On May 11th, 2025, airport officers were dispatched to the Sunglass Hut in response to a report of a woman stealing a pair of Meta Ray-B band glasses. >> I like Sunglass Hut. Today's video comes from Police Release. New channel for us, but it looks good. So, we're going to give it a try. We're still doing body cam bingo. So, today we have uh I know my rights, obviously. Classic. Um throwing the race card out, however they throw it out. Uh, call your supervisor, asks for their phone, call my parents, name and badge number. Another one that we like, uh, saying that they're not resisting while they are actively resisting. And on the bottom is mention lawyer. So, those are our squares for today. Um, we're going to give it a try and see how it goes. >> We're going to watch it together, >> okay? >> And see where it went. It's either her or her. And she really didn't touch much. That's the lady she was with. >> All right. >> That's when she grabbed them. >> Oh, >> yep. There she go. So, she put them in her pocket. See? >> Wow. >> Put them in her pocket. >> Yep. We I got it. >> She may still be here. >> All right. >> She sticks them in her pocket and calls butt out the door >> cuz I had like four people in here at the same time. And I knew she took something cuz she went way too fast out of my store. >> Yep. How long ago was this? >> It was at that. >> Okay. Let me see if I can find her. >> All right. Thank you. >> I'll come back to take more information if I can't find her. Y >> All right. I like it. >> Okay. We got her on video stealing sunglasses door. She's over here to my left at Southwest Gate between 2 and 4. >> We got her on video. >> Right on. Got her and located her. That's good police work and fast. >> Hi, ma'am. I need to speak with you over here for a minute. You, too, ma'am. I need to speak to you over here. >> Okay, you can talk to me right here. >> All right, that's fine. >> Okay. >> Were you at the Sungas hut earlier? >> Looks just like you. Got you on video. >> You don't have me on video, do you? >> Oh, yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. >> Yes, I do. >> No, you don't. [clears throat] >> She took some Gucci, too. >> You can come and show me on camera where you >> Oh, yeah. Let's do that. Let's do that. >> Let's do that. >> Absolutely. I feel like if you watch any of the great crime movies, you know, you're watching The Italian Job or you're watching some other awesome movie with a great escape plan and the criminals plan this out and they're like, "We're going to commit this crime and then this is how we're going to get away." This criminal is dumb. She's dumb. There's not even another word I could use. She commits this crime and then has to stay in close vicinity to the area where she committed the crime because she's stuck in an airport and she can't go through security. So now she's stuck there and she can't go anywhere because her flight hasn't left. So she's there and the cops find her because she has zero forought into committing this crime. She's a terrible criminal >> and it's a way that child like the way the officers is killing people and stuff approach us in a better manner than me. >> Yeah. I I don't know what you >> I don't get it either, but uh I want to show you the video. >> It's like a statement of ignorance right off the bat. >> Exactly. And we have you grabbing some stuff and put them in your pocket. So, let's show you. >> She glasses and I picked up. She told me to put them back and I handed them to her. >> That's fair enough. And then and then you'll show that dialogue when we do the video. Let's go ahead and proceed, please. >> Okay. First of all, >> here's your stuff. >> Watch because that's the flight that I'm taking before. >> Okay. So, >> might not make it. >> Would you like to bring that stuff with you when we go down there? >> Yeah, I can grab my stuff. >> Yeah. See, that's the thing. You can't leave your stuff by yourself. >> Listen, you can't leave it by itself. Even though someone's watching, it's it's got to be yours. You can't just leave it there. have someone that's watching. >> And then I was on my way to the restroom to change my tampon. Can I change my tampon? >> No, absolutely not. >> So, I want to change my tampons and then you guys can gladly wait. Yes, there's a restaurant down here. >> No, she can't go now cuz we discard. >> Yep. >> I'm sorry. >> I said I'm in the city. I'm not going nowhere. You don't have to be. I don't have >> Well, here's a concern I have. If you have any property that doesn't belong to you at this time, this is a good time to go ahead and discard it. So, >> let's look at the video first. >> Okay. I'm about to pay attention. Then we can go. You can wait right here until I >> No, you're under an investigation right now. You're being detained. >> No. And