Traffic stop. What's going on? >> Well, he said I was speeding. All right, here he comes. >> I just need you to sign that for me, sir. Just acknowledge in the ticket, okay? >> Hi officer. >> This is my attorney. >> I don't need to talk to your attorney right now, sir. I just need you to sign the ticket for me, okay? And hand that back to me. >> Well, before before my client signs anything, officer, we want to make sure we understand exactly what what the ticket is. I I'm just trying to make sure he understands what he's signing first, okay? >> Yeah, sir, I'm all set. All right, this is a traffic ticket for speeding. Have a good day. You're all set. Please drive safe. >> He didn't make me sign it. You just took it back. >> He really needs to like you shouldn't be signing anything from a police officer until you understand exactly what you're signing. >> He didn't identify how he tracked my speed. He didn't circle radar or AC. >> Yeah, I mean he just like came to the window, threw it in your car, basically, and walked away. It was kind of unprofessional. >> Yeah, I asked him a very simple question. >> I don't take those tests. >> You don't? >> No. >> I invoke my fifth amendment right. Sir, >> put your car in park. >> I got to go. >> You're not going to. >> Yes, sir. >> What the Where are you coming from? >> I'm driving to live. >> This is not a traffic stop. >> It is actually a traffic stop. >> Answer this door or we're going to kick the door in. >> Y'all getting in trouble for kicking my door in. >> Please. Thanks for paying your taxes. >> I need your ID. >> Is that an arrest? >> Do I need to? >> You can look from the wall. Let's unviolate my rights. >> What's good, YouTube? It's BBK back again with another video and another reaction. And in today's video, what's cops running fast when they see that attorney on the line. In this video, this guy got pulled over, so he used attorney shield and called up an attorney. And when this officer saw that he had an attorney on the line, this officer hurried up with that ticket. He hurried up so fast, he didn't even put down how he caught this guy speeding or anything. He just wrote him a ticket, put his name on it, said, "Here, sign it." Like he was really trying to go fast about this ticket. And it just goes to show, when officers see that attorney, man, they tuck their tails and get to running. I'mma watch you get my reaction. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Let's get into the video. >> Hey, uh traffic stop. What's going on? >> Well, he said I was speeding. Uh said I was going 45 in a 25. So, I've given the officer my license, registration, and he's back at his car. I'm sure running my info. >> Okay. All right. It's just that one that one charge that he's that he pulled you over for? >> Yes. >> Okay. Uh are there any issues with your license? Is any Is anything uh expired? Do you have any uh outstanding tickets or things like that? >> Uh no. I shouldn't. >> Okay. >> I I can't remember the last time I had a ticket. >> Did you uh Did he ask you any questions about, you know, how fast you thought you were going or anything like that? Did you admit anything? >> No, he just made a statement. Just said uh you know, the reason I pulled you over is it's 25 miles an hour back there. I clocked you at 45. Can I see your license and registration, please? >> Okay. All right. Um >> So, I haven't admitted to anything. Um just a brief interaction with me giving him my license and registration. >> Okay. And really just you don't have to say anything or answer questions. And if you need if you need to, you can tell him that I'm here as as your attorney to if there's any kind of like legal questions or things that he's trying to dig into. Um >> Yeah. Well, it's my birthday today. Maybe he'll give me a break on my birthday. >> No, I hope so. Happy birthday. >> Thank you. We'll see. >> Not off to a good start so far, but there's still time There's still time. >> Yeah, I don't know. We'll see if he writes me a ticket. >> Yeah. >> Or if he gives me a warning. He's spending a lot of time in the truck, so. >> Yeah, okay. >> Are you in Florida? >> No, I'm in Maine. Um I'm originally from Maine and I have a house up here and I'm just uh up here for a couple weeks for work and um I'm actually uh on my way down to my sister-in-law's to uh pick up some lobster for my birthday. >> Ah, here you go. >> Yeah. >> Nice. All right. Yeah, I just saw that you have a Florida driver's license, so um you know, it maybe because you're out of state, he's it's taking a little longer for him. Um >> Yeah, I don't know. The car I'm driving is registered in Maine. It's my son's car, but my license obviously is in Florida. >> Okay. Are you carrying right now? I see that you have a concealed carry. >> No, not right now. >> All right. >> All right, here he comes. >> Okay. If there's anything you need me to, just tell him you want to consult with me. >> Yep. >> Sir, I need you to sign your name to receive the ticket right there, okay? >> Oh, you're going to give me a ticket on my birthday? >> Uh is it your birthday? Yeah, it is your birthday, isn't it? >> Yeah. >> Just need you to sign that for me, sir. Okay? Just acknowledge in the ticket, okay? It's 20 over the speed limit, sir. It's a little bit much. >> Officer, is there any Hi, officer. >> This is my attorney. >> Uh I don't I don't need to talk to your attorney right now, sir. I just need you to sign the ticket for me, okay? And hand that back to me. >> Well, before before my client signs anything, officer, we want to make sure we understand exactly what I have my what the ticket is? >> Can I have my pen and my witness? >> Sir, I Sir, I can't hear you cuz of the traffic noise. >> Okay. I I'm just trying to make sure he understands what he's signing first, okay? >> Yeah, sir, I'm all set. All right, this is a traffic ticket for speeding, sir. There's two copies here. One copy's yours, the other copy's a mail-in copy. There's instructions on the back if you want to contest that, okay? This is your copy. >> Man, he's sure trying to hurry up real quick. >> copy. There's instructions on the back if you want to contest that, okay? This is your copy, sir. Have a good day. You're all set. Please drive safe. >> So, he didn't make me He didn't make me sign it. He just took it back and just gave me copies. So, I didn't I didn't sign anything. >> I Yeah, I I mean, he really needs to like you shouldn't be signing anything from a police officer until you understand exactly what you're signing. So, if you got copies of everything, that's that's okay. I mean, he was trying to get you to acknowledge like receipt of it. Um he really should have explained exactly what it was. Like is there a court date, you know, that kind of thing. I know a lot of the information's probably contained on the ticket, but you know, he just said 20 over the speed limit. Um I just want to make sure I don't know what exactly he was putting before you to sign. You know what I mean? He just said, "Sign this." So, >> Yeah, he just said, "This is your ticket. 