from arresting this creepy guy hiding in the bushes around his ex-wife's home. He'd been trespassed. >> Nice to see you, too. What's your name? >> This is my home, dude. What do you want? >> Do you live here? >> This is my wife's home and my son's home. Yes. >> But you don't live here. >> Yes, I live here. My address is here. >> But do you live here? >> I own this property. Yes, sir. >> Option one is to leave. Option two is to go the to jail. All right, don't do it. >> Try my Get the out of here. >> After I specifically told you to leave, you opened the door, started throwing everything out after you ran at me, and then you dude, I I must have blacked out. I'm sorry. >> More than happy to refresh your memory. >> I smoked some weed up the road, and it was it just messed my head up. I'm sorry. >> To this creep who showed up at his ex-girlfriend's doorstep armed [snorts] with firearms and a camera. >> Any weapons in the vehicle? >> Yes. Yes, I have two weapons in the car. >> All right. What kind of guns are there? >> One's a Feder 500. They're the ones that they got for you. >> All right. I just so happen to be leaving to go to the dispensary. >> I see somebody out in front of my house taking pictures. So, I'm like, who the is this? >> All right. So, my wife, who I'm legally married to, she left me about 5 months ago. >> Here are several moments when stalkers realize they walked into a cop trap. Starting with the disturbing case of 30-year-old Kai, an army vet who went awall to stalk an online content creator and went as far as showing up at her door at almost midnight in a romantic grand gesture [music] without shoes. The law of assumption is when you visualize and pinpoint something, focus something on something so hard that the world gives you information that you need to get to where you need to go. >> Have you had any conversations with her? in my own head, but now that uh it it's come to this, most likely I probably should just leave. >> Hi, just to let you know, you're being placed under arrest. >> Okay. >> Okay. For stalking. >> On May the 23rd, 2024, deputies with the Flagler County [music] Sheriff's Office rushed to a home after a seriously disturbed lady made a call about a man who was repeatedly knocking on her door as if he owned the place. Officers arrived a few minutes before 11:00 p.m. expecting to simply deal with a late night nuisance, but it quickly became clear that the situation was far more disturbing than they had anticipated. Stand at the front of my car for me. Stand at the front of my car. What are you over here knocking on this door for? >> I just want to know. >> Huh? >> I just wanted to greet. >> Why do you need to greet them? >> How do you know them? because obviously they called us saying we got this person knocking on our door. We don't want them here knocking on our door. >> Okay. So, what's um do you know them personally? >> It's a girl that I used to >> Okay. >> I I'll leave them on that. >> So, um was this a girl you dated or >> It's someone I >> It's someone you know. Okay. How do you know her? I that's like that's the question. >> That's perfect. Okay. You got any ID on you? >> Yes, I do. My car. >> You have a driver's license? >> My wallet is currently at the YMCA. I apologize. >> At the YMCA. >> I left my wallet there. If you could drive me over there, I can go grab it. >> No, it's okay. Um, >> feel free to run it if you like. >> Yeah. So, where's the where's the YMCA that you're talking about? >> Oh, right. S St. Augustine. >> It's like uh take a left. >> What are you staying there? Is that where you stay? >> No, I'm looking around for a house around here. Yeah. >> All right. So, do you where you where you from? >> Uh Seattle, Washington, but I recently got out of the military from Bragg, North Carolina. >> Oh, okay. Thanks for your service. >> No problem. >> All right. Let's You can shut your door. Let's walk back over to my car. So, I'll just check your information. We can walk up here. So, did you know her from Washington? >> No. >> You've only known her from Florida? >> Yeah. >> Where are you staying at now? >> Right now? >> Mhm. >> Just look for a I'm pretty much staying inside my car for the most part. >> Mhm. but uh I'm waiting for the VA to to get my college funding so I can go to college around here. >> He tried to sound calm, even harmless, but that only made things creepier. He told officers he was moving to the area for college, [music] but in the real sense, he was doing this so he could get closer to his target. Meanwhile, the complainant, a well-known Tik Tok content creator, claimed that the suspect had been observing her from a distance for months and had now unexpectedly shown up. The victim informed authorities that the stalking had begun in January and police subsequently identified him as 30-year-old K. Van Kai. >> So, you just park here and there. >> Most around here, >> you can stay right there. >> Most of the parks, >> they don't allow overnight parking. So, >> around Publix. >> Yeah. They close at 11:00. >> Yeah. They don't allow camping overnight. Did they Did you talk to them at all tonight? >> That's okay. I don't I don't need to talk. This is the response. >> All right. Thank you. >> So with uh with passports >> all right May 12th, 1994 that's your date of birth. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So your last name is that C AI? >> That's Kai. >> Kai. Okay. First name Key. >> Okay. Hang on. You don't have any warrants or nothing, dude. Alpha 111 on TTY. What's going on tonight? >> This is just >> 1065 one out of the state of Washington for 1027 1029P name and date of birth. After about an hour and a half, the officers got Kay's information and quickly learned the army vet had gone awall by leaving the military just to see the Tik Tok creator. The situation might have started as a fantasy, but it escalated into a full-blown dangerous obsession. For the first time, the officers got just a little hint of what they were really up against. to make sure I'm fully understanding. Um, >> do you understand the law of ass? >> I'm sorry. Let's just >> The law of assumption is when you visualize and pinpoint something, focus something on something so hard, the world gives you information that you need to get to where you need to go. >> And I've been homeless for like 7 months now after just following like >> and I just I'm here. And then >> so were you in Washington when you visualized her? >> I was in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. That's big reason why I it was one day I think uh a little stress came to me uh and I just left post and I got caught for being awol and then this is the whole this is the whole deal. Just follow trying I honestly tried to fall in love. >> Okay. So you came were you in North Carolina when you came across your TikTok and then had the visualization. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, so at that point wanting to connect with her, >> you ended up >> I just I was in Mexico City at a certain point. I was in Los Angeles. I've been all over the country. I've driven >> both the the southern line and like the the one through South Dakota. >> So I've been all over the country at this point and I >> Is that cuz her Tik Toks led you there? >> No. No. It was uh it was really I was just following and I really didn't know where I was going. There's some points where I was reading I'm reading a book called awareness is as long as you like focus on something like hard enough. >> Mhm. >> You'll come across >> and understand. Okay. And at first it's like okay why is this random person keep knocking on this other random person's house? >> Okay. So, have you had any conversations with her? >> In my own head, but now that uh it it's come to this, most likely I probably should just cuz I thought she was honestly talking to me at a very um like a very deep spiritual level because she fixed a lot of parts of me. I'm not like during this little little journey of mine, >> a lot of the parts of my head that used to not find peace >> have found peace. And I'm like, how could that be nothing less but love for someone else? Cuz no one has been able to have done that. No one's not like my dedication in the military. Like nothing >> have I I have done has found peace in my own head like the way the image the vision of a dream of love >> did for me. >> Do you have any relationships when you were in the military? relationship with the military aren't like that. >> They aren't they're not loving and caring and kind and soft >> the way you needed. >> Maybe I've been soft and kind to myself. I don't know. >> But I Well, no one's ever taught me how to do that. So, I was thinking that it was must had been someone else. >> How long were you in for? >> Four years. >> Four years. Okay. >> So, you're going to be able to collect your benefits >> once I get my D24. >> Okay. Yeah. All right. So you're not in trouble for going awall? >> In trouble for going awall. >> They let me off easy. They understood what things were going on with me. So they didn't give me like a dishonorable or anything like gave me like a like one right below an honorable discharge. >> Yeah. >> Good for you. So that didn't screw things up. >> Kai told the deputy that he and the Tik Tok star were linked on a deep level, insisting her posts seen by over a million followers weren't for the world were personally for him. At this point, the cops were now beginning to see that it wasn't just some creepy fantasy. It was a full-blown dangerous obsession. And now the officers were beginning to grasp just how twisted he really was. >> Are you in contact with any family members? >> My mother. Yeah. >> Where was she? >> Uh Seattle, Washington. >> Does she know about this at all? >> No. >> Have you ever talked to her about Is is this the first time this ever happened to you? Uh dreams, visions. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, are you on any medication or anything? >> They told me that I might I was like this is a huge reason why I'm not getting disability either. >> Yeah. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. >> For this for not being on a medication or for this whole >> having no psychological issues. >> Oh, I understand. Um Okay. All right, we're going to see what um I got to continue my conversation with my sergeant. See what the endg game is, what they want from me, >> us, >> where they want you to officially trespass from here. >> Okay. >> Um so you can have a seat. >> Be back with the officers soon realized [snorts] that a simple warning wouldn't cut it. Nothing serious had happened yet, but his own words made it clear that he was dangerous. Experience had taught the officers that obsession like this sometimes can end up in murder. >> All right, just to let you know, you're being placed under arrest. >> Okay. >> Okay. For stalking. All right, go ahead and find your back. Open up your hands. Investigators later revealed that Kai had been living out his car after going AWOL from the army. Deputies found a messy vehicle, clothes, a toothbrush, and even a tent. He had been stalking the Tik Tok creator for months, following her from California to Florida, creating over 20 fake accounts to track her and mimic her travels. On May the 6th, he allegedly showed up at her home. Despite being blocked, he continued contacting her, writing things like, "I promise the rejection only makes me stronger." Kai was charged with stalking and [music] released after posting an $11,000 bond. The last creep was completely unsettling, [music] but he was nothing compared to the next maniacal stalker whose unhealthy obsession was a teenager who regularly walked home after work at night. >> And you said that he's been coming to the store and he's been stalking you and all that stuff. Good. But not stalking you. You told him to stop, correct? >> Yes. I