You don't have to abide by traffic laws like everyone else does and all this yada yada yada. On this ride-along, an officer pulls apart Velcro. I like it. Another taps on a window. And a woman says she hasn't done anything. >> I haven't done anything. Yep. Yep, that's going to be a bingo square. All right, internet. I'm Frank Slope. I'm a 24-year veteran of the sheriff's office out here in Arizona. Today, we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. Police ride-alongs is the channel where we found today's video. While we're playing, boom, body cam bingo is what we're going to be doing. So, this is card number three, the card we're going to be using today. These are brand new on our online store, frieswithfrank.com. So, it comes in a pack of five. They're made of cardstock, use a dry erase marker, you can play along. So, we're using card three today. We're going to see how it goes. Yeah, because I am part of the American state republic. Oh, American state republic. >> that we don't have to have tags registration anymore. You know that. Okay. Your license? Yes, I do. The woman gave the officer a picture card with her name and date of birth. The card also said American state citizen, the United States of America unincorporated. >> And I just want you to know I'm traveling in my private vehicle. I am not operating in commerce. Of course. Okay. And that's why I do not need a tag or registration. >> Sure. I don't even have to have a driver's license. >> No. As soon I just got that, so I haven't had a chance to address my other identification, but this is the new identification. It covers passport, driver's license, all of that. And it has all the documents in there. >> Oh, it's all in there. >> to look at? Okay. Okay. She hands her some sort of made-up fictitious identification that's a driver's license, an ID card, a passport. If she had a fishing pole, she'd probably say it was a fishing license, too. And this officer is like, yeah, absolutely not. Which is the same thing that a Customs and Border Protection field officer would say if she presented this at a at a port of entry. Absolutely not. Like, this is just it it's like she lives in fantasy land. It's like identifying as a panda. Like, you just you can't just make things up and because you think they're true, it's true. But, if she's looking for somewhere where you can have an ID that's both a driver's license and a fishing license, Slobbovia stan is the place for her. Ladies and gentlemen, the Republic of Slobbovia stan is now officially a sovereign nation. So, I'm at least going to need to look at your VIN on your car. No, you don't have to look at anything. This is my private vehicle. Okay. Okay. And I'm traveling. I am not operating in commerce. Travel with your shoes? Okay. I know I don't I don't want to I know you're going to lose your job. I did do that. Yep. But, all a lot of that is going to be changing. Okay. So, you said it's going to be changing and it's not It has changed. Okay. As of right now? As of January the 1st, no one else is going to ever have to have a driver's license registration. Just as January 1st of what >> Oh. next year, 2025. We're still in 2025. >> It doesn't matter. I am not a US citizen. I'm an American state national. Okay. I am an American citizen. Okay. The officer would wait for another unit to arrive before taking the next step. >> That's what I would do. I'm not getting out of my car. Ma'am, step out of the car. >> No. I'm not getting out. You don't have a warrant. Because Pennsylvania V Mims says I can order you out of the vehicle. >> If you're a law enforcement officer in the United States of America, you have heard in the police academy of Pennsylvania V Mims. Um, it is it is a Supreme Court case that gives us a ton of flexibility in how to deal with people during the course of a traffic stop to which they are legally detained uh under the Fourth Amendment. So, we we commit a seizure of these people while they are being seized or in the process of being seized, um we can direct them how we need to for both our safety and theirs. Um, also in the course of committing an offense, we can take someone into custody. Um, so this officer that that spouts this out right off the top of his head, obviously, he's knowledgeable. This isn't his first day on the job. His articulation of Pennsylvania V Mims and the necessity of to remove someone from a car is absolutely right on. And even though she seems to think that her rights are being violated, they're absolutely not because they're doing everything the right way. They're saying that Pennsylvania V Mims is ordering me out of the car. Yep. >> Ma'am, I need you to step out of the car. >> I have not committed any crimes. Mhm, I don't know about that. Right now, you are committing a crime. You're resisting. Yep. He's saying that I'm me not getting out of my car, he's saying that I'm being resisting. Here it comes. No, you need to step out. You need to step out right now. Okay. You're resisting. Hey, so I'm just in a 14, I'm about to bust her window out pepper blaster. There we go. I love when we get to see officers put the gloves on because you know, sometimes people are sweaty or they're nasty. Before I go hands-on with someone, I love to put gloves on. Um, it's just it it gives you better grip. Um, in a case like this where you're going to be breaking a window, there could