On August 17th, 2022, police were called to remove a woman who was causing a disturbance at a restaurant. >> All right, internet. I'm Frank Slope. I'm a 24-year veteran of a sheriff's office here in Arizona. Today, we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. Body Cam Watch is where we found this video. It's an oldie, but a goodie. I've never seen it before. Sam says it's going to be good. So, we're going to be doing some body cam bingo >> [cheering and screaming] >> while we watch. We got card number three. We sell cards one through five in a pack. You can find them on our website. But, we're going to see how card three does as we watch this. >> Hi, how are you? Hey, the manager of this establishment has asked that you leave the business. Okay, you need to turn and walk out the door. >> No, the manager of this business is an idiot. >> That may be, but you got to go right now. >> That's not illegal. When a normal person is looking at their phone, and someone walks up and starts to talk to them, they put their phone down, and they address the person that's talking to them. Unlike this terrible human who absolutely needed to be on her phone more than addressing the two law enforcement officers that walked up to her. So, right from the get-go, red flags are going up that she's going to be terrible. >> Come on, you don't want to go to jail. Walk out. >> It's awful. >> Come on, walk. >> Go ahead. >> I know. Go ahead and walk out. Come on. Come on. Start walking. >> For what reason? >> The manager doesn't I'm going to get you for what? >> hands behind your back. You're under arrest. Hands behind your back. Turn around. You're under arrest. Put your hands behind your back. Stop resisting. >> [laughter] >> Remember when you put your hands out and said arrest me? Remember when that happened? Pepperidge Farm remembers. I think there's a common misconception amongst society that they think they have more rights than they actually do. So, when you are in a private establishment or you're on the plane owned by a private business or you're in someone's Uber that's owned by a private human being, you don't have the right to stay there once someone says you're no longer welcome. So, that's called trespassing. And you can trespass in a restaurant. If you are causing a disturbance and the management says, "Hey, you're no longer welcome here." you can leave. And then when you don't, they say, "Please leave." or "You have to leave." and you still don't, and then the cops are called and you still don't leave, and then the cops get there and say you have to leave, and you still don't leave, that's when you go to jail. Like, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. And I how how absolutely arrogant you have to be to think that everyone is wrong. Everyone, the waitstaff, the management, the law enforcement officers, that they're all wrong and that you're right because you have a right that you perceive that you have when you actually don't. >> Get your [ __ ] hands >> I don't do requests. >> Get your [ __ ] hands off me. >> I love this guy. >> 606 966 >> Get your hands off of me. >> I'll be 10-15 in the front. >> hands off me. >> Signal lady. Signal 51. And all right, without saying anything cage car. Love it. >> Get your hands off me. >> See [laughter] her trying to deal with the friend? She's being arrested. You have to stay over here with me. >> Okay, why? >> Well, we told her to leave. She was trespassed by management and then she attempted to push through the police officer and myself. So, she now she's being placed under arrest for resisting arrest and trespass. >> As everything keeps getting more expensive, people are trying to find new ways to save money. Here's a start. Ma'am. >> No, don't tell me what to do. >> I'm telling you what to do. >> Oh, great. >> Come on over here. >> Look how tightly made he stopped. Look what he's doing to me. Look, he's cutting off my circulation. He's twisting my arm. >> any closer. >> Because I told the manager >> Don't lock any closer. >> Because I told the manager I wasn't happy with >> I'm not inferring anything. >> You're welcome to stand on the sidewalk. It already is being recorded. >> Recorded. >> It already is. >> Because I told the manager >> I guarantee that this is not the first manager that this woman has spoke to. I think we can agree that she is obviously the type of person that will go to a store, be dissatisfied with something, and instead of just taking your business elsewhere, want to create a commotion by demanding a manager. She's that person. Well, finally, this manager said, "You know what? I don't want to deal with you anymore. Please get out of my restaurant." And she couldn't, absolutely could not, take that hit to her ego. And then refused