don't care what nobody say. That's harassment. You're asking me where I live. Do I need a ride? >> No. The employees have told me about her. >> That somebody was stalking her. >> They're going to take me to jail, but you're trespassing. Going to believe you. Let you go. >> He's not trespassing. >> During an evening patrol, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a department store after [music] dispatch received reports of a man causing a disturbance. When they arrived, they met with the store employee who gave them a hint on how to locate the suspect. >> Is he still here or did he leave? He went this way. >> He went that way. >> He was wearing uh Did you tell someone what he was wearing? >> Hm. >> I remember him wearing that shirt. >> Glasses and gray hair. >> Yeah. Hello. >> Yes, sir. >> How's it going, gentlemen? >> Good. >> You guys doing all right? >> Yes, sir. >> Sir, haven't seen you in a while. >> How you doing? >> You been all right? >> Yeah. >> Good. So, we're here for some complaints of people on the property. Can I get your guys' license, please? >> Got complaints of people on the property. >> Uh-huh. >> From who? from the store. >> Really? >> Really? >> I just got here. >> I know. And uh I think I spoke to you about being after property. You're not on doing business. You can't be on property. >> You told me that. >> I believe so. >> I don't remember that. >> What's your name? >> Billy. >> Billy. >> Yeah. >> Let me get your license. I know your name, so I don't need your information already. >> Yeah. I don't know what the complainer. Did anybody complain to you? >> I just got here like 2 minutes ago. >> Your bike? >> Yes, sir. >> Are you trespassing the property from Walgreens? >> We both are. >> You guys are here knowing that you guys are trespassing. >> I just I just got here a minute ago. He was sitting over here. I came over to see if he was all right. >> Okay, we'll stay here. All right. We're going to have to arrest. >> We're going to have to arrest him. >> They're trespassing. >> These two here. >> Yep. >> Now, we can pull up Torres's case. >> That's what we're going to do right now. >> So, on a second unit cuz we'll do a show up. Make sure we got one in the same. If he's one and the same. So, stalking is a misinterception. All we need to prove that it's a continue. a continue thing if it's already been documented >> if it's one of the same. >> And then we also have we can get witness statements from the assistant manager and the girl in the liquor store saying he's come around looking for her. >> Mhm. >> Sorry about this. Let's go backwards. Did this dude already leave? >> Yeah. Hold on one sec. Let me get back. >> So I I trespassed the gentleman on the left. >> The one with the hat on. the white the >> Yeah, I trespassed him. So, you know, I don't know how many times I got to keep trespassing these people. They just they don't they don't care. At least he's not drunk. Usually, he's usually in talks, but it just keep moving them along and they just they just keep >> proving the problem. >> Yep. We're going to do a show up, but uh the female advis she took a report a couple weeks ago saying that the gentleman in black has been following her, stalking her. She cleaned the battery. There wasn't a witness present. She called us today to come into the store. He's trespass warned [music] from said property. So he's already going to jail for trespass already. >> He's been coming around trying to talk to her, acting weird, suspicious. She says, "This was going on for 3 weeks already. She feels uncomfortable and it's causing her emotional distress >> and basically now she can't even take the bus, which she lives in Florida [music] City. >> It's common asking her about her kids, her family, all that stuff. She feels uncomfortable. I'm going to see if she wants [music] to pursue charges for stalking because this is already an apparent pattern and we have a documented in report already on this as well. And he has continued and he's trespass. Second gentleman, >> he's trespass. Okay. Cuz obviously it's a public place and he's like has business there, but the trespass came into the store now to see if she was there, walked walked all the way to the back of the store, saw she had customers, and walked out. Then he also has walked into the liquor store. So, the the girl in the liquor store and the assistant manager off saw him walk in there tonight as well. >> After a short while, the officers returned [music] to the store to gather solid proof for their investigation. And it didn't take long before several disturbing details began coming to light. >> Hello. >> Who was present when when they saw him in the store? >> In this store, >> no contact. >> Did your manager see him? You say you're mad. >> No, I I called him and I'm like, "He's here. He's here." So, he know who I was talking about. But he's like, "He can't go on the camera." >> My manager, Marlene, tomorrow, I was just on the phone with her. She said, "Tomorrow you guys could come by >> and she could show the camera when he walked in here and he walked up and he >> No, but you're telling me that he walked in here. You saw it? >> Yeah, he walked in. >> Would you be able to identify if we put you in our car, put her lights on, and tell us that we're out with the same person?" >> Yes. >> All right. [music] >> Right. >> We're going to do a show up. >> All right. >> Print out the form. We're going to put her in our car and then we're going to drive her around. >> Okay. >> All right. Go to district 4 on their outlook on the server and there's going to be a show up [music] instruction. >> Print that form off then we'll read it to her. All right. >> All right. >> And then you said that's your sister over there. >> My sister-in-law. Yeah. All right. Do I have to leave the store? >> It's he's l we may have him. We may not have him. We just want to make sure that >> Okay. Manager. I'm going to leave real quick. >> That's fine. You can tell them. >> Sorry. >> Go ahead. >> Yes. >> Huh? >> He's right there. >> Oh, that's him. >> Yeah, that's >> 100%. 100%. >> Okay, then we're just going to talk from there. All right. >> Yeah, I cuz I remember his name. If you read his ID, it's Billy Jr., but I don't remember his first name. And this >> we looked up the case. I just want to make sure that we have the right person. >> Pull up a picture and it was it was him exactly him. Okay. >> And he said that he's been coming to the store and he's been stalking you and all that stuff. >> Come if come to the store, you know, when customers come to the store and they'll buy liquor and >> Are your eyes usually like watery? Do you do you feel like you like you bought them? Just seeing him is it's just >> it's causing emotional distress. >> All right. Uh do you want to press charges against him? >> Yes. If I feel like I'm being harassed, especially at you coming to the bus stop, that is harassment. >> But stop talking. You told them to stop. Correct. >> Yes. I don't care what nobody say. That's harassment. You're asking me where I live. Do I need a ride? >> You're harassing me. >> How many times you told him to stop? >> Two, three times. Like you come to the store, I'm catch you on. Okay. And then come to find out, you're banned. You're not allowed in the store. I'm not allowed to sell you liquor. I mean, my manager should be in trouble, too, because you guys didn't let me know he's banned. You should at least have a picture of him. You know, when you walking into a hotel and you're like, "This person is banned." >> I spoke with the man, the the head manager herself. She's out of Miami. I talked to her. So, we she signed a an agreement with us. It's recently. She signed it about a month ago, >> maybe two months. She signed a no trespass warning program with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. It authorizes me to enforce trespass on private property and take people to jail. She told me if someone's been trespassed on the property, I do not have to call her. I can take him to jail. As of right now, he's going to go to jail cuz I found him on the property with somebody else. >> That's number one. I just want to make sure that the person that we're out with is the same person that was. >> So, we're going to talk to your we're going to talk to your sister and see if he was the one that came into the store as well. And then we're going to face forward. I want to give you a statement form everything that he's done to you leading up to to write it down for you. Write it down for me. Okay. >> Okay. >> Listen, I'm still on route. >> And as I went over there, >> what's up, Francesca? You didn't know my name. >> How do I get it to print out my >> We don't need it. When she walked out, she even told heard her. >> So, just print out. Just give her a Just give us a statement form. >> Statement form. That's it. >> Are we going to connect it to the one we the >> It should be a second a second one. But that one's for a battery. This is for stocking. Okay. Different offense. While the officers were still putting things together, the suspect approached them eager to talk. Sir, >> yes. >> Can I talk to y'all for a minute? >> Yes. >> Okay. Here's the deal. I want to be straight up with you. >> Okay. >> All right. He's been on the side of this building all day. >> Mhm. >> Drunk, falling over, sloppy. I couldn't get him up cuz he couldn't even stand on his feet. >> Okay. >> I left. I went to Publix. I went and did some errands and stuff like that. And I left and I came back and he wasn't there. And then I rode back by here. He was asleep in the bushes. >> Okay. It's like 11:00. Okay. So, I went and charged my phone >> and I came back and he's sitting back over there again. >> Okay. >> So, I was here. I've been here all 5 minutes. >> Mhm. >> Just make sure he was okay. >> Okay. >> Because otherwise he was going to be so intoxicated that he was going to be spending the night here. >> Okay. >> He's been here all day. I have not. >> Okay. >> I was here 5 minutes when that officer walked up to me. >> Okay. >> And all he was doing was checking on his wallet. >> Okay. >> Okay. So you know where I'm going. >> Okay, that's fine. >> What's your name? >> Sergeant Davis. >> Davis. >> Mhm. >> I know O'Keefe. I know Hager. >> Okay. Okay. >> They're all day shift. >> Yep. >> But that's when I got came up here. >> Did you go inside the store at all? >> I went in to get fill my water bottle. >> Okay. >> Yes, I do. >> Do you have a trespass from this location? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. So, I guess that's what they're investigating. Okay. I just got here. So, they're going to just talk to the >> and fill my water bottle. >> Okay. But a trespass means on the property. Period. So, but like I said, they're going to talk to them and see see what >> But my main reason was coming here was to check his welfare because he's been camped out here all day. Last time my wife when I left here earlier, I stopped to see how he was. When I left here earlier, do you want to listen to me? >> I'm listening. >> When I left here earlier, he was laid over. >> Okay, that's regardless. Point is, you're trespassing on a property that you have been trespassed for before. If you had a concern for him, you could have called us. We could have taken it care of it. Okay. and you went inside the store, which you obviously are trespassed from. So, that's what they're investigating >> and that's that's what we're going to wait to see what these >> All I did was go in there for my water bottle. >> Okay. >> All right. No water. >> Okay. >> And no way to fill it. >> That's not the store's problem. Okay. >> Yeah. Well, the store didn't trespass me. If you want to know where the trespass originated from, it didn't originate I've talked to the manager here, Anna. >> She did not trespass O' Conor >> Mhm. >> O' Conor went in there and told them He didn't want us sitting over here. >> I asked Anna >> I said why did you Can I finish? >> Yeah. Uhhuh. >> I said, "Anna, why did you trespass me? What did you saw us sitting there all the time? You would pull right up. She parked right here every time." And so you never said anything to us. >> Okay. >> Then all a sudden, no, Connor goes in there and tells her that he doesn't want us sitting here. >> He trespasses cuz Anna said, "No, I didn't trespass you. The police did." >> Well, yes. I don't know what Anna's involvement, but we have permission from the owner of the store that wants us trespassing. >> Anna's the general manager. >> Gotcha. All right. Well, we have a letter from the owner that lets us whether employees want people trespass or not. It's our discretion. >> So, that bypasses manager. It's you should probably if you can call records and you can ask them for a copy of that. >> Our central records department. I can get you the number for them. Who's the upper keys commander now? Here. >> Here we have uh Lieutenant Brian. I meant sorry, Lieutenant Kellenburgger. And we have Captain Brian. >> Captain Bryant. >> Brian. >> Captain Brian. >> Brian. B R Y A N. >> Oh, Brian. >> Brian. Yes. >> Brian. >> Yes. >> His attempt to throw the investigation off track soon collided with cold hard facts. But he quickly proved that sometimes stalkers turn out to be far more cunning than people give them credit for. One of the females there come in there asking her about where >> does he want to speak to us knowing his rights? >> He said he wants to speak to us. >> All right. So, Deputy Deputy Joe Torres did a report for a battery, correct? With the victim, Franchesca, about 7 days ago. >> Battery for who? >> For one of the employees. Your name is Franchesca. That you were listed as a suspect in in a case. >> A battery? >> Yeah. >> I was listed in a battery. >> Yeah. >> Remember a battery? >> And the battery took place where? >> Here. here >> at the bus stop. >> They never talked to you about it. >> I walked up. She was sitting at the bus stop >> and I walked up because she was all by herself out there closing. >> And I said, "Are you okay?" She said, "I'm waiting for my mother." >> And how many times has this happened since then? >> One time. That's when the first day she started. >> Uhhuh. >> I went in there and I made a purchase in the liquor store. >> Uhhuh. >> She was working in the liquor store. >> I saw her walk over to the bus stop and I went over there and I said, "Hey, how you doing?" Are you waiting on the bus? She says, "No, I'm waiting on my mother." Uh-huh. >> I said, "Okay, I just want to make sure she was in the dark. This was after closing and she had just gotten into it with one of the employees >> by one of the employees." >> Okay. >> Okay. She said, "I got into it. He he told me I had to mop the floors and I told him, "Screw you." And she >> minutes approximately. And then all a sudden, as I'm talking to her, her mother pulls around >> and picks her up and I leave. >> But she was sitting at the bus stop in the dark all by herself. >> Did you go in today and talk to her today? >> No, I didn't. I did not. She was working on the other they moved her. >> They moved her from the liquor store to the other side because the other employee told me she was stealing out of the till and they were running the cameras to see >> who stole the money. >> All right. >> So, they moved her to the other side. All I did was walk in there and fill my water bottle up. >> Mhm. >> And walked right out of the store. I didn't say a word to her. I saw her behind the register, but I didn't say a word to her. I walked fill my water bottle up in the f in the water. I walked right out. >> Have you asked employees about her or anything like that? No, the employees have told me about her >> that somebody was stalking her and they that that's why she's not working at a liquor store anymore and now she's moved on to the other side. And the one employee told me, "Well, they're investigating it right now cuz money's been stolen." >> So, there's two other guys that got fired and they're we're investigating her >> and they were running the cameras to see because it was money missing. >> All right. >> On her ship. >> Did you ever ask any of the other employees about her if you know? >> Never. Has she told you to stop? >> Has she told you not to talk? >> Before I'm 62. >> I understand. >> But she said, I said, "Are you waiting for the bus?" She said, "I'm waiting for my mother." As a matter of fact, then go soon as she >> sure you want me to call you meds, man. They'll come here. They'll check you out. You don't got to go to the hospital just to make sure you're okay. >> Yeah, I'm okay. >> Just tell me you're not feeling good. I know you're you're up there in age, man. I'm feeling better now. But listen >> and you have to listen to it all day. >> It happens. It comes with the job unfortunately. >> Yeah. >> But uh >> did he just come up? How how long has he been chilling with you? >> How long has Billy been hanging out with you? >> I thought you was >> I was sleeping back. >> I thought you were dumb. And when I walked in the other store, why don't I surprise this? >> Came over here and sat down. >> He come riding up. >> So >> this kid gave us a bag of chips. >> He's been sitting here a few minutes and he rolled up. >> You give me a notion here. >> All right. >> I I don't understand what >> Okay. I got to get my backpack. >> We'll take your backpack. >> Okay. >> Okay. Go ahead. Yeah, they're going to take me to jail, but you're trespassed. I'm going to leave you. Let you go. >> He's not trespassed. >> He is trespassed. He was trespassed before me. >> If he was trespassed, I'll be taking you to jail. You're not trespassing. >> I'll go. >> You'll be going to jail if you were trespassing. >> All right. >> Yeah. I'm going to >> Unbelievable in custody. >> Hey, that's my bike. >> That's my bike. >> Billy, you're right. Nigel. Uh, Mr. Billy, uh, he was trespassed, but it expired 3 months ago. It's only good for a year. Yours expires in in a month. The way he remembered specific details about the employee showed how closely he [music] had been watching his target. In the end, that fixation had finally caught up with him. But what made it even more unsettling was [music] that he still didn't seem to understand the fear and distress that his actions had caused. >> Oh, wow. >> Don't good for a year per statue. >> You You can't give me your notice to appear. You got to take me to jail for trespassing. The the owner wants us to take people to jail. They do not want notice to appear. >> What owner? >> The owner of the >> This is a corporation. There is no owner. >> Well, the manager of the property. >> The manager. Anna. You called Anna. >> Yeah. No, I didn't have to call Anna. She spoke out to me. She told us that she wants people arrested. And there's a CAD report and a letter on file with her signature on it saying that she wants people arrested after trespass warning. >> Okay. That sounds that's a good story. I hope you're sticking to it. >> I am sticking to it. So, he's trespass. If he does come back, call us. He goes back to jail. You can talk to the manager. She could request everybody that's trespassed [music] from the property. They could put a Some people do, some people don't. You can have pictures on it so you know who's there. >> That's up It's up between you and your boss how you want to run it. But uh >> I mean I told She asked me if I want a picture. I said yes, I do. So, >> well, we'll give you a Can we give her a copy of the trespass? >> The trespass >> the current one that we actually post it here. >> Yeah. >> We'll give you >> a picture of him. That's what you want to post. >> Yeah. I mean, his picture's going to be public record as soon as he gets >> as soon as he goes to jail. You can take a picture of that, but I'll give you the trespass warning that we issued him. >> Okay. >> We're going to issue him another one today cuz his expired next month and we issued another homeless male a trespass as well. >> So, he's homeless. >> Mhm. >> So, you had the the battery incident that other you know, the bus stop incident where he put his arm around you. >> Yes. >> Okay. And I felt uncomfortable cuz I'm just there sitting on my phone scrolling watching Tik Tok and I felt this hand around me and I'm like what the So I turn around he's like oh it's me. I'm like you don't touch me. He's like oh really I said oh really what? He's like so I can't touch you. I said the next time I'm going to hit you. >> What do you mean? So then the ATP came into the store looking for you and I wasn't here cuz I guess he came in the morning but I ran into my coworker and he's like oh can I ask you a question? I'm like yes. He was like he has a guy that's asking for you and I'm like >> do you seize Billy? Do you Sorry. Do you withdraw from alcohol? >> I'm sorry. >> Do you withdraw from alcohol? >> Can I withdraw? >> Do you with Do you have withdrawals from >> Absolutely. Let the jail know so they can get you down to the infirmary so they can start put you on medication. >> Cuz last time I came down there taking me to the orange. >> So let them know. Right. >> And that was for COPD, not for alcohol. >> Yeah. He's got the inhalers and he's got medication. >> And what time is it? >> It is 9:50. >> 9 what? >> 9:50. >> Okay. Cuz their transport's getting ready to go to Key West right now. >> Yep. So if anything, they'll, like I said, you have withdrawals. They will do a >> If they don't put me on that transport, they're going to have to bring a special. >> Well, as >> I'm a I'm a medical. When I worked in the past, they will arrange a secondary transport [music] for you and they will bring you down to the jail themselves because they can't hose. They cannot house you in Plantation Key because you'll be on withdraw [music] protocols. So, they will send a secondary van up there and they will take you down to Key West. I'm pretty sure that hasn't changed since I left the jail. >> In the end, he was charged with trespassing and stalking. The next case takes us to Florida where a stalker pushed things even further after he arrived at his ex-wife's new partner's house with loaded firearms and a [music] camera like the Terminator. All right, you stand over there. Stand over there. All right, you face away from me. His ex is who I'm with now. This dude been stalking me. I see somebody out in front of my house taking pictures. So I'm like, who the is this? >> So my wife, who I'm legally married to, she left me about 5 months ago. Say, I didn't sh him until you hit my car. I ain't going to holl at people. Why you do that? On February the 4th, 2024, at around 9:15 a.m., Deputy Harrison with the Flaggler County Sheriff's Department responded to a Dollar General in Palm Coast after reports of a shooting. [music] Two black men had been fighting in the parking lot and fled in gray vehicles, a Lexus and a Genesis. An officer spotted them recklessly heading north, but when they made a sudden turn, he followed them from a safe distance, [music] following pursuit rules, knowing the morning had just taken a dangerous turn. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. YOU GET OVER THERE. Throw your hand. >> All right, you stand over there. Stand over there. All right, you face away from me. >> He hit my car. >> All right, cool. Stand right there. >> 214. I got one at that point right now. The other party's across the street. >> YO, YOU FACE AWAY FROM ME. PUT YOUR HANDS UP. >> You shut up. >> Who has the gun? >> US1 PV. Great. I got one at gunpoint. Bravo Mike with a white shirt. The other half's across the street. Black male dreads. >> Stay across the street. >> Secure that black male over there. >> PUT YOUR HANDS UP. >> GET YOUR HANDS UP. >> Secure him. >> Get the >> Yo, WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. DO IT NOW. >> Walk back TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. >> WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. >> Keep your hands up. >> Hey, come to me. Keep walking to the left. TWO STEPS TO THE LEFT. Keep walking. Keep walking. KEEP WALKING. >> KEEP YOUR HANDS UP. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED, BRO. LOOK. >> Keep walking. >> Don't worry about him. Listen to us. Just >> stop talking. Come here. >> You already up. >> Do you have any weapons on you at all? >> No, I ain't got no you. When you get out of beat your ass again now. Come do it now. Come do it now. Come do it now. You don't have to fight. Put your phone. >> I told you my phone. I'm not fighting you. >> All right. All right. All right. >> I'mma beat your ass when you get out. You wet. >> If you don't calm down, I'll put you in puffs. >> My bad, bro. >> All right. Calm down. >> What you got with me? >> You the straight up. >> You the strimary 214. I got one secured. >> What's going >> You see what you got? >> I'm going to put your I'm not going to tell you again. >> Okay. All right. >> All right. Relax. After restoring a bit of [music] calmness to the scene, the deputies started asking the most important questions. And soon they realized that they were staring straight into unresolved jealousy, an inability to move on, and a full-blown dangerous obsession. >> This what happened, bro. Huh? >> He's good. He's good. Better get your that car. Anyways, I've been dealing on with this dude on and off for 13 years. His ex is who I'm with now. This dude been stalking me. He done been to jail before. I'm in the mil. I was in the military. He even got military investigations, records to prove everything. >> Any weapons in the vehicle? >> Yes. Yes, I have two weapons in the car. >> All right. What kind of guns are there? >> One's a fifth 500. The other one is a 40. >> All right. 214. He's advising no one else is in the vehicle. And he has two weapons inside there. >> All right. Uh, we're going to get you in the back of my car real quick. Okay. >> Can I get in the front? >> No. No. No. >> I'm not aggressive. I haven't been doing that. >> All right. Never mind. >> You see his tag? South Carolina. >> That drove all the way down here. I just so happen to be leaving out of my car. I ain't break your arm. I just so happen to be leaving. I broke your ear. You come break my arm. >> Shut up and face the car. >> You come break >> Shut up and face the car. Thank you. >> I just so happen to be leaving to go to the dispensary. >> I see somebody out in front of my house taking pictures. So I'm like, who the is this? I go to follow him. It's this ass. [music] So, at first I didn't know it was him. I'm flashing them, high beaming them, wondering why they ain't stopping. Get to the traffic light. It's his. >> Yeah. >> So, I'm like, "No, what the [ __ ] you doing in my house? You know you ain't got no business in mying house." You feel me? So, he going to holler at time, oh, oh yeah, pull over, pull over. We pull over at Dollar General and start fighting. So then he mother I go to call the police. He trying to haul ass cuz the lady up there say she dial 911. So I go to he trying to leave. So I go to catch check so he don't leave. When we get out this motherucker they pull over the side of the road and start shooting my car. Look at my bumper hole in my bumper. You >> shooting your car? >> Yeah. Huh? >> You want to pursue charges? >> HELL YEAH. I WANT Y'ALL TO PUT that under the jail. I need to look at my car. >> Are you hit at all? No, I ain't hit. But he my like three or four times. >> Where do you He popped out of his car and started shooting. >> He opened the door and leaned out that looked like I I ain't sure. But it looked like a revolver. >> Right there where his car at. >> So he started shooting right here. >> Actually back there cuz he pulled off and he motherucking he tried to pull off and the police hopped behind him. But right back there the mother. >> Was it a revolver or a handgun? >> I can't remember. But I know it's a gun in that. Look at my bumper. He sh my like three or four times. >> Two for 14. The victim is confirming the male did exit the vehicle and >> hell yo. >> We have someone stopped northbound traffic. I guess we can stop northbound traffic. US one. >> ANYBODY ELSE IN THE CAR? MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN. DO IT NOW. ANYBODY ELSE IN THAT VEHICLE? GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. DO IT NOW. >> All right. Driver side door is open. You want to stack up on the left side so we can clear this car? >> Yep. You good? >> Clear. >> Do you have ID on you? Do you need medical attention? >> It's in my car. Yeah. I I He bit my like So yeah. So I went >> So yes. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> You were at the R section the other day, right? What's the R section? >> No, sir. >> You don't live over here? >> No, sir. >> Okay, step on out. >> All right, so obviously you're in handcuffs. You're detained. You're not free to leave. We're conducting a criminal investigation. This does not mean you are under arrest. However, I have to make sure that you are aware of your rights. Okay, >> you have the right to remain silent. >> After hearing the agitated man's version of events, the officer returned [music] to the other party, hoping to piece together the full story and figure out why out of nowhere, firearms got mixed into an [music] aranged love story. >> All right, so she just read you your rights. You understood them as she read them to you and stuff. All right, so what what is what is going on? All right. So, my wife, who I'm legally married to, she left me about 5 months ago. A couple of weeks ago, she called me and I had the text message on the phone. Couple weeks ago, she called me, said everything was going to be good between us. We're going to get back together. Uh, she was going to move in with me at the end of the month. Move back to our house at end of month in South Carolina. All right. And that was the end of January. So, then end of January come what? Well, actually, maybe like a week before the end of the month, just stop talking. text, no messages, nothing. >> So, I waited and waited and then >> today I was like, "Well, I haven't heard nothing. So, I'm seeing >> so I get there. >> Where? At the house. >> I went to the house. >> Which house is where is it?" >> Oh, no. That down. >> Okay. You get to the house. >> So, I get there. I see a car parked in the driveway, which I'm assuming it was his only because minus she didn't have. >> Okay. >> So, then I didn't go to the car. I mean, I left. >> He pulled up behind me uh at that light right before you turn left to go to the Dollar General. And he like being >> He blocked me in and then so I pulled into cuz I was planning on going there to get me something to drink. So I pulled into there, he pulls in, he pulls his car around and then he gets out, threatens me. I tried to go inside, he confronts me. So I didn't get back in my car. So I was just like, "Look, I'm not going to run from here." You know what I'm saying, >> right? I I didn't I didn't do go to your house and do nothing. >> Okay. >> I didn't even say nothing to him. We didn't have conversation tonight. So anyway, so then we get into altercation and that's what it >> fit your ear. >> Yeah. So then when I leave he was like, "Well," he said, "Well, we can go." Cuz somebody said, "Oh, we call the cops." He was like, "Well, we can just go talk to Eric." I said, "I bet." And so that mean we going So we going back to your house. So he said, "Okay." So we go back drive to go back to his house. And then he started to act like, "Man, this so I tried to leave, but he kept racing behind me. Did y'all see my lights and stuff or >> I didn't see you. >> Okay. >> Um and then so he raced behind me and then when we got up here he hit the back of my car which is when I open fire. As you can see the back of my car stroke. >> Where did he hit it? >> Right there on the on the end. >> What? Left side, right side, back. >> Right side. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So that's my old car. But he Yeah, he hit my car. It my car stalled so I had to pull over and then tried to restart it. He pulled up beside me. I didn't know if he what he had on. where we were going to do something to him. I just open my door. >> Okay. So, let's back him up a little bit. So, when he got to How did he know you were there? >> I pul So, he was in the He was in the car in the driveway. >> Okay. So, he was in the driveway. >> Yeah, he was in the car. I couldn't see inside the car. >> Okay. >> All I saw was the car. >> Did he see you drive by or did you get out of your car? >> I didn't get out the car. >> Okay. He just saw a random blue Luxes drive by. >> Yeah. He didn't know it was me cuz when he pulled up to the When I pulled up That's right. When we got to that light before he turned on what you call it? He got to the light. I rolled my window down. M >> and he was like, "Oh, it's you." >> Okay. >> So that's how he knew it was me. But he didn't before that he didn't know it. >> Okay. After that, you guys got to like Lake View, Lake View and Belter or Matis Woods. He pulled up on you, saw it was you, then he follow you went to the Dollar General. >> Yeah. He Well, I didn't even get to go inside. He got out and he blocked my way. >> He blocked you? >> Yeah. So So when he pulled up, I pulled up and then he pulls up >> and then like So he's closer to the store. >> Okay. >> So I was kind of nervous about where I was going to park anyway. So I got out the car. I was going to go inside. He he pull he gets in front of me. So he block he's between me and the engine. >> Okay. So at that point what happened? >> So at that point it was it was fight. >> Okay. Who approached you? >> He approached me. >> How did he do that? >> With his hands up. >> He approached with his hands up. >> Frustrating. Yeah. This that and that. Come on. This you came to my house. Blah blah blah. >> That's his house. >> I don't know. >> What do you What do you approach? Do you like sprint? Were you walking? He he sprinted. No, he he wasn't he wasn't walking. >> He full sprinted towards you. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He was aggression >> with his hands up >> with his with his guard. >> Okay. With pistol. >> Something was still missing. How did the firearms come into play? But the officers waited it out knowing that the truth had a way of catching up. >> Oh. And then I engaged like like there was I mean I don't know. I could have turned around and get my car, but I was kind of lying to my car if I did that. >> Okay. >> And then I didn't know if he was going to get this car and pulled out a gun. I just >> Okay. >> The safest thing for me at that point was to make sure he stayed out of his vehicle and if we engaged, that's fine. But then so every time we engaged, we broke up. I would try to leave then he would start. >> All right. And then um what happened after that? You guys left, right? >> Yeah, we left. He said, "Let's go talk to Erica cuz I told him, you know, he's saying that, you know, he tell cuz somebody yelled and said we calling the cops and he was like, "Well, let me tell you what happened. Let me tell y'all what happened. He he he uh came here to see my wife and I like first of all she's married to me. She's legally married. We're not divorced. We never talked about Had I known he was there, there's no way I would have came cuz I knew this would have happened. >> So I saw you guys like speeding down that residential area. What was going on with that? >> We was going back to >> that was just after that was just after the dollar. So, how do we get on US one? >> I got one. >> 29. >> Like, I'm not. So, I don't I don't even know. >> Where's US one? >> This This is US. >> Yeah. >> I got you. >> Okay. So, then you guys turned down the roundabout. What happened then after that? >> Well, we turn That's when he hit my car. >> He crashed into you at the roundabout. >> Yeah. No, no. He crashed into me on this straight like right down there and I pulled over my car cuz it just it made my car stop. I couldn't drive it. So, I just pulled over, shut it off, and shut it back on. And then he ran back up on me cuz he after he did that, he turned around and went that way. But then I guess we seen my car movement again. He came back and that's when I was fighting. >> Okay. Where was he when when you opened fire on >> right next to me like in in the lane like right next to me? >> Okay. What was he doing then? >> Did you see him? >> He he rolled his window. >> Okay. >> Okay. Did he he didn't point anything at you or >> I saw maybe I saw a gun but I don't know like >> he he could have been pointing he it looked like he pointed something >> but I wasn't trying to figure out wait for it after he hit my car I assume he was going to do something else >> after you shot what happened >> after I shot >> and he left >> okay and then we got here right which which firearm did you >> all right that's still in the car right we're in the car >> both in the car When you guys left the Dollar General, you said you were going back to talk to Erica? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Do you Was that the house you guys originally were at? >> Yes, ma'am. >> What What address is that? >> And you knew how to get back there from the Dollar General or No. >> No. >> So, you were just following him back to the house? >> Well, I thought I knew how to get back. >> He He was following me. >> Okay. >> But then like he was he started driving. I don't know. So, then I got >> He drive He started Well, I don't know. >> You know, he started driving kind of erratic like >> behind you. >> Yeah. How? So, can you describe that for me? >> So, he he pulled up like he was going to hit me, so I moved. And so then I was like, you know what? >> Were you stopping? Were you pulling over? >> No, I was just driving. >> Okay. >> And then So, so after that, after a few times of that, I just I just like, "No, this I'm not going nowhere cuz I think this going to be a settle." >> Okay. So, you continued on past to try to get away, >> right? But I Yeah, I didn't know. >> And is that why you didn't stop at the house? You just kept going, >> right? Well, I didn't know where the house was first of all, like cuz I like I thought I remember how I got there cuz >> without looking at GPS, >> but I didn't. But it didn't matter because I was just like, I'm not. >> How many times did you fire off rounds? How many rounds? >> Twice. >> Did he threaten you in any way? >> Yeah, he threatened me at the store and he threatened me at >> How did he threaten you? >> He was like, "This is this is what we going to do. I'mma um I'm not done with you. I'mma get your >> All right. That's all I was just curious about." And then, like I say, I didn't shoot at him until he hit my car. >> His version of events were full of holes that were even bigger than the ones his firearm had left behind. That was enough officers to turn their attention back to the boyfriend, who happened to be the first person that they had questioned. And as they spoke with him again, he began dropping small details that started helping the pieces fall into place. >> I'm I just want to confirm that. You need to sign it. Just confirming >> you were leaving your house. You're about to go somewhere. As you're walking, you see his caring up creeping up the block. >> Yep. didn't know who it was cuz you're in this culdeac, >> right? >> As he's doing that, you see a camera taking pictures of you and start to leave. So, you start to follow it cuz you didn't know who it was. >> He was taking pictures of the house because he know I was in the car. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I had not sat in the car by him. >> So, you're already in the car when he started creeping up the Okay. So, you're already in the car and he didn't know you were there and you started creeping up, taking pictures. You leave to go follow cuz you didn't know who was taking pictures of your house. >> You see him running red lights or running stop signs rather driving fast. When he stops the light, you pull up next to him and that's when you realize >> he's him. >> Okay. And what do he say to you again when you guys locked eyes and like, "Oh, it's you." >> I say, "Oh, it's you." HE WAS LIKE, "YEAH, it's me." And then I was like, "You don't." [music] HE TALKING ABOUT, "FOLLOW ME THEN. WHAT YOU WANT TO DO? FOLLOW ME." >> AND WE ended up going to the dollar store. >> Okay. So then once you guys there, what exactly happened once you guys actually got to parking parking spots? You just hop out right in the middle of the parking lot. >> Basically, I'm pretty sure they got everything on camera. Y'all can go pull the cameras cuz I want to see them. >> All right. And then that's when someone said they were calling the police. >> Yeah. They was coming out recording and calling the soldiers and saying they was calling the police and by that time we had stopped fighting. We was just going back and forth. >> You know what I'm saying? He was instead of trying to come at me. I had did my thing. So I'm like what the he walking toward me. You know what I'm saying? I'm like back your ass up. Back your ass up. You feel me? And so he trying to kick me and like that right there with his stupid ass. So goddamn when people was like oh because I'm on the phone with 911. That's when he tried to book to his car whole ass. Oh no le you done came down all the way down here. You fa to get all this. You get all this. >> So then you started following him so he let the police know where he was going and all that. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. And where which way did he go from there? >> He went all the way through my neighborhood. Then after >> So he he did he turn up uh Lake View like across Belair like once he pulls out Dollar General >> when he when he pulled back out of Dollar General that's what Mantis? Yeah, it's Manas and then Belair and then goes to Lake. >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay. He pulled out a Dollar General on Mantanas. >> Yep. >> And then all day down Mantz till you guys went to the round. >> Okay. Did you guys go into the residential at all after you left? >> No, we didn't go in the residential. He straight down Manz. >> Okay. >> And when he come down Mazanas, I was on his ass. >> He was trying to haul. He couldn't lose me. He shot through the roundabout this way. When he realized he wasn't going to lose me, that's when he pulled over. >> So you're following him. He pulled off the road. But then what do you do when you see him pull off? >> When um when you talking about when you pull off >> Yeah. So you came through the roundabout, you see him pull off the road and then what happened? >> I pulled I pulled off behind him. >> Okay. >> But I wasn't off the road like he was. >> Yeah. But you were stopped. >> Yeah. But I was stopped and I was talking to the dispatcher. That's when he opened the door and I seen the gun and I >> So he opened the door up all the way. >> Yeah. He opened that damn all the way. Yep. >> Okay. And then left like you see him gun in hand, both hands one. >> Boom. I go. >> What What did the gun look like? Like you saw >> that about about that long. >> Yeah. And that was shiny. Don't nothing looked like a revolver but a revolver. >> Yeah. >> So the looked like a revolver to me. >> Okay. >> And that's when the dude said that we found a revolver. That's the he had. >> Yeah. So it look like a revolver. He was pointing at you. That's when he tried to do a U-turn. >> Yep. I bust I went back the other way. I was still on the phone with the dispatch. And by that time I seen the patrol truck cut. >> Yeah. And he at you while you're doing the U-turn. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's Yo that he me after I made the U-turn. Okay. That's why I thought that hole in the back was another gun, but that's an exit. >> So driving away, was he still shoot? >> He was still He was still shooting at me when I was going the other direction. >> Okay. >> When I seen the I told the dispatch, I said, "He's still at me." When the patrol truck came, I hopped behind the patrol truck. >> Okay. >> Cuz it looked like they was going to pass him, but then he jumped back and jumped behind me. >> Yeah. >> And then that's when we ended up >> Okay. That's when we end up here. Eventually, the stalker was charged [music] with four felonies and one misdemeanor. The felony charges including discharging a firearm from a vehicle, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, firing a deadly missile into an occupied [music] vehicle, and using a firearm during the commission of a felony. The lone misdemeanor charge was battery. Next up is the moment officers had to arrest a stalker with dark intentions. Someone who somehow believed she could outrun the law, even while in cuffs. >> I did go to her house, but I didn't. Was it stalking her like in the real life? >> Yeah. What are you going to do? >> Now you're really going. >> On July the 27th, 2025, Poria City police officers followed the breadcrumbs to a home where a suspected stalker was reportedly staying. They were there to follow up on a report that she had been stalking another woman and her newborn. This is her. >> Tell Evangelina to come to the door. >> Is Angelina here? >> We know she's here. Come outside. >> Can you tell her to come outside? >> Okay. >> He's coming. He's coming. She did something wrong. >> Yeah, I got to talk to her about something. >> Evangeline. >> Yes, sir. >> Step out with me. >> What happened? I don't know. >> I'm going talk to you here in a second. >> Hurt us anyway. We going to walk back to my car. >> All right. So, walked into somebody's home a few days ago. >> I'm going to this one right here. This one right here. >> Stand right here. Face the car for me. We got traffic cuz I said you might pattern down for me. >> You mind pattern down for me? >> All right. You don't have anything on you. You said >> let go of your sweatshirt. Let go of your sweatshirt. The lack of protest felt like an admission and it was eerie. But silence doesn't mean that she was timid. If anything, the quiet ones were the ones you should look out for most. >> Can you hear me clearly? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Before I talk to you about what I need to talk to you about, I'm read your rights. Okay. having these rights in mind. Would you like to talk to him? >> I would like to talk to you. >> Okay. >> So, what what was the deal with you? What's your relationship with Rebecca? >> She's a friend of mine. >> Friend of yours? >> Yes. >> So, what's the deal with you going in her in her residence? >> I had knocked on the door. She didn't answer it. So, I decided to go inside of it because it was unlocked. So, you decided to go inside cuz it was unlocked. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> What's the deal with um you stalking her? >> I haven't talked to her in a while and we don't usually talk that often. >> So, I decided to search on her Facebook to see how she was doing and I saw that she had a baby and I was, you know, happy for her. I'm sorry. Say that last part again. >> I had said that I wanted to see how she was doing. I can't go on social media and see how her friend is doing. >> Yeah, I got you. But you stated that you was stalking her. >> I wasn't really stalking her like in real life. I didn't go to her. Like I did go to her house, but I didn't wasn't stalking her like in the real life. >> You wasn't stalking her in real life. You just on her web web her >> on her social media just trying to see how she was. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Well, right now you going to you going to jail for criminal trespass. You can't just walk in people's houses. >> How long? >> For how long you going to be in jail? >> Yeah. >> You'll get you're more than likely to get out tomorrow. >> Okay. Just for a day. >> More than likely. You'll see a jail. >> This has happened before. I've went to jail for hitting my mother. >> Uh-huh. >> I'm going to jail for trespassing. >> Yep. >> For a day. a night >> pretty much. You'll see a judge tomorrow. >> Okay. >> Would you like me to tell mom what's going on? >> Yes, please. >> Okay, I got you. >> Hey, can you go sit with her for a second? >> Yeah. >> I'm about to go tell mom. She want me to tell mom what's going on. >> I kind of told her she wanted to house. >> Yeah. put to residence. >> She didn't want to talk. >> She did. >> You about to stop it? >> I'll tell you later. >> Hey, do you have like a phone or something that you want to go with you? >> Yes, I have a phone. >> Where's the phone at? >> Where at? >> In my room. >> In your room. Okay. Cuz once you get out to the jail, they will let you get in your phone and get numbers out if you want it. Or do you know numbers by heart? >> You want your phone? >> I need phone. >> Okay. Judging by her latest moves. She was quietly planning her next moves. She knew the walls were closing in and felt the pressure to act, but the choice she [music] soon made offered a chilling glimpse of what she was truly capable of. Listener, you need video recorded on a body warn camera. Step out of the car, please. Go that way. Half cups on. Where'd your cuffs go? >> Turn over. >> Really? >> I got it. >> Are you going? >> Now you're really going to jail. >> I want to go to jail. Well, nobody wants to go to jail. >> Don't. Come on. Just quit being there. Come on. Okay. Really? Stand up. Roll over. Stand up all the way. Where you going? I ain't got no charge. >> Pretty sure. >> Yep. >> Trespass to somebody house. >> Dude, you could have got an NTA tonight on that. And now you're going to sit all weekend long. >> Really? Wow. Have a seat. >> Let me resist. >> In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest. So far, we've seen our share of obsessive stalkers, but none compared to this guy who was hiding on a bus around his ex-wife's home, but he had already been trespassed. >> You trespass. You don't live here. >> Yes, I do. >> No, you don't. >> You don't live here. >> Let him be crazy, but not get out of line. But now, and then when he get starts getting out of line, I think I'd have him on my car. All the the text messages that he You want me to show you? >> Well, can you tell me about him first? Uh he was just saying like how we're still technically married, that we're common law married, that he we reside in Laurel, that we both technically still live in Laurel. Um he asked like, "Will you marry me? Your name should have been Jennifer." Just craziness, just nonsense. >> Okay. >> Do you feel threatened by him? >> No. [music] I would smash his face. Like without a doubt, I do not feel threatened by him. But he's unpredictable. >> I I must have blacked out. I'm sorry. I'm more than happy to refresh your memory. >> I smoked some up the road and it was it just messed my head up. I'm sorry. >> October the 3rd, 2023, an officer was called out after a disorderly man who had already been trespassed was spotted lingering in the same area, this time visibly agitated. While the officer arrived, he moved quickly to deescalate a situation that looked like it was about to devolve into a full-blown crisis. >> Nice to see, too. What's your name? >> This is my home, dude. What do you want? >> Do you live here? >> This is my wife's home and my son's home. Yes. But you don't live here? >> Yes, I live here. My address is here. >> But do you live here? >> I own this property. Yes, sir. >> Would you like to calm down? >> All I did was pull up. You don't have to have an attitude. So, take a deep breath before you make a mistake. >> Calm down. >> Yeah. >> I'm not the person to mouth off to. >> Why? >> You trespass. You don't live here. >> Yes, I do. >> No, you don't. >> You don't live here cuz you called me for a wellbeing check last week. >> You didn't make it. I did make it. Then >> why do you call me back? >> Because she's already spoken to you. >> 21104. You want to ask? >> I'm out of here. >> All right. You're being trespassed. If you come back, you'll be taken to jail. >> Okay. >> Thank you, sir. I'm a carpenter, bro. >> Okay. Kick rocks. >> Started my own company. >> Kick rocks. >> Make cousin carpenter. >> He's highly underrated. I believe he's going to be taking here now. Trying to find my keys. >> They're fine. Find your keys. Come on. The faster you get out of here, the faster I don't have to deal with this anymore. Come on. >> I don't have my keys. >> Okay, then walk. You're being trespassed. >> I'm not trying to hurt you, dude. I just want to ask her to marry me. >> Okay. She doesn't want to marry you cuz she wants you trespassed. But I made like >> trying to give her stuff, dude. Just [music] relax. Okay. I'm not doing anything wrong. >> 50. I'm moving out. I don't want to live with her anymore. I don't want to get married anymore. Okay. >> Okay. >> That's it. So me or anything. >> Don't plan on you unless you do something really, really stupid. >> What would I do? Come at me. >> Why? >> Cuz you're extremely agitated. All I asked you to do was leave. >> I'm happy as I just got a new job. >> Fantastic. Well, let's go be happy somewhere else other than here. >> And I found this gun. It's a Richard. I was going to give it to my son. >> My bastard, dude. >> Okay. Are you going to look for your keys or are you going to walk? Which one? >> Hey, Steve. >> Don't walk up on me. Walk away. What? >> Walk away. Why? >> You're being trespassed. >> Why? All my here. >> You don't You don't live here. >> Yes, I do. I live here. >> No, you don't. I was out here last week. >> Five years, [music] bro. >> You don't live here. >> I pay for the property. >> Okay, take a deep breath and calm down again. >> Thank you. Don't arrest me. I don't plan on arresting you unless you stay here. >> I'm not doing nothing wrong. Don't arrest me. All right. I just got to put my son stuff there. All right. I'm joining army. I'm out. No problems. >> Fantastic. >> No problem. >> I don't want any problems. Forget half of this is Valuchi County. >> This is Lake County, >> but down there is Palooi County. >> Down there is Lake County, too. >> But down further is Lucy County. >> You got to go about 10 miles down 44. >> Start pushing me then. [music] >> I'm not pushing. You can get out or you can go to jail. >> What? >> You can leave or you can go to jail. Those are your options. >> How am I going to leave? >> You got two feet that work just fine. You've been walking around here the entire time. You can call a tow truck for your property. >> Don't pull Don't pull that gun. >> I'm not pulling my gun. My hands are on my chest. You're fine. >> Tried to shoot me. She smacked me in my house the other day. Did you hear about that? >> Where was that at? >> Pearson. >> Did you call the police? >> Yes. >> Okay. Did they file a report? >> No. >> Violent and possessive stalker [music] is the pinnacle of delusional obsession. And this man's tense agitation and possessive nature made the situation even more delicate. With all the writing on the wall, the officers could tell that this [music] routine approach alone wouldn't be enough to contain him and his madness. >> Cuz she said I made it up. >> I don't work for Pearson. >> She's saying I'm making up for it. >> What are you yelling at me for? >> Cuz she's lying to you, dude. >> Listen, dude. I haven't even talked to her. I came out and did your well-being check last week. I know you don't live here. You've already lied to me and said you do live here. So, I'm going to give you two options now. And one option one is to leave. Option two is to go the to jail. All right. Don't do it. >> Try my Get the out of here. >> Give me the channel. Roll the window all the way down. >> DON'T ROLL THE WINDOW ALL THE WAY DOWN. >> Roll the window down. >> Slowly open the door. >> Slowly open the door. >> Please, please don't take me, dude. Don't taste me. >> OPEN THE DOOR. FACE AWAY FROM ME. Let me see your hands. [screaming] Face away FROM ME. STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE. STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE. >> DON'T CHASE ME. >> STEP OUT [screaming] OF THE VEHICLE. >> DON'T CHASE ME. >> STEP OUT OF THE CAR. >> DON'T CHASE ME. PLEASE, DUDE. Don't chase me. Don't chase me. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please don't. I'll leave. I'll leave. I'm leaving right now. >> STEP OUT OF THE CAR. >> I'M SORRY. >> STEP OUT OF THE CAR. LAST WARNING TO STEP OUT OF THE CAR. Face away from me. >> Don't tase me. Please don't tase me. >> Face away from me. >> Taylor, you need to step out of the car and face [music] away from me now. >> Don't tase me. Please. >> Please don't tase me. Please. Please. Please. [music] Please don't. >> Place your hands behind your back. >> What? I do. >> Place your hands behind your back. >> DO NOT MOVE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? DO YOU UNDERSTAND? >> YES, SIR. >> Like he's detained. You can clear it. >> Don't tense up. >> Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. [music] Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Stand up. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get my Just trying to give my son some stuff. [music] That's all. Stand up. >> It's his birthday. >> You're going to walk over here now. >> This is his birthday, dude. That's all I'm trying to do. >> Okay. Well, you're done up now. >> Why? >> Really? Grabbing a nail gun and pointing it at me is >> I didn't. I was trying to give it to my son, buddy. >> That's not what you did, bud. >> I was trying to get >> You open that passenger door and pointed the nail gun. >> No, I did not. >> Don't. >> It's not even There's no one. >> Don't tense up. >> What are you doing, dude? Why are you doing this to me? >> Because you pointed a nail, buddy. >> You did. >> I did not. >> I watched you do it. >> I did not. >> You're a liar. >> I'm not lying. >> You're lying. >> I watched you do it. >> You're lying. >> All you had to do is leave. That's it. >> That's all I'm doing is leaving. You weren't leaving. You were pushing stuff out of the car after several times I told you to leave. >> I just wanted to give my son birthday gifts. That's all. >> You have anything on you I need to know about anything that would poke sticker in any way, shape? >> I don't think so. >> His unruly approach had escalated the [music] situation far more than necessary, but his scheming mind still believed he could twist the situation in his favor. >> Just trying to say bye to my son. I'm just going to go join the army. Who is it? >> Her son's for my son, dude. He started for his mother. >> He started quiet. >> Hey, relax. He started for my son. Relax. >> Okay. I'm fine. >> I'm fine. I'm fine. >> I came around the corner before that me. >> Hey, did I tell you to get up off your chest? >> I'm sorry. Sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> I just She freaks me out, dude. She always takes my son and makes me freak out. I don't know why she keeps doing this to me. >> You got anything that's gonna poke me, cut me, stick me, stab me? >> No, dude. I don't do drugs. >> You got any razor blade lines? Anything like that? >> Nothing, man. I don't think so. Roll up around here. Right side. Sit up. Get ready to stand up. Undo these hands. Take your hands. >> I told her she does this every time. She makes me freak out. It's my son and you guys take