All right. I tried to be nice. I told you to get off the phone. >> My mom's a captain of the police department. >> Mom, >> I'll help you out. >> Some miners make mistakes and others feel a little rebellious. But then there are the entitled ones armed with overconfidence and zero accountability. You walk into stores thinking that rules don't apply to them and that shoplifting is nothing but a game. At least until reality hits them in the face and they realize that they have to face the consequences. >> She had stuff concealed in her bag, too. I just unfortunately >> don't know which one. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, we know though that she for surely >> Yes. >> stole. Okay. >> But we didn't take them. >> You attempted to take stuff and then you went back into the store and ditched it. >> We did end off. >> Hi. So, I'm I'm going to jail. >> We're going to determine that where we're going. There are several moments when entitled miners learned the hard way that shoplifting comes with consequences. Starting with the moment that two teenagers took being entitled to a whole new level, making outrageous demands from the cops after getting busted for shoplifting like they were the victims in the situation. >> You bought it or you >> No, those like >> I'm sorry. >> I picked those. >> Okay. >> I did grab those. >> Mhm. >> I can't have that on my record. My record is perfect. >> Yeah. Until today. >> How old are you? >> I'm 17, but I have I would like for one of you guys to go get my phone. >> On August the 21st, 2024 in Florida, officers responded to a call from a local Target where two teens were caught stuffing their bags with jewelry, hair accessories, and snacks. When the cops arrived, they were met with a pair of arrogant and entitled teenagers who acted like getting caught was just a minor inconvenience. Hey, how's it going? >> How's it going? >> Um, so these two young ladies here took everything you see here. I have the receipt. Let me grab it for you. Here's the itemized receipt of what was taken. So, essentially, they came in, went to the jewelry section, grabbed all of that, put it inside of this bag that she was carrying in the white shirt. Um, >> which bag? >> This ladder, the one that says the tote bag on it. Then they moved over to like Health and Beauty. Grabbed this shampoo and like these hair clip things. Went and grabbed these. All that stuff went into that same bag. They tried to bypass points of sale. Stopped them. Escorted them back here. Cold you guys. Do >> you guys have IDs? You don't have none of you have IDs on you at all? How old are you? >> 18. >> 18. You >> 17. >> Remember what we talking about? >> Yeah. >> First year. What's your name? >> How do you spell it? >> R. >> What's up? Uh, we'll talk about all that in a few. >> How much? >> We'll talk about all that in a few minutes. >> Do y'all have the video? >> Yeah. >> Cool. All right. We'll be right in there in a second. >> So, they're What are they right now? >> All right. So, what we got to do >> as far as what do we got to make them aware of of before we even talk to them? Miranda, I just wanted to talk. >> Your mom at >> What's funny? >> Do I know you? >> No, but you're 17. >> Oh, y'all know where where I'm at. She know what I be doing. She know what you be doing? >> No, she know where you're She know about this. But like >> are you do you go to Are you in high school and you too? >> What's up? >> We have to conduct an investigation. >> That's not how this works. >> What? We get >> I don't know. We have to conduct an investigation. >> No. >> What did y'all do? Y'all bro wrote the law, right? >> Yeah. >> And we got called here. So, we have to conduct an investigation. All right. Just uh go ahead and start watching the video. It's all good. Everybody's busy. So, I'll show you. >> We weren't here. 41. >> In a bold and frankly shocking move, the 17-year-old made a request that rireed a pure entitlement, as if she had an upper hand in the situation. As one officer kept the girls in custody, another reviewed the CCTV footage to confirm the full extent of the theft. Meanwhile, the teens sat there unbothered. For them, it wasn't a big deal. They were fully convinced that they would be walking out with nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Teenagers do not go to jail or face the consequences of their actions. So they thought, >> can we just get a trespass? >> I'm sorry. >> Can we just get a trespass? >> We have to figure out what's going to happen. We have to take an investigation. We have to watch the video. We have to talk to the employees here. We have to talk to you guys and then we make a determination. It's not just that simple. >> Can we make a good determination? >> It's not up to you. The good determination would have been to not steal. I don't I don't >> I'mma close this so they don't >> Sorry. You go to the same school or what school is that? >> Play sports? >> Not anymore. >> What sports did you play? >> I did cheer. I did volleyball. I didn't I tried softball, but >> what happened? >> I have to work. Pay bills. >> Pay bills. >> Does your mom know where you're at or dad or who do you live with? >> I live with my mom. >> And you? >> What do you live with? >> My mom. >> Okay. >> She's not. Is that a group of young individuals out there in your cohorts? >> There's a group of kids that look like they're your age out to like five or six. >> Five here. >> Yeah. Outside of Target. >> Did y'all come here alone? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, no big deal. Obviously, I don't know y'all. >> You were boyfriend. >> Yeah. >> That's probably what it is. >> It's not my boyfriend. >> Why your shirt wet? We were at the pool. >> Which one? >> I have my bathing suit on on the campground. Went to the open pool. >> You drive. >> Cool. >> So, can you just please just leave? >> What did I say 5 minutes ago? >> No, I have been calm and patient, too. But Five people so much for [Music] >> where you work at me. >> Pizza place. >> Which one? >> Oh, where is that? >> Uh, the only one. There's only one. >> I don't know where it is. >> Really? >> You got to try it. We have the best pizza on the planet. >> Is that recording? >> My camera. >> It's supposed to always be recording. >> It's on. It's recording. It always has to be recording. >> Well, that's not true. >> Well, I'm in a a room with two little girls and I ain't going to be a better man. >> My camera's always on. >> 18 tattoos already, huh? My first son two days before I turned 17. My second one 17. My third one 3 days before I turned 18. >> I'm tattooless. >> Your parents cool with you getting tatted up? >> I got my butterflies for my grandmother who passed. So it was my mom's mom. So yeah, she was okay with it. That's the one I got at 16. Thank you. [Music] >> The parties are not fighting anymore. They're now separated. >> We hate for you to be texting your ex-boyfriend that's waiting outside for you. >> All right, ladies. I'm going to read this to you. