As soon as I walk in the room, it smells like freaking in here. What's your name? What's your name? Let's start with your name. >> What the do you want? >> You committed a crime. That's what I want. Quit getting shitty with me. You want to go in handcuffs and go to jail? Quit giving me your lip. So, that's what you're going to jail for. Third-degree felony. And Yeah. Oh, no. And resisting. Oh, no. Some high schoolers think passing pills in the hallway is just harmless fun. What happens when one mistake brings their entire operation crashing down [music] and they realize the cops are on their trail. Don't touch Oh, he's not going to snatch that, is he? Now, you're going to be taken into custody. >> Yep. So, I got to use relax. Yep. You got to relax. Yep. So, you can either do this or >> Get out of my face. I don't know. Oh, it's plastic. You got to shake in here. Here are the times high school druggies realize they've been caught. Starting with a junkie teen who flipped out after deputies found vapes on her. You go if I I don't know exactly how this is going to go, but one of the cards on the table is you're going to jail today. Wait, what? >> You have illegal substances in your possession. >> at school does, too. >> Everybody? Yes. What are you You're an adult. What are you doing? >> This is how you solve it? By offering to kids on campus? [laughter] Okay, why are you holding drugs? For my friend. On March 26, 2024, officers were called to a high school after the staff found multiple THC vapes on a student. The news came as a shocker to the officers, but nothing could have shocked them more than the 19-year-old's attitude towards the crime. You're an adult, right? Yeah. I don't know. You're apparently new here. She's 19. She's a adult. >> Right. So, you're an adult, right? So, here's the deal. Like, you go if I I don't know exactly how this is going to go, but one of the cards on the table is you're going to jail today. Wait, [music] what? Correct. Depending on what those are, there's a possibility that you may go to jail today. Right. So, >> Just because someone reported? You have illegal substances in your possession. >> at school does, too. >> Everybody? Yes. Every single kid? Not every single kid, but some do. Okay. And matter of fact, Right. So, you're not You wouldn't be the first kid I arrested this school year. So, here's And I can promise you you're not going to be the last. So, Okay, this is not how life goes. You don't get to choose when you bring illegal stuff to a high school. When you bring illegal stuff to a high school, what you want kind of goes out the window. I don't know if you understand that. So, Here Here's my thing is I think that what you have is the pen that these screw into. >> No, I don't. Right here. I don't. That's someone else's. Okay, it's someone else's. All right. So, I don't have it. You don't have it in your possession? >> it. Who took it? Is it someone who goes to school here? >> The person that literally probably named me here. Okay. So, what I'm thinking is you have something You have something right here. >> You already have decided it was a good idea to take in possession all this stuff knowing it's illegal. And that you're an adult. And that you're an adult. Yeah. Why? I didn't I didn't know that someone was going to tell on me that I was holding their stuff. Who was it? She was blonde with glasses. >> sold it to a stranger now? No, it's not a stranger. I've known her. So, what's her name? Never got her name. You never got So, it's a somebody you don't even know their name? She has glasses and blonde and she asked me for my name. I never asked So, she asked you for your name then proceeded to give you felonious items. Items that can result in a felony criminal charge for you to hold. And when were you going to meet up When were you going to give it back to this person? Wait. In the bathroom later? What bathroom? Wait, I don't know. So, They go into a different bathroom. So, so how were you going to give it back to them? What was the plan? So, people just give people stuff and just say, "I will find you later"? Yeah. >> That's how it works. This is the first I'm hearing of this. Very rarely is it that much of a shadow >> But today, she did ask me, "Hey, can you hold this shit?" and then asked me my name. And then now I'm right here for the first time ever for this type of stuff and I'm about to get arrested. You know it's illegal. If I give you a and I say you hold it for me, are you going to hold it? for me? >> No, it's just that The shock on the teen's face was almost laughable since it was obvious that her actions would have consequences, especially for a serious offense like substance possession. Who do you live with? I'm Grandma. She has cancer. So, what are you doing? What are you You're an adult. What are you doing? This is how you solve it? By offering drugs kids on campus? This is how you Dude, kids, what do you think What do you think Santa Oh my god, those are not mine. Okay, why are you holding drugs? For my friend. That's being depressed or that's being I think being depressed and holding for your friend are two different things, my friend. Yeah, I promise I'll pay you. Okay. No. Why not? They're not mine. Okay, so why are you Unfortunately, I just want you to understand No, I understand. You don't have to dumb it down for me. This person doesn't If we can't locate this person, this person doesn't come forth and identify it as theirs, you're going to be responsible for it. No, I know I am. Okay. And that's why I'm really stressed out. Okay. And so, >> [bell] >> whatever you have on your person cuz I can't be Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. I'm going to get arrested anyways, so Stop. I'm going to turn it over to law enforcement. So, whatever Whatever you have, you got to just give it to Mrs. We're going to step out. You're going to give it to Mrs. Dupont and it's going to go with this. >> have anything. Okay, then this then this is what happens because it is now turned over to law enforcement and law enforcement has a female officer coming in a secluded room and they search you. So, here's the deal. And and that's if it goes that way. If it doesn't, then you're going to go to the jail and they're going to search you. They're going to search you at the jail. If you bring something to the jail, it's a felony, an additional felony. So, right now, if you have anything, we're going to It is important that you just give it to us. We're trying to help you. This is our chance. If she has something on you, they will search you to the jail. They