You saying I punched him in the face? You can't just walk up to me and say all this [ __ ] I have rights cuz my children wereing raped. So what can I charge with him? Stalking me. How about stalking? Here are intense moments when restaurant Karens get humbled by cops. That was me. On July the 31st, 2024, officers received a call from a bar reporting an elderly woman causing a scene and even throwing things at the manager after her family was asked to leave. They rushed over just in time to stop the suspect who was attempting to flee [music] the scene. >> Stop. Stop now. Stop now. >> Guy took my purse, threw us out because our friend moved a chair and he grabbed him by the back of the shirt. >> The purse stop. >> We're leaving. >> Can you step out for me real quick? I got to talk to you. Stop for me. >> I don't have an ID. >> Hey, she's done. >> She's going to jail. >> Do not touch her. >> Get out of the car now. >> I'm not going to jail. Go get me. >> Get out of the car, please. Just open the door. >> You're under arrest at this point in time. Okay. >> You have to tell her why. >> For what? >> You got to tell her why. The battery. So, >> put the car in park right now. Shut it off. >> Okay. Shut it off. >> Can you tell her why? >> I will tell her why, but shut the car off. >> She can go to the car. I'm going to help you out. Okay. Come outside. >> No, I'm not getting out of the car. >> You're going to have a fun time. >> Call Doug. >> Call Doug. >> All right. Come on. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Don't worry, Sushi. Don't worry. >> No, I'm done. >> Put your hands behind your back. Behind your back, please. >> The man grabbed our friend by the dirt. He took my purse. I told I called him a name and wiped out. >> What did I do? >> Face the car. >> What did I do? >> Face the car. >> I got one. >> He took the stuff off. >> When a deputy sheriff gives you a lawful order to get out of the car, you get out of the car. >> I'm sorry. I'm so bad. This guy was so rude. Wait, wait, wait. Stop. >> We're not going to stop. >> No. No. I need to listen. I need to listen. >> Charlie, we're 10 time [music] four. >> I'm not going. >> We have an adult female. 10 time 15. >> I want my He took my purse. Okay. >> And then told us to leave >> because we moved a chair for our child. >> So when he tells you to get out of the car so we can talk to you about what happened >> and try and pull like it's not cool. >> I did. I'm still so mad. I was wrong. >> Unfortunately, a business can kick you out for any reason. >> We left. >> They can kick you out for any reason. >> We left after he he pulled the guy by the shirt. >> My daughter's here, my granddaughter. He There's a party of 11. We moved a chair. >> That's up to the business if they want to ask you to leave. >> And we left. >> So when we show up and tell you to do something, you have to do it. We're investigating. We're being told you threw something at someone, too. >> Something. No, I want my purse. He won't let me go back in and I want my purse. And he said, "We can't go back in. I want my purse." >> Does she have the purse? >> No, it was hanging on the back of my chair. >> They went back in to get it cuz he refused to let me in. >> Somebody grabbed it like one of the employees. Okay, I will make sure it's gone. It's taken full care of. So, >> no one threw anything at him. >> Stay with that for a second. >> Did he say anything about the purse? >> My purse. >> I'm going to go ask about >> He said I could not go back in because whatever. >> The kid initiated it. Like Dave initiated it and then my mom probably was rude and like trying to call him names and stuff. >> So, this this came out as a assault and battery in progress. for the old Karen now in cuffs. They went inside the bar to talk to the manager. What they weren't [music] quite prepared for was what he was about to tell them. >> So, everything happened over here. Uh, basically was in the bar area. >> They're waiting for a table. Um, I asked just the sons, "Hey, are you guys using these chairs? I have a pregnant woman and a guy didn't want to sit at the bar." >> Okay. >> He flipped out on me, started screaming at me. I said, "For there's no reason to come. I'm just asking you." So, I gave the woman my chair instead. Okay. >> And then he decided to go outside and try to fight me. Took her shoes off. So, I just locked the door. Nice. And then she comes over to me and starts screaming at me. I said, "Man, why are you screaming at me?" >> Right. >> And she just sc I'm screaming. So we're walking through here and I get probably right about here. Just takes it chucks it right at me. >> Okay. >> In front of everybody, too. >> Meanwhile, the suspect had an entirely different version of what had happened. [music] >> The