Gulf Breeze 911, what's the location of the emergency? >> I'm going over the first bridge. I'm not exactly sure what the location is, but there's a car that's in front of me that's driving extremely sporadic. It's not going very fast, but they can't maintain a straight line to save their life right now. >> Well. >> All right, everyone. I'm Frank Slow. I'm a 25-year veteran of a sheriff's office here in Arizona. Today, we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. So, California body cam is where we found this video. We've used them before. We definitely like them. And Sam is He's the one that picks them. So, if he likes them, it's going to be good. While we're watching today's video, the game we play is body cam bingo. This is card number two. We sell a set of one through five. Check out our website. You'll be able to order that and any of our other merch. But, let's get to the video and see how it goes. >> And what exactly is the vehicle doing? >> It's Well, it cannot go in a straight line right now. Like, when I say it's going all over the road, it's just like literally going back and forth. Literally going touching the the the guardrail on the Not the guardrail, but the the rumble strips on the right. And then now we're going 25 mph, and they are not even in this lane right now. >> Well. >> Good afternoon. >> Hey. >> Officer Earlman, Gulf Breeze Police. I'm well. The reason I'm stopping today is I saw you come out of your lane twice. >> Okay, I'm so sorry. >> All right. Well, currently, I'm assigned to our full-time traffic unit in an aggressive driver vehicle. So, when calls like this come out, and it's it's a call of a possibly impaired driver or a reckless aggressive driver, it's like a game of cat and mouse. Like, they're going down the road, we're trying to find them. It is it I think every traffic unit all across the country, when these calls kick out, especially one like this where the caller is describing driving that would be consistent with an impaired driver, um everyone that's in the area is trying to locate this vehicle and stop it before it causes a collision. So, that's really that that is the main focus of impaired driving enforcement is trying to stop people from hurting themselves or others with collisions. So, this I guarantee every officer in the area is looking for this car. And kind of a fun game. >> Any reason you weren't able to maintain your lane? >> No, no reason. >> All right. Do you have your driver's license and your registration proof of insurance? >> I do. >> All right, my driver's license. >> Good question. >> Driver's license. >> What's that card? >> Proof of insurance. Uh you want me to pull it out? >> Yes. Let me hand you this random envelope full of papers. >> Where are you headed tonight? >> Home. >> Okay. >> Right down there. >> Right down there. I bet it's not. >> I have so many because that should be the most recent. >> Okay. >> Registration. >> Don't keep your old insurance cards and registration. Throw those out. >> This one? >> No one cares if you had insurance 3 years ago. I'll hand that back to you, okay? >> Thank you. >> At this point in time, I'm going to ask you to step out of the vehicle, okay? >> Okay. >> Let's walk over here. >> All right. >> All right. Like another angle. >> All right. >> Face me. You said you had two drinks. >> Okay. >> Okay. I believe you are under the influence right now to the point your normal faculties are impaired and you're operating a motor vehicle. Do you consent to perform field sobriety tests to dispel my suspicion of DUI? >> Wow. Really? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> It's literally our job. >> Okay. >> I'm quite serious. >> Okay. >> Would you perform field sobriety tests for me? >> Um I think I'm going to object to that. >> We're not in court. If you object to the field sobriety test, that's your chance to dispel my suspicion DUI. Do you understand? >> Part of my daily routine is stopping by a convenience store for an energy drink and a snack. Last week, I looked for some healthy chips, but every time I checked out the ingredients, it was all junk. I wish that I had just brought some Masa Chips to work. I've been telling you about Masa Chips for months now, and that's because I really like them. Masa Chips contain just three ingredients: organic nixtamalized corn, sea salt, 100% grass-fed beef tallow. That's it. And my favorite part about them isn't just the health, it's how crunchy they are. Masa Chips are not going to be breaking in your guacamole. There's a reason that Sprouts and Wegmans, Target, and Whole Foods all picked them up. They're the real deal. You ready to give Masa a try? Go to masachips.com/frank and use code Frank for 25% off your first order. One thing to know is because Masa uses real ingredients and makes everything in small batches, certain flavors go out of stock regularly. I just got my hands back on the cabanero after it was sold out for weeks. Again, that's masachips.com/frank and use code Frank for 25% off. Or you can click link in the video or just scan the QR code. >> You have to make a decision based on my observation. >> Yes, I understand everything. >> Okay, you're under arrest. >> I have to change my underwear. You're under arrest for DUI. >> That's what I like to see. >> I'm going to get back. You're under arrest for DUI. >> Love it. I love that. >> you drink tonight? >> Oh my god. >> Nice job. >> I love this officer. This guy is great. I love his questions initially at the door. I like that he's like, "Hey, step on out." I like that he gives the "Hey, I want you to perform these these tests." She says no, he goes, "Oh, you're going to force me to make a decision based on my observations already?" She's like, "Okay." He's like, "You're under arrest." I love that, cuz that's exactly There is nothing else that she needs to say after she says no twice. That's it. That's I mean, I've seen we've seen a ton of videos on here where they're talking and trying to talk them into it and pleading and, you know, playing this word salad of like she says no. I love that this officer is like, "Fine, put your hands behind your back. I've all that I need." Great. Great, great job. I wish more guys