top water in the morning he's hitting a uh Frank bait action I got him started a little quick I got a little head start on Frank but I'm I'm already I'm already down I'm down two fish already so we'll see if we can get a bike going today see what we can do it's gonna be fun guys here we go Frank's First cast let's go Frank here we go here we go here we go crazy cover great Shoreline cover water temperatures right lights right just need the fish to cooperate this morning oh it's going to happen fish just came up right there blown up everywhere now here's the here's the deal sir I'm sorry I'm gonna have to stop you right there all right but uh we're going to have to can you please put that away for a second yeah because uh I need to check and see if you got a ballot fishing license today we're out here on the lake and uh my fishing license is electronic cuz it comes with my big game okay well you know what we might have to write you a warning to get a warning on [Laughter] that man that hook is sharp it's funny I was thinking out of my way in this morning I was like you know my cuz I get the the huntfish combo when you put in actually I just got drawn from Havalina oh nice um down south actually my my cameraman is a uh loves hunting the Border okay dude just loves hunting The Border Great hunting and um he's like hey man put in for uh he's like put in for Havalina he's like dude we'll just go and we'll spot and scare deer and uh he's like sh we'll just shoot haval I like it' be great oh that's I put in like ploop really I was like all right so now I haven't fished I haven't hunted archery in years yeah cuz in in Maryland I hunt on the East Coast quite a bit oh really yeah yeah and in uh in Maryland you hunt crossbow really yeah so I haven't had a uh I haven't had a a compound bow in 20 years he tried he wanted it out there shallow yep shallow shallow all right only sitting in all right this thing's heavy this thing's heavy enough man I'll hit the shoreline oh yeah Frank man can cast that sucker I love it one's going to come up and Crush that sucker I love how loud this thing is right cuz you know they can hear that oh yeah uh oh there he is cast behind right where I just went they're probably a little wad of the little guys hey right now I'll take a little guy heck yeah they're fun man catching fish no matter what size they are it's a blast again checking duck hunters and talking to fishermen and it was awesome loved it you like patrolled on the water I was in yeah I was mainly in uh I was in Lake Patrol the majority of my career with MCSO so I was I was on the water doing watercraft stops um you know checking for typ four throw BS and you know your pfds and fire extinguishers and all that stuff that's freaking cool and um you know and then I'd stop and talk to fishermen a lot I would check licenses of people fishing from Shore but I never [ __ ] with fisherman on the water yeah but I would talk to him all the time about what what they were catching like hey man you guys got your licenses and everything yeah good enough all right man hey what do you catch these fish on so but you know when you're a fisherman you're a hunter you speak the language abs didn't hunt and didn't fish um you know they wouldn't they wouldn't talk to guys because they wouldn't know how to talk to them gotcha you know and like they wouldn't check duck hunters or Dove Hunters because they they didn't you know they didn't know the species of ducks and they didn't know what the limits were and all that stuff it was all stuff that I knew because because I duck hunted gotcha you got one nope oh bottom yeah so it was It was kind of cool cuz I I was able to kind of make my own make my own way and do my own thing just because of stuff that I was naturally comfortable with from growing up hunting and fishing gotcha so that's kind of cool man I was that was pretty cool yeah so I got into that and ended up getting into like DUI enforcement traffic enforcement real heavy um and a lot of cops hate DUIs hate them oh my God they hate them um because it's I mean there's so much um there's so much paperwork that's involved with them because lawyers get involved in it yeah and um it's like lawyers are involved and it sucks there's a ton of paperwork and you know if you screw one thing of paperwork up the case gets thrown out and cops just cops the vast majority of cops don't like DUIs huh um which is kind of it kind of sucks because like that's one of the most dangerous things oh it it'll hurt you ever I mean you get hit by a drunk man you're I got hit by a drunk in like 0809 totaled a uh total to Chevy 2500 HD I wased I stopped at a stop light nope tree pound um and uh I got hit by a drug impaired driver really just rear ended total my truck yeah so we want to we want to so there's a huge you know huge deal in Arizona with you know drunk boat drivers yeah absolutely oui is absolutely a thing big time it's just like it's just like being on a like in a car man like 100% designate a driver and drink all you want like it's not a exactly look man we all drink yeah it's like we just don't just be smart about it it's not a big deal don't get the wheel so yeah so I ended up I ended up getting into to DUI enforcement just cuz it was something like no one really liked it and I was like [ __ ] man like this for whatever reason the paperwork just made sense to me so I was like yeah man I could I could do this I can mess around with this that's cool usually when you get back in these Coes especially this time of year you know it's slick calm right yeah I don't see any activity whatsoever nope I don't see Bait fish I don't see bluegill I don't see bass busting or swirls so to me so me they ain't back here yet and we just caught pretty decent amount coming in so go head back out get a little bit deeper and exactly hit those outside Point yeah I like it there we go yeah there he is little guy little fella hey I'll take that little baby got him right yeah as soon as it landed good one yeah no not a good one but better oh yeah there we go he uh one one crank get this double up right here that thing in there oh Frank's got a decent one a little bit better double up action here guys little babies Cheers Cheers man that thing I must have hit him right in the head yeah like right it was one literally one catch fish anytime I want but to see somebody that comes out books a trip and to get them a big one y or lots of fish and just to see the excitement yeah that's just that's what it's all about it's it gives me so much joy to see that I had a guy um Richard Pratt he won the we had a bajio guide giveaway trip okay bajio sunglasses and uh took him out like two weeks ago to Roosevelt and he