your ID on you. >> There's a there's a guy with a similar name to the red shirt owner to this car. >> No, you don't need to see my ID for that. What'd you pull me over for? Just cuz I'm riding around the area you decided to run my plate. Why? >> Because it's odd driving behavior when you're making circles in the area. >> No, it's not. You have no reason for pulling me over. >> That is a reason, sir. Don't make this more difficult than it has to be. I can't prove that without a driver. >> We not making it difficult. We're not even going to make it difficult. Period. >> I don't know why you're being so hostile right now. >> I'm not being hostile. How am I being hostile? Well, you were driving around in circles around the neighborhood. In this particular neighborhood, that's suspicious. >> Okay. Suspicious is not a crime. >> Not a crime, but suspicious, which gives us reason. >> It's not a crime. >> It gives us reason to pull you over, though. >> No, it doesn't. >> Suspicious activity does give reason to do a traffic stop. >> No, ma'am. You're incorrect on that. What's good, YouTube? It's BB Cass back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's videos from the Dallas Police Department over there in Texas where you had these Dallas Police officers pulled this guy over because they said that he was being suspicious. You had this guy that was driving his neighborhood, minding his own business, and then these officers decided to pull him over. And when this officer approached him, he said that, "Oh man, the person that's registered to this car has the same name as somebody that has a warrant. Can I get your ID?" Obviously, this guy wasn't going for it because he didn't commit no crimes. Hell, he didn't even commit a traffic infraction. Clearly, this traffic stop was very unlawful. And it's just simple the fact that this officer really pulled him over just to get his ID and this guy wasn't going for it. I'm going to watch you get my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. Let's get it to the video. >> ID on you. There's a there's a guy with a similar name to the red shirt owner to this car. >> No, that's not true. That's not true. >> What's not true? >> No, you don't need to see my ID for that. What'd you pull me over for? I'm trying to explain to you. There's a guy with the same exact name as a registered owner that has a warrant. So, I'm trying to confirm if it's you or not. >> No, it's not. >> You were going to let you. Well, I can't verify that without ID, sir. >> Well, you have no reason for pulling me over. >> That is a reason, sir. I just explained. >> First of all, you didn't even acknowledge who you are. >> I'm Dallas police. I don't have to acknowledge who I am. >> Okay. Yes, you do identify yourself. >> No. No, I don't. That's not any part of this. >> So, you're failing to identify. I >> I can tell you who I am. I'm officer Richardson with the Dallas Police Department. >> Okay. What's the badge number? >> 12490. >> Okay. And uh your partner, who is he? >> It's Officer Chavez. >> Okay. Now, you're pulling me over for what reason? >> The the registered owner, the name of the registered owner has a warrant. So, I'm trying to see if you are the person with the warrant. If you're not, we let you go. >> Okay. >> There's probable cause for a stop if the registered owner has a warrant. >> Well, I don't have a warrant. >> Okay. Well, I can't know that because you're not producing a driver's license. Well, I don't have to because I haven't committed a a traffic infraction. >> You do? >> What? What traffic infraction did I commit? >> A traffic stop. This has to do with the warrant and probable cause. If the >> I don't have a warrant. >> Sure. Don't make this more difficult than it has to be. I can't prove that without a driver. >> We not making it difficult. We're not even going to make it difficult. Period. >> I've only been with you. I don't understand why you're being so hostile. I >> I'm not being hostile. >> Okay. >> You're saying that this truck has a warrant and I know for sure that's not true. >> I said the registered owner of the truck. There's a person with the exact same name that has a warrant, but I can't see birthdays on on the vehicle registrations. So, if you don't have the same birthday as the person we're looking for, then I'll let you go. That's all it is. >> Okay. Well, you're going to let me go. Period. Because we going to get a supervisor out here. >> We can get a supervisor. That's fine. >> Okay. Call him. >> I got you. >> Let's go. >> All right. Hey, can you call cash out? >> I don't understand why you're being so hostile right now. >> I'm not being hostile. How am I being hostile? >> Officers will only say you're being hostile when you don't give them what they want. understand why you're being so hostile right now. >> I'm not being hostile. How am I being hostile? >> I'm just asking you questions >> and I've answered every one of your questions. >> Yeah, falsely. >> Nothing I've said is false, sir. >> Okay. >> Nothing I've said is false. Not a word of it. >> So, what makes this vehicle have a warrant? >> I I