This is what you're doing. >> Do you have a flight? >> Please. If you have a flight, you got to wait. >> If you do not have a flight, >> this is what I'm doing. This is what they're doing. I'm even pulling on my pants. Can you leave me alone? Can you stop embarrassing me that I need to talk to my husband and buy a ticket? Is that a crime, too? >> Where do you want me to go to? There's no prison. I've done your prison. I've done your prison four times. >> Every [music] attempt at deescalation failed to produce any meaningful progress because she seemed far more interested in prolonging the confrontation than resolving it and moving on with her life. By that point, the officers knew that they were dealing with someone determined to make a bad situation much worse. >> Four times for my brother to back up. Let me tell you yourself. I've done it four times and it's not trespassing. They told me not to go to >> Where's your ID? >> My ID? >> I need to see your ID. >> Where is my handbag? That's why I'm calling my ID >> now. So, as long as I hear him. >> The officers could already tell that a simple conversation was unlikely to yield much progress. While they still hoped that she would choose to cooperate, they were simultaneously preparing alternative options to bring the situation under control if she continued pushing back. >> That's what I came for. They're harassing me. I don't even have a home. Where are you taking me to? Then I don't have to go back to Nigeria. My two pass was you stole it in prison. While detention and arrest seemed like the most straightforward solution, her behavior suggested the situation went beyond simple criminal enforcement. The officers began to wonder whether she needed more than handcuffs. Yeah. You want to use my children? Look at Legos. Look at what my car. This is what they do to me. All of us commit suicide. All of us stay for one year. I wonder that's 11:23. Delicious. You're acting like >> You want to talk to me? We'll start. You can talk to me. Listen, stop crying and just tell me what's up real quick. Okay, I'll help you out if I can. I'm not going to be mean to you. I'm not going to be a jerk, but you got to tell me what's wait. Honey, I can't I can't I can't understand you if you're crying. >> The officers [music] quickly realized that their usual approach wasn't getting anywhere. They wanted to make progress. They would have to adjust their coping mechanisms and practically babysit a grown [music] adult while trying to keep the situation from spiraling further out of control. >> Give me an idea. Where are you guys going? Did you travel together? >> I'm going to Buffalo. Yeah. He has my place. I can't. >> Are you guys married? No. >> Just boyfriend and girlfriend. Okay. And you're going to Buffalo together. And now what happened? Were you fighting before you came to the airport or it started here? >> It started here. >> Why? >> First off, we got kicked off the first plane. Why? >> And then because of an altercation, the girl thought she heard him say something and then that altercation happened. >> A girl like the employee. >> Yeah, the employee. Then he started screaming and then we came here and he got a text message from somebody that said I was doing something and he wanted to believe it and hit me and something wrong with his phone. >> So he wanted to believe some stupid >> something on his phone. >> Yeah. That you were doing something wrong but you are the manager. >> He has >> he has everything. >> Okay. So So then he started to accuse you of whatever nonsense and it wasn't true. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then what? And he was in my face. >> Okay. And then you were arguing back and forth after that. >> No, that's what I screamed when I got >> Oh, you were screaming because he was up in your face. >> No, cuz he hit me in the face with the phone. >> With the phone? Okay. >> I don't care. >> Wait, hold on. Babe, don't yell because here's the thing. When you guys were going there to Buffalo, you want to see your people or his people? >> We live together in your apartment. We live >> up there or down here? >> In Buffalo. You and him live together in Buffalo. >> So, you're going home. >> You're not going to see somebody. >> Okay, here's the thing. If you guys if forget what he's doing right now, >> you have to remain calm and be chill or they're not going to let you fly. >> So, like don't yell over there. Don't like get like with it like right >> just listen to him real quick. Why are we here again though? >> No, we just heard we here because we had a disagreement. That's it. You feel me? Then we was talking. We just keep having a we sitting there chilling talking. You feel me? But it's people keep calling us telling that my girlfriend is chilling over. You get what I'm saying? And she telling me that she not whatever. And I believe her. I just want to get home. I really want to get home. I don't know what happened. The wife says, "I couldn't tell you." Sorry. >> You feel me? I love her. She love me, too. Why you think we here together? >> You can't seem to feel me. >> Okay. >> How you doing, my friend? What's your boarding pass for a second? >> Give him the board. >> Wait, you cancel my advice? Um, >> we'll see. >> Please, sir. I'm trying to get home, sir. >> Well, the thing is, >> please, sir, >> it seems like you already had issues in a different area. >> We didn't have no issues. We only We just This the first time something really happened right here. We've been talking the whole time together. The whole time. >> I need to You're covering up the ID. >> Oh, I'm sorry. You feel me? I could call my mom. Everything. We even came on a trip together. Us two. I'm the deal here. I'm older than her. You get what I'm saying? I'm always aart. I just bought us new flights to get home together. She don't have a dollar. You get what I'm saying, bro? What you want? Mine or hers? >> You feel me, bro? I just want to sit on the plane and get on and by my You feel me? Go get home, bro. >> I got to go to work. >> All right. So, obviously >> y'all are having talking crazy. She talking about acting crazy, bro. She don't know where in the airport. I got you. I never Come on now, babe. >> Let me have her stuff. >> Her boarding pass. >> I pay for this. >> It doesn't matter. >> After all the shenanigans, the officers finally put two and two together. We came up with a practical approach to deal with both individuals and bring the situation under control. >> Just listen to him real quick. So, this is where we're at. You and him have a ticket to leave. >> Bravo. Go ahead. >> This is your passport, correct? >> Yes, we are. Thank you. >> Yes, we are. >> You've been trying to get out of here all day, right? Any more interaction with us? They're going to cancel all of your tickets and then you're going to have to go to Miami. >> That's why she's telling her >> this is the last place you can actually fly out of at this time. You understand what I'm saying? What I'm saying is we're going to give you a chance to get on your plane and leave. But no more dramatics. No more dramatic. >> Nobody was being [ __ ] dramatic. >> Ma'am, I'm noting hit in the [ __ ] You're not acting dramatic. I'M TIRED OF LETTING this little slide embarrassing us throughout the whole >> Here's the thing, man. You were talking to me a second ago. That's not the way you were talking to me. >> Yeah, because he came in here. >> I'm going to walk away. >> I'm going to walk away. I'm I'm going to walk away. >> You were talking to me very calm. >> So, let's remain that way. >> Let's remain that way. Look at me. >> Okay, I'll be calm. Let's keep on talking about this person that I always let slide everything crazy. >> I feel you, but let's keep it classy. You >> [ __ ] forget him talking about you right now. Let's keep it classy because you know what? If he acts stupid and he wants to get whatever up in here, they're going to tell him, "All right, you're not flying, sir. That doesn't mean you can't fly. You're not attached to him. At this point, you have your own ticket, your whole thing in your hand, right? >> You got to be chill and just stay to yourself." >> No, I I can't I I can't go on the left. I have to go to work. I can't go I didn't even get kicked off the plane. >> What's your final decation? >> I cannot I didn't even get kicked off the first. >> Okay. See what just happened? >> They said that. >> No. See what just happened? You're going to go on the next one. >> You're going to go on the next one and they're going to bump him. That way you don't argue on the plane. That way you don't have to put up with him. You don't have to look at him. You don't have to deal with him. You're going to fly on the next flight. He's going to get bumped to the one after that. Okay? Like I said, you just keep it cool. Don't play into the games. The bull you start yelling. I DIDN'T DO THAT. You did it to yourself. >> If you start yelling, what did I just say? If you start yelling at him and get whatever, they're