Is that what it is? The more you raise hell, the less we do for you. You're not going to see medical till we get you booked in. Do you want me to tell you in words? >> I don't need What is wrong with this guy? >> 2022, officers responded to the local Target in Athens, Georgia in reference to a disorderly man. He was yelling racial slurs to people inside. >> All right, everyone. I'm Frank Sloap. I'm a 24-year veteran of a sheriff's office here in Arizona. Today, we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. Body cam POV is the channel where we found today's video. Sam likes it. Think you're going to like it, too. While we're doing that, body cam bingo is our game. So, this is card number two. Cards number one through five come in a pack. We sell that on our online store. So, if you want to play along, you can order one. Let's get to it. What's going on, my man? I'm looking for you. United States Navy vet. I'm looking for those little mobility scooters. >> Okay. Um hold on just a second, okay? Will you hold on? Yeah. Yeah. Hold on just a second, okay? So, uh they're telling me that y'all had an incident in the back where you were being disorderly with people in the back of the store. No. Nope. Okay. What's your name, my man? Uh Okay. Um Here, step over here for me real quick. I'm fine where I'm at. What are you, though? Appreciate it. 62 Central, 27 out of Texas. So, what happened, man? I'm trying to get medicine. My toe hurts. It's in bad shape. Okay. Come on. Step >> You want to see my toe or what? Nope. Do you want to see my toe? Nope. Five out of Texas. Do you want to see my toe? No, I'm okay. Um No. You're with Athens. Yes, sir. Athens Clarke County. >> uh Appling? Sounds familiar. She's in the jail. I don't I said that would be >> John John Q. Williams? Yeah, he's the sheriff at for That would be I So, I'm a um How long you been with him? About 2 years, but I'm a county like a county police not I'm not a sheriff's deputy. So. >> Y'all have so many different types of polices. We do. We do. So, you don't work for the sheriff department. No, I work Clarke County Police Department. There's such a thing? Our ignorant friend here is from Texas, and apparently they don't have county police departments in Texas. I am a a dirty Yankee. Um so, my hometown police department is the Suffolk County Police Department. Um they're a great police department filled with great men and women. They have a they have they have a great agency overall. But, they're a county police department. They are Suffolk County Police. Um There are also Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs. Um so, there are both where I come from. Apparently, it's the same way um in Athens, Georgia. But, because it's not like that where he's from, he's uh he's having a little trouble understanding. Which, I guess when you have a very simple and undeveloped brain, um that happens. So, but there are such thing as county police departments. They're in Maryland. They're in New York. They're apparently in Georgia. It's It is It is a common thing. It's not It's not like this is the only place in the United States. This guy is just too ignorant to know any better. Clarke County Police Is this Clarke County? Yeah. This is not an incorporated area. No. It's not a city. No, I have jurisdiction in all of Clarke County though. >> Yeah, yeah, but is this a city or No, we're outside of the city limits, I believe. >> here. What do you mean? >> Sure. Well, this is your dude. Central, will you see if you can get the college to meet me at the front? >> wanting to take me to jail? I show a lot of criminals on this channel. So, basically, they called and said that you were being disorderly and you were throwing out like racial slurs and stuff like that. So, I'm going to talk to them, see what they want to do, if they want to just have you leave, if they want to have you barred, see what they want to do, and then >> got I'm trying to get my medicine and that my toes I understand. >> told me that it may be amputated. Okay. Yeah, including the foot. Oh. >> Okay. Can I show you this? No. Do you trust me it's okay. Do you trust me that what I'm telling you is I mean, I I I understand that your foot's probably hurt. >> No, it's there's a hole in it that's bigger than normal. Oh, that sounds United States Navy veteran. Oh, there we go. Did you serve County police? Did you serve? No. Thank you for your service. I appreciate it. >> As a County police for 2 years. Yep. I just just over 2. How old are you? 30 something. Oh, 32. >> how old you are? 51st Basic Police Officer Academy 1992. That's impressive. Is it impressive because you were in diapers at the very best? Probably, yeah. I was in high school. Yeah. You were in diapers. Yeah. Okay, young Are we done? No, not yet. Well, let me leave. No, not yet. Take me to jail. No, not yet. >> United States Navy veteran, and don't you forget it. >> I currently, right now, I am on a squad with multiple veterans. I'm on the SWAT