Everybody say goodbye. No problem. >> What's that? >> A punch. >> No. >> Why are we speeding through the school? >> Trying to get the kids to school. >> If we could be everywhere, we would like this. All right. Little laser >> the same. No matter where you don't, >> right? >> Jacksonville in the house. I come from an agency that's great at social media. There aren't very many other agencies that are doing it right. Jacksonville is one of them. So, get on there. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Um, they're they're doing it right. Their stuff is entertaining. It's it's done correctly and you're going to love it. So, check them out on all the platforms that they're on and they're they're doing good stuff like we're doing good stuff. >> First up, coming. That's a school over there where they just run right through it. So this guy in front of us >> 29. >> Get it. How fast. >> Take 29 and a 15. Got some big ultimate energy going on. Big ultimate energy is a thing. And apparently it's by coastal because out here on the west coast and you see this stop right here. Big ultimate energy flying through a school zone happens in Florida, too. >> Got it. >> Good morning. >> Morning. >> Officer Monroe, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. >> Is that a school zone? >> It's a school zone. >> Kids, too. >> It's a school zone. >> Sorry. >> I'm so sorry. >> So, when's the last time you had a speeding ticket? >> Um, it's been a long time. >> Good. eligible for driving school. >> I'm so sorry. >> Yes. >> Good morning. >> Okay. All right. >> Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in the house. >> So, you you say it's been a long time. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You have your registration and insurance? >> I do. >> If you would give it to this officer when you get it. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I like it. So, it doesn't appear that uh he has ever had a speeding ticket in our system. So, this morning, let's see. I'm going to give him a warning because he's never had it. >> You are nice. I love discretion. Um, I use it all the time and I really like this officer's use of, hey, I'm going to check a driving record, see if you've been contacted, if you've got tickets before, what your driving history is. More likely to give a warning for someone that's never had a traffic ticket than someone that's had eight tickets in the last 5 years. So, I like that she shares my philosophy in, hey, if you're doing good, we're going to try to keep you doing good, and if you're messing up, then we're going to document you messing up again. So, I like it. Give him grace this morning. >> Yo. Hey, stop him. Stop him. And he got his phone in his hand. >> Now, that's what I love. Doing one traffic stop while on another traffic stop. Nice. I love it, >> buddy. >> Got him. >> That's what I like to see. >> All right, dude. On a scooter. >> Guy sounds like George Jetson. query of his tag and all of the information and his insurance is canceled. >> Oh, I like it. >> All right. One UTC insurance. All right. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Registration. Here you go. >> Thank you. driver's license. I'm going to I don't see where you had any tickets, right? So, today I'm going to give you a warning, okay? But that doesn't mean you go out and speed, okay? It means that you pay attention, okay? >> She's super nice. I like her. >> And my my insurance I pay daily and God honest truth, I just laugh and I'll get it renewed today. >> Okay. So, this is a citation for the insurance, but I kind of call it a compliance citation. >> So, what I need you to do is >> is a possibility that it could be dismissed. >> Okay. >> Possibly. Okay. >> Same thing with us. >> Mhm. >> Then go ahead. >> Okay. >> All right. Do that within 30 days. Okay. >> Do I need to sign it? This is mine. >> That's yours. >> Thank you so much, Officer Monro. >> All right. No problem. And here you go. >> Sign it. >> Nope. That's your warning. Okay. Okay. >> All right. Thank you. >> So, you promise. Okay. Cuz it's something like a pinky swear in the system. >> I was actually doing community service at um the waste management. I'm going to go get something to drink actually out there. >> Nah, just slow down. Okay. Have a good day. >> Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day. >> All right. You too. >> No problem. >> Listen. What's up? >> Not much. >> Yeah. I have a traffic complaint over here now >> for this actual school zone. The public information office there at Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has to be doing something right because normally cops don't like cameras. So like when I have a cameraman with me, other deputies are running away. Here they have a pow-wow on the side of the road where other officers are showing up just to hang out with her. So they have to be doing something right where their officers are comfortable in front of their camera. So just another accolade and uh proof that they're doing things right. >> So this is where I'd be this morning. Okay, I'm be I was on the way up here. I was on King's Road. Flew over there. >> I know. When I saw it was blue, so I said I knew you was going to come over. >> No, I'm coming. >> That's how I feel when I'm backing up. That's how I sound. >> Come on, girl. That's awesome. I love it. >> I like her running it on foot. >> 29. >> Got him. She's very sneaky. I like it. >> Let me call them. >> See, there goes some little kids right here. >> Hello, children. That little boy. All right. Good morning. >> Brings the laser up. >> Stop you. >> So, I would be willing to bet that Officer Monroe does not have 2 years on the road. Um, just I can just tell by the way she talks to people. She's super comfortable in her position. Um, does the old school tap the tail light thing, put your fingerprints on a car. Um, that's a very old school thing. I did it for years and years and years. I kind of broke myself of the habit. Um, but it's a thing that is ingrained in you as a uh as a young officer. And I bet that uh I bet she's got some years on because she's doing this job really really well. >> I like it. >> 5 miles over. >> 5 miles over. >> Okay. 5 miles. >> Okay. Wait, wait, wait. >> Slowing me down. I slowed down. >> The lady was telling you to slow down, right? >> It was at the >> the light before. >> You know why he was telling you to slow down? Cuz you were going too fast. Do you know what the speed limit is in the school zone? >> Not over here. I'm not around. I'm not from around here. >> Okay. But it's a big sign up with a flashing lights that tell you what the speed limit is in a school zone. It's 15. Where you going? 