She made a complaint. It says somebody was in the basement and they were injured. >> Man, that y'all got to go. Y'all got to go. >> Well, I got to ask. I mean, cuz you're making me >> No, sir. No, sir. No, sir. >> Well, you're making me a little suspicious now, >> man. Listen, you need to leave some time. I'm down there. >> No. What's your name? >> I can't tell you that, bro. >> What do you mean you can't tell me that? >> I'm trying to tell you I'm in a confidential informant. Some criminals believe their secrets are safe behind their closed doors, hidden in basement, buried in hard drives or masked by charms. But what happens when justice shows up uninvited and the life they built begins to crumble in a matter of seconds? >> Your hands back in mercy. Mercy. >> I believe in mercy. >> I'm going to take y'all's lives, okay? And I'm you. Okay? You understand me? Everybody say >> it's wrath. >> He just stabbed his dad 30 something times. >> Here are several times when cops have surprised disturbing criminals at their doorstep. Starting with Morgan Lund, a psychopath whose inability to separate her dreams from her reality led her into doing a despicable thing that she could not escape from. And I was eating all these weird things. Oh no. Blood all over me. Thought I saw something that wasn't happening. Right. >> On February the 18th, 2023, officers received a horrifying call about a woman who assaulted her ex-boyfriend with a pair of scissors 19 times while he was sleeping. When the officers got to the scene of the crime, they were met with an unimaginable sight. >> The wrong am >> right. Is it just the three of you? Uh, >> okay. >> Help me, please. Please help me. >> Yep. Ambulance is downstairs. 403 can come up. >> Copy. >> Everything's called. >> Oh, >> where are you? [Music] >> I can't. I'm getting lightheaded. Will you come? >> Where's my brother? >> He's downstairs. >> Can you tell him to call my dad, please? >> Have you got shoes or something? You can >> Oh, they're downstairs. >> Okay. >> Please. >> They're coming. >> We go. We got to go. We got to go. I can't see. >> Yep. Medics are coming upstairs. >> Is this your stuff? >> Yeah. Do you have an ID in here? >> No, it's in the car. >> Officers spoke to Morgan to gain more insight on what had really happened. But the more she replied, the more they realized that everything was beyond ordinary. >> Morgan, can you tell me a little bit more about >> No. >> No. And why is that? Keep going. >> Why? Why are you saying no? I don't understand what you're reacting to right now. Are you just scared about the situation or do you not want to talk to me? >> I want my dad. I want my dad to come here. >> Okay. I understand that, but you're you're an adult. >> So, I need you to make your own decision about whether or not you're going to talk to me. >> What? >> What do I need to tell you? >> The questions that I was asking. What kind? >> Oh, I was I was sleeping and then it >> I don't know. I was like half awake. I bring her out here every morning. >> Uh-huh. And I mean, I've seen the same thing before, >> but I've never done anything like that. >> You have seen the same thing before? >> Okay. Have you ever had any kind of medical treatment for anything like that? >> Have you seen a doctor, a psychologist, counselor, anything like that? >> Not too embarrassed to talk to anybody here. >> Okay. Do you remember coming out here? >> And were you asleep immediately? We're coming out here again. >> Okay. >> 6:00 a.m. >> I got out at 6:00. >> And then you went back to bed. Is that right? >> Yeah, I went back to bed. I didn't I didn't get much sleep last night. I don't know why. >> Okay. >> And then I fell anyway asleep. >> And you And you what? >> I finally fell asleep and I was eating all these weird things. Oh no. He just looked all over me. >> But you don't remember coming back out. But you do remember seeing something. It was like it was like in my head though. I don't It wasn't real. >> That's what I was like, what is going on? I didn't know what was happening. >> Can you describe for me what you saw? It was like I don't know. It was like something black. >> Shoot the scissors. No, it's still there. >> And then he was like I felt like I don't know. But it was like then I was like is it attacking the thing that I saw? I don't know. I was all confused. Like I was I thought I saw something that wasn't happening. >> Run. >> I don't know. >> I'm going to ask you to do a favor for me. Okay. Can you come over in front of this white wall so that can take some pictures with you? >> How long have you had those? >> Like a year or like a half of a year? I don't know. Half of a year like this half year start happening. I don't know. >> You're 212. >> Whenever you see things like that. >> I need my dad. I need my dad to come. >> Okay. >> We'll try to get >> get up. Not just yet. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. >> So whenever you see these things, um, how do you feel? >> I I just felt like my like my heart was beating really fast. I was really scared. Okay. >> And I feel like some like completely somebody else. >> You feel like somebody else? >> Like it's not even me. Emma, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. I don't know anybody. Oh my god. And what is >> As the interrogation progressed, more mysterious details came to light, leaving the officer in awe. You usually see the same thing. >> And I feel like somebody else. It feels like it's not even me. If you had to physically describe what you were seeing, like big or small, black or white, >> gray, blue, whatever. >> Like a like a like a blob. >> Like a blob. >> Like a black blob. >> Like a blob, but like a finger. >> Okay. [Music] >> Do you see a dark figure? But it doesn't look like a person. >> Am I understanding that right? >> It's just sort of the the shape. >> And I could hear I hear I could hear him. Yeah. >> And then I came out and I saw something like over him. So I don't know like what was like real and what's not real. I don't know if I was dreaming, [Music] >> but the other experiences that you've had have been when you were awake. >> Yeah, we're like half awake. >> Okay. Right before you went to bed or right after you woke up? >> Both. >> Both. >> But it's usually >> I would never do that. I would never do that to you. But it's usually that same sort of dark figure that you see. >> Yeah. But it's like it's like there's some it's something in my head. It's not like I don't know how to explain it. >> But when you see it, your heart beats really fast and you you feel afraid. >> And I just feel like like something's taking over me like I don't know. And now it's like everything's normal. And that happens every time. >> What is going on? >> Where did you get the scissors from? Do you remember? >> It was right It was right next to him on the >> on the sofa. >> I literally didn't like go looking and they're like He was right there cuz >> when I came in, he was sitting over here. Is that where he was sitting when you came out? >> Okay. Oh my god. I was Oh, stop trying. I never got to help with him. Oh my god. I would never hurt anybody. >> I believe you. It's not that simple. >> But I'm not going to be able to see her >> right this minute or ever. >> That's not That's not likely to happen. what's going to happen. >> I don't know. >> But obviously at this point it's important that you that you see a a doctor and get assessed, right? [Music] cuz they do have >> I don't want it to be horrible again. >> Yeah, >> they can give me like medication >> and they make medications specifically for if you if you are seeing things that you know aren't there. Um they can give you stuff that helps address that specifically. The conversation grew intense with each passing moment, making officers wonder what could come next. Have you had other things that you don't think are there? Like you're where you're hearing voices or >> hearing voices? >> No. >> And does the figure ever speak? It's like like makes a noise like dark noises deep voice but not like seeing anything. >> Okay. >> Oh my I wasn't trying to do that. I was not trying to do that. >> You weren't trying to do what ended up happening. You mean >> Okay. The cops spoke to Morgan's brother who gave a terrifying and precise explanation of what he saw. >> I'm freaking out. >> Okay. Is that your sister? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, what happened? >> Um, just sleeping. >> You were sleeping? Okay. >> Sleeping. I just hear screaming. I thought they were just fighting like normal and it starts getting loud loud. What the hell? >> Was he screaming back at her? It was kind of like a I don't even know like get off and be like help. I I just got my >> And that was him saying that. >> I don't even remember. Okay. And open the door. They're on top of each other. See? >> What do you mean on? So they both were on top of each other. >> He was like on top of her trying to take his knife out of him or something. I don't know. >> Okay. So Okay. How was she positioned? >> Like when you say when he was on top of her, was he like straddling her? >> Yeah. He like had a wrist down >> and then holding her wrist like straddling her like that. >> Okay. >> And then >> was he bleeding already at that time? >> Yeah. >> Where was he bleeding? Where'd you see >> his arm and stuff? And then I had seen the couch. >> No. Go over there. I don't even know. She's That was like when it was ending. >> Okay. Was she saying anything at this time? >> She's just freaking out. I don't know. She's saying she doesn't know what happened. she that she was seeing stuff, having a dream or something, and then realized it was real. >> Okay. Does she suffer from mental health? >> I think since she's had a kid cuz they >> it's their kid. >> Yeah. And then >> I just went out there, ran out, call the cops. >> With the undeniable evidence at hand, the officers made their next move. Even though they hadn't fully grasped the situation quite yet. >> Like my dad's taking her for the next two nights. Where am I staying? I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure yet. I'm not going to lie to you about that. Okay. >> You're not going to stay here or at my dad's. >> I don't know. [Music] >> And flip flops for shoes. You said something like that. >> Oh, they're downstairs. >> Okay. >> They're downstairs. Okay. Do you have anything that is there something in there? It's a zipper for my jacket. >> We're ready to go. Okay, >> Morgan. >> Um, the other officer is going to grab your things. Uh, we'll put your shoes on downstairs. I don't want you to misunderstand it. And I don't want you to be scared. I am going to put handcuffs on you before we get in the car. Uh because of the policies we have for transporting people who aren't free to leave, but I will take them off when we get to the police department. So, you're going to have them on for maybe 10 minutes. What do you need to put on for flip-flops or shoes? >> So, after the two days, >> we'll work through it. We'll just work through it. So you guys are you know what's going to happen genuinely like what's most likely in this in this >> we don't ever know to be honest before my dad worked for a prison for so long and I work at the mental health institute I I've seen like things like this and I I just want to know like what's most likely going to happen to me >> I've been doing this for 12 years and I've never been in this situation before. >> Yeah. So this exact situation and each one is a little bit different but this exact situation >> what I will ask not to intervene is your mom and dad are outside they're going to me >> is it possible miles to help her at the vehicle do anything >> they're just I just don't want them to see her being are you okay >> yeah I don't want >> okay um we'll just walk with you and then go from there I would just ask just don't don't really talk or anything to them at this Um, we'll allow that later. Okay. Just >> they can come in and >> Yeah, we'll we'll work with you. >> Tyler looking at me. >> I can talk to him. Okay. >> Okay. >> We got to go this way. All right. >> Hang on. Not right now. Not right now. Sorry, sir. >> Okay. I'll have her punches before they go down here. >> Oh. I'm not like the people that you see on TV and a bad person. >> I didn't do it on that on purpose. >> I don't think that you're a bad person. I know what you have to say that. >> I don't have to say it. >> I recognize that you're in a really bad position here. Let's go this way so we don't have to go through the snow. >> As the officers escorted Morgan, she couldn't help but worry about what her future held. I won't be able to work where I work. >> Well, we have no idea what's going to happen yet. And sometimes it's it's a much smaller issue than than what we expect it to be. Officers tried to make Morgan comfortable despite the circumstances, but she knew that that wouldn't help her situation. >> They acknowledge that this process is super uncomfortable and it may feel at times that you're being treated like you're like a piece of evidence or something, but the reality is no one here is judging you or thinks you're a bad person. It's just the nature of things that we have to collect all the information that we can. So, >> thank you. >> We are going to have to take the sweatshirt though because it had a blood on it and and it was on you at that time. So, that's what my partner went back to the apartment to grab is another sweatshirt for you and and those socks. Okay. >> He put it on the table. >> Okay. >> Already set up. Morgan Lund was eventually charged with physical assault and recklessly threatening safety. Court records show that she eventually pleaded no contest to the charges and was later sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison and 5 years of extended supervision and probation. In a more sinister case, Eric Nimsy, a mentally disturbed man who did the most unsettling thing to his own father. >> All right, go down to your knees. Go down to your knees. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> What if I your mother? What would you do to me? Hey, I'm going to take y'all's lives. >> On May the 26th, 2025, officers of Oklahoma received a chilling 911 call from Eric, who supposedly needed an ambulance for his injured father. The dispatcher thought it was just a normal call until Eric did the most bone chilling thing imaginable. >> 911. >> Yeah, there's a man in here. I called this the second time I called. This the third time I've called. >> I understand that. I have officers on the way. Okay. >> Where is he bleeding from? >> I don't know. A couple different places. >> Hey, you get your leg. >> Your your shoulder. >> Both sides. >> How about your back? >> You want one in your foot? >> Take your shoes off. >> No. Let me get here. What do you want? Left or right foot? Which one do you want? Dispatcher, whoever you are. I'm sorry. >> Say left or right and this will be on you. >> Question is left. Left or right? >> I need to know where the bleeding is coming from. >> Hey, left or right? >> No, sir. I need to know where the bleeding is coming from. >> If you don't say left or right, if you don't answer in 3 seconds, I'm going to hang up and I'm assuming you said left. >> Okay. I'm not going to >> What is happening? >> It's okay. Just send somebody. All right. They left or right? >> No sir. I need to know where the bleeding is coming from. I'm still on the line now. No way. What is going on? >> He He wants to know left or right. It's him. What do you want? >> Who is he? >> Okay. You what? >> Right there in that same arm right there. >> No. Poor Kim. I wanted >> Oh. Full name. Whatever she is off. Go there. That might be the last one. Okay, do it. Do it. Take your shoes off. [Music] Okay, >> y'all. Count it. Six. I'll start it. >> No. Hold on. Here. >> That's fine. They're They're on their way. Hey, take your shoe off. You choose. All right. She don't want to choose for you. Take take it get back up. Take it off. Take it off. Take it off. You want >> right there then? No. Well, we said right here. Huh? >> Okay. Now y'all can hear. >> Can you hear this? >> Get down. Get down. Get down. Back over here. Try it over here. >> Okay. All of them. It's okay. It was now evident that this call was from a psychopath who was torturing his father, prompting the cops to rush to the location to save the man from losing his life at the hands of Eric. But upon getting to the location, they seemed hesitant to enter the house. >> Entering the apartment building. Clear. >> Police department. >> It's locked. >> We can't. It's locked. Come unlock it. Open the door. >> We can't open the door for us. >> It's locked. >> I'm not kicking the door in. I can hear you. Open it. >> 326 453. [Music] >> Are you able to walk? >> I'm clear. Are you able to walk? >> Why can't you open the door? >> Stay inside of there. >> Oh, sorry. Negative. >> Is anyone in the jail before3? >> Hey, we advise them. They're ordering. We kick the door down, saying they can't open it. [Applause] >> Our RP is demanding we kick the door in, stating he can't get to it. door. >> Come open the door. >> What did he say? >> I didn't hear it over him. >> There's two of you in there. One of you open the door. There is two of you in there. The one who can walk come to the door and open it. >> Sorry. Yeah, I guess I'm clear. I hear nothing going on other than him setting the camera. >> Come open the door. Come talk to me. All right, we're trying. >> All right, you ready? >> With a man's life on the line, the only option they had at this point was to break down the door. However, in the course of doing that, Eric finally decided to show his face. >> Clear. Open the door. >> Open it. Open the door. >> What is going on? Step out of me. Step out. >> Okay, >> we've got the door open. >> Apparently, Eric had attacked his father with a knife dozens of times and chose to involve a dispatcher in his mind games. But even after turning himself in, his sinister behavior was not over yet. All right. Go down to your knees. Go down your knees. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Mercy. >> Mercy. >> I believe in mercy. >> Is there anybody else in the apartment with you? >> What's going on? >> I got my grandfather. Is there blood all over you? >> What's the blood from? >> Restore medical. >> All right, get up. Hop up. >> Okay, >> that's a we go to this truck. You got a name? >> I'm Bentley. >> I'm all right. You know me? >> I don't like to. >> You never seen me? >> I don't think so. Have you seen me? >> Mercy though. >> What do you mean by that? >> Just in general. >> Yeah. >> Okay, that's cool. So do I. But you never seen me. Picture. Nothing. Never heard of my name, face. Nothing. Let's just get a couple things established. That's fine. Talk. >> Well, let me get you in here for a minute. I got to read something. >> My face. >> I don't think so. >> You don't have any nice on you. >> Burton. >> Burton. >> I don't think so. Okay. All right. Get in there. >> Yeah. Hop in there. Have a seat and I'll talk. Let me double lock these so they don't tighten up on you. All right. Get my head back. All right. >> Okay. All right. There we go. All right, man. If you'll hop in there. Be careful getting in. >> You believe in the Holy Bible? >> Yeah. I'll be That's going to get you. That's going to get you there. Wherever you're trying to go. >> I'm not trying to go anywhere. I just want you to sit down so I can talk to you, you know. Are you going anywhere? >> I'm not planning on it. >> About 120 years. You going anywhere? >> I'll probably be right then, man. >> I'm going right. >> I got you. Okay, since I have you in handcuffs before we do any more talking, I've got to read you something by law. Okay. >> An officer tried to read Eric his rights, but the cops noticed that Eric's behavior was anything but normal. >> Do you understand your rights as I've read them to you? >> No, you have to read them again. >> Okay. You have the right to remain silent. being recorded. >> Yes, sir. Anything you say can or be used against you in court. Okay. >> You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. >> If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning. If you wish, you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. >> All right. >> Do you understand your rights as I explain them to you? >> Okay. All right, man. Go ahead and put your legs in. I got to go check on the other guy. Okay. >> Read them to me again. I need I need some understanding. Please understand. >> Put your feet in. >> Put your feet in. Okay. >> What if I said I >> I got to figure out what's going on. >> Okay. >> I don't want I haven't read my rights. I did, but he I didn't understand him. I was asking him to read them again. He wouldn't read. He said he was busy, >> right? >> We read them two or three times. >> Oh, you want me to read it? >> Hey, I'll read one more time. You want me to read again? >> I'm a little on that side. >> Okay. >> About about seven about seven times. All right. >> Okay. >> Uh you have the right to remain silent and resist two or three. Number one, you have the right to remain silent. >> No. What? How many times have you read this to me? I try. >> Maybe third, fourth. >> We'll call three. >> Okay. No. Uh, you have the right to remain silent. How old are you? >> Nothing. 34. >> Way older than that. >> 40. Way older than that. 50. Is your arm? >> 70. Don't stop neither. We'll get to it. All right. >> Do you do what what comes after whatever you just said the house >> 120 140 >> so they keep going. >> All right. >> No, it's all right. You want the answer? I want the truth. >> That's like 15 guesses, man. I'm just starting to look zillion. Okay. >> Surely you get it out of a zillion. If not, we'll give you a zillion trials if you make it that long. >> One a day. >> How many zeros are in a zillion? Well, >> ask Google. That's right. >> Hey, do that then do 120 from your birth to 120 years and then we'll figure out we'll figure out the rest. All right, >> I got you. Hey, watch your watch your feet. I got to shut the door again. Okay, >> read me my rights one more time, please. >> Here, let me shut the door and I'll come read them to you right there. Okay, >> I like for you to read them right here. >> Well, we don't want to hurt you. >> I don't I don't want y'all to hurt me. I I want you to read me my rights one more time. give them to you once you get in. >> Let me do it when you get right here and then ri me to get in. >> No, you're trying to control the situation, man. >> Hold on. Hey, look at that. >> I see. What is that? >> I think it's blood. >> What kind of blood? >> I don't know, man. But here, I'm going to shut the door. Can you get your leg in? >> Put your foot back in. Get in. All right. Put your foot in. Put your camera. I'm getting in there. >> Okay. I appreciate you. My camera's looking at you. >> All right, buddy. >> Your camera's looking at you. Put Put your foot in. >> I can only have one door open at a time, so I got to shut this one. Okay. While the cops helped Eric loosen his cuffs, he began saying very unsettling things that left them on high alert. >> I'm going to be with you for a long time. >> What? Right down here. >> Where? >> On your knees. >> Hey, man. Why would you be like that? No. >> Go over there and you you could do it from over there. >> You don't think so? >> No, I don't think so. >> What if I said I know so? >> I don't. >> Would you double down? >> Double down. I don't know. >> Oh, no. Let's record it. Figure it out. >> Hey, grab his arm. >> Yeah, go ahead. key while they're going up. Okay, remember a zillion. All right, beyond here. >> How long you been a cop? >> With D City? Just about 3 years. You're >> on my skin. That's fine. Hold on. >> We're trying not to. >> Yeah. No, take time. Do what you got to do. I'll talk to y'all. >> Got a little bit of time. These other cuffs should be a little bit uh looser feeling for you. Okay. >> I trying to figure out I was one of y'all tell me my right reading my rights again and explain to me why I'm out here. >> You know what, dude? I'll read them to you again once we get this thing. >> That's fine. Thank you. [Music] >> That feel a lot better, sir? >> Uh my side's one that's tingling. This good one, right? >> Yeah, it's filming. >> Yeah, it's fine. Hey, Mom. I love you. Love you. Well, always love you. We got a lot of red stuff. I want to make sure I might just change my handcuff. >> Talk to me about how high could I count. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's fine. Hop inside. Let's get back inside for sure. All righty. >> Now, I'm going to shut this door. >> All right, Mr. NZ, come on out here for us. >> Before I get out, you're going to answer. Lion, tigers, or bears? Lions all the way, buddy. >> How about you? >> Lions. >> How about you? >> Lions, tigers, or bears? >> No. >> Both of them are cool. >> Where you go to school, man? I said lions, tigers, or bears? >> Answer and I'll get out whenever when you all get done answering. Huh? >> Tigers. >> Tigers and lions. All right. How about you? You You want the bear? You get the bear. Six of them. Six bears. Six tigers. >> I'll get you. >> No. You're going to be special. >> Okay. >> All right. Come on out here. Come on. >> You got that. >> Okay. Y'all know me. >> Have you ever seen me? >> I haven't ever seen you. >> You ever seen my mother? >> No, sir. >> You don't know none of this. >> I don't know none of this. >> All right. Just come on here. Do you hear me? >> Here with us, >> it's going to be bad for you. Come here. >> Yeah. Y'all come get me. It's It's going to be bad for you. >> We We don't want to do that. >> Yeah. No, I didn't want to I didn't want to do what I had to do. That's >> anything you want to do. >> We're going to have to pull you out. >> You do. I'll get out. All I just wanted to hear was that. Hey, say say amen. >> Come on out here. >> Okay. All right. >> We're going to We're just going to stand out here like a like a human. >> Like a human. Would you would you human? >> If I had to. >> What if you had to? Yeah. What if you What if it was for some money and it was for the wrong reasons? >> I wouldn't do that. What? What if I mother? What would you do to me? I asked one of these guys, Billy. He wouldn't answer me. >> Mr. Nimsy, come on. Step out. >> I just answer that real quick. All right. >> Tell me what you would do to me if I have to mother >> and I fell into your hands. >> Okay. >> Well, I don't want you. >> No. No. No. This is This is This is real, though. This is real life. What's happening? >> Yeah, that's fine. What just happened over there? Was that real life? >> It was real life. >> Oh, yeah. >> Uh-huh. >> Okay. Hey, you get a good picture of that. >> Get a good picture of what? >> What? What you seen in there? >> Yeah. What was it? >> We got several of them. >> What was it? >> I don't know yet. >> You don't You don't see You don't know what you seen? >> I I don't know yet. No, I don't know. >> Did you go in the house? The apartment complex. Did you see anything in the kitchen floor? >> I saw a lot of stuff in the kitchen. >> What did you see? Red stuff. >> Yep. >> What? Some of this stuff? >> Yep. >> As the conversation went on, it became very clear that Eric was a very dangerous individual. >> Well, hey, just take that picture. Keep it visual. Okay. And I I'll remind you of it. Okay. Come on out. All right. I'm going to get out. All right. Please get out. Hey. I'm going to take y'all's lives, >> okay? >> And I'm going to >> Okay, come on. >> You understand me? >> Everybody say, >> "Okay, >> it's rough." >> Okay. >> You're going