What is this? >> Big bottle of stuff. >> It's illegal in many states. >> Okay. >> I'm stalling you right now. >> Why you don't stall me? >> You want the Buddhist answer or do you want the New York City person answer? >> I want the truth. >> Are we going to the jailhouse? I haven't had a good night's sleep in 15 years. >> All right, internet. I'm Frank Slope. I've got 25 years as a sworn deputy sheriff here in the state of Arizona. Today we're going to be doing some body cam bright lights down. We found today's video on a really small channel called Burner Body Cam. First time we've ever used them, so we're going to check it out. We'll see how we like it. While we're checking out their video, we've got body cam bingo on deck. We're using card number four today. We sell them in a set of one to five. You can order those at bodycambingo.com and then you can play along. So, if you have your cards, pick a card, let's check this video out. >> What is this? >> Big bottle of stuff. >> I've seen you >> Oh, it's courage. >> Courage, huh? I don't think that's where it comes from. >> Turn your car off. >> Oh, I will in a minute. >> No, do it right now. >> Oh, I know. You sure? >> Turn your car off. >> Oh, okay. >> Look at how uncoordinated she looks. >> Do you have your ID? >> ID about what? >> Your driver's license. >> Oh, yeah. Oh, that's right. I'll get it. We're in 2025. >> There you are. >> Okay. >> Wow. If I would be driving through a parking lot and I saw a woman parked in a running car in the driver's seat sucking on a bottle of nitrous oxide, my very first thing I think of is I'm going to arrest her for DUI. Like she is using a substance with a very significant impairment potential. I'm going to get her out. I'm going to put her through the standardized field sobriety test battery as quick as I can. I'm going to throw the Romberg modified, maybe the finger to nose on it. Place her under arrest as long as there are signs and symptoms that are consistent with impairment, and I'm going to draw her blood as quick as I possibly can. Because nitrous oxide is very fast acting in the body. Um in the drug recognition expert manual, inhalants is an entire section of just drugs that you inhale. And it goes from amyl nitrate to nitrous oxide to gasoline. There's all sorts of things that you can inhale to get high or to feel impaired. Uh spray paint's in there, airplane glue is in there, all sorts of stuff. They're all very fast acting. Some a little bit longer than others, but they're all out of your body quickly. So, to process someone for impaired driving under an an inhalant, um like whippits, you've got a you've got to get your probable cause for arrest, and you need to draw their blood as quickly as you can, and then have it specially tested by a lab that that knows and understands inhalants in the blood. So, it's it is definitely I've only done a handful of inhalant DUIs during my 25 years of being a a deputy sheriff and 20 years as being a drug recognition expert. Um it's here in Arizona, it's not a frequent violation that we see, but when you see it, you got to process it quick. So, I'm kind of curious to see where this is going to go. >> Thank you. What are you doing? >> Oh, what am I doing? >> Mhm. Quick, think of something. >> Translating. >> You what? >> Translating. >> Translating for >> translator. >> Okay. What are you doing back here? >> Thinking. >> Okay. What is this big bottle of stuff? >> We see a lot of crimes in these videos, but what crime are you likely to be a victim of? Can you step out of the car? >> Again? So, this has happened before? >> I don't need that. Is this your bank card? I don't need your card. >> Card, step out. >> Humana? >> Step out of the car. >> We don't we don't care if you have health care. Get out of the car. >> Connect here. Connect here. Just stand behind your car for me. >> [music] >> What is that bottle? >> It's nitrous oxide. >> Okay, what's it used for? >> During World War II, they used fighter pilots used it. >> Go ahead. >> I'm just a translator. >> Okay. Well, you weren't translating anything when we pulled up. I pulled up next to you, you're sucking out of that bottle of nitrous oxide, if that's what it is. >> Correct. It's illegal in many states. >> Okay, is that What's its intended use? >> It depends on what side you're on. >> What does that mean? Stay right there. Side of what? What side of Whipped psychotic whip? Oh. >> Yeah, they use it to make whipped cream. >> Delicious. >> What were you doing with it? >> Getting high is the answer. >> I was going to make whipped cream. >> No, you weren't. >> No, well, I I saw you >> No, you weren't. >> sucking out of it. Is that what it's used for? >> Yes. >> There we go. Where'd you get it? >> Do her for DUI. >> I