Close the door, please. Thank you. >> Listen to me. No, you're getting out of the car now or we're getting out forcefully. >> Don't do Don't touch. >> On September 17th, 2022, an officer with the Edmund Police Department in Oklahoma conducted a traffic stop on a white vehicle after noticing it speeding and weaving through traffic. >> So, we found this video and ended up being like on a pirate channel. The channel that they took it off of is real body cams. So, that's where you can go find this video the real way. So, we're going to watch it. We haven't seen it yet, but we wanted to make sure that we're giving credit to the right people. The other thing we're going to do, body cam bingo is on deck. So, we've got all the squares. We're going to see how many we can check today. Stay tuned. Good evening. >> Hi. >> I stopped you for a couple reasons. Okay. So, you were all over the road at one point. You were straddling the lanes and you you uh switched lanes without signaling and then whenever you made it over here to the 30 m per hour zone, you were still going over 50 mph. Okay. >> That was a good read. >> You have your driver's license and proof of insurance. >> I don't believe that. All right. >> Okay. Well, I smell alcohol coming from the car. How much did you have to drink? >> Okay. Okay. >> You want to be truthful or you want to step out of the car so we can run some tests? >> So, I've done a DUI or two in my career. One of the big things that we like to look for is eye contact. When you talk to someone, you're looking at them. This suspect officer goes up to the driver's side window and it doesn't look like she ever makes eye contact with them. Um, in police work, we call that a clue. It's in a clue handbook. So immediately this officer picks up on it um because he says, "Hey, I believe you're impaired. I can smell the odor of alcohol." Um so he is right. He's straight into a DUI investigation. And I love that. Um I don't like beating around the bush. I want to get someone out of a car. I don't know what's in there. Um especially on something like this, like, "Hey, get out." And as soon as she says no, it's game on. >> I'm not going to step out the car whatsoever. >> Okay. Well, right now I do believe you are under the influence and I'd really like for you to step out of the car so I can just >> I understand what you would like. >> Okay. Asking you to step out of the car is a lawful order. >> It is. >> Okay. Right now, I need for you to step out of the car. >> You tell someone to get out of a car in the course of an investigation, which is what a traffic stop is, they have to. Um, Supreme Court case law, it's Pennsylvania versus Mims. we get to direct um the driver of a vehicle, the occupant of a vehicle um based on on what we're doing and the investigation that we're conducting. Um this guy obviously says, "Hey, you've got all these moving violations," which is great reasonable suspicion. Um the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has listed multiple of the violations that he says as possible clues of impairment. He gets there, she obviously she looks impaired, she smells like alcohol. Like this is a textbook DUI stop. Um, and he wants her out of the car. She has to come out. And when soon as she says no, game on. She got that blank drunky drunkerton stare. So >> that's a female. >> Step out of the car. >> Um, for what? I believe >> he already said that. >> And I need you to step out of the car so that I could assess you. >> Close the door, please. Thank you. >> Listen to me. No, you're getting out of the car now or we're getting out forcefully. >> Because I told you don't touch on >> and out you come. I love it. >> I would believe that these two officers have probably worked together before. Um, immediately when the driver is like, "Nope, not going to get out." Um, officer on the passenger side opens up the passenger side door. Now, the driver has to split her attention between two people, which I really like. Um because as she turns and starts to talk and tell why she's not going to get out of the car to the officer on the passenger side, officer on the driver's side opens up the door. So now the suspect has to fight two people on two different sides of her. It doesn't turn out well for her. >> Nice arm sweep. >> I like it. >> No, get on it. No, I'm not getting on my face. Back up. >> I will get on my I will get on. >> Get on your stomach now. Get on your belly. Let me get your hand. >> Get on your stomach. >> Okay. >> We're fighting. We're trying to get one. >> I don't give a [ __ ] about fighting for like trying to get black people. I don't give a I asked you to get out of the car. >> No, you didn't. >> No, you didn't. Yeah, you did. 41 me and then I'm going to drive back your head full train and >> I love it. >> Your arm stop >> learning curve is like this. >> I'm learning. >> You give me >> I told you many times. >> Give me a >> Oh, give me a lawyer. >> Many times. >> Give me a lawyer. >> I told you many times. >> Mentions lawyer >> and you assaulted my >> No, you didn't. No, I [screaming] did. I did. No, I didn't. You punched