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be used as evidence against you. Do you understand these rights? Are you willing to talk to us? >> Date of birth 06 truck. >> That's >> so far. >> You just forgot your name. >> I figured >> the phonetic alphabetic phonetic. >> All right. Who are we interviewing first? [Applause] separated. >> All right, we'll talk to um Marie first. You can you wait outside, please, Miss Liliana or Lily, whatever it is. [Music] >> At this point, the officers were done playing nice and it was time to turn up the heat, ready to put their smug attitudes under pressure. >> What happened? Why did you guys come here? Okay, we came here because um I wanted the girls day and I want to sleep at her house. So then we went to the pool first. That's where we're all wet. And then >> you're good. You can keep talking. >> We came to Target. Uh she wanted Julie on body wash >> and then she wanted the chips and I said we should leave. Like this is >> but I know it's wrong. So talk to me about all these items in here. >> So there should be some butter. I bought that for because it matches. >> You bought it or you >> No, I was like >> I'm sorry. >> I picked those. >> Okay. >> So why didn't you pay for it? I honestly I know I should have but >> So if you if I asked you to stand up right now and pointed out all these items you stole, would you be able to do that that you did and not her? >> Uh probably not because we I think we got the same things. >> Okay. So you guys were both like >> uh me and it's all both and we also share a lot. So, >> whose idea was it to Who's Whose plan was this >> to come here >> to take from the >> Yeah. Come here and take stuff that you weren't planning on paying for. >> So, originally I wanted to go to Walmart, but I need to put gas at Walmart cuz it's the cheapest. Well, to me, I think Shell or Walmart is the cheapest. So, so then she was relatively tight and I don't know if I said but I just body you came here with the intent to feel heal it [Music] >> and >> well we want to know whose idea was it? >> It wasn't necessarily said like hey let's go in and do this. It was just necessarily just done if that makes sense. It wasn't planned. >> Okay. >> So, when you came in the store, you were planning on paying for everything that you bought? >> No. >> For everything that you stole, you were planning on paying for it? >> No. Like I said, nothing was planned at all. We just walked in and I said, "I need body." And she said she needs Julie. That's exactly why we went through and we're just okay. like it wasn't necessarily set. >> So, who was holding the the bag? >> H. >> And you were put Did she know you were putting things in the bag? >> She did. She put things in the bag, too. >> Who took the chips? >> Was that your boyfriend sitting out there? Afro kid, lightkinned, kind of short. >> Whatever. Sure. >> Okay. Let me talk with her. >> Have you ever done like something like this before or >> you know? >> First time. >> You step out. Come on. >> With one already cracked, it was time to put the pressure on the second. Meanwhile, she was clearly the more entitled and bratty of the pair. And the officers expected nothing but a full-blown performance straight out of the spoiled teen playbook. >> Get up. >> Okay, I'm trying. Why are you yelling at me? >> I told you three times. >> So, let me hear that story. Why Why did you guys come here? when we were trying to get jewelry the just like the fake jewelry because like >> more I don't have no money to get anymore. >> What did you need it for? >> For me so I can wear it. >> Just just to have it. >> Yeah. I got all gold cuz I like to wear gold and I have these and I it's not I want >> Did you come in here with the intent to not pay for it? >> Well, no. But like I kind of like I like coming in here. I might like like look at it and try anyone want it. But no. >> But you said you didn't have any money to buy it. >> Yeah, I know. I had $2. >> Okay. Whose idea was it to come here? >> Nobody did. It >> was nobody's idea. You guys just showed up here? >> We come to circuit all the time. >> So you just figured I'd come hang out? >> Yeah. Have a lot of people walk around here. We're going to meet her boyfriend here, too. >> Why? >> How old are you? >> 17. >> Um, did your mom know that you're here? Have you talked her? >> She knows you're here. >> Yes. >> Does she know you were coming here and was stealing stuff or >> she didn't ask how you were going to buy stuff with no money? >> No. I don't like inform. >> I would I I usually don't have my dad send any money. Okay. >> So, you who was carrying this bag right here? >> I was carrying it, but it's not my bag. >> Okay. Did you you were putting stuff in the bag? Did you know she was putting stuff in the bag? >> I did. Yeah. >> You know, she did. >> Yeah. >> She did, too. >> Well, it's on camera, so I'm just asking. >> So, we asked you to like stand up and point at the items that you put in here specifically. Oh, I I mean I got the chips, but all that jewelry like I'm not going to be able to look at all that. Like I could get a couple. I didn't take a lot of jewelry. >> There's like jewelry. >> Yeah, I didn't take much though. >> There's like 15 or 20 items here. >> Would you like to try and be great? Yeah, I don't want to do that. >> I didn't grab much. >> I did grab this. >> Mhm. [Applause] Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Is there anything in your pockets? >> Turn it out. Turn it inside out. She doesn't have side pockets. >> Okay. >> I do have >> How did you guys get here? >> You ever done anything like this before? First time or >> So, what was the caught? >> What was the straw that broke the camel's back? Like, why would why was today the day that we're like, "All right, I want some jewelry and I'm not paying for it." >> Well, like I don't know. I guess I'm a senior in school now, so I don't have no jewelry. I wanted some jewelry and I think I look better with jewelry now. >> Okay. Did you know that what could have happened had you gotten caught? >> Yeah. Which is why I'm just like sitting here like this. This is stupid. I'm stupid. >> Okay. Can we call Can we call your mom real quick? >> Why? >> We got to tell her we're with you. >> Juvenile. We got to call your mom. and you're detained cuz we're investigating a crime that you committed. So, we need to tell her where you're at and we're talking to you. >> We'll tell her when >> we got to tell you where you are, what you did, and why we're here. So, I mean, we're either we stand here for the next 40 48 hours and we call DCF until we figure out who your parents are or >> you give us the password, your phone, and we call your mom. What's the password? >> I don't Why would I tell you that? You can watch me call. >> Put the password. >> And I think my dad texted. >> As the investigation was getting wrapped up, it was now time for the officers to lay down the consequences. The show was over. And now these entitled teens were about to face the reality check they never saw coming. >> Hey, it's okay. Don't freak out. Okay. >> All right. So, you turn around and put your hands on your back, please. [Music] >> Being placed under arrest for petty theft and contributing to a joint. >> Do you remember where you parked your car? >> Yeah, I think. >> You think I think Are you being honest about your name? >> It's pretty It's tight. >> It's tight. I can fit my whole finger in there. >> This one. Yeah. >> Let's put 214 fiber. >> Yeah. Whiskey this way. Wait, wait, wait. >> I got a question. >> No, stand over there. >> I can tell her. >> No, not right now. >> It doesn't concern you. >> No, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. Just do what they tell you to do. Breathe. >> Hold on. Hold on. Let's uh before we do that, let's see if we have a female toate. >> All right. When we finish our investigation, we'll be happy to answer your questions. >> Appreciate it. >> I here it's here and here. I literally have this here. Take it. >> You can't even have that. You're not even old enough here. [Music] >> Can you please >> Where's your car at? >> I don't know. >> Park is right over there >> on the right. Hey. Um, I think >> Okay, >> it's >> stand over there. I'm just asking is did you park over there? >> I parked. >> So, it's a green go. >> I think it's that >> it's green or white? >> It's green, but it's my lights are on somewhere. >> How do you not know where you parked? Whatever. We'll we'll use your keys and we'll find >> Am I getting arrested? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Petty theft and contributing to >> You got a felony. >> Not good. What does that mean? >> It means she will help you deal with her and she's a minor. >> A felony is a more severe charge than a misdemeanor. You're being charged with both. So, it's not good. Any prior theft convictions? Did they say a female is coming? >> Yeah. >> So, you're being you're being arrested, >> Miss Ma'am. I just don't like it. Miss Adriana, >> I don't like it at all, bro. >> What's good? You're being arrested for petty theft. All right. Because you stole from Target. Do you understand that? >> I understand that. >> Okay. And contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Your friend there is 17 and you contributed to her stealing. You contributed to her breaking the law and she's under the age of uh 18. So because you coerced a juvenile to break >> I didn't co her. >> Well, you're an adult, right? It doesn't feel like it, but you are. >> The harsh truth that she wasn't getting away this time was finally sinking in. And it was a bitter pill to swallow. >> Booked in and get booked in. You'll get be given a bond you out in the morning. >> I don't know. >> Bond. Uh probably I would say 1,500 maybe 2,000. Oh, that pizza money might pay off. [Music] >> Do you have anything on you? Uh, Adriana, what do you have aside from the vape? Any on you? Anything tucked in your areas? What do you have? >> Can I let go first? >> What do you have, Adriana? What you have? >> Oh, it was just a candy. >> That's it? >> Yeah. >> What kind of candy? Like a THC? >> What >> is it? Like THC? Like a gummy or just like a regular like Skittles or something? Okay. >> Where is it? In your underwear or is it in your pants? >> What are you doing? Why is it in there? >> Because I knew something was going to happen cuz I'm 18 and I didn't know what to do. Like I should have never >> You know what tampering with evidence is? >> I didn't tamper. I don't know what's going on. >> You put it in there with the intent to conceal it from What is it? Just what kind of candy is that? >> Just twigs. I swear to God, bro. I mean Twizzlers, whatever the hell you call them. >> You got it from here. >> Here, please. >> What? >> Can you just move it? >> You got it from here? >> Yes. >> Where? Where did you When did you grab it when you first walked in or when you were leaving or does your ex-boyfriend have any guns or anything? No. so that we don't have to worry about him getting mad at us and trying to us or anything. >> No, he just wants to know how much the pawn is. >> Oh, that's cute. How old is he? >> 18. >> What's he move forward? >> Anony's Pizza look just like me. [Music] So, you >> lean up or don't lean up. >> Lean up on the car. You're good. Just relax. I know it's a lot going on, but >> No, I just don't like it when people touch me. >> Yeah. Well, when you get arrested, that's what happens. >> I I know, but I I >> kind of forfeit that, right? >> That's not fair. I I really don't like when people touch me. That's why I don't want to go to jail, bro. >> Listen Listen to me. All right. I don't I think you're I think you're a nice girl. I think you made a mistake. I did, but I don't want to get touched in jail, bro. >> But listen to what I'm saying. >> Can you listen? >> Yes. >> Okay. As long as you do as you're told and you don't do anything silly, >> it's going to be smooth. >> Straight. Come right here. >> 4.0, bro. >> Okay. >> That's my problem. I don't know what goes on in jail. I don't want to get touched by nobody. >> Okay. Well, as long as you behave and you don't do anything runchy, we'll be all good. Anyone? My face. >> Huh? >> My face. Oh, this is fantastic, bro. >> You made a mistake. >> I did. But the crazy part is I'm not supposed to be hanging out with her. My mother was like, "Don't do it." Cuz every time I hang out with her, cops get involved. >> And look what you did. And now you're going to jail. >> Yes. Exactly. >> Have you ever heard the saying, "Watch the company keep." And she's not going to jail. You know why? >> I know. Cuz she doesn't give a She's 17. >> Cuz she's 17. So she's going to get charges forwarded up and slap on her wrist essentially. >> Bro, I don't want to go to jail, bro. >> You probably get it expuned and be all good. >> I don't know what that means. >> So because because you will be getting a theft charge on your record, which goes with you forever. on my record. >> So, you'll have to get that expuned if you ever want like a real job. >> I can't have that on my record. My record is just perfect. >> Yeah. Until today. >> The reality of the consequences of her actions was hitting harder with every passing second. If she could, she would turn back the hand of time. >> But I can get that removed. You can get it expuned, which means like nobody will ever be able to see it, but you'll have to if you ever get like a government job or anything. Can >> I be a nurse? >> Yeah, you can be a nurse. >> Okay. >> When you're only 18 and you made a silly mistake at the age of 18, which happens, but >> I know, but I'm literally going to college after this. >> Yeah, you have to tell them about this. >> I have to tell my college. >> Yeah. tell us they'll revoke your application. >> It's better just tell the truth. >> But what if they don't accept me? >> What do you mean? >> Like what if they like know? >> Well, you're going to have to explain the situ I mean most most applications you have to explain like the circumstances. >> I don't want this to stop me from being a nurse. >> Well, I can't give you any type of legal advice. So, what I would do is I would say I made a silly mistake hanging with the wrong crowd and I learned my whatever. you learn your lesson and it won't happen again and blah blah blah. >> Could I still get my scholarship? >> I mean, you technically lose it. I mean, what you what's your scholarship for? >> I was I was planning on doing the bright futures. I did the hours. All I had to do is take the test. >> Yeah. I don't know about that one. I mean, so like you know when like these really good athletes like are doing really good in sports and then they get arrested for like charges and or like they girlfriend and they lose everything. I mean that could technically happen but I don't know maybe uh good evening deputy lip. >> Hello ma'am. >> She has some she said she has some candy or something tucked in her somewhere. >> Do you know me? >> Probably grew up here. I know you cuz I remember last year I had a boyfriend and this old man smacked me and we called the cops and I like your tattoo. >> Okay. Well, nice to see you again. Well, obviously not in these circumstances. Um, but I'm going to ask you before I >> search obviously. Do you have anything hidden anywhere, girl? >> I got you one. >> This right there. Okay. Because I'm just going to let you know once you take it, it goes into the gild. Okay. I know. I want you to take it. So, here's one. >> Oh, and then that. Yeah. Sorry about that. >> And then I might have my ring from here. You might want to >> Yeah, I'm going to go throw all your pockets. All right. >> Wait, are you going to throw away my rings? >> Am I going to throw them away? No. >> Okay. >> They're either there or my car. That's >> No, that's mine for sure. That's not from Target. I swear to God. I see you see