I'll be right out. This thing can help you right here. If you're not a police officer, you can help you right there. Be on your way. After they got him in cuffs, things changed remarkably fast. Some bullies only seem to understand confrontation, but the officers stayed on their toes, knowing he could be cooking up another stunt. Time is up. Something. Somebody grab his shoes. Somebody grab his shoes. Hey, yeah, copy. I'm going to be down at the gate. Yes, sir, sergeant. All right, I'm right by the tram. I'm at the tram door. I'm by the tram door. What did you tell her? In the end, the suspect didn't bail out of jail and eventually pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was sentenced to a fine and received credit for the 20 days he had already served in jail before the trial. The last troublemaker was awful, but he was nothing compared to the next case, a proudly unhinged Walmart customer who taunted her way into cuffs after trying to return items without a receipt. Are you actually deaf? Don't touch me. Take me out. What is it? >> Take me out. I love jail. I go all the time. Hey, what are you doing? I'm going to stand up and walk. I love problems. >> Ma'am, can you sign this? I love jail. On October the 27th, 2024, [music] deputies with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office were called to a local Walmart for a disruptive customer. She'd been denied a return because she couldn't show proof of purchase. Still, [music] instead of politely leaving the business premises, she decided the employees needed a lesson and went about it in the most ridiculous way possible. Well, she called you deaf and left. Well, you guys called first, didn't you? Yeah. I think the store guys called. She had a receipt. No, she didn't. Okay. No receipt, no purchase. Uh-huh. Hi. What do you want me to do? I don't know. Just like the way she's acting right now, that's how she is. She's trying to I I tried to help her. Well, if you weren't listening to Kevin Gates, you could probably hear us better. Did you talk to her at all? Did you like Did she talk to you at all? What did she say? Come on. Can you understand me? I don't know. You want to walk to the front with me? We can I can't hear you. I am deaf. This all ready done before I got here. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, she talks. Yeah. You guys want her trespassed? Yeah, dude. All right. Okay, good. What What are you doing? This is comical. I'm not leaving. No. What? I'm not leaving. Uh You're deaf. I don't know. >> what I'm saying? No. I said, "Sit." Here, ma'am. Here you go. Here, ma'am. Take your item and leave. Yep. Yeah. I paid for it. So take your proof. >> Take me out of here. Why? You want to take me out of here or what? >> No, I don't want to. You want her trespassed? Leave. Can you just tell her in our presence that she's trespassed? You're actually I paid for this item earlier today and I'm not leaving until I get a replacement. >> on her phone? All right, then take me out. >> have a receipt? Let's go. Take me out. Don't touch me. Take me out. What is it? Take me out. >> to go to jail? Take me out. Take me out, officer, deputy, sheriff. Take me out. If you don't leave, you're going to If you just leave, if you don't leave, you're going to go to jail. And we're going to The dog's going to go to the ACC. >> Excuse me? If you don't leave, >> My dog's on a leash. Yeah, but your dog When you go to jail, your dog's going to go to the ACC. >> Let's go to jail, please. I love it. Are you refusing to leave? Ma'am, here. Oh my god. Do you have Do you have your name and date of birth or LP wants to do it? >> I love jail. I go all the time. While she was busy clowning around, she had suddenly proven to the officers that she wasn't deaf, a small detail that really mattered because now every move counted [music] and any act of disobedience could cost her, even though her dumb mind still believed that she was really calling [music] the shots. Can you tell her that if she she doesn't leave, she she she can't trespass? >> your reek. She needs to leave and if not, I'll take her to jail. Chris, I don't know. All right, so you are not allowed back here for 1 year. After If you do come back here for 1 year, we'll see you in here. We're going to call them. They're going to come get you. All right, ma'am. So you're officially trespassed. You're trespassed as I'm trespassed? Yeah. You work here? Yep. You don't look like you work here. I don't know. Well, I'm trespassed. Let's go. You're fine. Why are you not letting me out of the car? >> to leave. I'm wanting to go in cuffs. Thank you. This is what y'all wanted. It's what you wanted. Yeah. I need you to come out. I love jail. >> wanted the cuffs off. And where's my item that I paid for? You want to go in the dog? My attorney's going to love this. >> Ma'am, you had ample opportunity to leave, literally. Uh can you just get his 14? I'll I'll write that. It's my pleasure to take this case. No, seriously. That's Chris Charles. Don't I really want to take this case. Yeah, we'll take it with her first stuff. That's my [ __ ] That's my [ __ ] Okay. There it is. Congratulations. You are the proud owner of this All right, let's go. You what? I need to slow down. Is it a Dalmatian? Sorry to break in on your conversation. You said black and white 10-15? Yeah, it's 10-4 and I'm 10-12 with her signal 70. Dalmatian. Yeah, I just wanted their their number on 45. Did you get my black item? The phone thing? Okay, great. My attorney is going to love this. Well, we asked you to leave like a million times. Just slow down. Slow down. What's your hurry? I'm not in a hurry. You're right. It looks better if I slow down. Yeah. It does. You're on my time, bro. Hey, what are you doing? I'm going to stand up and walk, man. Can