Hi. What's your name? >> Nick. >> What is it? >> Nick. What happened? >> I was basically arguing over um him. I was trying to uh figure out like what happened to my items that were in my room. I don't have a lock on my door or anything. And I know that a bunch of my items from my room was missing. So, I went down there to confront him about it. And he basically came up to me, started shoving me, saying, "Get out of my room." This that the other thing. I said, "Don't put your hands on me. Don't touch me. I'm just trying to figure out where my stuff is." And then he said, "Get the out of my room, otherwise I'm going to hurt you." And then I was like, "Why are you being a >> Sure sounds like a group home problem." >> He said, "I don't care." And he started shoving me. And then that's when I shoved him back. And then it just downfalled from there. >> Okay. >> And he started calling the cops. And that's why you guys are >> Do you have any marks on you? >> All right. Today's video, Midwest Safety. You know, we love the channel. They put out great stuff. So, we're going to see how they do with Body Cam Bingo today. Um, we got a new card. Got some some new boxes. Got some old boxes. So, we're going to see how this one goes. Sam really likes this video. We're going to give it a shot. >> I mean, I'm pretty I'm pretty >> I'm pretty big. So, >> you not that big? >> Yeah. He stood up and he started shoving. >> And you were in his room and you just you didn't want to leave his room. >> I was trying to figure out where my stuff was before I even like exit the premises so that I could at least have like somewhat of an idea. And I was just at first I calmly asked him like, "Hey, do you know where my stuff is?" As soon as I asked him that. Aggression, aggression, aggression. He was like, "No, get the out of here. X, Y, and Z. I don't give a shit." And I was like, "Can you please just help me out by finding stuff?" And he started shoving me on. I was like, "Don't please stop, you know, stop touching this stuff." And I was like, "Touch me again." And we're going to have a problem. Like, I don't I don't want to. But then that's when like we started wrestling and whatnot and grappling. And then eventually he had he was like holding me and that's when I was trying to like get him off of me cuz he was like >> when you go like this where were your hands when you did that >> like this like around? Yeah. >> Around. >> Yeah. I was like trying to shove him off of me. >> What what which what which part of his body were you touching >> around his neck? >> Like around here. Okay. >> All right. You remember putting your hands on his neck? >> Um it might have been like up towards his neck a little bit, but I was trying to like put my hands on his chest, but he was wrapping his legs around me and whatnot. So, >> go ahead and put your hands behind your back. >> Okay, let's just hang tight here. I like this. That lady is not catching that dude. I don't like for pursuits for a couple reasons. One, I'm an old man and it just inevitably you're going to trip on something. You're going to step in a hole. Um there's going to be a barbwire fence at night. Foot pursuits are terrible. There's I can't tell you how many cops I know that have broken their leg, ankle, um you twisted knees, stuff that will never make them right again all because they had to chase someone. Um I I I get it that cat and mouse is a game that we play. I just don't like it. It just it it substantially increases the chances of getting hurt. You know, you jump over a wall. It's different when you're slick. You don't have any gear on. The way you land, just everything. It just everything's bad. I hate him. I hate him just because of the the propensity towards injury. >> Suspect just took off running from us. >> Put me back. Grab my clipboard. Where does this kid think he's going to go? Why I leave my car running? I don't have to worry about that. Did you know all chips and fries used to be cooked in tallow up until the 1990s when big corporations switched to cheap processed seed oils? Today, seed oils make up 20% of the average American's daily calories. And recent studies have shown that seed oils are linked to metabolic health issues and inflammation in the body. MASA decided to do something about that. They created a tasty and delicious tortilla chip with just three ingredients and no seed oils. Organic niximalized corn, sea salt, and 100% grass-fed beef tallow. These chips don't only avoid all the bad stuff, they taste incredible, too. Masa is tastier, crunchier, and sturdier than other chips, so it doesn't break in your guac. Snacking on masa chips is nothing like eating regular chips. With Masa, you feel satisfied, light, and energetic with no crash or bloat or gross sluggish feeling. This means you won't find yourself uncontrollably binging and still feeling hungry. Personally, my favorite flavor of masa is churro. You'll notice that there's not a bag here because I already ate them. Go to masachips.com/frank and use code frank for 25% off your first order. That's masach chips.com/frank and codef frank for 25% off your first order. And if you don't feel like ordering online, that's fine. Masa is now available nationwide at your local Sprouts supermarket. Stop by, pick up a bag before they're all gone. >> Take a right down. Cumberland. >> Let's see. >> Get the f Let's see. Where'd old boy go? >> Back from 35. Charges are going to be domestic