not going to let you fly either. You got to be calm. >> All right. So, so let me ask you a question cuz I'm about to deny her boarding, but what about that gentleman? Is he >> One of them got to get out of here. >> Okay. >> They've been working from gate to gate to gate and probably airport to airport. Whatever they had issuing wherever they were at, but they're still together. So, we need to separate out there. They had an issue somewhere else here. She don't want to talk to me. Uh, but she's making accusations now >> about something that happened somewhere else. And I don't have time for We don't need any drama here. >> All right. So, you can't cancel them. We can rebook them at separate, >> but we want them out. So, he can go first and then she can go on the next flight. Can you do that? >> Yeah, we can do that. >> You need the passport. >> I have to go to work. I can't. >> Okay. >> What's your final decation? I >> leave her al there. >> He can go next. >> So, no. Nope. >> I'm making that decision right now. You're not leaving with me. >> And whatever happened, whatever happened, >> it's still here cuz y'all bought it here. >> All right. So, right now, you're going to walk out with this gentleman. We're going to rebook you. There's no more questions. There's no more. There's no more. >> Let's go. >> Can I get on this? Get on the next one. I will pay for it again. I already tell you move. >> I'm I'm a patient. Stop talking to her, man. Just walk. >> Stop. Unless you want to go to jail and then that's a bond. >> All right, keep walking. >> While the officers believe that they had successfully nipped the disturbance in the bud, they had no idea that this couple wasn't just messy. They seemed completely incapable of staying out of the wrong spotlight. >> Sorry. Not with the dramatics. >> I'm not even doing the thing. >> Hey, hey, hey, hey, relax. >> I ain't even done, bro. I just relax. I'm pissed off, bro. Please, y'all. Please, y'all. Can you take me to my gate, man? >> You under arrest. >> Please can you take me to my gate, bro? Please. All I did was fall, bro. That is crazy, my love. I'm not doing nothing. >> Take them up and walk. Let's go. One. Bring your knees up to your chest. I'm a drink, >> bro. Can you walk me to the cave? >> We're going to walk this for you, man. Come on. >> That's crazy. >> That's crazy, dude. That's crazy. >> Listen, this is Listen, it's been an all day fan, right? You've already had an issue at one airline, which I know about me, though. I just had >> No, no, I hear you. Hear me out. I don't want this to grow everywhere where they >> ma'am. Stay here. Can I get the the money at least or the or my charger? >> He's not going to give it up and I can't take it from him. >> Oh, the charger in the in his pocket. My phone's going to >> I know, but I >> I have a stop somewhere though, sir. My My phone's going to >> If I can get it. Can you just come back and sit down? >> You just got arrested. >> Ma'am, I'm going to give you a refund. Okay. So, you're going to have to book it. >> Sir, I don't have no answer. I really don't. He got me here to pay for my whole trip. [crying] >> I can't. I really can't. Sir, can you talk to him about >> I can try, but >> I really can't. >> Okay, calm down. Calm down again. Please calm down. do a separate time check for 31 and I'm not sure what he thinking unit it is >> cuz we're not together anymore on 25 >> you want me leave time on for you and the other unit >> make two simply climb checks 10 ladder Oh my goodness. >> I literally Every reasonable attempt to steer the encounter toward a [music] solution seemed to be met with more unnecessary complications. As the minutes dragged on and daylight continued to fade, the officer's patience wore thin as they sought a way to resolve the situation and [music] move on to more pressing matters. >> There's 100% no way to get her out of here. wrong way she has and >> well I think the the whole thing just had to do with him now that he's gone she'd probably be fine now that they're separated and that this is done and over with >> he's he's leaving he's holding >> so she's by herself now >> I don't think there's anything to worry about with her at this point she's by herself No, I don't think that's probably the problem. I don't know. I have no clue cuz she wasn't kicked off the other flight. He was >> in terminal one. He was kicked off the other flight. So, she followed him and he came over here. >> Yeah, she wasn't kicked off. >> He's He's the He's the problem. >> He's been the problem, I guess. Not her. All right. Okay, >> come talk to her. We'll do it, you know, together and make sure. >> Listen, listen. >> Hear me out for a second. >> I get me up. Last thing I want to have is a fine 30,000. That's going to create a lot of problems for 157 pass. All right. So, I'm going to let you go. I'm going to let you go on board. I'm going to let you fly. Please just get quiet. Okay. It doesn't seem right now, but I understand there was a situation with that gentleman. So, at this point, you're going to fight. >> All right. >> Do you know what I'm talking about with your your problem is not dealt with. He's gone. >> You you understand what he's saying, right? Like, they're going to let you go, but they're trusting the fact that you're that you're going to behave and and not argue with somebody else later. You know, if you're Listen, I'm going to tell you this right now. I cannot be any more serious. If you guys get up in the air and one of those flight attendants says something and you say something back and it turns into an argument, they're going to [ __ ] that plane, the closest airport to wherever they're at, >> take you to jail >> and they're going to take you to jail. >> Yeah, I I better know how. >> But here's what I told him. >> Now that dude is gone, you're going to be okay, right? >> Now that he's gone, >> is that your boyfriend? >> Okay, listen. It might be your boyfriend and whatever happens when you guys get back to Buffalo is up to you. But right now, you said you have to get to work, right? Okay. So, you got to be completely chill. Get on the plane, stay to yourself, take a nap, do whatever you got to do. Get off the plane, get your bags over there in Buffalo, and go to work. His problem, he'll deal with it on his own. When he gets there, he gets there. You know what I'm saying? >> You're going to board. You're going to board at 1:15. The flight's 2:40. You're probably going to board at 2:00 >> and you're out of here. >> 45 minutes, >> you know. >> So, I give you a charger. Charge your phone up now. You know what I mean? That way you got it. You're good to go. You're going to have to just chill. >> You don't have a carry-on bag or anything. You check your bag. >> No. Yeah. It went somewhere else because of the first flight, >> right? Okay. So, that Yeah. >> What a that you >> Southwest. So, you're going to have to go and pick that up. >> Yeah. in Buffalo at Southwest. >> There it'll be there. Your bag will be there >> in their office. >> So, you'll have to go pick that up. >> So, when you Yeah. When you finally land, it's going to get there before you because it was leaving on the flight [music] >> early, >> hours ago. So, when by the time you get to Buffalo, it'll be there. You're just going to have to go to whatever terminal Southwest is in and go to their baggage office and show your ID, whatever, and then boom, you'll get your bags. >> Okay. You have to be calm, though. to have to like just be chill. Now he's gone. It's He created his own problems. >> That's done. >> The officers had gone far beyond routine police work with her. They had done an admirable job of keeping the situation under [music] control through patience and professionalism. In return, they could only hope their efforts would pay off and that the encounter wouldn't eventually [music] end with handcuffs and a trip in the back of a patrol car. >> Yeah. Yeah. If you have like a big track history down here, that's where they get really strict. But if it's not like that, then there's no >> Yeah. He's never been better than out here. >> All right. So, so then when we go, it's you're going to be cool, right? >> Yeah. I'm good. I'm good, though. >> Okay. On the plane, everything. You're good. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I hope so. >> Yeah. I promise. >> I don't want to see you get in trouble. >> You want to make sure before we leave, Sergeant, you need anything from her? >> Yeah. Let me double let me call that before we clear out of here. >> Calm down, Mr. Take it to my gate. Please, guys. Bro, I don't even Please. I don't even know the lawns out here, bro. Please, Mr. H. I'm actually I'm begging you. Please. Please. Please, man. Please. What the Please, bro. I'm I'm okay. I'm be quiet. I want to be quiet. I won't talk. I just don't want to show. Yes. >> So, a future reference. >> We'll talk about that later. >> Come on, man. I'm going to go up. We're going downstairs. All right. I'm coming, man. My mom just >> In the end, he was charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. So far, we've seen several airport cars with wild and peculiar tantrums, [music] but none could compare to the moment officers had to remove a belligerent Karen whose tantrum transformed a missed flight into a full-blown police standoff. >> Ma'am. Ma'am. >> All right, I'm going to move your stuff. All right, we have to move. >> Ma'am, I will tase you if you even try me. I'm telling you right now. >> On March the 10th, 2026, officers with the Vero Beach Police Department responded to reports of an unruly passenger who was refusing to answer questions or leave the front terminal. Officers arrived promptly, hoping to resolve the disturbance. But the more they tried to reason with her, the more complicated the situation became. Can >> I get you to step over here to this seat for me? >> Sorry, ma'am. All right, I'm going to move your stuff. >> All right, we have to move. Which What are you doing here? >> What [music] are you doing here? >> Are you flying out of here? >> All right, I'm going to get you moved. So, I have another female officer coming. I don't want to go hands on with her right now. So, they're sending another one. There's a woman inside. I don't know, maybe you're familiar with her. She's uh sitting right in front of the breeze counter in front of the scale, not talking to anybody. not talking to me, not talking to the airline. Uh they're asking her what she wants. She's got bags with her but won't say anything. She's just getting in the way of arriving passengers and she've as they've asked her to move. She just closes her eyes and starts singing la >> nationality. >> Uh she's black. I don't know. You That's why I'm saying maybe you know her. >> But I tried moving her bag and she's Yeah, she's grabbing them back. So right here on the left right here. >> How are you? What's going on, ma'am? She have a medical alert brace. Ma'am, she's Can I have your ID, ma'am? Ma'am. Ma'am. >> All right, ma'am. >> You have a ID in your hand. Can I have it? Girl, >> you have a ID in your hand. Can I have it, ma'am? >> All right. So, you're going to be trespassed. >> Don't touch my >> You're going to be trespassed. So, you need to get out. >> Do not touch my stuff. We're going to have to remove her forcefully. >> Are you in front of the terminal right now? >> I'm in front of the terminal. I'm going to have to forcefully remove this woman from the terminal. >> Ma'am, I will tase you if you even try me. I'm telling you right now. I'm asking you to get up and leave on your own recognance or you're going to go to jail. Do you understand? Okay. Do >> not touch my belongings. >> Let's go. >> Do not touch my belongings. It's down on the ground. I'm not playing with you today. >> Give me your hand. >> Give me your hand. Give me your hand. >> Give me your hand. >> Give us your other hand right now. >> You can do it or I'm going to have to tase you and then it'll release your hand anyway. >> All right. La, >> you want me to bring my car over? La. LA. >> It's okay. >> Go ahead. >> I'm going to go give you the number again one more time. >> You got >> last name Reed, first name Lanita, middle initial M as in Mike. That's what I have. She had a flight out of here. Is she trying to Thank you. >> The situation was delicate. Everything she had displayed pointed either to a possible mental health crisis or someone intent [music] on causing trouble. Either way, the officers had managed to keep the situation under control. They had her exactly where they needed her to be, at least for the moment. >> I just gave her her ID. I just ran her and added her to the call. >> On a flight, we just don't know. >> I'm about I just saw her to run. >> Talk to Jeff. She wouldn't talk to me. She would just close his eyes and go la. >> Now I got it in my head la. >> I guess she was trying to go live on Facebook. What's that? >> I'm like I ain't got time for this. >> Well, I was I understand what you're doing there. >> And then >> I'm like, we can figure this out later. We got to get her out of the airport. >> She wasn't and I went when I went to when I told her that she needed to leave. That's when she pushed me like that. So, I was like, "Listen, we're not doing that." So, then I grabbed [music] her suitcase. She's like, "Don't touch my stuff." Okay. Well, listen. All right. Time is up now. >> It's right there. They just brought it out. Yeah. >> Well, she's going to jail right now. >> All right. Let me get my car. >> She'll have no flight today. >> Not. >> She says Charlotte. She was supposed to go visit. >> So, it would have been American. >> But that one already took off. Maybe that's why she's sitting there. >> Okay. So she missed her flight, >> but when we asked when the other agent asked her, she was in June. >> Okay. I was trying to see if she has any >> I can check with the American supervisor if she has her register. >> Yeah, she doesn't have anything listed under here for any type of disability or anything. Like I said, it was all good till I told her she had to leave. >> Like got some sort of >> It's medical. It's mental. Yeah. I don't know what it is. That's why I'm trying to figure out. They text her number. >> She had it in her hand and she was on the phone with someone. I don't know who she was on the phone with. Phone. >> She says she's supposed to go see her sister, >> but that plane left. >> Yeah, she's talking now. >> She ain't want to talk to me. >> She's trying to go to Charlotte to see her sister. >> Well, she's talking now cuz she's in handcuffs >> because she doesn't like those handcuffs on her. It's exactly what she said. >> She's uncomfortable. >> Yeah. >> There was a way to avoid that. >> What are those patches? >> Probably pain patches. >> Yeah. >> Are they pain patches? >> Mhm. silicone adhesive hydrocellular. >> Yeah, if it was, it would say it right on it. >> She's got all kinds of stuff. Property. >> Sean and I can keep the bags at, you know, we can put in evidence or safe keeping at the station if you want to just take her handbag with her and put that on property. >> It's for pimples. >> Yeah. >> You call over to the jail and have one of them. Yep. Just I got one. What' you say? She was not on any >> She wasn't on any said that this is the same woman that they've had a picture printed out before and posted into the office because she's come here multiple times and that she doesn't usually ever have a flight while she's coming here. >> That's the same woman. >> That's not the No, that's not the Haitian lady. The older Haitian. It's a different woman, >> right? That's what Mia was saying. Okay. >> Yeah. I think I think she might have her confused that other woman. >> There's another There's a older Haitian lady. She's got like dress attire on. She just comes here and Yeah. But that's not her. That's somebody else. After making [music] sure everything had been sorted out, the officers ultimately took her into custody as it become increasingly difficult to determine what was truly driving [music] her behavior. >> All right, I'm being routed to the jail. So, she was at the airport. I think she has mental health issues. She says she was getting on a plane. Then she didn't have a ticket. Then she refused to leave. We tried to take our bags. She tried to fight us for the bags. Then we had to throw her on the ground. She was refusing to put her arms behind her back. So, she said she wasn't getting out the car. She's like right now. >> Yeah. She just said, "I'm not getting out the car." I said, "Okay. I don't know if she's been here before. She's not from here. She's from Maryland. Baltimore. >> Thank you. >> When they see all of you. >> All right. I'll be in in a minute. I got to get my computer out. She's getting she's trespass after warning. They told her to leave and she refused to leave and then resisting without violence. Thank you. All my stuff probably came off cuz I was Yeah. >> No, no, no. You're good. But I think there's something the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top. So, >> I don't know. But she does not have a ticket. Was at the airport was showing out causing a disturbance. So, they called me. >> In the end, she was charged with criminal trespassing and resisting [music] arrest. While the last airport Karen learned the hard way that throwing tantrums at the airport was a bad idea, [music] she was nothing compared to this belligerent 34year-old for whom officers needed to deploy tasers to put him in his place. >> Get in the room. Get in the grill. Get out of the way. I'm good. >> On February the 24th, 2022, officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to Orlando International Airport after a 34 year old man identified as Ryan allegedly became aggressive toward family members [music] while waiting at a departure gate. >> He's inside. >> What happened? Uncle Booty from Jersey if you need help. >> Yeah, just looking for the bad guy. Get bad guys inside. >> Sir, put your hands behind your back. Back. Get in the Get the Get on the grill. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GRILL. GET ON THE GROUND. GET IN the Get the Get on the ground. Get out of the ground. >> Hands back. Hands down. Put your hands behind his back. Put your hands behind his back. All right. You cover him. I'll cover him. No, no, you stop. You stop. Show me >> on the side or >> on your side. Relax. >> Roll over. Right. Really good. Do it smart. Get him on his side. Here's his legs. One, two, three. >> Sitting next to them the whole time. You need to witness at all or >> Yes. Do you mind writing a statement for me? >> Why do you have to catch a flight? But >> Oh. Oh, it's boarding. >> I don't know if it's starting the board. >> I'll catch your You have your ID? Yeah, >> I think I'll just take a picture of you. >> I did give the lady I wanted to be safe. So, >> so they were sitting next to us and he he was getting kind of loud and then he >> right here right in these seats here and he was getting kind of loud and then um she sitting was sitting next to me and he he actually said to her not he says, "Oh, really? I'm being bad." And he says, "I'll drop you right here." And I leaned over to her and I said, "Are you safe?" >> So you told her I was going to drop you right there. >> He was going to drop his wife. >> He threatened all. But I did get security and I tried to help. So >> good. I appreciate you. >> Thank you. >> Um, no. But he was trying to threaten that. And with the girls, he was being aggressive like pushing them like, "Come on. Oh, sorry. I don't need to touch you." >> Fine. Oh, so he was pushing. >> Yeah, but it was more for the, you know, cuz he sees us. He, you know, I don't even know if he knows where he's at. He was cursing at random people like the lady that was sitting there next to us >> cuz on the way here, you know, they were telling us >> that he he had to put the hands on here. He's trying to pull my hair. That's what they told us on the radio. That's why we're coming fast. >> Every account already painted him as the main source [music] of the disturbance. After securing the area, the officers escorted the belligerent 34year-old away from the scene, staying alert the entire time since his [music] next move was still unpredictable. I want to double them up. >> You guys pull those out. That's all right. >> Watch. Watch. >> I got this. Watch that. >> No, you watch that. >> Watch that. >> We got to clean them up. >> Just think about We'll be fine. >> I've been told about twice. >> Fire department's going to clean up your blood. >> You got a boo boo on your arm. They're going to come clean you up. Okay, >> just give me that. Give me that right now. >> Give me the phone. >> Listen to me. >> Give me the phone. >> You're under arrest. >> Give me the [ __ ] >> Stop. >> Give me the phone like a child. >> Give me the [ __ ] >> You want to live or not? >> I'm sorry. Give me the phone. After removing him from the scene, [music] some officers went back into the airport terminal to gather clearer details and better understand the full extent of what they were really dealing with. >> All right, >> you need to talk. >> Sorry, I'll be doing the report. So, uh, I needed to hear from the horse's mouth. >> Okay, tell me from the from the beginning what what what transpired here. >> So, we received a call from the agent at gate 48 that >> we're going to take it off so I can so you can get your voice. it's okay >> that we need a supervisor. There's a a a customer being abus towards his family. So then I I I'm usually the ramp supervisor, but since she was by herself, I was like, I'll go up with her. You know what I mean? So I came up and as soon as I came up, she came over here like, "No, we got to call the police." Cuz he was screaming already in the in the gate area and everybody's just staring, you know? And she's the wife, her sister, and the kids were like kind of like in the corner like right there sitting in the front. And I was I noticed that there was fear. >> So then I looked at them. I'm like, "Are you guys okay?" And then she's like, "No, we need help." So that's when I pulled I was like I told him to come with me that I needed to talk to him away from the gate area. He just looked at me crazy and he didn't get up. So then I told him, "You guys step away." And I kind of got in between where he was sitting and where she was. And this was right there in the front where the kid with the burgundy. So I told her to come back here where this area is kind of away from him. So when she did that, he started following and wanted getting aggressive verbally. So then I >> You're trying to talk to her, right? You're trying to talk to her. >> No, I wanted to keep him away from her. >> You know what I mean? Cuz I saw the aggression building. So when he started walking following me, like trying to get here to them and I was like, "Sir, I'm going to call the police. You need to step away." So then he started walking that way like rushing like he was trying to get away. So the family came here and I followed to see where he went so we could notify you guys, you know what I mean? Not close. I let the distance, you know what I mean? And he stopped at 42 and he was trying to blend in. So I came back and as soon as I came back, somebody said, "He's coming back." And I looked and I told the family, I scanned my badge in here. And I was like, "You guys come in here cuz to me, this is a secured area on the jet bridge, you know what I mean? To keep him away." So I closed the door and the kids are crying and they're saying he gets like that when he drinks. He's he's abused. He gets aggressive. >> And who was that one? >> She's like the the wife. She's like, he's going to hurt somebody. He's going to hurt somebody. And I was like, he can't get in here. >> He busted that door open like nothing. Like it was opened. >> Like he went like this. >> It was locked. Like if you try to go in there right now, it's not going to open. >> Right. >> So that's what I thought. Yeah. Right. He just went boof and open the door. And I told him, "Sir, you can't be in here." And he just kind of shoved me out the way like get out of my way. but with his body. That's that's still a battery. That's still a battery. >> So once he went in the jet bridge and he was telling her like, "You really doing this to me?" And he grabbed himself and went poof. >> Right in there in the jet bridge. Like >> he grabbed it like this. >> Stop. Repeat that again. I don't want to. >> He grabbed it like this, >> right? You You're holding >> Let's say this is Yeah. So let's say this is the inside of the jugger, right? >> And he went bof like that. Like he hit the cell phone with the wall. cell phone or your cell phone? >> His cell phone. Not mine. >> His cell phone. >> His cell phone. He was just trying to hit something but he hit the wall. So then I told him a little scared. >> Huh? >> Did you get a little scared for the because of his uh his uh state of mind? >> My mindset was more >> I was >> cuz you were there at that time. You were there alone, right? With him >> with the family. >> I was more being overprotective with them cuz I know that he will harm her. You know what I mean? So obviously, yeah, you're going to be scared. It's a big ass body. You know what I mean? But that kind of went away for a little bit cuz I was more trying to protect them. You know what I mean? So, >> and I'm talking about here. I'm talking about on the jet bridge now when you said oh that's >> of course of course. >> So anyways I'm looking at him his whole movement in there. And then I kind of talked him on to come on guys let's go out here and he starts she started grabbing everything and he walked out and I closed the door again. So this time around I was holding the handle inside of there and trying to put my body to it and holding the the side the corner here and pulling it on me cuz every time that he would try to open it I will pull it out. >> So he was he was >> he was trying to go in again when we were going to exit out that she was grabbing everything. >> All the witnesses accounts of his drunken outburst were enough to establish a clear picture of the incident. But outside the airport, the officers who stayed with him continued documenting his oddly unruly and obstinate behavior. >> Cuz I drank I wanted to get on the out of flight. >> Let me ask you this right here. When you said that you were drunk, I'm going to ask you a personal question. This this is just me and you talking. Were you drunk or are you drunk? Do you have a problem? B. Hey, honestly, I like it. I like it. You know, and you know, this is not how to begin or end a vacation at all. Did you understand what the officers were there for? >> I never said I didn't. >> But I'm asking you. I'm asking. >> I understand what they're there for. Yeah. I understand what he's got. And so is he. You're here for your family. Fix yourself. I understand what you're here for >> and I love the military. I'm here for the military. So, >> I