Hey, bro. Why don't you just walk away? >> I can't. >> You don't see what happens inside. >> Well, I would like to, but you took all the video cameras yesterday. >> You only want to say something because you're going to jail. >> Of course I do. >> Toxic girlfriends are known to be good at manipulation [music] and playing the victim as a getaway car. But what happens when the cops are the ones who have to deal with their toxic meltdown and then give them exactly what they actually deserve? You got one side. Need to hear your story. What you need my story? >> How do you get the giant scratch mark across the back? >> All right. >> Oh, never keep spitting on cameras. >> Got to spit on you too. >> HELL FIRE. >> Here are the times super toxic girlfriends finally got what they deserved. Starting with the teen's jealous outburst that went beyond a simple argument and resulted in serious damage to her boyfriend's car. >> Me and my girlfriend were fighting. She was going nuts. She trashed my car and then she was just like hitting me, tackling me. I was just like, "Get off me. Get out." >> I don't relationship with her. I just honestly This is I told her this is it. I was like, "I'm done." >> Hi. >> I need you to come with me. cooperative. >> Okay. >> On November the 16th, 2025, officers in Pompano Beach responded to a call after a couple's argument spiraled way past the point of a normal disagreement. >> Hey, what's going on? So, can I ask who called you guys? >> We don't know. >> There was no name. It was just a call. Somebody called there. We heard a disturbance and they hugged him the phone. >> Well, was it a girl? >> My friend or my girlfriend? Me and my girlfriend were fighting. She was going nuts. She trashed my car. >> Okay. So, like she like threw a public sub all over my car and I took it off my car and threw it back at hers and then she was just like hitting me, tackling me and I'm just like, "Get off me. Get out. Get out." Cuz originally we were inside the house and she was being very aggressive, like holding me down, like punching me. And I was trying to leave my bathroom. We were in my grandma's bathroom trying to leave. And she's like, "I'm not going nowhere until you move." I'm like, "Just leave. Please leave. Please leave. Please leave." She just wouldn't move. I literally sat down on the toilet, waited for her to leave the bathroom. >> Yeah. >> And then she came out here, grabbed channel locks, and she was like hitting my car with channel locks, and then she started chasing me around. >> Yes. >> She was chasing me around with channel locks. >> No, I didn't call the police because I was just like, "Leave my house." I mean, she was just going crazy. >> Where is she at? >> She >> I have no idea. She took off. >> Does she live here with you? >> No, she doesn't. >> Do you live here? >> Yes. >> Where is she living? Um, Oakland Park. >> How long you guys like >> I don't I don't like a year and a half. Like I I didn't even know that you guys were coming. My dad was like, "The cops are out front." And I was like, "Oh my god." >> What happened? Um, what what what led up to you guys getting to the >> She was just She was just mad about girl stuff. Like she wanted to see my phone and I was saying no, >> and she was just like going nuts. Like >> last night I I deescalated a fight, one fight that she was going to get into, and then 5 minutes later she got into another fight, assaulted the girl. I grabbed her way. She talked to the cops for like 2 hours, and then now the other girl is going to press charges on her. This was literally last night, and I was like, "You need to stop going nuts." >> And then this just happened today. >> Okay. >> And I threw an egg and a sub at her car after she was trying to hit me in the head with a pair of channel locks. >> All right. So that's all I did. And then after that, she [music] was she was coming at me pretty hard, hitting me. I did obviously didn't touch her a single time. >> Anybody else inside witnessed all this happen? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I guess >> they were like at the door, but she was with her friend and then my best friend was just here. He just got off his boat and then he took off. >> Do you drive this car? >> Uh, no. I just bought this car from my grandma actually. I haven't even >> Whose tag is that? >> Let me grab a notepad. >> The tag? >> Yeah. >> Oh, I just It's um It's an old tag I just put on there. So, the city like it's >> What tag is it? >> I think it's my my grandpa's my grandpa's old tag maybe. But I haven't driven the car yet. I still need to get my new license from the DMV. I have a scooter. It's up there. That's what I drive. But I have the insurance and registration, everything. I bought it for my grandma for $1,000. >> Did you already transfer the title? >> Uh, yeah, I did. >> How long you guys dated? >> Uh, like a year and a half. >> Year and a half. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Like after she did all that, that's when she was coming at me and attacking me. She like tapped me down to the floor right here. Yeah, >> after I threw it back at her car cuz I was like, "Just get the out. I I told her to leave my house for like 30 minutes." >> At first glance, it looked like the kind of call officers see all the time. An argument, a jealous girlfriend, and a situation a little out of hand. But the scene in front of them suggested that this wasn't just a moment of jealousy. >> Does she typically get physical with you? Is that the way she reacts to >> Yes, all the time. But I don't want anything to happen to her. Like, >> right, >> I love her to death. She does it all the time. She's She's a little cuckoo. But >> does she have any um depression, anxiety diagnosis, anything like that? Uh >> I'm like 100% sure she's bipolar, but she's not diagnosed, but I think she is. >> She threw a sandwich on my car. She was hitting my car with channel lock. She poured a can of Dr. Pepper on my car. >> Yeah. >> What's your plan going forward with your relationship with this girl? from the 13. >> I don't want to I just honestly this is I told her this is it. >> I was like I'm done. I'm not doing this to leave you anymore. But yeah. >> So I was saying like she was hitting me so many times I like on her truck I like smacked her >> like that one like after she hit me and threw the sub all over my car. Yeah. >> I like walked up to her truck and I was like But that's about it. Like other than that, >> that's about >> Okay. >> Like just so like she's probably going to say I smacked her mirror, but I did after she like hit me after me. Yeah. >> Even though I shouldn't have done it probably. But >> is it the the truck's damaged? >> Uh no, it's not damaged. