What's the reason for the stop? >> Traveling on the access road. Came past all the the ranch easements. Looks like if you're not going one of the local ranches, it appears like they're trying to circuit an inspection of the checkpoint. So, we just have to investigate it. It's a public road, but like I said, guys, I'm looking to see if anybody else is with you, man. >> I'm a US citizen. So, what's the reason for that stop? >> We're over there on the access road watching traffic. >> Okay. Is Is this >> We observed your vehicle over. >> Do you have any Do you have anything anybody in the trunk? >> What does that even matter, man? Not even my wife is asking me your personal questions. I mean, oh, you believe I must smuggler or >> we have to investigate. >> I don't answer questions. >> I just feel more comfortable if I knew if there was anybody hiding in your trunk, >> right? I don't answer questions. >> That's fine. I'm going to call K9. [music] [music] What's good, YouTube? It's BB back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video, this guy got stopped by these Border Patrol agents. You will see in this video, this guy was just driving, minding his own business, and these officers said, "Oh, you know, you went around the checkpoint, so you must be smuggling people." And you will see what these officers started asking him questions, saying if he could open up the trunk, and when he said no, you having this officer look confused, like he looked like he never got told no before. So much so that they end up calling the K9. And you will see where this guy just made these officers look very dumb. And especially when they were doing nothing but just trying to ask some fishing questions. I'm going to watch and give my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get into the video. Hey, you know, partner, >> you going Kaden? >> Yeah, Mr. Kaden. >> How's it going, man? >> Doing good. How about yourself? >> Doing all right. What's the reason for the stop? >> Uh, it's cuz uh you're traveling on the access road. We came past all the the ranch easements. So, >> Right. Right. Yeah. To me, it looks like if you're not going one of the local ranches, then it appears like you're trying to circumvent an inspection at the checkpoint. So, we just have to investigate it. >> So, it's a public road, but like >> Right. Right. Yeah. Yeah. >> If you're not going into the local ranches, >> right? I'm not going to the ranches. >> That's fine. Hey, do you have Can you roll the window down in the back? I can't see through the tent. >> No, that's fine. >> What's that? >> That's fine. >> Then I can't see through the tent. >> Yeah. Yes, I'm looking to see if anybody else is with you, man. >> So, what's the reason for the stop? >> I just told you. >> I'm I'm a US citizen. So, what's the reason for the stop? I already told you the reason was. >> Okay. So, >> because we're over there on the access road watching traffic. Is Is this We observed your vehicle. >> Is this over? >> I'm sorry. >> Is this over? >> Where you from, partner? >> Is this over? Did I Did I say I'm a US citizen already? >> Yeah, you just did. Yeah. Do you have any Do you have anything anybody in the trunk or anything in the trunk? >> Did I say I'm a US citizen? >> Do you have anything in the trunk? >> Do you see anybody else here? >> Do Do people hide in trunks? >> I don't know. >> Do people hide in your trunks? Not mine, but I've seen it plenty of times. >> Okay. >> So, do you have anything in there? >> What does What does that even matter, man? >> If you have anything in the trunk, why would it matter? >> Yeah. >> Um, >> not even my wife is asking me your personal questions. I mean, that's [ __ ] personal. Is your body cam activated? >> Yeah, it's activ. >> Yeah. When these officers be fishing, they be asking more questions than your wife. >> Okay. >> Is that okay with you? >> If it's not, it's not okay. >> No, it's activated. All right. >> No, the reason why I'm asking is people smuggle in trunks all the time, man. We find people in trunks. >> Oh, you believe I'm a smuggler or >> I don't know. That's We have to investigate. You know, that's the reason why I'm here on the stop is because I'm investigating to see, you know, what you're doing here on the access. >> Um, >> are those uh trainees or what? >> I'm sorry. >> Are those traineees? >> They're they're border patrol agents. >> Trainee. >> They're border patrol agents. >> Trainees. >> They're border patrol agents. >> Why can't you answer a simple question? >> Because he's a border patrol agent. Can you advise him that blocking my camera is a constitutional violation? >> Blocking your camera. How's he blocking your camera >> with the light? >> It's directly at my camera in the vehicle. >> It's It's directly at the light. >> Hey, do you have anything in the front? >> I don't answer questions. >> I'm