And if you want to record me on this, we'll just write citations and start towing vehicles. We're trying to be nice about it, okay? And you guys are "Okay, no problem. We're out." But then as soon as we start getting like arguments and stuff like that, it's going to escalate. >> I never said I would do it, but I 100% leave here if you just give me your driver's license. You're here illegally. >> There's no sign. I'm not >> It doesn't matter. I'm telling you right now, you're here illegally. You need to be quiet. If we want you [clears throat] right now, we can arrest you because this is a misdemeanor and we can tow your vehicles out of here. If you want to go that route, you want to tell me I can't do it, I'm more than happy to prove you wrong. So, if he asks you for your license, here you go. You escalated >> How did I escalate? >> You want to tow my vehicle, write me under a law for a misdemeanor. I used You know from your experience. Yeah, but I wouldn't threat somebody like I'm going to arrest you. If If you're going to argue, I said right now you're committing a misdemeanor. You're a deputy, you know that. This is why we can arrest you. What will be the charge? Trespassing, yeah. When there's no visible signs saying I'm trespassing. >> [music] [music] >> What's good, YouTube? It's BB cast back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video is from the California Park Rangers where you have these Park Rangers approach this guy and tell him that he was trespassing. But the thing is this guy was trying to tell them that there was no sign and that when he was driving through California fire just let them on through. So, he didn't think he was doing anything wrong. But you having this Park Ranger start demanding for his ID. He said he was not going to give it. And then that's where you see this second Park Ranger start getting his feelings saying, "Well, you know, if you're going to be like that, I'll just tow your vehicle and take you to jail." What these Park Rangers didn't know is that this guy was a former deputy. So, he already knows the type of BS that these officers be playing, especially when they try to use scare tactics whenever they don't get what they want. I'm going to watch it and give my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section and let's get it to the video. Hey, yes, sir. Good. Yes, sir. Uh I'm not going to give you my driver's license. So, the reason I'm you're in the closure area. Okay, there was no sign. Where did you come from? Came from the flats. Way out there like a 2-hour drive. Um 2-hour drive? Yeah, off roading. Okay, hold on. Yep. What's your name and badge number? You approached me, I want to know who you are. All right, my name is Ramirez, 38. All right, sir. Appreciate it. Say again? Why are you getting so defensive? Oh, cuz I feel like you're coming right Why are you asking for my driver's license? That's why I'm serious. >> Cuz I was like, "Hey, are you guys in a closure area?" So, I'm trying to get more information. So, I thought you guys came from down here where it's there's a specific sign there. >> I passed you behind you. You were blocking that road. Exactly, you came behind me. There was no signs, and even Cal Fire was there, and they were like, "Hey, you know, come on through." No one stopped us. So, the confusion sometimes is is cuz sometimes individuals, fire crew that comes up here Uh-huh. drive four-wheel vehicles. Four-wheel drive vehicles. >> Okay. So, that's the confusion sometimes. >> was zero signs. I have it on my dash cam. There was zero signs coming up up here. How you doing, sir? You guys doing all >> No, no, so you're not I'm That's why I'm I'm I'm asking like what area did you come from? Cuz there are some areas >> the entrance that are not having signs yet. And that's what we needed. We needed that. >> signs. Well, that guy wanted to argue with me. I told him there was no signs at all. And >> I didn't want to argue with you. I told you there's a sign at the bottom of that building there, which is where you came in. Yeah, that's what That's what we're trying to figure out. That's That's beyond me now. Okay. I said this this area is closed, but I just say just be careful for vehicles in the in the No one's allowed to be up here right now. So, that's what we want to know where where he came from cuz when I was parked there, he came from the back end. Yeah, and there was zero signs, sir. Okay. If there was a sign But, we're we're we're letting you know Now you know you can't be here, okay? >> I understand that. Yeah. What's your name and badge number, sir? Mike Stevens, 790. Okay. And if you And if you want to record me on this, we'll just write citations and start towing vehicles. We're trying to be nice about it, okay? You're trying to be nice, but yeah, you're trying to tow everybody's vehicle. Yeah, okay. >> And if you want to record this, we'll citations and start towing vehicles. We're trying to be nice about it, okay? >> Okay. That's there. Okay. We have the metallic like you guys can't be here, got to go. And you guys are okay, no problem. We're out. But then as soon as we start getting like arguments and stuff like that, then it's going to escalate. You get you get what I'm saying? >> I I I would I never said I wouldn't and I 100% leave. Here approach you so give me your driver's license. >> Yeah. You're here illegally. There's no sign I'm not here