plastic thing and I threw it down on the ground. You threw it on the ground? >> Yeah, I did that. That was me. Not Not the boy. He was aggravating. I was trying I was trying to like distract them because I know the boy he grabbed would fought back. >> Okay. >> So, you threw an insert with the specials on the ground. >> Yeah, it was like a plastic thing on the table. I threw it on the ground. I screamed at him. >> Okay. >> Sorry. I shouldn't have resisted. But I'm like, what? Like >> when people start fighting with us, >> let's just stay. >> I shouldn't have resisted. >> You should not listen. We're here. >> I know, but I'm like, "Oh my god." But he's still >> The only reason we're still here, so he told us to leave. The only reason we're still here cuz he wouldn't let me go back in and get my purse. And so two of the guys were going back in to get my purse and then they weren't coming out. And so I'm like like we were worried so we didn't want to leave them. >> Somewhere in the bar, one of the officers was making effort to find the purse belonging to the [music] suspect. He found nothing after the search and when he told her about it, she responded most unexpectedly. >> Excuse me, guys. Is this anyone's purse? >> That's mine. >> This is your purse. Okay. You guys know if you picked up a purse from the people who were >> No, I the one guy came by, but I haven't seen anything at all. >> Excuse me, guys. Is this your purse behind you here? >> Yeah. >> Did you guys see a purse that was left behind? >> Okay. Thank you. >> I'm sorry, sir. We're having issues. >> We're still looking for your purse. Okay. I was told. >> Okay. >> Apologize. >> I apologize. I told her. >> And that's the thing. Obviously, >> I'm in California for it. You grabbed my arm and >> I got I didn't feel well. I >> got you. And at the same time, you have to see where we're coming from. We show up to this. You see me coming, you jump in the car and you started flipping me off and laughing. >> No, I was I was like >> it happened. But regardless, >> and then when we tell you to stop and get out of the car and then you just want to say, "No, I'm not." And then even when the corporate got here and it was just And she was here and she's telling you the car and you're not getting out of the car. >> You know what I mean? >> I know. It's so hard. >> Be submissive. >> I got you. >> They finally had her attention. Or so they thought. Deciding to press their luck, they questioned her again, hoping that this time she would come clean. >> What happened inside? Other than I know that trying to move a chair and >> yeah, we're all se and the girls were all seen at the bar at like the big bar inside and then there we have 11 people. So then the guys were going to sit at the table like in the bar. >> So they moved the chair from the bar bar >> the big I saw the big chairs in this. Yeah. >> To the table >> island thing. You guys were sitting >> to the table bar. >> Okay. And [music] I and then I was and then I don't know like why or what two other people came up and that the guy in the orange shirt comes over and he's saying and then to the guys I don't know what he said or whatever and then the one young guy in our crowd >> he grabbed him by the back of the shirt whatever and then he's mouthing off to him and and so I jumped up because he's a young kid and I knew he would like fight or get >> you were like sticking up. >> So I just thought be mouthing off. >> Okay. So I jumped up, mouthed off or whatever. And then he [music] like told us to leave. So as we're like, you know, leaving, I was like mouththing on to him. >> And then when I came back over and my where the ta the bar where we were sitting >> and my purse wasn't there and I picked up the plastic thing. >> Mhm. >> And I like the it has a specials. >> Yeah. It's got the little it's a little page with the menu and the drinks and stuff. >> I just like threw it across on the table. I'm like you >> they have it. >> They have the first. They did find the purse. Okay. I said somebody from the party they thought grabbed it and came back in. >> Yeah. And then >> and so then >> Yeah. So then when we came out, everybody's like, "Let's leave. Let's leave." Or whatever. The guy was being ridiculous. And I'm like, "I'm not leaving without my purse." Like, >> and um so then when that's when >> he's pulling it up. I was going to grab [music] that and then we'll be good. He's right there. He might have it. >> Okay. So, but your purse? They did. Someone here in the car has the purse. >> Yeah. She was still busy spinning her tail when the manager strolled over with even more evidence. Like he already knew that she would [music] try to rewrite the script. >> It's hard to see. I make sure she was at the main bar