be broken glass. It prevents you from being cut. It's just a great idea. And I love that both of these officers just they don't even have to say it, they just know that they need gloves and they both put them on. You know it's going to go down. Get those gloves on. Yeah, it's up against the curb. Like, she's in the parking stall. She's up against the curb in a large median area. Can you please ask your supervisor to come here? >> Yep. Get out of the car, ma'am. No, I don't have supervisor request on this one. >> Why are you making me get out OF MY CAR? HE'S A BETTER glass break. There it is. GET OUT OF THE CAR. WHY? GET OUT OF THE CAR RIGHT NOW. >> I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING. GET OUT Get out of the car. What are you going to get tased? I didn't do anything. What are you doing? What are you doing? I love it. What What are you >> Stop resisting. I'm not resisting. I'll take I'm not resisting. You were just telling me to get out of my car. Well, and you didn't. >> He just gave you a lawful order to get out of the vehicle, correct? Correct? Yep. What's that belief system now? And you're violating my constitutional rights. So, right now, your handcuffs are not double locked. Love it. Tell me what crime I've committed. Right now, it's resisting, ma'am. I haven't resisted. This man I'll take I'm not resisting. Stop that one. I gave it to you. I gave you my It's not a driver's license. I asked you to give me my driver's license. Repost that point. I already asked you for it. You asked me for my ID. No, I asked for your driver's license. And I gave it to her as a passport. >> And I didn't ask for anything. I told you to get out and you didn't. I know, but you had didn't even identify yourself. You're wearing a uniform. Come here. Okay. Can you give him the card? I want Please get your supervisor here. So, listen, can you give him my card? And on the back, it has all the information. Those codes right there are for you guys. That's what they're for. She also said everything's going to be changing soon. Next year, next year, you don't need licenses. Yes. And I'm not I'm I'm an American state national. I am not a US citizen. Yes, United States of America, not US citizen. Not the incorporated. Not incorporated under the Constitution. Well, then you can't drive on United roads. No, I don't want to sign. 26 she has a VIN block. I'm just trying to get to it. It's on the door. Okay, I'm searching you. Make sure you don't have any weapons, any contraband that is not allowed in the vehicle. I don't have any. You're taking me to jail? Oh, yeah. For resisting resisting. Yeah. I'm going to take for what? So so far in this video, we're in card number three. In card number three, we've got three boxes that are checked. I didn't get a bingo. So I looked at some of the other cards and I have three other cards where everything that said so far would have given us a bingo. We just didn't pick the right card so far. But when you order these, you get five different cards. So if you would have picked one of these other three, if you were following along at home, you'd have a bingo. So order all five and you'll get more bingos than I have. Try the try the VIN. It's right here. He's going to do his thing. You're going to sit in my car with him. He's ready to talk to you. Talk. Oh, I love it so much. You know, when you guys hit it, that's when she cooperated. After I punched it several times and then it finally like broke through then she was willing to open the door and then I didn't I I didn't like blast. Okay, good. So this officer tells the sergeant, "Hey, I didn't even use my pepper spray." And everyone is happy about that because when you use pepper spray, not only does it get on the person that you're deploying it on, but then it's in their car. So then when you're searching the car, you're getting it. Then you pull them out, you put them in your car, the air swirls, it gets in your face, it's terrible. Um you'll notice the device that they had, it's a single shot launcher. It's made by PepperBall. We have them in my agency. Um they are incredibly effective at a very close distance. Like exactly meant for this, for getting people out of vehicles. Um it's good that he didn't have to use it and you know, they were able to just put their hands on this lady and yank her out. >> Um I'm I'm I'm allergic to air fresheners. Okay. Okay. So can I keep my head out? I'm really allergic to air fresheners. Okay, thank you. But it's really strong in here. I want to have an asthma attack. I'll put the window down. I'm allergic to air fresheners. Get out of here. All right, what's up? I did not resist arrest. She You did not? No, sir. So why was the window broken? Because he just walked up to me, didn't announce who he was, didn't tell me what was going on. He just said, "Get out of your car." And I said, "Why am I So you you were dealing with a police officer already and uh And then the chief of police came to my side and never announced himself. Okay, he doesn't have to. But you have eyes. Another officer was there. No, sir. Well, then we should just release you. Yes. >> Yes, you should. When people ask for a supervisor and a supervisor shows up, I've never ever not once ever seen that supervisor make a different call than the officers on scene. It's never happened I that I've seen. I'm sure it's happened somewhere but I've