Why do people act so tough then cry the moment they're booked in jail? >> Yeah. Hey guys, I'm Frank Slope. I am right now 24 years on the job. Today we're reviewing body cams. We're doing body cam bingo today. So, we're going to see how we do on this one and we're going to check out a video from Body Cam Leak. We've used them before. They put out good stuff. So, we wanted to come back check them out again. >> Hi. >> What's going on? >> Sorry, I had to call the cops on my daughter. Mhm. >> She's She flipped the out. She hit her. She's got to go. >> She hit who? >> She hit her her sister. >> I was pink. >> This one's 18. >> So, we're waiting out here. I I She just She She flipped the out >> about what? >> Well, we're having it rough. I was like, "Life is lifing." >> Yeah. >> But, you know, she her >> life >> is just It's bad. I told you to clean the up. Like, you didn't. So I told her I'm like, "You didn't go off on your friend when I had your friend here who wasn't doing nothing. You gonna hit your sister. You got to go." Bottom line, I'm I'm not doing this. >> What she hit at? >> Olivia, show I I She was attacking her. I had to get on top. >> Where she going to >> Olivia, he's What do you want to do? You just You need He needs to see. Look, I need you to come out so he can see. >> Okay. She doesn't want to get out, but you're more than welcome to look at her. >> Hello. But she can't stay here. She's got to go. I paid all the bills here. She's on the lease only because she uh is my child and she had nowhere else to go. We've been here 5 years. She's got to go. >> So, what's this over again? >> She just flipped. >> I don't care if she told her to pick up the house or whatever. Like, you're not in charge. You didn't give her birth. >> I'm the mother. >> And so, she she went the off. >> She cannot be here. >> She's a good kid, man. She don't she here the story. >> See, I You're going to have to get her cuz she's going to swing. >> I pissed the off went off started arguing her. I'm sorry. I'm talking right now. >> Oh well. Don't care. You put your hands on me first. Don't give a >> What a gem. >> Wow. >> You got anything on you? >> No. >> You understand when somebody tells you to stop? I ain't got time for this kind of foolishness. I'm trying to make solve problems here. Go. Get put your feet in. You >> got time for this, man. >> I like that, dude. Straight to business. >> Yeah, this police officer doesn't cuff this the the suspect. Just secures her in the back of a car. I'm great with that. Uh sometimes you just need to detain someone. You can't have she's obviously she comes up yelling and screaming. She's just going to incite more anger here. It's going to it just things are going to deteriorate further. So, she's obviously a primary aggressor. Even just in this, you know, the the microcasm of just this scenario, she's already the primary aggressor. So, fact that she's causing a disturbance, he takes her, puts her in the car, lets her settle down a little bit, he can continue his investigation. I'm good with it. I love it. I love that he didn't let a back and forth go. He just snatched her up, put her in the back of the car. Boom. It's over. I love it. Now, this is not something that I want. >> How do you spell your last name? >> P I >> You need paramedics. >> No, >> I can't allow this. I'm sorry. I mean, you know, we're all lifing. We're family. We shouldn't be beefing like this. And And she went off. It ain't right. >> Is it just a scratch? >> Pink-haired mom. >> Anything else? >> Can't be beefing. >> It's always red like this. Just >> I see a scratch on her face. >> Yeah, that's where she scratched her. Michaela Harris. >> What's going on today? >> I was arguing. >> Why? >> I believe that. >> Long story short, I worked all day, came home, wasn't clean. She was supposed to clean up. That's my little sister. >> I'm standing in front of my mom. She's standing behind my mom. She swung on me. I swung back. That's exactly what happened. So, she put her hands on me. I put my hands back on her. Do what you want with that information. I don't care. >> You heard it all. >> Just right back to texting. Cop walks up. The victim who sounds like she's 18 years old. So, an adult is sitting in the car on the phone. She's on her phone. Suspect walks up. Suspect's on her phone. Police officer puts his hands on the suspect and she never stops messing around with her phone. Gets put in the back of the car. still on her phone. Like at some point you need to put down your electronic device and look around at what's happening in the world around you. And obviously that concept is absolutely foreign to everyone in this video. >> You have any injury at all? >> No. >> You can help me. >> She's 18 years old. So if if she