these are the videos that Kent put out yeah that was not [Music] safe well hi there I did that feel unsafe yes it did and I cuz it looked unsafe I I'm screwed up you had some poor time management earlier today and that has led you to fail to stop at that red light make it in proper position for uh right turn cuz you turned into the middle Lane and you turn directly into that red SUV I feel like you need a ticket for this because I think that going to driving school would be beneficial for you and I think it would be a good reminder a refresher for you you are exactly correct I have a soft spot for Old Men um I I give old men a lot of breaks I think that they've they come from a generation where they have done this world a ton of service and they deserve to be recognized for that that being said this guy yep he's 80 years old um he committed multiple violations moving violations so violations that have the possibility of causing a collision um and although normally I don't give tickets I felt the need that he needed to go to driving school and have a refresher on rules of the road so he got a citation um he could take care of it by going to Driving School it will probably ultimately make him a better driver down down the road so that's why I I elected to do that when normally I know I got a soft spot I drove ambulance for years you did years ago and I went to defensive and here I am 80 years old and I know better I think just one I lets you go to driving school you can keep it off your record make sure that your record stays clean but it'll give you a little reminder on on just being a better driver does that seem fair absolutely I try to be as Fair as I can are there any questions I can answer for you while I stand here right here at your door to us and and you know asking for pictures and so he he puts more of it on video than Sam did um Sam has taken literally hundreds of pictures um for people of them with me uh but Sam just again style difference Sam didn't think it was as uh as epic of a a topic as Kent does um so Kent really really exemplifies um his belief that that's something that's very unique and special about it and I I really like it I uh I describe it as humbling um and that is absolutely true I I love the fact that people will stop their day um to come up and take a picture with me and unless I'm in the middle of something and I have my hands on a suspect or I'm I'm in the middle of an investigation I 100% of the time if I can I take a picture with someone thank you guys I sure appreciate it always like having the support of people around here so thanks for coming out and saying hi hi we'll go say hi the people over a Pizza Hut it's not really on my my diet yeah Mexican food isn't my diet and uh it's not any better for me but it's better than Pizza Hut I am not joking when I say the half my job is slinging tickets the other half is taking selfies I I did it absolutely true my mom was calling me I have no idea why you st okay what was it well you were at 64 mph so you're 19 mph above the speed right when you pass the 40 mph sign passenger I feel like you need to be wearing your seat belt oh yeah the front's a phone number for the court you can give them a call all right listen I appreciate you being cool wearing your seat belts slow down just a little bit okay thanks yeah man absolutely I watch your thing all the time yeah I appreciate that thank you no man it's my pleasure thank you very much listen man make sure you drive safe okay oh thank you so much now man cops and firefighters hanging out I love it like cats and dogs living together less than two hours and we've taken three or four you know selfies with people and that doesn't happen in anywhere else but in panal county and and kind of specifically with me humbling doesn't even suffice as a as a description of of how I feel about that true people are like man it's so cool to be pulled over by you um so it's pretty cool nice fuzzy steering wheel just oh it's registration inspired that's a good reason to talk to that guy I'm telling you he's not wearing a seat Bel one of the things that I love about cars with no tint is it allows me to to look through the windows and see if people are using their seat belt before I stop them um I I know there's people out there on the internet that have probably been stopped and snuck that seat Bel on before the officer got up to the window and the officer didn't catch him it it's a game that citizens and cops play and I totally get it um but but when I see someone not wearing it prior to the stop and then I get up to their window and then they're wearing it then we have a very different conversation how old are you 18 18 how old do you have to be to vape uh 21 so why you vaping uh I got it from a vape shop I don't know that is not the answer to the question I asked I also noticed that you weren't wearing your seat belt I was just going to get the I was going to renewed yeah it's your registration is expired that's actually the reason I stopped you who's um that's one of my friends oh was he in the car last time he got pulled over um cuz whoever the last police officer was that stopped you wrote his name on your registration so see it right there right that's state of birth so right last time you got pulled over what' you get pulled over for um I don't even remember was like he said I was raing sure that's a thing I don't know what agency stopped him but he was uh he was definitely contacted before by law enforcement these trucks been contacted by us before there I am reaching uh reaching over RI my ticket your registrations expired um expired on 215 to 24 so it's a month a little bit more than a half month ago I'm not going to write you a ticket for it but it was the original reason for my stop you're also not wearing your seat belt obviously um you also don't have current proof insurance right I'm getting it right now well it is too late for that because the citation already been issued so all you have to do it's not going to cost you any money no points or anything all you're going to do is show that to the court the Court's going to throw it out lap and shoulder belt required you got to wear your seat belt um I noticed it when you were driving can't be doing that information inside the pamplet I'll take tell you how to take care of both of those we give that to you there make sure you wear your seat belt while you're driving around and just so you know as soon as you're out of here you're again in violation of that no registration law I am well within my right to write you a ticket I'm just using my discretion not to but it's um any questions about anything no sir I appreciate you being cool man thanks