you walk? What are you doing? Hold both arms. She wants to She said she wants to change her mind. I love problems. I love chaos. Those are her key selling problems, always. So much problems, always. Stand up. Come on. Stand up and walk. You're hurting me. >> Yeah, well, that's a tough. Ma'am, stand up and walk. Jess, you want to take the dog? I'll pick her up. Here, Eric. I'll pick her up. Ma'am, you need to stand up. Ready? Love it. Do you have any property on you? Have a seat. In the end, she was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest without violence, and battery on an LEO. And battery on an LEO. The last lady got her craving and more, just like trash-talking Christina, a loudmouth Karen who went ballistic on the officers for refusing to let her drive while drunk. All right. So, here's the deal. Is there someone that can come pick you up? >> I don't know if it's a black and white factor here because you guys play that part, not that How do you Can you stop? >> No, but why are you in my face like that? Give your son the address where you're at. >> Oh, he's going to come. Listen, loosen loosen this. No, loosen this. It's hurting me. Listen, I'm not taking you. On February the 24th, 2024, during an evening patrol in Palm Beach, Florida, [music] a deputy spotted a driver, later identified as Christina, speeding over 100 miles an hour and swerving erratically. He pulled her over, not knowing that he had just stepped straight into a cuckoo's nest. Hi. How you doing? I am so sorry. Like I'm just trying to go back to my hotel, and I know I was speeding. I'm so sorry. >> You got your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance? Um I was at an Airbnb where my son is at. He plays football, so I'm here. Uh-huh. So, we're here for his 7-on-7 football team. Okay. And I came from where they were staying, and I'm going back to my place. Okay. You have your driver's license, registration, insurance? >> but I think it's in the back. I hope I didn't leave it at the house. Can I get out and look or You don't know where it is? I thought it was here, but it is not. Oh, here it is. I'm sorry, here it is. It fell on the floor. Well, how much have you had to drink tonight? I did have a glass of wine. I'm not going to lie. A glass of wine? I did, yes. And how long ago was that? An hour ago. I'm sorry? Please don't like Well, I mean, you're going well over 100 mile an hour. You didn't even realize you passed me, and you're swerving all over the road. So, I mean, it's kind of a problem right now. No, I know. It was more that I was looking at the GPS trying to figure out where I was going. Now, I'll be right back with you. Okay. All right, Christina, please step out for me. All right, we're going to go right up here. Oh my god. Okay. Just step up there for me. Turn to face me. >> Right here. Step right there. All right, turn to face me. All right. What I'm going to ask you to do is to perform some field sobriety exercises, okay? Okay. I want to make sure that you're safe to drive. That's fine. Okay. Yeah. So, what I need you to do is put your feet together. Arms down to your side. All right. I don't want you move your head. Move it Move it Move it All right. That's what I was going to ask you. Turn around, face this way. All right. This is what I need to be in your face, so all I want you to do is follow the tip of your pen. Arms down, feet together. Just follow the tip of the pen with your eyes only, okay? >> Yeah. All right. Give me 1 second. Can you stand by with her for a sec? All right, here's what I want you to do. I'll take your left foot. Put your left foot in the middle of that white line. In the middle of it. There you go. You're going to put your right foot in front of your left foot, heel to toe. I can't do this normally, but okay. Arms down to your side. All right, what you're going to do is you're going to stand straight up and look straight ahead for me. I can't I literally can't do this normally. You can't walk in a straight line? >> I No, I can't. >> Don't start till I tell you. I'm going to explain and demonstrate everything for you. Okay. Okay? [clears throat] So, go ahead and put your left foot back behind your behind your right. There you go. Arms down to your side. All right, look at me. I'm going to explain and demonstrate the task for you. So, you're going to start out from that position. Okay? You're going to take nine heel-to-toe steps down that line. Don't start till I tell you. Okay. All right, same thing. I'm I'm going to show you. Don't do anything till I till I tell you, okay? That's fine. So, from that position, you Huh? Go ahead. What are you asking? No, like I can't do that naturally, but I'll do it. Go ahead. Okay, so you don't you don't walk in a straight line every day. You don't No? No. I'm clumsy. You're clumsy? Yep. All right. Go ahead, keep your arms down to your side. You understand the task? I got it. All right, give me 1 sec. All right, go ahead. You can begin the task if you understand it or you don't have any questions. >> No, I got it. 1 2 3 8 9 Okay. Her performance wasn't convincing enough for the officer, so he decided to give her another shot. But in her dumb mind, she mistook that bit of leniency for weakness and took every chance she got to [music] show her true colors. All right, the next task we're going to do is you're going to put your fingers out to the side like this. I feel like I need to get my phone at this point because like honestly, they just Listen, it's being video recorded. I'm recording you, she's recording you, and there's another camera right there. >> Perfect. Perfect cuz it it should be. What's the highest grade you completed? I I have a bachelor's degree. Okay, perfect. You know your alphabet from A to Z? Like you're so insulting