15. >> Same here. >> When I seen you back there started coming down, I was maybe doing five miles. >> What is five? Five miles over what? >> The 15. >> Okay. So, you were going 20? >> Yeah. You sure? >> Mhm. >> You sure about that? >> Okay. Okay. All right. Driver's license, registration, and insurance, please. When's the last time that you received a >> ticket? >> Yeah. >> Been a long time cuz I drive trucks. So, it's been over 10 years. >> Killing me. Killing me, bro. Killing me. I like the way she talks to people. >> When you drive trucks, >> we can be friends that on too >> cuz you ain't have it on today. >> Has a CDL. He said that he was going 5 miles over, but he really doesn't know what the speed limit is in a school zone because he's not from around here. >> School zones are 15 here also >> and we're across the country. >> 15 registration. He has a toll violation. Stop issue. See? Okay. I'mma tell him that. >> Yeah. They about to stop his uh registration cuz he has a toll violation. >> Can mess around with those toll roads in Florida. >> You got all the information for me? Perfect. >> I got the insurance, but it's a picture. That's that's that's even better. >> Yeah, we'll take a picture here. >> So, I guess you got some tolls. You better go and take care of them because they're going to stop the registration on your car. So, I'm just Yeah. >> Oh, >> okay. You got some toll violations. >> 14 miles over the speed limit. >> Good stop in the school zone. Should >> be $34. Got them. I did six over. It's $154. All right. You have 30 days to take care of it. This one is for seat belt. >> You can pay the civil penalty. >> Love the use of discretion. >> No point. >> Okay. Have any questions for me? >> All right. Slow down for me. >> No. Not >> 24. Hey, >> go ahead and pull over. >> Now that's how you do a traffic stop. You yell at him. >> What did she say? >> I'm sorry. >> I love it. >> I told her go ahead and pull over. >> And she on the sidewalk. >> That's over. I love that officer Monroe is out of her car running LAR. I do that occasionally. Um it helps hide my car, especially in somewhere where it's real conspicuous. Um I love that she's out doing it on foot. And I love as this car goes by, she just yells at them to pull over and then they do. Like I love it. I just I mean she has absolute she has a great command presence. She got that voice like, "Hey, pull over." That car was like I love it. I just just makes me happy. She's on the sidewalk. >> Good morning, Officer Monroe. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. >> Why are we speeding through the school? >> Trying to get the kids to school. I got my sister kitty. >> Let me see. >> Mhm. >> Let me see them. Good morning. >> I got mine and my Good morning. >> She had a whole car load of kids speeding in a school zone. I was 0% surprised when Officer Monroe walks up to this car and she's like, I got to get my kids to school. They're their kids are in the back. Like, it is a parent speeding in a school zone taking their kids to school. I It happens all the time when you're running speed enforcement in school zones. Parents are running late, poor time management, kids are being hon whatever it is. They're late trying to get their kids to school and then they meet a deputy in a school zone running speed enforcement. Then they get pulled over. Kids are still late. Day just goes terribly. >> Okay. All right. So speed limit is 15. You realize how fast you was going? >> I soon as I saw you, I'm going 20 25. >> Yeah. Yeah, that was close. The honesty means everything to me. All right. When's the last time that you had a speeding ticket? >> It's been a while. >> It has. Okay. Have a driver's license, the registration, and proof of insurance. Okay, perfect. Miss >> Okay, perfect. I'm going to get my insurance. >> I'll look at the insurance and the come back so that I can get you out of here. Okay, y'all good? >> Okay. So, you know I love the kids. I'm glad to see all of them were in seat belts. That's a good thing. >> All of all three of them seat belts. All right, let's see. Miss her driver's license are valid. She was scoring 24 and a 15. Let's see. Valid. I like to see that she has no tickets, no nothing. >> Nice. >> Ever. Like she looks like she never even had any. >> You going to break that streak? >> Police. >> You give her a warning. What are you going to do? which is good. >> Good. >> Hopefully this was a positive interaction. >> Probably going to be >> I'm going to have to tell you that I looked and it made me proud that you don't have no tickets in the system. That is awesome. So today I'm going to give you a warning. All right. >> Thank God. I'm no real. >> Okay. >> I don't know how to pull it up. It only let me make my payment. Show how to make >> Okay. So, I'm supposed to issue I normally it's your citation for that. >> No, I can sign in. >> Well, sign in. >> Go ahead. >> But I have my paperwork. >> Okay, here you go. It's the warning registration. Just make sure you get a card or have the, you know, it on your phone so that you can show so that you don't get that citation. Other than that, I appreciate the kids being belted in. I appreciate everything that makes life really real, real real smooth. Okay, just slow down for me. All right, >> I need to >> Nothing Warning. Okay, >> don't make me look bad. >> I won't. I won't. >> All right, y'all. Have a good day in school. All right. All right. You're free to leave. >> Got to give props to my people over at JSO.