wants to press charges, I'm going to press charges right back. >> Yeah. >> No, >> your mom. >> I am mother. Yes. >> What uh what happened? >> Okay. So, we got home from work. We both at the same place. She's 18. >> She's at home. >> I wonder what that is. >> Rough you know, just life thing. She's texting her telling her, you know, clean the house, which she did clean. I'm the mother. She went the off. >> Oh, this ain't done. Told her to do this and this. Got into hering face. I had to get between them two. >> Like, she went the off. Like, I'm not dealing with this. This kills me just to see. But she's not going to put hands on her either. Right. >> And you're going to fight her like that's your sister. You're pushing 30 years old. >> Get your together. >> Primary aggressor suspect is 30. The victim is 18. So they're both adults. But you would think that a 30-year-old would have a little bit more of a emotional IQ to be like, well, you know, I am 12 years older than you. Obvious should be more mature at that point. should be able to to calm things down and handle things without yelling and screaming and getting in people's faces and throwing punches and everything else. So, she created her own jeopardy here. She says she got swung on, but everyone seems to be in agreeance that she closed the distance between the two, losing her temper, being angry. Um, what she needs to do is read a book on stoicism and realize that there are things that you can change and things that you can't and understand that she has no ability to do that. She needs to read a book. >> She doesn't live here with you, right? >> She does. All my Yes, they're all on the on the lease. >> Well, she does live here. >> Yes, I pay the bills here. >> I didn't I met her. I didn't know she was living here. >> Yes, she is my oldest daughter. I have three children, but I I I don't I hate I I didn't want to call the cops cuz that's not what I do. She >> Why don't you just let dad take care of it? >> That's not cool. She should have never struck her sister. I don't give I don't give a You know, talk to her that way. I I'm done. I'm done. >> The county that I work in right now, pretty rural county. Uh when we go to a domestic violence call, typically it's been brewing. it's been the pressure's been building and things are compounding and then it finally gets to a breaking point and someone calls. Uh, and that's kind of what it seems like going on here. It's it's, you know, sister versus sister, but mom's there and um, you know, it it seems like it's something that's that's happened before, but it finally came to a point now where now the cops are involved and Acropi is rolling up. >> She cannot she cannot No. Sorry. He's going to have a a form for you to fill out and then we'll have assistance, all that information for you. >> Okay. And with her cuz she can't stay here. >> She's going to jail. >> Okay. >> For the night. >> Okay. Fine. >> They're not going to keep her for >> Oh, that's fine by me. >> Not my problem. >> She'll go to jail. You said she is on the lease. >> She is. She will be off tomorrow morning when I go down to the office. >> I was going to say following up. >> Oh, trust me, she will be off the lease tomorrow. >> Um, she'll probably see a judge in the morning. >> I don't care. for whatever. When she does, they'll issue a protection order, so she won't be allowed around here. >> That's interesting. I like that. >> That's fine by me. I mean, I've stomach this. >> This is This is not right. This is We're We're family. We're supposed to stick together. I don't care if she didn't dust right. You were not the one to to jump up and act like >> your dick's sweeping the floor cuz it's not. >> Sorry. I love her to death. I love her to death, but what she did to her, that ain't right. >> It's not right. Don't put your hands on on on your on your blood. >> I agree. There should be consequences. So, she'll have to face >> and and I feel bad because she I love her. >> My kid, >> you know, this is up, but I can't have her in the house being terrorized and us walking on eggshells because she decided to flip out because she didn't clean good enough. It ain't happening. >> Does she want to fill out a victim statement? >> Do you want to fill out a victim statement? It's your choice. You want to explain that to her? She doesn't know >> what. I don't know. It's just a statement of what happened today. >> You do? >> She said yes. >> I have a skincare routine, and I'm not even [clears throat] joking. This is not right. >> This is not right. >> Raised her. >> You're not the only one it happens to. Why? We have a job. Lots of job security >> like this. I've just refrained because it's my child. What do I look like calling the police in my own type, you