What makes someone gamble with their freedom by turning a simple traffic stop into a dangerous chase? >> Guns out. >> Body cam leak is the channel we found this one on today. We've used them before. They've been good. So, we went back to them today for Body Cam Bingo. So, we switched this card up a little bit. We got rid of name and badge number. It's I like it. It's a personal favorite square of mine, but we uh we moved some things around. So, obviously, we kept race card. That's a mainstay. Uh, I know the law. I know my rights. Some sort of variation of that. Uh, don't touch me. I always like that one. Uh, somehow mentions phone in whatever way they mention a phone. Uh, mentions lawyer or court or like lawsuit. Something that goes through the courts. Something like that. Uh, we have for what, them saying for what? Like, hey, you're under arrest for a DUI. For what? When they do that. Um, I'm not resisting. Typically stated while they're resisting. And then call your supervisor. Obviously, that's a corner pick. We love that one. So, that's today's card. And uh we're going to see how it goes. >> Pull over the car. Pull the car over now. >> Why are we yelling a lot? >> I have a Hispanic driver wearing a black hat, white brown hair, colorful bracelets. Pull the car over. Can you give me a driver's license photo on the registered owner? Put the vehicle in park. >> Oh, he's just yelling out through his window. >> 57 mph approaching 120. Light traffic. I'm in the secondary. >> I like that. I like the confirming the driver and registered owner of the same person. That's pretty cool. It's a good idea. >> 8192. Do you guys have anything precise speed at this point? >> 41 miles an hour passing Volo. Still northbound on 12. She just almost ran into me. >> All right. If we're looking at DUI, go ahead. If you haven't done it all, >> she's pulling in the fish line. We're trying to 8113 countywide. >> That's a pretty narrow road. >> Vehicle we are attempting to stop speeding and potentially DUI. >> It is a red >> if this was in like Arkansas, they just would have pitted him off the road. Mary 42513. We are currently in Lake. >> Look at all those trees. >> I'm trying to find a tree. She is We are currently doing 10 mph. >> Did this vehicle have any addresses in Fish Lake Beach? >> Yeah, we were northbound on 12. Please don't come out of college. >> Close the gate. >> All right. >> Stop theing car. >> Stop theing car. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> That didn't work. >> DJ Palin just for further information. Still Fish Lake Beach. >> Open the door. >> There we go. >> Open the door. I will break this window and drag you out. >> Break the window. Drag it out. >> If you want to go to the rear, >> I will break it. I have a window breaker. It will break. >> Open the window or open the door or I will break it. Drag you out. >> Open the window. [laughter] >> All the way. >> All the way. >> I'm not really caring what you want to or not. Open the window. >> This is Mark's house. >> I don't care. >> This is my uncle's house. >> Okay. Open the window. >> This is my uncle's house. >> It's like home base. >> I need you to take a step out of the car now. >> We don't want to break the window. >> Back away then. I don't have anything in the car. >> You don't want to break the window. >> Step out of the vehicle now or you'll be tased. >> You do not taste the vehicle. >> Step out of the car. Turn around. Turn around. Oh. Drunk. Sure looks strong. >> We're going to have one in custody. We'll be switching back to our zone. Did >> you put on this one? >> Nice bracelet. >> Straighten your hand up for me. >> Just one car just in [laughter] case. >> Out of the way. >> Just just out for a drive. >> Can you please shut my door and get out of my car? Don't touch it. [clears throat and laughter] I'm >> glad you think that you are running the show here. Yeah, >> it was real fun, right? >> That was the funniest thing I've done. >> Yeah, it's great. >> Actually, every day I do something funnier. >> Good. Let's uh see what felonies we get you with today. >> I had a class one when I was 17. >> Hey, and let's continue living this life, right? >> Yeah. No, you guys have already taken my life. What are you going to do with me? >> And we're having a car. >> Yes, sir. Yeah. >> Uh, >> first class is towing me. First class is towing. You better make sure that first class. >> Oh, ma'am. See, this is >> 819. >> You can't even wear your hat straight. >> I don't think you can run the show here. >> Why didn't you stop? >> Because isn't a good answer. It be a reasonable answer. It makes sense. >> I was going to my dad's house. >> Okay. Where's your dad live? vacation village. >> Okay. >> So, you just didn't want to stop for >> light sirens, two squad cars. >> No, like I just drive to my dad's house and do what I want. >> I've never been out of the country. >> Have you been out of the country? >> But have you ever traveled outside of the country? >> Well, I haven't. So, um, can you please uncuff me? >> That's not how that works. You didn't stop. We've been He's been following you since 176. >> I don't care. What is your name? >> Officer Pat. >> Officer Pat. >> I know a lot of Pats. >> Okay. So, what have you been doing today? >> I um What did I do today? >> Just so you know, real quick, cuz you are going to be charged. You are in handcuffs. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used. >> So, not this guy's first day on the job. I really like that he starts questioning her and then stops and goes, "Hey, you know what? You're in handcuffs, which means you're in custody and I'm asking you questions, which means we have interrogation now. I should probably read your rights." Reads her rights. Um, checks that box. Anything she says subsequent to that can be used in the court of law. I love it. Definitely a a senior guy move. >> In the court of law, you have the right to attorney. If you can't afford one, what can be appointed to you? one and question you for saying what you are saying. >> Got it. Suing you. >> That's fine. So you have you understand those rights. >> Can you please take one step back? >> Do you understand those rights? >> Can you please take one step? >> Do you understand those rights? >> Can you please take one step back? I just asked you three times. >> Don't care. >> I don't know where you think this is going. Okay. You do not dictate the situation. Okay. You do not walk away from me. You are under arrest >> for what? >> Come on. You think this is aing game? >> I want my shoe. >> I don't Hey, I'm going to secure you as a prisoner that you are. Okay. >> Yes. >> Thank you. Unlock my truck, please. >> Like, seriously, >> once you start being respectful and you want to pay attention and realize the situation, I'll start listening to you. >> There we go. >> Have a seat. >> No. Nice little half cage. >> Ah, >> I like it. >> Think this is aing game. You're taking off my Don't steal my [ __ ] [laughter] >> That's a That's a tight fit in there. That's a >> So, she's already trespassed from this property. >> No, I'm just saying she will not be able to come back on this property. >> Okay. >> All right. Before I search your vehicle, okay, do you have anything in there that's going to stink me, harm me, poke me, or any of my partners in any way? >> No. >> Excuse me. >> No. Grimace. >> Oh, boy. Lunch. You should have somebody watch her because there's Narcan all over the car. >> I also carry Narcan in my car. I have it in my car right now. But I'm a little different. I don't think normal citizens just drive around with Narcan in their car. Some do. And maybe they're just maybe she's just a super responsible citizen. Or maybe she's overdosed before and knows that the way to bring her back to life after an opioid overdose is Narcan. So, I don't know which one of those it is, but I don't think the normal everyday John and Jane Q citizen driving around have quote a lot of Narcan in their car, so it's kind of fishy. >> Oh, thank you. >> We have uh Coler on the way. >> You probably could hit her with DUI unless that's how she talks normally. >> I didn't see her eyes though. >> I saw her eyes. They were dilated and red. But I'll talk to her a little more in the station. >> No, no, no. Don't get out. >> I'm not going to get out of the vehicle. I'm just sitting. I'm thirsty. >> H I >> mean, she was literally laughing. >> Thirsty goes long. >> Did she flick you off at the one point? Why was her hand out the window? >> I think she was just waving. >> Oh, that's when I caught up to you guys. >> I think she was just waving, >> but I pulled up next to her and started recording with my body cam. more like this cannabis. >> Little marijuana pipe. >> Oh, different pills, too. Some of this might just be Tylenol, too. >> Mary, do you have active insurance on the vehicle? >> Yes, USAA. >> Where is it through? >> USAA. Is there at some a card in the uh >> Yes, sir. It's in my car. >> It's in your phone. All right. I'll give you the opportunity at the station to present that. Okay. >> I don't want to go to the station. We're trying to go to my dad. >> Okay. Well, we got this to figure out. >> She's DUI. On the side of um this officer's truck, it says truck enforcement. So, truck enforcement is typically um our term for commercial vehicle enforcement. Um, so these are guys that are primarily on the highways stopping commercial vehicles, making sure that they're compliant with all of the the DOT regulations and all of the equipment violations uh that can occur there and and all that stuff. This guy is not looking for this stop. He is not looking for a DUI. Um, this is definitely not probably in his everyday. Um, but for it not being something he does every day, he does it great. I mean, he obviously recognizes that her, you know, that just getting in that pursuit was with the ra with the reason of, hey, I'm just going to see my dad. Um, that that's weird, that she's acting weird. Narcan in the car. Um, all of these things are adding up to someone who's possibly impaired. So, I like that it's not probably in his everyday wheelhouse, but he's like, "Hey, I'm a cop and I'm going to do it." >> Yeah. She said it was USAA. You could keep it. She said she has an active copy on her phone, so I'll give her the opportunity. >> Truck enforcement. I like it. So, I'm just going to ask you, okay, uh before I'm not going to search you right now. >> There's Narcan all over your vehicle. >> I carry Narcan. It's part of my business. >> Okay. You don't You