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Despite what had just unfolded, the man standing [snorts] in front of the officers had clearly shown a lot of restraint. But the real question was why. You guys were inside. >> Yeah. >> You said you were sitting on the toilet. Where is that where it started? >> Started in the bathroom and then you >> started in my room. [music] >> Yeah. >> I was literally talking to her and then I was on my phone and then she like went like this and went to grab my phone. I was like, "What are you doing?" And she was like, "Uh-uh. Uh-uh. You got me soed up. Like, why aren't you giving me your phone?" I'm like, "Because like it's been really toxic with her." and like like she's just been talking to other guys for the longest time. >> And I was just like I don't even care anymore about it. So I was like, "Let me see your phone." She was like, "No." [music] Like exactly. >> Okay. >> And then that's when it started. And then she wouldn't let me leave my room. Like she was like blocking me like hard. Like I'm like >> come on move. Like move. Like come on move. She's like no. So >> that's when I sat on a toilet cuz I was never touching. >> Yeah. than my bathroom in my room. >> Yeah. So, she you separated yourself, you went to the toilet or you just went to the bathroom to go sit on >> Yeah. Like she was like in the bathroom like she's at the bathroom door blocking. >> Oh, okay. >> And I'm sitting on the toilet waiting for her to move. Correct. And I was like, I could wait all day. I could wait all day. And >> Yeah. At what point did she start hitting you? >> Um when I came out front and I was telling her to leave. >> So she eventually moved out the way so you can get out or >> Yeah, she did. >> Yeah. Okay. Like I was sitting on the toilet for like 30 minutes and then she walked into my room >> and then I walked outside. She was getting all of her stuff and then she was sitting in my front yard for like another 20 minutes >> and I was likeing leave like get the out of here >> because >> just everything she's been doing I like don't want anything to do with her anymore and just like >> this is it like you're going to get the police called. You're at my house screaming, causing a scene, beating me up in my front yard. >> Like, >> right. >> Even though that sounds so wrong to say, but you know what am I going to do? >> No, I get you. All right. So, she was sitting in the yard. I'm just trying to paint a accurate timeline. Um, sitting in the yard. You're telling her to get out. Where did at what point did she like get physically put hands on? You said she tackled you. >> Yeah, she's like right here. >> Okay. Okay, where we're standing and she was just charging me and I'm just standing still. [music] Everyone's screaming at me to go inside, but I'm just like like no. Like this is my front yard. Like I'm telling her to leave like >> Okay. What be they were trying to separate? [music] >> Yeah. They they were just like, "Stop. Stop." And I'm like, >> "Okay." But getting attacked here, but my friend and her were telling me to stop. And my friend's just screaming at my girlfriend like, "Stop talking to like get off of him." Like y'all need to stop. >> Yeah. >> Like she's not that much smaller than me. Like she's a she's a bigger girl. Like she's a strong girl. Like if she runs at me like full strength like >> Yeah. >> Hurts like like I'm not a but >> Right. >> Punches and scratches and slaps still are annoying, >> right? [cough] And obviously it would be a completely different story if the tables were turned. So that's why I just am like this is ridiculous. Like just get out of my house. Like you're already hitting me at my own house. This is my property. You're putting hands on me. You're going psycho. >> By this point, the officers had heard enough and the next step seemed obvious. Hold the toxic girlfriend accountable for her actions. But it appeared the victim thought differently. >> You guys have been dating for a year and a half >> based on what you're telling us or whatever. Um, she's obviously not here, so we can't speak to her. Um, do you want to press charges against her? >> No. >> Do you want to make a sworn statement? You want to take any pictures? >> No. >> Okay. So, what you're telling us that happened is dating violence in the state of Florida. We don't have discretion. >> All right. >> Okay. So, I'm going to give you a case card and information. >> Thank you. >> I appreciate your time. >> Do you understand what she means? What she just >> Yeah. Like, do I want to press charges? >> Well, you you're you you don't want to press charges. >> No. [music] >> But in the state of Florida, we have to file charges regardless. >> And it's it's up to the state whether or not they pursue charges. A lot of times they don't because the reporting party, in this case, is you. You don't want to pursue charges. So, the state, they receive the report, they look at it, and they say, "Okay, he doesn't want to press charges. We're not going to take the charges." But as of today, the state requires us to at least submit charges to see if they'll take it. You understand? >> Yeah. >> That's that's by law. We have to uh dating violence battery. [music] >> So So So this >> I just don't want her to get like charged with >> Yeah. It'll be documented as such. Um, but >> just so you're aware, in the state of Florida, anytime some if two people are dating and one person is alleging that the other person hit the other, if both parties were here, somebody would be going to jail. >> Really? >> Hands down, we we [music] don't have we don't have we don't have discretion. It's not like a speeding ticket where I can say, "Okay, you can go home." If if both parties are here, we would have to take somebody based on what happened. Even though the male didn't want to press charges, Karma didn't seem too interested in giving the girlfriend a free [music] pass. And when the officers showed up at her door, she reacted exactly the way they expected her to. [snorts] >> Hi. >> I need you to come with me. >> Cooperative. >> Okay. >> Let me see this. >> I'm going to take all your jewelry and leave it here so it doesn't go with us. That way it doesn't go missing. Okay. Here. You know what? Yeah, >> you can just the bracelet >> take off your rings, too. I'm going to have to swap costs anyway. So, >> same thing. >> Go ahead. Take your ring off again. >> Do I take it? >> Anything on you. You're not supposed to have >> You got a bra on? >> No. >> Okay. You want to grab You want us to grab Get your shoes. I can't back in the house, but you want to get your shoes. You want to go barefoot? Slides over there. >> You sure you don't want? >> Um, I don't want you guys going in cuz of the dog though. >> I don't know what you're going to get. [music] It's fine. I >> You're going to go from here and go from my car to there. I'll get temple right away. >> You said mom was close by, right? >> Yeah. She's [music] down commercial. I think she got her um physical therapy. [snorts] >> Turn off >> until I don't get my phone for the until I leave. How much did I get it? >> No, you're going to get you're going to get your phone when you're released, but you'll be able to get numbers out. So, if you want to get your sister's phone number, >> turn your hands like you're praying. Okay. Wait, hold up. here. Jewelry. Can I leave this somewhere outside? >> Yeah, put it in that. >> Right here. >> Mhm. >> Anywhere. >> Real quick cut down for me. No pockets in these pockets as well. pump. >> Did I need >> Huh? No, I bumped you. >> Oh, no, you're fine. >> Okay. >> In the end, the girlfriend was charged with battery and dating violence. Speaking of toxic girlfriends getting what they deserve. This boyfriend