And she was trying to tell these officers that she doesn't have anything. "Y'all just write the ticket. Send me on my way." And you will see where these officers were trying everything they could to get her out the car so they could search her car for 30 seconds. And she was not having it. I'mma watch it get my reaction. They pulled me over for a light. Why not just write me a ticket for the light? I have nothing in here for you to flip. I have nothing here. >> Okay, well, one, you're on camera, just so you know, I just had to let everybody know, right? Um two, just so you know, we are allowed to ask you to step out of the car, Pennsylvania versus Mimms. And I and I've given him the honest So, I'm just telling you I have nothing in this car. And that's fine, but the thing is >> I don't even play like that. I would never do that. I have five kids at home. I would never do that. >> Listen, Pennsylvania versus Mimms allows us to ask the driver allows us to ask the driver to step out of the vehicle. We're allowed to do that, and then you are supposed to comply. I never said I wasn't complying about stepping out the vehicle. They want to search my They asked me to search my vehicle. After license and insurance, what are you searching my vehicle for? >> allowed to search the >> All I have is a ticket for a light. What are we doing? So, we're allowed to search the immediate area, Pennsylvania versus Mimms, ask you to step out of the car, you made the first Why would you be able to search the vehicle? the immediate area. It's not your entire vehicle, it's the immediate area. >> They asked to search inside my vehicle after I told them he asked do I have a gun. I don't even have a gun. All right, so that was going to do a protective sweep of your immediate area. >> You said I have a gun. No, you did not. You said I have a gun. Do I have a gun? You were about to search my whole vehicle for a gun. At this point, it doesn't matter if you have a misunderstanding. Do you get what I'm saying? I have no gun. I would never carry that. I would never do no [ __ ] like that. I wouldn't even carry a gun outside. Even concealed carry, I wouldn't carry no gun outside. I have children. Well, listen, I think you should. I'm all about the CC I. I don't. I don't. I don't play like that. So, listen, I'm going to ask you to step out of the car. These officers claim they care about the Second Amendment, but still want to take your weapons. I wouldn't carry no gun outside. I have children. Well, listen, I think you should. I'm all about the CC I. I don't. I don't. I don't play like that. >> That's fine. So, listen, I'm going to ask you to step out of the car. Okay? I'm I'm asking you >> You asked me to step out of the institution of my own vehicle for what? Because of Pennsylvania versus Mimms, it's a Supreme it's a Supreme Court >> Pennsylvania, you said Pennsylvania? Pennsylvania versus versus it's Supreme Court meaning it's all over the country, okay? So, I'm going to ask you to step out of the vehicle. There's no reason for this pushback. You literally could be on your way by now. He never said that. But me stepping out of the vehicle does what for us? What does it do for me? What what does me standing in my vehicle for do for me? You getting out of your vehicle do for you? Yeah. It gets you on your way sooner. If you have nothing What am I doing when I get in my vehicle? You going to search my vehicle? You know We're going to search the immediate area. We're not looking for the whole car. We're searching the immediate area because of the certain movements that you made. So, when when my guys do traffic stops I told him I was grabbing my wallet. What the hell? Okay, but you have to understand we don't know you, right? We don't know your intentions, right? All right, so you first you told me that you were reaching back there. I never reached back there. >> That's what you just That's what You you said that I was doing that. I never reached back there at all, not one time. So, we're not >> You said that. I didn't say I reached back there. I grabbed my wallet and I did this. I was just giving you a hand movement because you had asked me a question. That was not no literal note I did. No. Listen, man, we want to get over with it. I know you want to get >> Man, come on now. I'm I'm trying to reason with you. I'm trying to reason with you. You know damn well I All right, well You can record all you'd like. I don't have a problem with it. I don't really care cuz you're on camera as well, so we could all be on camera together. So, I'm going to ask you to step out of the car for the Supreme Court, okay? I'm not seeing a reason to step out of the car. I have a license and insurance. All that is a ticket. >> Pennsylvania versus Mimms. What? No, but I have a ticket. >> Court. I don't care about your ticket. That that's something you got to What does this have to do with me getting out of the car? >> Because we are allowed to ask the driver and any passenger to step out of the vehicle due to the Supreme Court law. >> I just But I just told you. And you >> Can I be honest with you? If I like I'm giving you a position to just do dumb [ __ ] I can't hear I'm sorry I can't hear you with the car. I can't You heard the car? I can't hear you. I could be real rude right now, but I'm not. I'm asking you to stop. >> are rude. Y'all is really being rude with me. You think I'm rude? You haven't seen me rude. >> somewhere. Well, guess what? >> My damn kids waiting on me. This is really This really is rude. It's really not. Right. How am I being rude though? Because you don't want to get out of the car. >> What is really a traffic stop though? I yes, I already explained that a thousand times. What what what what why would it why >> no. We're done explaining. We've explained multiple times. At this point, this doesn't make any sense why you want to continue to argue. Because what he said, let's start with that. >> what? You're not worried about him. You're talking to me right now. Okay? You're not talking to the other officer. You're talking to >> me that and ask me out of this vehicle. Well, I'm asking you to step out of the car because of the Supreme Court law. You can smirk all you want and that's fine. >> smirking. That's not what I'm doing. >> we have we we're asking you to step out right now. >> the Supreme Court law that I don't know about because I just told you. >> license insurance is