to leave, and then that that's the catalyst for all of this. It's just This is all ego and arrogance. Your terrible behavior's already being recorded. >> We We were asking for our salt and pepper, and they were standing there talking together. >> to arrest >> And I said >> She was being arrested because she wouldn't leave the business after she was told to leave. That's why. >> wrists and your >> You're under arrest. No. You pulling on this cuff? >> cutting my circulation. >> You pulling on this cuff is why it's hurting. >> You're cutting my circulation. My son is a state trooper. >> I guarantee if this woman's son is indeed a Florida state trooper, and I am a big fan of Florida Highway Patrol. I They are a great agency, and I've got some great friends there. I guarantee that her son watched this video in absolute shame that his mother would act in this way, and then mention him. I couldn't imagine I couldn't I just I it How embarrassed I would be if someone found out that my mom acted like this, and then said that her son worked in law enforcement. What a Oh. What a terrible human. >> Come on. Are you kidding me? >> What? >> Would you mind putting her in the car? >> Are you really going to arrest >> I'm not hurting her. Her pulling on these cuffs is what's hurting her. If >> Yeah, okay. Well, you This is getting a little ridiculous. >> I agree. If she would have turned around and left the business, we wouldn't be here today. >> Absolutely. >> Yeah, but officers you arrest people for that. Come on. >> It's called trespassing. Yes, we do. >> That's a criminal offense. >> Hey, that's not I'm here for this issue right now, okay? I'm not worried about it. >> I've been a Martini Martha. >> That's also standard. Yeah, we're going to spend our money here. >> Officer. >> Cuz I told them I'm a star. >> do with our taxpayer money? >> Absolutely correct. Yeah, we arrest people that commit crimes. No, you're not. He's going to give you a lawful order. How easy that is. >> This is why we have the problems we've got. >> Not succeed. We also have a few more officers at home. >> I I don't get this. >> Oh, well. >> You're in communist. This is called communism. Right here, right now, this is what we got. >> This is our dinner. >> This is what we got. >> We got criminals coming over our southern border, but we're going to arrest this woman. >> We're having dinner together. >> Are you freaking kidding? >> I'm complaining about the service. >> Why? Why? >> She didn't leave when she was immediately told to leave, I believe. >> Super easy. >> That's correct. >> Okay, she was told to leave. She tried to press past the officer physically. >> Yep. >> After she was told to leave by management, so she's being arrested for failure to leave upon trespass and resisting arrest. >> Super easy. >> Can you just Can you let her go? She didn't understand what was going on. >> She understood. She was given multiple warnings and told to leave. >> I mean I mean that's that's ridiculous cuz I can't I can't breathe. >> Yes, it is. I am. >> You know what? We're going to post everything on Facebook. >> Okay. You're more than welcome to. I'm going to post it on Facebook, too. >> Take a picture of us. >> I've been taking a picture. I got them. >> It's like this war is being arrested? >> Are you kidding? >> We're having dinner together. >> Are you >> the owner, the manager? >> No, I'm the security supervisor for property. >> Yeah, we're in a good spot. You're really >> Honey, I'm afraid this is going to be stranded if I don't pick her up. I am so that I did. >> Once we get a few more here, I need a double lock. No one else can get the purse off. >> All right. Here is what we pay our police officers. >> Jupiter PD, I like it. >> This is this is a grandmother, a mother. Come on, guys. I mean >> And how many of you No, do grandmothers and mothers not commit crimes? Are you going to tell me your name and neighbor? You're legally required to provide your identification. I can't let go of you. I can hold Okay. Here we go. You're legally required to tell me that information, okay? >> Criminal investigation. You're under arrest. So, she's asked for ID. She's under arrest. This is a obvious criminal investigation because it ended up with a criminal arrest being made. And the only time that she shuts her trap is the only time that legally she can't. She literally has to say her identification. At least name and date of birth. And she This is the only time that she just stops decides to stop talking. Um which is probably another right that she thinks that she has that she doesn't. Now, if these are I don't know if she's going to be charged with it, but failing to provide evidence of identity is a At least it's a crime here in Arizona. So, maybe it's not a crime in