beat's assault got caught on videotape for everyone to see. >> Yeah. Right. >> Yeah. Yeah. Sweet. Hey, >> he's fighting. >> I've been closing the door. This morning I knocked on the door and said, "Hey, officer talk to you." >> Yes, officer. I didn't want to talk to you cuz I'm all burned up. He He always hits me. >> Then why do you keep coming back? >> I have to talk to you. >> So, you want to do something about it? How do you expect to do something if you don't want to talk? >> On June the 22nd, 2023, Palm Beach County deputies responded to a home after a woman was reported to have attacked her boyfriend outside the residence. Except what the officers weren't aware of yet was the extent of the assault the poor male had gone through at the hands of his psycho girlfriend. >> What's all this about? >> What did she do or what did you do? >> Uh so here last night. >> Pardon? >> They had monsters here last night. >> I saw >> she was drinking. >> Okay. >> They asked me to leave. >> Before we go any further, are there any weapons in the home? Uh, I mean there's knives obviously. >> Okay. Are there any guns? >> Come here, G. Come here, boy. >> He's friendly. >> No, he hers is. >> All right. So, what happened with the officers last night? >> Uh, they told me to leave. >> Do you need paramedics? >> Um, >> I mean, they're down the street, right? They're literally right there. >> I was an army ranger medic. We're good. >> What about her? No, just see. Unless you scratch a finger on a smelling all this out. >> Hi, doggy. Hi. >> Uh, how is that? >> Hi. I smell I smell like I know. >> I left parked the car right there. Slept in it all night. >> You did? Okay. After the officers left. >> That's awesome. I went to the gym and I came back here, parked the car, slept all night. >> Okay. This truck, this car. >> He's the He has no bearing on this. >> When I went by, I saw >> Do you know this person? >> No. No. I saw the struggle and >> Okay, hold on. I'm talking to him. Let me find out from him exactly what happened inside before we take it to what happened outside. >> Well, she started her screaming and whatnot after I got home from work. This is what happened. Uh so I left. She continued to berate me with text messages like um she's met called her ex-boyfriend to figure out how the uh water machine was freaking this all started. >> Okay. 7 over last night. >> Okay. >> I slept there in the driveway at 6:30. Fell back to sleep in the car cuz I didn't want to go outside. Waiting her to come out. She's got a job breakers as a hostess and uh I'm going to take her to her job then go to mine like I've been doing every day for the past >> How long have y'all been together? >> Year or so a year but uh she comes outside starts screaming and uh goes all my tools if you see >> they were in the car. >> They were packed neatly in the car. All this >> every bit of it. >> Jeez. Okay. >> And I believe you got a camera, don't you? Or >> Yeah. Okay. >> She uh she hit you. >> She hit me in the back of the head with a hammer. That's where blood's coming from. >> Where's the hammer at? >> The red and yellow one. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, we got >> Good thing it wasn't a metal. >> I got a glass. I need a couple scissors. It's not a Yeah. >> So, we just found >> 18. >> Sorry. You're right. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. >> Cuz I want to see this guy's video before we go aggravate her. >> Initially, officers only had the boyfriend's side of the story. But if there were any doubts about the validity of his statements, they didn't last very long. That was because a bystander had recorded the entire incident. completely out of control. >> Hey, bro. Why don't you just walk away? >> I can't. >> Get off of me. Get off of me. >> Stop. drive over them. >> Yeah. Right. >> Yeah. Yeah. Sweet. Hey, >> she's biting. >> Yeah. I I I [laughter] got it. >> Give me my turkey. >> Hey, the police told me not to get involved to stay in my truck. >> Give me a turkey now. Hey, you're doing great, bro. Just protect yourself and don't hurt her. >> That's not the reason for the keys, man. Look at that. Seriously, >> please pull him off for me, please. >> He's not on you, sweetie. >> He won't let go. He won't let go. Please help me. He's doing that to protect you. >> No, he's not. He's doing it to control me. >> It looks to me like he's doing it to protect you. >> He's not cuz he's so charming. >> Off of me. Get off of me. >> Are they close? >> Yeah, they must be. I I I >> I told I told him you were bleeding. So, uh that usually picks it up. >> And by the way, he punched me in the ribs just so you guys wouldn't know that he actually did it. I hate you. I hate you. Don't you ever come back to my house again. Ever. Ever. >> Literally not how that works. The video left no doubt in the officer's minds, but once the victim began going into detail about the woman's behavior, the situation suddenly became even more concerning. >> She just got put on um Zolot like this is a mental issue like for sure. >> How long has she been on? >> Not long enough. >> And obviously she's drunk so it's been a month. pregnant. >> No, >> no, no, no. She just got put on Zoloft. >> Oh, yeah. >> You have video cameras on your house beside Is that a doorbell camera? >> Yesterday until she took them all down. She even taped up the doorbell. >> Maybe let's uh come over on this side of the car. I know you said there's only a BB gun in there, but any event she decides to You want to come over here? >> I just don't feel like having to do anything more to her than >> needs to be at this point because she wants to be stupid. >> Well, that's the thing. I don't I would much rather see her go to like >> she No, no, no. So you what did what did she get diagnosed with? >> Um like manic depressive older. >> So unfortunately because of these circumstances and that you guys are in a relationship, she is going to go to jail, but because you're telling me that she is taking Zolaf, she's been diagnosed and she's probably going through a mental breakdown. >> There is a portion of the jail that deals with mental health. >> Like >> I can't not take her to jail at this can't take you to the hospital cuz I'm going to >> if they did so they have that's what I'm saying they have a medical floor that >> forced to go and like wander out of jail. >> Oh well you're not going to be able to bond her out because there's going to be a no contact order. >> She potentially I get that you're a medic and that you probably went through worse but she potentially could have with that. Okay. Obviously, what happens when we leave is out of my control, but being that we're here, your skull split. I've got people that witnessed it. She has to go today. If she somehow acts out, if something happens in there and we determine she does have to go to the hospital first, she'll go to the hospital, but eventually she's still going to end up in jail. >> Even after being attacked and humiliated, the boyfriend showed far more mercy than most people probably would have. But in times like this and once the cops are involved, a victim's leniency isn't always enough to stop their asalants from facing the consequences of their actions. >> I don't