got it at a convenience store. >> Convenience store? >> That's convenient. >> All right, cuz you seemed extremely out of it when I pulled up next to you. You said you were struggling to breathe as you were sucking on that. So, why'd you come park back here to use that thing? >> I'm just a translator. Waiting for real police come. >> Mhm. Well, next to her, she's >> Real police. >> bottle of nitrous oxide. >> What? >> Yeah. >> Anybody who's really a medical professional here? >> Why? Do you need medical attention? >> No. >> Okay, so why do you ask? >> someone who speaks that language. >> For what reason? >> I don't know, I'm thinking. >> All right, keep thinking. >> I'm not drunk, and I'm not stoned. >> No, you're stoned. You're absolutely high. >> Wasn't the intended use for you to be sucking all this nitrous oxide out of it. >> That is true. >> Cuz how does it make you feel? >> High. >> It makes me feel a little freer. >> Freer and you think you should be driving that way? >> No. >> Okay, so why we doing this then? >> Because I was scared. I was afraid of my own husband. >> For what reason? >> He was abusive at times. >> Okay, so you come park behind a gas station, suck on this bottle of nitrous oxide to free yourself cuz you're afraid of your husband? That doesn't make you safe to drive. >> There we go. >> That doesn't make sense. I know it doesn't. >> It doesn't. Tell me something that's going to make sense here. Cuz it sounds like you're doing this makes you incapable of driving. >> I'm stalling you right now. >> Why you don't stall me? Why you stalling me? So what you're telling me is you know this makes you >> with the war yet. >> All right. >> It's never going to end. >> All right. >> That's the expression kill the translator. >> Nitrous oxide, yeah. 4 nitrous. See if a drug recognition expert shows up and see what happens here. So I'm trying to see where it says not for consumption. >> No, that one's for human consumption. >> While you're driving? >> Well, it shouldn't be, but it was a desperate situation. >> What was so desperate that you needed to do that while driving? You couldn't pull over? >> how to simplify it more. Um You want the Buddhist answer or do you want >> Buddhist. >> city person? >> Let's go New York City. All right. >> That's the truth. >> Nitrous oxide is used as a propellant. Um so this is a this is legally available. It is available exactly, yeah, like she said, you can buy it in stores, it's available in restaurant supply stores. Um you can fill uh homemade whipped cream canisters like, you know, you make a specialty whipped cream in a in a restaurant to propel that out of the canister is what nitrous oxide's for. Um Um so, it has a a legitimate use, but it can also be abused like what we're looking at here. Um this is the same exact propellant that is in when you go to the grocery store and you buy whipped cream for your pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, this is what it is propelled by. And absolutely, if you don't turn your whipped cream canister upside down, you use it right side up, what comes out of that is just the propellant, which is nitrous oxide. So, it's it is it's available everywhere, so it's widely available and absolutely susceptible to abuse. >> So, what what why were you what were you doing it driving? While you were driving, hitting nitrous oxide, which is >> Because this could be the end time, but it doesn't have to be. >> That's very cryptic. This is what I've been getting. >> It's This is food grade, huh? >> It's in every house, every church, every country, everywhere. >> What is nitrous oxide? >> Islam. >> No, the war. The phone next to her. >> There's a lot of confused people. >> Clear as day. She's in the driver's seat. She's not driving. >> I'm confused right now. >> I'm struggling to breathe. I get out, and and that's that's what I see in her hands as she's doing it. >> We need people that are qualified to make that assessment, medical people. >> Make what assessment? Do you have any other stuff in there? >> No. >> Do you have any marijuana or any other in there? Try 12 free shots. >> Oh, yeah, marijuana. I had that prescribed by Dr. What's his name? >> Feel good. Dr. Feelgood. That's who prescribes that. >> You got quite a few there. >> Yeah, I needed it. >> Do you have a Do you have a car? >> I do, but it got taken away last time they locked me up. >> Well, sounds like you can get it back today. >> No, I'm not going to get it back today. >> How do you How do you have that if your car was taken away? How are you buying that? >> You only need a driver's >> Yes, ma'am. >> You only need a driver's license to buy marijuana? >> Yes. >> No, you need a medical marijuana card to buy marijuana. >> marijuana card, that's