I'm bleeding. We have a bathroom downstairs. >> Well, I'm bleeding. >> We have a bathroom downstairs for you. >> I have to make it home to my grandmother. >> I know. We have a bathroom, man. >> We have a bathroom downstairs. >> I have >> It's private and won't even be anywhere. >> Okay. Well, go get a woman. Go get a woman cuz you can't tell me I can't pee and I'm letting you get a private bathroom. We're giving you a private bathroom right now. >> A private bathroom. >> I don't trust that. Let me use the bathroom where everybody around. >> Is that a wig in her hands? >> You know what? You you know why we're talking, right? >> No, I don't know. But I have you told her yet. >> I need to pee and I told her that we have >> We can address it. >> She's been alleged and that we have >> So, can you take that out for me? Whatever that was that was taken from the store. Show it to me before you go inside because I don't know what you're going to be doing in there. >> I'm going to go use the restroom. >> So, how can I trust you that? >> Absolutely not. >> Yeah. He's sitting up here saying me and mama stole something. Mama gone. I'm trying to go pee and change my tent. They making it a big deal. >> Well, theft is a crime >> and they I like >> she's been she's been accused of shoplifting and we have it on video. So what's the >> So she wants to go say she used the bathroom, but the problem is is that we can't control everything that she has. So we're going to bring her into the private bathroom downstairs. >> Totally legitimate response. Like that is a request that is absolutely fine. >> That's peing on the same line as me. >> Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying for you. >> I love She's moving her wig around. >> I'm about to go peeing. Y'all can stand right there. >> You're under investigation detention right now. You can't do anything like that right now. You're going to go to a secure >> use the bathroom or I'm telling you you can use I'm telling you you can use the bathroom and the secure location >> and it's just right downstairs. >> You cannot just sit here and tell me that I got you're under an investigative detention right now. You are not free to go. You may use the bathroom in our private area and this person who thinks that you have trust may escort you, but you're going to go into a private escorted area with your own privacy. >> Sorry. >> So, I am allowing you and giving you the immediate opportunity to use the bathroom. Do you understand that? >> Now, if this further, I may have to put you in handcuffs. Yep. >> Exactly. >> So, would you prefer not be in handcuffs or handcuffs? >> But the [ __ ] got me. I don't got to do [ __ ] like this. They got set up stereotype. >> I'm going to go with stereotype and race cards the same thing. >> So I won't miss my flight. >> So we're in an airport, which is a pretty secure location. Everything is video monitored there. Everywhere. Everywhere. and you go into a store, try to shoplift some glasses, get caught, like that real you're living dangerously. Like you're you get caught. You're missing your flight. Now you're stuck in a city where you're not from in jail with zero resources all because you absolutely had to steal and then lie and double down lie. Call the cops racist. say that they're stereotyping all while you're lying, lying, lying, lying, lying. Like you're you're living life on the edge there, ma'am. >> All right. So, I'm going to ask you a quick question. So, saw you on the camera grab an item. So, where is it? >> I don't have it to her. I'm going to tell you the truth. >> So, so where'd you put it? >> I put it back. She I handed it to her. >> No, you didn't. >> We watch We watched the video. >> You can check me and everything. I don't have no glasses and I swear to God, I wouldn't I wouldn't even risk it. You don't understand because you don't understand and you will be hearing. >> I know I know but I know but I hear me out but you didn't let me finish. So I'm going to give you some information. We watched the video camera. We did see you take the glasses. We did see you put in your >> persons and we saw you walk out. We didn't see you go back in and give it back to her. So [music] my next question is where is it? Where did you put it? >> I handed them back to her point to the video. You walk out. >> Tell me. Okay. So where's that? >> So So I'm asking you where did you put it? >> I didn't put them nowhere. Search her back. According to the video footage, >> well, I gave them back to her. >> Not in the video footage. So, she was I might have a lookalike or something, but I don't have no glasses. >> It says you see Jose Bulldogs, you got blue shoes. Exactly. >> But you can't hold me accountable for something that I don't got. >> So, we could because on video and it shows