will search you there. If you have something on you at the jail, You're going to get searched at the jail. Every person that comes into the jail gets searched. I know that. They do full searches. So, if you have something Where is the Where is the Where is the piercing located? Near my eye. Is it like >> not have any more awkward questions, please? I'm already going to jail for the first time So, I I I feel like I feel like I feel like we're all being adults about this situation. Okay? This is my first time going to jail. I got you. I'm leaving. I under I understand that, but I'm We're trying to have an adult conversation here. I understand. Again, >> [music] >> you chose to get this piercing, so it's like >> No, I know that it's not fair. >> with this conversation. Well, I need to ensure that I need to ensure that what's going on here is that it's actually what it is. Yeah, I understand that. >> So, I I've been nothing but professional with you, obviously. I'm frustrated by the situation because like I don't understand why you're not understanding what's going on here. >> that. Can I Can I use the bathroom? You're not Yeah. I I need to pee. No, you cannot use the restroom at all. Cuz you're not on the police >> know. I know that. It seemed that while the teen demanded to be treated like an adult, when it came to taking responsibility, she acted like a child. But the officers, they went full and they made it clear exactly what consequences would follow. I need you not to get up out of these and I'm pretty sure these are These are THC for sure. Well, she said that that that that THC. Yeah. So, they probably are. Yeah, they are. I arrested someone before spring break for this same brand. This one I don't know what it is cuz this one isn't the same brand. Yeah. So, if this other person gave you up, and that's what you're saying. Besides blonde and glasses, what does this person look like? She's tan. And what bathroom was this [music] this take place in? And what time? Like, um The officers could tell that the girl was lying about the blonde student who supposedly handed her the substances. And as the questioning continued, every new answer only made her version of events sound more unbelievable. >> Some people love to tell on purpose even if they also smoke as well. People Someone telling on somebody else No, no, they have hate. You have no idea. But you said that she gave you the stuff. No, I didn't say anything. So, they asked You said that this person asked you to hold their stuff for them. Yeah. So, it was downstairs 200 between what classes? Um fifth. So, it was during fifth? Yeah. >> Or [music] Then I heard someone nearby say, "Oh, watch out. There's a tattletale in here." >> In the middle of fifth period? Yeah, either during class during or before or after. During, before, or after during class? >> a That's like an hour time frame. That doesn't really help me. I'm We're trying to help We're trying to help you. >> before Before Before fifth period? Downstairs 200 before fifth period. In the bathroom? In the bathroom. Okay. Do you remember what she was wearing? Not much. She have any distinguishing features, glasses? >> glasses, downstairs, 200 building restroom, before fifth period is the one that she gave >> you the stuff in the bathroom or outside of the bathroom? Inside. If it was outside, pretty sure it would have been on the cameras. Like in the in front of the bathroom or in the bathroom? Inside of the bathroom, okay. She She gave her that stuff and asked her her name. Hey, what's your name? I said Natalia and then I left. Okay, well, break it down for me the whole situation. Start from the beginning. Well, I went to the restroom. Okay. So, I was talking to some of my friends. Okay. Uh and then she um she was like, "Hey, can you >> She was in there, she came in after? >> She was in there. She came in and I'm pretty sure some of her friends were smoking. But they're Did you see them? Yeah. Okay, so you you you're not pretty sure, you you saw them smoking. >> And One of her friends was like, "Oh, remember last time?" And then bought, you know, and then she came >> No, I don't know what that means. Like [music] they I don't like it's because of I can't arrest you. I can't charge you for what you buy in the past. So, that's what you did. That's what happened in the past. I can't >> Oh my god, you're just not waiting. Okay, so >> You're not explaining it. So, she came up to me after me talking to her friend. And then she's like, "Hey, can you hold my stuff?" And then she uh I was about to leave. She's like, "What's your name?" And then I say Natalia and then I leave. >> None of the explanations added up. Yet, the girl continued throwing out every possible excuse she could think of, only making a bigger fool of herself in the process. >> So, how did she introduce you? She's like, "Hey, can you can you hold these? These are empty." Okay, and you said, "Sure." Yeah, they're empty. Are they though? Yeah. You sure about that? I mean, some of these have THC oil in them. You just told me they're empty. I guess at one point they stopped working. Sure. I already used some of the pens. She told me I'm You should know not to take things from strangers, especially that are drug related. I think that's what you should know versus whether they're empty or not. I mean, common sense, unfortunately. Being kind by taking drugs or used drugs I don't use I'm saying uh taking the carts from someone that wanted you to hold them for a bit and then [music] she asks you your name. >> If you want to church them up, if you want to church it up however you want. >> Church it? I'm not I'm not Christian. >> That's it's a figure of speech. [music] This is not like What I'm saying is you're taking it and you're sugarcoating >> It's not sugarcoating So, taking paraphernalia from somebody You put pronouns on it. The kids say >> is. It's drug paraphernalia. >> [music] >> Okay, in the eyes of the law, there's no possession of a cart. It's possession of a THC oil, possession of paraphernalia, right? So, I speak in legal terms. I don't care what the kids say. What cuz the kids are the reason why you're in this position. >> No, I know that. So, let's not talk like kids, let's talk like adults cuz you're an adult. >> because this girl said I had a gun at school. They checked my bag and everything. I didn't show them the text messages of her going to my house, literally fighting me. And also they found nothing. It was my birthday. Sure. I I understand that is a situation that's done >> cuz I thought you came from Georgia. Did you live in Miami? >> I