for the bar. But so she comes over here. You can see her. I'm right here. I'm asking to leave. She throws it at me. >> I'm sorry. I totally reacted when you been in trouble before. >> Never. [laughter] >> Okay. I'm gonna go talk to them real quick again. >> I was we were teasing earlier today. I have a speeding ticket for going 38 and a 30. [laughter] >> Whoever pulled you over for that didn't >> It was on the military base. >> That explained that. >> I mouth off. I do run my mouth, but I was I was so afraid that Dave was going to get in a fight with the guy and get in trouble. >> And I asked the son cuz they took all the chairs from the bar. I said, "Hey, you guys going to use these chairs or you waiting for a table?" Because there were two guests that walked up and they took the chairs away. So this and this son goes, "Well, we're going to we're waiting for a table." I said, "Okay, that's cool. Thank you. I just these people like a seat." So he got up and started cussing at me. He starts getting mad. Girl, why you cussing at me? I'm going to fit $100. I said, "That's cool. That's not my problem." I was just asking if you could give these people this chair. So I got up and gave him my chair. He's sad. So then he flipped out. Then the son was like, "You I said problem. Get out of here." He said, "I'm not leaving." I said, "You're going to leave right now." So then he keeps going, keeps going. Then he decides to go outside the side, go fight you right now. I said, "Okay, let's go outside." So he runs out the side door. That's why I just lock the side door. She comes over to me and starts screaming in my face in front of the entire restaurant, screaming at me for no reason. Tell me I'm a I'm an >> So then when we were sitting out here waiting like and the guys were going back in looking for my purse or whatever, >> my daughter was just laying on the horn. [laughter] >> Oh yeah. So I heard the 911 call. >> Uhhuh. >> They're just heard >> being obnoxious. >> Yeah. >> And they're laughing on their way out. They're like, "Oh, nothing's going to happen." They're just like you. And I'm like, "Okay, I'm going to call the cop." that. And again, I know we talked about it, pressing charges. >> Yeah, I will. I'm just going to act like that. >> I'm going to go with the obstruction. I was going to do disorderly, but I'm just going to do the battery. And low of a disorderly, I'm not going to hit with three things. >> Um, so if you want to tell her that she's no longer welcome here, um, >> I'll let her know. >> Like you said, the battery and then we've got another charge on her. >> Yeah. And then I'll do I'll pull a separate number for the trespass. >> So, will I get in trouble if I put on the reviews? >> No, that's we're going to speech loud. You can do whatever the hell you want with that. After everything's said and done, I'm going to go ahead and just let you know you're no longer welcome at a restaurant. Okay. >> Oh, don't you worry. And you're not the owner, so quit calling yourself the owner. >> Yeah. Quit your false pretense. >> Sounds good. I appreciate that. >> So, this is a trust. Do you understand that? >> Yeah. Come back here. That's fine. Yeah. Thanks. >> All right. We're going to go over. We're going to take a walk over to my car. Okay. >> Okay. But thank you. >> Yeah. Am I Can you okay if I grab your arm now? >> Yes. If she stays with me, >> she'll Yeah, she can come along with us. We're just going to go right over the corner to my vehicle here. Wait, am I going to jail? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yeah, I already explained it to John. It should be two minutes. Okay. >> Looking in may take an hour or two, but then if you've never been in trouble before speeding ticket. >> Um, well, because of So, one, there is the charge of obstruction, which is for you not listening to our commands. You're out of vehicle. >> I threw him directly in the chest. >> Oh, no. I didn't hear him in the night. So, um, yeah. Do you mind? I'll check. >> Do you have hearts or anything? >> Um, I can't even I don't know. >> No. >> After investigations were concluded, she was charged with battery and resisting without violence. A grandmother did put up a wild Karen display at that bar. But this woman took it up a notch when she boldly claimed [music] to be God after claiming ownership of a bar and refusing to pay for her [music] tab. >> You want to take me to jail? Come on, let's go. >> No. >> Let's go have fun. >> I am who I am. >> Ask for this. >> I own the place. No, you do not. >> I'm PS. >> No, you don't. >> I'm God. >> I don't care. >> I really don't cuz y'all are wrong and I'm right. >> Stop kicking. You're going to bust us out. You're about to get mates. >> On February the 23rd, 2024, officers responded