Florida. I'm not familiar enough with with Florida criminal code, but I feel like it is. So, here in Arizona, that's another charge. >> Okay. Do you have anything illegal in your purse? Then I'll have to search after your identification. >> Super easy. >> Big pictures. Big pictures of them. Go to >> through my car. >> Yeah, it's called search incident to arrest. We can do that. >> wouldn't act like that, ma'am. >> Well, I'm sure if you were misbehaving, she'd be putting you in your place, I would hope. >> And I don't misbehave. I love it. >> That's it, I'm a criminal. >> Yep. That happens when you commit a crime. We don't give out our names, ma'am. >> Oh, really? >> I'm not. >> Yeah, if she just left, this would never have happened. If you could >> But I don't have a >> If nobody she just left, ma'am. >> Dude, I'm going to say name and badge number. >> I believe upwards of seven times. >> The need for an officer to identify themselves varies from state to state and from department to department. Um there are some states, I think like California, you're you're mandated to. Uh it is, as far as I know, it is not in Arizona state law and that is simply left to each individual agency um and their the discretion of their command staff, whether they have policies that allow or don't allow officers to say their name, badge number, whatever it may be. I love that Jupiter PD, that it's apparently their policy that they don't give out their names. I love that. I think it's great. I would way rather just give a a serial number or, you know, we call it a serial number or badge number um and say, "Hey, this is my badge number, it's 1 2 3 4." That's it. They can the police department knows who badge number 1 2 3 4 is and if they want to take this further as if there is some allegation of misconduct, they will be able to figure out, "Hey, officer 1 2 3 4, he worked on this day, he was on this call. Yep, that's him." Um I think it's a great idea. I love that policy and I also love that the whole group of associated friends um this entourage of mouthy broads um just can't can't understand it's their policy and they don't have to tell you. So, sorry. >> And when we stood in front of her, she literally, physically touched the officer and myself. >> I didn't push anybody. >> Video shows otherwise. >> touch with me. >> friend >> When you stick your hand out and say, "Go ahead and arrest me." So, that's what happened. >> You did say that. >> No, this this is the way this is the way it's going to go. >> Well, you know what? I'll tell you how it's really going to go. We're not coming back and everybody we know, they're not coming back. >> Okay. You're you're more more than happy to >> You can do that. >> That's fine. You're welcome to your opinion. That's totally fine. We don't give out our names, ma'am. Okay, that's fine. We don't give out our names. >> And you're of the opinion that that she was being violent. That's your opinion. >> Well, I mean you can look at the officer and you look at the camera, so >> would not leave. >> Yeah, that's the bottom line. Hopefully next time you will won't do that. I don't know how much you've had to drink or any other intoxicants might be in your system, but I might have to put you back right now. >> One glass of wine with my dinner. >> I don't know. I'm watching. >> Okay. >> She wouldn't leave. She attempted to press past staff. That's it. Ma'am. Ma'am, that has nothing to do on this situation. >> Look at this. Four police cars, three here and Police here for us? >> No. No, y'all haven't done anything. No, y'all are free to go. You can do whatever you want to do. No. You're hanging out because you want to make a scene. >> So, why are we standing here? Let's get the show on the road. >> So, he just pulled up. We need a female to come over here. >> Uh, but >> A male is not going to touch you. >> Well, this is I am in public. So, why is this all happening in public? The officer >> You decided to create a disturbance in public. >> the police station. So, let's go. I don't know why I'm standing out here. This will go in the history book, okay? I hope you get in a good record in this. Yeah. >> Y'all good? >> Is there a way that you all can come to an amicable agreement? >> Yeah, with the judge. >> This way, I get for complaining about bad service to a bad manager. >> That's not what happened. >> Don't Just don't go back. It's fine. >> Explain what happened. >> Yes, but it's a >> And I I am going to just see this all the way through. I am so glad. >> It's a private establishment. They kick anybody out for anything. >> Yeah, they can kick anyone out for anything. >> Kick anyone out for anything? >> With this? Are you kidding? There's no safety here. This is a communist country. This kind of treatment. We