the pictures on my phone. I swear to God. >> You just do your favorite faces. There you go. Now you're good. Do you have a bra on? >> Uh, you could check. It's It's a a bikini, so you could really just put my shirt up. It's a bikini. >> You have a bikini outfit? >> Yes. >> Appreciate it. What beach would you go to? Froggy's beach. >> Um, yeah. So, I went by Froggy Beach. So, we used to uh her parents, they would resort like this RV resort. So, and they have a pool. So, that's where we usually go. >> Nothing inside of these pockets. >> Just the padding. >> H. All good. >> All good. >> Yeah. >> As she stepped into the back of the cruiser, it felt like her entire world was collapsing. Meanwhile, her 17-year-old friend remained unbothered. Probably thinking her age would earn her nothing more than a light warning. But she was treading on dangerous waters, and one more misstep could land her in territory she was not ready for. >> My phone back. I don't even play. I don't even have it hanging on my chest. >> No, >> I think I can get my phone back. Well, then you go to jail for resistance. We're telling you no. >> Just talk to my mother. >> Yeah. So, when she gets here, we'll give you your phone. >> Why can't you? >> I just told you. Or waiting for your mom to get a day or a bad day. >> Not really. Not a good day. >> This is how it looks. Great. Then the door everything and separate and then the receipt going to go with us. >> You don't have my phone in the picture. Technically, it's your mom's phone. You can't own property because you're a human. So it doesn't matter if you can't play. That's your mom. Just FYI. >> No. >> Are you okay? >> No. I've actually been put over here. Yeah. here. Just to look like No, you're not even old enough to be back. >> 11year-old take a picture of the bag >> to show that you used it. >> Wait for mom. >> Mom gets you. Put her in the one of somebody's car. >> I don't want to be in no car. I just right next to about that. All right, sir. Do you have any questions about anything? >> Yeah, we'll bring all >> Let's go. >> Oh, you can. Oh, >> resist, please. >> All right. Don't be grabbing me like that. Yo, >> don't do that, please, because that hurt. >> And I'm being calm, but that hurt. >> Yeah. Well, now now we're going to hold on to you because you wanted to fight in there. >> Who wanted to fight? Let go of me, bro. I'm not even resisting. >> I'm not going to let go of you now. >> I'm not even resisting, bro. Can you please let go of me? That hurts. I'm not in a resist, bro. >> Then stop tensing up. >> Let go of me. Get my phone. Don't >> get your phone, Mom. >> You might have to put in the back of your damn car. >> You have a second pair of cuffs on you, Deputy Murphy. >> Yeah. So, we'll just put her in cuffs in the back and then >> until mom gets here, >> bro. No, bro. >> Cuz why are they like so hard? Can you put these on me? >> I'm going search you. Chill. >> Crazy, bro. >> Uhhuh. What the I did that before. >> She's 18. Are you stupid? >> Guys, quit it. >> She's 18. Stupid. Don't blame that on me. >> Let's go back here. >> Listen, you're not even under arrest. I mean, you're going to slap on the wrist. >> I'm listening to you. You don't have to be. >> Yeah, she's just going to search. Do >> you have anything in your pocket? No, I have nothing in my pocket. >> How old are you? >> I'm 17. But I have I would like for one of you guys to go get my phone, please. >> Well, go get it. >> Where's your phone at? It's in the room that they just >> We'll grab it as soon as this is done. >> A little bit. All right. I would like to I would like for it to be in my like I have it's on a chain and it can connect to my neck. >> I get it. But you're going to sit in the back of the car right now and whenever anybody sits in the back of your car. I'm not going to I can't My mom's on her way here. >> Yeah, it should be quick. It's like a timeout. >> I'll just I'll just chill on my bed like this. I don't want to stay in the car. >> In the end, the 18-year-old was hit with charges for petty theft and aiding the delinquency of a minor, while the 17-year-old was trespassed from Target. These two teenagers were entitled, no doubt. But they were nothing compared to this police captain's daughter who thought her mom's badge gave her a five finger discount at a local Walmart shop until she got a harsh dose of reality check. >> I told you the phone. >> My mom's a captain of the police department. >> Mom. Mom. Mom. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Call the lawyer. >> Set up. >> Come on. We'll help you out. On April the 8th, 2024 in Florida, officers responded to a Walmart after reports of a woman skip scanning items at the selfch checkckout. When they arrived, they were met with an entitled brat who thought her mom's badge as a police captain gave her a free pass to shoplift. >> Her ID. >> Yes. >> M. Sorry. >> I'm married now. >> Oh, okay. >> It's an older ID. >> I got you. Is this uh your most current one though? >> It's not. So, right before here, I was actually in a car accident where I called the police and I gave my ID from the accident to here. I don't know what happened to the ID. >> Is it a New York ID though? Are you from New York? >> It's a Florida one. >> You have a Florida D or a Florida ID? Okay. >> You're resident of Florida or New York or both? >> I'm a resident of Florida. Technically, we moved to Florida in August because all my family lives here in Florida. However, we're having a house built in New York, so eventually we're going back. >> Okay. But you live here now? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. So, you're being detained by the police, so I have to read you your rights before we have a conversation. Okay. Don't freak out. This is a normal procedure whenever you're detained. Okay? So, just listen to all these. If any questions, um, let me know, but pretty straightforward. Okay? So, the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk with to a lawyer. Have your lawyer present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, excuse me, cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before questioning. If you decide to answer any questions now without a lawyer present, you still have the right to stop answering any time and speak with a lawyer. Do you understand all those rights just read? Do I need to reread them for you? Do you understand? Okay. Would you like to answer any questions? No. Okay. Just hang tight for me. All right. >> Can you pull the phone down for me, please, so we can ask you some questions? >> They're both here. >> Yes or no? >> You going to put the phone down? Okay. Well, hold on cuz they're yelling at me now. >> Okay. >> What is your name? >> Amber. >> You have a Florida deal? >> I'm sorry. >> Do you have a Florida driver's license? >> Yes, I do. >> Where is that? >> I don't know. >> Loose attitude. Okay. >> You have one, too. With all due respect, I didn't do nothing wrong. I didn't say nothing to you. >> What is your last name? >> You have an attitude. >> What is your last name? >> Spell it. >> A. >> Okay. This deputy is the deputy in the case and he says you need to stay off the phone so listen to him. Thank you. >> Despite the repeated warnings to stay off her phone, she continued to ignore the officers like they were beneath her. For some reason best known to her, she was convinced that she'd walk out of that store scot-free and that the cops didn't deserve even a shred of respect. Her mom was a police captain after all. >> All right, I tried to be nice. I told you to get off the phone. >> My mom's a captain of the police. Mom. Mom. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> I'm not even Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Get here. I'm not Mom. [ __ ] Mom. Call the lawyers. >> So, get back in here, please. >> I'm not even doing anything. >> Stop resisting and put your arm behind your back now. >> There's nothing wrong with being on the phone until I'm under arrest. You're going to get a resistance shot. Do you understand me? >> I'm literally laying here not doing anything. >> Put your arm behind your back. I'm >> not fighting. >> Put your arm behind your back. >> Put your hand drop. Move your hand. >> Mom, mom get a All mastic. I'm not on your shoulder. >> I'm not resisting. Mom. Your mom. Please let me lay down. I feel >> sit up. Be an adult. >> Be an adult and sit up. You're going to >> you're going to Okay. >> Messing around. She is >> acting as though she sees her battery. Mom, I tell him I have Please, I don't need any am. >> You want to sit up like an adult now? >> See, I can't. I can't. >> You can't sit up. >> I swear to God, my kids life. >> Okay. I don't want to come check her out. >> Because she would >> Well, it's probably best that we stand you up and walk you outside. >> I need a leg here. Just one minute. >> Well, it's probably not going to benefit you in any way. >> It is. I have suffered from this for all my life. Right. But you're in a your hands are handcuffed behind your back. That's a position that's not typically good for people that are breathing. >> You want to try sitting up now? >> I don't I don't know if I'm dead. >> They're going to help you. >> From my chest. >> From your chest. It hurts >> here. You want to do like a sternum round? >> Are you sure? >> Yes. >> Do you have asthma? It's not bad. >> Is that helping you? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Okay. We're going to have anyone's come just to check you out. >> Make sure you're okay. >> Okay. Hey. How old, >> ma'am? How old are you? >> 30. >> 30. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> You get up onto this chair right here. Okay. >> Okay. >> Ready? One, two, three. Okay. >> I need someone to call my hospital. >> Okay. >> I need my medication. >> Well, you can tell the medics about your medical related matters. Okay. >> I have medication that they can't give me. They >> Well, the jail does. >> You're going to jail. So, >> what's your address? If you cooperate from here, I might make a phone call for your husband to come take this stuff. Okay? You continue to give me problems, I will not care. All right? Very simple. >> But I technically have to poverty because I know the law. >> My parents, >> what did you 30 years? >> No. This is what used to say. >> How long did they get here? My god. >> At this point, she was banking on her dramatic performance to earn her some sympathy because clearly her mom's title hadn't done the trick. >> Why didn't you mention this prior? >> I told my husband, swear to God on my kids life, I told my husband, if you watch the cameras, go into the beginning of the game. I took M&F off the shelf and I was eating it for my health. Check the >> It's just funny how you only have your post our uh post our issue. >> When I'm under a lot of stress, it's not happen. >> Go ahead and tell the medics what's going on. I don't hospital. >> I just want you to know it's not going to delay you going to jail. Like you are going to the hospital. I I I told them I don't need an ambulance. I refused it. I said that from the beginning. >> But you can't tell us that you're having and us not doing anything about it. >> Tell anybody it. >> Okay. >> So, she's medically okay. >> We can literally get medical record to be expected in her situation else. >> Okay. And you're refusing to go with them? >> Yes, I am. >> Okay. Perfect. >> Whether she wanted a medical checkup or not was her choice, but one thing was certain. She was headed to jail. And just as the officer was prepping her for transport, they uncovered something else. Another twist that was sure to pile even more charges on top of her shoplifting mess. >> Do you have a floor deal card? Cuz she's indicating that's not coming back. >> What's under that name? >> If you call my husband, he has everything. >> Why would I? You're an adult, lady. >> I I was on call. I got in trouble for that. There's nothing I could do. He has my medication. He >> Are you 15? Why would I call your >> Oh, that I can't prove anything to you. >> Where's your >> Okay, so you want to risk giving me false information. I'm trying to give you an opportunity. >> What would you like me to do about that? >> I would like you to explain why she can't find your Florida deal. >> Or I'm going to charge you under the name that you've given me. If that's wrong, that's going to be additional charge. >> I don't know what to tell you. I came to DMV. You just go ahead and do the search here. >> Yeah. Can I get gloves? >> It's in that wallet there. >> Yes. >> Does she have >> Well, you had a bunch of stuff fall out. >> That's okay. No, it wouldn't fall out. It's in >> got fast forward. Who's Summer with Summer's name on it? >> This says Johnny. >> Johnny's my son. >> This one is a gift card. >> That's you. >> That's me. You said you have the girdle on for what? for this guy. It's freaking New York. Texas. As the weight of her action started crashing down on her and reality hit hard, she finally realized just how deep of a mess she had gotten herself into. >> So, this is a trespass warning. If you return, you will be arrested. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> It's indefinite. >> What is >> like forever? Like until unless they decide differently, it's in place for forever. I'm sorry. Is that like any Walmart in United States? >> What's your husband's number? >> This one. Okay. >> Oh my god. >> I don't know why you're freaking out. I'm being very easy right now. >> I know. >> Because I want to go. >> Wait. >> Wait. >> It's 01 face. >> Okay. Yes. >> Which one? >> My husband. My husband. >> My husband. see who you want to come get this stuff >> before I call. >> Um, >> can you ask first if there's somewhere to leave my kids? >> No. >> Well, I don't want my kids to come in this room. >> That's not my problem. >> Yes. >> You have you burned through any good graces with me? >> I'm not here to be your best friend. I'm not looking for you to be my best friend. >> Well, I'll just leave the stuff here and just take you to jail. So that was the last time. Do you want >> Who do you want me to call? >> That's the only person. >> Okay. Can he come here and get this stuff? There's no point calling him if he can't come here and get this stuff. Okay. All right. >> Says person you're trying to reach is not accepting. Hi, I'm trying to reach Natalie. >> Hey Natalie, can you come to Walmart 55520 Street Vo Beach? Pick up your daughter's belongings and purse and groceries. Okay. Can you just wait outside? Don't come up to the door. I'll come get you and you can come get the stuff after. Okay. All right. Guess she's already here. >> All right. So, Natalie will take the software stuff, correct? >> All hers good to go. >> Yeah. >> All right. You only want to take your phone with you. You're not going to get down to jail, make a fit that you don't have your cards, credit cards. >> I >> All right. You can't Who who's going to bail you out of jail? You're not going to complain that I didn't Okay, whatever. I tried. >> Wait, what happened? >> You got to bail out of jail. >> Yeah, I know that. But what do you mean? My cards. >> You can pay with a credit or debit card to bail out of jail. Even at her age, her entitlement