appreciate that. >> I'll do anything I can. I will just be Oh, give me give me about 500 push-ups. without food. >> Yeah. >> Like I say, why didn't you just comply with the auction what they needed? >> Here's my wife and uh her sister, but it's I would >> I would 100%. >> No problem. >> I'll comply with you. Whatever you say. >> Yeah. Well, right now it's right now it's all over with. it's done, you know, uh, of course, you know, you got to go, but we can't we can't change that. >> So, how long are you going to jail for? >> That's that'll be up to the judge, you know. I mean, if you're a different out of state, that changes the mind, you know, your attitudes or, you know, any past histories that you've got, you know, being cooperative from this point out. >> Can't let me go from here. >> Can't. Sorry. Sorry. You know that that chip sale when you decided not to comply. >> I wouldn't I don't want to get tased. I want you >> Nobody wants to tase you. >> We don't like you using this stuff. >> So you can't help me out. >> There's no helping you, sir. >> Now, now everything's on you. Our job here is this job. Our job is to come to the call to answer the call for crime that was witness try and investigate it try and give you an opportunity but if you don't give it >> and going you got it I'm not going to resist I'm not resisting >> but outside of our our stakiness is done except getting to the jail safely after that it will be between you the judge the courts your We have no personal stake in >> can't help me at all. >> The only thing we can do is just grease you the best. We hold no ill will. >> Ryan, you got to listen to us when we tell you how to get in this car cuz you're a big guy. >> Yeah. >> All right. Look at me. Face me. >> Not a big guy. You're a big guy. You're bigger than me. >> Watch your head. Okay. >> There you go. >> All right. Now, see if you can kind of kick in. >> Scoot yourself back a little. >> There you go. You got it. Hey, >> watch your face >> on the cage there on the on the >> What is race car? >> All right, we're going to turn on the AC for you. Okay, love you. >> In the end, he was charged with a disorderly intoxication, domestic battery, and resisting an officer with violence. The last Karen was wild just like this one who tried to pull a veto [music] authority out of thin air to enter a restricted airport area like rules were just optional suggestions. >> Like there's some reason put your feet inside dragging. >> All right. This is this is unacceptable for a business because you got upset because someone told you to move. We throw a Panther 13 on Parkinson yellow curb. I'm done arguing. We're done. Take it to court. On October the 12th, 2025, [music] deputies with the Valuchia Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an airport terminal after a woman turned a simple parking issue into a prolonged standoff. Airport employees repeatedly directed her to approved [music] waiting areas, but she continued returning to the same restricted dropoff lane and refused to relocate her vehicle. >> This is our second time parking. So, the second time I'm asking, >> you guys got to carry an upstairs. >> Oh, yeah. So, am I understanding you wanted to talk to a deputy? >> Yeah. >> What's the problem? >> Uh, she's the problem. I've been here before. My sister just landed. >> She's coming out the door and she should be there the first time talking to say she's off the plane and she's out the door, but she's >> Well, let me ask you a question. What's that sign right there say? No. No. I'm asking you, what does that sign say? What's the key? >> You see a lot Do you see a lot of traffic? >> Do you see a sign that says no parking? Immediate loading and unloading. It's a It's a yes or no question. I'm not trying to be a wise guy. I'm just asking you a question. Do you give me your license and your registration and your insurance, please? Give me your license, your registration, and your information, or I'm going to arrest you. What? >> For violating my lawful order for you to demand your identification after committing a traffic offense. >> I committed. >> Yeah. I don't need your >> ma'am. Listen, >> I'm going to ask you one more time to give me your information or you're going to go to jail. I'm not going to play I'm not going to play this game. like you're refusing. All right, she's going to jail. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> What? >> Get out of the car, >> you know. Wait a minute. Not getting him out of the car and prison. >> I'm not going to ask you again. Let's go. Put the phone down and get out of the car. >> Why am I being arrested? >> End up in the turn around and then help. Turn around. >> Well, stop resisting. >> You are turn your arm. >> Where you call? >> It's catch. Okay. >> Let's go. Come on. I'll pull. All right. Stand right over here. Stand. Turn around and relax. This would have been a simple move your car, but you had to be a pain. >> I wasn't being a pain. >> Well, now you're going to jail. I asked you for your identification. You refused to give it to me. I'm not playing to you. >> I didn't refuse to give it to you. I said, "Why do you need it?" >> Yes, you did. I told you. >> So now you're going to go to jail. >> I'll fix them in a minute. >> Yeah. Well, you better fix something in a minute. Oh my god. I'm handicapped for God's sakes. >> Well, you put yourself in this predicament. I didn't do it to you. >> You know what? Then you better get my skater out of the car cuz I don't want you to have that. We'll discuss all >> Yeah, it's all on camera. >> It's all on camera. >> Okay. >> How am I >> You want to sit down over here? >> Can you Can you walk over to there? >> I cannot sit down over there. >> Well, you're going to be sitting in the back of a car in a minute. >> All right. You better adjust these cuffs or I'm going to >> Well, you're going to have to wait till my partner gets your lean against his car and then we'll adjust the cuffs. right now anywhere. >> Just go. >> I'm handicapped. I have a scooter in the back of my car. >> Okay. >> That's how I walk. >> Okay. >> The fact that you just drove me out of my car is like ridiculous. >> Oh, you resisted my You resisted. >> Oh, for God's sake. She wrapped me once. >> Well, when you review my body camera, you'll see I asked you more than once. >> I didn't like I myself. >> At this stage, the officers had stopped trying to figure out whether her actions were deliberate or simply misguided. The situation had already gone far beyond a parking dispute. Ironically, getting her under control was the easy part. What followed was far more challenging than anyone expected. >> Come on over. >> I know. >> Ouch. >> You better adjust these goddamn things right now. That's all I'm going to say. >> You're not doing anything. >> Ow. >> Get your food inside. >> I curse you in. >> Get your food inside. My first reason. >> Put your feet aside. We're going to drag him. I better >> I don't I can't move. I just I hip surgery. >> I don't care. >> You don't care. >> Slide backwards to me. >> Where is your right now? >> Get in the car. >> Slide backwards to me. Come on. >> Have a hard time getting >> Just slide. [screaming] I'm not You're hurting. >> I am not pulling. There you go. >> She just wouldn't give me a driver's license. I asked her three times. >> Yeah. Can't bring it up to the jail with you. >> This is totally ridiculous. And my sister can drive my car. You don't have to have it towed. >> No, it gets towed. >> You know, I'm so glad that all of this is being recorded. >> It is >> good. I'm glad because you know what? Then I'm going to come after you for number one going into my purse and taking my driver's license. >> We have a legal right to you. We don't need your permission. You're under arrest. >> I am disabled. I'm here [music] to pick up my sister and her flight landed. She told me it landed. I was just waiting for her to walk out those doors. >> And there's a ma'am, listen to me. >> That's that >> the young lady who works the front curb who works for the airport. She asked you to move your car. >> She told me to move my car and I didn't move it the first time. and I moved it to the long-term parking, but my sister said, "I'm coming out the door. She's probably already out here [music] wondering what the hell is going on." You know, I waited for her to tell me that she's here and that [music] she's outside and I pulled up and then she started to harass me again. >> She's not harassing you. She's doing her job. >> So, the 13 no parking signs and yellow curb, you have a driver's [music] license, correct? >> I've been here several times. >> You have a driver's license, correct? >> And picking people up. Okay. >> I've never had a problem. The guy in front of me was a white Suburban and he was able to park in front of [music] me and open up his doors. His bride wasn't here, but you didn't arrest them. >> We weren't called about him. We were called about you. >> Just because I complained. That's why you're