never seen it happen where someone like this is has these sovereign beliefs and they demand a supervisor and then the supervisor gets there and goes, "Oh, no. No, cut that person loose. Absolutely not." That has never happened in the history of forever. I don't know where these people get the idea that calling a supervisor is going to change the direction of the investigation, but it's not. And this good for this sergeant cuz this sergeant isn't hearing one bit of the nonsense that she's spewing and I love that he calls her on it. I love it. >> I have not broken any laws. Here's I haven't broken any crimes. Here's the facts. You thought that you were going to be able to do whatever you wanted to do and that we weren't going to yank you out of your car. Actually No, I I love big serge. I love this. Pretty nice compared to maybe how I would have handled it. Because I probably would have put an axe pick through that thing, shoveled out the entire glass and dragged you out that window. If you are told to exit the vehicle, you exit the vehicle. That's the thing. First of all, it got to the point you weren't listening to the initial officer. Who Who by the way by the way is a very nice officer. Okay. Okay. And then you were told several times to exit the vehicle. Yes or no? I You don't No, no, no, no, stop. This is where you make the mistake. Were you ordered out of the vehicle? Yes or no? Yes. It's a yes or no. Were you ordered out of the vehicle? Okay, then you don't have to talk to me. You're the one who asked me to talk. No, he's not coming here. All right, Karen. I want them I want the manager's manager. I am the watch commander. I am the watch commander. Sir. I am the watch commander. How many times do I have to say it? What other language do you speak so I can help? Sir. I am an American state national. And I gave her what she asked me for. No. She asked me for my ID. I She asked you for a driver's license. She did not come back and ask for something else. And then she did. She came back and asked for my VIN and I said, "You know what? I am traveling as a private citizen in my private vehicle. You guys do not HAVE PERMISSION TO BE in my car. But we are. Because you're under arrest and we're towing you. Please tell me why I'm under arrest. At the very least resisting. I didn't resist. Unregistered motor vehicle in the state of Florida. It is not a crime not to have a tag or a license. I am an American citizen. I am not a Talk to the court. I am an American state national. I am not a US citizen. Look. Whoever filled your head up with this stuff, I'm sorry. It's not real. So that's on you. Okay. Call it. But sir, I have not committed any crime. Ma'am, I we explained to you It is not a crime not to have a tag or a license. Yes, it is. It is not a crime. Yes, it is. No, it's not. We deal with sovereign citizens all the time. You're not the first one. I'm an American state national. Well, you know what? Sovereign citizens don't There's potatoes and patatas and tomatoes and tomatos. American state national {slash} sovereign citizen, whatever. Because now you're changing your name so that way, you know, it's like, "Oh, it's not the same thing." It's the same thing. You're free to travel. This lady gets called a sovereign citizen and she becomes all defensive and she's like, "I'm an American state national." It's all the same. It's they're all synonyms of the same weird belief system. It's the same as if you're a Moorish citizen or if you're a private citizen or a private person or whatever you want to say. They're all the same. It's a it's it's just a belief system that the laws don't apply to you and it's it's false no matter where you're at. You know, you're free to travel. You don't have to abide You travel with your two shoes. laws and all this yadda yadda yadda. Look, it just it gets tiring. It gets tiring of this. Um It is about being honorable and not doing any harm. Sure. Um You said you wanted to plead the fifth. You got You got your chance to plead the fifth. You don't have to say anything incriminating. Okay? Put that window up so you don't have to listen to her anymore. >> No, ma'am. That's too late now. We already broke the window. Once we break a window, nah, you're going. So Yep. Yeah, big serge. Couldn't happen to a nicer lady. That's the the new thing now, I guess. Um so the sovereign citizens say say they're American state citizens. I am not a sovereign citizen. Yeah, cuz she's like, "I'm an American state citizen. I don't go under the Constitution." It's the same thing as a sovereign. Which is funny cuz she said she doesn't go under the Constitution, but she pled the fifth, which is an amendment to the Constitution. So I don't think you can pick which one you want. So that happened. She was charged with resisting without violence. The very next week she'd get arrested again for failing to register a motor vehicle. She'd plead no contest to that charge and serve 7 days in jail. Yes. Traffic cameras captured her vehicle with a Florida license plate 2 months later, perfect. But the registration was still [music] expired. >> No bingo today. On card number three, we got three squares. They just weren't in the right order. So if you want to talk about our new body cam bingo squares, anything else that you want join our live chat. It's going to be Sunday, March 22nd, 3:00 in the afternoon. You can go right here.