sorry. >> I don't answer questions. >> All right, just hold on just one second for me. >> Why am I detanged? All right, partner. I would just feel more comfortable if I knew if there was anybody hiding in your trunk, man. >> All right, I want to answer questions. >> That's fine. I'm going to call K9 up here. Going to run it. If the the dog's 19 and >> Rodriguez versus us, you cannot detain me beyond the scope of your your >> That's within the scope of my duties, man. >> of your detainment. What? Why did you detain me for? >> I already explained why I detained you. >> All right. That's irrelevant to my to what? Whatever I have in my trunk. >> That's irrelevant to whatever I have in my trunk. >> How is that relevant? >> It's Did you pull me over because you suspect I have somebody in the trunk? >> I'm a border patrol agent. >> I understand. >> I'm an immigration official. Right. >> Right. So, immigration, right? >> An immigration stop. Right. >> Did I inform you I'm a US citizen? >> You did. >> Do you have reason to believe I'm not a >> United States citizen smuggle? >> You believe? Do you think that I've ever caught anybody that's a United States citizen? >> I'm asking questions. >> Okay. >> You have reason you have reason to believe I am smuggly. >> You have reason to believe I am not >> I am not a US citizen. >> I have reason to believe that you are not from one of these local ranches. >> I am not. >> Okay. I've never said I I've never claimed I am. >> If I see someone driving on the access road at this time of night, you're not from one of the local ranches. You're not oil field. >> I am not. I never claim I am. >> Okay. And then to me it looks like you're circumventing inspection at the checkpoint. >> I did circumvent the inspection. Yes. >> So I'm investigating that. >> All right. I am a US citizen. You're an immigration officer. >> That's right. And I've caught plenty of people before that smuggle people in their trunk. >> Okay. You have any facts to believe or any reason legitimate reason to believe that I have somebody in the trunk? >> Sir, tell you what. >> Rodriguez. Rodriguez versus United States. You're detaining me beyond the scope of whatever you claim initially. >> No, I'm not, sir. >> You are. You actually are. >> I told you I would feel more comfortable. >> You have a supervisor, Katon? >> Uh, I do have a supervisor. >> Can you call your supervisor? >> Yeah. >> You're You're violating my constitutional right. >> You are? >> That's fine. >> That is That is my legal opinion. >> I'm sorry. >> That is my legal opinion. And you actually are? >> That's your legal opinion? >> Yes, sir. >> Well, are you a judge? >> A judge? >> No. You said it's your legal opinion? >> It is my legal opinion. >> Okay. Well, I'll call a supervisor right now. >> All right. Are you a rookie? >> I'm sorry. >> Are you a rookie? I'm sorry. >> Are you a rookie officer? >> A rookie? >> Yeah. No, I'm not a rookie, sir. >> You're not? >> I'm not a rookie. >> All right. >> Why? What would the relevance of that be anyways? >> Uh, you're incompetent. Your neck of knowledge. >> I'm not incompetent, sir. That's fine. >> Can you call your super this this Why you're extending this detainment? >> Okay, that's fine. >> Why is it extended? Why is it extended? Why are you extended? >> More comfortable to know if there's anybody in your trunk right now. >> How is that relevant? >> Because I'm an immigration uh >> immigration. Immigration. In other words, he's not used to getting told no. So, he has to call out the canine. >> Immigration. Immigration. >> And so, if there's anybody hiding in your trunk, I need to perform an immigration inspection. >> Immigration. You believe >> anybody in the vehicle? >> You seebody right now or they're hidden in your trunk? >> You see anybody else >> in your back seat? No. Is there anybody in the trunk? >> Why? Why is that relevant? >> Because people smoke. >> Okay. What if I tell you no? >> That's fine. And I told you I'm going to run a K9. And if the K9's 19, he says he doesn't detect any hidden people or narcotics in your trunk, then you'll be free to go. >> Is your body cam activated? >> It is activated. >> You have reason to believe there is somebody in my trunk? >> I do. >> Really? What facts do you have to believe that? >> I already told you why I >> What facts do you have? >> I already told >> What facts do you have to believe that? >> We're just going in a goofy loop right now, man. >> No, no, no. I mean, you have to in order for you to continue this detainment, you have to have some facts. >> Do you want me to call my supervisor? You're still detaining me? >> I am. You want me to call? You want me to call my super? >> And you are violating clear established constitutional rights, which is Rodriguez Rodriguez versus United States. >> Sir, you want me to call my supervisor? >> Rodriguez