recently an article was published about
me on a far-left wing web page that had
a bunch of quotes from Columbus Police
civilian reviewed board member Dr Chanel
Jones the article was about this YouTube
channel and Dr Jones didn't hold back
her criticism saying
nothing that he's doing on social media
at least that I have seen has been done
to help improve Community Police
relations or has been informative to the
community these comments are an insult
to me the division of police and the
loyal viewers of this channel by making
that statement Dr Jones is exposing her
bias against police officers and
exposing the fact that she's talking
about a subject she does not
understand I would like to add that
maybe if she did watch this channel it
would make her more qualified to be a
member of the Columbus Police civilian
review board as they've proven time and
time again that they lack the most basic
understanding of police work she went on
in her comments to say clearly he's not
thinking about the citizen when he's
posting this footage he's not thinking
about their emotional state or the
impact that sharing this video will have
on their personal or professional life
she's also accused me of uploading only
short clips of interactions without
context in order to get clicks and likes
it's true that I often post videos of
people who are high or in mental
distress but these videos are posted to
show how the police handle these
situations there are a lot of people in
the public that believe police only make
these situations worse the video is I've
shown on the channel stand in Star
contract to this line of thinking the
reason I share those interactions are to
show the public that if you need it the
police are here to help and they're very
good at these types of
calls if Dr Jones had actually watched
the videos on this channel she would
know her statements are not
true let's take a look at some of the
most popular videos starting with man
high on meth and Other Drugs found
sleeping in the road this was Scott's
first appearance on the channel he had
recently been released from prison and
started using meth and fetanyl that
eventually took control of his life on
this particular night he was high and
could hardly control his
body this way
Scott try to hold together for a minute
they're going to freak out okay my
sister's hold on just let me here yeah
good all right we're going to go through
that door right over there all right now
let's look at some of the
comments perfect example of how to
police a community right here in
Columbus they really are the only
example I've ever seen on how to
interact with all spectrum of
humanity that officer was nothing but
kind and compassionate to the guy the
entire
time that officer is an example of how
all officers should be when dealing with
these types of
situations notice the guy is respectful
and completely compliant this gives some
hope to the world filled with suffering
can all officers be as compassionate and
professional as this man the world would
be such a better place likely this man
will remember this night in how many
people really do care and get some
selfhelp this officer
is really out there trying to help by
Saving one person at a
time these are just a handful of the
comments but the majority of them all
have the same tone do you still believe
that this channel does nothing to help
Community Police relations do you still
think it's not good for Columbus since
you don't watch the channel you're also
not aware of all the other times that
Scott has been on the channel like the
day I drove down to the West Side on my
day off and picked him up for lunch we
sat in my truck for a little while and
we talked about his life what it's like
to be in his position and how he feels
about being put on YouTube do you still
use
meth not like I used to no way but I
mean occasionally what's what's stopping
you like how is it your mindset no it
was me watching these videos really yeah
I said man that's interesting
I
um I get a lot of criticism for putting
those videos on the internet why people
think that I'm exploiting
people I mean I kind of felt like in
some ways you know what I mean like I'm
I mean I was high out of my head and I
might have said a few things that was I
probably shouldn't have said M or could
have got me putting some situations out
here on the street yeah but for the most
part that ain't your fault that's my
fault you're also probably not aware of
the fact that I have a relationship with
Scott's family I helped get him into
rehab a couple of times and that I went
to his rehab facility and talked to him
for several hours gave him the
opportunity to share his story so others
would not go down the same path do you
still think that I do nothing to help
Community Police
relations how you doing I'm doing great
man how you been I'm all right man
um I don't even know where to start uh
how are you feeling right now I feel the
best I've ever felt in probably 25 years
really yeah just that I'm not able to
walk yet but I'm getting there you know
I mean working out and stuff like that
like you feel better physically than you
felt in years I feel better physically
and now really yeah like
uh you is was there like a fog over your
brain constantly prior of this or yeah I
mean on drugs you know what I mean so
yeah I would say all I can say is I had
a blinded eye to
everything yeah you know it's so crazy
how how good it feel is just to look
outside and see you know what I mean see
Ste rainbow and stuff like that know
corny but yeah how about this video
officers find a man who believes he's in
the CIA we're always hearing about how
officers don't know how to handle
mentally ill individuals if you listen
to the activist you'll believe that
we're always beating up mentally ill
people because that's the only thing we
know how to do watch how the officer
handles this

reassuring to see the level of patience
and professionalism displayed in this no
personal feelings just empathy all
throughout this world needs more
officers like him he did an amazing job
deescalate the situation
the officer handled this with patience I
hope he gets the help he needs this
officer should be training other
officers and how to treat people with
respect and how to help those in Mental
Health crisis he's definitely a
gem do you still think that these videos
do nothing to help Community Police
relations do you think I am just doing
this for clicks or for personal
