That's not an option in this case because there's a criminal investigation that's being conducted. So, you no longer have the right to say no. It's not like she was just walking down the road and he had a random contact. This is now he's now building a case with articulable facts um for a DUI investigation. So needing someone's ID is an important part of that. So this isn't just getting a name just to get a name, but it's part of an investigation.
