Is there any reason why I'm being pulled over? >> Yeah, there's a couple different reasons. One, you have blue light to the rear. Second, you stopped on the sidewalk. Third, no blinker when turning from the number two lane to the number one lane. License, registration, proof, insurance, please. Where you guys coming from? >> Oh, Disneyland. >> Coming from Disneyland. >> Yep. >> Oh, that's a little peculiar. >> Where are you headed to? >> Disneyland. >> You're headed to Disneyland. Is this suspect of criminal activity? >> Can you not wear a nonextradable? >> That's a That's an offense that I can get somebody's ID for. >> Okay. >> I took my I took my belt off when you pulled up, right? That's what we're going to go with is I took my belt off when you pulled up cuz you were about to get out and subscribe. >> Did you take your belt off when you pulled up? No, but that's where we >> Oh, okay. >> Cuz you pulled in this road, so we're going to get out. >> Why does he need my >> This this whole pullover right now is These are the stu These are really dumb reason. >> I get in [ __ ] trouble for this. I didn't do anything. >> You're not getting in trouble, Co. You didn't do anything. >> You're not driving. >> I know, but why does my thing? Because I have a seat belt on because I took it off. >> You don't need to give it to him. You didn't need to give it to him. >> Oh, but I just don't want to start my thing. I just It's up to you, Mom. It's up to you. I could have gave it. >> I'm just going to cooperate. Where the >> I already know what y'all going to say, but listen, once you hear about the history of this police department, you'll probably understand a little bit better. >> I think every time this happens, I always get super like shaky just because. >> Yeah, just the best thing to do is just cooperate. >> Cooperation. I'm going to Disneyland. We're coming back from Disneyland. You notice how he didn't really ask that we why we're going to Disney? Cuz he doesn't care. >> Yeah. You stopped on the sidewalk. >> What the [ __ ] does that mean? >> I'm actually going to bring See, the reason why Colton they mentioned these things is cuz he wanted to pull me over for one thing, but they can't. They have to mention three dumb things. >> I I understand the blinker. That was understandable. But >> I have blue I do understand the blue backup lights. But how do you have blue? >> Yeah, I have blue reverse lights. >> Oh. Oh, yeah. You can't you can't have LED lights at that. >> How did he see me with blue reverse lights? >> Where? >> What the [ __ ] >> Are you sure it's just reverse lights or it's not? >> It's reverse. >> It's just reverse. So, how did he see reverse? >> Honestly, if you're going to ask him about it, just I I understand you don't want to be polite. Just just like just try to be polite about it. Just like, "Excuse me. Just >> if I go to jail, today is 100% my fault, okay? And I'm not going to bend over if he's like, "Hey, all you have to do is say thank you and I won't give you a ticket." I'm not going to say thank you. Okay, I'll take the ticket. No. >> Really? >> If he wants me to say thank you for anything, well, cool. Why do I have to thank him? You're not going to get in trouble, okay? So, don't worry about anything. >> I don't understand. He asked me for I gave him my my permit, which is an identification code. And he said, "Do you have an ID?" And I said, "No, I have my permit." He just grabbed everybody's IDs, dude. And should I should have just said I didn't have one. >> What? I could have just said I didn't have one. I don't know if he wants my This car does have insurance, but I don't know where the So, if he wants this, I'll give it to him. He doesn't ask for it. I ain't giving. >> You happen to find that insurance, bud? >> Yeah, I did. >> Bud, >> what was what was the start stopping on the parking? >> What did you say? Stopping on the sidewalk. >> Yep. Stopping on the sidewalk. >> Where? When? >> Uh when you were pulling out a fitness for 10 or uh fit zone, it's now called. When did I >> So, can you explain actually what I did? >> So, there's a sidewalk there. >> Per Arizona statue, you cannot stop, stand, or park on a sidewalk. >> So, you're saying when you first pull out? >> Yep. >> But I can't see traffic to my left if I don't. >> You're supposed to stop before it and then progress to where you can see it. >> That way, you're looking for pedestrians coming uh eastbound or westbound on there. Okay. Is there any guns, weapons, knives, anything like that in the car? >> No. >> Okay. Is there anything illegal in the car? >> No. >> Okay. Can I search the car? >> No. >> Okay, I got you. Just give me a second. >> Why does he want to search the car? >> I don't know. Cuz he's bored. >> You do have a knife on you. But >> it's not in the car. It's on me. >> That's true. Yeah. >> He sees the pal. He goes, "Get on the ground." >> Good. >> Any firearms in the vehicle? >> Uh, no sir. No. >> Any weapons in the vehicle? >> No. >> Guns? Knife? There's a knife on my side. >> On what? >> On my side. In his pocket. Right there. >> In your pocket? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Right there. >> Okay. We'll take care of that when we get you out here in a second. All right. >> Yes, sir. >> Go ahead and step out. >> Yes, sir. >> Me. Him. Step out. >> Yeah. Him step out. You two stay in the car. >> Okay. >> Landon, step out of the car for me, man. Is it okay if I stay next to the camera at least right here? >> Stay next to the camera. Well, >> stand next to the camera. My camera. I stand next to the camera so I can record stuff. >> Oh. >> Oh, that camera. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. Do you have any guns, weapons, knives, anything? >> I have a knife on my side right here. >> You have a what? >> A knife on my side right here. >> Okay. I'm just going to take that for the duration of the stop. Okay, man. >> Okay. >> Anything else like this on? >> I appreciate you letting me know about this. Okay. >> All right. And we'll get your buddy out here in a second. Go stand right back there. Right by your other buddy. Okay. >> Can I stay by the camera? >> Nope. Not right now. Stand back there for me. >> Yes. >> Not trusting no K9 officer when they get that excited. >> Yes. Sorry, Colton. It's just they ripped my bag out and they threw all my stuff everywhere. So, >> hey, is there a cleanup policy that you get real quick? >> At least like I was not a dick about it. >> No, Troy Troy wasn't >> the only reason. So, I I told Troy like I told him the truth. I said I told him where we were coming from cuz he he didn't give off that bad energy. He's like, "What were you guys doing?" I was like, "Oh, we were just in a parking lot. We were trying to have a car." And he's like, "Oh, okay. Well, how long is the car been?" I said, "I that's kind of a question for him. I'm not quite sure." >> But whenever you're dealing with a police department like this and you see this type of stuff, it does make people scared of the police and I can understand that. >> It was June 8th, 2024. >> My lungs are dealing with blood. >> These are some of Daniel Leslie's last words. >> Uh, why' you guys me? What did I do? I didn't commit a crime. He's lying on the floor of his home. The Prescuit police officer who shot him, trying to apply a tourniquet. >> Where else are you hit? >> Officers had arrived at the house just minutes earlier, finding the 34year-old >> Daniel >> outside by a car. >> Hey, can I talk to you really quick? >> No. >> Why not? >> Don't have anything to tell you. >> Police said they had been looking for Daniel Leslie after a domestic violence call the previous day, saying Daniel's girlfriend claimed he tried to break down the door of her RV and threatened to kill her. Step off my property, please. >> Sir, you need to step away from the car. >> All right. I have one at gun 541. I have one at gunpoint. >> A DPS investigation later confirmed that Daniel was unarmed here at his house. And according to lawyers for Daniel's mom, he did not pose a threat to anyone during the police encounter. The family filed this legal claim last fall, alleging wrongful death and negligence against the city of Prescuit, the police department, and officer Brian Sutton. >> Come here. Don't go in that. Ma'am, is there anyone in that house? >> Yes, there's lots of people in that house. >> Don't go in there. You will get >> The officer fired three times, fatally wounding Daniel. His mother's legal claim, a precursor to a lawsuit, said Daniel had a right not to speak to the police, and says a more obviously unlawful and unconstitutional killing of an unarmed citizen by a police officer is difficult to imagine. I'm senior investigator. And I'm not saying that this is the reason because you do have people that just love to obey the police officers. Nothing wrong with that either. But at the same time, you can't let them trample over your rights. Even in this video right here, you having this officer just get straight to fishing. >> Where you guys coming from? >> Oh, Disneyland. >> Okay. Is there any guns, weapons, knives, anything like that in the car? >> No. >> Okay. Can I search the car? >> No. >> Okay. >> But whenever you have them detectives come around, you already know it's going to be some more BS. >> In the vehicle? Uh, >> no, sir. Any weapons in the vehicle? >> Yes, sir. No guns, knives? There's a knife on my side. >> And like I said before, I'm not trusting no K9 officer that gets this excited when they think they find something. >> Yes. >> And they completely ripped through this guy's entire car just to not find nothing. That's my take on it, though. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. How you feel about these Prescott police officers for pulling this guy over on a completely BS stop. They literally just try to find anything to stop him for just to search his car. Because whenever that officer start asking where you coming from, is there anything in the car? And then like I said, whenever you have these detectives come around, you already know it's going to be some BS because the only thing that they're out for is to try to catch something. And then even having the K-9 officer just get overly excited thinking that they found something just end up just letting them go. And it just goes to show how bad these officers really be fishing and why it's always good to know your rights because in these situations like this, these officers will literally go into the depths to try to find something. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think by the comment section. Make sure to like, subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day. [Music]
