Good evening. Hi. I stopped you for a couple of reasons, okay? So, you were all over the road. At one point, you were straddling the lanes, and you you switched lanes without signaling. And then, whenever you made it over here to the 30 mph zone, you were still going over 50 mph, okay? >> That was a good read. >> your driver's license and proof of insurance? I don't believe that I have it. All right. Okay, well, I smell alcohol coming from the car. How much did you have to drink? Okay. Okay. >> or you want to step out of the car so we can run some tests, or >> going to step out of the car whatsoever. Okay. Well, right now, I do believe you are under the influence. So, I've done a DUI or two in my career. One of the big things that we like to look for is eye contact. When you talk to someone, you're looking at them. This suspect officer goes up to the driver's side window, and it doesn't look like she ever makes eye contact with him. Um in police work, we call that a clue. It's in the clue handbook. So, immediately, this officer picks up on it um cuz he says, "Hey, I believe you're impaired. I can smell the odor of alcohol." Um so, he is right. He's straight into a DUI investigation, and I love that. Um I don't like beating around the bush. I want to get someone out of a car. I don't know what's in there um especially on something like this like, "Hey, get out." And as soon as she says no, it's game on.