That's why you're upset. >> No. [music] Get any >> anytime we get called to the front curb. But you better you better have a wheelchair or something ready at [music] the jail because I'm not walking anywhere. >> Okay. >> I'm having a total hip replacement. Okay. >> On Tuesday. >> I'm just babysitting you until the paperwork gets [music] done by the resting officer. >> As soon as the paperwork gets done, you call for a transport deputy. You will you're a Florida resident, correct? >> Yes. >> Okay. Well, >> period. >> That depends on what your bond amount is. That's what I'm trying to explain to you. You'll have the opportunity to bond out today or you can sit in jail until you see the JoJo at first appearance. That's totally up to you. >> Did you give it a sentence? >> Yes, I did. >> And what is your response to that? >> Okay. >> Those are my personal items. >> Okay. Do you have any uh prescriptions in your purse? >> It doesn't matter. >> It does matter because they cannot go out to the jail. If the jail takes them, they automatically disposed of. That's what we That's why I'm asking you. >> Okay. Well, then they're going to be thrown in the trash. Just so you know. I don't have anything in here, but it's not your body, is it? >> It is [music] because it's going to be searched before it goes to the jail with you. And when you get out the jail, it's going to be searched again. >> After a few minutes, Janet's sister finally came out of the airport. The deputy calmly explained the situation as they hope the awful behavior didn't run in the family. >> I don't know. I don't know what she was thinking. I really don't. >> Maybe she's having a bad day. Obviously, she's having a bad day now, but >> cuz I'll be honest with you, straight up honestly, this is all on video camera. I was going to just look at her license, tell her to keep on moving, and then she just had to just go go off the deep end. And yeah, she have a history of mental illness or anything or >> No, not really. She stressed out. She had her hip replace. It's like McDonald's >> on Tuesday. >> Yeah. >> Me coming down here to take care of. >> No, I bet you. Well, there were other ways she could have handled it herself. You know, for a lack of evidence from showing her law enforcement, that's probably not the best way to get it. But now, she was given several warnings to stop what she's doing. Hey, she decided to deal. >> I don't think we already >> You'll be able to call her when you get out to the facility. I'm doing you the solid by letting her take your car. I could have towed your car, too, and I'm not doing that. >> So, all your belongings are in there. >> Well, give me a call. Okay. >> All right. I'm sorry. I can't hear it. >> I have marks on the hands. >> You do have marks in the from the handcuffs from resisting. You do. There are marks on your arm. >> You did. Yes, you did. >> You did, ma'am. Ma'am, it's on camera. >> Here's what's going to happen. If you remain calm and you start being more cooperative, listen to me. I will move the handcuffs around front so you at least can sit comfortable while he finishes up the paperwork. Or you can sit like that for the next 3 hours. It's up to you. I don't care. You decide. Yes or no. >> Would you like me to move the handcuffs up front? I'm a nurse. I a nurse. Okay. >> And if these close marks and I'm going to go to the nurse in the emergency room, >> you have right to do that. >> You have every right to do that. >> I I just ask you, would you like me to move them up front so you're more comfortable for the next several hours? >> Okay. That's all I'm asking. >> Okay. Step out. >> I can't step out. >> That's not >> Please do not tug on me. >> I'm trying to MAKE DO NOT TUG ON ME. >> PUT YOUR FEET BACK IN. ALEX, stay in the back. Put your feet back. >> No, don't tug on me. >> I'm not trying to make it so you don't fall. Trying to be nice to you. >> Ouch. >> Out. Step out. You have to come out further. Okay. You got to lean forward. Step back. Lean forward. >> Ow. [screaming] OW. You are hurting me. >> I'm not even touching. Damn it. >> I'm not even touching you. >> Spread your arm. Spread your leg hand. Can you move your fingers up? There you go. >> There you go. Hold on. Hold on. [screaming] >> Relax. [screaming] >> Is that that time? >> Oh my god. LOOK AT LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO ME. [ __ ] [screaming] >> TAKE PICTURES. TAKE PICTURES. >> Put your hand. >> No. You >> You're getting out of charge. Put your hand in the cup. >> Put your hand in. >> Look what he did TO ME. YEAH. LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO ME. >> Have a seat. >> Sit down. >> I can't calm down. >> Let me ask you this. How much you have you drink today? >> I haven't had anything to drink. >> You take narcotics. >> I don't take narcotics. >> Are you on any prescriptions that could be monopoly? >> Yes or no? You know, you're not in your right frame of mind. >> Normal person does not act like me. >> Look what you did to me. So, you're either drunk or you're high on something. >> Oh, I'm being serious with you. >> Gale, this is not real. >> Janet, calm down. >> My thumb is numb from your handcuffs. >> Okay. And I acknowledge that. Okay. >> Are you a doctor? >> Nope. >> Oh, I didn't think so. I've been a nurse for years. >> Were you a good one? I was an excellent nurse. I worked in the EMS field. And you know what? If somebody wants emergency medical services, they are entitled to it. And I want your supervisor. Your supervisor. You're the one watching. >> There is no supervisor here right now to talk to. >> I don't care. You can call one. >> Who am I going to call? Who am I calling? >> I don't care who you calling. You're going to call your supervisor. >> My media supervisor comes back to work on Monday. Janette was already making her way to her next move, but by now the officers had a clearer picture of who they were dealing with. It was no longer about logic or simple compliance. They realized a different, more careful approach would [music] be needed to properly handle the situation. >> It is not bulls Monday through Friday. >> I've requested now several times a supervisor and EMS and you have denied me EMS. You are denying emergency medical treatment when somebody requested. What are you questioning it for? >> I'm requesting it because my my thumb is numb and it's throbbing and I think I might have compartment syndrome because you guys put these handcuffs on. >> Yeah, that's a standard procedure when you get arrested. Unfortunately, >> I am requesting medical services and I'm also requesting his supervisor. >> His supervisor is my supervisor. >> Hey Joe, can you hear me? Hey, your female is requesting medical uh attention reference. She has a numb left thump. So if they deem it's necessary to transport you to the hospital to be medically cleared by a doctor, um we will basically RO are you, which means you're released on your own recgnance. Well, charges still are going to be filed against you. Those aren't going away regardless. Um you're going to still get your ticket. Your information is still being forwarded to TSA for the $18,000 federal fine. That's that's up to them whether the government does that or not. Um you're still [music] going to be trespassed from the airport because you got arrested here. So you can never come back here. Um but regardless if they transport [music] you, um you will get a notice in the mail when your court date is. If you refuse to show up to your court date, a warrant will be issued for your arrest. So but if they deem you don't need to be uh be medically cleared, you'll be still transported to the branch jail today. That's so those are what one or two things is going to happen. Basically, he he would have ran he would listen to me. Listen to me. He would have ran your driver's license, make sure it's valid, and sent you on your way, and you would have got a ticket. So, but you're still getting the ticket and unfortunately you're taking a ride to jail now or the hospital, whatever EMS wants to do. >> You just didn't like the fact that I know my rights that >> that if you get if that happens, you'll get correspondence in the mail that deals with the federal government. That has nothing to do with us. >> And there's cameras out here. >> Oh, yes, there are cameras out here. >> Was only parked there for 5 minutes. >> Uh, ma'am, now I am going to advise you. You're right. You have the right to remain [music] silent. Anything you say can be held against you in a court of law. You just admitted you were parked on the front curb illegally for 5 minutes and it's on camera. Thank you. >> Well, like I said, these gentlemen are going to look at you. She wants to know. >> You want to take her? >> Um, we have to find out from our sergeant whether we're going to take her or just be transported. >> Yeah, you guys can take her. I mean, there's no there's no emergency here. There's no >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> All righty. >> Okay. We'll