came from Miami and I went to Georgia cuz our mom moved us. >> [clears throat] >> Yeah, I don't know what the situation was in Miami. I have nothing to do with that. What I can tell you is we have a legal aid. >> to have to watch out to the kids. We're in the process of doing that. No, they're being coming drug addicts. I understand that. That's why >> school students, too. >> I'm That's why I'm here. Wait, why elementary school students? >> like you who are engaging in allowing this stuff to continue instead of coming and notifying people about what's going on. >> me. To be honest that's not If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Sorry to tell you that. Yeah, true, but also Despite how ridiculous she sounded, the 19-year-old refused to learn her lesson, further complicating the situation [music] by spinning yet another fairy tale. You don't want to help yourself out or do you want to go to jail today? Like what what do you want to do? I don't want to go to jail. So, some mysterious female told you these boxes look pretty, do you want them, and gave you six vials of THC. That That's the story. She literally asked me in the restroom >> Yes or no? Yes. Okay, what restroom? Downstairs, we got all that info. They're trying to pull cameras or So, when I go through the cameras and I pull all this >> too. She's got blonde hair. I'm going to see a female come out and then you come out. No, I came out first. I said She asked me my name before I left. >> What's she look like? Blonde, glasses, tan. What's she wearing? >> hair? Uh blonde. Blonde. >> What's she wearing? Wearing. Yeah. What normal teenagers wear? >> Give me a color shirt, pants I think white. >> Any identifying factors. So, all I'm looking for is a blonde female, tan, with glasses. Yeah. Downstairs, too. Tall, short >> Fifth before fifth period. >> Shortish, shortish. Like my height. >> So, what happens when that this female doesn't exist? Then what? Are we going to have another conversation? >> a kid in my class. She asked me my name in the restroom. And you didn't ask her name. Why would I Like she This is a random per This is a random person I see every day. Yeah, so let me ask you a question. >> you to hold some things. >> So, this random person >> finally asked me my name. I think it was a nice thing. I tell her my name and I leave the restroom. And then >> said your friends knew her. Yeah. So, this random So, who are your friends? Who are your friends that know her? That know her. It's cuz we can ask her friends who the girl is. No, they're not going to tell. Okay. What's your friends' names? One is in my class. I don't talk to her. So, I'm So, you got friends that you don't talk to now. You got random people that you see every day. Which kind of friends are they? >> But you said that they're in the class with your friends. But you said last night you said you had friends >> I had a lot of friends in the restroom that knew them. Okay, what was the girl? Who is that friend? And I can go ask her like who the girl thing is. Mia what? >> Yeah, Mia. Mia? >> Mia. Mia? What does Mia look like? She doesn't smoke, but she's a She has a She's skinny, tan, glasses, like a Blonde hair? Blonde hair? >> No, no, brown. It's blonde and any scrubs. [music] The girl I'm talking about is basically a little white girl that >> any classes with this girl? No. This random girl that you hang with, do you not got classes with her? She in the same grade as you? I think so. You think so? All right, let me ask you something. If this random girl asked you to hold a gun, you going to take it? >> No. >> Okay, so what is the difference? Cuz >> [clears throat] >> the the logic of children thinking they're doing >> You're not a child, you're an adult, you're 19 years old. You can't blame Before long, it became clear that the teen's facade had concealed and the confident, nonchalant facade that she had been clinging to was about to crumble entirely. >> All right, so I'm not being sugar. No, I know what you're coming here for. Okay, do you have anything on you? >> No, they took it. Okay. And uh I my boyfriend bought it for me. Do you think it's smart that you hold on to it though? No, I thought I just thought that I don't know if someone would tell on me. I didn't share it with anyone. That doesn't matter. You're still in possession of it. >> Okay. I know what it >> You have nothing on you at all. >> Okay, you You understand that if you go to the jail and they find anything on you, it's a felony for an adult. >> be more trouble. Yeah, at this point you probably had ample amounts of chances >> No, I had a lot of chances. >> really stupidly scared and I get like that sometimes. >> Okay, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to have you face up against the wall. All right, like you you said you don't have anything on you, right? No, go ahead, spread your feet. Further. You know what I'm saying? I'm really disappointed in myself. I've never been caught with that in this school. I don't know what you think about it. Doesn't matter, you shouldn't have it regardless. How old are you? 19. What do you mean? It's two shirts. You have two shirts on underneath? >> No, it's more like a bra. It's A bra or a tank or a tank top or and then they are small. I'm really sorry. Don't even apologize to me. >> No, I I'm saying I'm sorry to them. You don't have to be sorry. We just gave you ample opportunity. No, I know that. You don't have to tell me that like a thousand times. I already destroyed the opportunity. You done nothing but lie. >> I know I just stopped believing. >> All right, take a seat. The girl was charged with possession of a controlled substance along with additional school disciplinary actions for her involvement in the incident. The series of bad decisions did not stop there as this rowdy teen got mouthy with officers once they found substances on her. You got any other stuff in your bra or anything? I'm 17 years old. Okay. So, this is a crime. Oh, no. It's a third-degree felony. Oh, no. On August the 30th, 2024, police responded to a high school after reports that a 17-year-old [music] had brought substances to campus. And when they arrived, it quickly became clear that there were far bigger problems that [music] officers have to deal with. >> This is what I wanted to know. It smells like freaking in here. We got smart mouth. You keep asking the damn same question over and over again. Can I be Hey, hey. What's your name? What's your name? Let's start with your name. >> [ __ ] do you want? >> a crime. That's what I want. Quit getting smart with me. You want to go in handcuffs and go to jail? Quit your lip. I don't I'm not a staff. I'm not a teacher here. You're messing with messing with a violation of the law. So, you be respectful. You got it? Can I be respectful while you ask me the same dumb question over and over again? Let's turn it down. Knock it down a little bit. I'm asking Okay. Well, this is what we're going to do then. Since we're going to be this way. Obviously, you've been to teen court before. Have you gone that route before? So, right now I'm Deputy Cribb. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and have them with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand these rights? Yes? No? You're just going to stare at me? You have to at least say yes or no. A head nod or word. You're on camera. Do you understand your rights? So, you're not answering the question cuz I'm what? I can't Okay. Well, here's how we're going to do this. Issue resolved. Take your shoes off. With each rise in the girl's volume, the officer's patience grew thinner. And when she continued to refuse to cooperate, he decided that he had reached his limit. You got any other stuff in your bra or anything? I don't want to see them. I just asked you a simple question. Okay? Why are you getting so violent and so Better not ball your fists. How old are you? I'm 17 years old. Okay. You balled your fist up at me? You're under arrest. Give me your hands. I told you not to ball your fist. You're going to get in my face. No. 10-4. 17-year-old female juvenile. 10-50 thing. Get up. Get up on your own power. You're going to I'm going to charge you with another charge. Sit down. You got anything else on you before they take you to jail cuz they're going to search Okay. Just leave you alone. Um I don't have anything wrong with me. So, this is a [clears throat] crime. Oh, no. It's a third-degree felony. So, that's what you're going to jail for. Third-degree felony. And you. And resisting. Oh, no. Okay. I'm going to look that one up. That one may or may not apply. I'm going to look that one up, too. Okay. Where's all her belongings at? Okay. That was you? You do me a favor watch her while I go get some gloves. Thanks. Oh, that'll work. Yeah, I'll just take that glove. At this point, her poor judgment had caused enough damage. If she were reasonable enough, her best bet was to be a little less rowdy and avoid catching herself some more charges. Sit down. Sit down. Thank you. All right, bye. Stop. I told you to stop. Now, you kicked me. I told you to stop. >> [screaming] >> No. Let me swing her. Stop. Just stop. Stop screaming. It's not helping you. Just stop. >> [laughter] [singing] >> Okay, settle down. We'll get off of you. It was clear that as the situation unfolded, the girl's tough guy facade was starting to crumble. By that point, the officers were fully aware of her erratic tendencies and they weren't about to take any more chances with her. Take a deep breath. >> [laughter] >> Stop banging your head. Stop. Quit. This is a really minor thing you're turning into something else. Hey. There's no need in it. Hey, Pal. Let's try to move you, okay? We're going to go and get you up, okay? There we go. Good job. See you later. Thank you. You got a See if something will restrain her. I don't know. Something to restrain feet. We're going to need one. She's going to kick and show herself. I got I got I got leg shackles in my car. It's okay. Just breathe. We're not going to let you hurt yourself. We're not going to hurt you. Your mom's not going to kill you. It's okay. >> [laughter] [screaming] >> Palace, I hear you. Palace, I hear you. You don't need to scream, okay? We're here listening to you. >> [laughter] >> Got something better. >> [laughter] >> Yeah, I got possession of THC, battery Leo, and resisting. Okay. All right. Come on, Palace. Hey, LT. You want to grab her other leg, please? Somebody just for support underneath. Thanks. It's unlocked. LT's on your side. I'll hang on to her bag. Hang on to her bags. All right, you got her? You're getting out? Go ahead. Thanks. Hop that over. And 1 2 3. There we go. All right. After after her latest stunt, the officers could only hope that she would finally run out of steam. Little did they know this young girl had no concept of quitting and she was far from done causing trouble. Yeah, a wheelchair, a bed, or something. You ain't with me in there? Give me a second. We're going to get something to roll you in. That way we don't have to carry you. How about that? She's been a little less than cooperative. I think she'll simmer down now. Okay. This fellas you're at the hospital not the jail. These people are here to help you. They don't need you yelling and fighting and screaming, okay? Yes, ma'am. So, if I take that hobble off your feet, can I let you sit up on your own? You able to do that? You going to be cool with us? I'm going to take it off her feet so she can calm down. This is going to be the runner for the mental health. You're not at the jail, okay? Just have them on the gear. Thank you. All right. Just give your feet a second, let them stretch. They're probably asleep or something. All right. We're going to set them right there. When you're ready to sit up, let us know and he's going to help you sit up, okay? We have a wheelchair right here for you, okay? We're just going to have you sit down in this wheelchair whenever you're ready. All right. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to swing your legs around and I'm going to put them kind of in the front of you, okay? He's going to help you sit up at the same time, all right? There you go. All right. Get your legs under you. There you go. All right. Let's scoot that side. She's coming outside. Where did that come from? From her pocket in her pocket. I got it. The 17-year-old student was charged in Santa Rosa County with possession of a THC vape battery and resisting arrest. Speaking of this teen took it too far when he his own teacher while being under the influence. Did you take anything, smoke anything? Drink anything? I took a cart. He said he took a hit or something. He was in the bathroom and took a cart is what he's saying, which made him freak out and then he ran over there and I'm assuming that's where he punched the teacher. On January the 4th, 2024, officers were called to a school in Ohio after a teacher was reportedly punched by a student after she walked in on them smoking something suspicious in the bathroom. After the student ran through the school repeatedly slamming his head against the walls and when the officers arrived, they were left stunned by the