team with multiple veterans. No one drops the veteran card like this guy. Like this is a This is a whole different level of um of arrogance and and someone that just feels so entitled to be treated differently. Um I I just I I don't understand what he is expecting to get from this. Okay. Oh, well. Oh, okay. Woah. Let's not go there, okay? I'm I think that's the definition of race card right there. We're going to go race card on that. >> Take me to jail, bud. You don't like it. What are you going to do? Okay. You don't like it. >> you to stop being disorderly in public, please. Take me to jail. Wow. Let's take him for disorderly. I'm going to get kids in the store. Are you going to stop? I'm sitting here trying to get medicine for my toe that might be cut off of that. Okay. Well, you're screaming out racial slurs with a whole bunch of people around and kids. And What was that? I was talking to this And I'm asking you what did you just say? Wow. We don't hear the N-word with the hard R ever as much as we've heard it even already in this video. Um it's I've been off for 24 years, coming up on 25 here in June. Uh and I have never dealt with someone ever in my 24 and a half years that speaks like this. So, this is this is out of the ordinary even for me. What did I say to you? You you you have no issue saying it, so go ahead and tell them what you said. Wow. >> I'll tell you right now, if you throw out another racial slur with people standing here, you're going to go to jail. So, stop. Okay. Come here. Unbelievable. What's wrong with this guy? >> and do they want him barred? All right. So, Skippy here is wearing a shirt I love ATL. ATL short for Atlanta. I've been to Atlanta. If he is walking down Peachtree in Atlanta dropping the the N-word with the hard R, I don't think he's going to do very well. I just I don't I don't I mean, he's obviously not doing well because he is the he is what happens when siblings breed. That's this is the byproduct is is this this type of human, but I think he'd be having an even worse day than he's having um doing that. It's bad. No, you're going to stand right here. Are any of you authorized to do that? Oh, no. Are any of you authorized representatives here so you can bar somebody? I need one of you to do so, please. He just spit in my face. Oh, okay. On top of that? What a piece of trash. That is the definition of a terrible human. Police brutality. Police brutality. I got my stuff in there, too. I got a chair and a phone charger. Police brutality. >> [laughter] >> Think you understand what that word means. What? Police brutality? >> Wait. I'm going to search you real quick. >> me? Okay. If you spit on my officer again, we're going to add an additional charge. Do you understand that? Well, it's already a charge. >> Brutality! Shut up. I just need one person to tell him that he's barred from the store and how long for. We represent We recognize up to 2 years. So, I need any representative to do that. So, let me ask you real quick before I put you in the car. You got anything you shouldn't have shoved up your ass or anywhere else? Perfect. Not right now. I'm going to need my phone. Do you have anything I can wipe my face off with? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah, I need my stuff. Shut up. Okay. Miss, just let him know how long he's barred for. Hey, I'm going to call you with asset protection. You will be barred from this location for approximately 2 years. 2 years. Thank you, ma'am. Good enough. All right, buddy. So, when you spit in people's faces, you get a what what we like to call a spit mask, okay? Yep. I'm going to lose my Stand up. You have his ID, right? I'm going to lose my hat. I need to keep that hat. Yeah. There we go. I would surmise that right now is not the first time that this guy's put a hood on. So, he probably feels more comfortable in a hood. Maybe it's it's like his natural environment, like putting a fish back into water. Um so, I think he's he's pretty comfortable having a having a hood with some white on it over his head. So, this happens when you spit in people's faces, yeah? See, your nose is not covered. You can breathe. Sit down. Sit down. I I got some hand sanitizer I'm going to wipe my face off with. I'm sorry about that, boss. It's all good. It happens. Thank you, my man. If it's unopened, I'll I'll buy them when I'm when I'm on the way out. >> yours. You sure? Took care of it. I appreciate it, man. That's cool. You gave him something to wipe that spit off his face. Is he going to spit on me? Hey, Rick. Hang tight. Will you come and help me seatbelt him in, please? Well, he's got a spit mask on. That helps. Are you out of the jail or are you good? Hm? Or you guys wanting to talk to him? No. >> Really? Yeah, we just want to see who he was. Okay. Yeah, no. I I think I'll be all right. Thank you. The VA told me I have flight PTSD. I don't like to I don't like to call it a disorder, so I just call it post-traumatic stress. According to the United