you walking out with it, never come back. You never gave it back to her. >> She said, "When you touch your glasses, give them back to me for sanitary purposes." I handed her the glasses back for her to >> You know what? This could be easily [ __ ] We're just going to look at the video and then you can recount your side of the story and then we'll be done. >> But if you said you already see the camera, then what is you taking me back over there for? I don't have no glasses. >> I want you to explain to me that, hey, no, this it looks like that, but if you notice at this frame, I passed the glasses back to the attendant. Explain it to me. Pro show me in the video where you did all that so we can get this clear. >> Story short. So what are y'all trying to do? Take me to jail? >> I'm not trying to do anything. I'm trying to investigate this allegation and >> so you handcuff somebody now. No, >> we're still investigating my fight. I don't have time to. So I'm just trying. >> So the more we keep talking. >> Don't steal things. >> We have to get you on. >> You already seen the camera. So >> y'all so so show the process. So you going to go set sunglasses. Show where you were, how you did it, and how you candid back. big box stores like Walmart, like Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, all these big stores deal with ridiculous amounts of shrinkage. Their shrinkage, unlike jumping into a cold pool, costs everyone money. So, they're getting that money back from things that people steal by raising your prices. So, people that are stealing things cost every single person that's a consumer money. So, shame on this lady for costing me more money. I love sunglasses. I'm a big fan of Oakley. Um, I before the days of online shopping, I used to buy all my glasses at Sunglass Hut. I'm a big fan. I've shoed there for years. Um, shame shame on this lady for costing me more money. >> Cuz you're telling I can't visually picture it. I'm not up there. You actually said you told me that this is what you did. >> I picked some glasses up and she was like, >> "So, show him upstairs." No, you didn't. >> And she was like, "Here, if you can't get it in just you know this is America and you get to face your accuser >> and we're going to get this thing straight. >> Facing your accuser is kind of for the court of law but >> what went in my pocket. >> Okay. >> So let's go ahead and talk to her then. Come on. >> I'm going to look. Go ahead. >> Okay. >> So come on in. >> Excuse me. Man, when I picked those glasses up, you may have thought that I put glasses in my pocket, but I had a vape in my hand. This song actually on camera right here. >> And I got the baby in my hand. You seen me put >> You seen me put something in my pocket, but it was my baby. >> The lady that was with you. She took them, too. >> Well, I don't know what anybody else has going on. >> She's got it, too. And she concealed them under her shirt. You put them in your bag. >> I did not put How can I put anything in this bag? >> You want to watch the video? >> Yeah. Let's go ahead and show her cuz she's saying that she couldn't explain it. >> Show me. Show me putting it in. >> She says that she didn't put the glasses on. And if it don't show me, >> I'm going to sue you. You know what? I might have to make that a card. I'm going to sue you. Needs to be a box on the bingo card. >> You don't have to use any foul language. We're all civil. >> Use my phone so I can call my lawyer. >> I'm not sure. I'm not sure where your phone is. >> Oh god. You want some extra loud ass [ __ ] on some racism? >> Nope. Race card again. >> No, I'll never come back here. Give get my identity off your phone. That's another lawsuit. >> Okay, just go ahead and bring up bring up the video. >> Get me off your phone. You don't have my authorization to have >> Well, actually, technically, she asked for her phone to call her lawyer. I'm going to go that with a double ask her phone >> from the camera. You can't record the camera. No, girl, you didn't record the tape. The more we argue, the longer it's going to take. >> No, because she pissing me off cuz she really [ __ ] >> Let her do her thing so we can get you moving. The more you talk and I'll show you the video. >> No, they said I have rights to be in here. >> They can show it to you though whenever they >> I'll say I have right to be in here. I know my right. >> We get to call your supervisor. We have it in two different angles. >> Show you guys the video. >> You're under arrest for theft, for shoplifting. Turn around, ma'am. Please. >> So, I'm missing my flight. >> I don't know if I don't know when your flight is, but turn around, please. >> My flight is at 6:40, but you she Okay. I know. We don't want to deal with it. >> Okay. >> No, you're under arrest now for retail