making me get out of my car. I don't care if you have a license. We're doing this because we're allowed to ask you to. That's the reason why we pay for it. So I don't have to get out of my car. research because we're allowed to ask you to. I'm telling you You're allowed to ask me and I'm allowed to say no. >> No. Yes, I am. We're allowed to ask you to step out. And then you don't want to get out of the car. And then we can take you out. But I don't want to do that. You have to understand And And And And I responded with no. Why would you take me out of my car? That makes no sense. How? How am I not complying, ma'am? >> just answer yes or no. Are you going to step out of the vehicle since we're giving you a lawful order to step out? Yes or no? I'm not answering you no more. I'm talking to I'm not talking to Because this is about to be an arrest and you're not going to be going home. How is this helping? Is this worth Like is this worth you doing that? Like be for real. >> is. This doesn't make any sense why we're making this You're going to break my phone, throw my phone, too? Cuz that's what y'all did before, the This has happened before. I need you to step out. It's all I need to do. Ma'am, everyone's body camera's on. You can search the car like this. There's nothing in here. Ma'am, I would not have a gun in this car. You first said, "Do you know me?" If you don't know me >> You don't know me either. And I wouldn't bother you if I knew you. I wouldn't even do that to you. But the thing is, so I don't know your intention. And I hate to say it, people don't like the police. What intention? I'm Ironically, it's stuff like this why people don't like the police. I wouldn't even do that to you. But the thing is, so I don't know your intention. And I hate to say it, people don't like the police. What intention? I'm driving home. What would my intention be? Do I know that you're a mom of five until you told me? Do I know this? I wouldn't bother women. I wouldn't even bother you. Okay, well, guess what? We don't discriminate. Men, women >> Clearly y'all do cuz y'all have to y'all don't like up cuz y'all like up Y'all people like me. Clearly you do. Okay. Come on, be for real. Come on. >> for real. It's not my first day on the job and I'm not new. I know, I can tell. That's why y'all profile people like me. Well, I'm sorry that you feel that way. >> But but look, babe, there's nothing in this car. Come on, be for I'm desperate you to step out. Listen to me. Whatever you have in this car, I can guarantee you we probably don't care. Unless you got like I don't have nothing in the car. No, no. We don't really care. Can I be honest with you? I don't have nothing in this car. If you step out, it'll literally take 30 seconds. If you can get back in your >> I'm giving you permission to do stuff that I did not give permission to do. You get I'm Like, be for real. >> Do you understand when we ask you to do something it's I Do you open the door already? You can search whatever you want to search. There's nothing in this car. You said I had a gun. All you got to do is write me a ticket. Yes, I did. I'm going to start writing you tickets. Yeah, I did. I did. >> me your registration, please? So, if that's all y'all do is tickets, why are we doing this? Why are we doing this if that's all it is? >> you're prolonging this. I've asked you to simply step out. You could have been gone 20 minutes ago or 15 minutes ago. >> have because you show me your license insurance. When you show your license insurance, you get gone. You're on some other You're on some other [ __ ] That's clear. No. So, we Can I get the insurance real quick? If I don't >> Yes, I gave it to you. Hold up. Hold up. My camera's been on. My camera's been on. I need the insurance. When cops are efficient, one thing that they love to use is that Pennsylvania versus Mimms because they was really trying to use Pennsylvania versus Mimms so they could search her. Pennsylvania versus Mimms allows us to ask the driver to step out of the vehicle. >> I never said I wasn't complaining about stepping out the vehicle. They wanted to search my They asked me to search my vehicle. All I have is a ticket for a light. What are we doing? It went from, "Hey, it's your headlight." to, "Hey, we're doing investigation." And she was letting them know, "Y'all have all of this stuff happening in the city, but yet you want to mess with people that just trying to go about their day." I heard that y'all don't like people like me. Oh, it'll really take 30 seconds. No, cuz I'm giving It's not about it taking 30 seconds cuz those 30 seconds could turn into a minute. Meanwhile, y'all just wasting this lady's time. And these cops were trying to do all that fishing just to end up saying, "We're just going to write you some tickets and send you on about your way." I'm going to start writing you tickets. Yeah, I did. >> You could have been gone 20 minutes ago or 15 minutes ago. So >> That's clear. No. So, we Can I get the insurance real quick? And these cops ended up doing what they were supposed to do in the beginning, wrote her some tickets and sent her about her way. But, that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. How do you feel about these Chicago police officers for pulling this lady over and got straight to fishing. You having that one cop say, "Hey, do you got any weapons?" And she's trying to tell them she doesn't have anything. He'll just write her ticket. That's when you having the lady officer come up to her and start saying, "Pennsylvania versus Mimms, we can ask you step out the car." One thing that they love doing is using Pennsylvania versus Mimms, and this lady officer just kept using it. She was letting them know, "Just write my tickets and send me on about my way." And that's when you having that last cop say, "Okay, we're going to write you your tickets." And that's what they end up doing, writing her her ticket for her headlight and sent her about her way. Because a lot of these officers get too comfortable when they want to pull you over for your headlight, and then your headlight turns into something else, and then they want to turn this into a whole investigation when they literally got bigger stuff to handle in the city rather than dealing with somebody who just trying to go about their day. That's my take on the toe. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day. >> [music] [music] [music]
