no
maybe like that I am
you shut up
it's a few minutes after midnight on
November 12 2022 and the streets of
Sumter County Florida are relatively
quiet a patrolman of the Wildwood police
department is monitoring the area near
County Road 44A when he Witnesses a dark
gray 2018 Ford Fusion ride over a nearby
curb this obviously catches his
attention and the officer zones in on
the vehicle as it passes he notices
something worth questioning there's an
alarming amount of damage to the front
of the car admittedly the damage could
have been old and entirely unrelated but
that seems less plausible when you
consider the clusters of freshly broken
branches and leaves that were both
sticking out of the grill of the car and
Tangled Up underneath it he continues to
watch as the car drives away Westbound
and decides that this war further
investigation a little while later he
manages to locate the vehicle it's
parked in front of a residence only five
minutes from where he'd first seen it
hit the curb
this time the officer goes over to
perform a welfare check and ensure that
the occupants are intoxicated or in need
of assistance
in the driver's seat was 30-year-old
Terry Edwards as he approaches another
woman was standing outside the car this
is the officers would soon find out is
24 year old Darion Noel Rose
the patrolman's partner greets the women
first
Terry exits the car to engage with the
officers and right off the bat she
appears to be potentially intoxicated as
well Darian also seems to be showing
signs of intoxication officers begin to
confront the girls about the state of
their car and that's when chaos ensues
come over here real quick do you guys
have IDs on you no yes no he's in the
car we don't okay
listen to me what's going on listen

a tree branch
out there we're drinking tonight when
they drove home this is darion's
boyfriend who the girls refer to as sug
he appears to have just come outside
reasonably confused as to why his
girlfriend Darian Terry and a couple of
police officers are yelling in front of
his house boy just trying to make sure
if no if they weren't drinking
thank you

that I'm a good lawyer I'm not talking
to you
I'm not talking to you
listen the only reason why your hand
comes because you're very I'm just

asking you to do something you're not
doing we're here for the lawful reason
we're trying to figure something out
okay and you're yelling and screaming at
us and I'm asking you to stay there and
you're bumping up okay you can't tell me
where to go right here this is a free
country you can just tell me where I can
walk so I'm here and we're investing is
your camera on yeah absolutely okay it's
right here okay that's your phone that's
the camera no that looks like a cell

here my husband is on the way to get me
I told him I was coming here
okay and he is coming to get me okay
it's fine I didn't have to escalate like
this no she hollering and that's why
it's made it yeah we weren't coming any
kind of crazy way tell her to
it's not necessary
because I had done I was driving with my
knee
she's hollering as well I know I know

roadway I hit the tree okay so we're in
turn checking on you to make sure you're
okay I can see let me speak real quick
okay I can see you're very intoxicated

