God damn it. Or a 911 call will not be made. I was just involved in a 10-50. I had hit my lights and coming through the damn intersection. The car was absolutely freaking flying on 5th Street. Went to hit my lights and boom. I'm telling you he was flying. Had to be. That's not a 30 mile an hour hit. I didn't know if I could ask you to I don't want to talk about it. I didn't think that you would. That's why I didn't even ask. I just thought he doesn't seem to be stopping. So I hit the brakes and then all I saw was him just come straight through and didn't know if I >> lights or lights on? Yeah, I don't think so. And we had like just basically passed through this intersection and like I just saw it out of the corner of my eye like kind of like confused me. Yeah, and you really barely see him. His lights were not on. His lights were not on. >> Correct. Okay. My emergency lights were not on. Pretty sure my lights were on. I can't guarantee it. Okay. So I'm going to say He says your lights weren't on. What's good YouTube? It's BB cast back in with another video and another reaction. And in today's video it's going to Centralia Police Department over there in Illinois where you had the Centralia Police Officer Sergeant Perry get into an accident because he was responding to a call. You will see in this video that Sergeant Perry was passing them stop signs, didn't have his lights on at all. And when he got to the last stop sign, that's where you see this accident occur. And then after the accident, that's where you see where this officer just started contemplating saying, "Oh man, I messed up." It was his fault. He was driving too fast. This officer was saying everything instead of telling the guy that he hit that he was sorry. I'm going to watch it and get my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get into the video. GOD DAMN IT. 911 ASSIST IS SET TO OFF. THEREFORE, a 911 call will not be made by SYNC. Strager 74. 74 roger. I was just involved in an I got him. I got him. I got Go check on the other one. 374 your location. I'm 5th and Elm. Had an active 10-16 to go to and I had to hit my lights and it's my fault. 473 is 10-60 on 463 code. No, it's not, dude. Don't don't say sorry. Yep. I hit my lights and was coming through the damn intersection. I don't know if it'll register though. And a car was absolutely freaking flying on 5th Street at Elm. We had an active 10-16. And it I I didn't even see it. So. Yep. So, the truck I I think it's done recoverable. Uh it's scraped up. I don't know. Marion County. God damn it. Like I said, I I literally just left the intersection of 5th and Elm or 5th and Locust and hit the gas, went to hit my lights, and boom. Guess I didn't hit them quick enough. I mean, the backs are on, but the fronts aren't, so I don't know if it's going to be my fault or not. Either way, it's my fault. I mean, I don't think the other guy had any stop signs. Okay. Sorry. I just I needed you to know I'm not injured. He said he he said he's he's got a mark on his arm um and he said the airbag hit him, but um he said he doesn't think he's going to need to go. We're getting the EMS to check him out. Okay. Okay. Truck's currently in the lot at Prudential. I'll call for a tow. Okay. Oh, yeah. Let them do their thing. Yeah. I'm sorry. Yeah, 5th and M. I was on 5th Street. All right. Bye. I'm good. Sure. Yeah, I'm not pissed off than anything. >> I know. I know you are. Now, this guy's not even an officer. I'm not sure why Sergeant Perry muted his body camera to talk to him. What's your name, brother? Chad Johnson. You guys called me back. Sorry, could you give it to me again, dude? Your middle initial? Thank you. Hello. You have my number? I'm fine. You want to look at him? Do what? I'm fine if you want to look at him. Oh, here you go. Yeah, I'm It's on your lens that dripped off. I did. Was it all scratched up? Not really. No, they're pretty indestructible. All right. That's cool. Yeah, I don't know if my front lights kicked. Um We were going to an active 10-16, so I hit the lights and then I took off and Oh, we're good. Yeah, I think she's done. It's great. I'll probably get fired over this one. You're in leaking I'm sure I will. It's okay. I'll at least get it suspended. Do you need anything? Um I don't Just just fire me now. We'll get it done. Get it Get it Get it done with. I'm I'm Do you want me to leave all this up? The accident. Okay. Technically okay. I'm fine. I'll see you guys in the car. >> Yeah. Well, no, the one was driving this red truck. He was in a car. Yep. I'm telling you he was flying. Mhm? Whatever that car is. He was flying. Had to be. That's not a 