to a bar [music] on a trespassing call. They assumed it would be routine where they show up in uniform and the suspect would just comply. Little did they know they're [music] about to come face to face with a Karen who seems determined to finally learn what it feels like to be in restraint. >> Every time I go buy a car like I need a ride >> and I told nobody don't talk about that person. No, >> she say I own this bar. I ain't got to go nowhere. Well, I own the bar. You know >> I run ass out. I don't want nobody. So she said right by calling police no more. She said in that now she had about all my life >> three four days and then she said she ain't going to pay to call police department over my neighbor. >> That's where we are right now. >> Um >> you know right now people pissed off. >> She saw you >> and she just sitting there right now at the end of the bar. So pay her tab and she needs to go. >> So is that what pay her tab and go? >> Yeah. >> No. And she refused to pay. >> Okay. >> Hi, partner. How are you? >> You going to pay your tab? >> What tab? >> Your tab. >> Yeah. >> All right. Go ahead. You're going to pay your tab or get out. >> It's already paid for cuz I'm the owner. I'm the uh >> You want to take me in jail? Come on. Let's go. >> Let's go have fun. Let's go party. >> If you walk out this door, you are going to jail. >> Okay, let's go. >> Pay your tab. >> I want to go to jail. >> You don't. >> Yes, I do. >> Your tab. >> I'm not going to pay it because they already paid it. >> Your tab's not already. >> Honey, listen to me. >> No, >> I am who I am. >> Pay your tab. >> I don't have no money. >> Pay your tab. >> It's already paid. >> No, it's not. >> Yes, it is. >> It's not. >> I swear to God, it's paid. I promise you it's not. >> I promise you it is. >> Look, I promise you it is paid. >> I promise you it's paid. >> It's not. >> Ask her if it's paid. >> It's paid. >> It's not. Ask her then. >> I own the place. >> No, you do not. >> I'm PS. >> No, you don't. >> I'm gone. I >> No. >> Pay your tab. >> No. I'll tell I told her I'd pay him on Friday. >> No. >> Yes, I did. >> That's not how it works. >> Are you black inside? >> Pay your tab. I'm not picking nothing. >> No, >> not today. Let's go out here and talk. >> Don't hurt me. Don't put bruises on me >> because then you're arrested. You're arresting yourself. >> I'm not going to. >> Yes, you will. >> I want to give you one more chance to pay your >> Not going to. >> All right, let's go. You're >> Let's go. >> You're going to jail. >> Okay, let's go. Let's go. >> All right, you can drop all this. >> No, I don't think so. >> Drop. Drop. Okay, I don't care. I really don't cuz y'all are wrong and I'm right and you'll suffer. >> Yeah, >> you can put her mask >> cuz I'm not black. I'm white and I'm in there doing an investigation. >> Anything in your pockets? >> I don't know. I don't think I have pockets. What's your social >> name? >> Why' you take my title out of my purse? >> CUZ >> WHY DID YOU TAKE MY TITLE OUT OF [screaming] MY PURSE? WHY? >> Answer me, you crookeding piece of >> I'm legal. Should it cause everything going to the house? >> Yes, please. >> They had finally uncovered the reason behind her air of superiority. But just when they thought that they had seen it all, she went ahead and opened a whole new chapter in Karen history. >> How are you? >> Good. How are you? >> Oh, well, >> they're going to me. Oh, well, >> that's just that's more >> a jokester. Dealing with a Karen was exhausting enough, but dealing with an injured [music] Karen, that was a nightmare of its own. And the medics were about to learn that the hard way. >> Hey, what's going on? >> All right. >> I can't look. I can't open my eyes. Can I lay on her back, please? >> Not right now. >> That officer needs to be on your right now. I don't feel it. >> I know because you're warm. Keep your head up. >> Okay. It's hard to feel it. On February the 25th, 2023, Union Township officers received a call from [music] Jimmy Bee's Bar and Grill, reporting a man that had passed out with a foot still on the accelerator, and every attempt to wake him had failed. Officers rushed to the scene and worked to rouse him. When he finally [music] regained consciousness, there was no time to celebrate. They had something far more important [music] to handle first. >> Hey, sir. Hey sir, Hey sir, take your foot off the gas. Why don't you go ahead and step out of the vehicle for me? All right. No, don't don't do that, sir. >> No, not go ahead and step out of the vehicle for me. You got to go back and watch. >> Come over here for me. I'm the reason um the new accusation that came up today and said I wasing her ex-boyfriend and she works at Mars Bar. Um so she was telling people out there today and so