Bro, don't touch me. Put your hands up. Don't touch. >> On the night of June 27th, 2023, officers responded to a call about a disturbance at a Spirit Airlines in Orlando, Florida. Here's what happened next. >> Of course it was. All right, internet. I'm Frank Slope. I'm a 24-year veteran of the sheriff's office out here in Arizona. Today, we'll be playing some body cam bingo. So, [cheering] the Cop Cam is the channel where we found this, and we're going to be doing some body cam review of a great video we found on here. It happens in the airport in Orlando. We're going to see how it goes. >> Crazy. Y'all got to stop lying. >> No, you guys are lying. >> Yeah. Don't try to pay us. >> We deserve this [ __ ] >> We're not going to help you. If you're going to >> If we continue this on, what's going to happen is they'll refund your money. You'll be trespassed from the airport. We're not going to play this game or scream at people. I guess for stop. >> Okay, I'm done. >> Of course you will. One of the very first comments that I absolutely love is when this lady says that they could just go over to Frontier. Um Frontier is another airline that I don't fly. Um I just don't like getting nickel and dimed for seats and carryons and check bags and all the stuff. It's just it's not my style. Um, but the fact that this lady that her her challenge to Spirit Airlines is I'll go to Frontier. I I don't know. I don't know if you're leveling up there. >> And so are they on good for you all day. >> In a few minutes and we'll trespass you from the airport. If that's what you want, we will do that. We are not going to play this game all night. Okay. >> No. So, I was looking at this woman's shirt who's here causing a commotion, and it looks like some sort of marijuana, THC, cannabis related shirt. She's a little bit aggressive. She might need some sort of indica to slow herself down and relax a little bit. Like, maybe she's a sativa girl and she's just, you know, she's doing sativa things and maybe she needs to do indica things. look into that. >> Your job isn't to give us I'm not Don't listen to him because my job is not to arrest you to just stop listening. >> All cops are >> when they do bad things. >> Wow. There's a >> there's a generational issue. >> I didn't keep doing this. I'm getting I'm getting the land. >> Wow. >> I told him he's waiting for a letter. He went to go get it. I'm trying to hold it. Hold on. Hold on. >> So, I was looking in the comments on this video. And one person points out the reason that Spirit Airlines is so cheap is because these are the type of people that you're flying with. And I've never flown Spirit Airlines. I have to put that as a disclaimer. It's It's not my airline. Um I've said it many times, I'm a Southwest guy because they just happen to fly where I'm going. Um I'm also a growing fan of American Airlines. Those are kind of my two. Um and if one of those two doesn't go there, I jump on Delta. So those are my those are my top three. Spirit's not on there, not for any reason. It's just not my it's not my my airline. But I have to agree with whoever made that comment in the uh in the comments section because looks like it's true. >> Listen, what's happening? Let's let me explain what's going on right now because this is getting out of control. We're not keep playing this game. Everybody's upset. I understand that. I'm trying to sit. Stop. Stop. No, I'm talking. I'm done. I'm talking. >> I'm going to talk >> right now. Goa is coming here. Remember from Goa. When people start acting up, I'm just saying this because we need to get under control. >> Just like your personal safety, you should also be concerned about your online security. I'm not saying you're doing that, but it's happening right now. So, they're coming over here and then when that starts happening one after another, we're going to trespass one at a time out of the airport. Okay? So, stop. I understand you're upset bags, >> but we're not going to do this whole thing. Even you doing this right now like that like look at you and look at her and doing that stuff. >> I never said nothing to that. >> You just did it just now. I walked over for myself. >> Okay. But when I came over here, you're very aggressive and stuff. We're not going to play this game. >> People are just going to start getting trespassed at the airport in 2 seconds when they start happening. So I told I'm going to have Lance come over and I've already told everybody I'm like people that keep doing this stuff to start trespassing people out of here or moving them out because they're like pushing on the plexig I know they're upset but they're like pushing on the plexiglass. This big guy right here is like in this lady's face like this. I'm like, we're not going to sit here and play this game for an hour. >> And if you guys can't control yourselves one at a time, you'll be trespassed from the airport. That's it. >> Right. And unfortunately, they need to put their food down and not >> Well, they're they're trying, but these people are like I mean, they're screaming at me telling me all kinds of crazy stuff back there, too. So, they're trying to rebook them, but the only option is the these people the only flight that's going out is not tomorrow. It's the next day. Hey. >> So, they're upset understandably so, but the only solution that Spirit can give them is the manager saying, "We can only rebook you." >> This guy right here, he's not listen. >> Oh, of course she's videoing. >> The counters are closed for right now. Okay. The counters are closed now. The counters are closed for now. >> Oh, I'm glad they're closed now. >> My man. >> Wow. >> Listen, listen. Why are we WHY ARE WE WHY ARE WE ON THIS stuff right now? >> You touch me. >> Listen, everybody's Everybody can't act right now and I'll be on my way. >> We're We're closed now for temporarily for now. >> They're not doing anything. >> And I'll be on my way. >> Don't touch me, >> bro. He's gone. >> Don't take him. This is a terrible position for everyone involved. Like I was on a vacation. I was in Cabo a couple years ago and after I checked out of my hotel, they canceled my flight. So I'm stuck in another