30 mph hit. It's hard to tell we kind of hit each other. I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to talk about it. He's trying to slide in that the other guy was speeding, but yeah, he doesn't want to talk about him running a stop sign. I don't want to talk about it. Because whatever happens happens. What's going on? So, I have I can get things so the guy in the black Uh-huh. I see he was in the BMW. The guy in the red, he was in that truck. He didn't get hit, but he witnessed everything. >> The the red one? Okay. Ranger. And then obviously So, I can get I have everybody's information. Oh, you have got everybody's? Other than Terry's, of course, but I mean >> You want us? Otherwise, I can I can go write it down real quick if you want it so that way you can get You got everybody's information? It's on the computer, so I don't know what I'm talking to. Got you. I saw him coming and the first thing that I thought was he looks to be going a little faster than to stop. Like I didn't think anything. I just thought he doesn't seem to be stopping, so I hit the brakes and then all I saw was him just come straight through and hit him. Um my truck's okay, though. Okay. I just didn't know if I had to stick >> or lights on? Um honestly, I don't think so. Sure. But I'm not 100% sure. Okay. Okay. Off the top of my head, I want to say no, but I also don't want to say that and Yeah. be wrong. Hey. Talk to the deputy here. You guys do your thing. Yep. Hey, I'm Sergeant Parker with Meriwether Sheriff's Office. You were in the truck? I was in You were in the BMW? Yes, I was in that truck. Okay. Can you tell me what happened? I mean, basically we were just going down this way and I saw the corner of my eye >> You were southbound on uh Elm? Yes. Um >> Or northbound, sorry. And we had like just basically passed through this intersection and like I just saw it like out of the corner of my eye like coming through and it kind of like confused me. Like cuz there's like I thought for a second like did I run a stop light or something? And then I got >> So that he was coming from right on Fifth Street? Yeah, he went through basically over here and I was going here and then yeah, I like I didn't even know if I could barely see him and then he hit me. So like his lights were not on. His lights were not on? >> Correct. Okay. Like the emergency lights were not on. Okay, do you have your driver's license and your uh proof of insurance? >> I have insurance, but I forgot my wallet. I was actually going to where my work to try to get it, but like my license isn't suspended or anything. No, I can get your name if you can get your insurance. >> Yeah, I do. You got it on your phone? I do. Let me grab my phone real quick so I can take picture of it, okay? And I'll get you a card. Do you have a uh tow preference? I don't have a like it doesn't really matter Hey, can you tell me what happened? Just coming east on Fifth. Pretty sure my lights were on. I can't guarantee it. Can't guarantee >> an active 10-16 I was responding to. Um like I said, I was coming this way. I thought I hit him. Can't guarantee it. So Okay. >> So I'm going to say >> He says no, your lights weren't on. The other guy he says he doesn't think they were on. Yeah. Like I said, I we literally just got the call and I didn't see him and Got you. I hadn't hit him over yet. >> So, you were heading eastbound, right? On 5th. I was I was 5th and Locust. I stopped at the stop sign there. I was coming across. We got the call about the time that I hit um as I came across Poplar. About the time that I hit Poplar, we got the call. Okay. >> And active 10-16. 10-16. Okay. About the time that I crossed Poplar is when we got the the call for the >> active 10-16. And Like I said, I remember slowing down, but I know I I I don't know if I stopped or not. Whenever he does wrong, for some reason, he doesn't remember it. >> know if I stopped or not. I don't know if I stopped. >> at 10-16. Right. Okay. Let me get you guys Trent, I'll get you one of our cards with the report number and The sign. Perfect. Who wants the uh accident report? It's like Jesus Christ. I want to read something. I can't see. You're old. Too old. Fat. >> Yeah, you're old. So, he's going to be listed as at fault. Yeah. He says he doesn't know if he stopped at the stop sign so he didn't know if his lights were on. I believe his lights probably weren't on after speaking with those two. I mean, they're running now. So, I would assume they would have kept going after impact and it stopped after that. >> That's kind of what I thought. They would kick on after impact. We'll get this back to the PD and