to be special. You're going to be special. You're going to be special. Look at Look at me. It's okay. Hey, >> that's fine. I'm going to get out. You're going to look at me, too. And I'm going to take your life. >> Everybody's looking at you. But we're getting awful. We're getting awful tired. Okay. >> Okay. Do that again. One more time. >> You know what I'm talking about. If I just go like that, what will you do? >> You know what I'm talking about. When I do that, I'm not talking about your tip. >> Hey, get some water. >> That's fine. >> Let's go. >> Just come on. Come on. Come on. >> You don't You don't know what I'm talking about. You do that that taser thing one more time. >> The taser thing. >> Yeah. Y'all do that to my mom. >> Y'all do that to my mom. >> We'll tase you. We'll beat you. We'll let you drink all this lick. Come on out with We can go. We can go. Okay. >> Here's what I'm going to ask you to do. I'm going to ask you to step right back here. Okay. That's fine. Do me a favor, Mr. Ny. Go ahead and go down to your knees first. That's fine. Go ahead and go down to your knees. >> I'll remember this moment. All right. We will. We will. All right. Now, fold all the way down on your belly. All the way down on your belly. We'll support you till you get there. >> Okay. We're not going to let you fall. We're going to take some clothes off of you. >> The officers went on to check the suspect into jail. And with all the evidence stacked against him, there was no way he would get out of this one. >> He just stabbed his dad 30 something times. >> You got to talk to We cut them out >> cuz they were soaked in blood. You got to save those clothes. You got to say those clothes for me. >> Yeah. Yeah, bro. I got you. >> Yeah. Souvenir. All right. Down here on your knees. I'm in front of you. All right. Show you what's about to happen. >> Okay. >> Okay. Look at me. >> I'll come down there. >> Yeah. There. >> It's okay. >> It's okay. depends on a lot of those people. >> In the end, Eric was charged with domestic assault and battery with the dangerous weapon, as well as domestic assault and battery resulting in great bodily harm. The case remains open. While Eric got caught early into his atrocities, the next guy got a visit from the cops after 19 years of assaulting a young girl. Don't >> think you I'm still curious about what all this is about. On August the 3rd, 2025, officers knocked on the door of a man who was suspected of predatory assault against a young girl. Gave him the shock of his life. >> Hey, how's it going? >> Good. >> Are you Andrew? >> Yes. >> Can I talk to you real quick? >> Sure. >> What's up? >> Um, are you with the kids? Home with the kids? >> No. >> No. They're at school or Okay. All right, Andrew. So, here's the deal. Okay. And we're going to talk about this when we go back to the office. Okay. But you're under arrest right now. Okay. So, go ahead and put your hands behind your back for me. >> Can I get my wife real quick? >> We can get her before we leave. Yep. Okay. We'll let her know. >> You mind if I yell in for her? >> She's upstairs. >> Is she going to hear me if I yell? >> Probably not. >> Can we walk in with you? >> Yes. >> All right. >> David 10 cascade one custody. The officers did their jobs while the suspect acted as if he was lost in space. >> So, we're going to hop in the car up here, but I got to search you first. Hold up to the front hood of that car right there. Yeah. >> Usually, it's just like a big bag of people forget in there or something. So, I I don't touch drugs. >> That's good. It's not good for you. >> Please. Thank you. >> Um, do you want me to give this stuff? That's not yours. But do you want me to give this stuff to Courtney? >> Yes, please. >> Okay. >> I prefer for her to just hold on. >> Yeah. That way we don't have to track it around and figure out what's going on. >> So, there's a a little cutout there in the plastic seat for your hands if you So, there's a running board there if you need. Just watch your head. And once you get down there, it's not very comfortable. >> I don't know if I'll be able Oh, there we go. My My knees are shot, so trying to >> Gotcha. Is there anything I can do to make it more comfortable or do I need to help you get your leg up there? >> I don't know if I can get my hands into a comfy spot. That's the problem. There we go. >> We're just heading to the Anacord police department there. It's not very far. >> You okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. I mean, I'm I'm still curious about what all this is about and what's going on. >> So, I got to talk to Detective Corp. Michael there. >> The officers proceeded to explain the situation to the suspect's wife, but she didn't seem to be very surprised. Rather, she spilled some interesting and troublesome details. >> Hey, so you're corny? >> Yeah. >> Okay. baby when they were came. >> Okay. >> Um and there's been a no contact order in place. >> For how long? >> Um since June of last year. >> And when did she accuse him of this? >> She accused him this just a little over a year ago. >> Okay. >> Shortly before the no contact order. >> Oh, >> that's the only thing I know of. She accused him in 2011 um after hearing about um something happening to her youth pastor and like kind of I don't know kind of took it on as her own like like oh this happened to me kind of thing. >> Who was her youth pastor? >> I don't know I don't remember him through they went through like an internal like thing with him. Um and then she like >> what do you mean by internal? >> Internally it was like with the um like the Salvation Army. Um, so they launched their own little like investigation. Um, and then she went through and like recanted her statements of like, oh, this never actually really happened and this kind of thing. So went through a whole spiel like we didn't talk to her for a really long time. Um, and so that was that that was the end of it. A little over a year ago, she started it back up again. like she got into a new relationship and one of her old friends was like, "Hey, just so you know, she said this happened to her and then he her fiance, boyfriend or whatever um decided um that they wanted to like make it into a thing again." And I'm like, "Okay, I this never even happened." Falsely accusing him this whole time. Um and so um in April he tried to call her to kind of just talk to her about um there was other things going on with the family too. Um he goes like he contacted her because she wasn't talking to her mom anymore and he didn't know anything like they had a really good relationship but we had to put that trust back up and kind of thing. like she'd come to visit and stuff like that. No issues, nothing until like a little over a year ago, like resurfaced everything. And so then he tried so tried to call her about what was going on, like why she wasn't talking to mom anymore. I'm like, "Hey, I'm here for you. What's going on?" And then on that at that time in April, this would basically she used this phone call against him. It's like no, I told him never to contact me again. Did not happen right. So there was no contact order, but in case he actually flew from Colorado to be a court hearing cuz he was like, I'm not going there show. So, he went there, did the court hearing, and then the contact order went from um not having like having it like permanent one forever to just a one-year no contact order. >> So, who said she recanted? How did >> it was Well, his mother When you say allegations, what allegations are you talking about? >> She accused him of of raping her um when they were when they were teenagers. like he she he's like four years older than her. >> Um and so he accused her of that. >> Okay. >> Or she accused him of that. Excuse me. There was a bunch of stuff where um his her fianceé, boyfriend, whatever he is now. Um he like was being like super aggressive towards his towards her mom or to my husband's mother and like threatening her. And so she tried to like say, "Look, I don't want you around." and tried to do a restraining order cuz he was just going psychotic. And then um then it it got thrown into the mix that oh you're protecting your son but not your daughter scenario. That's when my husband reached out to us like in like in April and was like, "Hey, you know, I just want you to know I'm here for you. you know, he's trying to like be there for her because he knows what it's like when um like his mom didn't care for fiance or girlfriend or anything like that cuz I've dealt with that in the past with her. And then that's when the restraining order, like the papers were restrained at that point. So from there, I was like, "Okay, restraining order, cool. We don't need to talk to her anymore. He's cool with not talking to her anymore either." deleted their phone numbers, blocked her, blocked him on everything cuz I was just like, I'm not we're not going down this road of like this game that she's playing anymore. So, we just decided that we're cutting ties with her. Even though she's in control obviously with the legal legal system as far as like getting the paper like restraining order, um it's was more like cool, this is more of a mutual decision than anything else. stuff. >> Upon arrival at the station, the officers had an intense conversation with the suspect who thought it was wise to blame the victim. After the conversation, the suspect thought it was over, but it was just beginning. >> You going to be able to step out? Okay. A running board right here if you need it. Good. The custo right here. Just go take in here, please. Corporal Mike will be in here in just a little bit to talk to you. Okay. >> If you need something, there should be somebody on the other side of that window so you can have on the boss. >> All right. So, here's the deal. Talk to my boss. Okay. And the attorney's office, okay? And if you want to go to the jail for the night, okay? Cuz what that does is you see a judge immediately and the judge can decide if this is something we need to hold you for, you can go back home. Otherwise, it's kind of just hanging off in the air. And then worst case scenario is then the judge looks at goes, "Whoa, why did this guy not get in front of me?" And then puts a warrant out for you. And then that's a whole another nightmare, right? Okay. >> So, it's probably better just to get it done immediately and that way. You might even if you get over there fast enough, they might even still judge him. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, so that's what they're going to want to do at this point. That way, the judge will be able to look at the the paperwork and say, you know, no, he doesn't be here or whatever. It's up to them at that point. All right. Okay. The suspect was eventually sentenced to prison for 2 years and 2 months for the charges of familial abuse in second degree and assault in third degree. The last case had a surviving victim, a Christopher Schulty's victim who happened to be his own daughter was not so fortunate. He thought he was off the hook until the cops knocked on his door. >> Do I being treated like a murderer? >> No, >> I just lost my face. >> Not at all. I know. >> And I know this isn't easy for you. >> Okay, so listen. Listen. Listen. Okay. This doesn't change what's happen. >> This doesn't change what what's going on. I don't want the kids to see dad get hauled off. >> Am I going to be there for my baby? >> On July the 7th, 2024, an emergency call came in with a man frantically reporting his daughter was unresponsive in a car. The officers arrived at the scene as quickly as possible. After further examination, they broke the heart-wrenching news to the father. who gave an award-winning performance, not knowing the unexpected was about to come into play. [Music] Sir. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Northwest. >> Yeah, they're they're going to banner right now. We're going to keep you updated with everything. Okay. We just need to stand by with you right now. All right. Is that your wife out there? >> Yes. >> Okay. We're going to make sure she gets down there. Okay. All right. We have officers escorting her down there. Um, if we need to, we will drive her down there and we'll make the same accommodations for you. All right. We'll keep you updated with everything they have. [Applause] time. [Applause] Thank you. Heat. Heat. Can we get you anything? >> What? [Applause] >> Yeah. Babe, >> okay. I can't believe this. This can't be happening. She wants me to try and get a ride to the hospital. >> Hey, we will we'll accommodate that for you. All right. Um we're just going to need to get a statement from you about what happened, what's been going on. Obviously, I know this isn't easy for you, okay? It's not easy for anyone around right now. We're going to keep you updated with everything we hear. Do you want to sit down somewhere? Where would you be most comfortable? >> Sure. [Music] >> You want me to refill this for you? >> Can I sit? Is that all right? The officer began questioning Christopher, who tried to make his reckless behavior look as if it wasn't entirely his fault, not knowing that the evidence against him was not far away. >> My daughters were at Elevate with uh my friend next door. They got home about uh 2:45 or so. And then um We've just been hanging out at home. She was sleeping at the car and I had the car on. Um, but it has a sensor where every 30 minutes or so it'll turn off if you haven't moved. Um, I swore she was in the house playing with her sisters like she always does that. right now. I haven't been doing anything else really on the house and like >> what's never do this anywhere, but I'm home, right? Like you're you're you're home. You're safe. You're like your kids are home, [Applause] >> right? I'm I'm sorry this is all going on. >> We always park that car in the garage usually, but I just got a Pelaton recently and the Pelaton is in the garage now. So that's why it's not even in the garage. But >> And how long was she sleeping in the car out there? >> I want to say it was no more than 30 45 minutes. And I don't think the air was off that entire time. I think there was a time in between. I had checked on her last. It was still running. She was still sleeping. And then when I went back out, the car was off. Christopher thought that playing the victim would let him off the hook, but instead it only paved the way for what was coming. >> Just to let you know, I don't I don't want to feel like we're intruding, but we're going to have to stand by with you for a while. All right. Um, >> is there a reason why? >> So, any any death we have to treat like a crime scene? >> I I know this is extremely difficult for you. Um, this is a normal process that that we have to follow through with. I don't want you to be blindsided by anything, but that's that's what's going to be going on for right now. Okay? >> So, I'm being treated like a murderer. >> No, >> I just lost my face. >> Not at all. I know that. >> And I know this isn't easy for you. That's that's why I'm trying to be straightforward and honest with you, okay? I don't want to keep any secrets. I don't want to hide anything for you. Someone's going to talk to you about what happened, though. All right. We will keep you updated with everything. >> My whole family, my my whole family is going to be ruined. >> Shower. >> So, we we can't let you do that right now. We have to stand by with you. Okay. As soon as you can, we will let you know. >> You can stay in the room if you want, but I'm going to talk to you. I I know this isn't easy for you, but the quicker we get this done and finish up, the sooner you can be with your wife. All right? >> I'm trying I'm trying to rinse off so I can go into the hospital and be with my wife. >> We're not going to shower or anything right now. You need to stand by with us. >> I don't understand why. >> Okay. Please. >> I don't understand why. >> I I tried explaining that to you. We just need to stand by. >> I'm standing by. Why can't I take a shower while you stand by? What? What is >> It's It's not necessary right now. I'm not going to stand here and watch you shower. There'll be time for that, but it's not right now. Okay. Further interviews were conducted. Christopher stuck to his deceit, unknowingly digging himself deeper. When the investigation was over, officers communicated the results to Christopher, and he didn't take it the best way possible. >> Step out real quick, man. All right. Um, so remember how I talked >> Can we Can we do this maybe out here so the kiddos don't have to hear? One is sleeping and one's next door. >> Um, so remember how we talked about the investigation and things that would transpire. >> Okay. And I told you I'm always going to tell you guys the truth. There's no there's no secrets here, right? So, based off of our investigation at this point, right, we have determined that there's probable cause to go ahead and charge you for what happened. >> Let's come out here, Christopher. >> That's okay. >> No. >> Okay. So, listen. Listen. >> Listen. Okay. This doesn't change what's happen. >> This doesn't change what what's going on. Okay. What happens at this point? It's simple. Okay. What happens at this point is you are going to be taken into custody. Okay? And you will be booked and then after you are booked, you have an initial appearance with a judge within the first 24 hours. Okay? After the first 24 hours, right, the judge will determine bond and things like that as far as what happens next. At that point, the case goes to the courts. It'll be between you, it'll be between your attorneys, and it'll be between the county prosecutor. So again, I can't change the the consequences of what happened. All right? But what I what I'm going to ask of you >> Okay. >> I just want you to stand here. >> Come on, Chris. Let's Let's go over here. >> Can you grab him some shoes, please? >> No. >> They're right there. They're right there. Let me put shoes on. >> Can I just ask one thing, please? Yeah. >> Can you just Can you say bye to our kids? >> Okay. So, so, so, so listen to what I'm saying. >> I'm not resisting. >> Just relax. Just relax. Christopher, I need you to listen. >> Just relax. >> Just relax. >> And, and these are the options. Okay. The reason I'm here and meeting with you in person. >> The reason I'm here meeting with you in person is because I don't want this to be anything more than what it needs