me in the >> [laughter] >> We're not arguing. I told you to get out of the car. >> Quiet intention. >> We told you to get out of the car. >> Get out. I said if you don't get out, I will have to get you out. >> I came out here then. >> You did not hear that. >> Whatever. >> I don't give a >> clearly not. >> Don't grab me. Don't grab me. >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. Are you done? Are you done? Do you want to lose your job? >> We're not losing our job. >> Lose your job. >> Cuz you're breaking my arms. You hit me in the face. You grabbed my neck. You grabbed my shirt. >> You're clawing my arms. And you refused to settle down. >> You pulled me out the car. >> Exactly. >> You refused to get out. >> We can do that. >> No, you did multiple times. We are not going to argue. We are not going to sit here and wait. >> I'm hurting my arm. >> Are you done? >> Are you You're done. >> Are you done? >> Are you done cutting my arm? Are you done with your >> Are you done hurting my arm? >> Because you hurt my arm. >> How? >> No one's One person's touching her. This might be the first video that we did from an agency in Oklahoma. Um Oklahoma's got some real crime. They've got a ton of drug trafficking. They're they've got some legit big agencies. Uh, somehow we just haven't found a video from them yet until today. So, this happens in Oklahoma. Obviously, there's terrible people there like there are everywhere else and these officers are going to encounter. >> Wait, wait. Can you be handsome? >> Yeah. I wish you would be. >> No. Back. >> Can you just back up here? >> Can you back up for a moment? >> Hey, the car. >> Widen your stance. I have to pat you for weapons. Do you have anything illegal that's going to hurt me? >> No. [screaming] >> That's a simple yes. >> Yo, I always do this to black people, bro. >> I swear to God, I hate this. >> You do this. >> Hey, I'm trying to >> ma'am. I'm trying to make sure you don't have any weapons. I want to listen to me. >> Okay, look. We just had a fight. >> Hey, you just hurt my arm. Ma'am, >> you hurt me. How am I supposed to >> stop talking? You are not shut up because I'm not going to shut up. >> Stop. >> I'm not going to shut up. >> I am trying to explain everything to you. You hit me in the face. You grab my neck. I am trying to be nice and make sure you don't have weapons on you. >> I'm really back up. >> Back up. >> You grabbed me out the car unlawfully. >> I think it was unlawful. >> Can y'all get in the car? We're going to pull you from the other side if you don't get in. >> Just pull her. >> No. >> Get in. We don't want to have to pull you. I need >> Why would you not? There we go. >> Your phone number since you got me back here. >> What's your phone number? I need it. Do you want to be able to get your car? I have to have your phone number so you can get your car at a later time. 627 to be able to get your car back at a later time. It's going to be because we can't leave it here. If you want your vehicle back, I need your phone number. >> What's your name? >> Officer Praa. >> Officer Carta. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Now, can I please get your phone number? >> So, Officer Praa, let me ask you this. >> Okay. You have two more chances to give me your phone number. >> I'm asking you a question as to regards. So, I'm trying to figure out what's been going on. >> What is your question? >> What's going on? Why did y'all pull me out of my car? >> Okay. My partner, >> drunky drunker >> phone number or you're not going to get your car back. >> Do you want your car back? It's as simple as that. We don't You're not going to get it back unless you give me your phone number. >> 641. >> I don't believe I I don't believe cops and you're not getting it. I don't believe cops. I don't believe cops. says Texas because I'm black and I don't believe >> words. I'm sorry. >> So, >> imagine just being a victim of everything. >> Eric, that'll be great. >> The suspect was transported to jail to begin the booking process. >> I could be sex trafficked. I don't know what is going on. >> You're going to jail? >> I don't think >> I'm going to jail because of what? As salt battery, >> do you I'm sorry. What? >> Okay. >> Police officer grabbed me by the throat. >> I have to I have to read this. >> You expect me to be calm about it? I'm a black female. >> Race car again. >> And your police officer grabbed me by the throat. >> You said that a lot now. Okay. In the end, prosecutors filed charges against her for driving under the influence along with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer. >> Body cam bingo. Didn't get it. We got race. Now, if we had a whole line of just race card, we would have had a bingo because she mentions it a whole bunch of times. Whatever. Um, she also mentions lawyer because of course, you know, she doesn't want to take responsibility for her actions and lawyers are great for that. Um, so didn't get it today, but we're going to keep trying. The other thing, I got all this merch. I'm wearing it. Shirts, hats, empathetic cups. It's all on our website. QR codes right here.