know. Okay, he he's a former military, but he says he doesn't have any zeros on the gun with the zeros in the house. Just a BB gun. But she did slash all four of those tires with a knife. A knife is out here. The hammer's out here that she used to bash the back of the skull with hands. >> All right. I'm here. >> All right. You got lethal. >> Yep. >> There's an island right there. >> On the left. >> You want to go before me or >> open door? >> Open door on the left. Stand up. I need help. Let's do it. Do you need paramedics? I know you're bleeding. Start. >> I know. We will. The woman's personality and demeanor were a [music] total 180 compared to the video the officer officers had just watched where her knee was working just fine. And as the officer started questioning her, it quickly became obvious that [music] this wasn't the woman's first lie, and nor would it be her last. >> What happened to your knee? >> I don't know if it's broken or dislocated. >> What happened though? >> I don't know. He's been attacking me all morning. >> No, he hasn't. >> You haven't seen it? >> No, he did. There was a witness that recorded it. You don't see what happens inside. Is it? >> Well, I would like to, but you took all the video cameras yesterday. >> You didn't really give us an opportunity to talk to this morning either. Decided to take a walk. >> Can you turn that way a little bit so I can check this for you? Lean that way towards like that. I can't defend myself. You're stronger than me. >> We're going to have the medical check on my ribs in the back of my head. I'm all bruised up. He He always hits me. >> Then why do you keep coming back? >> Why don't you talk to us? stupid question cuz you don't believe me. >> It's not that I don't believe you, but I'm going to believe you. >> You You weren't here the morning that were here this morning didn't believe me and I called in and told them that they just take his side because I'm the one crying and he's calm. They never believe me. I slashed him. It's my car and he wouldn't give me my keys and so I slashed him so he couldn't take it. >> My tires are like $300. >> You know he was trying to take you to your job. >> No, he wasn't. >> Why not? None of >> your business. >> Well, maybe you were a little too intoxicated to go to work. >> I wasn't intoxicated. It was 7 in the morning. I had orientation at the breakers. He's lying. You said I was >> Did you forget we were here? >> Yes. >> You walked into the house when I got here this morning. >> You ran out the back. >> I know. And I was not intoxicated at all. >> Absolutely. >> Your job says differently. >> What job? >> Flaggler steakhouse. >> Flaggler steakhouse didn't even see me this morning. >> They said you showed up with blood all over your face >> because he beat me this morning. >> They told me Flaggler didn't see you, but now suddenly they did. >> The Breakers, not Flaggler. I went to orientation at the breakers this morning and they sent me home because I have blood on my face and I can barely walk. >> He took my car all night and never came home because he was out doing all night and then when he came home I wanted my car keys so I can drive to my job myself and he wouldn't let me. >> The officers were clearly not buying her Oscar worthy [music] victim act. But like any manipulative partner who's practiced this performance before, she seemed determined [music] to stick to her script, she was clearly not ready to go to jail. And if she was going to go down, she didn't want to do it alone. >> After closing the door on this morning, I knocked on the door. I said, "Hey, talk to you." >> Yes, officer. I didn't want to talk to you. >> You said, "F you." >> I didn't say f you. I said, "No, I didn't want to talk to you." >> Can I? Have you looked up his criminal record? >> He has a murder charge. >> Okay. >> He's realize that that murder charge has absolutely nothing to do with this. >> I'm just saying. >> What's your record? >> Nothing like this. >> We don't judge people. >> People buy their records, but if you want to bring up records, neither one of you are clean. >> Okay. >> We don't we don't judge people based off records. We judge them based off the moment. We judge them based off years in front of us, >> right? Because I'm hysterical and crying because I just got beat and he's calm and cool and collected. >> I'm judging him based off the fact that when you were here, oh, you had the opportunity to speak to us. >> I didn't want to talk to you. I have a right not to talk to you. I was crying. You absolutely. >> I was crying and I shut the door and I didn't want to see you and I don't want to see him because I'm scared of him. >> Why did you come back here then? >> It's my house. >> But you think you thought he wasn't going to be here. You just said you didn't want to see him. >> My parents were coming here. They were telling him to leave and he refuses to leave. >> Well, you guys live together. So, at this point, unfortunately, it's both of you guys. >> Exactly. I know. I'm But it's my house. He doesn't own anything. It's my car and my house. And I fell in love with him a year ago, and he's been living here ever since. So, I know there's nothing I can do. So, you can imagine how frustrated and upset I am. >> Powerless. He's stronger than >> You can have an evicted. >> I'm going to I'm going to, >> but there's nothing I can do cuz I'm right now, can I? >> Uh, and >> I know she's going. >> She thinks her knee might be broken. >> Knee? >> Maybe. She doesn't know how though. Are you able to move it? >> I can move it this way. >> Okay. >> But I can't. >> It just hurts. >> No. >> Are you able to put weight on it? >> No. >> Do you want it? Do you want to go to the hospital? >> I don't have any money. >> I don't I can't afford an ambulance ride. >> So, what would you like for us to do? >> I don't know. You guys are the ones that are here. >> Well, the only thing we can do is check. We'll check you out and then we can either get a rescue come in or not. >> Well, actually, you know what? She's got to go because you guys are out here and she's going to jail and they're going to make me get her medical clear next week. So, she needs to be transported. >> Okay. >> I just Yeah. Sorry. I put two together as soon as you said that. >> At this point, the officers were done with her fake crocodile [music] tears and decided it was finally time to take her to jail. But apparently that came as a [music] huge shock to her. One that resulted in an unholy meltdown. >> What are my charges? >> Aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon. >> How do you have proof of that? >> The nice little witness that stopped me. What witnessed? >> Some landscaper. >> Some landscaper. You're going up a landscaper. And what was >> I'm going off of a video. What? What happened in the video? >> Your past. >> What happened in the video? >> What happened in the video? >> I will talk to you when they're done. >> Charges. What deadly weapon? >> I don't have a deadly weapon. His fist is a deadly weapon. >> No, cuz I wanted them to finish. Okay. >> This fist is a deadly weapon. He overpowers me and pushes me down. What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do? Let him hit me. >> And he's