Why would she believe kicking an officer wouldn't have consequences? >> Terrible idea. >> Turn off the car. >> Turn off the car. >> Today's video comes from Body Cam Leak. We've used them before. They've done really well for us. We're going to see how well they do with Body Cam Bingo. So, this is a card that we haven't gone to bingo on yet. I'm hoping today's going to be the day. Let's watch it and see what we got. >> All right. Driver's license. Proof of insurance. Is this your car? >> Sir. Yeah. >> Okay. I need your driver's license. >> Oh, >> maybe with two hands. >> What's this you just handed me? >> Put your arm down. It's going to get tired. Do you have any guns in your purse? Okay, then use both hands to get your ID out cuz I don't need your vape pen. That's not your driver's license. [Laughter] Where you coming from? H sometimes you just run into one of those. >> How about what's your name? >> They're not required to talk to why I stopped you. >> Do you speak English? >> This doesn't look like the most advantageous spot for a vehicle to come to a stop. Uh, and like officer comes out immediately says, "Hey, turn off your car." Pretty aggressively. So, I'm wondering what the stop sequence looked like. Um, and if it was like prolonged, if she's, you know, didn't come to a stop right away or committed other violations after he turned his lights on, cuz he comes out pretty aggressive initially. And I'm wondering if that the catalyst was of that was her previous poor driving. dumping out like a piece of luggage. >> There we go. >> If she had an extra wallet, she'd be able to find it right away. >> Do you remember what I asked you? >> Anything you want? Well, I asked you for your driver's license and you handed me a vape pen and then you dumped out your purse and then you looked at your driver's license and didn't hand it to me. So, that's where I'm at. >> Is this your car, Caitlyn? >> Hello. >> She doesn't have to talk to you. >> Do you know why I stopped you? You made a right on red at Hillyard Madison, Florida. It went through the red light at McKinley. Then you turned on the riverside. Didn't use a turn signal. Then you started making a left turn and then turned your signal on kind of like as you were making your left turn. Made a wide right turn around the curve. And I smell alcohol. >> You can't tell me where you're coming from. You're handing me a vape pen instead of a driver's license. So I'm going to have you step out. We're do some field sobriety tests. Okay. >> That's probably not going to happen. >> No, thank you. >> No thank you. Okay. Go ahead and step on out cuz you're under arrest for DUI. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> It's what it looks like. >> Do you want to get out or you want me to help you out? >> No thank you. >> No thank you. It's not really an optional. >> Yeah. No thank you isn't. That's what you say when someone says, "Do you want the salt?" Can you stand up barely? >> At least there's someone else there. That's always good. I've been in this officer's shoes a lot where you walk up to a car and you immediately recognize that someone's showing those signs and symptoms that are consistent with impairment. Right off the bat, you could see it, you could smell it. Um, you could just tell by the way they move, those weird actions, uh, that lack of manual dexterity, like poor lethargic movements. And it looks like that officer recognizes this immediately and knows, "Hey, this is going to be a a DUI investigation." And then when he's like, "Hey, get out. Let's do some FSTs." And she's like, "No, thank you, friend." He doesn't need FSTs, especially when she refuses. there is more than enough just in between the driving that he describes and what we see in this body cam video um to place to very I mean confidently place her under arrest. Um and I love the fact that he didn't he didn't beat around the bush. As soon as she said no, he's like that's it. We're done. We're going straight to cuffs. I really like it. >> Those too tight. They seem okay. thing illegal on you. Needles, knives, bazookas. >> You guys can >> What? >> Oh, okay. Hi. How are you? >> Good. How are you? >> I'm lovely. >> Glad. >> Bring your foot out here. >> Oh, there's two of us. See, >> you're going to lose all day long. >> Yeah. >> I don't like jokes. I'm going to hobble. Give me your other foot. >> There we go. >> We're going to hobble