didn't swallow anything? What? >> You didn't swallow anything? >> What's your >> I just want to make sure for your safety. Make sure I don't need to get you an ambulance or something. If a baggie broke or something, I don't want you overdosing on me. >> I do not overdose. >> All right. Well, you swallow anything? >> No. I've been drugged before, but I do not take pills or anything from people that I do not know. >> She looks inevitated, but >> yeah. >> Yeah, >> we kind of cuffed her before we did anything. Just based on what we had >> probably do her for DUI >> driving and everything else you saw. She was all over the road. She was like that for a while. >> Yeah. Well, I didn't see all the way up until I caught up to you right before Bonner. >> So, that's why I saw the >> going into your lane. >> You stand up for me. All right. Turn around when I face the wall. >> I like the editing. >> 5 foot four and a half. >> Can you face the wall? >> Yeah. Here we go. >> I'm going to take these off of you. Okay. Please keep in mind everything is audio and usually recorded in here. Okay. So, let's not make this any worse than we already have today. Okay. All right. So, have you been drinking today? >> No. >> No. No. >> You can turn around and face me. You haven't had anything to drink? >> No. >> How about pills or anything? Are you >> I take prescription medication? Um I've taken my medication as prescribed. >> Okay. All right. What I'm going to ask you to do is I'm going ask you to take a step off the wall for me. >> Keep my feet together. >> I'm going just ask you to do a couple things to see where things are at here cuz I'm I'm just kind of concerned about you after everything we just went through. Okay. >> Okay. >> And I'm going to have you follow my finger. >> Yeah. I do have corrective eye surgery on this eye. >> Okay. On that eye. >> Yes. >> All right. Have you had any head injuries or >> uh I have beaten but I was vice script out of my mother when I was born. >> Okay. All right. Um so what I'm going to have you do is just keep your head still. You're not going to >> never heard that before. >> It's a new one. >> My finger right here with your eyes. Okay. >> Okay. >> Keep watching. Good. [laughter] All right. Um, what I have to do is All right. >> Little walk and turn. >> Legs. >> All right. >> I have a bum knee. >> A bum knee, >> but it's not metal yet. >> No. Any issues with standing on one leg or the other? >> No. >> No. >> It's like a >> two. >> Okay. Please get back in the starting position. Definitely DUI. >> Yep. Which would be the left foot in front of your right foot. >> Starting position. >> No, your left foot in front of your right foot. >> She's a center. >> She's shaped like a center. >> That's probably the best you've done here. >> Those are some pretty entertaining field sobriety tests. Like between the, you know, when he's doing HGN and she's trying to touch his finger. Um, and then he says get in the starting positions. So she gets down like she plays for the Vikings. um that that those are pretty they were pretty entertaining. At the same time, absolutely not normal. That is not a normal performance on the standardized field sobriety test battery. So, if you had any questions if she was DUI up until that point, that should have quelled all of your concerns if she was DUI and solidified that DUI is absolutely the charge that she needed to be charged with along with the litany of other charges reference all of the pursuit stuff. All right. Now, let me ask you this. All right. You said you didn't take any pills today. >> I took my medication. >> You took your medic as prescribed. Would you give a blood sample? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> All right. Um, with that, I'm going to come back and read you the documentation. >> All right. I don't believe >> Can I refuse to take the blood because I am not drinking anything? >> Yes, you can refuse. >> Like, I could take a breath away. I honestly do not want to give you my >> And here's the thing. So, I'll I'll give you the opportunity to take a breath, right? But I'm going to call for blood as well. >> All right. Call my doctor >> and that's something that I need consent from you for or I can get a warrant. All right. Um >> but if you're telling me that you took everything as prescribed, >> I did. >> Then there's nothing to worry about cuz you'll have a prescription to match the levels of what's in your system. >> Right. >> So I'm you know where I'm going. >> You could do a breathalyzer first and then mention >> that doesn't show up for drugs. >> I appreciate your cooperation. That will go a long way with me. Okay. Um, >> still trying to do the walk and turn >> some water. >> Yeah. I'm hungry. >> All right. Go ahead. Turn it around for me cuz I got to put this back on your wrist. Okay. >> You give me your wrist, please. >> You want it like this? Is that okay? >> All right. I'll be right back. If I can get out of here. The woman was arrested and charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, aggravated battery of a peace officer. >> Nice. >> Resisting arrest and DUI. >> Yes. >> Don't forget, point your camera at the QR code or click the link below to get a special discount Cyber GhostVPN is giving my audience.