I we have not spoken since she got fired. Um but she literally just show up here behind the bar, grabbed my hair. That's when they got up and were like what's going on? Tried to get us apart. >> Her dog is trying to bite me. Yeah. >> Did she throw my keys at you? >> No, I grabbed them. I to make sure she >> Okay. Can I have my keys so I can get them? >> Sorry. So, she came back here. >> She came on. I backed all the way up to the edge. >> Did she say anything? She's like >> like I'm going to you like >> she said that >> she said I'm going to hurt you. >> I don't know if she said I'm going to She said I'm going to hurt you. I know where you live. D whatever. >> Um >> come back. They tried to separate us. Her dog is in between us. He's trying to bite. >> Probably just because he doesn't know what's going on. He sees mom upset. >> Sure. But he did not bite you. >> I don't believe so. Okay. >> Um mostly it's just the hair pulling. >> Did she hit you? Uh it I think she threw one punch, but it was mostly just her like holding on to my hair. >> Okay. >> Um >> Okay. >> But that's it. >> And then um >> and then what happened with all the glass and stuff? >> Then they got us apart. She fell on the ground here around this. That's why this is all disheveled. >> Okay. >> And then she comes over here, goes, pulls the chair back, goes down, whatever. He's still passing at me. I'm just like, just get out. Just leave. Just get out. Fine, I don't care. Just leave. And then she comes over and grabs her glasses and starts. >> How many glasses do you think that she threw? >> He kept pressing for details, determined to make sure the suspect paid in full for every single bit of damage. um at least >> two and then two >> so she couldn't throw anything. >> So two pint glasses and then what? What else? >> There are two glasses on the floor. >> Okay, >> this is >> okay. >> I'm so sorry. >> I'm sorry. Oh, >> do you desire prosecution for assault? [laughter] >> What? >> For assault for her putting her hands on you, pulling your hair? >> She assault you. or >> just making anyone's life any harder, but like >> um and then are you able to con is there like a manager or owner that can speak on the behalf of the bar so I can figure out the criminal damaging part of it with the glassware and then the trespass part of it. Are you able to contact him right now at all? >> Uh I can try to call him if he doesn't answer. I will try to call like the bar manager. >> Yes. >> Um to see if it's okay to give his number. >> Okay. I'm gonna go grab my uh work cell phone real quick. I'll be right back. Okay. >> Outside the bar, the suspect was still being questioned, but instead of coming clean with what had happened, she decided to beat around the bush. >> All right. So, so in your words, what happened? >> Uh I came in and >> No, I didn't even come in. And I walked by and no it dumb. It's like it's nothing that should have been police involved. Like she just said >> it was another employee though. >> Like she just said something gross. >> So you were walking by and she said something to you. >> Yeah. So, we need somewhere to take him and we don't want to take him to the counter. Is there anyone Is there anyone who can come pick up your dog who you trust with your dog? Any friends? >> I did not touch her. >> You went behind the bar and you threw glasses at him. >> That's assault. >> Did she say that? >> Well, they're talking to her, but if there's damage, I can already tell when I pulled up, I could tell that there was damage. >> Oh, no. That's just because she doesn't know how to >> Well, I'm sure they have cameras in there, too. But it's looking like that's the way this is going to go. So, if it does go that way, is there do you have any friends close by or anyone? >> No. >> No one. No one could take your dog. >> First of all, I didn't do that. Second of all, >> well, you just said yourself that you don't remember what happened. You just saw red. >> No. No. I saw her. >> Yes. >> First one. >> So, there's no one nearby that could come pick up your dog. >> No friends. Okay. >> Nope. So, if it comes to that, if it comes to that, we'll have to just take your dog to our to our kennel. And then once you're out, then you can just come pick them up. >> I'm not going to be out. What? What? What the am I? >> Well, we have to figure out what they're talking and looking at in cameras and stuff like that. So, >> we'll cross that bridge if and when you come to it. >> Luckily, your dog is nice and friendly. You don't have to answer that >> cuz you're already under arrest for assault. >> Disorderly conduct intoxicated. And then we'll see about trespassing. And >> I didn't even walk into the bar. >> Oh, that's okay. >> I didn't even come into the bar. >> That's crazy.