find out. I need their names. >> Uh, they will be in the call for service. So, I don't I'm not I don't have the ability to get their names for you. So, >> no, I don't I don't work for the Daytona Beach Fire Department. >> Her scheme about medical attention had already fallen apart. But Janet, seemingly a harbinger of chaos, [music] wasn't done yet. She kept searching for loopholes when none actually existed. >> I know when something is wrong, [music] >> okay? >> And I'm telling you it's wrong. >> Okay? >> But I want the supervisor. You can't keep me here for hours and hours. No bathroom break or anything. [music] >> We can. >> Really? On your seats, I guess. >> Well, I ripped people's shirts off to clean it up before. I will do the same to you. >> You're going to rip my shirt off? >> I've done it before. [laughter] I use your own clothing to clean it up. Yes, I do. >> I hope you heard that. That's all going to be with my attorney. This is the professionalism that we get at the Valuchia County Sheriff's Office. If you need to use the restroom, we could make arrangements for that. >> You never said that. You said go ahead and pee on the >> I didn't say that. That's what you just said. >> Your shirt. >> In other words, you will strip me naked. >> I didn't say I was going to strip you naked. >> That's what I heard you say. >> Nope, I did not say that. >> Yes, that's exactly what you said. But it's already on camera anyways. And it's all going to be subpoenaed cuz this is coming to a wall soon. This is totally ridiculous. You guys had nothing better to do today. >> Yep. We just fell out of the blue just to harass you personally. >> We did. >> Just Yep. We singled you out. >> You did >> cuz on a Sunday, this is what I feel like doing right now. >> Dealing with you. >> And that's on camera, too. It dealing with you. >> Yeah, I'm dealing with you. >> You're not treating me like a >> The prisoner in the back the prisoner in the back of my patrol car. I'm dealing with you right now cuz that's what you are. You are in custody. You are [music] a prisoner. Whether you agree with it or not, you are a prisoner. >> Soon, a sergeant arrived to take over the situation and [music] speak with her directly. Janet immediately leaned into the attention with calculated answers. She >> Yeah, Craig is um Craig is uh he's going to get something. >> Hello. How you doing? I'm Sergeant Stubblefield. I'm going to take a few pictures of you and then talk to you about what happened. All right. >> What happened? >> I was here to pick my sister up. >> Uhhuh. >> And she texted me that she was she had arrived and I originally pulled into the long-term parking. >> Okay. >> And I stayed there for 4 minutes and that's I have the receipt for that. Then she said she was coming out and I parked over there and then this woman came over and she said, "Well, you have to keep circling until your party comes out." And I'm like, "That's never happened." >> What do you mean this? Just a random woman or she was she was airport whatever >> airport security. >> I've been here before. I mean, I've lived here now for 18 months, but I've flown into this airport a lot. I picked people up here a lot. Mhm. >> Um, and she said, "Well, you know, you you you need to you need to move." And I said, "She's coming out the door." You know, that's what she texted me. I'm coming out the door. It's not like I'm just randomly sitting here, >> right? >> So, she said, "Well, would you like to talk to a deputy?" And I said, "Well, yeah, I think I would like to talk to a deputy." And then not him, not the other guy. >> How long did it take for the deputies to come out here? >> About 5 minutes. >> Okay. So, she wasn't coming out the door then? >> She wasn't coming out the door because she was stuck in baggage claim. >> Okay. So, then the deputies came out here and they spoke with you or >> Yeah. You know, he said, "Well, can can't you see that sign? Can you read? Blah, blah, blah. Start treating me like I'm an insult." And I'm like, "Yeah, I see the sign." I said, "But my sister said she's coming out." And I even had my phone in my hand. I was going to show him the text. >> And he said, "Well, I I I want some ID." I said, "Well, why do you need ID?" I said, "I'm just here to pick my sister up." And then he says, "Well, then I'm going to arrest you." And he came around and opened up my car door and flung me out and put these handcuffs behind me and now my thumb is completely numb. >> And they had EMS come. >> It's numb or is it hurt? >> Numb. No, it doesn't hurt. >> Okay. >> Listen, I've been a nurse for 40 years. I've been an EMT for 40 years. Don't treat me like I'm stupid. >> No, I I didn't treat you like you're stupid. It's a simple question. There's a nerve injury going on because of rear. >> So then it is hurt. >> Okay. >> You can see where the cuffs were and even before you know they were they were just they did put them in front. I appreciate that but this is totally unnecessary. >> Okay. Um so the injury that you're stating is to your left thumb. >> Left thumb >> or the wrist? >> It's no left thumb. It's it's numb right up to here. >> Okay. From here down, there's a nerve injury. I know it is. >> Okay. >> I've been a nurse. I worked in surgical services. I know there's a nerve injury there. >> Okay. >> And I've been trying to elevate it, trying to tell these guys, but and initially I request EMS. >> Mhm. >> And it'll be all on the camera. >> Okay. >> They refused. They refused. They refused. They refused until they kept saying, saying, saying, and then the guys came and you know, they said, "Well, it's not an emergency. We're not going to take her and we're just going to have to sit there and deal with it. And now I just can't. What they're telling me now is I got to go get booked, get out of jail, and then go to the officer. >> Well, that's not what we're doing. We're going to be cutting you loose from here most likely. Okay. You are going to get a notice to appear because he asked you to identify yourself. You were in a no parking zone. [music] You were asked to move. The deputies came out. Either way, >> he asked you and you refused to give it to him. And that's why You're being placed under arrest for resisting resisting without violence. You will have a court date, but our plan as of right now is to cut you loose so you can go get your hand looked [music] at. >> I am right to the emergency room and I'm going to videotape. I'm going to have them take pictures of mine all >> and I'm taking pictures here also. We know exactly what it looks like here, too. And in case you have any issues, it'll be documented. You'll be able to get all that. Also, we're doing what's called a blue team. It's a It's a resist a response to resistance is what I'm doing. >> While she thought she was playing chess, [music] the sergeant soon showed that she had actually been playing amateur checkers the entire time. The investigation into her situation was far from over and the officers had her exactly where they wanted her. >> There was an injury caused to you by resisting your response to resistance. >> And that will be on his body camera >> and I review that also. Everything is on there. I review his view. Have you seen any of this footage? I am getting an attorney. >> You can't delete the body body camera footage. >> All right. Do me a favor. Put your hands out for me so I can take a picture of them. >> Okay. Now you can open them up. All right. Then I need to get you just take that out of your mouth. I need to get a picture of just your face. >> Why? >> Cuz this is what we do for the blue team. And then if you could stand up, I just got to get one full body picture. This is for your documentation. All right. Thank you. If you could just sit back down. We're going to grab the paperwork for you, okay? We'll provide the case number on the paperwork for you. That way you can um have that for your documentation. Okay. >> All right, ma'am. Listen, I'm going to instead of taking you to physical jail and having you deal with all that nonsense, I'm going to issue a notice to appear. Okay? You do have to sign the notice to appear. If you don't sign the notice to appear, you have to go to jail. You're not admitting guilt of anything. >> It's just that you're going to promise to go to answer to whatever happens. Okay? >> While we don't quite honestly we don't staff the curb 24/7. We get called out here when there's a problem when people refuse to leave. That's why I came out here. The problem is when I asked you for your identification, you refused to give it to me. >> I asked why you needed it. And I said, "Because now I'm conducting a traffic investigation." And I pointed out the sign. >> It's on your body because it's all going to be subpoenaed because this is going to of course I know it's going to court. So now listen, here's the thing. Your sister took your car. Um I think she has your phone and everything in there, too. Now, I am going to ask again, you are going to sign the notice