said the registered owner possibly has a warrant. Possibly. >> The names are identical. >> What's the name? >> He's got the name on the car. So, he's the one that looked at it. I can tell you here in a second. >> Okay. This is a very interesting stop. >> I don't know what's interesting about it. There's nothing interesting about it. >> Well, I can tell you what's interesting about it. What you just told me. >> We can pull people over if the if somebody has a warrant and the vehicle's registered to them. We're allowed to pull people over for that. >> Well, how do you know that the vehicle has a warrant when you haven't even seen a driver license? >> Say the vehicle has a warrant. I said the registered owner has a warrant. >> Okay. Well, >> I can't confirm that. Give me your driver's license. This is all I'm asking for. Let you go on your >> It doesn't work like that, Officer Ron. >> It does. >> No, sir. >> Okay. >> No, sir. >> No, sir. No, sir. No, it doesn't. >> Okay. >> You really pulled me over for no reason, really. >> I did not pull you. That's okay. >> Okay. >> All right, that's fine. You can talk to my supervisor when she gets out of here. >> Yeah, I will. How long you been on the Dallas Police Force? >> Three years. >> Three years. For three years. >> You're still a young officer? >> Sure. >> You're still a young officer? Sure. >> But this stop is just all wrong. >> Okay. >> I'm letting you know right now. >> Okay. >> Okay. Sounds good. >> Come on, Officer Richson. We're going to have to do better than this. >> Okay. I I don't think that anything I haven't been rude to you. I've only been cordial. I've explained why I stopped you. I've got a supervisor on the way just like you asked. >> Well, I didn't say you've been rude, but the stop is wrong. Okay, we'll see if the supervisor disagrees with me or not, but I've been doing this for a little bit. I kind of know what I'm doing. Do it every day. >> Well, okay. >> I'm sorry you think it's wrong and that's okay. >> Well, I know it's wrong. >> Okay. Okay. >> I know it's wrong and you know it's wrong. >> Okay. All right. We can agree to disagree and we'll let the supervisor work it out. >> Okay. >> Seems fair. >> No, I'm going to work it out. Not the supervisor. I'm going to work it out. >> Okay. You agree with that? >> That's We're going to just have to agree to disagree on that. >> Okay. You're going to disagree with that part. Okay. >> This isn't for you to work out. I don't know what you mean by that. >> What do you mean you don't know what I mean? >> I I don't know what you mean by you're going to work this out. I don't understand what you mean by that. >> Well, well, what did you mean when you said you're going to work it out? >> We're going to figure out with the supervisor. Figure out whether or not my stop is >> legitimate. Like, yeah. If you truly don't think it is, you can discuss it with my supervisor. I know it is. >> Well, when the supervisor gets here, what's going to happen then? Am I going to have a warrant? >> You can I don't know cuz you won't tell me your anything about you. You immediately are contesting the stop. I don't know your name. I don't know your date of birth. You won't give that to me. So, how am I supposed to >> Well, why would I give that to you when there's no crime that's been committed? >> This This is where you are. Okay. All right. >> Okay. If you can >> screen, let's just wait on the supervisors. You and I aren't going to on this. >> Okay. Do you have a reasonable articulate suspicion of anything? >> Yes. The registered owner has a warrant. >> Who's the registered owner? >> My partner has it pulled up. What's the name on the the registered owner? >> Thompson. >> Has a warrant. >> Correct. >> For what? >> Family violence, bodily injury. >> Oh, no. Absolutely not. A >> absolutely not. >> Okay. >> Absolutely not. >> All right. >> So, when did I have a warrant? When I circled you guys about three times, maybe. He was still running your plate. He ran your plate and then we put it through a database through Dallas County that popped up with a family violence warrant. I can't confirm the birthday on a registration, which is what I'm trying to do with you right now. >> A family violence warrant? Yes, sir. >> Absolutely not. >> Okay. I I can't verify that or not verify that because you're refusing to give me any information. >> Well, a crime hasn't been committed. >> It's not about a crime. This isn't a normal traffic stop. This is a probable cause stop because a person's reg the name on the registration matches a warrant which gives us the authority to conduct a traffic stop to confirm whether or not said person has a warrant if that's the person driving or not. I can't confirm that because you're refusing to give information. >> Well, how how old is the warrant? >> It's brand new. >> Absolutely not. That's absolutely false. >> Okay, we have the warrant up on our computer. I don't know what you mean by it's false. I don't know how you're able to look at >> Well, I don't know how you I don't know how you pulled a warrant up like that. >> Cuz we have systems that allow us