full severity of what had happened. >> Just stand in the office over here so we're not in the hallway. Come here, man. Come on. Go. All right. Now, You feeling a little dizzy? All right. Have a seat there. Where you going? Did you take anything, smoke anything? Drink anything? I took a cart. He said he took a hit or something in I took a cart. I didn't take I didn't I didn't take no Yeah, he did So, did somebody give you something in the bathroom? Uh-huh. Yeah. Okay. What was it? Is he hurt? Yeah, I think he might have hit his head. He was banging it He was banging his head I think against the glass. Feeling okay? Bonnie? You get on the phone and ask him to bring an ice pack. He's got to bring it in. Yeah. Mhm. Yeah. Something cold to put on his head. Anybody hear me? You can just take it out of the hot tub. I have my car keys in my pocket. Hey, Lake Kennedy. Hey, Lake Kennedy. I'm up at Corey High School needing a video one. If you can start a life squad our way for a female staff maybe in her mid-50s. Uh head injury at this moment. I got a life squad coming. Oh my god. Soon it was time for the 16-year-old to speak and when he did, he revealed information that would escalate the case from a simple something far more serious. He was after the teacher over there or student over here. After her teacher and anyone Huh? Yeah, we're in the area over here. All right. Well, I'll ask for another one to come to your area. All right. He said he just needs somebody to help him. He tried to punch. Spinning around a little bit, all right. I don't really know what happened. And I was startled. Okay. All right. You feeling a little bit You starting to freak out a little bit? I still I I still feel a little bit going away a little bit. >> A little bit? Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Calm it down. Calm down. Calm down. Are you going to throw up? >> No. Okay. John, can you go to the I just want to go away. Okay. Hey, Lake Kennedy 5927 and I'll be in the vocational building with that squad room on that side. Is this squad? They're both They're both getting one. Am I in a dream? No, you're not dreaming, bud. Was it Was it Was it in the back hallway right down the hall from Ms. Woolridge's room? No. The teen appeared visibly distressed over his on his teacher, but the officers had to wonder, was he genuinely upset and under the influence of something or was he putting on an act to try and receive a lighter charge? You have all in flat pool in front hallway cover and back hallway. Am I missing any spots? No. So, Bryce just said that Um Bryce just said that She what? She can't talk. Is there someone else I can call? She's calling me. Guard Bryce? You can call him okay, sure. Is that Is that another student that was involved in this? He was in the room at the time. He was upset. He's in the Okay, I see him over there. Pray for 11. Pray for 11 or 10 or 11. You can consider her Did you see anything? It was hit by a student. Uh in room Okay, and that's where the bathroom I'm sorry. Okay, was it just the three of you in that room? Okay. And then Okay. Okay. The entire incident had clearly left the teacher in shock, who was struggling to process what had just happened. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old sat only a few feet away, now attempting to cast himself as the victim. He is out. No. You're just Grab Grab that. Grab that. Grab that. Did that hurt a little bit? Did that hurt a little bit? Yeah, cuz I was running. That was I ran too. I was running fast and I was glitching. You were glitching? You got anything in your in your pockets? Any glitchies in your pockets? >> Nope. Nothing? Okay. So, what it had a 47 on it. Tell me more about it. You >> It had a 42. 42 on it, okay. So, you hit somebody's car that had a 42 on it. This is a law. Could you find out when she was >> was hit? He's not responding to any questions right now. I have his wallet and cell phone. Okay, we're trying to We're trying to figure out what he took over here, but it sounds like he was in the bathroom and and took a cart, is what he's saying, which made him freak out, and then he ran over there, and I'm assuming that's where he punched the teacher. fire >> What's his name? What's a cart? Is it a vape? pop Yeah, something like a vape. So, is it just like vape pen? It was a cart. I don't know if I think someone was in it or not. I'm just having trouble hearing you. >> We have to bring your partner. It said 42? He was in the bathroom. >> You were in the bathroom when you did it? Somebody give it to you? Yeah. Did they take it away from you after you did it? It seems unlikely that the teen would take substances from a random student without knowing what they were. The more probable scenario was that he was just trying to avoid taking responsibility for his actions. All right, so it it The way I got it from here was he was He got a psych emergency. Um he he was out here with Um a male white is a senior and a black and a male white. They're both They're both white. out in the bathroom. They came in. He got a cart from them or cart that said 42 on it, took a hit from that, and he freaked out from there. No, I didn't freak out right there. Didn't freak out? class You went back to class? I sit down. And I was talking to my He was telling me that And then that's when That's when it started all happening. That's where you started freaking out in the class? Yes. Okay. Did Did she say anything to you in the class? >> Uh no. Uh he told me He said, um Are you too good, bro? And I said, bro, no, I'm not, bro. Like I keep glitching. And then that's when she said, are you good? And that's I hurt I hurt I hurt I hurt. No, no, that's not This one? Yeah, he told And then after that I stopped running. Okay. Did Did Do you >> And I went outside and thought it was a dream. Okay. Did Did you And that's when I started banging my head on the window, but I I did on purpose. You hit your head on the wall? Yeah, I thought I was Yeah, I thought it was a dream. Did Wait, what were you trying to do by hitting your head? Were you trying to hurt yourself? Were you trying to wake up? >> trying to wake up, yeah. You were trying to wake up? What did the dream feel like? It's like Were people talking to you and telling you bad things to yourself? Or anything? No. I kept hearing echoes and echoes and echoes. Every time I talked, I couldn't understand you. Okay. And so, when I got over here, you were on the ground. >> It's like a delay. It's delayed, okay. In the classroom, can we go back to the classroom where you started freaking out? Do you remember having any