to appear, right? Cuz you have to or else you have to go to jail. >> And I don't sign it, but depends on the date. I'm having a surgery, major surgery on Tuesday. >> That's something you take up with the clerk and I'm sure they'll work around it. Okay. just we're almost done. Just give me a few more minutes. >> I said none of this body camera footage had better be deleted or missing because it is all you know this injury this this injury is >> in it's all here. It's all in the video. Okay. >> All right. Do you have any other questions for me right now? >> No. >> But I want to get out of this car and >> we'll get you on as soon as as soon as we know the paperwork and get shot. >> Oh, for God's sakes. I've been hearing about the paperwork since 8:30 this morning. It was more like 9:00, a little after 9, but >> No, it really wasn't because my sister's flight came in at 8:12 >> when she was late, remember? >> Take me a minute. >> You're fine. Take your time. >> There you go. And again, it's just the touch touch screen in here. You just got to use your finger and sign away. Yep. If it's good, just hit accept. All right. >> All right. You get that other paperwork. Okay. Here's your driver's license back. This is the copy of the citation that I wrote you for violating the traffic control device here. It's my name. And then on the back here is the page number. >> Okay. Do you have any questions for me? >> No. >> Just like I said, all the spotty cameras that are staying. >> It's It's all there. Trust me, it's not going to go anywhere. I'm calling 212. >> That's That's fine. That's fine. >> Now, how do I call somebody to come pick me up? >> We are going to get you to a phone and you're going to make the phone call and you're going to call your home. >> Okay. >> Am I trespassing? >> Once you finish your business today, yes. >> For how long? >> It lasts for a year. If you want, like I said, if you want to bring >> if you want to fight the trespass, you contact the airport director and he will have final say whether he enforces you. >> I will. I will be. >> Right. If they say you want them back, >> you know, >> you said that you thought I was impaired under the influence of alcohol and drug. >> No, I asked you I asked you if you were because your behavior is not >> I don't care what you did >> because I was pissed off. >> I don't care what you did. >> Yeah. I'm going to have a drug >> and an alcohol test. I guess your behavior is not normal. This is this this is unacceptable for a business because you got upset because someone told you to move. It's a little overkill. >> Why didn't you tell me to move? >> Regardless, ma'am, there are 13 of Parkinson yellow curb. I'm done arguing. We're done. Take it before you dance. >> I will. >> But like I said, >> I don't need your help. >> Okay. Have a good day. >> In the end, she was charged with resisting an officer without violence. Next up is the moment officers had to forcibly remove this drunk, belligerent troublemaker who thought drunk confidence could scare away consequences. >> Have a seat. That's my seat. You stay up. Stay down. >> I cannot wait till this on YouTube. I can't wait. >> On May the 3rd, 2023, an airline passenger who was barred from boarding due to erratic conduct [music] refused to comply with instructions from airline staff. Officers arrived quickly, but their presence did little to deescalate the situation as his behavior grew increasingly agitated and uncooperative. >> Come on, Turkey. Yeah, it looks like he's >> down on the jet bridge now. >> Oh my god. That's my flight. >> No, it's not. It's literally my flight. I'll show you. >> Stop. Stop. >> Okay. >> You've been denied getting on a flight. >> Yeah. I don't understand why, but >> 112. >> Have a seat right here. >> Have a seat right here. Have a seat right there. >> Let go, me. >> Have a seat right there. >> Let go, me. >> Have a seat right there. >> No, I'm not going to sit. I will show you exactly how to fly. >> Let me see your ID. >> Really? >> Yeah. Let me see your ID. >> You're going to pull the hardcore. >> Stop it. >> All right. Go ahead. Go ahead. There's my ID. >> Have a seat. >> That's my seat. >> Stay down. Are you kidding me? >> Are you kidding me? >> Good job, Hero. >> I cannot wait till this on YouTube. I can't wait. You pieces of >> your gobby pieces of >> Go ahead. Reese races. You You guys are garbage. This is >> right. >> I don't have car over here. Y >> this is an American citizen. I'm an American citizen. You >> guys are idiots. I'm an American citizen. [screaming] Oh, you guys are American citizens. Go ahead. Go ahead and listen to it. Go ahead. Go ahead. You dumb mother. You dumb mother. I'm empty. You >> can have a empty. Yeah. Yeah. I'm empty. You dumb piece of >> Yeah, I'm There's no reason to apprehend me. fighting kick all the way. >> Hey, listen. >> I called for a cage. >> Hey, listen. I'll tell you guys right now. >> Hey. Hey. I'm calm. If you guys want to let me go right now, I'll go and enjoy my vacation. >> You want me on the ramp? >> Hey, ramp 104. Uh, >> I'll enjoy my vacation. >> 37 or uh, >> you guys don't have to deal with a bunch of charges. You got charges on you. >> No, I'm saying y'all about to >> Y'all are so You guys are so You have no idea how many people I know. [laughter] You guys have no reminded how many people are in town when you're government. [laughter] You guys are so all you guys are out of jobs within 3 weeks. I promise. >> I promise you. Go ahead. >> I want to make your job as easy as possible. >> The officer suspected he was intoxicated, but that was no excuse for his disruptive behavior. With him now restrained, they moved the investigation forward in full [music] force to determine exactly what had led to this incident. >> Can you get all the agents have him stick around that were when he went down there that was stopping him from going? >> Hey, why don't you ask me around? >> It was just you two. >> Yeah, in you guys just stick around. >> You can get a statement from each. >> Yeah. [music] cuz I don't >> y'all literally a bunch of jokes. I cannot wait for our government to you all up. Oh man. Oh man. Oh yeah. Make it harder on me. Make it harder on me. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Oh no. Oh no. That hurts. I cannot wait for y'all to be detained. Hey, get a video of this. Y'all, I'm getting detained for nothing. I'm a white American. I'm getting detained for no reason at all. >> Oh, I need somebody to come help me. I need somebody to come help me. >> He's about to break my leg. He's about to break my leg, bro. [screaming] >> Okay. All right. That's better. That's better. That's better. That's better. That's better. That's way back. >> Those are like pudding or something. >> Oh my god. the kitchen. >> Yeah. >> How you going to get him out of here? >> The waiting car is down here and you just go down. He's going down the stairs. >> Yo, crazy, bro. >> Okay. >> Hey guys, let's go down 36 so we're not going against the passengers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. >> Yeah. All right. >> Excuse me, sir. >> Yes, sir. >> You told me you told me I could ask you one question. Yes, >> sure. Go ahead. Knock yourself out, brother. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Throw down a cell. >> Nope. I'm listening, man. >> My mother right? Why am I get throwing down the cell? Uh, well, we got disorderly talks. We got resisting arrest. >> I didn't do any of those things. >> I didn't do any of those things. >> Well, you were told to sit down. Then you made a nice, >> sir. Sir, I didn't do any of those things. >> Fantastic. >> Thank you. I didn't 56 to hold himself >> probably. He got or do you >> just went out in the door? >> Pull your foot in the door. >> Let me go to the other side and pull through. >> Don't kick us or it's going to be a felony. Do you understand? His erratic episodes forced the officers to act first and sort things out afterward. Upon returning to the airport terminal, they began gathering information to fill in the gaps and better understand what they were dealing with. >> Excuse me. >> Yeah, I'm just covering for over time. [laughter] >> So basically, I mean you guys denied him at some point. >> Yes, I'm the supervisor on duty. >> Okay. >> So was the ops agent. I was supervisor on duty. I was called to keep an eye on him. I we originally let him work. It appeared that he was on the spectrum. He was not anywhere near the local >> and that was originally 36. >> That was at this point right here. Okay. >> And I was probably about an hour about an hour and a half ago by now [music] and he was not anywhere. I had to go to the flight group something about how he was talking towards some passengers morning. So they did not feel comfortable. So I facilitated the denial and >> 10:30 you're appearing right now with your behavior. We're going to need to rebook you for tomorrow morning. So he didn't like that. He's like, I'm not I'm going to call you, but I'm not going to call you humbly.