me to jail every time. I'm perfectly fine, dude. with me. I have >> Okay. >> Thank you. Double lock it, please. >> That's what I'm trying to do. >> Unclas your hand for me so I can do it. >> Oh, you're good. >> Thank you. >> There you go. >> Thank god I'm following a seat. >> I'm falling free from her, dude. >> She's such a horrible vehicle. She's such a horrible vehicle. >> She takes my little boy away all the time. >> There's no reasoning for it, dude. >> I think it's stalking at this point. Yeah, I agree. >> I unwanted >> the wellbeing check. She said this isn't the first time. Last when I did the wellbeing check, she said it wasn't the first time. >> Okay, so >> I'll uh photograph this. >> I'll go as far as even getting a statement from her real quick. >> Um, see if you want to. >> After Karm was restored to the scene, the officers finally had time to speak with his aranged partner, whose explanation brought both clarity and a sense of threat. Walk down here a little bit in the shade. I like the shade a little bit more. >> I had my adrenaline going. >> Me too. Not every day I get a nail pointed at me. Um, as far as it goes puppy, he's fine. Um, as far as it goes with his vehicle, we'll go. We can tow it. Um, we can tow it or we can leave it. None of our options. Unless you have private arrangements that you'd like to specifically do for cuz you know family or something like that can come pick it up. Um, >> I think he stuffed his key under the gate. >> Is that the key to the truck? Well, the thing's binging. When you open the door, it's binging. Like, there's a key in there. Where is the cat at? >> There's no cat. It's >> It was doing It was doing that last time I was out here. >> Um, >> okay. Um, as far as it goes, um, >> I tried to do what you suggested. I went through the county. No, the exparte. And I I went to Bay County and they said, "No, you have to go through his county." So I was like, "Great." I printed out all the the text messages of him acting crazy and wrote my statement, had it typed out, printed it out. >> Which county was this that you had to go through now? >> I guess his. >> Did you have a chance to file it with him or anything yet? >> No. I've been so mentally exhausted. I haven't even I had so much stuff that I needed to do today and I'm just kind of like I didn't think that he was going to come out here. Is is there a child custody agreement in place? Is it like you get 100% he gets like zero? Is it he gets to send you for a weekend? >> We never went for custody at all. I just let him take him every Friday and he bring >> It was kind of a mutual verbal agreement. Okay. So, it had to gone to court. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> He brings him back Monday. He goes to school and then he comes and takes him to scouts. Like he was everything was fine. It was great. And then he just has this mental snap and I don't know what triggers him. I remember you said that last time that he has mental snaps. >> Um, >> and this is the first time I thought he'd be long gone by the time you guys got here. >> So, as far as it goes, I'm going to have to review the statute, but I I do know that he called in the wellbeing check last week. Was there anything between the wellbeing check and today? >> No. >> No. Did he I I know he blew up your phone that day of the wellbeing check. Has he still been blowing up your phone? >> That's why it's like he he knows >> he just disappeared. >> Yeah. And then he he ends up over here in in my woods and I hear Jack saying, "Okay, I'll be there in a minute." And I immediately was like on guard. But I mean, as far as the truck, I'm sure uh his family or somebody would come. >> Are you Are you able to contact his family for him to come pick it up or >> they're already coming here uh tomorrow to pick up my kids? I I got >> So you just want to leave it so they can pick it up then? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Today he's going to be going to jail. Um, and just >> and and that's >> that he did >> aggravated on law enforcement when he decided to point a nail gun at me. >> Um, >> he he kept claiming he was going to leave. He was going to follow the trespass and he just kept going and kept going. >> Maybe he didn't know he put a key underneath my gate. >> He wasn't even looking for the key anymore. He was just dumping crap out of the car. That's all he was doing. He was doing a me a mass exodus purge of everything out of that car. >> I don't understand that either. >> He kept claiming everything was his sons. The dictionary is his. I'm pretty sure the purse is not my kids. >> Um, as far as that goes, would you be able to fill out a statement, a written statement for the events that occurred today? You seeing him in here in the woods, stuff like that? >> Yeah. >> Um, if a crime can be determined on the fact that you are the victim, do you want to press charges? >> Uh, as far as trespassing, he's going to be trespassed. Uh, he refused to trespass. Um, on top of all the stuff with that, you're possibly looking at stalking me. I would have to review the statute to be 100% certain for you. >> I don't want to, >> but >> you know, put anymore. >> Let Let me Let me put it this way. This isn't something that you're doing. >> Yeah. >> This is him doing actions and these are repercussions. >> As far as the statement goes, the statement is just to document the events that occurred today prior to me showing up. And I everyone that's around him, we all try to like cushion him from like this, you know, let him be crazy but not get out of line. But now and then when he get starts getting out of line, then we try to intervene and fix it. >> The officer gathered as much information as he could from the woman before returning to his cruiser where an unexpected and deeply unsettling scene was waiting [music] inside. >> What about you sent calls? >> Oh yeah, he sent me I have all the I think I have them on my car. all the the text [music] messages that he want me to show you. >> Well, can you tell me about him first? >> Uh he was just saying like how we're still technically married, that we're common law married, that he [music] we reside in Laurel, that we both technically still live in Laurel. Um he asked like, "Will you marry me? Your name should have been Jennifer." Just craziness, just nonsense. >> Okay. >> Do you feel threatened by him? >> No. I would smash his face. Like without a doubt, I do [music] not feel bad, but he's unpredictable. >> I just I just don't need the the crap, you know? Like I just don't need it. Uh when I went to pick up um >> Do you feel like he's harassing you in any way? >> I picked up Jackson Sunday or I mean Monday of school and I had to go pick him up over at Taylor's house and when I show up he's erratic. He's throwing stuff at my car and um I told him I said I'm getting him and I'm leaving and I said don't don't contact me leave me alone and when you get fixed then you come you call me and he just >> he left me alone but then today is what what happened. Okay. >> Set up. >> I got COPD, dude. >> What are you doing? >> Sitting up. >> What are you doing? >> I have EMS coming to check your oxygen. Just stay sitting up. like to not act. >> But we're not doing that no more. >> I'm sorry. >> That's out of the options. >> I can't see my son anymore. >> Well, we're going to jail. We're not going to a daycare. You do realize that, correct? >> No. I thought I was going to see my son. >> No, we're going to the jail. That's why you're in handcuffs in the backseat of a marked patrol car. >> All right. aggravating law enforcement, stalking, resisting without and trespass after warning. Those are your four talking about >> the whole incident back at that house. >> What house? >> The house that you were trespassed from like 10 minutes ago. >> What are you talking about? Where am I at? >> You're inside of a Lake County Sheriff's Office patrol car. >> What happened? I thought I was drinking or something. I was in my bed a minute ago. What the is going on? Why happened? Is Jack's okay? >> Jack's fine. >> I don't gator ate him. He was down in the springs and he was down by the water. I was there to protect him and the gator came and ate him. So a bad dream to be a bad drink. I'm not a bad guy. >> I swear I just woke up and I just was going to get my stuff. I don't Did I hit my [music] head or something? >> No. You uh you pointed the nail gun at deputy. >> A nail gun. >> You pointed the nail gun at >> the orange red nail gun I was giving my wife. I was trying to give it to her. You pointed it at me. >> Who? >> At me. >> At you. >> After you shuffled around in your truck for a minute, after I specifically told you to leave, you opened the door, started throwing everything out after you ran at me. >> I remember, dude. I I must have blacked out. I'm sorry. >> I'm more than happy to refresh your memory. >> I smoked some up the road, and it it was it just messed my head up. I'm sorry. >> I I just want to be a good father. That's all like my dad was. He was such a good dad. I remember when I was like 17, some lady got hit by a Mexican dude and he ran out and he saved her life. It was so horrible. Glass smashed her face and it was shot of glass all over there. Like I was taking it out. He's amazing. >> Eventually, he was charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest with this guy was a disturbing creep, but he was nothing compared to Claude, who went as far as posing as a police officer to set up his ex-girlfriend for a DUI. Sheriff's office. This is Ashley. >> Uh, I'm a state trooper from another state. I'm reporting a drunk driver. Yeah, she's wicked. I'm telling you right now, this person is wicked drunk. Oh my god. >> We had an offduty law enforcement officer call you in. That's why we have stopped you. Okay. Hey, >> in March 2022, Florida police officers received a distress call from a woman claiming that her ex-boyfriend was making her life miserable with incessant calls, emails, texts, and voicemails. She had filed a restraining order against him earlier following his constant domestic. However, for some reason, the stalker ex-boyfriend, who was dumb enough to have made a mess of his relationship, chose to defy the restraining order against him and repeatedly kept [music] trying to make contact with the young lady. She had made reports to the Florida Police Department with evidence of his constant harassment, [music] but directly linking it to Claude seems like an impossible thing to do, as he was smart enough to mask his phone number and email addresses. Fortunately, sometime in mid-March 2022, he took things a bit too far in trying to make his ex's life more miserable [music] and made one disturbing call to the Florida Police Department, posing as an offduty New York State [music] Police trooper. >> Sheriff's office, this is Ashley. >> Uh, I'm a state trooper from another state. I'm reporting a drunk driver [music] northbound on uh overseas highway. Like, this person's very drunk. Very drunk. >> Okay. Like, >> give me the description of the vehicle. It's a a white truck. >> Do you know what type of truck? What make? >> I'm trying to stay away. This person's really drunk. It's a white Toyota. [music] >> And what are they doing? Just failure to maintain lane. >> Yeah, they're swerving everywhere. >> Okay. What's your last name? >> Con. >> And your first name? >> Exactly. Yeah, I'm still behind it. And uh they're they're swerving really bad. I'm not even kidding. >> All right. >> You got a cop over there? There's somebody else dispatching that information out. >> Okay. Yeah, she's wicked. I'm telling you right now, this person is wicked [music] drunk. Oh my god. >> Following the disturbing call, officers quickly apprehended the reported vehicle only to find out that she was no other than Claude's ex-girlfriend. They conducted a field sobriety