Ma'am, come on. You're stabbed in the head. >> First of all, then I have some >> I don't care if you've been drinking. >> I didn't do anything. >> I love listen. >> After committing a crime, some homicide suspects usually like to think that they've cleaned up their mess, sealed every, and buried every secret behind closed doors. But what happens when the police show up at the door? >> Come here. >> I'm going to go get him. the knife. >> Cut it out. >> Here are several instances when cops have surprised in their house. The first case begins with Nicholas, a ruthless man who's objected his roommate to unimaginable suffering. I thought he could walk out without consequences. >> We found a bag in the bathtub upstairs with bloody I'm not sure something. I'm not so sure uh going in right now would be a good idea. Actually, I'm not a bad guy. I'm actually a good guy. >> On May the 2nd, 2022, the authorities conducted a welfare check on a man named Richard at his residence after 24 hours of unexplained absence. Upon arrival, officers met Richard's family and began to question his sister to get to the bottom of the situation. But nothing could have prepared them for the horror that they were about to encounter. >> Yeah, that's my assumption. Got the whole family here, huh? >> Yeah. Uh, brother-in-law, mother, sister. >> Yeah, his sister. >> So, are you going to go and see? >> Well, no, we have >> No, you guys are going to go in. >> He just has to stay. >> They don't want to hang out here with the offic. >> So, what's what's what's the story besides what I got was you guys are have, you know, don't like the roommate or there's some problems with the roommates. He has mental health issues and you haven't heard from your brother in a day. Um, last last I heard from him was last night and the only reason that's a concern is because his roommate is currently mentally unstable and brought an unregistered firearm with him a few days ago. >> Okay. >> Um, and I they had some kind of conflicts over the weekend because he was trying to get him to move out. >> And then he from him since last night. >> And no call, no show to work. >> Cool. Um, so you got the key? >> What's her name? The officers then spoke to the victim's roommate, Nicholas, whose odd behavior was beginning to raise suspicions. >> Uh, no, I haven't really seen him lately. He said he was going to be doing some camping and stuff, and he just wants to get away for a while. So, yeah. Oh, >> that's super weird. You told me he was going to be home today. Um, he might be sleeping. You mind if I check his bedroom? >> Actually, if you want to check his bedroom, I suppose you should. You could, but >> Yeah, he would be sleeping, you know. Yeah. So, please um come on in. Great. >> I was really hoping to uh get some sleep just now, but that is not what's going on. So, >> all right. We'll be out of your hair shortly. >> Oh, >> appreciate it, man. Yeah. This is all their family. They're just worried about them. >> Yeah. >> Do you want to come out? I'll give you the details. >> Actually, that's probably okay. I could probably >> This is probably not a good idea. >> Well, they're going to go check his room. It's all good. Yeah, that's what I was trying to >> I appreciate it. Yeah. >> Not do I think maybe we if we could just come outside and talk for a minute here. I would appreciate that if we could just do that. >> Do you guys happen to have a smoke on you? Cuz I haven't had a cigarette. >> I can go check my car. But >> I appreciate that. >> Yeah. Come on here. I'll check my Come over here. >> It's okay. I'm right here. >> Well, just let him go check the room so we can we can get out of your hair. >> I was really trying to uh talk with everybody out here for a second. the one girl girlfriend um >> K. >> Yeah, Kane Marie. Yeah. So, um Kay called and she says Richie is not here. I says, "Oh, well, he actually did mention that he wanted to do some camping or something without her cell phone and stuff." So, he just left like two nights ago and I'm not sure he's even where he is. So, uh, did you say you had a cigarette, though? >> I might have a cigarette, but I got to go check my car. >> Okay. Please, please go check your car. >> Well, you can come with me cuz they're going to go inside and look for their brother, their family member. They have a key to get in. So, >> yeah. Yep. >> That's probably not the best idea. >> No, that's a good idea. >> The cat, too. >> Oh, yes. Actually, the cat does need her medication and stuff. Are you familiar with her medication? >> Rick, you me just leave it. >> Okay. Yeah, let's let's go ahead and do that real quick. Come on in. >> Huh? >> Okay. >> No, don't. >> Hey, sir. What's your name? >> Uh, Nicholas Van Clee. Yeah. Don't go in there. Uh, naturally not a good idea. Uh, don't go where? Nowhere. Nowhere. Uh, can we go ahead and Oh, yes. That's a Wow. >> Yeah. That's crazy. Hey, >> I think >> she's up. >> No, go up there. No, no. Uh, >> they're going to go check on on their family member. >> Oh, yeah. So, >> so we're here. Let's go get you see if we can find you a cigarette. >> Yeah, let's go get a smoke. But, uh, Joe, >> you and I are going to go get a smoke. Come on. Let's go, man. >> You actually I would actually like three smokes. >> Well, if I find some, I'll give you some. >> Yeah. I'm telling you right now. >> Come on, dude. Come on. Come on. >> Come on, bro. >> Yeah, let's go, man. >> After you. >> No, but listen. I'm trying to >> We're going to get a smoke. >> Well, no. >> I'm going to see if I got one. >> What? >> It's not a good idea. >> No, let's get some smokes, though. >> Well, you're not listening. She was hurt. >> Oh. Oh my god. Why is she going to hurt? >> I can't hear you. >> Why can't you tell me? >> Please stop. What's the What's going on, man? >> Uh I don't exactly know what's going on, but like um Did you say you had a smoke? >> I'm going to go look for one. Yeah. >> Oh, we swell. Uh I haven't had a smoke for >> Sometimes I have him in my in my you know my car >> days or so. >> Dang, it's a long time. >> It was. As the situation unfolded, a shocking discovery was made, triggering widespread panic. >> Well, let's let's go let's go check his car out, man. He said he might have one. >> I I know what you're having at home real quick. Let me let me sit down. >> Yeah, take a seat right there. >> I had a very long and >> Oh, man. There's We don't I don't have any. Sometimes I have them spares lying around in the side of the door, but they're >> You don't understand. >> You don't deserve a stone. >> No, I can say that. I just don't have one. >> No, I completely understand. Uh but I'm trying to I I really don't think it's a good idea or uh What am I talking about? They're going to do whatever they want because they're a family and so Yeah. >> Sir, we need you in here, please. Well, what's going on? >> Why don't you come out here and tell me? >> Why is he Wait, I didn't tell you. I'm not saying nothing. >> No, I'm talking to her. >> No, but it's it's not I was trying to find >> You found a bag in the bathtub upstairs with bloody I'm not sure something. >> Okay. Did you find your family member? No. >> Okay. All right. Okay. You say nothing. You go this way. >> 16. >> No. No. You go. >> I might need a second. Probably be super high. >> No. [Applause] >> No. >> Yeah. Go. Here. Go sit down. Go sit down. >> Hey, can you guys go pull the car up so that she can sit down? >> Do something. >> We are going to do something. And what I need you to do right now is I need you to go sit in your cover. All right. We're going to do something. Can I get another officer here besides uh supervisor sir? Can I get start your name, please? >> Oh, yes. My name is Nicholas. >> You went camping? >> Yes, sir. >> Did he go by himself? >> I suppose he went with help people. I don't know who he went. He just said he wanted to go camping. He's been known to go camping for a few days. He used to do that with his parents and stuff. I don't know. And you guys have been getting along. Any problems with the two of you? >> No, everything's fine. Yeah. He just went camping. >> And you said he was with a girl or something? >> I don't know. But he just left. >> He has a girlfriend. >> No. >> Oh, okay. >> All right. All right. So, where all do you guys go inside the house? >> Well, me and my mom went upstairs >> and she both in the bedroom. So, I checked all the other rooms. There's nothing in the other rooms. So, she went for his bathroom and then I followed her in there. >> Is there a bathroom, a common bathroom or is it just for him? >> Just for him. So, there is a common bathroom upstairs, but there's nothing in that one >> in in the master bathroom. >> In the master bathroom. That's his bedroom. >> Two white trash bags coated in what I would assume is blood. Heavier. Just picked up by the edge of this hand, but heavier than I'd say 25 lbs of sugar. And one of the bags had what I would uh >> Did you open them up? >> I tried to. There's like bags within bags. So I I just There was more red blood on those, but one of the bags was kind of protruding out or something ripped out, which I would assume as well. And then there's blood on living floor smeared dried like temp. >> And then did you guys go in the garage and look at his car? >> Car's there, but I didn't see it. >> You didn't go inside like look inside the garage? >> No, I didn't. The officer went on to properly question Nicholas, whose response raised more questions than answers. >> Nicholas, I got a question for you, man. So, they're they're obviously worried about their family member, right? Um, and when when they went up into his room, they're telling me that they found uh a couple of garbage bags that are really heavy that have blood on them. >> Yeah. I don't even know what that's about. I haven't seen them. >> Another question. Uh, you don't have a firearm or anything in the house, do you? >> I do. You do? Where is it? It's not or anything. >> Um, yeah. >> It's in your room. It's not loaded. Where is it in your room? On my bed. On your bed? >> Yeah. Like just sitting there? Yes, sir. >> Okay. You said it's not loaded. Where's Where's the ammunition? In the whatever the magazine maybe it's called. >> Yeah. Where's the magazine? In the gun? >> No. I think you know I think I carried it out. You know. You think you carried it? >> I think so. Yeah. But yeah, like I said, I don't I don't know. It's just insanity or something. I don't [ __ ] know. Just like the fifth. I don't I don't know anymore. Why you worried about cleaning the fifth? Like why why you bringing that up? >> I don't know exactly that works. >> How what works? Temporary insanity, I guess. >> Temporary insanity. Why you talking about temporary insanity? I don't know. >> Well, I'm just I'm asking you why you asked why you said those things. I have no idea. You don't know why you said >> I'm not sure. >> I believe the fifth and temporary insanity. >> I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. >> Okay. Do you have any uh You don't have your gun on you right now, do you? >> Absolutely not. >> I see your I see you have a knife in your pocket. >> Do I have a knife? >> Yeah, you have a knife. >> Oh, that's a carry knife. Oh, no. This is This is just one of those. >> For my safety, can I take that for you from the live knife? >> Yep. Yep. I don't >> You got anything in here either? What's What's all this that I keys? >> I don't think so. Do you mind if I look at just feeling the outside of this packet, too? Is that cool? >> Sure. >> That's just your wallet. >> That's my wallet. >> All right. Look, I'm just going to set this right over here. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> He came back and you found him where >> like you found him like that. What does that mean? They have no idea. Just I didn't even find him, you know. He was just He just came back and then he's here. Like I didn't find him any which way. It's okay. I guess I don't need to smoke anymore ever. Actually, I don't deserve to be able to smoke cigarettes. >> Like, why why don't you deserve to smoke a cigarette? >> Because I don't have the money for it. I don't have I can't afford them. So, why >> got to try to smoke them? You know, >> it would be You know what? I'm going to shut the up. >> Well, I mean, you're not under arrest or anything. We're just here to check on the roommate and they found some things that they that make them worry and because of that, now we're just going to go inside and check. That's it. So any information that you have to help you know >> Richie wasn't my good friend. >> He's still my good friend. Why? Why do you smoke? >> Oh my god. What's going on? Okay, listen. I wish. And it's okay. I don't I don't need a cigarette. >> I don't deserve I Well, I would like to smoke. That's not important. I think I'm just going to sit moving along so we can get out of your hair. Right. The family's obviously going gone upstairs to check on their loved one. >> Yeah. >> Right. and they found some stuff that made them a little >> afraid. >> Yeah. Like I said, I >> because because he isn't here and you live here, >> right? We want to ask you, right, if it's cool if we go inside and check on his things. >> I mean, >> I don't know. I I have not been up here. I have not been here lately. I've been out and about trying to do Door Dash and stuff like that, you know. >> But yeah, I I live here. Yeah. Y we want to go upstairs, right, and look in the master bedroom where it's uh your roommate's bedroom for him just to check on him and see what's in there. All right. >> Yeah, that's that's what Yeah, that I mean. Wait, you want to go upstairs and do what? >> Want to check make sure everybody's okay. >> Well, go by all means, like make sure everybody's okay. Yeah. I mean, >> officers spoke with a neighbor, seeking more details to finally solve the case. >> I just heard a lot of like movement. I thought something was happening over there. I was just like, "Okay, whatever." It sound like something was hitting the wall. >> What time was that? >> I want to say it was like probably midnight or like >> Yeah. >> Nicholas continued with his strange behavior, inadvertently revealing more about himself with each passing moment. >> We'll just have you sign something real quick. >> I'm not so sure. I'm not so sure. Uh going in right now would be a good idea, actually. >> What do you mean? >> Well, he's just uh let him let him stay. Um he's gone somewhere, is he not? I mean, >> I'm sorry. What? >> Is he he's gone somewhere, is he not? >> Your roommate? >> Yes. Just >> Well, I don't know where Where did he go? >> He went camping. >> How did he get there? >> I don't know. He's got some friends and stuff. Yeah, I last time I talked to him, but I mean I I I'm his friend, but I don't I don't His family said he talked to him last night and he wasn't camping. >> He wasn't camping. I have no idea. >> You're saying he went camping 2 days ago and took his phone >> a couple of days. Well, I don't He didn't tell them last night. >> He mentioned he wanted to not take his phone and stuff. >> Yeah, that's fine. But they talked to him last night. >> He talked to them last night. Who talked to him though? >> The family saying they talked to him last night at 7:00 p.m. >> I don't know. I don't have He didn't tell me about it. But >> Okay. >> Yeah. I think it would be best not to go and >> Oh, you don't want us to go in there? No, I don't think it would be a good idea. >> Is there a reason for that? >> I No, there's no reason. It's just I still got to probably go back to work and stuff. So, I didn't do nothing. I'm not under arrest or anything like that under arrest. >> Concerned with her family, which makes sense to me, too. >> Yeah. I mean, they're concerned that Hey, Dietri, >> he changed his mind. >> Yeah, they saw some stuff inside that's concerning. >> Okay. So, we want to go inside and make sure that everybody's okay. >> They saw some blood and stuff like that. So, they're concerned that their family member could be hurt. But, >> uh, what I'm what I'm thinking is, um, I'm not going to think of anything. Yeah. >> But you don't want us going in there? >> You're not going to give us consent? >> I don't think there's no reason to. >> All right. Hang tight. >> Wait. Uh, we're hanging tight. >> How long you been living here, Nick? >> Five. >> Five to six months or so. Not >> Oh, that's it. Where we at before? Were you still here in Federal Way or were you in a different city? Yeah, something. But I don't really recall where I was exactly. It was >> uh 702. >> You work at uh Jimmy John? >> Jimmy John? >> Yeah, JJ hat. I thought that was Jimmy. >> Oh, yeah. No, that that's just a show hat like Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm I do Door Dash like >> Okay. You like it? >> Do I like it? Good days and bad days. >> Yeah. It's like every job, man. But it's you that can determine if it is a good day. Don't let other people determine if it's going to be a bad day. >> Yes. And no. There's I think I want to get a coat. I'm going to go get a coat on. Is that Can I Can I do that? >> You're going to get a coat on? I prefer No. >> Why? Why? Why not? >> I don't want you to go back inside right now so we can figure out what's going on out. Might if I go in with you. >> Sure. Come on. >> Yeah. You can stand at the door. >> Where's the code at? >> FYI, his gun. >> Never mind. Don't go back in yet. >> I'm not. >> What? I can't walk in with you to get the coat, right? >> No, I think >> No, I was trying to. >> The reason why I don't want you inside right now is supposedly there's a gun inside. >> Yeah, it's upstairs, but it's fine. >> And we appreciate that that you're letting us know, but for everybody's safety 100% of the time, they we're going to just keep people in away from guns, right? Even if they're their own guns right now. So, we just want you to just That's one of the reasons why we're going to ask you to >> So, I should have Oh my goodness. So, >> he's not allowed in there. Uh, you're not allowed in there. All right. You know what? You know what? Never mind. I don't need it. I don't need it. I don't need it. I don't need it. I'll provide. >> While the investigation went on, the cops updated Richard's family to keep them informed and to address their concerns. >> We have some sort of suspicion of something going on. Okay. Now, because we didn't find or you guys didn't find, you know, a human being, um, and that removes kind of our authority to go in for a welfare check, right? If we if we if we if we the law says that if we have reason to believe that somebody's life is in imminent risk of you know or bodily harm that kind of stuff then we can go in right away and make sure that everybody is safe. Okay. Because that doesn't exist right now. What we're doing is we have to follow the law. All right. He's as you know he's said some some suspicious things too. >> I know you guys are already in the prosec I'll go back in. >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, at this time though, because you know, cuz >> keep the suspicion. >> Well, you know, our hope obviously is that >> everything is fine and who knows where that there is no crime really really well. >> That's our hope. But if in the event that that's not the case, we want to make sure that every any evidence that we collect, anything that we find out has was is done according to the law. >> She's his coworker and best friend. She's the one that originally called the first call and she was chatting with him last night. So information like Stop cabbing and stuff. >> Nicholas, on the other hand, tried to play games with the cops, but they were always one step ahead of him. >> Go get my utility knife, so I >> No, we're going to leave that right there. >> But it's my knife. >> Yeah, you'll get it back. You need to cut something right now cuz I don't There's nothing I don't think you have a need for it. You're not in any danger. You got three police officers protecting you. >> Wait a minute. I should go take a pee in my bathroom real quick. You guys mind if I >> No, you can't go back inside. >> But I'd like to go just pee. >> Well, you can't go pee inside. You just can't. We're not letting you back inside right now. >> So, I can pee out here. >> I'm not going to stop you. >> That's great. Um, but I can go back inside, but that's okay. I don't need to go back inside. Yeah, I'll just pee by the tree. >> Can't hold it. >> What? You want me to hold them? >> Huh? >> You want me to hold what? >> I mean, you can't hold it like a big boy. >> Oh, yeah. Right here. I go pee by the tree, right? You guys don't want me to go pee? I don't know. >> Well, I mean, we don't want you to pee out in public if you can hold it. But I understand it frustrates go inside your bathroom. >> I was just going to go pee right on the tree. That way it's out of the way and nobody's in looking, right? Isn't that how people can pee or? >> Yeah. And that's how people pee outside. >> Yeah, cuz that's what I have to do is pee outside. You're saying hold it. I don't know. I'm going to try to just pee real quick. fellas. He's going to take a pee real quick. He can't hold it. >> Yep. Yep. Y I don't quite understand fly. I don't quite know what they're doing, but wait a minute. >> Yeah, I can hold it. >> No, you could. >> Yep, I can hold it. >> Yep, you could. I don't understand what you guys >> We're trying to figure that out, too, my friend. Wait, not cuz you're you're a good guy. You're You've been talking to us. So, I appreciate that. >> You know what? I don't need to talk to you guys. I mean, I just I I do I haven't I haven't seen him at all lately, but I need to go home. Go ahead. What do you need to do? There's something going on. >> Nothing's going on, man. Nothing's going on. >> What are you guys doing? >> I'm good. You want us to both stand right here? >> Uh, absolutely not. I I liked you over on that side and maybe him just standing right there and then I was going to go pee right there and then I got to have peripheral vision over here on this one and then peripheral vision over there on that one. Who knows, you know? But, um, I'm going to sit down. >> Hey, so, uh, I don't know if they kind of told you what's going on right now. Uh, I got some detectives that want to come out and talk to you real quick. Right now, it sounds like we're probably going to get a search warrant for your residence. >> I don't think there we don't need a search warrant. Actually, I don't need a search warrant. Feel free. >> We We do, though. >> Why you Why would you need Oh, you Why would you need a search warrant? That That's just nice. >> No, like I said, we're concerned about the well-being of your room. >> The suspect's confidence in escaping justice shattered as the handcuffs snapped into place, bringing him back to reality. >> Hey, Nicholas. Uh, you are under arrest. Just stay seated. Okay. We're going to grab your hands and put them behind your back. I'd rather you I'd rather I'd rather >> Come on, man. >> I'm not trying to not Wait, time out. Time out. What is >> We're going to have you talk to our detectives. >> Why we Why do we have so many people around me? >> How many people we got here right now? So, we're going to take you back to our station, have you talk to detectives? We're going to advise you your rights real quick. Okay. Okay. I'm I can't move. >> I'm not really doing so good. Like >> uh Nicholas, you have the right to remain silent. Anything that you say can will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right at this time to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before questioning if you wish. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Uh do you understand each of these rights as I've explained them to you? Nicholas, you understand these rights if I explain them to you. >> All right, we're going to walk to a car over here, Nicholas. >> Upon entering the residence, officers found the remains of Richard scattered in different parts of the house alongside threatening weapons. In response to this, Nicholas's words tumbled out incoherently, seemingly disconnected from the horrific reality of his actions. All right, but here. Lean back so I can get this uh seat belt a little loose for you. Good. >> I would like these cuffs off. >> Yeah, we're going to get you just in just a little bit. We're going to walk inside. >> But like these cuffs are not beneficial for me. >> 1 2 3. Step aside right here so I can close the door. We're going to go right to that door right there. We'll get you in just a second. >> I don't know if I need you anymore. That's what you keep saying. >> Okay. How about this? A few minutes. Well, I would like to uh just get out of it now and then. But I I don't have a choice, do I? I'm trying to >> I wonder why though. I'm a good person. Why have I seen you before? I've seen you before and >> we you know, we've been hanging out and talking for like the last almost 2 hours if that's what you mean. Although your name does kind of ring a bell. >> I don't know what it's fine. I don't need to. I'm not playing. >> You look like I'm a bad guy. >> You need to stop. I'm not a bad guy. I'm actually >> Oh, yes. Please take these clubs off. >> Yeah, we're not going to do that. >> How am I supposed to sit down? >> We can't do this anymore. This has to stop. I cannot keep having this happen, especially out when I didn't do anything. Even though listening >> okay listening >> I'm listening you can do >> even I cannot get in with these handcuffs. Listening that way. >> You're not listening. >> Look that way. I'm going to put this in the front. >> Stop. You're not listening. >> I am listening. >> I did not do anything. >> But that remind me that I did something. >> Can you scoot back? >> No. How am I supposed No. These things are >> Okay. Look that way again. >> I can't listen. Listen. You're not Why are you not listening? I almost because you are not I'm not important anymore. I listen to you sir. >> Listen these these these cuffs on my fingers. I cannot get this supposed to be. >> Nicholas was eventually charged with first-degree homicide and his bail was set at $2 million. If you thought that Nicholas was despicable, then you need to meet Tiffany Lucas, a despicable mother who committed an unspeakable crime against her kids and for some reason thought she could get away with it. You know, I love my kids. >> I know you do. >> I would never do a present like this unless someone manipulated me. >> But physically, you're the one who pull the trigger. Even though that's not you and somebody else is pushing you to do that. >> On November the 8th, 2023, officers were dispatched to a residence after receiving a report of a woman who collapsed following a disturbing incident involving her kids. Immediately the cops arrived and they quickly got to work leaving no stone unturned. [Music] Is she conscious? >> Ma'am, what's your name? >> Huh? >> Tiffany. >> I can't hear you. >> Tiffany. >> Tiffany. >> Mhm. >> All right, Tiffany. I'm going to change these handcuffs out. Okay. And then I'm going to roll you over. I'm going to sit you up. All right. Now, I'm going to pick your hands up so you can take these off. Do not struggle. Do you understand me? You're going to sit up at the same time. You understand? One, two, three. Take this leg, fold it in. Make that foot touch your knee. No, to the side on the ground. Now, we're going to roll again this way and I'm going to assist you up on your feet. Okay, ready? 1 2 3 [Music] She's saying she ain't feeling right either. She's breathing. She's alert. >> No, leave it. >> It's somewhere in there, but they moved everything. EMS is fine. There's nobody else in the house. >> Okay. >> We did a clearing. Nobody in the basement. >> I got her in my car. She's handcuffed in my car. >> All right. Um, detectives are on the way. So, >> we still got to pat her down. She got on a dress. I don't think she has a weapon. When you get a second, we can get her back out and let you pat her down real quick. That's why she's locked in though. >> It seems in there, right? >> Yeah. Better. >> That woman's on the other side. Oh, you got her. >> Yeah, she's in my car. >> She wasn't injured. I didn't see any injuries on her. >> Looks like she peed herself. >> Yeah, she probably herself. I don't know why. >> I've been here before with CPS on an investigation over here with the kids and they wouldn't let them in. >> It's been about a year. But yeah, that's the only time I've ever had to come back here for anything other than paperwork, subpoenas, and stuff. [Music] All [Music] right, EMS, go check you out. All right, take this off of step out for me so I can check you out. >> You want to sit on the bed or what? >> Yeah. Very good. Which way you want to head? That way. Sit. Right there. Okay. >> They got some emotion going on with his wife being pregnant, too. >> You go ahead and come with me. >> Hop in this car. >> I'll put the AC on high for me. [Applause] >> We're still trying to find it. Upon arrival at the station, officers made sure to ask the right questions before diving into the investigation. But the suspect's behavior soon started to raise some red flags. >> You go stand here with him. I'm going to get my wand. >> Okay, I'm going to do that myself. You got a light. Will that light turn on? Okay, this is just a wand. Okay, it's just to to check you. You got anything on you? Nothing. >> I myself. >> Huh? >> Huh? >> I myself in the head. >> You what? >> In my ear. >> You yourself in the ear? >> What's here? [Music] >> I don't see anything. There's no >> there's nothing there. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Uh where you We're going to take her back to the interview room. I got to go in and turn it on. So we want her wait till I get there. That way we can we can view her and just keep an eye on her. Okay. Just have a seat. You're good. >> That neighborhood. >> Huh? >> It's that neighborhood. >> It's that neighborhood. Okay. Just hang on just a second. Okay. But I'm going to give her Miranda rights cuz she's she's made a statement about the neighborhood. I just don't want her to say her just just free speech and just openly let her talk. >> Okay. >> Which year did you supposedly do that? >> Right. Okay. >> I know. >> You know what? >> Okay. All right. >> Okay. All right. >> Good. And if you want to tell her a show nothing >> I'm not seeing nothing. That's supposedly the one she said. >> No he did. Didn't he? He said do you got earrings in? Didn't he? >> It's on camera. >> Well, let me see. Let me see. >> That don't have nothing to do with >> it means everything. You're up. >> You're sick. [Music] The suspect's actions took a strange turn, raising concerns about what might be going on. John, is >> it getting hot in there? You need a fan? >> No, we're good. You good? Are you hot? You need a fan? >> Is it warm or anything? >> Not warm. Okay. Can you stop? >> Can I stop? What? >> All that. >> What's that? >> What? Flexing my joints. >> Yeah, you keep showing me your fingers. I'm not showing you fingers. I'm sitting here all myself. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. Come on up. Sit up. Sit up. Sit up. Sit. Sit up. You all right? Sit up. Sit up. Sit up. What's going on? H >> What's going on? >> Sit up. Sit still. >> Take a deep breath. Just take a deep breath for me. In your nose and out your mouth. Do it again. Take deep breath for me. Do it again. Take some deep ones. You're okay. >> Okay. >> You good? All right. Take a deep breath. I don't want you to fall over again. Are you all right? >> Okay. [Applause] There'll be somebody in to talk to you in a few minutes. >> Stop. >> Move your fingers. >> That's >> I'm watching you on camera. Move your fingers. >> You're watching >> several times. Yeah. >> Move my fingers. How? >> Every time. Go. You keep moving them. Stop. >> That's me. >> No, you're doing it. Move. Move. Move. Move. Move. Move. Move. Boo. Don't do that. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, you are. I'm watching. >> So, what is that doing for you? >> It's not right. Stop. >> What's not right? >> You >> How is it not right? >> Look, I can't. It's our camera. >> Where's the camera? I'm wearing a camera. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't sit still. >> Yeah. Every time a noise is in the background, your fingers are moving. >> I move. That's what I do. I don't sit still. >> To every sound you move. >> Mhm. To every sound >> you move >> to every footstep that you hear. >> Mhm. >> You move your fingers. >> I'm not an idol person. I don't move around. >> So you walk to other people's footsteps then cuz that's what you're doing. >> Mhm. >> You're walking to everyone else's. How do you know that? >> How do I know what >> other people's steps? >> Cuz I hear them out there. >> So you mark them. >> So I can mark them. >> You mark all your steps >> as far as Explain. >> Look. Every word you make, you move a finger. >> Mhm. >> Is that how you're supposed to be? >> That's how I am. >> She claims I move. >> I told her I don't I'm not a person that sits still. I move constantly. >> Yeah. I'm I've got that jittery little. >> See, soon as you walked in. >> Why is it doing that? >> My phone. >> As soon as you walk in the door. >> That's weird, right? It's >> weird. >> It's weird. Soon as people walk, sounds. That's not right. >> No. Let me show this. >> See? Huh? >> Let me show it to this. >> It's not right. >> See? >> Not for right now. >> Every time I say something, your phone's going off. >> The officers began to question the suspect whose story was hard to follow, raising more questions than answers. >> I'm going to talk to you today about what happened earlier. Okay. But can can you um can you tell me a little bit about yourself? I mean, where are you from or where you grew up or anything like that? >> I know I look crazy, but I'm not. >> Huh? >> If I know I look crazy, but I'm not crazy. >> I don't think you look crazy. I'm just trying to, you know, I would, if I'm going to talk to someone, I'd rather know who they are. You know, I can tell you a little bit about me. >> I love my children. >> You tell me a little bit about you. Okay. >> I love my children. I love my boys so much. >> Oh, I know. I wouldn't hurt them, but I just feel like I I I didn't I felt back and I I didn't I was letting them play the video games and I wasn't like focusing how I was supposed to, you know, and they get that video games and the YouTube and the kids, it just messes their minds up to where people can manipulate their parents or do whatever they want. And I feel like someone put something upon my house or me or something like I just don't feel right. I've not like it's been I don't do this. I love my hair. >> Are you from Louisville area? >> No. >> Where are you from? >> I'm from Chicago area. >> Oh, really? How long you been here? >> Wait 11 years. >> Okay. >> How did you end up coming to Louisville? >> I just came. >> I'm sorry. >> I just came. >> I just decided to move. I'm going to let you know what your rights are. Okay? Now, you probably watch TV before, movies and TV shows, and they read on the rights. It's called Miranda. Okay? [Music] It's called Miranda warnings. You may remain silent. Anything you do say may be used against you in court or or other proceedings. Can I ask you a question? Do you understand what I read to you? Yes or no, Tiffany? >> Do you understand what I read to you right here? Checking