conversation with the teacher? Oh, the teacher. She said She said she was calling the police, man. I just started punching on her. You started punching who? The the teacher The teacher. Do you remember where you hit her? I hit her in And with that confession, one thing became clear to the officers. This was not an isolated incident. Something far more complex was happening in the background, and the officers knew that they had to act quickly to prevent anyone else from becoming a victim. >> Hold on. Love you. Just hang in there. I'll be I'm right with you, okay? Okay? Okay. So, if there's no reason to come with us. No. Do you mind if you step back? We're going to take Yeah, we're getting him >> want to get him down there. We want to get him down to Children's. Okay. I'm right there with you, okay? >> Are you in the back? Are you okay to walk? >> bud? Hey, can you and me be back there? Is that okay? How you doing? They're transporting Oh, yeah. Yeah, they'll take you back to where you Yeah, yeah. Or just lock it and throw it in the uh in the in the um garage there. In the kitchen. Yeah, put it on the microwave in the kitchen. Officers suspected that the substance [clears throat] the boy had smoked may have triggered his violent behavior. Both the teacher and the student were later taken to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. The student was charged with possession or use of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct. Speaking of facing consequences, meet Makayla, a high school junkie who got feisty with the same cops who found substances on her. Off of me, copper. I don't give a You know that. All right. Okay. All right. What am I going to the office for? Why are you getting in his face? >> Because he He every day He did this to me. I'm not. This is Get the Off of me, bro. >> Okay. You pushing me with I'm not resisting. I'm sitting on the day. >> Make a seat and stop resisting. >> Ooh, bro. On November the 7th, 2024, police were called to a high school after receiving reports of an unruly student named Makayla, who was behaving erratically and yelling at staff. At first, it sounded like a routine school disturbance, but officers would soon realize that this incident was anything but ordinary. They would soon come to realize that Makayla's supposed confidence was from some substances that she had brought to and consumed on school grounds. >> Still, then you can come back and do whatever you have to do. >> So, what am I going down here for? We're going to tell you. Thank you. What am I going down here for? Let's go. Let's go. I'm not. You keep What am I going down here for? For what? For what? We will talk about it with you in a Okay, for what? Let's go. Let's go. Off of me, copper. I don't give a You know that. All right. Okay. All right. For what, copper? For what? Since you want to whisper, your headphones what? What am I going to the office for? Makayla, why are you getting in his face? Because he He every day He did this to me yesterday. Yes. He did Yes, he did. Yeah, yes, he is. You are too. You are too. Y'all are awesome. Yo, I'm going. Okay, Push your back in the car. I know you're mad. Okay. We appreciate you complying. Thank you. Okay. Man, that hurts me. That hurts so much. Oh, man. That hurts my feelings. He did this to me every day. That's not cool. That's not dropped out. Let's talk. You already told me these things. Stop whispering to my headphones. Okay. Okay. You're not mad. I am. So, you don't feel how I feel. For someone her age, Makayla carried herself with misplaced authority, refusing to give anyone even the most basic human courtesy or respect, [music] which only served to complicate things on her end. Hello. Okay, as soon as I get to school, the man Here you go. Going off the I'm like I'm going to take my picture. He like, no, you're not doing that. So, I get in the room to take my picture. He called the police Cuz I'm trying to going off the I'm like I'm like I'm going to go to the office. He like, for what? He like, I can't tell you. We don't have to give you a reason. I'm like, okay, well, I'm going to take my picture. He like, what? Then they mad. Like they got me in the office now for what? For what? I still don't have a reason. Why am I here? Why? Can I go take my picture? Y'all just stand in here. You're not taking your pictures. Who told you that? Why am I not taking my picture again? Do you want to search your bag? It smells like Yeah, can I go in the room and talk to one of y'all? Yeah, sure. Okay, let's do that. Hello. We can't hear her. What? >> She said she wanted to talk to one of y'all. Okay, we'll call her from the office, cuz I can't hear her at all. >> How can you not hear her? I can hear her. So, she wants to >> don't hear her saying, hi, sir, how are you? I hear her perfectly fine. >> Turn up the volume. Stop lying. Turn up the volume. >> Talk. You hear her. Hello, ma. You need to relax. She said, hello, how are you? You need to get out of my face. You need to back up. I'm going to give you one other option and then I'm going to have to be forced to do something because you want to get in my face. Do you know how my mom is talking to you or not? I will call her from an office phone. For what? She on the phone already. That's okay. I will call her from an office phone and I'll let her know what's going on. All right, what's going on? Let me know. We'll talk to her in there. Like Okay, tell me what's going on. Why am I here? Go in that office and we'll tell you what what's going on. No, y'all just want to mess with me every day. Y'all just hitting me. It was clear that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. She was convinced that if she messed up at the office as long as they would eventually just let her go. But she was about to learn the hard way that officers don't negotiate with tantrums. Don't touch him. Oh, she's not going to snap that, is he? Okay. No, you're not. Really? No, you're not. Listen. Bro, get off of me. Okay, help me. No. Okay, help me. Help me. Get off of me. Sit. This is get the off of me, bro. You touching me. I'm not resisting. I'm sitting on a desk. You're making it worse. Bro, if I was resisting, I would be beating your ass right now. Get the off of me. Get off the the table now. I'm done. You just put me on the table. I'm done with you. >> Bro, get off of me. Bro, I don't care. Bro, you got to call. Go to call my mama. We'll send her back if you resist and fight and don't calm down. Bro, do that. Stop fighting. You need to calm down. I am calm. For some reason she seemed to think that she knew the law