it should upload. Perfect. Can you share it with me on evidence? Yeah, you'll have access to it. We'll just share it with you. We'll We're We're already I thought I thought so. And yes, actually I don't know if you'll need that case number, but you can just label reference I think you can just reference that case number when you share it. I'm not sure. I've not shared one inter-agency yet. Okay. Yeah, I can I can do that once it gets uploaded. Um I don't know. So, he's going to be listed as the at-fault driver. Okay. So, he was he was obviously in the wrong, so he'll be listed as the at-fault driver. This is the card. You can You can either get on crashdocs.org uh to get the copy of the police report or you can give it to your insurance agency, okay? And they'll just go to this crashdocs.org and enter the case number, okay? Okay. So, do I end up claiming this on my insurance then? Like how >> No, but you're going to You're still going to need a copy of the insurance to give to your Okay, I got you. Got the accident report to give to your insurance. >> Okay. I so I just tell most people just give them the card and they can deal with it. Okay. So, I don't have a flashlight. Could I Could we maybe walk over there just to verify my truck was untouched? Yep. All right. Cuz I I don't >> behind him? No, we were we were side by side. >> Okay. And I was coming up next to him and I just saw him and for a moment I My brain was just like, he's moving a little too fast. Stop. Let's hit the brakes. Yeah. So. 25, Smithy's is on scene. You got to do you, bub. What is it? July? 4 months. Looks less than 6. >> Yeah. That happens. Yep. Don't sweat it. For anybody that doesn't know, that's Lieutenant Reitner with the Centralia PD on the left. And although Sergeant Parker had his body camera muted at first, we can safely assume that they were all discussing Sergeant Perry's license being 4 months expired at the time when you hear Lieutenant Reitner exclaim, "Well, it's less than 6 months. Happens." As long as you're in Centralia and your license is less than 6 months expired, you're fine. Or is that just for the brothers in blue? Now, this is directly from Sergeant Parker's report. I have reviewed the dash camera and no lights were on and Sergeant Perry proceeded into the intersection at about 20 miles per hour and hit unit two. Sergeant Perry's driver's license was also expired at the time of the crash. A citation was issued for failure to yield the right of way and expired driver's license and will be given to Sergeant Perry once I can meet up with him. >> you he went to go get his license renewed after this because right after the accident happened, he wants to say that this guy was speeding. That car was absolutely freaking flying on 5th Street at Elm. We had an active 10-16. That's not a 30 mile an hour hit. I mean, I'm not an expert on crashes, but when you hit somebody from the side, that's going to cause some serious damages. But when it came down to what he did wrong, for some reason he didn't want to talk about it. Yeah, I didn't know if I could ask you. I don't want to talk about it. Huh? I don't want to talk about it. I didn't think that you would, that's why I didn't even ask. Yeah, he doesn't want to talk about him running through those stop signs and the fact that he was trying to lie and say that his lights was on and then saying, "Oh, I don't know if they were on." Just goes to show that he was really trying everything he could to make it look like he was in the right. >> Clearly see him. His lights were not on. His lights were not on. >> Correct. Okay. Uh emergency lights were not on. Pretty sure my lights were on. I can't guarantee it. He says no, your lights weren't on. The other guy's When it came to that guy, he wants to say that he was speeding and everything. When it comes to him, for some reason he just I don't know. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. You having this sergeant saying, "Well, you know, I thought I think I have my lights on. Actually, you know what? I don't know, but he was speeding. Like he was not going 30 miles an hour." But whenever it came to him, for some reason, "Oh, I don't know. Oh, I don't know." And even when the other cop was trying to ask him about what happened, he wants to say, "Oh, I don't want to talk about it." Like I said, let a civilian say that. And he was so worried that he was going to get fired. All he had to do was just pay those two tickets and he still kept his job. Hopefully he was able to hopefully he got his life Hopefully he got his license renewed, but that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day.