not getting a license for this. Look at my feet. He push me. >> And there's nothing I can do about just because it's not a recording. >> That happened this morning. >> Yes, it did. >> So, like my partner said multiple times, you ran off and you failed to talk to us. >> So, what? How am I supposed to have to talk to you? >> So, you want to do something about it? How do you expect to do something if you don't want to talk? >> I didn't want charges. He's pressing charges. >> You only want to say something because you're going to jail. >> Of course I do. Of course I do. I DON'T WANT TO SEND HIM TO JAIL. >> The same idiot. God, stop talking to me like I'm a piece of >> I literally just got abused by my boyfriend and you're talking to me like I'm garbage. I know. >> Here, >> Jake. >> Check the back of my head. Check my wrist. He beat the out of me just now. >> I got They're not going to let her go anymore. >> Go arrest him. I'm pressing charges on him now. >> That's not how that works. >> Well, how does it work? >> Told me to shut the up and not talk to you, but >> I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to her. How do I press charges? >> Tell you the same answer. She's going to tell you. >> How do I press charges on you? >> You're going to jail. >> That's fine. When can I press charges on him? You can take it up with your defense attorney when you get out. >> When I get out? >> Okay. >> Okay. >> That's all you had to say. >> You told me not to talk to you. >> You told me not to talk to you. >> You're not here for my help. You're here just toing look down on me. >> We're here to arrest you. That's what we're here for. >> Um, see you in 20 minutes anyway. I'm done. Go ahead and get to go to the hospital with you. So, you can tell me that all you want there. All right. >> The lady was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon. While this woman tried very hard to get her boyfriend in trouble despite being the primary aggressor, she was not nearly as toxic as this young lady, a girlfriend who tried so hard to paint her boyfriend as toxic when she was in fact the villain in the story. >> Um, so me and my boyfriend got into the future last night. what my face looked like. My [snorts] lip was like swollen, my eyes still like a little bruised, and my nose was bleeding everywhere. I hit him more than once, too, I'm pretty sure. >> But like I didn't see him hit her or nothing. And he said he said that she hit him. >> So, you're being placed under arrest for simple battery dating violence. Okay. >> Is he getting arrested? >> No, he's not. Okay. March the 6th, 2025. What started as a heated dorm room argument quickly erupted into chaos after a woman called the cops and her on-again, off-again [music] boyfriend. What she didn't know was that her carefully plotted plan to get him in trouble was about to backfire spectacularly. >> What's going [snorts] on today? >> Um, so me and my boyfriend got a terrible confusion last night. >> Okay. >> And basically what happened was um he went out, didn't tell me. I was really upset. He came home plastered. Um, I put him to bed and then I started drinking and I got really drunk and then um, we went upstairs to my room and I was really really mad and I did >> he um, smacked me in the face multiple times. I don't really like kind of blacked out during that. >> Okay. >> Um, basically here I have pictures. >> Um, this is what my face looked like. My lip was like swollen. My eyes still like a little bruised and my nose was bleeding everywhere. >> Okay. >> Um but yeah, that's pretty much what happened. And then came to safety was called and they came and took him back to his room. And I said I didn't want to press charges originally. Um but I would like to now. I just don't I don't want him to get like arrested or anything. >> Okay. Well, that's we'll get to that later on. Do you have your ID? >> Yes, I do. Are you guys enjoying? >> You are. >> All right. So, what time did this take place yesterday? >> Um, around 2:45 2:30 >> in the morning. >> In the morning. >> Okay. So, like this morning. >> Yeah. >> So, 2:45 a.m. >> Yes. >> Okay. And so, he was out >> he went he was out during the day, came home super drunk, and then I started drinking. >> And this is in whose in his room? that it started in his room and then we went up to my room. The altercation happened in my room. >> Okay. What's his room? >> Um Oh, yeah. First, but that was earlier. >> What time was that? >> I would say that. What time would you say I was at room? >> Like 12? >> I would say 11. >> I would say >> like when did I come upstairs? >> Uh I was prior. I would say off campus at this time I would say it was about 11:50. >> Yeah. So like 11 you came to the dorm. >> Yeah. >> No later than like 12:30. >> Okay. >> Okay. So you were in his room. Okay. And then how long were you guys in his room? >> Um we had been in there I had been in there from I want to say around 7:00 p.m. till then >> the both of you guys >> he was sleeping. Yeah he was in the room too. He was asleep. And then he came up to my room. >> 2:00 a.m. He comes up to your room. What happens from there? >> So that's when we started arguing and like screaming at each other. And my roommate said that she heard us screaming. They came down. >> Um and this I had already we had already like hit each other by then >> and I was bleeding. There was blood everywhere. >> So then we kept arguing. I was still very drunk at this point. Um, he was still coming down from his drunk. We just kept arguing, kept arguing, and then he just smacked me. And I don't quite remember like how it really went from there, but all I know is he kept smacking me. Like I got hit multiple times. >> Okay. >> And then that's when they came in the room and like get out. They called campus safety. Campus safety showed up. They took um to his room and Yeah. And then I was dealing with campus safety from then till like 4:00 a.m. >> So you were smacked in the face several times. >> Yeah. >> From first appearances, it seemed to be just another case of young love gone wrong. But something about the woman's story was not adding up, and officers needed to understand what it was that she [music] wasn't telling them. >> I [snorts] hit him more than once, too, I'm pretty sure. Okay. And so then campus safety comes in. Who who called them? >> Okay. So they get there and he goes down to his room. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Have you talked to him since? >> Yes. >> Okay. What did What did he say? Um, basically he came to my room this morning. He apologized and then we like were kind of okay and then um I've been talking with my dad all morning. He my dad I called my dad in the com like in the middle of the um altercation and he wants me to press charges and um also my friends do as well. So, I told him that I was pressing charges and then um he's just been blowing up my phone like begging me to talk to him. >> How long have you guys been dating? >> Um we've been technically together for like almost it started not last November but the November before that. So, November 2023. >> It's like a year and a half. >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's his first name? >> What's his last name? >> Arreio. O R E C. Hold on one second. O R E C H I O. >> What's his date of birth? Is Do you know where he is right now? >> Yes. >> Is he in the room? >> He's in his room. >> Okay. >> What's your name? Yeah, I think >> Can I stop you over here for a second? >> Yeah. >> How long have you two been dating? >> Like a year and a half. >> Yeah, we haven't technically been together for a little while, but >> it was a little while. >> Um, as of like Jul. >> Okay. So, from August until now, were you just friends? Was there intimacy? Like would you consider it like an off and on relationship? >> Like we were pretty like kind of off and on but most like we still see each other. He sleeps with me every night. Like we still like are practically together but we're just not like there's no label. >> Okay. >> Is there a reason you guys don't label it if you're practically dating? >> Um yeah. Basically, we like had a lot of issues last year and um we kind of like both cheated on each other and there's just a lot of trust issues in our relationship. So, we just haven't really like fixed it. I keep trying to fix it, but he's very hardheaded. >> The red flags kept stacking up and soon the inconsistencies were impossible to ignore. At this point, the officer turned to her friend whose version of events changed the entire course of the investigation. So, what is your recollection of the incident? >> My recollection of the incident is Hold on. I have time stamps. So, last night I came in from my friend's dorm probably around I have my location. Let me see. Actually, not important, but I came in probably like 4:12, like 11:30ish or something like that. 11. Came into the door, saw sitting on the couch. She looked perfectly fine. Like, her face was good. >> She was balling her eyes out and I was like, "Okay, no." Like, she was getting really upset. Um, she was calling like everyone, yelling at them and whatever. Finally, she's standing outside the door with this guy that she knows and their friends and they were just going back and forth. She was like, "Let me go to He was like, "No." Basically, we get her inside. She doesn't go see him. We get her food, water. I literally put her in bed. I turn off the lights. She's in bed. She's good. >> This is in her room. >> Hasn't seen him for like maybe an hour or two, whatever. And then um it was me, my roommate, and her boyfriend who doesn't live on campus. We all just chitchatting before we put her to bed, whatever. >> And then [music] put her to bed. I'm like, "All right, I'm going upstairs." I go upstairs. I lay down for like 10, 15 minutes. I hear little faint screams, like tiny screams, and I'm like, "All right, I'm [music] like imagining something." And then I heard a big one, and I was like, "No way." And then I heard a like a loud scream. Like I was like, "What the hell is going on downstairs?" And I opened up my dorm and same with my roommate. We both rushed downstairs at the same time like crisscross applesauce with her head like in her hand. She doesn't have even though she we put her in a [music] poor bed. Her face is like all I see she's like he gave me a bloody nose. So I'm like okay. So I'm like putting back her hair getting her things ready. All I see is a big busted lip and she's like her whole comforter is covered in blood. Everything is just soaked. She's like profusely crying. She's shaking. She cannot talk. And I'm like, "What? What happened?" He's like, "She He hit me." And I was like, "What?" And then before this, before I even went downstairs, um I called campus safety. >> Now, fast forward, I went downstairs. Um he walked back into he walks back into the room. I don't know what that was, but he came back into the room and he was like, campus is here. Go wash your face in the sink. >> Did you see anything physical happen? >> Um I saw him like shove like a little bit when campus was here. Like pretty aggressively like on the same side, but like I didn't see him hit her or nothing. And he said he said that she hit him but he didn't touch her and she did that to himself. >> Okay. >> And then he got escorted back to her room and that was that. He didn't come over and now he's trying to right now currently he's [music] trying to guilt trip her like he's came to the door already. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. >> The officer was starting to see cracks in both women's stories and it became clear that only the boyfriend's account could set things straight. [music] >> Hit by a tire that flew off of a car. >> What's going on, man? >> All right. So, I got called, I guess, about an incident that happened early this morning, late last night. Um, first, do you have your ID on you? Uh, >> yeah. You want to sit or >> wherever you want? Where? Wherever you're comfortable. Yeah. >> All right. Um, so can you Yeah. Can you just explain what happened last night or this morning, I guess? >> Yeah. It was last or I [snorts] don't know, like 2:00 a.m., whatever it was. >> Um, I [clears throat] was in Fort Lauderdale with my friends >> at the beach. I came back >> um went to sleep and she went through my phone while I was >> Who's she? >> Um, >> okay. >> Went through my phone while I was sleeping. Um, I woke up to her hitting me. Like, that's what I woke up to was a punch. >> Where? Where did this take place? >> In her room. >> Her room? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you were sleeping in her room? >> Yeah. I So, I originally got back, knocked out here for a couple hours, went up to hers, knocked out, and then got woken up like that. >> So, she punched you is how she woke you up. >> And then we started arguing. Um, she told me like she went through my phone. I was like, "Okay." It just kept escalating. I was just trying to go to bed. like I just woke up and I got hit multiple multiple times and um from there like >> how >> what are you asking like >> I guess estimate estimate how many yeah how many times did she did she hit you >> all right yeah so the complete rundown I woke up she it was escalating argument she probably hit me like six seven times scratching me on my back >> do you have any marks >> yeah I have like couple scratches >> okay >> I'm not sure about my I don't know. Pulled it up or whatever. >> Yeah. Okay. >> I mean, >> I'm not sure. >> It might be a little little mark there. Yeah. >> Um and then Yeah. So, I had like pushed her off me and it's a small room. She tripped and fell into the side of the bed. [music] >> Okay. >> Then we're just we were still arguing. Still arguing. She's hitting me. And then [music] her room her her roommates came down. Campus safety came down. [music] Yeah. And then from there she scratched you and then >> my phone pushed me like it was going on for a while. >> Okay. So she hit you several times. >> Like I was trying to leave. I couldn't she wouldn't let me leave cuz she wanted me to sleep with [music] her but like it was just it was just >> um and I know you said you had some marks on your there some scratches. If you could just go ahead and pull your shirt up real quick. >> Okay. And that's from her scratching you. >> Okay. >> With each passing minute became increasingly clear who had truly sparked the altercation. Every inconsistency, every