The the amount of time you've been serving as a law enforcement officer. >> No, it does not matter. >> Does not matter. >> It doesn't matter from day one. >> No, doesn't give the same powers by the state. So, it doesn't matter. So, you don't care that you're a cop from day one? >> Yeah. You're a cop from the minute you're certified. >> And when we get that power, that's when we start abusing it. >> Cuz we're all given the same powers by the state. So, it doesn't matter. >> So, you don't care that you're a cop from day one? >> Yeah. You're a cop from the minute you're certified. So, it doesn't matter how long you >> Yeah. But I I I want to know. I think that's that's that's an experience on on when you when you decided to serve. Are you Are you saying time doesn't matter? >> No, I'm saying it's a public record. I I I I know law enforcement for 20 20 plus years. So, I'm going by an experienced thing. This is I see what you guys are doing. You know what I'm saying? But uh yeah, I'm I'm not used to to that sort of >> what sort of what? >> Uh I mean you guys are new, so I guess I should be. >> I'm definitely not new, man. >> No, we're not new. >> Well, the way you guys are coming up at me, I mean, >> kind of hostile. >> How? >> You guys, come on. I'm I'm trying to make sure everybody's safe. You're you're cop. >> You know what I did? I I walked around here. What if What if >> So, >> you needed help. You know what I'm saying? And you were yelling, "Help me. Help me." And I'm just walking back here. >> Which I I would respect that. You see that? >> Found it. >> Oh, yeah. It doesn't It doesn't matter to you, huh? That's what's scary. >> It's an American flag. >> You You don't care about it, do you? >> Oh, I absolutely do care about it. >> Okay. Well, now >> are you Are you on something, Scott? >> Are Are you guys You just said You said it's an American flag. Who cares about it? And I asked. >> I didn't say who cares about it. >> Yeah. I'm not trying to get technical tonight. What do you guys What do you guys got What do you guys got going on after this? >> So, we're doing construction. So, we need you to properly ID yourself. So we need your first name initial. >> You're going with obstruction. >> You flash your flashlight. Now we need your ID. >> So we need your first name initial. >> You're going with obstruction. >> 100%. So you need to identif >> What is your >> Okay. Okay. Could you could you could you uh articulate how I obstructed? >> Yes. So when there is a law enforcement officer on a traffic stop, correct? you coming and impeding on that truck? >> What What exactly did I do that's impeding? If I'm looking in plain view, I'm looking in plain view. >> You came right up to my my car with shining your light in it. >> Is there a problem with me shining a light? >> Came around to my door. >> Yes, there is. >> Why? >> You can't be impeding on someone. >> A light is is impeding. >> Okay. No. When he's taking law enforcement action on a traffic stop, >> okay, you can't be going up and interrupting his law enforcement action. >> He got out the car. He He got out the car >> approaching me. >> He got out the car. Listen. Okay. If If I'm walking past a vehicle like this and I and I and I do this, can I not do that? Is that illegal? Because you're a law enforcement officer. >> What's your name and date of birth? >> Full name and date of birth. >> Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen. I I >> Scott, I am this close to taking you to jail, man. Like, not even kidding. >> You want to spend the night in the jail? >> You got I listen I get obstruction every week. >> Okay. You want to spend another night in jail? Be my guest, man. >> Listen, man. I'm going to keep suing the city. And you know, I'm going to donate a park. You know, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to donate a next generation park. >> That's great, man. That's awesome. >> Full name of birth. >> Provide it. >> Well, >> you have to provide it. >> All right. >> You're not going to provide it. >> I listen. Turn around. No. No. No. No. No. Stop reaching. Stop reaching. You guys are crazy. >> Detained. >> We're taking the phone because you don't want to follow basic instructions. >> How bad do you have to be in your feelings to be upset at somebody for flashing a flashlight? And then you having this deputy be a crybaby. >> You thought it was okay to come obstruct a traffic stop. Why? >> Obstruct. >> Yeah, you you stopped me from doing >> Where's the obstruction? >> Shining a flashlight back my car. >> And this is how y'all know they all got fragile egos. Even the other officers saying, "Hey, man. If it was me, I would been took you to jail." No, we could take you to jail for this, right? So, we're just trying >> for for obstruction. Are you actually going to >> 100%. But if it was me, I'd be taking to jail today. >> What's your experience like? >> I don't need to share that with you. >> Obviously, his experience ain't that much. And clearly, they're feeding for that ID if you flash your flashlight at him. >> What are you guys doing? >> Obstruction. So, we need you to properly ID yourself. So, we need your first name initial. >> You're going with obstruction. >> I listen. Turn around. No. No. No. No. No. Stop reaching. Stop reaching. >> You flash a flashlight. you're basically a convicted felon. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section how you feel about the Truent County Sheriff deputies for arresting this guy for flashing his flashlight. And it's just crazy because these officers clearly have fragile egos because they want to say, "Hey man, you flash your flashlight up. Give us your ID. We going to take you to jail." Even having another officer saying, "Hey man, if it was me, I would have been took you to jail." And it just goes to show how a lot of these cops can easily get offended, especially over a flashlight, because he could have just been like, "Oh f, okay, just go on about his day." Now you having this officer get in his feelings and start being a crybaby over it because this guy was flashing his flashlight. That's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day.