battery, possibly egg domestic battery. Suspect's like 5'8, probably 130 lb. >> Not that big. >> Wearing a navy blue Planefield South athletic t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. >> Good description. >> 140 lb. Wearing a navy bluefield South athletic t-shirt and a pair of black. >> 35. He's going back to the house for her. All right, let's see how things are going here. >> STOP. JUST STOP. THIS isn't going to get better. STOP. in the backyard. >> Not far in the backyard. >> This guy's going for a run. I like that guy. >> Where is he? >> Oh, he's in the backyard. He just ran back here. >> Check the backyard. >> Yeah, >> you stay away. I don't want to hurt you. >> Okay. Yeah, of course. I'll take that out the bar. You got to unlock it. There you go. Don't let him in this house. >> Right here, officer. >> What are you doing? >> I told him not to run. >> Stop. >> All right, YouTube University lawyers. Uh, you may be saying to yourself, "Hey, she didn't ask permission to go in that house." She doesn't need to. Um, hot pursuit is an exception to the search warrant requirement under the Fourth Amendment. Um, she can enter that house. She is. She sees him go in. She knows he's there. She's going in after him. It's only It's only a second or two. Absolutely fine. That is a She is She is looking for that subject. She knows he's in the area. Absolutely fine to to affect that arrest by entering that house. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Come on, Nick. >> I told you not to run. You just made it worse on yourself. >> Very much so. >> How would you run? >> You just made it worse. >> Now you have more charges. >> Definitely. >> I'm going to finish my paperwork. I want you to sit with an Alvarado in the car. Okay. >> Okay. >> We're sorry. >> Stay right here. Don't move. >> Spread your feet. Get up. >> Okay. >> Spread your feet. >> Spread your feet out. >> I have nicotine on me in my phone. That's it. >> We shouldn't run. >> I'm sorry. Like I said, I was in the moment. >> You thought running would help? >> Going to jail? >> You tell me. >> Now you're going to jail for more. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> This was a simple domestic battery. Now you've turned it into resisting swinging. You got a camera? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Sorry guys. >> Let me turn my back one off. >> There we go. Time to seat. >> I'm going to have him sit in the car while I finish paperwork cuz I don't want him taken off again. >> So he doesn't run away from me again. >> No, he's 17. Or wait, how old are you, buddy? No, no, no. He's 20. Y. >> Hey, don't do that. >> You shoving me first. Doesn't matter, right? >> You would have had your day in court, man. You still are going to have your day in court. This isn't the end all be all. >> I don't want there to be any court. I just wanted my [ __ ] out of my room, man. Like, it's in my room for a reason. Why do I have to sit here and wake up every morning wondering, "Oh, is this going to be in my possession? Oh, is is my still here? Are my clothes still on on my hand?" >> Nobody should have to wake up like that. I'm I'm thankful to God that I have a roof over my head and I have parents that love me. Cuz if I didn't have that, I wouldn't have [ __ ] man. I want to do is finish high school, finish my community service, man. >> Community service is the key there. And I was speeding for the reason to get him to school, get his education and mine. What type of family calls the cops on a family? >> I've been to court quite a bit. I have never seen community service ordered for a simple speeding ticket. So, something isn't adding up here. Community service is typically part of of um when someone's found criminally um responsible or guilty criminally. Um it's part of, you know, fines and community service, maybe some jail time. Um that's where community service comes in. It typically doesn't come in for speeding. So, I'm feeling like he's downplaying his previous contact with law enforcement here. >> Family figures family issues out through the family, not through the police. The [ __ ] I'm going to headbutt something. I swear to God, dude. >> That's not a good way to handle things. So, look, right now it's not the end of the world. >> Might as well V2. My life is over. >> No, it's Dude, it's battery life. >> I'm going to be in jail for domestic battery when this could have been resolved with him just giving me my >> Remember I told you you're going to have your day in court, right? Just cuz you're in cops and you're in a squad car doesn't mean it's the end all be all. You're going to go see a judge. You're going to tell them your side of the story, right? >> Yep. This suspect was charged with aggravated domestic battery [music] and resisting obstructing a peace officer. He is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. This next case shows officers approaching a male who was in the middle of the street causing busy traffic to stop and shouting obscenities at drivers. >> Need to see your ID. I need to see your ID. >> I'm sir. Sir, sir. >> I need your name, >> sir. >> Name and ID or ID? >> Sir, >> I don't have No. >> Okay. Give me your name. >> No. Just last week we were here. Give me your name. >> Let's walk over to this car. Come on, >> sir. My girlfriend's over there. She's pregnant. I don't care. >> She's pregnant. Okay, there was last week. Someone thought we had fake 20s. Someone