illegally. >> matter. I'm telling you right now you're here illegally. If we want You need to be quiet. If we want you right [clears throat] now, we can arrest you because this is a misdemeanor and we can tow your vehicles out of here. If you want to go that route, you want to tell me I can't do it, I'm more than happy to prove you wrong. But with no signage? With no us telling you that you can't be here is enough. >> I'm leaving. Cuz now you know. Okay. Um So if he asks you for your license, here you go. Okay. Where how how you guys getting back? That's what we're trying to figure out. >> That way. We're going out. Is there exit this way cuz So all the >> The issue that we're trying to figure out is how you can exit without having to go back into where the close the hard closure is at cuz of the fire. >> So we went we went uh You see what I mean? Like I I don't >> The crap flats and there was a What was that first campsite we found? You remember the name of that? Was it crap flats? Do you guys Do you guys track your movements at all? No. GPS is very very like Cuz that that's what we're trying to figure out like okay, if you guys are camped, how can we get you back to the highway without having to you know, you know what I mean? Like circle back into I just know the main highway is coming up that way. So you did you come up 247? You come up 18, 36? We came up the 38. Had breakfast on the south side of the lake at Denny's at Bennie's. Okay. And then we went past the dam. Go about another 20 miles to the west. I was I was just having On Green Valley Road, we made a right on Green Valley Road. Okay. So that's where we that's where you entered our trail head and then we started off from Green Valley Road. You probably going to be faster than me. Yeah, I was just having head up this way. You know where I was parked at? Uh is there Can we go this way? No. >> No, it's going to be even longer this way. And the the fact is that we would have to track you down so I would have to drive with you. And it's a lot easier to drive this way and back down. Okay. You know what I mean? Cuz the our hard closure area pretty much faces all this side. Okay. And then there's trails to go back into the hard into the fire area. Okay. Which right now, I mean, I don't know exactly what they're doing but they're just making sure that there's no hot coals still out there and you guys get stuck in the fire zone. I went to the welcome center and there was nothing mentioned about Be something that they might want to tell us when we Yeah, no, no, yeah. And then sometimes that's why we we wonder like, hey, where is it exactly do you come from? >> How come the welcome center doesn't inform us that there's an active fire condition we shouldn't be up here? We don't work for the foresters. We we have no idea. No communication with the welcome center. We don't we don't do anything with that. We're here assigned to the incident. Okay. Yeah, and that's I mean, that's You guys don't post the signs yourself? You Mhm. No? Okay. So that's where You got me like when we come up, we see the signs ourselves. We know there's a sign here and all down this road and there's supposed to be on that side but then again, you know how the public is. They'll probably take the sign off, move it off. >> of times people will just take them down the road. Yeah. And they'll probably see the is the sign there, it's probably thrown off on the side of the road. And that's exactly where incidents happen to individuals driving into the fire and get lost and Right. no signal and whatnot. Right. We'll drive down that way then. Okay. So drive down that way and make a left. That's the quickest to get to the highway? >> It's going to be the quickest to get to the highway. >> And then it's not too steep for going down >> Oh no, no, no. You guys are good. No, you guys are good. Okay. Sorry to interrupt you, officer. Yeah. No, we're good. That guy's cool. Well, have a good one, man. Be safe. Enjoy. So, you guys you guys You guys know how to get out of here? Yeah, he said go down and make a left. Okay, do you know where You know exactly where you're making the left? The first Yeah, the first Well, there's a couple of lefts. >> crosswalk that I see that looks like a wide Looks like a regular road. high traffic area. It's probably where the signs are going this way where I saw one of you park. Yeah. So, there was another guy down there and I mean after this we're going to go check it out. >> see us coming down the road behind you? Yes, and that's >> vehicle, too? So, like I said, there's fire crews that come up here that are driving They look like they're dressed just like this. Yeah. Well, that's different though, man. That looks like >> No, they'll they'll they'll drive they'll drive up here with like their I wouldn't say with their personal vehicles. >> Yeah. So, it's I looked at it and I was like, "Okay, that that kind of resembles the same thing." It wasn't off it wasn't Now, if I had if I seen like a couple of Jeeps, like, "Okay, that's not common." You know what I mean? So, Cuz I was telling him I said if there was an issue you would have put your lights on I would have respected whatever you told me and wouldn't even come this way. No, that's when you came up here I'm like, "Oh man, they're not part of the fire department. Let's go do our job." Yeah. Yeah. But Yeah, just carry on that way. Like I said, we're