45 in a 25. The amount due is $230. I've got his name on the ticket." >> Does it have a date by which you got to respond? I wanted to make sure that you didn't sign anything that admitted that you were speeding in case you want to contest this cuz that's a large fine. >> He didn't identify how he tracked my speed. He didn't circle radar or AC or laser or clock. >> I can't see the whole thing, but it could be a defect uh in the ticket that could be dismissable if he you know if he was just eyeballing it and he doesn't show up in court then you know the the case could be dismissed, but I don't know what transpired exactly, you know. >> But I just I don't see anywhere on here where it tells me what the court date is. I mean uh you just did a terrible job explaining. >> Yeah, I mean he just like came to the window threw it in your car basically and walked away, you know. It was kind of unprofessional in my opinion, but I mean I I asked him a very simple question, you know. Um yeah. I I I I I guess just go through it carefully. I mean if there are different documents just make sure you check on it because usually there's a place that you have to return it by or some places say just pay online now and it just becomes like a transaction, but if you're going to contest it just be careful. Um He didn't even he he he he wouldn't he just kind of like wanted to walk away, you know. Um >> Yeah, well I mean my thing looking at the ticket just making an observation is that there's no there's no indication at all on how how he identified that my alleged speed was 45. >> Right. Right. >> He he doesn't He doesn't say that he got it with radar, he doesn't say he got it with AC, he doesn't say he got it with a laser, and he doesn't say that he clocked me. There's nothing at all. It's He wrote down a two in the violation number alleged 45 legal 25. Then he was supposed to circle one of the options of how he identified that speed. Then he didn't circle the title number. He didn't circle the section number, and he just wrote the fine of $230. >> Yeah. Yeah, you might be able to contest that. And and you didn't sign it um I don't know that I don't think that's I don't know why he just walked away like that, but you can you could bring it up and and see if you can get some, you know, a reduced charge or something there possibly. >> Yeah. Well, I don't know. We'll see. I should have told him it was my birthday when I handed in my license. >> I don't think that guy was going to be friendly no matter what. >> Mhm. Okay. Well, we'll contest it and see see what happens. Go from there, I guess. >> All right. Well, good luck with that. Thanks for being a member uh and have a good birthday. Have some good Have some good lobster, man. >> He forgot to put a lot of things on that ticket. He sure didn't forget to put the price on it because he was definitely trying to make this interaction so fast. >> Yeah. >> Just need you to sign that for me, sir. Okay? Just acknowledge in the ticket, okay? It's 20 over the speed limit, sir. It's a little bit much. >> I officer >> This is my attorney. >> I don't need to talk to your attorney right now, sir. I just need you to sign the ticket for me. >> I don't need to talk to your attorney. Don't worry about reading the ticket. Just sign it real quick. And then when the attorney asked him about what's this ticket about, he wants to say, "You know what? Never mind. He ain't got to sign it." >> Well, before before my client signs anything, officer, we want to make sure we understand exactly what I have my >> Yeah. Sir, I'm all set. All right, this is a traffic ticket for speeding, sir. This is your copy, sir. Have a good day. You're all set. Please drive safe. >> He was definitely trying to get out of dodge, especially since he didn't even write down how he caught this guy's speed. Like he was literally trying to hurry this up, especially when he saw that attorney. >> Officer, I don't know what exactly he was putting before you to sign. You know what I mean? He just said sign. >> He didn't identify how he tracked my speed. He didn't circle radar or AC or laser. >> Yeah, he was definitely trying to hurry up with that ticket. But that's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. How do you feel about this police officer for pulling this guy over for speeding? But yeah, he didn't even write down how he caught this guy speeding. Like he was really trying to hurry up with this ticket and was trying to hurry up and have this guy sign the ticket. But luckily he had that attorney right there. And when he saw he had that attorney, he said, "Oh, no, you know what? Never mind. Don't don't don't sign it. Give it back to me. Uh here's your copy. Bye." He was really trying to get out of dodge, especially when he saw that attorney on the line. But even like what the attorney said, he was trying to have him sign something but not even explaining what he was trying to get him to sign. He just said, "Here you go. Bye." That's the thing with all these police officers, man. They really do try to take advantage of people and they get so upset when they have that attorney on the line. And that's why it's so good to have these apps like Attorney Shield and any other apps you know you can have to where you could get in contact with a lawyer for like traffic stops or even when a cop is at your door because they love taking advantage of people. That's my take on it though. Let me know what y'all think about in the comment section. Make sure to like and subscribe and y'all have a wonderful day.