was way off the charts, counting on her parents to swoop in and bail her out like they always did. Anyways, the officers didn't care who bailed her. All he wanted was for her to act right and teach her a hard lesson that she wouldn't forget anytime soon. >> All right. Not going to be any other issues getting you to my patrol car, right? We're going to be >> No, I'm fine now. I know you don't believe me, but it's going to have problem. >> Well, your actions will dictate. Okay. >> So, let's Your actions will dictate. If you're if you're cool with me, if you buck again on our problem, I will dump you again to the ground. Okay. I I don't want to do that. Let's have a nice easy >> Listen, you have a job. I told you my stand up. Can you help? >> Sure. No problem. >> Your mom's not going to give us a hard time out there, is she? >> Uh, she's a little crazy. >> She also from New York. >> From the Bronx. >> Okay. I got family. I'm Italian. I understand. >> Sure. She's Puerto Rican. That's all. I got to come back here and get paperwork done. >> Can you take those stickers off my leg or not? Really? >> Yeah, you can. >> Yeah, if it helps you. >> Just that your mom. Can you just wait one second right there? >> Mom, leave me. Right. She's been checked out by medics. She's fine. >> She refused medical. Come on. >> If you step up here with one foot, we can help you get up. >> Oh, hold on. Can you push my butt? >> Yep. >> I know I'm overweight here. Put your leg in. >> Okay. I'm okay. >> They're going to take those off you at the You want your seatelt on? >> Uh, no. I don't need it right now. >> Okay. They're going to take those off you at the jail. Okay. I don't want to like rip your skin. >> That's okay. Okay. >> All right. You want to come get the groceries? >> I want to know what's going on. >> Okay. She's going to jail for one, shoplifting. >> Shoplifting. >> Okay. She says she missed a scam. >> Okay. There's video of it happening. Walmart wants to prosecute. She's going to jail for shoplifting. >> Shoplifting in one manner. She missed a scam. She took something with >> She's going to jail for shoplifting. >> She's also She's also going to jail for resisting. She was fighting this deputy all because she wouldn't get off the phone. She was asked to multiple times would not get off. >> I was on the phone with her. >> I know. Then she acted as though she was having a seizure. We had EMS come check her out. She said, "I don't need an ambulance. I don't want to go to the hospital. This is stupid. I don't know why you guys have had them come here." They checked her out. All her levels are good. Blood sugar, everything that she could have possibly complained of. Everything. >> So that's a little weird. >> That's exactly what EMS said. So, would you like to come inside to get her belongings? >> Yes. In the end, she was charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, obstructing justice, and resisting arrest. Just like Amber, these two teenagers were convinced they could outsmart the cops after being caught shoplifting from a department store. >> So, we're going to work, >> but we didn't take nothing. >> She had stuff concealed in her bag, too. I just unfortunately >> don't know what. Yeah. >> Okay. So, we know though that she for surely >> Yes. >> stole. Okay. On March the 14th, 2024 in Muskego, Wesha County, Wisconsin, officers responded to a department store over a shoplifting report involving two teen girls. On arrival, the officers confronted the teens, Asanti and Amore, who had concealed some goods in their bags. The teens, upon citing the officers, hurried back to the store to drop off the stolen items. They were confident they could outsmart the cops and evade the consequences of their actions, as this wasn't their first rodeo. I'm stand for it. >> Oh, I'm sorry. >> So, we going to do like nothing. But we didn't take nothing. >> You attempted to take stuff and then you went back into the store and fixed it. >> We didn't though. We had stuff in our hand. We never left out with it. We >> This lady was on the phone with the asset protection guy. They said they even got you on camera. Okay. So all the stuff that you'll be able to see too. Okay. We didn't just show up here out of nowhere if you know what I mean. >> So just go in front of the court cameras and they'll deal with it. individual. >> So, we got to we got to get charged today and then there's a lot of questions we got to answer. Have you you know, have you been arrested before that? >> Yes, we have. >> Okay. Have you been arrested before? >> Everybody's still eating. Do y'all see that? Exactly. >> I know. I know that the lost agent lost her. She does have >> so I have to figure out you got to figure out the known subject with the orange hair registered on her that you didn't successfully take anything but the attempt for Easter that's so irritating >> we have you going to take her I'll identify her and then I'm going to put you guys in a second okay >> you're going to take her I have not surgery Why don't >> as some officers secured the girls, another headed over to the store employee who caught them to get the full story and figure out exactly what went down. >> Okay. This is something they initially pushed out. >> Uh yeah, they concealed it in their bags. >> Okay. Uh active active. >> Perfect. Uh anyone else with them that you know of? >> Just the two that I saw. >> Um could you uh come up with like a receipt on this of how much like this >> you want it combined otherwise I can try to figure out unfortunately that one um I don't have I didn't have consuming on camera. >> The one in orange she had consuming on camera. >> She consumed. Okay. She did not though. >> Uh she had stuff concealed in her bag too. I just unfortunately >> don't know what you want. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, we know though that she for surely >> Yes. >> stole. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Cuz like I know she was walking around with these. >> Okay. >> For a little bit and then I think >> we said we're 100% that she >> concealed. >> Concealed cuz she had the Nike things. I think she had socks. >> We're just not sure what all cuz they brought the stuff back in. So, we found it all. So, I say we just do a combined total together >> and for both of them as Yeah. Well, they push it out. So, >> right out, we're good. >> Um, so he's going to get a receipt and start working on that, but there's enough for her, too. Um >> Um, so I know he's going to get a receipt for that and work on it. I'd like to get photos just like we did for our last one. >> I won't we won't put anything away. I can take photos of the stuff. That's not a problem. >> Worry about dealing with uh >> I can assist here. >> Yeah, worry about dealing with her. Get her 1080. I'll get photos of this and price-wise and then work on videos >> and we're not going to separate them. >> We we can't I mean like we just know they concealed items both together it >> I'd imagine. >> Do we have any priors with them? >> Yes. Or I don't know if we do but they do both have been arrested for >> just do all county with it regardless. We'll set it up together for combined total. With the details of the theft now locked in, the officers prepared to transport the suspects to jail while hoping they could get through it without any of the usual teenage drama blowing up. >> If you just want to do the full search, here's Let's move. >> I appreciate your cooperation, man. We'll get through this. >> We're as decent with you as you are with us. >> So, we're going to pull the squat up so you don't have to walk in the rain. I'm