country. I have nowhere to stay. My next flight wasn't leaving until the next day. I was absolutely aggravated. But I wasn't getting arrested and booked into jail aggravated. I was just like, "This is an inconvenience. No, all I can do is deal with what I can deal with. So, let me fix this situation instead of throwing a temper tantrum like these people are. I get it. Tensions run high. Flying is inconvenient as it is. And you know, it's stressful for some people, but there's a better version of good. And that better version is not committing aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and going to jail. It's probably just go over to Frontier Airlines and get A FLIGHT THERE. THERE IT [screaming] IS. >> NO, LOOK. Now we're on the ground. >> Put your hands in your back. >> Choking me out. Hey, get this dude off of me, man. You just caught that off of me, boy. >> No one's joking you out. They're just holding your head down. >> Cuz where your head goes, your body follows. >> Now you got a place to stay tonight. >> Now I got a place to stay. >> Stand up. Stand up. >> Walk you outside. >> My leg is broken. >> I'MMA STAND UP. MY LEG BROKEN. >> YOU'RE NOT GETTING UP. Stand up. >> Oh well. Don't put your hands on a cop. >> Stand up, jackass. >> How the [ __ ] I'mma stand up. My leg. >> My leg is broken. >> It's probably not broken. >> Falling down the front office. I'm telling you, my leg is broken. How the [ __ ] am I? >> Shouldn't fall with the cops. >> Talking about one foot. >> My leg is broken, dude. >> Sure. Your leg isn't broken. >> I don't know why how how you trying to push me and my leg is broken. Y'all got to get a gurnie or something over here. My leg is broke. >> You guys good? >> Don't fight with the cops for like 30 seconds. You choke me up. Look, I was like tapped out. >> Let me go. >> Let her go, man. My kid, my son over there, >> I have a disability. She stared at me. I HOPE Y'ALL got on camera. >> Is she in cuffs, too? >> She looks like she's in cuffs. She needs to be in cuffs. Walk her out. >> Well, he's getting charged that attempted murder, too. I'm going put that on you. >> You made me pass out. You choked me out and made me pass out. You're getting that attempted murder charge. >> So, this officer after this whole the suspect's taken into custody and he kind of, you know, gets his wits about him again, he says, "Hey, that guy was choking me out, man. I was He goes, I I couldn't even see anything." which means that he is in like the one to two seconds away from absolutely passing out. Um, cop works dangerous. It is not, you know, unless you are seeking training outside of your department. You know, we're we are not trained to fight on the street as much as we probably should be. Um, and that's just each individual state has standards for defensive tactics and um, you know, and and what we do in the academy for training and then each individual agency gives more or less depending on on what their philosophy is. But, um, there's a lot of cops that that train specifically for situations like this so that they can fight better and more aggressively defend themselves from someone who's looking to try to choke them out. Um, it's a bad situation. And it's really very very fortunate for this officer that he had some backup there. >> All right. >> We'll see you in court. We'll see you in court. >> Tough guy. And everybody around. >> I know. I know. You can do whatever. You can give me all the looks you want, bro. >> That's a big boy. >> Good gracious. >> I ain't that. First of all, so >> I don't know what you're talking about, man. >> He's catching He's catching more than that. More than the battery. I just saw when I was on trying to get him off, I saw you were under it. No, he had he had lines and I was like I was like out like I couldn't breathe at all. Like >> Joy going to jail. >> Blacking out for a second. I was like I was I was swinging. I couldn't get anything around. >> Interesting that this video occurs in Orlando. Uh Sam and I next month in March we are going to Orlando. We're going to fly into Orlando and uh we're going to go around. We're going to visit some sheriffs in Florida. uh do some ride alongs. I'm going to go check out my boy Nick down in Miami. We're going to hang out with Miami PD and all across Florida. And I'm hoping that while I'm in the Orlando airport, I don't see anything like this. But if I do, I hope one of these officers comes over and says hi. >> It's on It's on camera. It's It's all right. >> It's not on camera. >> Kind of on camera. >> There's a lot of like ceiling. He He had me like I I came down like this and he was on top of me and I was like >> bro I couldn't see [ __ ] He couldn't be breathing right. >> And his wife was on top of him. >> Right. So So actually I did the opposite. >> I let him live actually. >> Yeah. I let him live. >> Perfect. >> No, I could have. That's a difference. It's a difference. >> Like you would kill me with the gun. But you don't. Right. >> Right. What you saying? You sound like a clown. like thought he was about to rush me. >> That's what happened. He attacked me first. Thought he was about to rush me. >> Why isn't he boys? Huh? >> Why isn't he? >> Cuz you're a cop. Just like you. >> Tell you Orlando's got a lot of cops in that airport. I like it. >> They're probably all staged right in the spirit area. >> Check you out. Fun night, huh? >> Yeah. >> I think they need they need to like shut down these ticket counters over here. >> Yeah. These guys are creating havoc out here. They're like making phone calls. They're with them. >> Oh, yeah. >> They're telling their family, "Oh, they almost shot us. They acted like we were terrorist." >> I know we're on, but this lady said like, "This guy's trying to grab your gun or something." Brandy. >> Oh, he choke he he made me pass out. Oh jeez. He ch he choked me out to where like I was I couldn't see anything anymore. >> Oh. Oh yeah. This guy this guy claims he broke his leg. The one that's 10:15. [music] >> His bail was set just over $50,000. >> Video was good. I like I like the little fight that happened. What I don't like is I got I got no squares. I got nothing in here.