to pull up, >> right? I understand your systems, but I don't know how you pulled it up cuz I don't have a warrant. >> Okay. How am I supposed to know that? >> Well, I'm not sure. How am I supposed to know that you being honest with me and telling me that you have >> What? Why would I lie? Why would I have any reason to lie? >> Okay. Well, I'm not sure why I'm being pulled over, though. I've explained it to you, >> but I'm not sure why I'm being pulled over. Period. We We passed each other before this stopped. We passed each other three or four times. >> We hadn't ran your plate yet. We hadn't ran your plate yet. So, that last time I passed you, we saw your plate. We're like, "Oh, it's odd. He's doing loops around the area. Let's just run the plate. See if there's anything that comes back to it." We run the plate. >> Okay. What was that for? Just cuz I'm riding around the area. You decided to run my plates? >> We can run anybody's plates. There's nothing illegal to because it's odd driving behavior when you're making circles in the area. >> No, it's not. I can drive around this neighborhood all I want to. >> You're 100% right. You're legally allowed. Exactly. I'm also legally allowed to run all the plates I see. There's nothing illegal about that either. I'm allowed to be able to say, "Hey, that's somewhat odd behavior. Let me run the plate." There's nothing illegal about it at all. At all. And nor did I say that was illegal. But when we ran the plate, we ran the name. >> Well, you said it was Well, you said it was odd that I'm riding around in circles. What's wrong with that? >> There's There's nothing wrong about it. >> But you said it was odd. >> It It is odd. Do you think if you see somebody driving circles around a block that that's somewhat strange? >> Okay. Well, I saw a guy walking on his hands the other day with a bottle on his feet. That's odd. >> That is odd. I agree with you. >> But I didn't stop to ask him what was he doing. >> Okay. >> Like I'm being done. >> Are you law enforcement? >> No, I'm not. >> Then why would you stop? >> Well, >> I kind of know my rights here. >> I got you. I'm not saying you don't know your rights. >> I kind I kind of know my rights here. >> Okay. So, >> you don't. >> So, this is a live stream, so let's just stay on the up and up, Richardson. >> That sounds good. I have no problem. You're allowed to record. There's nothing wrong with that. >> Absolutely. Absolutely. Chavez, what'd you find out? What' you see? Tell me. >> I see you in your vehicle. >> You know something? I'm not really in the mood for the sarcasm this morning. >> I'm not giving you any sarcasm. >> Well, was it you that ran my plates? Yes. >> Okay. What did you see? What did you find out? >> My partner explained it to you. >> No. Well, you ran the plates. Can you explain it to me? >> So, the register of this vehicle, right? >> Uh-huh. >> I ran it through the AIS. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Right. >> And this person with a certain first name, a certain last name popped up with an active warrant. >> Okay. And you cannot tell me who that name is. Can you tell me? >> Can you tell me your name? Listen, I asked you a question. I'm really not getting nowhere with you. I was getting I was getting somewhere with Rison, but not too much with you, though. >> My partner explained everything perfect to you. >> Well, no, he didn't. >> Yes, he did. >> How long you been doing this? >> Long enough. >> What's long enough? >> Long enough. >> You're not really a professional, Chavez. What's your badge number? 12453. >> You can just see on his face how bad he's itching for that ID. >> I I don't see 100% professionalism out of you. >> That's fine. You're entitled to your opinion. >> Yeah, I'm sure I am. >> It's not an opinion. >> Good morning to you. >> Good morning. I'm Sergeant Cashock. >> Yes, ma'am. Sergeant who? >> Cashock. >> Cashock. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Yes, ma'am. I've been pulled over by your two officers here. >> Mhm. They say for an active warrant >> and I'm trying to find out what's going on here because >> Okay. Well, >> I didn't do any driving infraction. So, I'm trying to find out why it is I'm being pulled over cuz my plates were ran. >> Okay. Well, they found out that the warrant's not for you. It's your same name. >> Oh. >> Okay. >> It's not for me. >> It's not for you. >> It's the same name, different date of birth. That's all. That's why I was asking for your ID so I could verify whether or not it was your date of birth. >> What's the date of birth? This doesn't make sense to me. on the guy with the warrant. It's It's not yours. We end up finding you on a different database. >> Oh. Oh. Oh. So now when the supervisor shows up, you find me. >> She was sitting right there when we found you. >> Okay. Why >> we were doing >> Well, why couldn't this have been done before you pulled up? >> Cuz I had to stand out here with you cuz you wouldn't give a driver's license. I had to wait for a supervisor to go up so I could go back to the computer and see if I could find you a different way. >> Even though he