going to put you in a nice dry heated squad and we're just going to figure this out. >> So, I'm just going to follow everything that we're expected to do. You >> check already. >> Same for everybody. Same for everything that put you in the spot >> and that's just going to go with us. >> Okay. >> I'll put it in the front with us and it'll just stay with you. >> Okay. >> You good? >> Yep. So, Aaron just did a search. >> Yep. We'll just do another quickie at the squad. [Music] >> So, one quickie just for before we put you in the squad. Go ahead. >> Separate your feet for me. [Music] >> We just don't know yet. Same thing. >> Okay. Cuz we did not leave out the store with nothing. We had stuff in our hand, but we did not leave out with nothing. >> Don't look at the videos. We're kind of going by what we have. I >> cannot be doing this stuff. Like, no. Got to do a side. >> All right, >> we'll figure it out, man. Thanks for your cooperation. >> So crazy. [Applause] >> Yeah. Can I like I'm so irritated. Like this is like >> Yeah. Yeah. We'll let you as soon as we can. We'll let you use the phone. >> Okay. Please. >> Yep. >> Yeah. We just got to figure this out. Tell my friend if you have the rest of the distance she come with us. >> Uh it just depends on Yeah. So if if if she's not arrested, you are and she can't stay with you then, >> right? Yeah, I understand. >> But we'll figure it out. >> Okay. >> Okay. And like I said, as soon as we know things, we'll let you know. You're being decent. I appreciate it. So I'll just let you know everything I know. But I'm going to hang out with you until we figure it out. See what they need. I'll hang out. With one suspect successfully secured in the back of the cruiser, the officers turned their attention to the other, still hoping she'd be just as cooperative as her friend. >> This is ridiculous. >> I'm getting picked up, too. >> So, when I'm going to go to the district, >> well, how did you steal? You know, you guys attempted to steal. >> I didn't count. >> Okay, there you go. That's your answer. You're going to go to the proper go to county >> county >> the jail like >> just out of nowhere she dropped a bombshell believing to get some kind of special treatment >> this I'm pregnant too so can you please not put a treat I'm >> 15 weeks William first up, can you take your >> Oh, no. So, can you explain to me again cuz I don't know why I'm keep being arrested. >> Because you put items in your purse. No idea. So, entertainment. She called 1080. I didn't put nothing in my purse. >> Why my phone right there, too? >> This is ridiculous. [Music] >> How long does it cost? I have like got to be at work. whenever you can. Officer Cortezy. >> Yes. >> I guess uh for prior um retail theft and we'll kind of figure out >> 14. >> However many times you been arrested prior for retail theft is going to play. >> I don't know what they are. >> So >> what will they find? >> I think I'm taking >> I'm taking I thought I was taking Amari. Okay. >> I don't know who was taking what, but I just know >> I don't I'm not here to debate it with you. >> I got it. >> Okay. >> We don't have no like if it should be on camera if that's the >> if that's what y'all got to call about. [Applause] >> Um, I'm going to double check to see which car you guys have. >> Three. >> All right. Officer Pat is standing by. >> This is ridiculous. >> I got my car out over there. Where did Gamson go? I think maybe >> why you got to >> It's a requirement. Unless you want to sit down right now, you can do that. >> Cuz while you're standing, that's just something that they require us to do cuz believe it or not, people intentionally fall over and act like we push them. What happens? We getting accused >> accused cuz I didn't take >> this is ridiculous man. I got you never see people. >> How long this tail 14? What's your 20? >> Depends. >> So what's going on? >> Huh? >> What's going on? >> We're organizing stuff. We're figuring out what we're going to do with the car. You're going to get you in a squad here and then probably going to jail. Okay. >> I'm going to jail. >> Mhm. >> Why? for a retail theft. >> Why am I going to jail? I didn't take nothing. >> For a retail theft, ma'am, we already Okay. >> Jail. >> Jail. Yeah. Walk County Jail. Okay. >> Why? >> Because he committed a crime. >> No, I didn't, bro. I don't know what happened. I didn't. >> But if it's not on camera that I took anything, then what's going on? >> They trying to take us to jail. We need to take >> If you attempt to leave, that's still a crime. >> Even if you don't take it. >> Hi. Who are you? >> I need you to wait outside for me. >> Okay. Talk to them. >> Not right now. No, we >> ma'am. >> When she when she knows, she'll let you know. >> Her teeth come here. I'm going to get it. I didn't even That's too tight. >> The duo was eventually charged with retail theft. Up next is a wild case of reckless teenagers whose escape plan after being caught on a shoplifting heist included running over a cop with a vehicle. >> Go. >> Okay. Okay. >> Hey, you're going to jail. Stop. >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not trying to resist. I swear. >> Stop resisting. >> Hit him with the car. >> Don'ting move. On July the 22nd, 2022 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, officers responded to what seemed like a routine shoplifting call at a local TJ Maxx. On arrival, they swung straight into action, identifying the involved suspects. And that was just the beginning of a wild and unpredictable night. >> Kick these ones out or >> um about our tag team. We've been hit like 14 times in the last 2 hours. It's absolutely >> I don't know. Sorry. Target. >> Yeah. So, we're going to go to the front of my vehicle. >> Meanwhile, the officers didn't realize the other half of the teenage tag team was slipping into a getaway car. What could have ended with just a trespass warning was about to take a sharp turn as the teen escalated things and added yet another bad decision to the list. Stop go. >> Okay. Okay. >> Now you're going to jail. >> No. I'm sorry. >> Now you're going to jail. >> I'm sorry, sir. >> Stop. >> I just stop. >> Stop. Please. >> Stop. I'm not trying to resist. Sir, >> stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. >> The officer, completely unaware that she had a partner, didn't realize he was in a dangerous and quickly escalating situation. These two weren't your average shoplifterss. They were ready to do whatever it took to make their escape. Stop resisting me. >> Hey pretend I'm outside. [Applause] >> Get away. She was trying to get close enough for her to jump into the thing, but I would have let her. >> Were you standing right here? >> No, I was sitting like right here. So, she was right there. She was holding >> and she was trying to go inside. What started as a routine shoplifting call had morphed into something much more serious. The officers weren't about to let it slide. They were determined to collect every shred of evidence to make sure this reckless shoplifter didn't just walk away from the mess that she had made. >> When they ran out, you chased her jump in the other car there. So, >> can I see you, sir? Can I talk? >> Oh, I got my license. >> Yeah, that's fine. No worries. Thank you for talking to me. >> Yeah. >> Oh, sorry. that person, >> dude. So that's why I scooted this way. >> Sorry, brother. >> No, you're good. You're good. >> I know. I was telling her, "Where's your at?" >> If I would have been a direct threat, I would have dropped her and I would have just sunk at her. >> I appreciate you, sir. >> Okay. No problem. When this person went