to be at its base. Like, I don't want the kids to be traumatized. So the kids wait till after the funeral. >> I don't want the kids to see dad get hauled off. >> Am I going to be there for my baby? >> That's going to be between you and the court. >> Can I give him a kiss? >> Yeah. >> I love you. >> There you go. >> Chris, I'm going to be here and I'll take care of everything. >> I love you. >> Our funeral is Friday. No heart. No heart at all. Okay. >> You go in the moment of conversation. >> Yeah. >> So, I know there's a lot going on and I know you're angry and it's okay to be angry. Okay. >> As an arresting officer, I can't change the law. >> I know. But seriously, >> his daughter, he's suffering. >> I know >> the funeral. >> I I know. I know he's feeling the guil. I know he's feeling angry. I can't change the law. Okay. >> In the end, Christopher Schulties was charged with seconddegree homicide and parental negligence. A grand jury later upgraded his charge to firstdegree homicide. Still on cops surprising, disturbing criminals right at their doorsteps. We have Delante Edmund Gigger, a maniac who kidnapped and tortured a woman and thought he could escape accountability, but got the reckoning he deserved. >> She made a complaint that says somebody was in the basement and they were injured. >> That y'all got to go. punched on her, slapped on her, moved her from the basement to another room, fed her, showered her, gave her some water, put a blanket over her. Well, why would the crack be here then? >> Wow. >> And the most confidential informants don't come screaming out the back door. I'm a confidential informant, do they? >> Delante thought that he had gone off the hook, but forgot that actions have consequences. >> Hey, mind. >> No, dude. There's too much going on. >> No, no, no. >> All right, stand outside. Leave this though in case you scream. >> Nobody about to do nothing to y'all. Do you >> seriously? It's just >> I said I'm trying to change my life and work with the police. Like I don't I just don't do that every day. You feel me? >> Turn that down for a while. The officers once again began to search his apartment and as expected they were going to be met with a few hurdles along the way. >> Hey Sergeant I appreciate this um app my nerves. What's up bro? How y'all doing? Sad people. Sad people. Sad people. You know, everybody know >> I need y'all to come through the back door. Okay. >> Back door. >> Yeah. Yeah. There's some blood right here. >> There's some blood like dried blood I think. >> Sir, please turn it all the way down. Yeah, some music. Can you turn the music down? >> No. Turn that music off. The officers were committed to getting to the bottom of the situation, but the next thing they found out was beyond anything they could have imagined. >> Anybody on that front porch? Well, >> so what's that noise I keep hearing that you keep turning the music up on every time I hear something? >> Is anybody on there? >> I heard him dragging something out when we went from the front to the back, too, just so you know. >> Is anybody in that front, man? Cuz I heard voice or min noise. Yeah. Who's out there? Who's out there? >> Sweating a lot. >> Can you hear it? >> Oh, please. >> Who's out there? >> Where you at? >> She's under. Sorry, Carol. >> No, Carol. >> Cheryl. Here. Help my legs out. >> Help my leg. >> All right, we got EMFs coming. I don't want to move you cuz I don't want to hurt you more. Can you breathe? >> I can now. >> Okay. >> I want Cheryl. >> Cheryl, do you know? Is there anyone else here with you? >> I don't know. >> Okay, >> Cheryl. >> I don't know. They hurt. >> You hurt? All right. I do want to get you out of there, but I'm afraid to move. I'm going to let the EMS do all that. Okay. >> What did he do to you? >> He did what? >> Hey, you want fire to come? At least get her upright. >> I know. If we get fire here, they can here. >> No, but >> we got no ETA on EMS. >> Huh? >> Did he stab you? >> Yeah. Where are you stabbed? You think you're harmed? Who sexually assault you at all? >> Do you know how long you've been here? >> Is it just one day? >> There's a story here, >> dude. There's a lot. I don't even know where to begin. This this might not be the only victim, >> but we just searched the house and we didn't find anything else. >> Following the chilling discovery, officers conducted another search in Dante's residence, not knowing what to expect. >> She was supposed to be wearing a pink hoodie. [Music] >> Oh Jesus. >> Cat scared the hell out of me. And the attic's done. >> There was there was a pink hoodie. That was it. >> Did she say it was this room or >> She just said that like he was transporting her from like the basement up here and >> like that there was going to be an AK-47 in here. >> Yeah. We might have to pull it apart to find a serial number. >> The next night, officers questioned Dante at the station and his responses revealed that he had nothing but lousy justifications for his actions. >> Obviously, we know some bad things did go down yesterday. Do want to give you a chance to go over it. >> Confidential informant for Detective uh Larry Smith out of the second district. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um >> how long have you been doing that for? >> About a week and a half now. >> Okay. >> About a week and a half. Um, and that was like I wasn't going to though. I wasn't going to I've been fever and you know what I'm saying, but I just can't have her. I don't want to I just cuz I'm working with Detective Smith trying to get him two guns, five AKs, four Glocks three that's supposed to be going into the valley like next week. You know what I'm saying? I'm trying to get him fake red who moves 6 ounces a day on Coke crap. You know, I'm trying to get him. The scriptures are out today. But like I found out that this is that and you know what I'm saying if I was >> you found out that what >> that that that the lady that that that what I was taking care of in my house um is a rat and if she was to get back out on the street explode. >> Well since she she she's always at my house smoking dope. >> Okay. So I take care of everybody on the streets. All the fiends that that's where they live at. >> Okay. >> You know what I'm saying? Long story short. That's that's ground zero for the cracking. I left my house and before I got four tires on the street. The police is hitting the block. I don't know what the going on swerving around up on the sidewalk trying to get around them cuz I don't know what's going on. My face. Get out the car. Get out. What are you guys doing? Turn the car off. Empty out your pockets. I ain't got nothing, bro. Y'all tripping like y'all y'all justed up. Like what's going on? I had to stay with me. Oh yeah. You know we can get you for this since that note is right here. We going to get you for that, man. Listen, bro. I cannot go back to prison, bro. What do you need me to do? Detective told her, "Thank you. Bye." >> Detective Smith said, "Thank you. Bye. Keep on walking." >> Listen to the detectives as we all got out the car. Detectives like, "You can go. Thank you." >> Okay. >> And I feel like my life is in danger. People have tried to kill three times already. You feel me? I have been shot. I know my underarm, blood, all type of weird. It's crazy. I felt like I was going to die if I didn't hold her for like two days and tell her like let her know what was going on. I her up. I fed her, showered her, all type of weird, made sure she ate, but I just could not let her go back on the streets and tell everybody that I was working for you. >> Like everything that went through like the time where you and Cece were together, like what happened during those days? on her. Hunched on her, slapped on her till her >> hunched on her, slapped on her, punched on her, slapped on her. >> Punched on her, slapped on her, moved her from the basement to another room, >> fed her, showered her, gave her some water, put a blanket over her. >> I'm just telling you the truth, right? >> No, that's fine. >> What her? >> No. Okay. >> Is that what you about to ask me? >> No. Ask me. >> No. Like, were you giving her drugs and stuff like that? >> Why would I give her my drugs? >> Why would I do that, man? >> I didn't know. I don't know. >> All right. >> So, at any point were when was she asking to leave? Different things like that. >> She has nowhere to go. >> Okay. >> She has nowhere to go. All she was just asking was why. Stop. I won't do it again. I'll never tell. I'll never tell. I'll never tell. BL, please. I'll never tell. I know I deserve this, but I'll never tell. Like, that's a coder in the streets. Would have been dead. Long story short, I wanted She would have been dead. So >> Dante showed no sign of remorse. Rather, he felt that he had the right to teach the officers their job. >> One time the first time yesterday with you and stuff like that. >> They asked check the basement. She wasn't in the basement. She's upstairs laying down in the bed. We're down in the basement. >> So let me ask you cuz there was a moment in time I wasn't there so I can't speak on it or anything. So there was a moment to where like you were still inside the house for a little bit. Did you have