conflicting story pointed to the real instigator. With solid evidence in hand, and a mounting sense of urgency, the officer now had just one thing left to do. Can you just put [snorts] your phone on top of the car? >> All right. Put your hands behind your back. Okay. I'm going to explain what's going on. >> What? >> All right. I'm going to explain what's going on. >> What's going on? >> I'm going to tell you in a second. Just hold on. [sighs] >> What's going on? >> All right. So, you're being placed under arrest for simple battery dating violence. Okay. >> Is he getting arrested? >> No, he's not. Okay. >> Why? >> So, I'm going to explain. So, based on your story and his, I determined that you're the primary aggressor and you started the physical violence. Okay. So, that's why you're going to be arrested today. If you have any questions, let me know. I'll try to explain it. But that's what's happening. Okay. >> I'll explain it to you. Like I told you before, the victim loses the right to press charges when the investigation happens. If you're determined to be the primary aggressor, which you initiate the physical contact, It's you go [laughter] to jail. Um, so you don't call my dad, please. >> Yeah. Give me a second. I will say again that this is one of the other reasons that we leave the relationships when they turn out like this because nobody's saying how he retaliated against you was okay. >> Call file. Please call some call my dad. >> Give me a second. If she doesn't have the number, if you give me the code, I'll get it out of your phone and give it to her so she can call. >> Wait a second. Just in case he has >> My peep is in my pocket. >> Okay, we'll take care. She's going to search you and we'll take care of all that. >> Anything that you have on. She's your roommate, right? She lives there. Would you rather leave your jewelry and stuff with her to bring back because it all has to come off. So, your vape, things like that, your phone and the cards in there will go with you. Everything else I'll put in a bag and then that'll go with her. Okay. >> You don't have anything on you. >> I want to read the number back to you. >> Please call. >> Please put him on. Hold on one second because if he has questions, she's not going to be able to explain. >> I'll let you get it out of the >> How do you take the white? >> How do you take the bracelet off? >> This thing, right? >> I'll take >> Do you pull it? I don't. Okay. So, push it. Okay. 1934. I'm going to have a white female temp. >> What the female? [crying] >> The woman was escorted to the station where she was formerally charged with simple battery. As dramatic as that situation was, it was nothing compared to this psycho who lost her marbles over her man texting his baby mama. >> She wanted to put her hands on me and and hit me. >> Tell him what? I'm cool. You get out my face, you can get back cuz I ain't call you. Go talk to him. He called you. Get on my face. Who hit who first? >> I hit him first. >> Okay. You hit him first. >> You okay? >> For what? >> You're going to jail. >> I'm going to jail for what? >> I'm going to jail. >> On June the 15th, [music] 2025, officers from the Illinois Police Department responded to a call about a domestic dispute, but almost immediately [music] became clear that this was far from a typical lover's quarrel. >> Police. >> Come on, dude. >> I'm coming in. >> What's going on? >> He had to tell us. Tell me if you call me. >> You mind stepping out with me, please? >> No, I want to step out. This is my apartment, too. >> I All right. Well, we need to get separated >> cuz uh I need to talk to one at a time. >> She want to put her hands on me and and hit me. >> Tell them what? >> No, you don't want to tell. >> No, >> cuz I went to sleep. >> No, cuz she cheed on me with his bay mama. Let that be known. Don't forget that part. >> I'm going to show you messages with me and my baby mama. I'm not cheating on her. So she want since she want to think I'm cheating. I'm going to call her myself. >> Yeah, just just step out with I'm going to call her myself. >> That's cool. You mind stepping out with me? >> Step. I didn't call you. Make him step out. Stop talking. >> Stepping out. Baby >> this officer. She think she think I'm cheating on you. Cheating on you with her. >> Can you bro? >> Okay, cool. So do do me you kick it do me and you kick it on any type of level. Don't you got other men? Right. >> I just got >> what you say. >> I'm always in Chicago, bro. >> Exactly. I don't want to step out no more. Thank you. >> Just just talk to me though. And what happened? >> That's That's the reason right there. >> Are you okay? >> I'm cool. If you get out my face, you can get back cuz I ain't call you. Go talk to him. He called you. Get on my face. Thank you. It seemed like neither of them were ready to speak to the police despite having called the officers out. But with patience and careful questioning, the officer began to uncover the tricky event. >> What happened? You going to tell me what's going on or what? >> She she stopped throwing eggs. Look what going on. >> Just I see you're bleeding though. Where's that coming from? >> You said what? She hit you. >> Yeah. >> Only one person on charge. I did I never did. >> So who hit who first? I I hit him first. >> Okay. You hit him first. >> Y >> All right. Where Where' she hit you? >> My mouth. >> Okay. Keep going. >> I don't care, bro. I don't hear. I don't care. I don't care. >> All right. >> All right. So, she hit you and then you hit her back. >> Yeah. I hit her in the leg. I don't hear I don't hit females. >> No, I hit in my eye. Let that be known, too. Don't tell her. >> I hit her eye. >> She definitely did hit in my eye, too. >> Okay, I got you. Where at? >> Both my eyes >> just to prove a point. >> So, how is she going to give me some? >> All righty. So, how' the argument start, man? It's >> all this from your your mouth. >> So, from your mouth? >> Yeah. >> So, how the argument start, bro? How >> Yeah. How did it start? >> I was sleeping. She end up catching attitude cuz she It's Father's Day. I'm a father. So she end up asleep all day. I played the game. By the time she got up, I end up going to sleep. She was already sleep. She just woke up. >> Okay. >> Then I don't know. All I know is she tried to wake me up. I ain't get up. I was going to get up. She So she end up leaving the house. So I ain't going to lie to you. I didn't chase after her. I ain't chase after her like physically. I just want to see where she's going. I ain't found her. Whatever the case may be, I went to the store. I came back. >> So we're leaving. She came in accusing me of cheating with her mama. Hey man, she punch you. >> Yeah, like this or banana or >> sn goofy stuff. >> All righty. >> Things seemed calm [music] enough for the officers to hear the girlfriend's side of the story. So it seemed your version of what happened. >> Oh, he just told y'all what happened. What do y'all want to keep? Like why do y'all keep coming to ask me if he just told y'all what happened? >> So >> you see they keep talking to me like you telling me not to talk to them, but they talking to me. to find out. She told everything that would happen. >> We heard it from him. Now we >> That's what happened. WHAT Y'ALL WANT ME TO DO? TELL Y'ALL THE STORY. WE MAKE WHEN WE CHANGE THE story around. >> Whatever he said. >> Whatever he told you happened, I guess. Go ahead. Go with it. I don't tell my >> That's why we're asking you. That's what we're asking you. >> Go ahead. >> So he's telling us that >> he was sleeping. You came in and you got upset because he's talking to baby mama. So then you punched him in the face. >> That makes sense. So that's what happened, Anthony. >> I'm asking you. Is that >> Let me ask him. He He told you, right? That's right. >> He told me. Yes. Okay, I guess we go with that. We go with that. That sound good. >> That sound good. >> Okay. >> Why don't you just stand up for me? Okay. >> For what? >> Going to jail. >> I'm going to jail for what? >> I'm going to jail for what? >> Trying to take me to jail. Stop. Don't touch me. >> Don't take me to jail. >> Stop. Stop. They trying to take me to jail. Stop. He said he want to push hard. Stop. That's not how this works, though. Okay, stop. I'll tell you my resistance. I'll tell you my stop resist. I'm not resisting. I'm not New York. >> Turn around. >> Stop moving. >> Stop. >> Okay, stop. >> He just said he didn't want to press what he said. You're going to catch extra charges. >> He said, put your hands right now. I'm gonna come get here. >> Here. >> Stop moving this. >> I'm putting my hand behind my back. >> All right. Just face the wall. >> Just face the wall. That's it. victim first. All right. That's not how this works. State of Illinois, the victim doesn't get toys. Okay. >> How is he the victim? He put his hands on me, too. >> You punched him [music] first. >> He put his hands on me, too. Back. >> I got it. All right. You need some shoes? You want to get some shoes on? >> So, you can't police [music] station. >> Hey, we're going to the to the station, bro. She can call you back. Okay. >> She can record. >> I'm going to hang up on him, right? >> Call back. He hung up. >> She was right here. All right. Hold on. Dang. All right, let's go. Some pressure charging on domestic. He didn't press charges. >> He trying to He said that he didn't want to press. He said that for domestic >> all because I didn't want to tell him my side of the store. >> Come on, bro. I'M NOT GOING TO. YOU DON'T GOT TO GRAB me that type, bro. I'm a whole female. Bro, >> can you grab me cuz I don't want you touching me. Please. >> We're right here at the car. Can you tell me I don't You've been handling me, bro. Please chill out. You cut it down. >> It ain't nothing on me. I got you. Obviously, >> that's fine. She still has to patch you down. >> Okay. I want her touch me. I want you. >> That's fine. Just face it. >> Don't stick to her, right? >> No, not just get situated real quick. >> Just face the squad card. >> All right. >> The deranged girlfriend clearly had it coming. But what the officers hadn't yet uncovered was just how deep this toxic relationship ran. >> Hey, [snorts] can you just hold up a second? You're not going with her. You won't get a chance to talk to her. >> I'm so >> Hey, watch out behind you. But close the door. Close the door. >> Last I didn't I didn't say take you. So again, in Illinois, victims don't have a choice. If they tell us that the battery occurred, we can confirm that they're going [music] to jail. Okay. >> I hate cuz I know she would have called out first and it would have been I being caused. >> That's not how it works. >> Just because someone calls first, that's not how it works. >> Yes, it do. >> No, it does not. I've been doing this for over 20 years. I'm telling you that is not how it works. [music] I don't know why everyone has this misconception of that's how it works. I called first. That's not how arrest work. Okay. If she doesn't want to tell us her side, we're going off of your side. And you said that she came in and struck you first, so you hit her back. You have an injury. She doesn't. >> All right. I don't have a better way of explaining this to you, but usually the victims of >> they let go on for far too long before they finally call. I'm not saying that's the situation here, but that's why the state of Illinois is the way that it is. Okay? They take the they take it out of the victim's hands on whether or not they want to pursue charges. Charges can be dropped at a later date, but for now, we're trying to keep the victim safe. That victim is you. So that's why she's going. All right. If you don't feel safe in this home around her because of incidents like what happened today, you can call safe passage. The ladies there can help you out. Possibly get an order of protection if you feel that you need to go that route. If you don't want to deal with safe passage, instructions are right here on how to obtain one. Okay. So that's yours. >> This is also your stuff. Um, I have another sheet that has a bunch of questions on it. Um, I'm required to go over with you, but it's completely up to you. Do you want to answer any more questions about what happened today? >> No. All right. >> Do you feel safe here? >> I still feel safe by myself. >> Okay. What about when she comes back? >> I know. I know it's a stupid question coming from one man to another. I get that. >> I don't know. I'm going to have to guess some day cuz she leaving. >> Has she ever been arrested before? >> She'll probably be out within like a day or two. That would be my guess. I don't know. >> In the end, the woman was formerly charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest. Encounters like that are only part of the mess toxic girlfriends can cause. But this girlfriend took things up a notch when she tried putting her hands on the cops as well. >> Are you guys having an argument? >> You guys having an argument? I'll hand them to you. They're not really sport pin, but >> Hello, Daddy. Can you please please >> tell these people to leave me alone? >> On October the 12th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a local hotel after multiple reports of screaming and a physical altercation. At the center of the trouble was a toxic girlfriend whose explosive behavior had turned the situation into a full-blown [music] fiasco. >> Don't worry about it. Just let me in here try to get my out of here. >> Okay, I got to talk to both of you guys. >> Okay, cool. I'm >> Come on. >> Hey, I I haven't done anything. >> Okay, girl. I ain't got no glass. I can't even see right now. Get out of my face. >> I'm not in your face. >> Stop. >> I cannot see. I need glasses. >> Can you Can you get her glasses, please? >> Thank you. So, what's going on tonight? >> I can't see. I need glasses. Do you not see? I'm damn blind. >> Okay, please back up. >> Lady, don't put your hands on me. >> I got close. So, what's [music] going on? >> Are you guys having argument? >> You guys having an argument? What's going on? >> Let me out of the closet. I can let you out as soon as I finish having this conversation with both. This is broke. >> Okay, that's fine. Okay, I have my partner being here in a little bit. Okay, there's nothing in them. Do you still want them? >> I cannot see either way. What the You need. >> Baby, baby, baby. This >> y'all are getting my nerves. >> This This didn't have to happen.