gratification the video is on this
channel are also used for police
training across the country I get
messages from officers all of the time
saying they're at in service and they
just watched me talking to a mentally
ill person here are a couple letters I
have received from police training
companies about my work I won't Bore You
by reading the entire letter but this
one from 886 Consulting LLC says that
from time to time I searched the
internet for publicly available videos
that illustrate situations that have
gone well or badly that I can discuss
with my class time and time again I have
found the videos posted on Columbus
Police body camera that show good police
citizen encounters using empathy active
listening and compassion for those in
crisis situations being able to see
these encounters drives home positive
points on good crisis Communications
that I teach in my class in a time that
the internet is flooded with videos for
all to see fil with situations showing
bad judgment rudeness and in some
situations unreasonable Force the videos
posted on Columbus Police body camera
are not only positive training AIDS but
also a breath of fresh air that show
what we all know that there is much much
more good police work being done than
there is otherwise while I have never
personally met officer Ben his demeanor
and professionalism as shown in the
videos I have seen exemplify the good
work being done by the men and women of
law enforcement the police department
and the entire city of Columbus should
be proud and then this one also from a
training company in Indiana speaking
about the video you're watching in the
background we believe that the content
and professional way the primary officer
handles the call will be extremely
helpful for our state's officers to
learn from in the video your officer
displayed positive example of how to
deescalate a situation involving a
person experiencing Mental Health crisis
while still maintaining officer and
Public Safety you're very fortunate to
have an officer of this caliber working
for your city and closing they said it's
interactions with the public like these
that help build the relations between
police and the local community keep up
the great work I could go on like this
forever but I won't I have almost
650 videos on YouTube and the
overwhelming majority of them show that
Columbus police officers are some of the
best most well-trained and compassionate
officers in the country and for some
reason Dr Jones has a problem with
that I created this channel four years
ago to combat the lies being told about
the columus division of police lies
being told by activists and city leaders
like the mayor and city council those
lies were being used to make the
officers of the Columbus Division of
police look bad so that those
politicians and and activist could gain
more political power and influence for
themselves speaking of anti- police
activists that's exactly what the
Columbus office of Inspector General and
the civilian review board are made up of
the real reason that Dr Jones doesn't
like me or my YouTube channel is because
I've exposed their lies and
incompetence on December 18th
2023 I released a video titled the
Columbus inspector General's office has
a clear anti-p police
bias in that video I went into detail
about an incident where an the office of
Inspector General filed a false report
stating that an officer stopped an
African-American teen for nothing more
than wearing a hoodie in actuality that
team was white and he was never even
stopped by the police the investigator
never even talked to the kid who
complained about the officer they just
assumed the kid was black because that
fit their narrative a simple address
search would have shown that officers
were at this kid's house over 20 times
in the previous year that he had a
violent history and that he was in fact
a male
white they used that report to charge an
officer with biased base
profiling I've released other video
showing the incompetence of the
inspector General's office and instances
where investigators gave citizens false
information about Columbus Police
policies where even the citizen who
filed the complaint knew the policy
better than the
investigator yeah it's on file um I
requested the records I haven't watched
review the body cam yet um but I'm just
trying to get out ahead of this um
discretionary um I want to make sure
that you have a you know claws in there
when they look it up he did look and he
did check um however he should have made
an arrest or he should have uh written a
summons for this individual so yeah so
my understanding is the way that uh
trespassing forms written is it's at the
officer's discretion and he's under no
obligation to arrest but he's got the
right to arrest there have been several
other videos where I show how out of
touch members of the civilian review
board are like when pastor Rich Nathan
asked if officers should wear body
cameras when they're off duty just in
case they're ever involved in a
shooting uh just I I'm not
sure uh what the um policy is but if
you're an off-duty
officer you come upon
a uh situation that
requires you know your
assistance uh
uh is that covered anywhere not special
duty but off duty can an off duty
officer Au use deadly force in breaking
up a you know situation that they
determin is you know where deadly force
is required and second where the body
warn cameras fit in with off-duty
officers or the time that he wanted to
make a policy that off officer should
apologize to citizens who file
complaints against them even if the
officer is cleared of
wrongdoing I I have no idea what the
volume would be of
apologies uh
but you know even if it were in the uh
instances where a complaint was filed
there you go I'm going to say that
that's probably outside the scope of
your duties and responsibilities this
YouTube channel shows police officers
treating the community with dignity and
respect going above and beyond to serve
their community and set an example for
officers across the country but Dr Jones
stated it's just not helpful it's not
something that the Columbus Division of
police or the city of Columbus needs
right
now now the city of Columbus and the
civilian review board are trying to shut
down this YouTube channel this is what
happens when you expose corrupt and
incompetent government actors rather
than correct their behavior they attack
the person who exposed their wrongdoing