States Navy, I'm a weapon. I don't consider myself that, but wow. I don't get anybody riled up, either. I'm very violent. I'm protected, though. I'm protected. United States Navy veteran. Hank. Keep your eye on the road. Hey, this buddy of mine, he got spit on him after the American, but he owes me a meal up here at Waffle House, there. This guy's Anthony. He's a nice guy, though. Black as Ace of Spades, but he's not a black dude. He's a nice guy. He I I gave him $100 and he gave me a ride. He said, "Hank, come on back to Waffle House anytime you want to eat, friend of mine." Anthony. He's not violent, though. I don't know why. He's just not. He's just one of them good old boys. Southerner, from the south. He's not a He's not Yankee trash. And he's not a You wouldn't call him >> I'm actually Yankee trash. >> he would give his name, but since you don't give your name, I can't call you by name, so I I got I'm guessing you're just generic, plain But I'd love to know your name and badge number, and believe me, I'll know it before it's over with. >> Let's see, no name and badge number on this one. before it's over with. Did you hear that? Did you hear that? I'll call you by sergeant or patrol or whatever you want me to call you. I just need to hear it come out of your mouth. I don't even need to know your name. Is it patrol? Is that how cop? I can't hear your head. I need to hear your voice. What is your title? What is your title? Patrol? I can't hear you. His head's so bad. >> too much watermelon last night? Is that what it is? Or did that your mama of yours train you to be violent? Okay. Patrol. Patrol officer. No name. But for short, we'll just call you patrolman. Oh, I forgot you're a woman. With no military experience. Yankee patrol officer. Trying to get Brian Kemp reelected. Oh, you're a You're a What's her name? What's her name? Oh, you're a You're a You're a You're a You're a You're a What's that lady's name? >> Thanks, Officer. Will you have a deputy meet me in the sally port, please? I'll be a good damn governor of uh Georgia. They both but uh Kemp said they can't. He said, "We're going to take our ballot boxes and we're going to let white people vote. And if you're a from another state, a Yankee state in particular, you don't get no vote. Take it up with Brian Kemp, the governor of the state of Georgia if you don't like it. I got one male and I'm requesting somebody meet me in the sally port, please. He's single 35. Yeah, he's also spit on one of my officers already. Okay, stay put. Thank you. Oh, you must be a sergeant. How about that? I don't see any drugs, though. Well, all I see is blue. I guess you're a patrol officer. Said, "Nah, officer, like you own me." I've never known a own anything in the state of Georgia. It's a white man, but I guess you own him. I wouldn't doubt it. He'd probably paid good money for him. How many gigolos have you had in your day? Wow. >> Is that a better word? That's not That's not racial. 6500. Patrolling from Virginia. Big fat They bring a lot less than a white Got 20 bucks for a How much do you charge? Wow. Having decades now in law enforcement, I've arrested a lot of people as most cops do during the course of their career. There are some arrests that you make that are just It's It's policy or it's a warrant. You really don't You know, it's just work. It's just business. And then there are some arrests that you make that makes your soul feel good. And I feel like this about this arrest. Like I feel like putting handcuffs on this guy literally made the world a better place. Even for a short amount of time, the world was better with him being incarcerated. So, sometimes it's business and sometimes it makes you feel good. This is a feel-good arrest. There we go. That's what I like to see. No, YOU MESSING WITH ME, BUDDY. Are you going to keep asking me why I don't like you? Yeah. All right. Don't worry, Apple. He don't like me, neither. Hands up right there. Stop What an idiot. There you go. Yep, that's it. You're welcome. Big facility. >> [clears throat] [cough] >> He gave me all the fun the last time. Oh, he's he's been mouthy the entire time, the whole ride over. Oh, yeah. This officer's awesome. >> Uh apparently I'm Oh, I I have been I have been called all kinds of N-words. I was told that I was violent. Apparently cat got my tongue cuz I refused to answer him. And uh so he said, "I want to call you by your name, but I can't cuz you won't tell me your name, so I'll just call you the N-word." Well, all right then. Okay. >> Told me that I was violent, said that I was said that my mom was a taught me how to Oh, apparently I couldn't talk cuz I ate too much watermelon last night. Oh. Loud. Yeah, he's been he's been quite colorful today. Wow. I like that there's someone shushing him. Just like, "Please stop talking. Please just stop." Wow. Y'all going to have to call EMS out here. I'm not taking him to the hospital. And he said I'm I'm a white man. A disorderly conduct as you can tell and simple battery and law enforcement for spitting on our one of my officer's face. Okay. I don't know. Not that that's okay, but No, I mean that's not okay. Were you arrested? Were you arrested? Hey. Wow. >> Officer Payne sir is my name. Officer Payne, I want you to show me I'm a white man. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Wow. I don't think respect is anywhere in any of his actions with anyone. I'm a pregnant mayor too, but sir Are you getting married? Woah. The white man wasn't happy. White man. He got free. That's a white man. Wow. Are you not going to help? I need you to tell me something. You want to take a motion? Oh lord. Talk to them. He's been locked up out of jail. Talk to them. I'm sorry. He needs to be cleared. That's what I need. My my medicines are out. My bad. They need to clear it. Who's they? The sergeant to see Brian. CBA Who's Brian? One of the And can you find the sergeant for me? And they're just like you dropped him at the hospital. Why did You dropped him at the hospital. I can listen to you all day. I made a statement yesterday to an attorney that no, we do not have any gang activity. Okay, well let me go get my cell phone so I can let my supervisor know. Y'all let me back in, please. Just kidding. I'm not coming back in. Well, let me out. I'm not coming back. Bye. Hey, I just want to let you know that I'm going to be tied up on this for a little bit. The gentleman that we arrested out at Target that spit in Young's face, took him down to the jail. They're refusing him because he's got some kind of issue with his foot. So, I'm going to have to take him over to Regional. Apparently, he's got a hole in his foot. >> All right. So, you hear this officer calls her sergeant and says, "Hey, the jail staff is making me go get a medical clearance." That is absolutely commonplace. It happens anytime someone's brought in if they have a preexisting injury, if they have an injury that was caused maybe by a car crash, maybe it was caused by fighting with the cops. But, whatever that is, if there's an injury, the jail staff, in order to limit the liability of bringing someone injured into the jail, they want a doctor to sign off that that person's going to be okay. So, that's what's going to happen here. It does not prevent that person from being booked in the jail. It simply lets them go and see a doctor first. So, that's what's going to happen here. Obviously, he was booked. This guy needed to go to jail. They're not just going to drop him off at the hospital. So, they're going to go to the hospital and emergency room doctor's going to look at him. He's going to look at his messed up toe and go, "Hey, you should probably put some Neosporin on that." Probably going to wrap it and make sure it's clean and then that guy's going to be incarcerated. What a terrible human. I have a great relationship with many of our detention staff within the sheriff's office. They do a job just as important as mine. They just do it in a different part of the sheriff's office and they deal with the same people that I do. But, out on the street, when they flap their trap, there's only so much we can do for suspects, right? You take them into custody, just like this officer. He flaps his trap, there's nothing you can do. But, when you get into the jail, jail staff are different. And if you show them respect, um you get respect back. But, this guy is going down a road where he might end up getting stripped naked and put in a room with pads on the walls, because obviously, mentally he's not all there, and they wouldn't want him to hurt himself. Um so, the jail sometimes has different ways of dealing with people that are far better than the way that we can deal with them out on the road. And I always respect that about the jail staff. And um I would imagine that this guy is going to get a level of treatment in the jail that he absolutely deserves. And good for the jail staff. You know what? And guess what? Shut this door. Leave You can go. Never mind. Holler Never mind. Holler at Count Never mind. I'll come back and get cuffs later. >> You know what? You talked to the wrong one. I'll go back and see you when I get back. The suspect was booked for simple battery on Leo and disorderly conduct. >> There is no surprise to anyone. We circled the race card on this one. I think that's Think that one's a given for this. Um but, that's it. It's all It's the only one that I could uh that I could get on body cam bingo. So, card two, not the best card for today's video, but the video was great. Another video that you guys are going to want to watch is we're going to do a YouTube live. It's going to be for the entire internet. It's going to be with my boy Nick Off Duty. Uh I'm going to be in Florida this weekend, so on Sunday, uh we're going to be doing a live. It's going to be me and Nick sitting together. Sam's going to be there. Um it's going to be in Miami. So, I'm going to be be there in South Florida. And uh hope you join us.