your head. Yes. >> Yes. >> Yes. Okay. >> Hm. >> What is that? >> What that? What do you mean? The stuff I have here, that's my phone, pens, notebooks. Earlier you said something about PlayStation games or something. >> Yeah. >> What about it? >> I just feel like those games manipulate the children, you know, the YouTube and just Haven't you ever heard anything like that before? >> I mean, yeah. >> Like I really feel like it is manipulating for the children and they get into the children's homes and, you know, break the families up. That's what I feel. I mean, you could be right. >> I am right. Yeah. >> And I know I'm right. And you do, too. >> Yeah. >> You do. >> I mean, >> you just know >> the stuff that's on the internet that you have access to now is terrible. >> It's terrible for the kids and they need to stop like my kids are beautiful angels, you know? >> Well, you said something about the PlayStation and YouTube and all that, which makes sense and understand. I mean, how I feel like someone tried to manipulate me through my phone, you know, manipulate me through my house, doing stuff to me. >> What are they doing to you? >> Manipulating my mind. Parker Borders. >> H >> his name is Parker Borders. >> What about him? >> Um, he lives in Bardstown. And I'm pretty sure he's been manipulating my mind for like 3 years. >> Really? through my phone, putting up things in my house, like real evil, dark, weird stuff like trying to >> like trying to get you to do things. >> Yeah. Like alter my mind like completely like flip me like I'm a woman of God. I don't do >> Yeah. >> Don't you don't hit hurt your children. You protect them. And I feel like I have to protect my children, >> right? How do you pro protect them from a problematic service in the system? How do you how do you really serve? >> The suspect tried to manipulate the situation, busting out desperate moves to gain sympathy. >> Money is everything. It's not I'll lose it all. I don't care >> for my kids. I don't care. I just don't I You just You just don't do that. I'm very certain. Don't look my kids in the eye like, you know, I love my kids. >> I know you do. I would never do something like this unless someone manipulated me. >> Did he actually tell you in person or is it? >> No, but he controls my phone. All my bills are in his name. Like he has too much access to me, you know, so I feel like he manipulated my mind, you know. >> Mhm. >> I would never hurt my children. >> Who is this Parker guy to you? Just a friend or >> like a sugar daddy type thing? Okay. feel like it was portrayed off of revenge or something like that. >> Right. >> Before I had a friend who was with him and she mysteriously passed away in a car wreck and then now in my house you'll see there's like things like my car is going to get blown up. All these weird little like how stuff is all set up funny, you know, in my house like that. >> So I just feel uncomfortable. I don't know. I feel like he I feel like it's him. It's not me. It's not me. I'm right with God. So, I know it's not me. I know it's not in my mind. >> Yeah. >> It's not me. >> It just isn't. >> Provide you with a with a firearm with a gun. >> Yes. It was his. >> So, that gun that was I guess in the house in the bedroom or whatever. That's his gun. >> Yes. >> Why did he give it to you? >> I don't know. >> How long ago did he give it to you? You remember? like years, months, days when >> I don't know. >> Don't remember. >> It's been a while. >> Been a while. What do you uh what do you remember him telling you in your mind to do or persuading you to do? >> I don't I just don't know. He just, you know, it's happened once before. Like I got like a weird feeling like you're just felt weird. And then here recently, it just felt weird. I'm not like I'm a good mom. Like I'm a really good woman. I'm a good I'm a mother, you know. >> Mhm. >> Have veneers and everything. >> I'm sorry. >> I said I have veneers and everything. I don't look like this. >> Okay. Do you remember um hurting your sons today? >> I mean, you you remember, but I'm not saying it's you. >> It's not me. >> It's not you. >> It's not. I know it's not me. I would never hurt my children, >> right? He's influencing you, >> manipulating. >> Manipulating is the best word >> through the phones, Wi-Fi, all of that. >> Now, once he manipulated you and pushed you into doing this, what do you remember firing a weapon at them today? I mean, you remember that, right? No. To knock on the neighbor's door to get help, right? Okay. And I guess you've spoke to those people before. You kind of know them. Kind of maybe not real good, but you spoke to them, right? Okay. What was you when you went over there, what were you going over there for? Just to ask for help? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, I'm guessing since you were going over there to ask for help, you had saw that your sons had been injured, right? Were bleeding. You saw that, right? But physically, you're the one who pulled the trigger. Even though it's not you and somebody else is pushing you to do that or manipulating you to do that, you pull the trigger on the weapon. Is that correct? >> It's not correct. How did your sons get shot? >> I just don't know. >> You don't know? I have no words. >> How long after your boys were got hurt, how long did was it did you immediately go next door to ask for help or did you wait for a while or what? Suddenly, there was a shift in the suspect's demeanor, making her difficult to communicate with. Little did she know that she was just tightening the noose around her own neck. But do you think it was an accident today or did you mean to? Cuz if you think about it really there would only if you think about it there would only be I guess two ways of thinking on something like that that it's an accident. You didn't want to hurt him. You didn't mean to hurt him or you're the bad mom who wants to hurt him. Do you Let me ask you this. Do you think talking will help instead of holding it in? I mean, what do you think? How's your feelings on that? Some people say, you know, talk it out. It helps. >> I've told you everything. >> How many I need to ask you. I hate to ask you this because it's, you know, it hurts, but how many times did you each one of them? Multiple times, one time, two times, what? [Music] >> I mean, I'm sorry I have to ask you that. I really am, but I got I mean, I had to. I got to. Sorry. >> I have no words. >> Hm. I have no words. >> You don't know how many times you So I guess you did. You just keep pulling the trigger until it was empty or what? >> No. I just don't have anything to say right now. >> Did you Did you leave it in the bedroom? If you left it there, then we'll find it. If you threw it in the woods somewhere, some kid's going to find it. That's what we're concerned about. Did you leave it in the bedroom? Yes. Okay. >> How many times did you pull the trigger today? >> I didn't. I don't want to talk anymore. I don't have nothing else to say. >> Okay. >> Just make sure you make sure you breathe. Crying is okay. But [Music] >> you want to talk about something? >> No. >> Okay. Did anybody spend the night with you and your kids last night? >> Huh? [Music] Did somebody spend the night with you and your kids last night? >> Yes or no? Hey, I know you can hear me. Yes or no? >> I'm not sure. I I don't know. Well, I feel like he's been living in the house with me. I don't know. It's been so weird. >> Yeah, >> I'm trying to like get him out of there. I don't know what is going on. >> Was anybody Let's put it this way. Was anybody else in the house today other than you and your kids? Huh? >> I don't entirely know. >> You don't know? >> I don't entirely know. >> You don't know if he was in the house today? >> No. I feel like he's been playing with my mind like coming and going like >> Well, that's fine. But did you actually see him? Did he show up today into your house? >> Huh? Yes or no? >> No. >> Huh? Yes or no? No. >> No. >> Okay. There's anybody else in your house today other than you or your kids? >> No. Do you need anything? You got water seal. Everything's You need anything else? >> Do you? >> Hm. >> Do you? >> No, not really. I mean, >> all right. >> If you want to talk, I'm more willing to sit here and talk to you. >> Don't you I mean, don't you trust me enough where I mean, we've gotten along pretty good today. Don't you trust me enough that you can talk, open up? That's all I can say. I don't know what you >> No, I'm I was just asking you what's on your mind. That's all. >> What is on my mind? >> At this point, she had started to realize that she was not walking out of this situation unscathed. But she still had one trick up her sleeve. She was a mother after all, and it would be difficult for her mother to do such awful things to her own children. All she had to do was convince the detectives in the most emotional way possible. [Music] [Applause] Just lay your head back down. Be still. Okay. just about this is [Music] [Music] what you Tiffany Lucas was eventually charged with two counts of homicide and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Moving on to Nicholas Porter, a cruel man who severely injured his mother and thought he could lie his way out of it, only to face a punishment he never anticipated. >> I didn't do anything to her. I promise you, she's drunk. She's been drunk all day. You can ask my aunt. You can ask my dad. >> Why you running from us? >> She fell into a dog dish when she was drunk and I helped her up and then and then she got on the phone with the police when I walked into her room. >> You called 911 and said that you >> No, because when stabbed her she fell onto the dog bowl. sir when she was drunk. >> On December the 8th, 2021, officers responded to a residence after receiving a report of a domestic dispute involving a son allegedly his mother. Upon arrival, they were met with the victim whose response flipped everything upside down. They told him police. They told him police. They told him police. Show me your hands. >> Come here. >> His bedroom is right there. >> Okay. Right ahead of us. Who's in here? >> I don't. Where are you now? >> Where are you, ma'am? >> It's all good. >> Where are you? >> All good. >> It's not all good. Walk out here now. >> Come out to us. >> I will. >> Is he in there? >> It's only my son. >> I know. Where is he? You remember me? >> Yes. >> Where is he? >> He's in the back of the >> Who else is in the house? >> Just me and him. >> All right. Walk out here >> and the dogs. >> Walk out here. Come to the road. Why do you do this? >> You know, I don't know. >> Is it because of the video games again? >> No. It's just because you know what? When >> Ma'am, come on. You're stabbed in the head. First of all, that I have been drinking a month. >> I don't care if you've been drinking. >> Oh, you know what? >> No, this isn't funny. The last time I was here, we were doing this. >> Come on. Where's your husband? >> My husband's at work. >> Okay, we'll call him. >> Are you still able to walk over here? >> I'm fine. >> You're not fine, man. This isn't You're not fine. >> I know. I know. Ma'am, are there any are there any guns in the house? >> Trust me. No, that's what I'm saying. >> Okay, go with them, please. >> Please don't hold. >> Nicholas, >> the cops moved in on the suspect, and the events that followed were anything but calm. >> Come to the front door with your hands up. >> Running out the back. Running out the back. >> Show me your hands. >> Show me your hands now. Yes, sir. >> I didn't do anything to her. I promise you she's drunk. She's been drunk all day. You can ask my aunt. You can ask my dad. >> And why you running from us? She didn't do nothing. Why you running? >> Slow down. >> I got it. >> Listen to me. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say, maybe use evidence against you. You have the right to talk to an attorney. right in mind or you went to talk to us? >> Yes, sir. >> No, sir. Okay. >> All I No, I said yes sir. >> Yes, sir. >> All I have to say is she was drunk and she fell and she drunk all day and I helped her and then she got up and blamed it on me. >> And you can ask my all you can ask my dad. She's been antagonizing me all day, but I haven't done anything. >> Nicholas, who else is in the house? Anybody? >> Clear. We still got to clear the house. >> Yeah. Yeah. All right. No, >> I'm I'm sorry I ran off this, but honestly, I did not do anything to her. I'll do it. I I promise. >> She's drunk. If I can talk to her, she No, I didn't. I I would never I would never do anything to her. >> She's been drunk all day. Everybody's been yelling at her. She's been going crazy all day. >> Nicholas clung to his denial like it could fix everything. But his delusional attempts at victim blaming were nothing but baseless attempts at covering his despicable act against his own mother. >> You already been read Miranda? >> Yeah, sir. >> All right. Good job, guys. >> As far as this >> you all right, man? >> You ain't hurt or anything? >> Dude, I did I didn't even do anything to her, bro. She fell. She And then I helped her get up and she called the police on me, bro. >> All right, take a deep breath. All right, man. I need to talk to her because she >> she knows I wouldn't never touch her or anything. >> All right, man. Just hang tight. >> Top of my eyelid. Want to flash her real quick? >> Officer, she knows I would never touch her. She's drunk. She's been drunk all day. My my dad, my brother, uh my aunt has has all been on her case all day because she's been she's been because I she she called the police. >> Smell like you've been drinking, too? >> I I had literally one beer, sir. I'm I'm not drunk. She's been drinking all day. But but listen, officer, because because I she she fell into a dog dish when she was drunk and I helped her up and then and then she got on the phone with the police when I walked into her room. So I already knew you guys were on her on my way and I I knew I couldn't say anything about it. I mean, but if she if she would talk to me, she knows I would never touch her. She's confused. She's honestly confused, you guys. >> Search him really well, dude. >> Not that I don't believe you, man. steady. >> You got anything that's going to poke and stick him? >> No, she's just confused. You guys, >> I'm asking you a question. Do you have anything that's going to poke him, stick him? >> No, sir. I have nothing. >> But she fell when she was asking me right now. >> I promise you. I She She knows she's been falling all day. Like, she just wanted to call the police on me guys. >> All right, man. Walk up to the edge of the car. Spread your feet. >> Okay. >> And back to Vat. She's so confused, you guys. She fell. >> Dude, we're going to get this whole thing figured out for right now. This is what we're doing. All right, man. >> Officers, I promise you the only reason why I was running because I knew she already called the police and she said that I did something to I was trying to explain it to her. That's why I was crying when I was on the phone because I was right there when she was on the phone. I was crying because I don't know why she's doing this. She knows that I would not ever touch her and she knows I didn't. Following some careful persuasion, the victim disclosed the shocking harm caused by her son despite her emotional turmoil. >> Hey. >> Yes. >> You got to help us. What really happened? Because >> I'm just telling you he's my son before. I know. And we know how he is. >> Okay. Well, I don't know. >> But you guys you got to be honest with me because >> I know I what you're saying isn't what that tells me inside. >> Okay. So, listen. He didn't beat me up. >> Okay, >> I'll tell you that. >> Okay, he didn't beat you up. >> He just pushed me and shoved me out of his face. >> Okay. And then what? >> And then I hit the corner of the bar. >> I did have a couple of blasts of one. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, I'm not going to sit there. >> So, there should be there should be nothing broken on the floor. >> No. >> Nothing at all. >> No. Are you sure? I mean, go look. >> Go look. >> That's why I'm still talking to you and asking you. So there's because he has issues. >> I know he does, but you can't protect him for everything because you know because I'm I'm gonna call you I'm gonna call his dad and you know dad >> he doesn't hit me. He doesn't hurt me. He doesn't hurt >> I didn't say he physically hit you but he hit you in the head with something and I need you to tell me what happened. >> No, he didn't. If he did I would tell you. I swear to God. >> So the broken dog >> when I fell down I hit the corner of the bar and you said >> where was the bar? Where's the bar at? >> Can you talk to him? >> Where's the bar at? Where in the house? >> The whole corner of the kitchen. >> On the kitchen. >> Yeah. >> When I first walk in or towards your your bedroom? >> Um the whole kitchen. We were sitting right there. The kitchen. >> Mhm. >> And then I just hit it. He's not beating me out. He's not hurting me. >> So why did you tell me when you first saw me that he hit me? But be good to him. Because you know what? What would you do it if it was? >> But how many how many exactly how many times you want to protect him? >> Well, what do I do with this guy? You know, >> huh? >> He's 24 years old. Didn't hit me in the head. You really didn't because when it was happening, he was like, >> you want Can we take your Can we take photo? >> What would you do? >> Well, he's 24 years old. Do you mind? >> Yeah. be a present from him. >> Oh, okay. >> You guys can say all you want to say because I've been trying for years. >> I know you have. You freaking >> But he's 24 years old. >> Don't say the >> He's 24 years old. >> Don't say that you when I >> We're not going to wait for that. Don't give me kids. >> Huh? >> Do you have children? >> Okay. So, what would you do? >> Any different. >> They're boys, so they're going to man up for what they >> know. And they're still doing it now. >> You can't say that. >> And you know, you only disrespect. I know >> Nicholas maintained a facade of innocence. Probably thinking that if he kept up the act long enough, the cops would buy it. >> Everybody's told her today she's in a real bad phase. And everybody told her today, "We need to get you help right now because she's a very bad alcoholic, you guys." And I promise you, even if I would have done something to her, she probably wouldn't remember anyway. >> I don't know why. I don't know why she's saying that I did something. What is What are they talking about? A knife. >> Slide all the way in. Appreciate you. >> Can you just keep the door open, sir? >> I'm just untighten the right cup a little bit. >> What's your last name? >> Uh, Nicholas Porter. Spell Nicholas and I see H O L. >> Guys, could you please just unc up a little bit, please? First, please. >> Let me get your name from you first. >> Really bad. >> Let me get your name from me first. >> Jacket. I can't, dude. I literally can't. Please. >> Let me get your name from you first. >> You said please a lot. You could have given me your name by now. >> Nicholas Porter. >> N I C H O L A S. >> Yes, sir. >> Did he Where did he come out of? was in the back, man. I don't know. You come out here in the kitchen, >> huh? >> He's in the kitchen. >> He was. >> No. Was it like the blood? >> Yeah, all the blood was in the kitchen. >> There's only one door besides another garage and me and Mafia was watching the door and then all of a sudden >> So, apparently he was behind the trailer in the backyard the whole time. >> Okay. >> Then he just got up and jumped the fence >> and I was helping her and she knew that was what happened and then she lashed out and for some reason called the police. That's the only reason why I hit and I ran for you guys because I I know that like if she calls the police and says something like that, then that's not what happened there. Okay. But >> what is what do you think she told us? >> I have no clue. I She No. Um I was there. I I heard a little bit of when she was on the phones. She said that I did something. I I have no clue what she said. No. >> Do you know how she got? >> She she fell into the dog bowl because she's a she's a alcoholic. She has been for my whole life and for 30 freaking years plus and it's always been a very big problem. And today was one of the worst days that she's ever had. And it's documented with my dad and my aunt and my brother and all of them received a call about her the entire day because of this officer. I promise you she knows. She knows. That's why she knows. And that's why I'm so surprised that she even called the police and said that I did this cuz she knows that I would never put a hand on her. She knows that 100%. >> Officer, I would never do that. I would never do that to I would never do that to my mother, especially. >> So, you're saying she's lying? >> No. >> You called 911 and said that you stabbed >> No, because when stabbed her, she fell onto the dog bowl. So, sir, when she was drunk and when she when I was first helping her, she she realized that yeah, she's been drunk all day and that's what happened. And then for some reason I came back and she was calling the police and she was I don't know what she guys told you but I nothing with a knife. She cut her head because she fell into the dog bowl. Sir, she's been an alcoholic for her whole life and my whole life and this was this was >> So you didn't push her or shove her or nothing? >> Nothing, sir. Nothing. >> So she just called the police and said that you beat her up for no reason, >> sir. Because she was confused and she she knows she's confused, sir. That's why she I guess she's sobering up a little bit because she knows I would never do that first of all. And second of all, she >> What's that? I'm just listening. >> She She knew that she fell and then and then I came back and she's back in like drunk mode where she like said that I did something because I think that's just her being drunk right now. She wants >> you back from where? Did you leave the house or were you somewhere else in the house? >> No, I Yeah, I went to my room and then and then I walked back into her room cuz I was checking on her. officers. Like, I honestly like would not touch her. And she knows that. She knows that. That's why she That's why she knows she made a mistake, you guys. Cuz she knows that. She knows that. She 100% knows that. Everybody here knows that. >> What were you guys arguing about? >> I couldn't even tell you. She's been drunk all day, like trying to argue with everybody all day. My aunt today, my dad, she's been calling him on the phone. My brother while they're at work, calling them all day. As the officers continued their questioning, the suspect stuck to his lies, not realizing that his story was about to blow up in his face. >> But specifically, what was she trying to argue about with you? >> Um, my dad. >> Okay. >> Something about my dad. I don't remember exactly what it was, but >> was she making accusations that you were doing something? Is that kind of how it started? >> No. No. She was saying something about my dad and this is exactly what happened. She was saying he's a piece of [ __ ] And then she went leaned against the refrigerator and she fell from the refrigerator, slid off the refrigerator and fell right into the dog bowl. And I freaking as soon as I picked her head up off the dog bowl, she was leaking blood. I thought she was leaking it from the side of her head because the way it was. >> Okay, >> officers. I would never touch her. She knows that. >> Have you been drinking at all today? >> Yes, I had I literally had uh two beers. I had two beers. I'm And two beers does not even get me buzzed, officer. >> All right, listen. Just take I know this is all exciting and everything like that. Just try to chill off on me. All right. >> Where was the dog bowl at? >> It was right um right on the side of the fridge. Like so there's the fridge and then there's the door to the bathroom and then the dog bowls are on the floor right there. So she was saying something about my dad and she was telling me something about him and then she like just lost her balance and literally slid off the fridge and just landed right in the dog bowl. And then she woke up instantly though. As soon as I as soon as I reached down to help her, she woke up. >> Okay. Um, is that is that what you want to stick with, man? >> Yes, sir. >> Is that We're going to We're going to get to this. >> She knows I would never. She knows I would never. >> You need to listen to me. >> Do I I can't believe she even did. >> Stop talking for a second. Listen to me. Is that the story you want to stick with? Okay. Nothing else added. Nothing else changes. Nothing like that. >> Yes, sir. >> You're sticking with that? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Cuz if we find out anything else, you know, we're going to document that you told us a lie, then? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, you're not a liar? >> Mm-m. >> Not at all. >> No, sir. >> Okay. This is your one chance to tell us if there's anything else that needs to be added into this. >> No, sir. I would never touch her. She knows that. >> Do you know the line by Do you know the line by omission is still a lie? >> You know what that means? >> Oh, you forget it. >> Oh, I don't know what else to say, bro. I I didn't do that. And she knows I wouldn't do that, bro. She's drunk. >> Do what? even touch her. Knife, whatever you guys said. A knife. I don't know. >> Okay. >> Literally nothing happened, bro. She fell and she she knew she fell and then she's been lashing out at me all day and I've not done nothing about it. You can ask my aunt. She's been she's been lashing out at me all day. Nothing about it. >> Let me talk. I think it's funny that you two were in a fight and somehow her head ends up with a massive laugh. >> We actually weren't even She was saying something about my dad when she when she fell. She She was saying nothing about me, but she's been trying to argue with me all day. And you can ask my aunt. My aunt was here all day just until probably 2 hours um 2 or 3 hours ago and then she left and they know that like I said she's been alcoholic her whole her whole life. Today was one of the worst days that she's ever had. She's very very belligerently drunk. And that's all I got to say. She knows I wouldn't touch her. She knows that I didn't do anything to her. >> Well, that's all you have to say. In a desperate attempt to drive his facade home, Nicholas tried to play on heartstrings with crocodile tears, hoping to sway the investigation, probably thinking the cops were stupid enough to fall for it. >> Let me see how much room you got. If you got enough room in there, I can't loosen them, >> bro. Please. I'm not going to try to break out a new cup, bro. I can fit. Listen, man. I can fit two fingers back there. >> Please, bro. >> We can not loosen the cups, man. It's not happening. >> I need to stand up. Is there any in your drawers? Anything like that? >> No, there's not. >> Why are they stay right there? >> The battery, bro. I didn't do anything. I don't care. Face the wall. Right here. Here. Watch me. Face the wall. He's on the wall. Actually, step out of the cell right here. >> Come on, bro. >> Huh? I was just making sure he's not trying to dope any dope. Check the toilet real quick, too. >> Bro, I don't have dope. I don't >> I don't Listen, based on the way you're acting right now and everything else, I'm not sure if you have dope or not. All right. >> I can't believe they just with that, bro. I didn't do anything. I love >> Listen, the based on the way you're acting and everything else that happened here tonight and your story about throwing up makes me concerned that you may have some some narcotics on you that you don't need to have cuz if you go out to the jail, it's another charge. If you got on you and they will do a strip search out there. So if we find it here, it ends here. But if it goes out to the jail, it's going to be a whole another heap of problems. You got on you at all? >> No. No. >> Face the wall. Hands on the wall. You got to charge me with that. Bro, I didn't do anything to her, bro. She knows I didn't do anything to her. >> She does this all the time. She always gets drunk and does this kind of stuff, man. >> All right, turn around. Face me. There's nothing in there, right? >> No, bro. You already checked me four times. >> I didn't check you at all. Okay. All right. I'm not going to go in there all the way. Dude, pull it up. If they find it in the jail, they find it in the jail. I just want to make sure you didn't have anything on you. >> What is going on, bro? >> Okay. What is going on? >> Uh, we put him Did you Did you go do what you got to do? >> Yes, bro. I still feel like I have to go to the hospital, but I feel >> we're taking him to the hospital, >> but that is not going to change anything. >> I know. >> Okay, let's get him in the side thing. So you're >> more fine. >> That's weird to me. That's why >> I could wait. Can you No, man. Go. >> No. >> Stop. >> I just said no. and follow. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Where in Orlando you live? >> Um, I don't remember, bro. I just I really am upset. The thing that makes me the most simp I don't understand Like why she called and said I did something to her when she knows that I didn't do anything. And plus it says on the thing stabbing, bro. The like, bro, I didn't stab nobody, nor would I ever stab anybody. >> Says stabbing. Like you guys don't even know what it what happened, bro. She fell and hit her head on the dog bowl, bro. >> Are you going to relax? >> Drunk as [ __ ] >> Are you going to relax? >> Bro, but it's stupid, bro. >> I need you to relax. >> You said I didn't do anything. I'm sorry I ran from you guys, bro, but >> cuz right now you getting angry is not making things better. I'll tell you that. >> I don't know, bro. I wish. I wish I wasn't in this situation. >> Nicholas Porter was eventually charged with serious assault and resisting without violence. In a more disturbing case, we have Landanda Wilder and John Lo, who were involved in an 8-year-old boy's passing and attempted to conceal their actions. That was until the cops came knocking. Put your hands behind your back, palms together like you're praying. I'm going to detain you in handcuffs. Okay. >> No, he ain't do nothing. >> Stop. >> On June the 28th, 2024, officers responded to a distress call regarding a missing juvenile at a local residence. When the officer arrived, he met with the victim's mother, Lash, who was in a state of utter disarray. >> Missing is going to be uh 8 years old, male, black, dark skin, male black with a fade, uh black hair, brown eyes. He's short about 75 lbs break. >> He was last seen about 9:30, 10:00 last night when they went to bed. Mom got up about 11:48. Noticed that the uh back door was open and he's run away three times before. So, if we can have you circulate some parks and areas around here, um we're going to go ahead and search the house. >> The officer conducted further inquiry, but the outcome was far from certain. So, we have other than the park and then the neighbor's house, >> where is where's the neighbor lived that he was found at? >> Okay. So, there's no family or friends around? >> No. No other family or friends? >> What? See nobody else when I walk around. >> All right. All right. There's uh no force entry to the rear door in this house. Shifting strategies, the officer hoped the new approach would the case, but doubts still lingered about its effectiveness. >> Have you seen him at all recently? >> No. >> No. Thank you. Seen him recently. No. All right. No, he ran away. Hey guys. >> Hi. >> You How are you? I want to see you guys see this kid. Come over here. I want to see you seen him recently, >> huh? >> Missing a kid. >> Yeah, missing a kid. Have you seen him recently? >> Oh, he's scared me. >> Is that the only picture? >> Yeah, that's the recent one. Have you seen him recently? >> Mm- No. All right. >> He missed it from what? >> The yellow one right there. >> What is it? >> A eight. >> That's his eight. >> Yeah. So if you see him, >> let me sit up right here. >> Not check the park. I mean, how long? >> We got since last night. >> Last night. >> So yeah, we got units checking parts and so >> Yeah. You seen him? Cam, >> you haven't seen him since this morning and all. >> That look like the little boy that'd be over here. >> He had camo pants on and a black shirt like camo sleeping pants. >> So can't been out here, ain't he? >> When was that? >> He look single parent. >> Yeah, I think so. I'm not I'm not sure. But >> do he Dude, he got a green bike. >> He got a green bike. >> Yeah, because if he got a green bike, I know he's not on a bike. That's my friend. >> What does he have? Cuz I think I don't see that little boy out here. >> Yeah, >> boy. >> I mean, if you see a kid in camo pants, sleeping pants, >> camo sleeping pants, >> and a black shirt. >> I saw him wear a black shirt. >> So, just call 911. >> 911's fine. Yeah. See, that's why I be on y'all. As the investigation unfolded, the mother and her girlfriend suddenly vanished, taking the victim's two siblings with them. That disappearance raised serious red flags. With growing suspicion, officers obtained a search warrant for their home. What they found in the attic left officers shaken, missing juveniles lifeless body bearing clear signs of mistreatment, including bruises, cuts, and an injury to the neck. What came next wasn't just about justice. It was about confronting the two women behind it all. Starting with Lashand's girlfriend, Donna Lope. Hi there. >> Got some Got some guard dogs in there. I'm coming. >> Okay, come on out. >> You miss low? >> Okay. Put your hands behind your back, palms together like you're praying. I'm going to detain you in handcuffs. Okay. Okay. >> Here, do me a favor. Bend over at the waist. We got to get these bottom set of handcuffs off. >> Yep. And then spread your hands as much as you can. >> That way it's a little more comfortable for you. >> Yeah. The ASP handcuffs, they got key holes on both sides. >> Yeah, they're nice. And they double lock just by pressing up. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Will you do me a favor? Will you uh contact detective, see if they want us to do anything with the house? rather than just taking her down. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. >> Actually, you know what? I'm about to not be doing anything. Just watch the house. I'll take care of it. >> What's that? >> No. No. It's 931. This one right here. >> As the officers did their jobs, tensions arose when Jon's relatives decided to insert themselves into the case. Jesus my die >> cuz he's on our board and they said he will fight every single time. >> He looks like he's just waiting for >> Oh, he is. >> I don't know if homicide wants us to hold this house or not. >> I think I didn't >> I think Sarge is on the phone with him right now. together. I'll put you on it. >> Everybody back to the ser. >> In the end, Jonah and Lashand were charged with homicide, parental neglect, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and remains in connection with the juveniles passing away. It was later discovered that the two women connive and made up the story about the kid running away to cover up their crime. With Landanda and Jon's fate now sealed, let's take a look at Tyrion Sherman, a soulless man who committed a heinous crime against his own girlfriend and paid the price for his actions. >> Oh. They're not cops, okay? They don't have anything on on them. You know what I'm saying? So, they're here to help you. >> But we just got to take this one step at a time. But you honestly, you can't kick or Okay. No, we can't have, you know, it's no good, right? >> An officer gave talking a but the outcome was far from certain. I mean, you're staying calm. You think you are you feeling like >> you need something to calm you? >> No. >> No. You can stay You can stay mellow like this. >> I don't know. >> I know. I hear you. >> I got to talk to the medic. >> Yep. We'll get to the medics. All right. They they sometimes they can give you a to call you. Okay. >> Yeah, man. Damn, man. >> All right. >> I got to wait till I get to the hospital, you know? I get to the hospital, then I I You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> All right, Terion. >> Yeah. >> You know what? >> Yeah. Yeah, >> if you can stay calm like this, you're going to make me look like a rock star. Just you got about 25 cops here, okay? >> And you know, I know you're not here to make me look like a rockstar, but honestly, I don't want you to get hurt, okay? We want to get you in the ambulance, okay? But I'm telling you, if things go ry, I I can't guarantee that you won't get injured somehow. All right? So, you really you got to keep on playing in your mind here to stay calm. Okay. We're going to get you on a C and then we'll get you to the hospital and you'll see a medical doctor. All right. You're doing good, buddy. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Is the light shining in there? Is that Is that uh >> Is that freaking you out at all? >> Nuh-uh. >> Okay. Good. All right. >> I'm just shaking my hair. >> What's that? >> I was just checking my hair on the camera. >> Okay. Yep. That's you right there. >> Yeah. So, >> is it all record though? I hope the rest of your days are better. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> All right. I hope this is the bottom for you. All right. There's more to life >> than this. >> Okay. >> And you're the only one that can search that. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. There's cameras all over the place. See the red light? It's recording. We have cameras everywhere. See the red light blinking on my body camera? That's recording. Everything's recording. Okay. That's for your benefit, our benefit. Everything else. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Does that make sense? >> I don't see a recording though. >> What's that? >> I don't see a record. >> That's what the REC is. The red. >> Press it. >> Yep. You press it, it's going to do the same thing. >> Press it one time. Press it one time. >> I'll press it one time. >> Don't press it too. here. But here, this is this is >> this is I need >> Hey, honestly, you need to stay calm, Terry. You know you acting like that's not normal. >> And I need you honestly. If you're not going to act normal, then we're going to be stuck here a long time. All right, you with me? I got ambulance. >> Everything seemed fine until they got to the hospital where the suspect made shocking admissions that changed everything. >> Oh, I don't want to take the medics. You >> Well, here. Hey, >> man. I'm going to take the medic. >> Terion, listen. Honestly, this isn't a this isn't a game. >> Okay. >> Honestly. >> All right. Honestly, this is Don't All right, Terion. I'm serious. >> All right. >> All right. >> You want to scoot back? Can you scoot back, >> Terry? Oops. >> There you go. Come on. >> Got to get over that pump. >> Yep. >> There you go. >> I'll make sure you don't fall. >> Keep on coming. Just do it. Do what I told you. I'm right here. Good. You're doing good. >> Just get Yep. Don't you >> get on there. These guys are going to help you. Medics right here. >> Medics are right here. >> If you move them, >> I think that's a quote. >> That's what I said to that dog before I that I had to that dog. A real live dog. What the? It was a girl, but it was a boy. I need my meds. I need my meds. I need my meds. >> I'm tripping. >> I just the dog. >> An officer interviewed a witness who gave him a detailed account of everything he knew about the incident. What did you think was happening up there? >> I heard Well, because I heard her like cuz I've been up there before and like just like heard and it's all been her. She had been like it to me it sounded like she was throwing slam like clear off. You know what I mean? Like when you're piss let it all out and they just been kind of like sitting take it like you know call her crazy or something. Um it seemed Yeah. And that's why I learned in the past and then today so I was like just it's just bad just had a really freaking so I let it go for and then we like debating like mad cuz it was like some he's like we're like he's beating her. >> You thought that he was beating her? >> Yeah, we thought that. >> Yep. So that's what you guys thought when you heard what was going on. I mean it was pretty loud. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> You know we yelling but we didn't know I don't know exactly what phrases or names. >> Yeah. You know, I I stepped outside like I went outside of our apartment building into the hallway and I was just heard all like man. It was very repetitive. Whatever he was saying he was saying like guys are tweeting out and stuff whether you just have psychotic mental breaks or something. >> What what do you remember anything that he said? He said you might have thought you heard him saying something >> just like >> violent stuff at all or no. Did you hear him make threats or did you hear him? >> I don't remember any specific threat necessarily. >> What did you hear when you said that? I heard a bunch of banging. >> Banging? >> Yeah. Walls were rattling and stuff. But do you thought they were fighting? >> Yeah, I definitely knew. I pretty much knew they were fighting cuz I just heard it was loud. Everything was banging around up there. Every wall was like hitting stuff and it was like different sound every time I went. Like I was honestly like I don't know. I [ __ ] was going out there. I don't know if they had a gun or how thin the floors were or whatever. So I was like trying to move away from where I was getting the motion at upstairs cuz I just didn't know what was going to happen. So that was moving all around the apartment >> and I swear like at the beginning she was like in the room and he was out here yelling someone he'd come back to the room and yell at her more. >> Wait, when you say back to like in the back bedroom that's why I thought I could hear her more than at the beginning before all like when the yelling was going on before the banging at the start. Do you think she was in that back bedroom? >> Yeah. >> Terion Sherman was eventually charged with two counts of seconddegree homicide and was sentenced to 40 years in prison. The victim, who was identified as Abigail, tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crime. Next, we have this cold-hearted man who was not moved when his mother's body was found in her home because he knew exactly how she lost her life. Did you hear us knocking before? Were you knocked out? >> No, I was sleeping in there >> cuz I feel like you'reing with me. What the hell? What's the deal? >> You're going to tell me you didn't know mom was in there? >> No. >> What is there no contact order between you and mom for? On May the 5th, 2023, officers were sent to an apartment to conduct a welfare check after a concerned woman reported that she had been unable to get in touch with her sister. Upon arriving at the house and seeing it in a seemingly deserted state, the officers went over to the neighbors to find out if they had seen anything suspicious happening at the woman's house. And as they interacted with them, the situation started getting more worrisome. >> How you doing? >> Hey, doing good. How are you? >> All right, brother. Have you seen Laney recently? >> The girl? >> Yeah. Next door neighbor. >> Just the guys over there. >> When's the last time you seen them? >> Him? He usually walks up and down the road, but her I haven't seen her in a while. >> How long would a wild be? >> Days? Months? >> Day or two? >> Two days. >> Three days or something like that. >> When's the last time you seen the boys? >> Yesterday. >> Okay. So, nobody today. >> Mm-m. Have you heard any any fighting, anything in the last two days? Any loud commotion? >> I know it's would be not abnormal for you to hear yelling and screaming coming from over there. So, >> nothing. >> He's only been there for like a few weeks cuz the tent wasn't there. Then the tent showed up and then he was around. So, >> right. Any any commotions or anything the last couple days or before then? >> No yelling or fighting or anything like that be here. They're pretty quiet for the most part, but okay. The most I see out of the dude is just like sometimes he walks up and down the road. Today he was riding a bike. So >> um do you know what color bike it was? >> I didn't pay attention. >> Okay. Was it just a bike or a >> like a just like a full size like >> bike already? The woman's apartment was in a deplorable state and it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned out for weeks. Even more concerning to the cops was the terrible smell oozing from inside. The nasty smell gave the officers a hunch that something was going on. And after a while of being at the house, a young man came out. >> Did you hear us knocking before where you knocked out? >> No, I was sleeping in there. >> I'm glad you woke up cuz you're about to come inside. We're looking for mom. Do you have you seen her? >> She's not around right now. >> Do you know where she's at? Sister's asking for She's not in any trouble or anything like that. I >> have no idea. >> When was the last time you saw her? >> Few days ago. >> Where'd she go? She just want to go for said she back. >> Is it abnormal for mom to be gone for >> days at a time? >> Sometimes. >> Where does she usually go? Does she have a favorite place where she likes to go when she's not home? >> Not that I know of. Did she tell you anything out of the normal when she last time you saw her? >> No. >> What happened the last time you guys were together? >> She gave me a few cigarettes and a little bit of food and some hand soap wash my hands. Told me I would come stay back here. >> Okay. >> But you haven't seen mom since then. When's the last time you text called or anything like that? >> Okay. When was the last time you saw dad? >> Week ago. >> Do you know where he's staying at? >> No, I heard that she might have called the cops on him. >> Yeah, he he got arrested the 25th of last month. for trespassing. >> Do you know who stays in the tent? That's >> what I was saying before she come. Oh, she told you you could come before she left. >> Yeah. >> Be right. They just went inside to make sure she's not in there. My house. >> Huh? >> I can't tell you no. >> Okay. business. >> But you stay here and it's your mom's house. >> Then we're looking for mom. So, we just want to make sure mom's not stowed away in a closet or something. Dad didn't come back and retaliate for getting arrested or something like that. >> If you're not going to tell me yesterday, we're just going to peek your head in there real quick and then we'll come back outside. The man who managed to keep his act together all along began to act suspicious as soon as the officers mentioned that they were going to search the house. Once he led the officers to the back of the house and forced the door open, they immediately proceeded with