what I mean, but >> Right, but you don't have one. >> a driver's license now. The rules have changed. >> Uh-huh, that's something new I don't know about. >> I know, most people don't know it either. >> So, I can walk into a medical marijuana store and buy marijuana without a medical marijuana card cuz I have a driver's license, is what you're telling me? >> In Florida? >> Yeah, I don't think so. >> California, yes. >> Well, this is Who cares about California? >> You know we're in Florida. >> You got like three or four of them in your pocket. >> It's used to make whipped cream. >> All right, I'm holding on to all this stuff right now. >> You're so You're so faded. >> No, only a driver's license. >> And these are what? >> Those are medical marijuana, whatever you call it, you >> Vape pens? THC? >> Yes. And the doctor is Dr. Let me think >> Holy cow. >> Black guy. >> Come over here for me. >> Um, Dr. Bernard, Johnny Bernard is the doctor. >> Okay. >> The medical marijuana doctor, he's in Palm Coast here. I was told I could give him a call and just renew it over the phone. >> But you didn't. >> Correct, I didn't get a chance. >> Well, maybe you could have if you weren't sucking on nitrous. >> Correct. >> What store is that? >> It's called Surterra, S U R T E R R A. >> Surterra sells that? Surterra sells the whip? >> Surterra don't sell those. >> No, no, no, that's a medical marijuana place. That's Dr. Johnny Bernard's >> So, where'd you Where'd you get that from? >> Oh, I got that at a convenience store. >> Which giant whipped it? >> Yeah. >> What's your name? >> over California. >> This isn't California. This is Florida. You did not buy that in California. >> Correct. >> All right. So, where did you buy it here? >> Three alpha nine. There is a chance that the nozzles included in this case do not work properly. Therefore, we attached six extra nozzles that have been tested to work properly. Exotic whip cream. >> This is all her cetera. >> Uh Pam, that's a >> Unbelievable. >> cream, bro. >> Bro. [ __ ] huge. >> You doing it back here? >> Right here, yep. I was sitting over I just went to go leave. Well, that's where she parked right here. >> What did you do with your neighbor? >> That's awesome. >> So, I I don't want to be a Uber driver. I never wanted to be. I never wanted to come to uh to Florida in the first place. That was my house. >> It's not a good state for you. >> He gets to stay here. >> What made you guys move here to Florida? So, it was your husband's decision? >> Um yes, it was his decision. We We were real estate investors. >> Oh, okay. >> had a house here and when they came after me in California, we moved here. >> Came after you for what? Came after you, who's they? >> Um who's they? >> Still thinking who they are? >> Yeah, I'm still thinking. >> Oh, okay. >> Do I appear drunk to you? >> Yes. >> I don't think so. >> Yes. >> But, I did a second ago, right? >> I don't think you made a good decision. >> Correct. >> But, >> I agree. >> Have you ever taken a one of them canisters before? >> No, in high school we used to inhale ready whip canisters for fun. >> Okay. >> That's what we did on Long Island. >> Hey, that's where I'm from. I never did that. I've heard of it though. >> It's a drug, I know. >> It is? >> It doesn't last long, that's the thing about it. It only lasts a few minutes and then you can you're safe to drive. >> That's [snorts] not accurate. If it's used to make whipped cream, is that what you said? So, she said she's from Long Island. It's the same place that I'm from, literally the same island. Just east of New York City, there's Long Island. It's a great place to be from. Now, my dad also grew up on Long Island. Um obviously, he's he's probably closer to her age. Um now, she says that they used to suck the nitrous oxide out of whipped cream canisters. My dad, when he was young, worked in a grocery store on Long Island. Grocery store's no longer there. It was a small family-owned grocery store right in the town where I'm from. And he said that people that he worked with would also do this. So, this is a a use of a drug that has been around now since the '50s. And it's now, you know, 2026, and people are still abusing the same exact drug in the same exact way. Just trying to get high. But it is uh it is certainly a a drug that has transcended time for the last 70 years and is still relevant and still abused. >> Yeah. >> Where'd you buy it at? >> Restaurant supply store. You can get them at any restaurant supply store if you have a restaurant. >> Do you have a restaurant? >> Um no. >> Well, how'd you get it then? >> This weird head movement. >> I have a lot of friends who have restaurants. >> Oh, okay. Can you put your hands behind your back? >> First three letters j a