had the other officer that was right there with him. >> Find you a different way. >> Well, you do understand. I didn't have to produce a driver license, right? Huh? >> You do understand that. >> You have to understand what? >> That I didn't have to produce a driver's license cuz I didn't commit a crime. >> Or a driving infraction. >> Okay. Well, so they pull you were driving around in circles around the neighborhood. >> Is that correct or not correct? >> Yeah, I did a few blocks. >> Okay. So, in this particular neighborhood, that's suspicious. >> Okay. Suspicious is not a crime. >> Not a crime, but suspicious, which gives us reason. >> It's not a crime. It gives us reason to pull you over though. >> No, it doesn't. >> It does. >> No, it does not. >> Suspicious activity does give reason to do a traffic stop. >> No, ma'am. You're incorrect on that. >> I'm not going to stand here and argue with you. >> You don't have to. You don't have to because it's true. You're incorrect on that. >> Like I said, I'm not going to argue with you. >> You don't have to, Sergeant. I don't need an argument. What I need is truthfulness. >> It is truthful. >> No. I can drive around this neighborhood as long as I want to, as many times as I want to. And you can be stopped >> for what? >> For officers to question why you're driving around this particular area that you know has a high prostitution and high crime. >> High prostitution >> and high drug area. >> That you say I know it. >> You work at the school, correct? >> You say I know that though. >> I would believe that anybody who drove around here would understand that. >> Okay. Well, let me ask you this right here. Well, let me say this right here. Just because this area is high druginfested and prostitution infested, it has nothing to do with me. >> Okay. When you drive around in circles, you would expect >> it does not matter. >> Okay. >> It does not matter. >> Is there anything else I can help you with? You're obviously just going to argue with anything I say. So, >> what do you mean argue? I'm being pul I'm being pulled over for a false reason. >> It's not false. I'm telling you the truth. That's why you were stopped. And when they checked the name that corresponds with your license plate, they saw that there was an individual with the same name as you. >> You You're joking, right? >> No, I'm dead serious. And I looked at it myself. >> Okay. And what was the birth date? >> What was the name? >> Give the name is exactly the same as your name. >> Okay. What's my name? >> And I saw the picture of it. >> What's my name? >> I don't know your name. I just looked at the picture and looked at the You want me to remember your name? >> Okay. Does the picture look like me? >> Like I said, I'm not going to stand here and argue with you. Okay. So, what are you going to do then? What are you going to do? >> All right. Do you need anything else? >> Do you have a business card? >> No, I do not. Patrol does not carry business cards. Why would I give you a business card? >> If you'd like my name and badge number, I'll give you that. But I do not have business cards. Patrol officers do not give out business cards. >> You know something that's really unprofessional? >> What's unprofessional? >> That you don't have any business cards on you. >> No patrol officers carry business cards. >> Okay. Okay. >> Officer carry business cards >> in case of a matter like this. That's why in case of a matter like this. >> For what? >> For a false stop. >> It's not a false stop. And like I said, for what? You can call 911. You can go to the station. You can go to headquarters. ID. That has nothing to do with me having a business card. Like I said, if you would like my name and my badge number, I would happily write that down for you. >> Okay. Well, >> but I do not have a business card to give to you. Well, this stop has nothing to do with me. >> Okay. >> Do do you see do Officer Sergeant uh >> Cash >> Cash? I don't want to I don't want to butcher the name. Cash. >> Fine. >> Put yourself in my position, please. >> Okay. >> I know we got a brotherhood thing going back there. I know we do. >> There's no brotherhood. >> It's absolutely a brotherhood. >> What would you like me to do for you right now? >> You know something? I would like for you to reprimand your officers, but I know that's not going to happen. >> Reprimand them for what? >> Okay. What am I being pulled over for? >> I already explained that to you. >> Okay. Well, then you would have knew I would had they would have knew that I didn't have a warrant for my wrist for for this vehicle. >> How would they know that? >> Because I told them that. >> How would they know that before they pulled you over? >> Well, you got to ask them that. They the ones who ran the plates. >> You just said that they knew because they came and talked to you. They told me they knew >> after they stopped and saw you and figured it out when they were talking to me. >> You know something? You gave me a key piece of information. >> Help you anymore. >> No, actually. Okay. >> Am I free to go? Am I Am I being detained? Am I free