test on her, the results of which [music] would have put her in serious trouble if it went south. >> Ma'am, you can put your foot down and go back to your truck. We'll get you out of here in just [music] a second. Okay. We had an offduty law enforcement officer call you in. That's why we had stopped you. Okay. An offduty law enforcement officer observed the violations which is why we stopped to check on you. Okay. So, I understand I guess a little bit if you're on your phone, but you have to understand maybe we thought you were prepared. >> I totally get it. >> And we really do appreciate your cooperation. >> Following the very embarrassing incident, the young lady was a 100% sure that the stunt was pulled by her ex-boyfriend and promptly voiced her concerns. But there was a problem. The phone number though which the report came from wasn't directly linked to Claude. He was brought in for interrogation but still the cops couldn't directly link the call to him and released him. Although he managed to slip through this time there was evidence of [music] him violating the restraining order against him and an arrest warrant was gotten for his arrest. It was when the cops apprehended him that they began to unravel the mystery behind the elusive caller who had called in a fake DUI on his ex-girlfriend. [music] The return says warrant for impersonating an official and then also a protection order. Who's the one that put out the warrant? MCSO us. >> A technical deal. >> I don't know what it's for or why, but that doesn't sound. >> What's the warrant for? >> Impersonating an official. >> Okay. For what? What did you do? >> My cousin and I called the cops on her for following me, stalking me with a restraining order, and she was drunk and they came and let her go. Drunk and literally escorted her into her building. So, how does that fall into you impersonating? >> Because my cousin called my whole entire family's cops, right? Like literally everybody but me. My cousin was with me in the car on vacation. This is how it went down. I was driving, pull out of the big chill every day, like clockwork, you can bet you she's going to know where I am. In fact, she tells O'Neal where I am, finds me at my job, and then tells him, and then he comes to talk to me. And I've been on my best behavior. I pull out and she cuts me off and probably so drunk didn't even know it was me. drives into the mangroves and then back onto the highway and she's an alcoholic >> without crashing. >> Dude, she is a complete alcoholic, but like without crashing, swerving, you know, driving like off the side of the road. So my cousin's like, "You call. Why would you not call?" She's called the cops like 80 times when she's trying to steal your house. I said, "You call. You're a cop." >> Where does he work? >> New York. He calls. Didn't give his real name. >> Okay. >> Swear to God, he's 26 years old. And she says, "Well, that's just my ex calling." So, I got arrested for that because O'Neal said that it was me on the phone. >> Did it come from his phone or your phone? >> It came from a different phone, but my it show O'Neal has my phone calling his phone calling, you know, because we're connected from the phones cuz he can read my phone records. So, he has something, but he doesn't have like proof that it's my voice. He's not. >> So, what are you saying? You're gone, but without you actually being on the line, >> right? It's not like it's not, you know, what am I gonna do? I mean, it's not my voice. So, >> do you have Yeah. Yeah. That's why I have her on camera like 15 times coming down my vlog. Like, I'll be at the camera with no registration. Go inside and then I'll come out and literally panically, of course, I my whole life is a TV show. I have a dash cam. My house is put up with cameras. >> Smart. >> And no matter how much stuff I show Garcia, he just denies emotions, you know. Are you ready? >> Like most creeps, although he had reached the end of the road, he kept trying to put his ex-girlfriend in trouble by turning the whole situation around and pretending to be the victim himself. A counter allegation that could potentially once again turn the whole situation around in his favor. >> She's the one that's contacting you or or following you or what. So that's the second thing about like came in my house and told me she was going to kill me on camera. I have the video. And then literally took looked and smelled my bed sheets, went in my bathroom, went through my drawers, and left. All of the cops, lied on police record, said that I came to her house. >> You didn't show them that. >> I did. I gave it to you. He said, "She wants to feel safe. I'm going to make her feel safe for 2 years." >> Oh, I know. But what they do about that, her entering your home? Were you guys still married at the time or together or like living together? >> She lived in a different apartment. She lied on record. And the cop even wrote it on the Madam paper said she lied and they didn't do anything about it. And now this guy's destroying my >> like literally ruining my life. I'm a single dad. I got my kids by myself. >> Is it kids in common or no? >> No. God, she just wants money. She called me and asked for 80 grand and sent a phone call to Officer O'Neal and said that I had contacted her and I still got arrested. >> So they just confirmed your warrant. So, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take your hat off. Make sure take everything out of your pocket. >> All right. >> Claude was eventually charged with felony counts of aggravated stalking, impersonating a law enforcement officer, unlawful use of a two-way [music] communication device, misdemeanor accounts of misuse of a 911 system, and false report of a crime. If you thought Claude was a creep, meet the next stalker who put a tracking device in his girlfriend's car. A move that definitely did not age well. >> So, you actually put a tracking device on her car? Okay. >> On the 7th of September, 2021, a police officer received a call from a woman alleging that a man had put a GPS tracker on her vehicle. When the officers arrived at the scene, they had no idea that they [music] would be dealing with a very obsessed pervert. >> Hey, how are you? >> Good. How are you? >> Good. Uh, my name is Officer W at John Street Police Department. I don't know what what's going on today. Okay. So that's the first time I came. I just thought she might do with someone. So I thought to see where she was. That's all I did. I didn't do anything else. I didn't I never had any criminal history. >> Okay. >> Like that. I just wanted to see where she was and >> who what's your relationship together? >> We hang out for 2 years. >> You guys are So you guys are like friends? >> Yeah. Kind of like friends. Not girlfriend. But so that's what I did. And I said I would never contact you again. I destroy the device. Please this one time let me go because I I'm like a student. >> So this is the one time. >> So what [clears throat] what's you said? You said you thought she was with someone tonight. >> Yes. She said she went to the hotel. So I [clears throat] thought she might be with someone. So I just wanted to see who it was. >> Okay. >> So that's why I put the tracking device. Other than that, I didn't do anything else. >> So you actually put a tracking device on her car? Okay. Where where is it at? Uh, under the black car. >> Under the car. Is it on the driver's side? Passenger side. >> Like on that side wheel. >> On this side. >> Yes. Under this. >> Under the wheel right here. >> Not under the wheel. But like in front of the wheel, but on the metal surface. >> On the metal. >> I will destroy it and I will go and I won't do anything. I can. >> Do you have your ID with you? >> Yes. >> Can I get that from you? >> At this point, [music] this guy was beginning to realize that he was in trouble. >> This is the only chance I need. I'm really sorry. >> Okay. >> I It's just a relationship thing. That's it. >> Were you guys a thing? like were you guys a couple >> thing like not like officially but we were kind of like hanging out and went to like going out places and stuff. So we were kind of thinking of that. >> Okay. >> I was working trying to work out. >> You were trying to work that. Okay. And so you so she told you that she was meeting somebody today at a hotel >> at the hotel. So okay. Last time we went to the hotel she said she want to go have a full time and stuff and but she said uh she got a call and she want to go and I was kind of upset. So I thought she she was like lying to me or anything like that. So I put a tracker on that uh the other day and next like a two days back she said she went to hotel. So I thought she went with somebody. So that's I had a track device like a couple of days last week on so I just used it to track it and see where she was. That's I didn't do anything prime and >> have you done that before? >> No, first time. >> This is your first time >> for her or at all? >> At all? >> At all? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I never had any criminal history. >> Okay, just hang out. I'll be right back. Like I said, I need to sort some stuff out. I don't really know what's going on. No one cuz cuz everyone's split. Like I have some officers over there. I'm out here with you. I don't have the whole picture. So that's what I'm trying to figure out. Okay. I'll be right back. All right. >> Eventually, it started becoming clear that this guy was even more obsessed than [music] expected. >> Give me a rundown about what happened today. Like you >> today. >> Yeah. You said she was, you know, you had knowledge she was going to a hotel. >> She's at day before yesterday night. >> Yep. >> She said um I said, "Well, where are you?" I like we were planning to meet. So I said, "Where are you?" She said, "Uh, I have a problem with like my roommates and I went to the hotel." >> Okay. >> She But I have like tracking device. >> Which hotel did she go to? >> Uh, Hampton >> here in John's Creek. >> No. >> Or like closer to >> Peace Street Corners. >> P Street Corners. >> So, okay. >> Like since I have the last tracking device, I never came back here to So, I never came back to track her and anything like that. But since she said she was in a hotel, I just thought to see where she was if she was like lying to her with anybody else because like I said, I was trying to work things out. >> So I just uh >> 210. How how big is it? >> It's like a magnet. Black >> like a like a size of a quarter. >> No, more than like this size. Like a this size >> like a watch. >> Yeah, watch this. >> All right. Okay. So she was going staying at a hotel in P Street Corners. Yes. >> Um so I went >> When did you Huh? What? When did you put that on there? >> Uh, last time we went to the hotel. I don't remember the date exactly. Uh, like September September 1st. >> September 1st. >> I found it. >> You found it? >> Yeah. >> The officers would have probably let him go with a warning. But then they received a notification that the lady wanted to press charges. And it was at this point that [music] things took a turn for the worse. >> Uh, come over here for me. Okay. >> All right. At this time, you're under arrest for, you know, unlawful surveillance. Okay. You got something? That's fine. You got something. Okay. >> All right. Remember, we're going to step back to the front of my car. Okay. Because now you're in handcuffs and you're you're under arrest. I'm going to I'm going to search you. Okay. Do you have any weapons on you? Nothing. Anything in your pocket? >> Uh probably key chain and stuff. Maybe. That's it. >> So, we're going to have a seat in the back of my car. Um and I'll explain a little bit some more stuff. Crazy. >> All right, I'm going to read you your Miranda warnings. Okay. In the end, he was charged [music] with unlawful surveillance and stalking.
