[ __ ] you don't know me hold your
leg
all right let me comply i'm a compiler
all right man come on
take a deep breath let me let me just
put your legs down
take a deep breath
hey guys the video that i have for you
today is going to be a little bit longer
um the theme for today is going to be
this
uh hot button issue de-escalation
this is an incident where a person who
works at a local hotel
called the police because they had a
male who was
acting out in the lobby the male was
angry with the employee
was walking back behind the counter
making a lot of demands
and just not making a lot of sense i'm
including her 9-1-1 call
as well as a call from the mail he was
calling in just not making a lot of
sense making a lot of demands
when the officer showed up on scene he
talks to the clerk
tells the officer that the male had just
run out of the building wearing no
clothes
and then came back in wearing shorts and
t-shirt and
was unable to provide an id to
get a room key and uh wasn't able to
tell what room he was in
a lot of you know things that he was
just he wasn't really with it that day
the officers spent an incredible amount
of time with him i think
it was upwards of a little over 30
minutes before they even uh
put a hand on the guy they're just
trying to keep him calm
um help him gather his things from his
room and
escort him off the property they ended
up having to
force him to a hospital for care
not really sure if the male was high on
some kind of
illegal drug or if he just has some kind
of mental illness
and i was having some kind of breakdown
but if you watch the video you'll be
able to see
how much patience the officers had with
the male
and how in my opinion they really went
above and beyond to try to take care of
him make him feel comfortable
and make sure that the incident was
resolved
without anything bad happening uh enjoy
the video
i'll see you soon columnist please now