to go? >> No. No. I'm here for you. >> Okay. Well, you didn't do Absolutely. >> No longer detained. >> You didn't do I wasn't detained in the first place. >> As you several times, what is it that I can do for you? >> Absolutely. Absolutely nothing. >> Recommend them. There is nothing for me to recommend them for. They are doing their job. They didn't do anything that they shouldn't be doing. You want to argue with me on the side of the street? >> I don't want to argue with you about anything. >> Okay. It >> What do you mean argue with you about the law? >> Free to go. >> Well, if I'm free to go, then I'm free to stay. >> True or false? >> You cannot stop right here on the street. >> Well, I I can pull I can pull right up there and park if I want to. It's nothing you can do. >> When you if you find a spot that you can legally park, that is fine. You can't. Trust me. We don't want to be standing here having this interaction with you. >> Okay. I can stand here. I can be here as long as I want. It's nothing you can do. Officer Cash, >> like I just said, if you're parked in a spot that you're legally allowed to park in, then yes, you're correct. You can sit there all you want to. >> Okay. So, >> okay. >> If I'm free to go, then I'm free to stay. >> I just told you you cannot stay right here in this spot. You cannot park here on the street. >> Oh, okay. >> You see the sign right there that says no parking at any time. >> Okay. You guys are That's That's a nice try. That's a nice try. >> A nice try for what? >> That's a nice try. You cannot park at any time. I got two police officers behind me. >> We're pulling you over on a traffic stop. >> Right. A false traffic stop. >> Is there anything else? >> No. No. >> Okay. >> A false traffic stop. I can stay right here if I want. >> I just explained to you that you can't. >> I can stay right here if I want. >> Is there anything else, sir? >> No. I've already told you no. You You didn't help me. myself parking in front of this side. >> You didn't help me at all. You didn't help me at all. >> There's nothing to help you with. >> Okay. Well, actually, actually, if I decide to leave, I'm going to make some more blocks cuz I know it's nothing that you can do. >> That's great. You have at it. Now that we know who you are and what you're doing out here. >> Oh, so, so, so, so now you know who I am. >> Now I know who you are. Yes. Who am I? And why is that? Because you >> Okay. So, who I didn't produce ID. So, who am I >> arguing with you? >> You don't have to. I didn't ask for argument. Y'all just going to block the driveway. Y'all just going to block the walkway? >> I hope you have a productive day. >> Y'all get the hell out of here, man. >> Hope you have a better day, >> man. Get your ass out of here. Go. >> Go. I'm not running nothing. >> Thank you, Cash. >> Leave it to officers to waste your time for no reason, but get mad when you want to waste their time. Because from the beginning, this officer wasted no time. He just wanted this man's ID. >> What's going on? >> ID on you. >> There's a there's a guy with a similar name to the registered owner to this car. >> No, that's not true. That's not true. >> Look at his face. He's so shocked that that guy wasn't giving up his ID. And then this officer really just admit why they even pulled him over. >> We run the plate. >> Okay. What was that for? Just cuz I'm riding around the area. You decided to run my plate? >> Because it's odd driving behavior when you're making circles in the area. >> No, it's not. And it's on when you have an officer following you, seeing everywhere you go. But leave it to the supervisor to always stick with their officers. >> Not a crime, but suspicious, which gives us reason. And >> it's not a crime. >> It gives us reason to pull you over, though. >> No, it doesn't. >> It does. >> No, it does not. >> Unfortunately, Texas is not a stop in ID state. You can't stop somebody, especially when there's no crime being committed. But that's my take on it, though. Let me know what y'all think about the comment section. And how you feel about these Dallas police officers for pulling this guy over first saying that it was suspicious for him to drive around and then you having this officer saying, "Well, you know, someone has a warrant that has the same name. Can I get your ID?" Obviously, this guy was not going for it. And these officers were acting very surprised that somebody wasn't giving up their ID. And then unfortunately, when you had a supervisor come just like any other supervisor, nine times out of 10, they always going to agree with their officers. And that was in this case right here. She was saying, "Oh yeah, they had every right to pull you over. You know, you're being suspicious. You were driving around. That's very suspicious." cuz even though driving around is not being suspicious at all. It is suspicious having somebody following you seen everywhere you go. And that's just in this case right here. That's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think by the comment section. Make sure to like, subscribe, and y'all have a wonderful day.