were like this. >> I'm a deputy clerk of the Santa Rosa court. >> It's not good. You should know not to drink and drive then. Good answer. >> 819 >> Come with me. >> 819 Copy that. 10-4 Sign me an offense procedure. Send me an offense procedure and I'll put subject information on the computer. >> All right, two Durangos? I like it. >> 819 >> Just a second. Do you have anything on you that's going to hurt me, kick me, poke me? >> No. Nothing. Nothing. I have nothing on me. >> Would you do the transport? Save me some time. I appreciate it, though. >> Wow. >> Enough to tow that car. >> you on the other side. Walk with me, Suzanne. >> Okay. >> All right, take a seat in the back of the car. All right, you. >> That is exactly how long that should have took. >> All right, Suzanne. I'm now requesting that you submit to a lawful test of your breath for the purpose of determining its alcohol content. >> No. >> You take the test? No. Okay. If you refuse to take the test I've requested of you, I have to read this to you, okay? If you refuse to take the test I've requested of you, your driving privilege will be suspended for a period of 1 year for the first refusal, or 18 months if your driving privilege has previously been suspended or if you have been previously fined under of the statute for refusing to submit to a lawful test of your breath, urine, or blood. Additionally, if you refuse to take the test I've requested of you and if your driving privilege has been previously suspended or if you have been previously fined under the same statute for refusal to submit to a lawful test of your breath, urine, or blood you'll be committing a misdemeanor. In addition, any >> Ooh, I like that. >> Refusal to submit to the test I've requested of you is admissible into evidence in any criminal proceeding. Do you still refuse to submit to the test? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Officer says, "Hey, will you submit to the field sobriety test?" She says no. Boom, he hooks her up. Love all that. Now, he now asks her, reads her the admin per se affidavit or the implied consent affidavit, kind of the same thing. That has to do with the chemical test. Now, you can refuse the field sobriety test battery without there being any repercussions. But, in every single state that I know of, including Florida, there are repercussions for not submitting to a chemical test during impaired driving investigation. So, and here, which I didn't know before, in Florida it's a misdemeanor if you refuse to submit to a chemical test, which I absolutely love. In Arizona, we don't do that. We do a mandatory 1-year license suspension, 2 years if you've had a prior refusal in the last 84 months, but that's it. We we have no criminal consequence. So, I love that Florida said, "Hey, not only are we going to suspend your license, but we're going to we're going to add an additional charge." Love it. >> I can do 26, uh, 5% of >> I like it. >> Yeah, well, it's 10% for you at 1706. >> There an open container in there? >> Pardon me? >> I see. Is that an Altoids can? That looks like cocaine. >> You want five? >> Nice. It looks like >> cocaine. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Um, it was located in her purse. Uh, in a >> I think he's going to do the test for you. >> Good search. >> Yeah, yeah. Like it was like right there where I watched him You know how it when it becomes flat and it turns over the >> Yeah. >> She did it and she went over That made me laugh. >> Is that alcohol? >> Vodka. >> There it is. There's that open container. Cocaine and vodka? >> She said she's some kind of clerk with Santa Rosa. Clerk? Some kind of court? >> OH, [ __ ] THIS WAS in this little baggy. >> So, she's a She ends up actually being a clerk of the court. Um she's seen a trial or two, probably lots. So, she's learned, "Hey, just say no." And I think she just can't figure out what to say no to and what to say yes to because she's probably high on cocaine and drunk on vodka. Um but she's obviously She's at least learned a thing or two because she's She's not answering any questions. She's not doing anything to further incriminate herself besides doing cocaine and drinking vodka and driving down the road. So, even though she's trying to play the no game, she's obviously still going to be held accountable, which I love that. This is inside of Inside of here, yeah. >> Uh no, it's all in this black purse. >> In her purse? >> Yep. All right. Cuz I wasn't taking her purse to the jail with her cuz I've got this. Yep. So, I got her money out and then obviously it was a jewelry bag, so >> there's a bottle of vodka >> in the back. >> Bottle of vodka. Unbelievable. >> Uh yep. Yep. >> [groaning] [clears throat] >> Yes. >> Give her a field test. Actually, I'll just do that at the PD. >> Uh yeah. >> I I'll do it at the PD. It's too windy and stuff out here. I don't want to In just in case. >> I'm going to open the inventory. >> Right thing to do. >> Uh >> You want to go through the trunk? >> Yes, sure. >> Just make sure it's just a clerk >> She's a clerk of the court. >> Sonoma County. Is she? >> Yeah. Uh it just says clerk of the court on her ID. >> Clerk of the court. Well, she shouldn't be doing cane and drinking and driving. I'm going to read you your rights, okay? >> Yeah, I'll go ahead. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and have them with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you >> guilty >> if you wish. If you decide to answer questions without a lawyer present, you still have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Yes. >> Have you previously requested any law enforcement officer to allow you to speak to an attorney? No. With these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me? Okay. >> Easy. Makes your report short. >> All right, everyone. Card two was an absolute bust. Some of this had to do with the fact that she just didn't say much of anything. So, I don't think there's any cards that we would have got a bingo on. It's just it wasn't for this video. But, coming up, we've got a live chat for members only. So, if you want to be a member of the channel, click here. Sam's going to put a link there. You could become a member.