thought we had fake 20s last week. >> I'm not drunk or anything. >> I don't care. You're not acting the way you should be acting. You're standing in the middle of the street. >> What is your name? >> Emanuel. Sir, why am I being detained? >> Cuz you're standing in the middle of the street. >> In the middle of the street. >> Come on. I'm not going to go to jail, right? >> For jaywalking. >> Yeah. >> No, you don't go to jail for jaywalking. I got a clean record, sir. >> Where's your ID? >> I don't have an ID, sir. >> Do you have a wallet or anything with your name on if I search you? I >> don't have a Do you mind if I search you? >> Stop reaching for stuff. I don't know if people have questions. >> I don't I don't >> Stop reaching for stuff. Can I search you? >> Yeah. Well, why? I don't I'm not going to >> Cuz I want to find your ID in the first ID. Look. >> Hands on your pockets. >> Okay. Hands on your pockets. Keep your hands out your pockets. >> I'm not going to around with you guys. Stop. I'm not going to with you guys. I know anything like anything about this guy. >> I'm just I'm not going to cause you any more. Listen, sir. I'm not going to cause you any more. >> Here's here's the deal. You lie to me about your name, I am going to arrest you. Do you understand? >> Yep. >> So, either you deal with deal with whatever the consequences of consequences are of your real name, which I suspect you have a warrant. >> Why? >> But the way you're acting, it's indicative of somebody who is trying to hide who they are. >> All right. Spell your last name for me. >> All right. Man, you >> There it is. >> So, I really like that these two cops are keeping a pretty solid L on this guy. Um, he already says, "Hey, I don't have any ID." But he keeps searching through his pockets. Wait a minute. If you don't have any ID, what are you reaching your pockets for? Like, absolutely not. I really like that that that officer, the plane closed guy, um, I really like that he he continuously tells a suspect, "Hey, keep your hands out of your pockets. Keep your hands out of your pockets." Um, it it's a really it's a heads up move. something that rookies normally don't take control of a situation as much. Um, that guy's probably on a street team again because he's in plain clothes with just a vest carrier. Um, but that's that's a heads up move and cuz what he's probably doing is getting those drugs in his pock in his hands and when he takes off running, he could run and throw them and he doesn't have to break his stride of his hands as he's running. So, it wouldn't surprise me if during that foot pursuit he dumped some drugs that were in his pocket because he knew they were there. But man, there's no reason to be putting your hands in your pockets if you're not looking for something or if you're looking for something that's not there. It just everything about that says guilty. >> Male, Hispanic, male, white, all black. That happened. >> Come here. I got to tase you. >> Tas him. >> TASER. TASER. >> TASER. >> Watch out. Watch out. Ride the lightning. >> Nice job. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Got him. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I don't know. >> 14241 in custody. >> I'm done. Oh, I love seeing that. Nice job. >> I got to go secure the car. >> Yeah. >> Hey, you saw arrested. >> Stay. Stay on my face. >> Stay there. Stay on my face, sir. >> Stay on my face. Shut the >> warrant. What? >> Of course you have a warrant. >> Okay. Well, you got to take care of >> No. Adult mail doesn't have a wallet or ID on them. >> We're just going to be a warrant. Now it's now you made it a lot harder. >> I have money. >> Don't reach in your pockets. Don't reach in your pockets. >> I don't care. Don't reach in your pockets. >> I think 10 bucks in my pocket. >> Don't reach in your pockets. I said what's wrong with you, man? >> Yeah, that's why you ran. Of >> course. Can you stand up? Can you stand up? >> No. >> You want me to carry like a little baby? >> I was just laying on top of that, man. Hey, how come all my friends get arrested and they're out the next day, bro? >> Huh? >> Who are your friends, >> man? >> I'm asking who are your friends? Maybe I could tell you. >> So, for real, how come, man? So, I got arrested cuz I was arguing with my girl. >> I've got a pretty tight circle of friends. Not not very many. I have a lot of acquaintances, but none of my friends get arrested all the time and are out the next day. Um, maybe you should reevaluate who your friends are. If your friends are being arrested and released and going through the judicial system and part of the criminal justice system, like maybe you should hang out with better people that don't get arrested all the time, but maybe they shouldn't hang out with you because you're getting arrested. I mean, who birds of a feather, I guess, but I don't know. My friends aren't getting arrested. Come on. You're not that stupid, are you? >> Seriously, it's cuz you ran in the car. >> You heard, sir? Sir, that's garbage out. Hey, >> put your legs in. Put your head in. >> Get in. Get in the car, man. >> This suspect was charged with resisting, obstructing identification, violation of his bail bond conditions, causing a traffic hazard, and walking on a highway. He is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. >> All those charges. Midwest Safety, who we love, great videos, but a zero for Body Cam Bingo. So, didn't get any.