n >> j a n >> o j a n o >> Jano, like that. j a n o All right, you're being placed under arrest, okay? You're being placed under arrest today for unlawful use of nitrous oxide, okay? And you want to fix the grams in the state of Florida is a third degree felony. >> Third degree >> felony? >> Correct. Come over here. Where'd you Where'd you get that can from? >> You call it what? A convenience store. >> Do you know which one? >> No. >> I'm trying to figure out where they sold it to you at. >> I know. >> Was it a food selling place or like >> I don't know. I'm just a messenger. >> You're just a messenger? >> Translator. >> Okay. >> My husband only tried to strangle me once. But the thing is >> You should have left him. >> once. I just want to be there an anesthesiologist for one day. Let him know how it feels. Have time go slowly. See, I was a member of Self-Realization Fellowship in California. SRF, it's called. I don't even know where the expression don't kill the messenger came from. It's pretty old, I think. These handcuffs are hurting. >> Well, take complaints about cuffs. >> Are they going to come off there or I don't know yet. >> Yeah, no, they'll come off. >> Are we going to the jailhouse? >> Yep. >> I thought I prayed for a second we were headed towards Daytona. >> So, like I said, nitrous oxide goes in when you inhale it, it depletes your brain of oxygen. It kills brain cells as it does this, and it gives you a euphoric feeling for a very short duration of time until your body gets fresh fresh oxygen into your blood, it goes to your brain, your brain is reoxygenated, and the high dissipates. Now, if she was This is the first time she had ever used this drug, that reoxygenation of the brain happens fairly quickly. And you can you could literally watch someone come back and watch them regain their faculties, regain their coordination as the drug wears off and the impairment declines as the brain gets more oxygen. But since she's been doing this possibly for the last 50 years, um those brain cells that are killed with each use compound exponentially. So now you're talking about years [clears throat] and decades of killing brain cells. So you've noticed that she's definitely not as impaired as she first was right at the beginning of the video, but she's not a normal talking, eloquent conversationalist that you would expect from someone who's a translator, if that's her real job. Um but she's not coming back because she is probably burned so many brain cells over an extended use of this drug that she's just burned herself out and that's it. She's just She There's she's not going to come back from it. She's Those brain cells are dead. They're not going to regenerate. She's going to be a little slow forever. >> Daytona is bad news. >> Why do you say that? >> It's a Democratic Democrat They're Democrats over there. And they were arresting nurses, pulling nurses off the street, home care nurses, putting them in a 72-hour hold. I was there with them. >> Mhm. >> Some of them. >> You definitely need a hold. >> Baker Act? >> Huh? >> Have you ever been Baker Acted? >> Yes. I hate to have to admit it cuz now I'm going to be stuck there for 72 hours again. >> that's not where we're going now. >> Where are we going now? >> Jail. >> Jail. Even more fun. Well, at least it's not jail in Daytona. They'd be mixing me with male inmate inmates like they did in California. >> No, we don't do that. >> Not me, but other people. Mixing them right with male inmates. Sick. >> Yeah, I'm pretty sure they don't do that. They don't do that. >> I don't think so, but they might in Daytona. What happens is the husband attacks the wife and then the wife gets taken for the hold or to jail, whatever. The wife gets taken, the battered wife. My husband is totally unqualified to make any kind of medical assessment on me, but he was doing it. Never even saw battle. He was a Vietnam vet, though, but that's not the source of his anger. I don't know what the source of his anger is. >> Probably being married to you. >> It's way different when you're the target. I've hung out with some dangerous characters in my life. What I am is sleep deprived. I haven't had a good night's sleep in 15 years. >> Wow. Take a vacation. >> I sure hope so. I'm not drunk and I'm not high. >> All right, out of all the crazy things she said, the only thing she did on the on the bingo card was complain about her cuffs. So, maybe better luck next time. Card number four wasn't a winner for us. What's always a winner is being a subscriber to this channel. We are looking for a gold plaque. So, the agency I work for, they've over a million subscribers, they have a gold plaque. I would like a Frank Slope gold plaque. Sam and I are looking for it. It is the goal.
