respond to reports of a pickup truck
that has just crashed into a fire
hydrant off of State Road 100 and old
King's Road the scene itself is an
absolute mess
but nothing could have prepared
authorities for such a bizarre and
violent encounter with the man who'd
been behind the wheel even more shocking
is the fact that this isn't his first
face-to-face meeting with law
enforcement the officer approaches the
chaotic scene where a nearby ditch is
already overflowing with water next to
the truck is 52-year-old Frank Clement
Jr who makes a shocking confession right
off the bat what

police vehicle the arresting officer
makes his way to Christopher darville
who initially placed the call to
dispatch what did you guys see oh yeah I
saw him swing at you like like I
actually put it right there so I saw two
officers you and that man kind to
approach him and then when you were on
your driver's door I saw it looked like
he was like going through your gun
honestly and I was like [ __ ] that that's
when you saw me get likeing 30 ft away
as soon as I saw him like it it looked
like uh like he was like going through
your gun man I was like uh and I like
backed up and then but like by the time
I like saw you then you had him like get
on ground according to police documents
Frank supposedly asked Christopher not
to call police as Christopher tried to
calm him down he allegedly became rather
unnerved as Frank began to walk closer
to him although it's unclear as to why
this made Christopher nervous it is
quite obvious from the previous footage
that there was no telling what Frank
might do regardless the situation has
landed him in the back of a police car
but this doesn't mean that his peculiar
Behavior has come to a halt Frank has
much more to say I'm apologizing so you

police report but as a grown ass man I

jail all I wanted to do today was take
my dog out and have a good time and I'm

that I know you don't believe me but in
my heart of hearts I'm sorry man that

that's how I'm built I'm having my first
grandbaby
go my son's 27 so he said hey Dad my
girl's pregnant I don't know if it's a
boy or girl but I'm I'm I'm I'm going to
be a grandad I know that if you can find
it in your heart to forgive me I'm
asking you to forgive me that was just
me being a drunk my eye hurts it
actually hurts like a mother I don't I
with people I was trying to get you off

apologize sir in August of
2023 only 2 months after the shocking
arrest you witnessed Frank pleaded no
contest to resisting an officer with
violence aggravated battery on a law
enforcement officer and DUI second
offense he was sentenced to 180 days in
the county jail and was given credit for
the 76 days already spent at the
facility