versus United States. >> You want me to call my supervisor or not? >> You don't care >> that I call my supervisor? >> No, you don't care that you're Was that your supervisor? I know I'm not violating your rights, but No, that's probably the K9. You want me to call the supervisor still? >> Yes. Okay, I'll be I'll be right back. you. >> All right, sir. K9 did it search. Um, you're free to go unless you want to wait for the supervisor. >> Are you staying here? >> I'm sorry. >> Are you remaining here? >> Am I going to remain here after you leave? >> No, when when the supervisor gets here. >> Yeah, I'll stay here. >> Okay. You want to wait for a supervisor still? Okay, that's fine. You're free to go though at any time. >> Wait, do you just want to wait here or >> No, no, no. >> I mean, at this point, you're free to go. >> Yeah. No, I understand that. I just needed a supervisor just to >> I mean, >> something. >> Who would you file a complaint uh with with a supervisor or >> Well, you can go through the supervisor or you can directly go to the station. >> Okay. Yeah, I mean you're welcome to do whatever you want. Um, >> is that the uh the south border patrol south? >> Loretta North. >> North uh McFerson 1119 McFerson. >> McFersonen. >> Uh, are those traineees, >> sir? I do not know everybody at the station. It's like a lot of us. >> No, I understand. >> I I wouldn't be able to tell you now who's who, to be honest. >> Right. Right. Right. >> Um, you're [snorts] [laughter] too. upset because they messed up. >> Yeah. >> So, what makes you upset, man? Honestly, like you don't have to answer me. >> The the uh No, I mean, I understand the the detainment. Um you all enforce immigration laws. Um I immediately told him I was a US citizen and he had no reason to believe I'm not. [laughter] Um and he never said he suspected I was not. Um he continued that detainment beyond the scope of of what what you do which is [clears throat] >> here right. >> No no no I understand I understand. >> Were you on on the >> Yeah. I was just traveling. Yeah. Yeah. >> I mean it's the common uh it's not very common for people to go through there. You know what I mean? Especially when the checkpoint's open. >> Yeah. >> So >> yeah. I mean I have get like two or three years that I don't I don't use the checkpoint. >> I mean it's >> Yeah. I don't >> It's just a >> Yeah, I don't I don't use it. I don't >> even the time of the day, >> right? Right. >> You get a lot of people smuggling through Texas >> at this time of the day, right? >> I understand. >> But like I said, doesn't mean you're smuggling. Make sure. >> Yeah. >> And a lot a lot of people take it personal, but it's job. You know what I mean? >> No. And I don't I don't take things personal. I mean, they have to do the things the right way. You know, you you cannot you cannot pull everyone over. >> Of course. Um, even though it's a access road, you you can't pull everyone over that travels on the access road. >> I don't know what was what was the reason for the stop because I wasn't there, right? >> They just asked me to get here with my dogs. >> No, I understand. I understand. >> I conducted a fur air sniff. I didn't touch your vehicle at all. So, >> I understand. No, I understand. >> I didn't get any results with my K9. So, you're free to go, right? But >> no, I understand. I understand. >> You're welcome to do your uh your complaint or whatever you want to do. >> Supervisor is here. >> Thank you, man. Wow. Yeah. I >> see. No, no, no. I understand. I mean, you they called you here and >> Yeah. It's >> Yeah. >> Unfortunately, man, like honestly, even when I go through the checkpoint, even though I work there, I need to get checked. >> Yeah. No, >> and I mean, >> and I I don't have a problem with that. I don't have a problem with identifying myself with uh with getting inspected. Uh I mean once you extend the scope of your stop uh continue the that detainment that's >> Was he was he unprofessional? >> No no no he was not just the fact that he waited he continued the detainment even though he didn't suspect I I had anybody or he didn't suspect I was not a US citizen. He extended that detainment that becomes unconstitutional. >> Okay. Hey sir, how you doing today? >> Heyas, >> I met with you already know. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Not that one. No, I mean you know you basically know >> I know from last time what's going on. >> Yeah. I mean he continued the detainment even though he didn't suspect I I was not a US citizen. I had smuggling or anything like that. So >> Okay. Well, we know >> he he continued the detainment. >> Attention. I'm not going to let you go. Okay. >> I'm not Let's go, guys. >> Is there anybody in the vehicle? You have reasonable suspicion. >> Yes. Under Terry versus Ohio United States. The agent has real suspicion because you you're going around the checkpoint, sir. >> So that's enough reasonable suspicion. >> Yes, sir. Previous cases through there ties you up to a possible smuggling scheme. Lots of >> What do I have to do with any of it? >> We need to check every vehicle, >> right? >> Every vehicle that goes through around the checkpoint, we check in, especially that there was no traffic going through the checkpoint and you went around. >> Okay. So, you believe I'm I'm part of some sort of scheme or >> That's what we're here to investigate. >> So, you don't believe any of that, but you're still detaining me? >> I'm detaining you for to He's detaining you for an immigration inspection to conduct a further investigation >> because you went around the checkpoint. >> Terror versus Ohio court case. Supreme Court case. You're competent, right? >> What's Terry versus Ohio? >> Ter versus Ohio. You know, you know what? >> What is it? You know what you need? >> What is it? >> You know what you need? What is it? >> A crime. You need a crime. You need to believe that I >> You need I agent. I'm not going to argue with you. Okay. I'm not going to argue with you cuz you're stupid. You see lights on. You're dumb. You're dumb. You're [ __ ] stupid. >> Okay. Terry versus me. >> Yes. Terry versus how requires I'm talking to you. >> Requires you to believe that I committed some sort of a crime. You suspect I have >> I didn't make the stop, sir. >> All right. Where's your agent make the stop? >> Where's your agent? He >> He already spoke to you. You wanted to talk to a supervisor? >> Your agent didn't suspect I have narcotics. didn't suspect that have bodies. >> Did you explain to him? >> I said he went around the checkpoint and after immigration inspection, I asked him, "Is there anybody in the vehic?" And he didn't want to answer any questions. >> Right. >> Why didn't you go through the checkpoint? >> Do I have to go through the checkpoint? >> Yes, you do. >> Oh, really? >> Yes. >> So, going going through the access road is >> I don't want to talk to you because you you believe everything that I say is stupid. So, I'm not going to >> No, cuz you're you said you wanted to talk to a intelligent person, right? >> Did I say that? No, you're being an [ __ ] with me. I'm trying to lock you. I'm trying I'm not >> You're being an [ __ ] with me. You're detaining me without reasonable suspicion. >> I'm not detaining. >> You don't even know what Terry versus Ohio is, man. >> Okay. Did you go to school? Did you go to immigration law school? Did you go to Border Patrol Academy? >> What? 5 months? 6 months? That that make that makes you competent in the law now? >> 6 months training. >> Yeah. We'll call DPS. If he doesn't want to identify himself, call DPS. Go to the station. >> I understand. Oh, I appreciate you, man. >> Yeah. I mean, >> no, no, no. I understand. Thank you, man. >> Have a good night. >> These officers get confused when you don't want to answer their questions. Because from the beginning, when this officer was asking all these questions, he was letting this officer know, you're asking more questions than my wife. >> Even matter, man. >> If you have anything in the trunk, why would it matter? >> Yeah. Um, not even my wife is asking me your personal questions. I mean, that's >> In other words, I'm asking because I'm trying to do some fishing and this officer is not getting used to told no. So, he had to pull out the old trick. Well, let me call the canine. >> Okay. What if I tell you no? >> Fine. I told you I'm going to run a canine. And if the K9's 19, he says he doesn't detect any hidden people or narcotics in your trunk. >> Because that's one thing. Once they get told no, they just going to call the canine just for this K9 to come and not even be interested in this guy's car. I guess his agent didn't like that he was trying to talk to the dog. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think by the comment section. How you feel about this border patrol agent for pulling this guy over for literally no reason at all. You having this guy that was just doing nothing but minding his own business. He didn't want to go through the checkpoint. You having these officers thinking that's suspicious. They want to ask him, "Hey man, what's in the trunk? Hey man, just tell us what's in the trunk." And he's letting these officers know that they're asking more questions than his own wife. But that's the thing with these officers, man. They be asking these questions just hoping you're going to incriminate yourself. But they really hate it when you don't want to answer no questions. But you know, once you tell them no, they just going to call the K9 in hopes of just finding something. That's my take on it, though. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. >> Make sure to like and subscribe. Y'all have a wonderful day. [music] >> [music]
