >> He said gray shirt. I have a white shirt. >> Male, pretty much 40s, age, pants, shirt. >> Like I said, if you have nothing to do with what happened over there, then I feel like you'd be a little bit more cooperative in working with us a little bit more. Because this isn't somebody who's innocent has nothing to do with what >> This is somebody who just got done watching a bunch of cop videos of people getting their rights violated all across this goddamn country. I don't trust police officers. My life was saved by a police officer, but ever since then, police officers have been [ __ ] with my time. >> How? >> Like this. >> How was it [ __ ] >> I was walking down Dean Swift, minding my own business a couple years ago. Two uniform police officers walked up to me, forcibly searched me, and then ran my ID, and said, "Oh, we're looking for a black guy." And then sent me on my way. I said, "Well, thank you very much for wasting my time." >> Well, I'm sorry that happened. That wasn't either of us. We weren't there. >> Uh-huh. >> And that's not what's happening right now. >> No, but police officers did that to me. That means I don't trust any police officers, cuz all of you guys are the same. >> That's kind of crazy. >> That's a real negative outlook. >> We're not treating you like every guy that we we talked to. >> You guys have qualified immunity. You guys walk around with guns. You guys have the ability, and you can kill somebody and then make up whatever story to get away with it. It happens all across this country. >> Do you have any property over in that parking lot over there? >> Which parking lot? >> The parking lot that we're talking about right by Best Care. >> Best Care? I don't even know what Best Care is. I've never heard of that. >> All right. Stay out of trouble. You're free to go. >> Thank you for violating my rights. >> These officers really just be expecting you to give up your ID even though this officer had no proof that this guy did anything wrong. >> have proof that I committed a crime? >> Reasonable suspicion to suspicion to stop you and investigate whether a crime occurred. >> Meanwhile, the person that they're looking for has all the time to get away. >> So, you're going to waste my time. >> You're wasting our time, too. So, the sooner we can figure out what >> My rights have been violated by Ben police officers before. >> Just take it 20 steps outside of your house and these officers be feeling it for your ID. And then they did all of that just to tell this guy, all right, never mind. Have a good day. >> Care? I don't even know what Best Care is. I've never heard of that. >> All right. Stay out of trouble. You're free to go. >> They be getting upset when people don't give up that ID that easily. But, that's my take on it, though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. How you feel about these South Bend police officers for detaining this guy literally for no reason at all. They saying that he matched the description of somebody, they're trying to get his ID. He's telling these officers that he just left out of his house. He's not giving up his name. You having these officers say, "Oh, look, you're just wasting our time." Meanwhile, the person that they're looking for is already probably gone by now. And then when this guy kept telling her he had nothing to do with it, I guess these officers decided to finally believe him and leave him alone because he literally had no reason to ID to them. And they knew that he didn't have to ID to them, but getting his ID will help them determine if he committed the crime or not. That's what I think I'm going to throw. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day. >> [music] [music] [music]