know? >> Looks like somebody that doesn't have any obstacles. >> This isn't right. >> What' you see, Mom? >> Sorry. >> What' you see? >> What did I see? I got in the middle of them. >> What' you see? >> Um, she was popped off. There was I mean I that the stuff wasn't cleaned enough, the stuff by the TV, but I mean it's just normal living stuff. This I mean she it's not a valid argument for her to put her hands on her at the end of the day. Wasn't a valid argument for her to pop off like that. >> Popping off? >> Okay. What did you see happening besides her popping off like physically? What' you What did you see? >> She started swinging. >> Okay. >> Huh? She got upset. Are you willing to go down? Are you willing to go downtown to sign charges? >> Uh, sign charges. >> I really don't want to do that. >> What do you want done today? >> I'm sorry. >> What do you want done today? >> She can't be here. >> Okay. Uh, give us You can hop back in if you need to hop back in. >> What do you think could have been done better today? >> Um, her not putting her hands on me >> and that's that. >> You think maybe your aggressive way of talking? No, because we argued 24/7. >> Definitely no fault of hers. The suspect may not have thrown the first punch. And that's absolutely fine because also through the investigation, she sounds like she is the most angry, the loudest. Um that she she closed the distance. So, she created her own jeopardy by closing that distance in in that aggressive manner that would that a normal person would interpret as a as a a pre-fight indicator. Okay, this person's coming at me to hurt me and then they use physical retaliation to create distance, but if the primary aggressor hadn't closed that distance angrily, if they just would have stayed on opposite sides of the room, none of this would have happened. So although she may not have thrown the the first punch, it doesn't mean that she's not guilty still as as the primary aggressor in causing the majority of the the disturbance that was there. >> I've talked nicely and it gets to the point where I have to talk like this or else or else the message doesn't get through. It doesn't get done. >> This is the thing that this is the thing that mom says is that you don't control her. You're not her parent so you shouldn't be talking to her like that anyway. >> It don't it doesn't matter where I look. Yeah, it does matter. It does. >> I can talk however I want in my house. >> Okay. But you got to also understand that your way of talking might provoke somebody to do something. >> Well, this is what today. So, this is not nothing new. This is absolutely not nothing new. Absolutely not. >> Probably not anything new. But >> no, I don't actually. >> Of course not. She she just completely spun the story to make it look like I'm some crazy ass which just works. >> I'm literally stressing you can't tell you >> you don't have electric. It's hard enough. >> So it's hard on So what you saying >> enough? >> It's hard on everybody, right? >> To be there all day and not do and then you want to put your hand on me. She's lucky. That's all she got was a little tap. She's lucky. But you got to it's hard on it's not just hard on you, right? It's it's hard on everybody, right? Everybody in that house is going through the same thing pretty much. >> Yep. >> So to speak, right? >> Am I right or am I not >> Am I not right? >> I hear what you're saying, but >> m you are >> truth. I mean, you all live in the same residence. So if nobody has if one person doesn't have electricity, that means all of you don't have it, right? So, what was going on before you hit her? >> She was in my face. >> Yes. She got in my face and >> How did that make you feel? >> I'm sorry. Go ahead. >> Huh? >> I was mad. >> You were mad. >> I mean, what were you thinking when she was doing it? >> I was. >> But she's talk. She always talks to her. She's nasty. She's mean. She will just holes in my >> not stop talking. >> I cannot deal with this. She put hands on her sister. This is wrong. >> She got in my face, pushed me. >> Sister's 18. Sister's an adult. You could probably stop talking. >> Where'd you hit her at? >> But she only And I'm not saying that that's it because it's not right. But she only did that because Michaela was getting in our face. She was like like a pit bull. I'm telling you. >> I love pitbulls. >> Mom, she says she was snatching stuff out of her hand. >> Yes. She tried to throw away all the computer cords, all this stuff that I bought. I said, "What are you doing?" I said, "I bought that. It's all going in the trash." I'm like, "What are you talking about?" >> That guy looks absolutely unimpressed with having to deal with this. This video is recorded in Ohio. They're way more used to