wrong and I'm going to court by this

[Music]
stupid ass
mustache Heaven is I need to speak
hello the I'm home
that's my cousin yeah she is with him
yeah so I came here like I said you
you've been trying to cooperate just
because all that happened it doesn't
mean you're going to jail okay right
okay so I don't want no no problems no
anything so I tried to come to the
closest place right
yeah I know
close that door real quick
I mean if I wanted to I could get it for
obstruction because before you got there
that one this one yeah oh yeah and I
was sitting over there by devs looking
out for whoever's gonna show up here
tonight
she ran like 15 feet off the road hit a
big ass Bush drug it with her look at
the front of the car her tire is flat
yeah but um she's just pissed off she
doesn't want her to go she didn't want
her to give me her ID nothing like that
she's just going my guard I said no I'm
trying to walk with her and she's over
here trying to get the middle of us and
no one's here so I'm not trying to go
Hands-On until someone else gets here
because I'm not gonna about to do it
with him stop
you you no talking about it
what are you talking about
you see me banging on yourself
I was in my yard I can't wait to take
this to the police
let me out
she does she know she can go to jail
does she know she can go to jail for
other she's doing yeah
just for obstructing what I'm trying to
talk to her the whole time you see she's
about to Buck up at me
do you have her name and date of birth
did you give it to him yeah I gave it to
him okay
I already ran it okay
yeah there was just absolutely no reason
for her to come at me like that well she
was yeah and she like Tipsy is she drunk
like because she was the officer trying
to grab home I'm sitting here trying to
grab her now she has
he's talking about me sending me the
out
now she was calling she'd be out here
you're actually doing your job I I have
no fault no nothing to that you're doing
it I'm gonna go on the other side
it's unlocked
what's her name
Darian
Frankenstein
the Darion what if you just relax
you get out why am I in here in the
first place because you're acting crazy
crazy I'll show you crazy I ain't acting
crazy right now no I'm crazy because I
want to get the out of here
no because you were getting in the way
I'm trying to talk to your cousin in the
way getting in the way in the way I
would have showed you in the way I
didn't have a dish I'm allowed to walk
around walk in my yard you know
you can go to jail for this right for
what for obstructing oh shut the light
I'm in a police car because you were
obstructing when I was out here trying
to I wasn't pushing you I wasn't I
wasn't in the way of you talking to her
I was just trying to stand with her to
make sure she was okay you kept telling
her to go inside and okay she didn't
want to go inside okay she was gonna go
to the road I was gonna go to the road
too and you kept saying don't give your
ID no never said that it is what it is
yeah it is it is she's going to jail
okay good enough
um you can swap into our car swap into
our car you know this is my
my cousins
yeah put my damn dress down and I'm out
here I'll have her do that no ain't no
hers
they are
Darion is moved to a second police
vehicle surprisingly Darian sits
relatively quiet in this car she seems
to have run out of steam or she might
just be feeling a bit dizzy from the
events of the night after about five
minutes officers let Darian out of the
car
sure don't ask me to go no where
else God damn it
I don't know
I thought she clapped her hands together
my back was turned okay well here's the
thing she is gonna go to jail for
obstructing oh my God because she's
acting crazy she pretty much almost
flopped me out here while I'm waiting on
my partner over here because she didn't
want her she didn't want me to go to
jail by the time you came out
it's going to be well listen it's going
to be a small Bond
I can't remember off the top of my head
but it's gonna be a small Bond it's one
of those things if I let her go she'll
do things she could do over and over and
over again no it
no she got it
to her politely she's over here calling
him for this that and the other it's
just it's not the disrespect and
everything on top of it
man
if I don't do it
But ultimately his hair decision well
she's not calm because but you you guys
are trying to do the right thing it was
her that's why she's the one going to
jail so her rage is me her rage is not
him courageous me she's trying to
protect
she knows she's going to RN school she
gotta act right
yeah you know what I'm saying this is on
her she's a she's an adult she's an
adult you know she wants to be
registered nurse
I'm not gonna sit here and talk to these
people all day where's your phone he got
it he got it her phone
she wants it
okay all right he's going to keep your
he said he's going to keep your phone
my nursing school
I don't know if is this your first
offense
is this your first offense
maybe not
sorry
he said if I talk to you
no it doesn't work like that my question
okay why are you taking her instead of
me yeah because
my question
um I was the one that was wrong I can
take you okay
she's asked she's literally asking me
she's literally asking me to go to jail
you gave him a starting mile Journey
okay
the police report states that their
reason for not arresting Terry is that
they couldn't prove that she was in
possession of the keys to the car when
they found her sitting in the driver's
seat thus the officers leave Shogun
Terry to their devices and drive off
toward the station with Darion in the
back seat
it's interesting to note that Terry
asked to be taken to jail in Darien's
Place admitting she was the driver
despite darion's earlier statement that
she was driving
what's my charge
obstruction how much is the mind I'll
look it up give me a second okay thanks
thousand dollars so if you bond out
it'll just be ten percent that's like a
hundred dollars or is it ten or five
uh ten percent of a hundred is ten
yeah I should have got my phone you
wouldn't give it to me I'm telling you
well you I said get it that's mine
I sent you uh she wants her party he
said she don't need her phone
well call this number can you call this
number for me you you can get you get a
phone call like almost a minute when you
get there
oh
okay

[Music]
Darian Rose was taken inside the Sumter
County Detention Center and booked for
obstruction of justice her 100 Bond was
quickly paid and she was soon released
it's unclear if Darion was actually
convicted of any crime