fab. >> Perfect. >> It's a misdemeanor. You'll be >> a rattle. >> What? >> See if they find these glasses. That's what I want to see. >> There you go. >> You found those. >> Tampering with evidence as well. >> Tampering with evidence. Roger. Are those it? >> So, she dumped them in the bathroom. Isn't it funny that as soon as she's contacted by the police, she's got to go to the bathroom. It is It's like cop 101 is don't let people go to the bathroom. Don't do it because that's where you flush your paraphernalia, you get rid of your drugs, your We don't let them go into the bathroom if they're a female. So, they have to let her go. there's probably not a female there because, you know, the the cadre of officers in an airport is fairly small. Um, so they probably don't have a female on staff there at that time. They got to let her go in, but they're smart and they take her into a controlled bathroom. Good for them. Cuz if she were to go into a public bathroom, she could dump those and go, "Those aren't mine. There's 100 people have been in this bathroom in the last 20 minutes. Those aren't I didn't do that." But when you take her into a controlled bathroom, it's perfect. So, credit to these officers for doing a great job and bringing her to a controlled bathroom. Um, where obviously that's exactly what she did. She tried to dump her stolen item. They found it. Good job on them. >> Okay. Ma'am, you've been charged with shoplifting and tampering with evidence. >> These are demonstration glasses, but they're still the same price as a live working. >> Perfect. >> Okay. Well, can I find my family so I can let them know? So, she lied that entire time that she didn't do it. >> Record that though. >> Yeah, I'll let him deal with that. >> So, I'm about to go to jail down here. >> You should. >> That's what it is. >> You should. >> Are y'all serious? >> It's a misdemeanor. >> Just a second. >> Cuz I don't think she's going to pursue the uh the felony. >> Would you do give me a ticket or you taking me to jail? >> Oh, yeah. >> Oh, now she's crying. >> We can do that. Would you? >> So, are you taking me to jail? Write me a ticket. Not sure at this point to find it. I'm going to let him go. >> We lied for the last 15 minutes >> and I had the sons waiting on me to get home. >> So, who's your friend in the red shirt? That's grandma. >> And that's the She had the red and blue Gucci she put under her shirt and then she'll put it. >> You see her where it goes on shirt bag? >> Yeah, I showed in the It's I broke it in the two videos just because it policized on me so I had to restart it. That's where she put seven. >> I love it. >> So, am I going to jail or can I get a ticket? >> Go to jail. >> You need to go to jail cuz you're a liar. >> Not in Chattam County. It's It's not a ticket. >> So, you're all going to get booked. I hate to say it and I'm going to be bright as possible. Sometimes actions got consequences. >> Yes, they do. >> And you're a liar. >> Unfortunately, hey, listen. >> In Oklahoma, if it's under $1,000, they write you a ticket. >> Then don't leave Oklahoma. >> This is not Oklahoma. This is Chattam County, Georgia. George is different. >> Can my brother pay some money right now before for me to not get booked in? >> Nope. >> Can he pay? >> Yeah, he can probably take that. >> Can Can my brother pay right now where I want? >> Not right now. >> What do you want to do with uh grandma? Try to locate and uh recover the profit property? >> Yep. >> Okay. So, um would you like to give this to your brother? >> Yeah. >> I love that. Oh, I love it so much. >> I can't I can't believe that y'all trying to put me in jail. Like, why would I not? You're steal. You stole something. >> When you steal things, you go to jail. >> Like I can't get a ticket. >> No. >> Maybe if you would have saved some money from those ridiculous eyelashes. You could have just bought those glasses. Been fine. >> So the other person just get away free. Y'all blame me. >> Oh, now it's it's got to be someone else. >> She said that I was in there with somebody. >> Oh, yeah. We don't have her. But the flight hadn't left yet. probably shoot, right? >> What's that? >> Who she who she related to you in the red? >> I don't know her, but she said that it was two of us in there on the camera. >> She just went in there and happened to steal something. Had no idea who it was. >> But we're going to look for her now. >> Go to jail. >> Get my >> Well, they won't let you take it to jail. >> Okay. I didn't get to hit it. >> So, that's what I said. That's something you're trying to get hit. >> The woman was charged with tampering with evidence and felony shoplifting. Her companion managed to board her flight and escape, leaving her behind. >> Right now, doesn't cost you a scent. Click subscribe. Join the channel.