rain and inclement weather than we are here in Arizona. There isn't a chance that I'm going to stand there as a storm blows in here in Arizona and just stand there and have a cordial conversation and get rained on. That doesn't happen here. We would have been inside. We would have somewhere an overhang parking structure out cove of a building somewhere. But I'm sure not just going to stand there and get rained on. Like these guys are cool. and uh maybe tougher than me because that's like I I don't want to get I don't want to get wet. I don't want to do I will if I have to, but if I have a choice, I'm going to find somewhere dry >> because she's feeling some type of way. That's that's wrong. And it's it's wrong and it's not right. >> I I I pay for everything. Everything. >> She goes to school. She goes to work. She don't complain. >> Unlike you. So, what are we doing? >> So, right now, we're just trying to get the whole picture of it. >> Yeah, >> cuz domestic violence is it's complicated. I >> I understand that. >> Um, we got the whole We got the story from you. We got the story from her. >> Um, and it did seem like she was like the more aggressive one, and that's why she's in the back of her car right now. Mhm. >> However, when you fill out a statement and says, "I swung at her first," >> then you become the primary arrest. We're trying to figure out what >> So, let me ask you something. So, when somebody's in your face, >> she was in my She pushed me, got in my face, >> then was getting into her face, so I step in between both of them. >> She's She She's nasty. >> That That's why we're asking. >> And you never stopped talking. >> I understand. Yeah. I I get it. We we have to figure out, you know, all the little details that led up to >> I love her. I'll do anything for her. But I can't I This cannot happen. This is not the first time that that she has gone. This is not the first time. This is just the first time that I called the police. >> Police. >> It's like a hyphen in there. >> This cuz I just want to get this over with. I'll go get her shoes. >> Okay. She'll go to jail tonight. Uh she'll see a judge in the morning. It'll be they'll ask her guilty or not guilty for an arraignment. Um then she'll answer however she answers. She'll be issued a protection order saying you're not allowed to come back to this house or be within 500 ft or whatever it is with uh >> and then what about her belongings that are here? >> Civil standby. >> One time to be escorted by a deputy to come out, grab personal items, whatever she's going to need to get her through. >> Um >> but deputy will be here for that. Okay. >> And then after that, she won't be allowed to return. If she does, she'll get arrested again. >> Okay. >> In domestic violence situations, uh when we place someone under arrest, what we're doing is we're creating that that division between two people um that obviously can't get along like here. Now, the judge is going to go on and continue that by saying there's going to be what's called release conditions. So, the judge is going to say, "Hey, I'll release you back into the wild, but you can't go back to that address. You can't have any contact with the victim." Uh sometimes if alcohol is involved, they say that you can't consume alcohol till your next court date and then you know things can go with plea agreements and stuff like that. Um but as of right now along with the police officer saying hey don't go back here the judge is also going to help uh make sure that these parties are separated at least for the time being for the foreseeable future um while they work out their differences. >> Sorry. Come on out. What you doing? >> You know, you might as well go ahead and turn that phone off. >> Wait, are you on the right numbers now or? >> Yeah. >> Wonder if she's been there before. >> I believe so. You'll be fine. >> What they bring you on? [laughter] >> So, what problem is your name? >> Domestic violence. >> All right. So, what's going to happen? I'm going to make it real simple for you. It's not a crazy ass charge. Okay. You're going to pray down here. You're going to get booked. You're going to go to court in the morning. They're going to give you some type of bond and you're going to get the hell out of here. Be here for a long time. So, don't even wait. No, I got more. >> All right, your shoes off for me and hand them to me, please. My toes aren't like >> Oh my god, my toes aren't on. >> Oh no. >> Nothing. >> The woman was arrested and charged with domestic violence. >> Negative on body cam bingo. We got nothing. Not one single square. It just It just didn't happen today. So, better luck. What'll give you great luck is being a subscriber. So, join here. Click there. What you're going to do is join.
