So, we found this video at BCAM Police. They're not a site that we've ever used before, but this video looks good. Sam picked it out. We're hoping for a winner. Also hoping for a winner with Body Cam Bingo. [cheering] Uh, we've got some classics on here. [screaming] We got Bro, as a as a new one. So, we're going to see if if we could check that box today. See how it goes. >> Can I help you? >> Yes. You just did a U-turn there and almost caused an accident. >> Go ahead and hop back. Go ahead and hop back in the vehicle. >> No. hop back in the vehicle. >> Exactly like the sergeant that conducted this traffic stop. I don't like when people immediately jump out of their car as soon as I stop them. Um it's just I I like I like it to be on my terms. Um being outside of a car isn't safe. So if I ask someone to get out, typically I ask them to get out and we're getting away from the road. Um I mean obviously here it's in a parking lot, so it's different, but I just I don't like it. I don't like that initial like onset of aggressive behavior towards me. Um, especially when I like trying to keep things mellow and cool and cordial and you immediately have someone coming at you, it just starts everything off on a bad foot. >> Hop back in the vehicle. I'm not going to ask you again. >> Hop back in the vehicle. >> Get back in the car. >> I'm not talking to you until you get back in the car and get your hands out of your pockets. >> Hands on. >> Hop back in the vehicle. >> Hop back in the vehicle. >> I didn't do anything. >> I didn't do it. You almost caused an accident. >> I did not. >> You did. You didn't hear everybody laying their horn at you. >> I did not do a back in the car. >> Go ahead and believe the cop on this one. >> In the car. >> I did not do a U-turn. >> Hop back in the car. >> Like a bunny. >> Hop back in the car. >> Look, man. >> Hop in the car. >> What's your problem? >> You want to get out and you want to act crazy. Get back in the car. That's not how this works. >> Hop in the car. >> Hop in the car. Give me your license >> and your insurance. I want to have a conversation with you. >> We're having a conversation. >> So, there's a a common saying that I use, which is we don't hold court on the side of the road. Um, apparently, you can't do you can't conduct U-turns in this town in Ohio. Um, this guy makes a U-turn. He's adamant that he doesn't that he didn't. The sergeant said he did. I'm pretty sure the sergeant probably knows what's going on. So, sergeant probably watched this guy make a U-turn, almost cause a collision. This guy doesn't want to take any sort of accountability for anything. doesn't want to own up to anything. And now they're having this Yes, you did. No, you didn't. On the side there between the two cars. Just an absolute no-go for me. >> No. >> Go ahead. Step. >> No. Don't touch me. >> Give me Give me another one. >> I need an >> Get over here. I'm the sergeant. Get over here. >> Get over here. I don't You're making this harder than it has to be. >> Get over here. >> I'm asking. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. Turn around. Turn. You're about to down. Turn around. >> Don't you dare. You're making this way harder than it has to be. >> Look, man. >> Hop over here. that walk to my >> What is this guy saying? Hop. >> What's your problem? >> No. You get back. Get back in the car yet. >> Get back in the car, dude. >> Now there's two of them. >> Immediately as soon as this conversation argument is happening now, wife who is probably used to trying to corral her husband gets out and tries to be the mediator here. That's not how that's not how law enforcement works. We're not sitting there on the side of the road holding court going back and forth having an argument and then wife comes over like that's it. It it is that law enforcement officer's job. It's his scene. And I like that he was immediately like, "Hey, get back and sit in the car." Like I'll deal with you later, but now is not the time for you to come out and inject yourself. And now he has to keep his eye on two different people. Absolutely not. >> Come back here. You're making this >> problem. I'm not going to tell you guys. >> I'm not going to tell you again. again. >> I'm not going to tell you again. >> Get in the car, please. >> I tried to get in. >> Now you're Now you're just you're you're acting disorderly now. You're walking a fine line. >> You're walking a fine line. >> You're walking a fine line. >> Okay, we'll see about that. >> I will. I will. Come on. >> License and insurance. >> Go ahead and hop back in the car. It's okay. >> Where's your supervisor? >> He's right here. You're talking to him. >> No, I'm