in, I was like, "They pants all down here." I'm like, "They up to something." And I was watching when he he say it was a girl. >> It was a girl. As soon as we walk, she takes running. I catch up catch her up to by where the front of my vehicle is >> and I handicop her. >> Just when the dust seemed to settle, the cops got word that another shoplifter was still hiding somewhere inside the store. In that moment, it was obvious the chase wasn't over and another showdown was about to unfold. >> You have another one in there. >> She said, "Yeah, >> yeah." >> Come outside with me. >> Can I Can I say one thing? Can Can you ask the lady with the glasses to like look at the cameras? She just came and talked to me. There's nothing from their store. >> Regardless of the fact, if they don't want to do business with you as a private business, they have that right. >> I understand that. >> Were you with the other two girls that just took off running outside? >> No. And I know why she thinks I was because that little girl stopped me and asked me a question. and she said, "What are you doing?" Because I know her from I'm going to say an ex best friend. >> What's her name? >> I couldn't even tell you her name. If you give me a minute, I might be able to think of it. >> So, step outside real quick, though. >> Okay. Honestly, like though, I can't >> Okay, real quick. Hold on. Hold on. And she goes, "Oh, it's like that." >> Come here. You trespassed for 3 years from this location. As soon as you come back, you are going to jail. >> Okay. >> Okay. Give me your favorite sign right there. >> Thank you. >> I apologize for that. >> Now, it was time for the cops to confront the reckless shoplifter who had put his life on the line. She was about to realize how deep a mess she was in and that there was no getting away. >> What's your name, ma'am? >> Angelica. >> Do you have an ID? >> No. >> You have no ID? >> No. >> How old are you? >> I'm sorry. >> 19. >> Where do you live at, Angelica? Here's a case of an entitled 19-year-old who thought a few tears and a half-hearted apology were enough to erase getting caught shoplifting at Walmart. [Music] Please, I don't want to go home. >> I don't think I've ever heard a grown woman cry. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay, >> I am. I'm sorry. >> You know, I noticed a lot. People are only sorry after they get caught. It's pretty crazy. They're not sorry why they do it, >> but they're sorry when they get caught. >> On August the 16th, 2023 in Roswell, New Mexico, officers responded to a local Walmart after a 19-year-old was caught walking out without paying for her hall. When they arrived, they found her in the parking lot trying to slip away quietly. >> Are you gone? >> Okay, let go. Let go. >> Come this way. >> Let go. >> Come this way, >> please. I want to go. >> No. Don't put me tight. Please. [Music] Owie. Owie. [Music] I don't know what's going on. >> Please tell me what's going on. >> Like many before her, she broke down in tears and pretended she had no idea what was going on. She played the victim and hoped nothing had been caught on camera. But the officers were not new to the game. They headed straight to the store's loss prevention office where the cold hard truth would be laid bare. [Music] [Music] >> I'm scared. >> Oh no. Please. [Music] Oh my mommy. [Music] >> Please tell me what's going on. >> You're under arrest for shoplifting. What are you crying for? >> Because I'm scared. >> Are you crying cuz you got caught? >> No, because I know I didn't. >> I don't know what you just said. >> I know I should. >> Then why'd you do it? >> I don't know. >> It's not a very good reason, is it? >> I know. This up here. >> This hurts my wrist, though. >> Well, they're not supposed to be comfortable for you. >> It's cutting. But it's cutting my wrist. >> Okay. Well, they're going to get taken off in a second. Can you just calm down? I don't think I've ever heard a grown woman cry. >> Do those sunglasses belong, dude? >> Yes, I do. I'm being super nice. >> Why is he being so mean? >> I didn't talk to you. >> Take a deep breath. >> He said, "Wow, such a great name. That's mean. >> He's just being nice about it." >> She could cry all she wanted, but the officers weren't buying the act. Tears or not, they were just getting started and things were about to get a whole lot hotter for her. My name is Harold. Carol, [Music] I don't want to go to jail. I'm scared. [Music] I'm sorry. >> And I was supposed to be at Cory yesterday. >> How do you spell? I didn't know who was it yesterday. I thought it was next Tuesday. >> Who knows? I thought it was going to be next Tuesday and I just spent in yesterday. Okay. >> You're like, "No, call the courts." You don't want to do a letter. >> Just call the courts and let them know. Was it municipal court? >> Yeah. >> Just call Richardson. >> Just call them and let them know. >> Yeah. First offense I've ever had and it was cuz I was driving without a license. I knew it was I was real stupid. That's why I guilty. >> Not the end of the world. Just give him a call. >> I know. I'm freaking out. >> Why? >> Because I've never been to jail and I don't want to go to jail. I'm scared. >> Made a poor choice today. >> So, I'm going to go to jail today. More than likely. >> Oh my Oh my >> Who's the guy you were with? >> Huh? >> Who's the guy you're with? >> What do you mean? >> Who's the guy you were walking around with? >> I didn't walk out with anyone. >> You didn't walk out, but you were walking with somebody the whole time. >> It was an older guy. >> No, he was just walking like near me. I mean, he wasn't walking like >> So, he followed you throughout the story. >> No, he didn't follow me. Okay. He's my friend. And we were kind of like talking here and there, but he was like kind of like, you know, on his own mission. >> Who's your mission? What >> you call it? He was looking for some glasses and stuff. >> He He paid. I mean, you gave him the camera. I swear he did. >> I know he did. As the officers searched through her belongings, they uncovered items that cranked the situation up a notch. Suddenly, walking out with stolen goods was the least of her problems. What is this? [Music] I'm going to go trash out anyway. Free live. Are you homeless? I'm excited right now. Yeah, >> kind of. >> Yeah. >> What do you live with then? >> It's like I'm in a few places right now. >> Okay. >> E smoking blues and stealing [ __ ] from Walmart. So I'm sorry. >> Okay. >> I am. They're not sorry why they do it, >> but they're sorry when they get caught. >> I do feel sorry every time I do it. I do it. And I don't know why I do it. >> I don't know. It'd be like stabbing somebody and just going sorry and then continue stabbing them. Does that make sense? >> I mean, have you ever heard of, you know, have you ever heard of a therapist say that, you know, those things can be an addiction? >> Shoplifting. >> Yeah. Shoplifting can be an addiction. >> So, it was >> hard and I don't want I don't want to do it, but >> and I find myself doing it anyways and I don't want to and I know it'll get me in trouble. >> What therap What therapist do you go to? >> No, of course not. I can tell you that right now. >> And I know that, but you know, it's easier said than done. It's a little bit hard to do on your own. >> Dope. >> If you go down, >> especially whenever you have nobody on your side that's telling you you should. Please listen. >> Go down to Goodwill for help. They actually have people there that can help you. >> When it was all said and done, she was charged with shoplifting and possession of an illegal substance.