can't de-escalate if the two of >> It's kind of being held accountable for my actions. Uh >> She's going now, and they can't just say, "Okay, enough's enough. You've been warned. You've done enough." >> They here they're they're very they're very good with giving people a chances. So, this is actually pretty This is This doesn't happen a lot. Did you want to keep your jewelry on? They're going to remove all these. >> Why? For what reason? >> Why Why would you think I'd be kidding? >> I don't know. I don't know. >> They're going to take all this when you go into the jail, so that's why I'm asking you. >> Doreen. >> Doreen can't come over here until I I give her permission to come over. Would you be okay with turning that over to >> You want to strip me? Take my clothes, too. Take my clothes, too, okay? Take my shoes, take my clothes. Take >> No one wants that. >> The bracelet and jewelry is an option, okay? You think about it. >> Is this how you treat a law-abiding citizen? >> Well, if you're really abiding by the law. >> Mhm. So, what did you say? to you. >> I explained it to you, didn't I? >> I heard everything you said. >> I've been nothing but respectful to you. Correct? >> These handcuffs on me, having my belongings stripped from me is not respectful to me. Having me stand out here in public handcuffed because I complained about the way you stepped is not respectful. >> That's not why. >> That is. >> That's not why you're in cuffs. >> Let's go. What What are we waiting for? Let's go. >> Yes, do paperwork. >> While I'm standing out here? >> I I asked you if you wanted to sit down. >> I want to go. >> Just got to do paperwork. Yeah. You see them? >> Take these off and let's go. >> No. No, we're not taking them off. Sit down. You said you wanted to go, right? >> When are we going now? >> Shortly, but you have to sit in the car. Okay? >> Tell my church to come and grab all my church. Tell them to come and grab all my belongings. Bring them. >> First you were mad that they made you stand there. Then they want you to sit down, you don't want to do that either. Like come on. So this woman is asking for her church to be notified. Now I don't know if everyone there has some sort of religious affiliation, no matter what it is. But let's just go God as a as an overall being of someone you want to be more like, no matter what your your faith is. I guarantee that the people in her church do not think highly of acting in this manner, which is not God-like or creator-like or earthly, whatever your faith is, it doesn't matter. But when you try to when everyday you wake up and you're like, you know, I'm going to try to be a better human today. And then you end up being like this. You're not being a better human and you definitely want to leave your church out of it. >> Carol, come on. >> Tell him to bring everybody out. >> Carol. Watch your head. At least she fits back there. >> The answer is no, Ronnie. >> She's going to jail. >> Ronnie, come on. >> I gave her every opportunity. All she had to do was turn around and walk out. That's after she put her hands out and touched my vest. She didn't hit me, but she put out her hands and and said, "Arrest me." I'm and I didn't even do anything right then. I took a breath and said, "Please, just walk out." And she couldn't. She wanted to push past and make a scene. So now she has to go to jail. She made all these choices. It's unfortunate she did that. She'll be in jail for some hours and end up getting >> What was that? >> God. >> What is that? >> A lizard. >> That's a big lizard. >> Are you kidding me? It's break free. >> Almost almost landed on your head. Stay. Even the lizard hate you. Carol, we're going to swap out your handcuffs, okay? And this female officer is going to check you before we take you down to jail, okay? So if you can, just bring your legs out, stand up. >> I asked to be driven back to the public place where I was >> [laughter] >> instead of being in this [clears throat] >> It's not a taxi service. >> where none of my friends and nobody can see me. >> This isn't >> I do not feel safe here and I have been saying that. I have been >> No police officer >> You don't feel safe? >> Are you kidding me? The police officer who put handcuffs on me and twisted my arm because I complained about the wait staff. No, I don't. I don't feel safe here and I want to be in a public place. >> Would you like to just do with me only? I have nothing to do with the situation. I'm a female to female. >> I do stand with you. I'm asking him to step >> I like it. >> I They told me >> This female officer is not from Jupiter Police Department. So, it's possible, and it happens with us um in an agency that's not hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of of officers, that