going to take that one as call for your supervisor. I'm going to call that the same thing. >> License and insurance. >> Excuse me one second, please. >> License and insurance. How many times do I have to ask you? >> Can I help you? >> You start at the same as me. >> Registration. >> No. >> Okay, step out of the car then. >> Ask you a question. >> Step out of the car. Then you almost caused an accident. >> I did not. >> You literally pulled in over there and then you cut across into here. A car almost t-boned you. >> Anywhere. >> License and insurance or step out of the car >> down the road. I saw some spots. >> License and insurance or step out of the car. >> I did not do >> Seems pretty simple. >> License and insurance or step out of the car. >> I did not do a >> Okay. What did you do to almost cause a pile up there? >> I did not cause anything. >> Okay. You didn't hear 15 cars lay on their horn. >> 15 now. Huh? >> Everybody hit their horns behind you cuz you almost >> 15. >> All right. >> There was one car behind you. >> Step out. >> Don't step out. Don't get your hand out of here. Get your hand OUT OF MY CAR. >> WE'RE We're done now. Damn hunk of junk. Is >> that who you're saying he's talking to? >> Get out. You're >> Do it. Do it. Do it. >> Do it, man. >> Go ahead. Unlock that. >> Do it. >> No. No. Get the [ __ ] off of me right now. >> Oh my goodness. Look at this. >> Get the hand off me or you're going to I'm going to break your goddamn hand. >> Get back in the car. Hop in the vehicle. >> Do anything. >> I cannot do anything and you cannot GET INTO MY CAR. >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. >> PERMISSION. >> You're under arrest. I don't give you permission to get into my car. >> GET OUT OF MY CAR. >> I DON'T I DON'T >> HERE IT COMES. >> And out you come, >> [ __ ] >> Yeah. You know what? >> How is that all worth it? >> What's the problem? Why didn't you just get out of your car when you were told? >> No, he got out. Was causing issues. >> No, I asked you a question. >> No, I got it. >> I hit my camera. >> H. >> Yeah. Yeah. Come on. Do it. Come on, man. >> What a terrible human. >> What are you doing? >> Stop resisting. Stop. Move your hands over. What are you doing? >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not. I put my hands together so you had them, dude. >> No, you're >> I'm going to do I'm not for I'm not resisting. >> You're unbelievable. >> Back my car. >> You're freaking unbelievable. Oh, and now he's going to go to jail. All for that. >> Well, cuz he he just kept driving around. >> Okay, >> stop pushing me. >> Oh, Ohio. >> I'm going to grab You got grass. >> Can you find my glasses? See, Miss Fine. >> Um, look at me for a second. He got pickles. Do you care if I grab them off your face? >> You know what? You guys don't give a [ __ ] about anything. >> Leave him be. >> Oh. >> Yeah, he can hear us. >> Is that your husband? >> What was his problem? >> What? What? And I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. We'll step over here and talk. >> I'll let you talk to him in a minute. Let him cool off. >> Honestly, we're trying to find a spot. I swear. >> Okay. >> When I go to eat. That's why he turned around like this. >> Okay. >> Now, when he gets hungry, he gets low sugar. >> Oh. turns into Betty White. >> Do you think he needs >> a Snickers? >> He needs a Snickers to eat. >> It's pretty common in law enforcement to miss your lunch, right? Call for service comes in, a collision happens, you get a late arrest in the morning, you miss your lunch. It doesn't give you the excuse to turn into this guy. Like this dude needs a Snickers, needs a Coke and a smile, needs to sit down and relax. But all of this because he's hungry is the craziest, most absolute illegitimate excuse that I've heard in a long time as to why someone behaved in the manner that they did. >> That's why he's the way he is. >> Well, if if he would have just talked to me instead of getting out and approaching me like that, that's a problem. >> I was trying I guess why I was trying to talk to you when I got out. >> Okay. Well, I was too focused on him and his his hostile behavior and his demeanor. >> He doesn't have anything. I mean, honestly, >> do you need out or something? >> No, actually. >> So, I I I'm in charge over here. >> Okay. >> Today. And my boss is gone. So, I'm the boss and we own over here. So, I was just coming over to see Okay. What was going on? >> Yeah, we're we're all good. >> So, I'm just over here being nosy. Just uh wanted to see what was going on. All right. So Dudley Dw rightight here just comes waddling over telling his story about his boss or his boss took off