better than the officers themselves. And even though they were clearly trying to stay patient, it wouldn't be long before that patience ran out. >> We done. I don't care. You put your hands on me. What's up? You want to put your hands on me? Now you want to press charges, bro. Get off of me. Okay, we done. I don't care. Move, Coco. I don't Get off of me. Bro, let it happen. Let me sit down, bro. Stop. Let me breathe. Okay, let me breathe real quick. Get the off of me. Listen, we're trying to help you, but you don't want to do it. You put your hands on an administrator, I'm done. And now you're going [clears throat] to be taken into custody. So I got to use relax. You got too much So you can either do something Get out of my face. I'm not moving. All right, well I'm calling my You're not going to call your mom. Why? Cuz you're done. Okay, I'm calling my mom over. Stop. Bro, Coco, you're not even stronger than me. Yes. Yes. Fine, not the face. Yes. Yes. Yes. You're not stronger than me, obviously. Yes. Keep this. Yep. You just destroyed all the stuff. Get the off of me. Okay. Wow. Wow. Come on. We have 15-2 have one in custody. Go take a seat. I'm straight. I'm sitting down. Take a seat now. I'm not asking you. What? I'm not. Take a seat and stop resisting. Oh, what? What? Hey, hold on. Take your seat now. Just sit. Relax. I can't. I just This attitude didn't seem like a one-time thing. With her attitude toward the officers, it was giving them more than enough reasons to believe that there was something off with her. I don't know. No, it's Lindsay. Excuse me? No, it's shaking here. Okay, let's go to my office, please. And you can either do Okay, I can walk. Well, let's go. Don't touch me. Well, two hands Coco. Move. I'm escorting. I'm escorting. Don't escort me. Yeah, he better move cuz he know how Yeah, all right. Hey, okay, let me go. I can walk. Ooh. Now? You need to relax. Stop resisting. I want her hand handcuffs behind her back. >> Earlier she was resisting and fighting. Okay. Get them behind her back, but I had to like get them on her front. You don't have to put them on me. I'm not going to resist. No, I don't care, but you're fighting. I'm not. Okay, you are. It's for her safety. And I can't charge her with resisting charges, okay? Okay, do that. I will. All right, do that. I'm putting my arms around my back. Bro, what You're going to charge her with resisting charges. You already have it. I already did. Obviously. You got to resist me. That's why you called a doctor. Relax. I am relaxed. Stop resisting. Relax. Get off my neck, bro. All right, she's double locked. All right, let's go and sit her down. Sit down. Well, you're about to get searched, so don't show me your ass. We're going to get another Put the I'll do Like Take her out of her You want to touch all of my neck and What's up? What are you touching? I have charges if I find one. It's on the side. Don't care. So, you're now in custody, obviously, for battery on a school board employee, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting with violence, and obviously the possession of everything else that you have. So Laquaya was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting with violence, disturbance, and possession of a nicotine device. Laquaya got what was coming to her, and so did this teen [music] when she refused to leave campus premises despite being suspended. Wrong way. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. You can't be on campus. Calm down. Stop. Relax. This is one of the ones from the um smoking incident. I want to talk to her. All right. Besides the fact that this Besides the fact that her actions led up to this. Let me go. Get her. On May the 22nd, 2023, officers were dispatched to a high school after staff reported that a suspended student had refused to leave campus. Expecting to deal with nothing more than just a disobedient and entitled student, the responding deputies were instead shocked to see just how far a stubborn teenager could push before consequences caught up with her. Let's go then. Thank you. If you go anywhere besides the front office, Well, I am. Well, let's go. Everything seemed to be according to plan until the teenager made a blunder that would only backfire on her. Wrong way. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. Go this way. What he's asking you, don't make it worse than what it needs to be. You got to You can't leave campus. You can't be on campus. Calm down. Stop. Here. Relax. Relax. Relax. We just need you to exit campus. That's it. So we can walk with you to campus, like off campus. Come on. You're making it worse than what it needs to be. Stop. Stop. Relax. Stop. Okay. Leave me alone. You're making it worse. You're doing what we're asking you to do. We're asking you to Leave [clears throat] me alone. Back up. No, leave me alone. Now you can be You can be charged with assault. Leave me alone. This >> [laughter] >> Hey. Stop. >> [laughter] >> Calm down. Don't touch me. Stop. Sit down. Stop. [clears throat and laughter] Hey, no. I'll go. No. No, cuz we asked you to go. I'll come to the office. No, you can't. I didn't want to hit you. Who just hit me? Go for two. No one hit me. Who just hit me? No one hit you. Who just hit me? I didn't hit anyone. Right here. Something about the teen's defiance didn't sit right with the officer. And once the girl was taken to the school security office, the officer would discover that his gut feeling was right. Let's go then. Calm down, girl. Bro, let me go. Calm down. Make it worse than what it needs So just to give you a rundown. This is for I will get the one from them. This is one of the ones from the um smoking incident. I wanted to talk to her. All right, the next day when she showed up here. Mhm. So we gave her She got campus to finish her stuff. Miss Miss Owens said that there was nothing to get completed. So we gave her the opportunity once more to leave campus. Did not want to leave campus. Finally got her out of Miss Owens' room. Started walking towards the front door. Decided to take a detour. Grabbed her by her arm. She's like I was like, "No, you're going the wrong way." "Let me go." And started pulling away from me. And now we're here. This is really not about us. Mhm. This is about graduation and not not me. Mhm. So it's projected at wrong place. >> Exactly. Besides the fact that this Besides the fact that her actions led up to this. Let me go. The teen's defiant behavior landed her with a set of charges including trespassing and resisting with violence. The last case ended with an unforgettable lesson similar to the