you. >> I like a hobble. >> Yeah. Kicking policeman is funny to you. >> Huh? >> No. >> Makes for good video. She appears lethargic in the car. She's moving slow. Um, she doesn't get out. They got to kind of pull her out. She's standing there kind of slumped over and then it goes from 0 to 60. Um, she looks like she probably tried to kick the the officer next to him um as they were searching her and sent into arrest. Um, she ends up on the ground. They used the hobble um or rip restraint uh which I love. It's all it is is it's a device with a loop on it that you could pull tight around someone's ankles and it it keeps them from kicking you. Um, we I carry one in my car. I really like it. I you when you need one, you need it. And uh I always like having one available. And so, but this goes from 0 to 60 pretty quick. It's just a great example of just because in the moment someone seems like they um they're not going to be a threat or that they may be somewhat passive, that that could switch gears in an instant. >> I mean, it's just a joke. You being drunk and stupid is not a joke. >> You said, "Can you not take a joke?" >> Obviously. Yeah. >> Not good for you either. >> What's that? It's >> not good for you either. >> I know. So, I don't appreciate you kicking ass. >> Oh my god. >> So, now we're going to hog tie you like a dog. >> Anyway, we hog tie dogs. >> We hog tie calves. Like a roping calf. >> You want to walk to the car? You want to act like an animal and get carried? We'll just >> Well, you just tied her feet together, so she really can't walk anywhere. There we go. >> Here we go. >> Lakewood. And in you go. >> That was antilimactic. >> What's that? >> Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. >> There you go. >> I'll go up for your safety. >> Be all right. >> You'll be all right. Yeah. Yes. >> Go a little bit like on my wrist. Please. It's really hard. Please. Please. Please. I'm really sorry. Please. >> What complains about handcuffs? >> You're right. You're right. YOU'RE RIGHT. YOU'RE RIGHT. YOU'RE RIGHT. PLEASE. >> WOW. >> Like all of a sudden she came to life. No, I'm not dealing with her. >> So, the beginning of this video goes by pretty quick from stop to her being in cuffs to her being placed in the back of the car. Um, and then you look and you see how much video is left from the time when she goes in the car and you know it's just, you know, it's going to something's going to happen like they're not just going to have boring video for that long. Um, so she goes from being a sloth to like it's like she gets it's like her energy drink kicks in and she becomes animated and starts yelling and crying and doing all this stuff. I mean, it's like it's like it's two different people, but it's all the same person. And sometimes that's what alcohol does to people. >> You're right. I'm sorry. Please. PLEASE. I'M REALLY SORRY. PLEASE. I'm really sorry. Please. >> Okay. >> I just want my mom. Please. Please. Please. It hurts. It hurts. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. >> It really hurts. >> Please. Please. Please. Please. I want my mom. >> How old are you? >> I want my mom. I want my mom. I want my mom. I want my mom. >> So, she wants her mom there. She She wants mom there at the scene. And then she wants the officer to drive her home. And I bet she lives with mom. I don't know if I'd be wanting to drag my parents into my aggravated assault on law enforcement slash DUI arrest and then want them involved in it. Like that's that's not who I'm looking for right now. Like I'm looking for this is like best friend area. But getting your parents involved in the culmination of all of your poor decisions for the night and you ending up in cuffs in the back of a police officer's car. Not the time when I'm playing the mom card. Just throwing it out there. I want my I want my mom. I want my mom. >> You want your what? >> I want my mom. I want my mom. >> Okay. Well, maybe she can come and get you out of jail. Yeah. No, >> I'm not trying to be bad. I just want my mom. >> If she answers the phone for you in an hour, YOU CAN GO HOME. NO, I WANT HER. NO, I WANT MY MOM. >> That's not the way things work. >> I want my mom. I want my mom. I didn't do anything wrong. >> I just want my mom. >> I heard about that. >> Okay. >> I want my mom. I want my mom. I want >> Okay. >> Justice. I want my mom. >> We want justice, too. >> No. I want