caught a 10 on a Buzz bait who yeah I've never I don't have anything double digits I was actually I was talking to rioo about fishing down in uh fishing down in Mexico Mexico dude he crushed it down there we got a a really good guide service that just put Liv scope on all their Mexico boats yeah talk about taking candy from a baby Jesus and uh Pro prob bass Adventures yeah okay yeah uh Justin SE SE and uh Josh Daniels they run it they do a phenomenal job and they I think it's like 1,200 bucks for like three or four days and it's all includ like everything's provided dude I would all the beers you can drink all the tacos you can eat all the fishing you want like holy [ __ ] yeah yeah it's 100% worth it [ __ ] crazy that nuts look at all them holy cow you want to tie on a drop shot yeah man absolutely all right give it try we t on the other Rod let's give it a try so I like 38s for the majority of the time mainly because that fast fall draws a reaction by it okay and you'll watch it on Liv scope they're going to follow it down really fast and then once it hits bottom you're just going to stop it and just barely twitch it yep you feel anything you've set the hook got it yeah super easy that I can do and then I'll put you on a worm I'll put on a robo worm like the robo worm it's a good one and we're going to throw I think throw the people's worm color it's a good color for this water Clarity and I like to tie it I get couple just overhand knots little safety Knot Just I mean they're supposed to break off that's the point of the clip yeah so you don't break off your whole thing but they break off too easily sometimes you know what I mean all right all right people's worm Robo let's get it you ready Frank's Frank's about to put the hammer down bro I will put the hammer down on some fish I can't believe how is that insane how easy it is to watch that oh there's hover stroll fish right there golly all right Frank about 20 feet in front of the trolling motor there you spot right here watch there's like 40 of them hey man I've had like the last three for three for you have what is that an Alabama Rig those boys in Alabama man I will show you what it's like here don't even know what I'm looking at here see we use stuff like that for like stripe bass and blue fish in salt water large mouth what we call umbrella rigs yeah it's an umbrella rig it was invented in Al for bass or where where it really took really took I've never seen that before really no when they're when they're like this on the bait it uh sometimes there's nothing better what I need to do cast it out oh see one came up I saw there he [Music] is man I I love and I never drop shot till I came out to Arizona really yep cuz it's it's not it's not really a technique well first of all I mean I left I left back east in the you know in the 9s so it wasn't but it just you know drop shot and probably didn't take off until the early 2000s and I just I never did it until I came out here wow and I came out here I was like what is this finesse fishing like this is like what when I just when not just ripping lips through lily pads and you know throwing 9 in worms and stuff like they do you know down south yeah totally different kind of fishing look at that you just see it hit the bottom there there he is hey come on up there buddy we go all these fish are hooked in the same exact spot in the mouth yeah just right up in the top of the mouth just perfect clean nice clean dude there was like 20 with that fish too that was crazy and yeah got him messing around man oh that's too much fun oh I'll got it show that to the camera that's that right there that's how you save your bait that thing was going to that thing was going to come off I'm going to rehab it for another fish just rehab can't just be throwing baits away yeah things are expensive so are you dropping that and then just like Slow Rolling it about back yeah so the the key to the hover stroll is you want to flip real flimy tip on a rod okay cuz you're trying to get that bait to roll side to side okay and so it's designed looks like like yeah it looks like a not in injured but just gives a real natural flash yeah that's why I'm shaking it and just really slowly reeling it so it's really stand almost in one you know water level down there stand down deep deep here they come look look look here they come following it God got it nice got it is that Co crazy that's a nice fish not bad man that is crazy how you how you can watch them on that it's pretty nuts it's fun holy cow what a blast there he is falling into him like that just like that man this this fishing's getting too good I'm I'm going to have to shut a layer yo [ __ ] put the stick to them you sure come here little dude God he ate that I'll put it wherever you want big Caster but a spinning rod and you you wer ly I did man I'm telling you I I can't throw a big cast Rod to save my life be sitting here if you can cast it like that it's fine that's kind of what I was thinking I think we kind of wore these guys out let's go see if we can find some bigger fish definitely got some other areas to check cool check it out let's check her out get on it man I noticed that a lot of this a lot of the stuff we're using is it's Japanese do they do a lot of bass fishing there or they do absolutely it's one of the most popular sports Japan no way yep cuz I mean obviously I think drop shotting came from Japan right yep so I then there's obviously a whole bunch of stuff Shaky Head stuff is all you know and there's all sorts of Japanese baits there's a lot of yeah there's a lot of Japanese techniques um Japan has basically one giant lake called Lake Bowa okay and uh it's where it's where the world record was tied 22 22 pounds 4 ounces yeah and uh they're big in bass fishing over there man that be huge a lot of the best developments in fishing come from Japan hey there one yeah there's one there we go come on over here buddy I'll take it take it after a dry spell weight popped off did it super weird little fish they good look at all this stuff tons of stuff to fish alamo's got a lot to offer I mean the water's down it's it's crazy when the water's up just I mean it's just insane there right there's so much cover in the water sticks bushes trees things things bass living oh yeah look at that that's a good one too dude that's a nice fish that's the biggest fish of the day hell yeah look at that oh yeah now we're talking son come on buddy there's a lot of them dude come here oh there we go now we're talking dude dude look at them look at them all whoa that's the school we were looking for best fish of the day right there man hopefully we'll top it all right let's get back on those fish don't step