sometimes there's just not a female working in our department. Um and in this case, it appears that there wasn't a female available, so they asked a female officer from a neighboring city to come and conduct a search before they brought this woman into jail. That's absolutely normal. We do it all the time. We will lend female deputies to agencies, or we will ask a female from another agency if it's convenient. Um our policy allows males to search females and females to search males um because of the the rural and and you know, very distant areas that we work where there may not I mean, there couldn't be a female officer for 50 miles in any direction many, many times here in the in the remote areas that I work. So, um our policy allows us to search a female, not a big deal at all. It's always nice to have someone else there, um but we do it. Every agency, like I say all the time, their policies are different. So, that's why you may notice that there is a a different different uniform or different patch. They just called in help from a neighbor. >> They won't hurt you. I understand that, but before you can go anywhere, I have to check you. I have to pat you down. And they're not going to do it, so they asked me to come by and handle it. Well, technically you are in a public place. Well, we can check you before you get here. So, I'm asking you nicely step out of the vehicle. Ma'am, stop. You need to step out of the vehicle. I'm literally trying to be nice. I'm probably going to be nice to all of you because you are everyone in today. I swear to god. I tried to be patient. I'm trying to be nice to people and I'm Okay, but I'm sorry to put you stuck in this situation. Nobody else did anything. >> Yes, you did. >> Okay. The hearing is right there. Just come out. I'm trying I asked him to come out. >> you multiple times to come out by yourself and you're not doing it. So, now I'm going to have to help you. >> I asked him to go into >> Step out. We're We're done with all this. Step out of the car. >> You're done with all what? >> Try and negotiate with you or we're going to pull you out. You're under arrest right now. You have to cooperate with our booking procedure. >> You're not cooperating with me, though. >> No, ma'am. No. >> How do you know? >> to come out. Take that right leg. >> Austin, do you want to pull her out that way? >> I got it. Let me get >> You want us to pull you across the car? >> You're not going to push me. You're not going to prod me. You're not going to twist my [ __ ] arm like you are now. >> Okay. Just relax. >> are you? What kind of a man is this? A woman of God. >> Okay. You're tensing and gripping your arms. >> Yeah, mouth like a sailor. >> [ __ ] arm. >> Open your arms so you get them under control. >> [ __ ] off, leave me alone. I'm a head >> All right. >> [laughter] >> What kind of >> Just relax, okay? >> I didn't hit you. Why are you pushing my hair up for? >> finish checking you. >> your hair. >> Do you see this? This is how they treat a woman, a mother, a grandmother, a teacher, a therapist, a law-abiding citizen who goes to church. What the [ __ ] AM I FROM? >> [laughter] >> Y'ALL LET ME PUT MY HANDS all over you. Tell me take it easy. >> All you need to do is >> Get off me. >> [screaming] >> GET OFF ME. GET OFF ME. HELP ME. [laughter] HELP ME. HELP ME. >> I LOVE ALL THE OFFICERS are just standing there. They're just They're absolutely not doing anything and she's just losing her mind. >> [laughter] [laughter] >> No, but the law-abiding citizen. Okay. Come on, sit down. Turn around. >> Why? Otherwise, you'll push me down. >> Push you down? >> Oh, we'll just push you in, though. >> Yeah, it's fine. You're being arrested. >> I'll let go, but if you start playing around, I'm going to have to hold your arm again, okay? Okay, there you go. Now, keep up your end of it. Sit down. >> I want to go directly to the police station this time instead of sitting here in a secluded area where I asked to be taken to the police station over an hour ago. >> Just harassment, warning, resisting, obstructing without violence. Okay. >> All right, card number three did not get it done. So, she said for what and her friends asked for name and badge number, which they didn't get. But, uh that's it. That's all we got. So, card three didn't make it. If you were playing along and you used another card, maybe you got a bingo. I just didn't get one on card number three. But, no matter what, the best way to play along is to subscribe. So, check this out. Click here. It's free. You subscribe to the channel. We just hit 400,000 subscribers. I I would love to match the department I work for and get to a million subscribers. They've already hit that and I'd like to get there. So, if you can help me out, subscribe.