my mom. >> Off. I want my mom. >> You can't tell me to do anything. I want my mom. I want that. >> Well, you can call her from the station. >> No you. >> No, thank you. >> Let me out of the >> I like this guy. >> Oh, here. >> No, she already told me to off and she wants an attorney. So, I don't even think I'm going to read her rights. way. >> Good. Ask for an attorney. Ask for an attorney's not on there today. >> Mentions lawyer. We'll go with that one. We're close enough. We'll round it up. >> Take me home. >> Take you home. >> Take me home. >> Thank you. >> Just going to sit here and be bored and annoying. I'm >> sure you're good at that. >> My fingers, please. [Music] Hello >> friend. >> Friend. >> If not friend, why friend shaped? >> This is fun. >> That's nice. Do you know how to get to my house? >> I know how to get to your house. No. >> What do you do all day? That's very cold. >> Drive around. >> My hands, please. >> No, we're not undoing your handcuffs. Can we undo my hands, please? >> Undo my hands. >> Very annoying. >> Sorry. You want me to drive you home? >> Well, you're refusing to drop me off. >> Correct. Cuz you're under arrest, so you go to jail. >> Hey. >> Yes. >> Hey. >> Hey. Hey. >> Let me out. >> We will when they come get us. >> No. Hey. >> Hey. Look at me. Look at me. Look at Look at me. >> I'm the captain now. >> I'm the captain now. >> Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. >> Pay attention to me. >> Look at me. Look at me. >> I'm looking at you, too. >> What? >> Think of them. >> Think of what? >> Take this off. Take this off. Look at me. LOOK AT ME. LOOK at me. >> Why are you so angry? >> Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. Don't be scared. I have to be a scared dad. Don't be >> Don't be scared because I don't know which one of your personalities I'm talking to. >> Me. Please, please, please, please, please. You know what white people do. Please, please, please look at me. YOU KNOW WHAT WHITE PEOPLE DO. PLEASE. >> You know what white people do. It's the same as Asians and >> blacks and whites, Native Americans and >> Pacific Islanders and I think like we're all just humans. >> Please take this off of me. Please please please take this please. Please please please take this off of me. Please take this off of me. Please take this off of me. I don't want to do this. Please take this off of me. I can't handle this. Please take this off of me. >> Take one off. >> Look at my Look at my hands. Look at behind my back. Please. Please look at behind my back. >> The handcuffs. Once we get inside, those will come up. >> Mhm. >> MOM, >> SHE can't hear you. >> Caitlyn, are you done kicking at us? >> Can you help me? >> Are you done kicking at us? >> Are you going to help me? I'm going to help you. I'm going to take those off if you quit kicking. If you tell me you're going to keep carry in. >> If you're going to tell me you're going to keep kicking, >> you're the one >> I'm going to keep kicking. >> Okay. Well, then jump on out here. >> I really don't know how to jump on out without being rude. >> Stand up. >> Thank you. Stand up. >> Trying to It's difficult. >> I know. I'm going to loosen that up. Well, >> just stand up. >> We're going to do it this way. Stand up. >> Oh, wait, wait, hold on. I can stand up all by myself. >> I know. I have to hold you, though. >> Yeah, but >> cuz you're under custody. >> Mhm. Yep. That's true. >> Do that. >> And do what? >> You're under arrest for DUI. So, >> yeah, but you're kicking at us. >> Okay. >> Stand up. >> Can >> just get the restraint chair. We'll just put her in there and wheel her in her. Uh, >> sir, >> it's ridiculous. Throw off an act. You're 35. Sir, I am acting my >> Yeah, I can tell. >> Let's go. >> That's not >> what Look at >> this guy is going to be so aggravated. >> Do right now. >> You can baby step. Let's go. >> What do you want me to do? >> Walk. >> Okay, >> let's go. >> Walk inside the building. Come on. >> There we go, >> sir. >> Baby steps. Come on. >> I'm >> We'll put you IN THE CHAIR. I'M NOT A DOG. >> WILL YOU KICK ME? >> LET ME GO. >> I won't do it. >> The woman was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and DUI. >> Good body cam bingo. We had two. All I needed was for her to ask for a supervisor and we would have had a bingo up and down. Um but complaints about handcuffs and mentions lawyer, court, lawsuit, all that stuff.