the search and discovered something horrific. >> I think if he shimmy it in to the right, we could be able to just pull it out. mess this up. She'll be >> sure he's wearing shirt. >> So, push it into the right. >> Keep pushing it in. Now, try to move it out and then push it out. There you go. >> There we go. >> Are you sure mom's not in there? >> I don't know. I just stayed in my room. Stay in my living room. >> We're already in. So, we're going to find out. Huh? >> I understand. >> So, you're going to tell me you didn't know mom was in there? >> No. >> At this point, the man knew that he couldn't keep up with the lie any longer. So, he gradually began to let the truth out. >> Do you swear to affirm that the statement you're about to give is the whole truth, but nothing but the truth? >> Yes, sir. >> When we first got here and talked to, you said you hadn't seen mom in how long? >> Few days. >> A few days. When is is that the act your actual answer or what's what is the answer you want to swear to the last time you saw mom? >> We were talking around the house here. I mean yeah I seen her riding a bike and uh she gave me a few cigarettes and stuff and told me to stop back by the house later. and I came and stopped back by the house later and we were talking and cleaning up the yard and cleaning up the house and everything and she told me to stay inside and a few days ago. >> But you said that wasn't the truth that you weren't supposed to be staying inside. >> Yes. When we talked to you over there, I said you're not supposed to be here and that's so >> no contact order. >> Okay. >> I believe. >> Do you know if it's still active or no? No sir. >> Okay. >> I imagine you might. I don't know for sure. I figured she told me I should come stay with her, but I don't know. >> Okay. >> What is there no contact order between you and mom for? >> You got to spew. >> Um, she said I slapped her. I punched her. >> So battery. >> Yes, sir. >> Domestic stuff. >> Yes, sir. When's the last time you seen dad? >> This last week, I believe. >> Okay. >> What did How did your conversation with dad go the last time you saw him? >> Bad. >> Bad. >> It wasn't bad. >> It wasn't bad. >> How about between mom and dad? Did they talk? >> Um, the only thing I knew is she told at that point in time when she got home, she told me and both to leave. So I left him walking somewhere and he stayed away. >> Do you know where dad is at currently? >> No sir. >> You know if dad has a job? >> No sir. >> And you haven't talked to dad since >> that night? Yes sir. >> That night. >> Okay. Well, I guess he got arrested. >> That's what I heard. >> And you last you didn't get arrested? Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> And your and mom's relationship has been good as of as of late. Yeah. >> Did you notice anything different while you've been staying hereoulevard? >> Did that not raise any alarm to you? >> Not heard from her for a couple months. >> Did you go and check? >> I did go look in there. >> Let's see. I guess what she did. I mean, I don't have a cell phone. >> So, you saw her in the position that she's currently in now. >> So, why did you tell us that mom wasn't there? >> You know better than me. I wasn't the one that did it. So, >> cuz I smelt her before you ever even came outside. Then you were telling me mom's not in there. And you know damn well that she was in there. Yes, sir. >> And they were lying today. >> So why wouldn't you just tell us the truth? We told you from the beginning we weren't there for you. We just wanted to make sure mom and mom was good. >> That's all. >> So what prompted you to lie to us? >> Start over. >> And um when you went in there and checked on her 2 days ago, did you know that she was deceased? >> I would say so. I wouldn't say no. >> Okay. Was it apparently obvious to you that >> somebody smelling like that wouldn't be somebody who Okay. >> So, why didn't you call law enforcement when you found her and deceased? You don't know? >> Okay. Any idea why she is deceased? >> No. >> What could have happened? >> No. >> Okay. The man was charged with failing to report to me medical examiner and pleaded guilty. Moving on to Lewis Sigura, a cold-blooded criminal who thought he had evaded consequences until the cops swooped in when he least expected it. >> Why are you guys touching me? Hold on. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'd like to speak to a lawyer, please. >> Yep. You have the opportunity to speak to a lawyer, but right now you're under arrest. On the morning of the 29th of October 2023, the police received a distress call from a family about a wanted suspect identified as Louise Sigura. They alleged that he was residing at their residence. Louise believed that he was in a safe space and out of the law's reach. Well, at least until the cops showed up. Upon arrival, the cops were shocked to find him so relaxed for a man who had several infractions with the law. >> Sheriff's office. Just want to talk to you, sheriffs. Just want to make sure everybody's all right in there. I got him. >> We're going to try to make contact with the person in the bathroom now. >> Where is he? >> He has a knife. Okay. What kind of knife? >> 703. You want to call? You want me to? >> Okay. >> Is he still in the house? >> Yeah. Okay. >> Okay, guys. Hey, he's still in the house and he has a knife. Guys, get ready. Sheriff's office. Louis, if you're in here, >> let's get out of the fatal funnel. >> Hey, Louis. Louis, >> just want to talk to you, Louis. Louis. >> He's right here. >> Hey, Louis. Louis. Louis. >> Taser. >> Okay, >> Louis. >> Louis. >> Louis. Hey. >> Oh. >> Hey, Louis. >> Yeah. Come. I need to talk to you. >> Yeah. Why are you touching me, sir? >> Cuz I need to talk to you. I was just talking. Can you grab the other ones? Come on. Hold on. Why are you guys Hold on. >> Why are you guys touching me? Hold on. Why you guys Hey. Hey. Hey. Listen. >> The suspect tried to act like he had no clue of why he was being arrested. This was a popular tactic common with most criminals. But unfortunately for him, the cops were not new to the game. >> Hey Louis, look at me. >> If you stop resisting, we won't charge you resisting. >> What happened though? >> Absolutely. Let me get you a cop and we'll talk. No cops. I refuse cuffs. I refuse. You don't you don't >> put your hands behind your back. >> I got one right here. >> You got the other one. >> Yes, you do. Miss [Music] >> is the evidence. >> I'd like to speak to a lawyer, please. >> Yep. You'll have the opportunity to speak to a lawyer, but right now you're under arrest. >> You guys, by the way, >> okay, you going to stand up? >> I'm on your side. Okay. Come on. Stand up. >> You're going to be cooper. >> Yeah. >> My phone. >> I'll get you your phone. >> Where's your phone? >> Yeah. >> You got my phone. >> You got anything on you? >> No. You guys can. >> Okay. >> We can check you. >> It's for our safety. Okay. We got to make sure >> we're going to be transported. Maybe stop. I don't want to hit too much. >> I don't want to go there. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop moving around. We got to check you to make sure everything's okay. >> I'm calm. I'm over here playing video game. >> I see that. Stop doing this. Don't check my B. That's >> So, do you have a knife on you or No, that's where >> me struggle. >> I don't know. >> Okay. Well, then we need to find it. >> Did you guys say I had a knife on you? Why are you guys lying? >> I don't have a knife. >> You do or you don't. >> Why are you lying? I don't know. Do I know? I don't feel one. >> Where'd you put that knife that you had? >> I don't know. >> Do I have a knife or not? >> If I did, it's for my safety. That's not You guys have pistols on your waist. >> Good. Well, for our our safety, we need to find it and make sure that you don't have it. >> I don't have a knife. >> Okay. >> It was a kitchen knife. It's in the kitchen. >> Okay. We're going to go to a part. So, why am I being arrested? >> You have a warrant. You have a warrant. A bunch of things. >> We can explain the paperwork. She has the paperwork in her car. >> Stand up. And if you're going to keep picking us >> Well, you did go myto. The police officers tried to get more information about him from the family as they called for help. They were more than overjoyed to have him removed from the residence. But it was when they began to express fears about him that the cops began to understand that they had a serious criminal on their hands. We were here yesterday for this, weren't we? >> Yes. >> All right, let's go inside. Actually, >> in the morning, I was like thinking I don't know if he get >> there's a uh >> Well, there's a warrant out for his arrest and now he's going to be charged with resisting and whatever is going to come out of this. Okay. thing that I am really scared right now is that he said if he go to jail, he's going to kill anyone. So, >> he won't have the opportunity to. He's going to be getting washed at the jail. Nothing he could do to you guys or anybody else at the jail. Okay. What happened today? >> Okay. Um I was just worried. I don't know if um to get him or not. And I went out um and he was sleeping sitting there and with that and they had a little bench there and he said, "Mommy, I'm sorry." And I said, "No, Louis, it's no more no more chances, no more opportunities. The police is going to get you if you want." Um he said, "I'm tired." I told him, "You can take a shower, but you need to be quiet and then the police is going to come for you." and he say I just tired. Then um he went inside. >> Mhm. >> And um as a mom, I don't wanted to see him like suffering in the cold weather, but I don't have no more choices, >> right? >> And >> so you found him sleeping outside and you knew there was a warrant out for him, but he asked to take a shower. You let him. And then what happened? >> He didn't take a shower. >> He didn't take a shower. Once he got inside, what did he do? Uh he said that if the he's never going to go to the jail. If he come he's going to call the police and >> if he go back uh back to the hospital he's going to kill somebody or to the jail. >> Okay. >> And he went to me my room again. >> He went to the what? >> He just woke up like when I heard that. >> He went to his room to don't open and then don't open. But he's really fast. >> Okay. So you said he went into his room. Yes. >> And then what happened? >> Um he said he started saying same thing that he said >> that if we come and grab him he's going to us and stuff like that. Okay. >> Um how did you end up in the bathroom locked in the bathroom? >> Oh my god. >> He went to go give her a hug and they were falling and like they just fell to the ground. So I went to go to the bathroom. >> They fell. So >> they fell to me. Me >> like did he push her intentionally or did he >> I don't know. I don't know. What happened? >> I don't know. He just kept like going I guess he just kept hugging her like to the ground. So they just end up on the ground but he was just playing in his eyes. >> So >> Okay. So he started pushing you to the ground like grabbing you but bringing you to the ground. >> I don't know what happened but we went to the floor. Yes. >> Okay. And then from there what happened? >> My daughter ran to the bathroom. >> And then you ran to the bathroom too. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Later he she tried to and then he got in too. >> I guess I need to understand what happened here. So I need >> I was in the bathroom. He was in the bathroom and then after I was like I didn't know whether to call her or not. So I texted my aunt instead of >> Was he acting crazy? He was acting angry or was he just so you know I'm I'm going tell anybody who comes and grabs us. But was he threatening you too? >> Any of you?