moment deputies humbled an [music] aggressive teen who had substances on her. She said it, I don't know, but it's not mine. On May the 5th, 2022, officers were called in by a school authority reporting a student who had been acting out of control. This wasn't just any student. She was supposed to be off campus having already been suspended. But when the officers arrived, they could tell right away that handling her wasn't going to be as simple as escorting her out. Trespassing now. Trespassing. Trespassing. Trespassing. You better stay where you at. You better stay where you at now. Stop. Stop. Stop, miss. Stop. Give me your arm. Give me your Give me your arm. Let's take that book bag off. Give me your arm. Got it. Yep. Give me your arm. 51 Central. I'm 1095. Bro, you won't get off me, bro. Stay down. We gave you so many chances. So many chances. Go ahead. Trespass. All right, go ahead and stand up. 1 2 3 No, they can stay back. Let's go ahead and double lock. Double lock? Double lock her. Hey. Get her out now. Hold on. Hey, y'all Hey, hey, stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. You're going to hurt yourself. Stop, you're going to hurt yourself. Stop. Stop. Stop resisting. All right, keep on moving. Double lock. They're going to tighten up. That one's locked. Let me get this one. She's on the hall on the hallway. I put her on the hallway. Nope. Probably going to tighten up. 51 Central, can I get a transport, please? Despite being detained, she tried to [music] intimidate the officers, a typical bully behavior, but they sure knew how to handle her. Have a seat, please. Look, can you Can you go to the office and bring my um laptop, please? Yeah. Bro, it's too hot for this [ __ ] bro. Hey, take a seat. Take a seat, miss. Take a seat. Hey, stop. Take a seat. Take a seat. Take a seat. Take a seat. Take a seat. We're We're beyond that. Take a seat. Take a seat. Take a seat. Take a seat. I'm getting your authority to sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Go ahead. I can't. They're already fine. I already checked them twice. Off the hook. Can you put it in the book bag? Go ahead. Dopemager. >> [laughter] >> Hey, stop. You're not going to get out of this. You're not going to get out of this. Take a seat. Or you're going to catch more charges. All right, take Take a seat. Let me check Let me check Let me check Let me check then. Let me check again. Let me check for the third time then. Let me check again for the third time. We'll get to that when the time comes, okay? In the meantime, you're acting disorderly. Until we get everything figured out and stuff like that and I get all my work done. I'll take the jacket off, okay? I'll take a seat right now and I'll take your jacket off after I get my work done. No, can't let you go. The moment she was escorted to the police van, the officers decided to give her a quick check. But what they discovered in her possession was definitely not something you would expect from a student. I should be fine though, but I do have to check. There we go. Whisper. So, almost likely yeah. So, we're kind of wrapped up here. Yes, she did. Check. So, we're kind of Anything in here that we need to know? Anything in here? Thank you for answering. Locked here. I can't have a seat. Got to be something in here. I said any of her candy. Cuz you know they have the candy and the candy. Yeah, she said it, I don't know, but it's not mine. Yeah, she said her book bag is not hers. She made a statement anything y'all find in there isn't mine. She made that statement. Do you need to take a picture of stuff and take Put this in her bowels too? Yeah. Yeah. Well, I wouldn't open it without gloves on. Cuz I don't know if it's If there's anything else in It's been in just about everything recently, so we'll we'll let Yeah, we'll let her do it with the gloves on. >> take the pictures. Yeah. Hopefully, it's just weed, but I know she had some kind of jelly candy, so I didn't read the top of the the bag to see if that was cannabis. And if it's been opened and re-wrapped, it could still be it. Yeah. I got to read the bottom of the package now to find out if this is what Yeah, it looks like it's going to be just which is good. You let her sit it down here so I can take a picture of it. Got it. I got it. Yeah. Put on your gloves. You can just Yeah, flip it in there just just store it in the glove. And the candy the jelly candy was just jelly candy? Yeah. Okay. All right, cool. Yep. Thank you. Appreciate you. The suspect was later charged with criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement, and possession of less than 1 oz. Speaking of high school druggies being caught, this brat thought she'd get away with sneaking alcohol inside her school. I wasn't. Who cares? I don't Okay, well On the 7th of March 2023, the police were called to a school because of a drunk minor. When police arrived, they didn't expect to meet the most entitled kid ever. It's just right there, ma'am. Ma'am, give it It's not in here. No, it's right there. It's not right here. Unless you guys want to see my [ __ ] underwear. Can you hand it to him? It's right there. It's in there. It's right there. I can see the bulge in your pocket. It's right there. [music] Where? I can see the bulge. What bulge? It's right there. No, I do not, ma'am. I bet you guys do because you guys keep assuming. Not assuming. It's right there. I see the lips. See? No, you don't. Yeah, pull it out. Whatever it is, pull it out. No, there's nothing in there. Yeah. It's right there. The entitled kid, still being hostile, called her mother to pick her up, but this wasn't going to do her any good. You can't have your mom tell you. Put your phone down. Who are you calling? You're calling your mom? Okay. Okay, cuz you're a mess. Yeah, you can't hold my phone. I mean, you're going to get charged. I'm going to get charged? Yes. Mom, um the they have me in the office or something. They're trying to say that I blame the principal or something. Yeah. I don't know if you just pulled it out. Come put me in the office or something, Mom. Yeah, Mom. Pull it out. Yeah, they really have something to say. Why you keep staring at me? It's the principal who did what I tried to put in my phone to let him know. Who wants to sit in the wrong Shut up. I didn't. No. Okay. Nothing. They're knocking it off with the language, ma'am. I'd be like, "If somebody hits me, I don't know. It's assault because they threw me on the ground." I don't know. She's only 13. The officer threw me on the ground. >> [laughter] >> I charge on that officer for battering my daughter.