to call anybody to ask if you should let the cops in or anything like that? >> My detectives. >> So then at that point, he told you just to let them in if you want to check the basement. >> He said they're not going to He said case like a matter like this, they're not going anywhere until you let them in the house and check the basement. If you don't, they're just going to come back with a search warrant and check it anyways. I said, "All right, babe. Good. 5 minutes come in in 5 minutes. Took me 3 minutes to put her upstairs in the bed and two minutes to let them in the house and one minute for them to not do their job and go home. They only wanted to search one room. They searched that one room. She was here and they left. >> Okay. >> Stupid them. >> All right. So, right. You should search the whole house. >> Yeah. >> We found somebody. We Somebody's in the basement. Okay. Come on in. Check down in the basement. Nobody's there. See you later, sir. Job. Y'all supposed tables. Open up the refrigerator. That's horrible. Walmart. I'll be the first to say a missing body. >> Pretty serious. >> Yeah. >> Do you think so? >> Yeah. >> All right. Well, next time take it serious. >> As the interrogation advanced, the reasons why Dante did certain things were brought to light. >> Yeah. So, the the first time the police came, you said you moved her upstairs, right? And then she was upstairs. Obviously, the second time the police came, she was in that tote, right? What? How did that go down in between there? >> Well, I really wanted to check it upstairs, >> right? But I'm I'm saying how did she get in there? >> I put her in there. >> Okay. >> And put her downstairs and put her on the porch. >> Okay. >> Anything else? >> Why did you Why did you have the music going so loud? >> Just in case if she made noise, they wouldn't hear. When the officers eventually spoke to the victim, she stated that he was accused of being an agent and over a period of time, he physically assaulted and put her in different containers. For some reason, Delante thought that he would go scot-free, but he was just deluding himself. >> Try to help me or not. >> Well, like I said, it'll go from there once you see the judge and like the case starts moving forward. >> No, but you guys have to talk to the judge though and let her know that I am a confidential informant and that like I am working with the police. Like I understand I'm in trouble. But what I need you guys to do is like get them. >> Well, I'll put in the paperwork to let them know for >> you know what I'm saying? Cuz I I I like doing my job. I like my job. And like I don't want on the streets. I don't want drugs on the streets. I can't do that if I'm in here. Detective Smith will buy me out. Believe it or not, he'll if I get a bond, he'll come buy me out. You know what I'm saying? So, I'm not I just need a bond and DT DT Smith will come buy me out and I'm going right back to work. >> Volante was later informed that his bond was $750,000. information which he responded to with a middle finger at his hearing. Dante Edund Guyger eventually plead guilty to one count of felonious assault, one count of kidnapping, one count of possessing a weapon under disability, and one count of tampering with evidence. He was sentenced to 16 to 20 years behind bars, and is expected to be released in April 2039. If you thought that last case was bad, well, this one is much worse, as we see a man who got caught by the cops after hiding his own mother's unresponsive remains inside his house. Did you hear us knocking before? Were you knocked out? No, >> I was sleeping in there. >> Cuz I feel like you're [ __ ] with me. What the hell? What's the deal? >> You're going to tell me you didn't know mom was in there? No. >> What is there no contact order between you and mom for? >> You got to speak. >> On May the 5th, 2023, officers were sent to an apartment to conduct a welfare check after a concerned woman reported that she had been unable to get in touch with her sister. Upon arriving at the house and seeing it in a seemingly deserted state, the officers went over to the neighbors to find out if they had seen anything suspicious happening at the woman's house. And as they interacted with them, the situation started getting more worrisome. >> How you doing? Hey, doing good. How are you? All right, brother. >> Have you seen Laney recently? >> The girl? >> Yeah. Next door neighbor. >> Just the guys over there. >> When's the last time you seen them? >> Him? He usually walks up and down the road, but her I haven't seen her in a while. How long would a wild be? Days, months, >> day or two? >> Days. >> Three three days or something like that. >> When's the last time you seen the boys? >> Yesterday. >> Okay. Nobody today. >> Mm-m. >> Have you heard any any fighting? Anything in the last two days? Any loud commotion? >> I know it would be not abnormal for you to hear yelling and screaming coming from over there. So, >> nothing. He's only been there for like a few weeks cuz the tent wasn't there and then the tent showed up and then he was around. So, >> right. Any any commotions or anything the last couple days or before then? >> No yelling or fighting or anything like that here. They're pretty quiet for the most part, but >> Okay. >> The most I see out of the dude is just like sometimes he walks up and down the road. Today he was riding a bike. So, >> um do you know what color bike there was? >> I didn't pay attention. >> Okay. Was it just a bike or a tricycle? like a just like a full size like bike. >> Okay. All >> righty. The woman's apartment was in a deplorable state and it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned out for weeks. Even more concerning to the cops was the terrible smell oozing from inside. The nasty smell gave the officers a hunch that something was going on. And after a while of being at the house, a young man came out. >> Did you hear us knocking before were you knocked out? >> No, I was sleeping in there. >> I'm glad you woke up cuz you're about to come inside. We're looking for mom. You have you seen her? >> She's not around right now. >> Do you know where she's at? Sister's asking for her. She's not in any trouble or anything like that. >> I have no idea. >> When was the last time you saw her? >> Few days ago. >> Where'd she go? >> Said she back. I see. >> Is it abnormal for mom to be gone for >> days at a time? >> Sometimes. >> Where does she usually go? Does she have a favorite place where she likes to go when she's not home? >> Not that I know. >> Does she tell you anything out of the normal when she last time you saw her? >> No. >> What happened the last time you guys were together? She gave me a few cigarettes and a little bit of food and some hand soap for my hands. Told me I would come stay back here. >> Okay. >> But you haven't seen mom since then. >> When's the last time you text called her or anything like that? >> Okay. When was the last time you saw dead? A >> week ago. >> Do you know where he's staying at? >> No. I heard that she might have called the cops on him. >> Yeah, he he got arrested the 25th of last month for trespassing. >> Do you know who stays in the tent? >> That's where I was staying before she decom told you you could come before she left. Yeah. >> Would it be all right if we just went inside to make sure she's not in there? >> It's on my house. >> Huh? >> I can't tell you no. >> Okay. >> But you stay here and it's your mom's house. >> And we're looking for mom. So, we just want to make sure mom's not stowed away in a closet or something. dad didn't come back and retaliate for getting arrested or something like that. >> So, if you're not going to tell me yes or no, then we're just going to peek her head in there real quick and then we'll come back outside. >> The man who managed to keep his act together all along began to act suspicious as soon as the officers mentioned that they were going to search the house. Once he led the officers to the back of the house and forced the door open, they immediately proceeded with the search and discovered something horrific. >> I think if you shimmy it in to the right, we could be able to just pull it out. >> He's wearing shirt. >> So push it in to the right. >> Keep pushing it in. Now try to move it out and then push it out. There you go. There we go. Are >> you sure mom's not in there? >> I don't know. I just stayed in my room. Stayed in the living room. >> We're already in. So, we're going to find out. So, >> I understand. So, >> you're going to tell me you didn't know mom was in there? >> No. [Applause] Jennifer. >> At this point, the man knew that he couldn't keep up with the lie any longer. So, he gradually began to let the truth out. Do you swear to affirm that the statement you're about to give is the whole truth but nothing but the truth? Yes sir. >> When we first got here and talked to you said you hadn't seen mom in how long? >> Few days. >> A few days. When is is that the act your actual answer or what's what is the answer you want to swear to the last time you saw mom? >> We were talking around the house here. I mean, you know, I seen her riding a bike and uh she gave me a few cigarettes and stuff and told me to stop back by the house later and I came and stopped back by the house later and we were talking and cleaning up the yard and cleaning up the house and everything and she told me I could stay inside and it was a few days ago. >> But you said that wasn't the truth that you weren't supposed to be staying inside. >> No. >> Yes. That's when we talked to you over there. I said you're not supposed to be here. That's >> so >> no contact order. >> Okay. >> I believe. >> Do you know if it's still active or No. >> No. So, >> okay. >> I imagine it might. I don't know for sure. I figured she told me I should come and stay with her, but I don't know. >> Okay. What is there no contact order between you and mom for? You got into the spe I slapped her. I punched her. >> So battery. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Domestic stuff. >> Yes, sir. >> When's the last time you seen dad? >> This last week, I believe. >> Okay. What did How did your conversation with dad go? The last time you saw him? >> Bad. >> Bad. >> It wasn't bad. >> It wasn't bad. >> How between mom and dad? Did they talk? Um, the only thing I knew is she told at that point in time when she got home, she told me and him both to leave. So, I left and went walking somewhere and stayed away. >> Do you know where dad is at currently? >> No, sir. >> Do you know if dad has a job? >> No, sir. >> And you haven't talked to dad since >> that night? Yes, sir. >> That night? Okay. Well, I guess he got arrested. >> That's what I heard. >> And you lastly, you didn't get arrested. Okay. >> And then you're and mom's relationship has been good as of as of late. >> Yeah. >> Did you notice anything different while you've been staying here? >> Did that not raise any alarm to you? >> She has not heard from her in a couple months. >> Did you go and check? I did kind of look in there. I see. I guess I should let me have a cell phone. >> So, you saw her in the position that she's currently in now? >> Yes. >> So, why did you tell us that mom wasn't there? >> You know better than me. I wasn't the one that did it. though cuz >> I smelt her before you ever even came outside and you were telling me mom's not in there and you know damn well that she was in there. Yes, sir. >> And you're lying to me. >> So why wouldn't you just tell us the truth? We told you from the beginning we weren't there for you. We just wanted to make sure mom and mom was good. >> That's all well prompted you to lie to us. >> Start over. And you um when you went in there and checked on her two days ago, did you know that she was deceased? >> I feel so. >> Okay. But was it apparently obvious to you that >> somebody smelling like that wouldn't be somebody who Okay. >> So why didn't you call law enforcement when you found her in deceased? >> You don't know? >> Okay. Any idea why she is deceased? No sir. >> What could have happened? No sir. >> Okay. >> The man was charged with failing to report to me medical examiner and pleaded guilty. Next we have this man who in a similar fashion got caught with his wife's remains with multiple wounds. >> Oh man. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She >> she gone. >> You got out of the bed and she was laying on the floor. >> Uh-huh. >> Where? So once crime scene gets here, then they're going to they're going to go grab everything that that maybe need to grab. >> On May the 2nd, 2023, 75-year-old Vietnam veteran Charles Bradley called 911 and reported that he woke up from sleep to find his wife laying lifeless in the hallway of their home. When officers got there, the front door was answered by Charles, who broke down the moment he came face to face with them. Sir, >> you come out with your hands up. Keep coming my way. Keep coming. You >> have a weapon on you? >> Got a phone. >> No weapons. Come on out. >> Talking to your people. >> Come on out. Come on out. Wait a minute. One of you talk to >> Here. I'm going to talk to you. My name is Officer Way. Tulsa Police. Will you walk my way? >> Is there anybody else inside the house besides your wife? >> Keep coming. What I'm going to do is I'm going to have you step over here with these officers and I'm going to go over here to your wife. Come on. Let's go right here. A few officers made their way into the house and located the woman's body, while the others who remained outside immediately detained the man and questioned him afterwards. >> Stand back here real quick. You got a wallet or anything on you? >> I don't have anything on the >> Nothing on you. Where is your wallet at inside? ID and everything? >> Uh, it's in >> uh You're familiar with the bedroom, I present? >> Mhm. >> Okay. The bed is here. The dresser is here. The top right drawer is where my wallet is. >> Okay. >> Now, I don't have my teeth in either. My teeth are in the bathroom. And my shoes are in there somewhere. >> We'll get you a pair of shoes and uh some other stuff, but I can't I I can't touch anything cuz right now we're waiting on crime scene to get here. So So once crime scene gets here, then they're going to they're going to go grab everything that that maybe need to grab. Okay. >> Yeah. As of right now, I'm going to have you walk back to this gentleman car back this way. Him? >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah. All right. anything. [Music] >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She she gone. >> She gone. >> Hey sir, I'm officer McKenzie with Tulsa Police. >> What was your name, sir? >> Chuck Bradley. >> Mr. Bradley, I got to read these to you. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say cannot be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to the law and have him present with you while you're being pushed. >> I got to read these to you uh through and through first. Okay. >> Am I being arrested? >> Just just a second, sir. >> Okay. >> If you can afford to hire a lawyer, won't be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish if you decide to make a statement, you may stop at any time. Do you understand the right explain to you, sir? >> Yes, sir. >> Having these rights of mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> I'm sorry. >> You wish to talk to us now, sir, about what happened tonight? I >> I can tell you what I know. Yeah. >> Okay. Give us just a second. Okay. Do >> you remember what all happened tonight? >> I really don't. I Her alarm, her phone alarm was going off >> I was in bed asleep >> about what time. >> Her alarm goes off at 4:30. >> 4:30. Okay. >> So, I got up to tell her that her didn't turn her alarm off. She was not in the bed. So, uh I started into the kitchen figuring that when she is up, she's probably making coffee. >> Say that last part again, sir. >> She was not in the bed. >> She wasn't in bed when So, you woke up when her alarm went off? Yes, sir. >> At 4:30. >> Yeah. >> And she was not in the bed. >> Not in the bed. >> Okay. >> And so, >> I got up to go tell her, you know, turn off her alarm. >> And uh >> what all do you need? >> She was laying in the floor. You got out of the bed and she was laying on the floor. >> Uhhuh. >> Where was she laying at when you found her? >> Uh kind of in the hallway and kind of in the kitchen. She was in the >> Okay. And what what did you see? >> Blood. >> Blood. Okay. Uh anything else that stood stood out to you there? Just from you just you woke up. You did you get up to go to the bathroom or what were you getting up? What were you getting up for? >> I did go to the bathroom. Oh, >> what did you get up to go get up for >> when the alarm went off? >> I had to go pee. Well, when the alarm went off, I got up uh and I had to go pee. So, I went to pee. >> Did you use the bathroom? >> Yeah, >> you did. Okay. >> And uh so I went in in in there to tell her to turn her phone off and she's laying there in the floor. I understand. It's very hard for you, sir. I'm not going to pretend to not not be empathetic about what's what's going on today, sir. I'm very sorry for what what you're going through, but we just we have to do our part and just look at what's going on. Okay. So, if you want to take a break for a second. >> No, no, no. >> Okay. Okay. >> All right. >> There was blood all over the floor. >> Uh-huh. And there was a uh looked like a slug laying there beside her on the floor in the hallway. >> In the hallway. >> And so I had to step over her to go turn her phone off [Music] >> and she was not moving. She wouldn't answer any call that I covered. And so I went in there and turned her phone off. It's apparent that she was there was two, uh, brass casings in the bedroom about, I don't know, maybe 10 ft away from her. >> Okay. All right, sir. >> And so, uh, while I had her phone there after I turned off the alarm, I called you guys. >> Okay. All right. All right. I appreciate you sharing that with us, sir. I'm going to roll the window back up for you. Okay. >> All right. His version of what transpired kept changing. But the minute he uttered that he may have been the one who killed her, officers had to declare him the primary suspect and transported him to the station. [Music] Charles Bradley claims that he didn't know it was his wife when he fired his gun and pleaded not guilty to a first-degree murder charge.