just we're all about, "Hey, you guys can't be here. You got to get out." You know? >> We're going to get out, sir. But, you know, if you guys come back it's going to be different. All right. Appreciate the respect, you know, so whatever you want to call it. No, that's all right. Just the the warning. You already told me, sir. I'm ex-military. I I 100% agree with you. But, I don't understand why the you know, not the de-escalation and be like, "Hey, you guys are having fun my daughter never seen home calm." Right. I get it, but under the circumstances like he I mean, he was cool. I mean he de-escalated super fast. You escalated. How did I escalate? You called my vehicle. You threatened me with an arrest for a misdemeanor. I didn't know if that's legal. I used to work for the county county sheriff's department. Okay. I'm an airline pilot. In other words, this guy realized that there's more to life than working with a whole bunch of tyrants. You want to see my business card? I work for the sheriff's department. For John McMahon. Okay. I've been a law enforcement for 20-something years and worked with with different agencies and So we're on the same team. We you know we bleed the same blood. And you know how it is when you go up there and someone starts Well, I see a sign and you know exactly where you're coming from. >> bullshitting thing though. Yeah, I get it. You would think I was bullshitting. You guys just admit there's no signs. I didn't say that. He He said that. I don't know I don't know where you came from. I know there is signs up there. And and you from being a deputy, you know from your experience that people do go up there and they rip down signs, right? >> understand that. I do. I do. So you know the situation. Yeah, but we don't arrest somebody like I'm going to arrest you. No, no. I'm going to say to you if you if you're going to argue I said right now you've committed a misdemeanor. You as a deputy, you know from our deputy, you know that. Right? I guess if you say so. You know? It's it you want to call it a threat or whatever it's it's this is why this is why we can't have >> will be the charge? Trespassing. Inside inside a closed So two trespassing when there's no visible signs saying I'm trespassing. But when we tell you you can't be here and you keep you argue. We're still arguing but anyways. You said you Hey brother. I need his testosterone cuz being 50 years old I'm getting kind of weak man. >> [laughter] >> This park ranger might have a little bit too much testosterone how he was acting. Because from the beginning when this guy was trying to explain how there was no signs, you having that second park ranger started butting in so he can assert his dominance. I'm from the back end. Yeah, and there was no signs there. Okay. If there was a sign We're letting you know. Now you know you can't be here, okay? I understand that, yeah. Oh man, but when he asked for his badge number, he saw that he was recording, he wants to say that he can arrest him and tow his vehicle. What's your name and badge number, sir? Mike Stevens, 790. Okay. And and if you want to record me on this, we'll just write citations and start towing vehicles. Matter of I'm telling you right now, you're here illegally. If we want You be quiet. If we want to right now, we can arrest you because this is a misdemeanor, and we can tow your vehicles out of here. If you want to go that route, you want to tell me I can't do it, I'm more than happy to prove you wrong. Look, if you don't want to feed me your ID, I could just tow your vehicle and take you to jail. Typical tyrant. And even towards the end, when he was trying to tell this ranger how he could just work on de-escalating, not trying to threaten to tow people's vehicles because he don't get what he want. >> De-escalated. How did I escalate? I'll tow my vehicles. Right. You threaten me to under arrest for a misdemeanor. Right. I'm saying what? And and you know how it is, when you go up there and someone starts Why is he signing it? You know exactly what you're You know the situation. Yeah, but I wouldn't threaten somebody like I'm going to arrest you. No, no. I'm going to say here if you're if If you're going to argue, I said right now you're committing a misdemeanor. You as a deputy, you know from our deputy, you know that. >> And for him being a former deputy, he could tell when you're being on a power trip. But that's my take on it though, let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. How do you feel about these California park rangers for approaching this guy, trying their hardest to get his ID. You having that first park ranger not really tripping at first, but that second one was just on a power trip. Like he just cannot believe that he got told no. And to his surprise, this guy was a former deputy. And even then, he was still trying to do some cosplaying, trying to say, "Well, you know how it is. You know you being a former deputy, you know how it is." Yeah, he know how it is when you be on a power trip, when you don't get what you want. like a big crybaby, and that's exactly how this ranger was acting. Want to threaten him saying that he could tow his vehicle, take him to jail, and just being a complete tyrant. And he just couldn't help that he was getting called out for it. That's my take on it though, let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day. >> [music] [music] >> Mhm.
