I live like a mile from here. >> Now he wants to listen because I got beer cans up. But shut the up. You're for sure. >> It's probably going to be best to step out of the vehicle. >> I'm not stepping out of the vehicle. >> I understand that. But you got to understand that if you refuse to step out and it's just going to complicate things even further and it's going to be bad on you. >> No, it's not bad on me. >> Yes, it is. >> I want to go home. If anything, it seemed to escalate it. >> Will you quit holding me so tight? >> Spread your feet for me. This is a awesome movie >> for a goddamn speeding ticket. >> This could have been all been avoided if you just listened. >> I did listen. >> No, you did not. >> It wasn't avoided. >> Get your hand off of me. >> How you feeling? >> Terrible. >> You hurt? >> I am. >> What's hurt? >> My arms. Cuz I don't drive the goddamn car. But you didn't ask me that. Do you know how stupid this is when there's dealers everywhere and you catch an 82y old woman for speeding and take her to jail? Oh, this is a real good thing for your time. Isn't that >> Joyce was charged with resisting arrest with violence, battery on a police officer, and aggravated assault on a police officer. Speaking of Karen's facing karma, this speeding lady got what was coming to her after she escalated a traffic stop. I see it says 55. >> You You were doing 80. >> Give me your keys. Little did the responding officer know that the person behind the wheel was no ordinary citizen. Rather, a dumb Karen who, for reasons only known to her, thought she was immune to the law. >> Ma'am. >> Yes, sir. >> How you doing? >> I'm doing well. How are you? >> You got your license, registration, proof of insurance? >> I'm trying to find it right now. >> Here's my license. >> Thank you, ma'am. I'm just going to go back here and run this. Make sure everything's good on our end. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. So, just hang tight and see if you can't find that registration. All right. >> Yeah. For a moment, the officer almost assumed that this traffic stop would pass by with no incident. But he barely stepped away for a second when he realized that the car's ignition was still on, which didn't [music] spell any good news. >> No, no, no, no, no. >> Just Just hand me your keys. Just hand me your keys. Give me your keys. >> Give me your keys, >> ma'am. Give me your keys. >> Give me your keys. >> Give me your keys. >> He has my keys. What do you >> You're under arrest. >> Arrest for what? >> I'm not understanding what you're talking about at all. >> I haven't been drinking, sir. >> It was apparent to the officers that this Karen saw no issue with her ratchet behavior. Her ignorance and obnoxiousness were practically soaking up the whole atmosphere. But regardless of her demeanor, the deputies continued to deal with her professionally. even though she clearly didn't deserve it. >> This female, she's being do you have anything illegal on your person that she doesn't know about what she does? >> No. Okay. >> Do you have anything on you? You have anything concealed in your undergarments or in your pockets? >> No. Okay. I'm going to check. Okay. >> Separate your feet for me. >> You ask me to separate them. I am. You don't have to kick my ankle. >> Okay. All right. She's good. Is she going in your car? Guy, do you want to put her in ours? >> Yes. >> It's right over here. >> Can she sit in your >> Absolutely. >> Can I please a not yet over here? >> Can I get my stuff, please? >> Nope. >> We're going to go around to the passenger side. The officers thought that that would be the end of it until the baby Karen's uncle arrived on the scene to support his niece's nasty behavior. >> You got to give me a call. You right there. You can tell me why I'm just trying. You don't have to. You right. You don't have to. >> You don't have to. We're not going to do this >> tit for t. All right. I came down here to ask you a question. Maybe you was the wrong one I should have talked to when I got out. >> All right. >> Okay. You can, >> sir. Sir, what? Sir, what can I help you with? >> Yes. I'm trying to figure out I just got a call. my niece traveling from Pasco back to Sarasota being arrested and I drove all the way down here. I'm trying to find out why. >> I'm driving the highway to see why. >> Yeah, I can see. >> Then once I see, could you please tell me if you don't mind? >> Absolutely. So, your niece was traveling at 25 mph over the speed limit, weaving between heavy, congested US19 traffic, causing dangers to other vehicles on the roadway. >> Okay. >> We conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, complete cordial encounter. Our initial intent was to release her with what's called a notice to appear, which is like a ticket to show up for court. >> Okay. >> All right. At that time, I asked her to hand me her keys for the vehicle because of the nature of how she was driving, and I didn't want her to drive away from us. >> I It was a lawful request. She refused that lawful request. I asked her multiple times without getting in her car, without pulling her out of the car. She continued to refuse. At that time, I told my partner, Officer Compodor, to go ahead and have her exit the vehicle. I attempted to pull the keys out of the vehicle. She made con she swatted my hand away to try and keep me from pulling the key out. I still pulled the key out. We went pulled her out of the vehicle, placed her under arrest. She's currently under arrest for reckless driving and resisting an officer with violence and speeding. >> Speeding, resisting arrest and reckless driving. >> Let me have your uh do you have a card? >> Sure. I can get you a card. >> I can get you a card cuz I'm going to write all this down and all that. And that was very simple. That's all I need. intention on giving you a call back as soon as we were done here because our first priority is getting her up to the jail, getting our paperwork completed, and then I had every intention on calling you. Okay? However, right, we don't owe you an explanation because she's an adult, right? She made her own choices, right? >> But this was simple. You see that? >> I understand. But but you have to understand that. >> I understand all of that. >> Tension tensions are high, man. My recommendation going forward, right, if you have any kind of relationship with her, understand this would have not ended in an arrest. That officer, that's my partner, he's he's in training right now. I'm training him. I had every intention on explaining to him that she probably cuz she has a clean driving record. I said, "We're going to release her probably with an NTA." That's what I was going to tell him up until she can she resisted and and wouldn't follow simple instructions. So if would if if you have a relationship with her, I would advise that you tell her that this could have all been avoided and now she has a criminal record. So I will absolutely get you a card with all of our information on it. >> Record, man. That's why I'm I'm sitting there like >> But but again, there was no there was no We were cordial with her from the get- go. 25 over the speed limit. She was going 80 and the 55 weaving between cars. >> The Karen was subsequently charged with reckless driving and resisting an officer with violence. Karma hit the last Karen real hard and the same happened for Leslie who tried to lie and argue her way out after substances were found on her during a stop. >> Do any of you guys smoke a product? Does somebody smoke in your car or near your car? >> Uh, it's probably those. >> Well, those don't smell like >> this is my bag. You're not touching my bag. I'm sorry. >> You did all that over SOME >> YOU DID ALL THAT OVER SOME DON'T TALK TO ME. On July the 7th, 2025, sheriff's deputies in Valuchia County, Florida, were conducting a traffic enforcement in response to complaints from residents about dangerous [music] driving along a particular roadway. During the operation, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling roughly 20 mph above the posted speed limit and passed another vehicle in a marked no passing zone, prompting them to pull the car over. >> Hey, how you guys doing? >> Good. >> Um, I have I have an appointment with an attorney right now at the court office. That's why I I did that. Um, I'm sorry about that. >> I got you. >> I don't need it. No harm, no nothing. I I honestly I have a card right now and I have an appointment at 11. >> It's already at 10:38. I'm not I'm not trying to pull you or anything. >> I got you. It's all the cash for payment >> in cash. >> They don't take digital payment. >> With the unmistakable smell of substances emanating from the vehicle, the deputies were confident that one of the two had something to do with it. But a quick search of the dude found nothing, which then shown the spotlight on the female passenger, Leslie Copka, and her mysterious bag. >> Can you see your bag real quick? >> This is my stuff. >> Yeah, get that. But there's in there. Give me your bag in here. >> I'm sorry. In the car. This is my bag. You're not touching my bag.