me right now. >> to ask you. You're so insulting. It's part of the instructions. I have to ask you. >> Yes, I do. Everything that we're doing here is part of the standardized instructions that we ask everybody when we're doing DUI investigations, okay? >> That's fine. It's fine. I got it. It's nothing personal against you. That's just the way it's written. It's okay. It's fine. But yes, I do. Okay. What you're going to do is you're going to put your arms down to your side. You're going to tilt your head back. You're going to close your eyes, and you're just going to recite the alphabet from A to Z without singing and without rushing, okay? You understand the task? >> I got it. All right, go ahead, tilt your head back, close your eyes. A B C W X Y Z Okay. And I'm sorry, I'm freezing. Step up here, have a seat for me. Have a seat where? >> Right on the front of that car. All right. So, here's the deal. Is there someone that can come pick you up? You have someone that can pick you up? My son can. Your son can pick you up? He hasn't been drinking tonight? No, my gosh, no. Okay. All right, here's the deal. Okay? Even though you argued with me all the way down here >> I didn't argue with you. You told me I you were being But I didn't argue >> investigated for DUI because you're white. I I said that, but I didn't argue with you. I mean, that's kind of But I didn't argue with you, but I did say that. So, even though all that happened, okay? I don't think you're impaired to the point that I should arrest you, but you are impaired enough that I'm not going to let you drive away from here. So, if you want to call your son and have him come pick your car up, pick you up, I will allow that to happen. What I will say is once you get to your hotel, okay? And he leaves you there, don't take your car out again. Hello. Hey, um where about are you? I'm Okay, so listen, I got pulled over. Um and they're not going to let me drive. So, if you can like come where I'm at I know it's so crazy. Like it's so ridiculous. So, let me hold I'll text you the address. Hold on 1 second. So, what is it? I I and I'm so sorry. I know it's so weird for us to like meet like this. It's just so bizarre. That's okay. Just come and like we'll figure it out after. Okay. All right. The officer stuck to his main objective which was de-escalation by any means possible. >> [music] >> But the drunk Karen didn't seem to grasp that she was a danger to herself and everyone else on the road in that impaired state. Just turn the car off. Like I was telling her, I mean you got indicators of impairment but not enough for me to arrest you and take you to gun club, okay? So I'm going to I'm going to let you slide tonight. You're going to go home. You're not letting me slide like You are. You're not getting arrested and you're not getting a ticket. >> Because there's like you just said there's not enough for you to do that. There's enough for me to tell you not to drive your vehicle. >> Right and I'm not going to drive it. That's why I called my son. >> That's why I said we're letting you slide. We're not taking your car. >> letting me slide. >> arresting you. Because you don't have enough. That's what you're saying. Like it doesn't make sense. >> Ma'am, why are you still arguing with me? I'm just telling you what I'm giving you a break. >> I'm not arguing with you. I'm not arguing with you. You just said I'm letting her know that there's not enough enough for me to let you slide. To take you to jail. Yes. There's enough to detain you and do the roadside Anyway, you just said there was not enough. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, which is why that's why you're not in handcuffs. Right. Okay. That's all I'm saying. So you're not letting me slide. It's just that you don't have enough. That's all. I mean >> Just understand that >> know if it's a black and white factor here cuz you guys play that part not in that front of me. But you guys play that part. You don't you don't even know who was pulling you over. It could have been anybody. So how do you play that part? >> that you did but now that you did now that you did I know. That's so disrespectful on so many levels. You don't know I'm black. >> for you to say that to him. >> No, it is. >> to say that to me. You don't know my background. You don't know his background. >> all, I wasn't talking to you. I don't care. You're talking to my partner. Let's get that first fact. Second of all, when he says you slide he should have wrote you a bunch of tickets. Yeah, don't go out in the road. Y'all sit down in the car. Don't disrespect me. Because you think you can do that to me. Nope, absolutely not. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. All right, just have a seat in your car until your ride get here. >> No, but you're going to keep talking, right? All right, just have a seat. Have a seat on the passenger side. >> disrespect me. I did not disrespect I did not disrespect you. Don't disrespect me. Ma'am >> Do not Christina Have a seat on the passenger side. Out of the road. Come on this or come on this side. Out of the road. Your car is far over the way for me. >> Yes, keeping people from running us over. Come on over here. Come over here out of the roadway, Christina. We're not going to argue. >> Nope, nope. I'm going to record all of it. You can record but we're not going to argue on this side of the road. >> disrespect you for a second. I did not. Okay. And she wants to throw me in the van. No matter I'm going to record >> Everything here is recorded. The whole interaction has been recorded, okay? >> fine. Yep, that's fine. George Floyd, yep. I did not disrespect you. Don't Don't you dare disrespect me. No, I did not. No arguing. No, I did Oh, now you want to be quiet, right? Yep. Uh-huh.