and he's the boss and like no one cares. You're not involved in this at all. You're not a witness to anything. You're literally coming and injecting yourself into the scene because you're nosy. Like general citizenry out there in the land of the internet. Don't do that. Just mind your own business. Whatever happened there is of absolutely no consequence to you. It doesn't it it no matter what happened, whether they just found a T-Rex jawbone there in the parking lot or a guy won a million dollars or they figured out who killed someone crazy. No, the answer is no. Just mind your own business. Ah, guy's annoying. >> Does he have the insurance for the vehicle? >> We do have insurance. >> Okay. Can we solve it peacefully? >> No, not after that. >> Absolutely not. >> Honestly, he just needs to eat. >> If he would have been a grown-up about it, you guys would have been on your way already. >> Do I understand? >> Her entire reason is he was hangry. >> His insurance. >> So, U-turns in the city of a million are illegal, but >> turning to find a spot. >> A U-turn. Yes. And almost causing an accident. But the way he he handled this is why he's going to jail. Not for the U-turn. We don't care about the U-turn. >> That's a minor infraction, you know, compared to this. I wasn't obviously I wasn't present for the the stop, but obviously the officer had a lawful reason to stop him. He refused to get out of the vehicle when he was asked to do so. I mean, >> good articulation. I'm not >> after he calms down, maybe he'll maybe he will let you have a conversation. Sergeant Chandler might let you have a conversation with him. I'm not sure. >> That's not up to us. He's He's in charge on the shift and he's in charge of the current stop, current situation. >> Nothing I can >> No. >> Even if there was something you could do, I wouldn't I wouldn't accept it. >> That he deserved to go to jail. >> Absolutely. >> 100%. >> There's no way. Unfortunately, I mean, there's repercussions for your choices and that was that was how he chose to handle this today and it was very unfortunate and I'm sorry that you have to be a part of it and bear other witnesses, but >> nothing everything from this point will be taken care of at the jail. So, if he gets a bond or whatever, I don't know. >> Man, you need an ambulance or anything? Do you need an ambulance or anything? >> What What's your problem? >> I'm just checking. Do you need an ambulance or anything? >> What law did I break and who did I hurt? So, I'm going to read you your rights. Okay. >> I like that officer. Actually, might be the sergeant. Pulls out his Miranda card, reads the guy Miranda. Yeah, he's probably going to have a conversation as to about the guy's actions, which were criminal. So reading his rights before asking him questions about the crime to which he believed committed and he's in custody. Absolutely good. Great time to do it. Um guy had had calmed down a little bit. So he was probably more uh more apt to understand those rights. So I'm good with it. >> Do you understand your rights? >> Has your camera been on the whole time? >> The whole time? >> Yeah. >> The entire It's still on. >> I want to see. >> Your attorney can get it. You have any you have any questions or anything right now? >> You're unreal. >> I did not give you permission to do anything. >> You don't need >> We don't need your permission to arrest you. >> Not what DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOD? >> OKAY. SO, he's going to be going to jail. >> He needs to go to jail. >> Phone number. >> Nothing I can do. Nothing. >> No. >> Yeah. There's nothing we can do at this point. >> No. That guy needs an attitude adjustment. >> Do you want me to take his phone and wallet or anything like that? cuz he'll be able to call you from his phone. >> No, it's not. >> Okay. >> No, I I don't want him to call me. >> Okay, good. Just roll all the way there. >> Yep. >> So, um one What can I >> If he gets a bond, he'll he'll call you. >> Okay. Um you'll be >> No need for a lawyer, no nothing. >> If that's up to you. I mean, that's up to you guys. >> You can get a lawyer. You don't have to get a lawyer. It's it's kind of all up to you. >> So, what two days? What is it? >> No, he'll have court Tuesday. >> I say it all the time here on this channel. There are differences between the the laws in different states. Um, here in Arizona, when you're arrested, in overwhelming general terms, within 24 hours, you're seeing an an IIA judge or an initial appearance judge. Um, within 24 hours of the time you were taken into custody. If the calendar is right, the offense that we just watched happened on a Saturday and they're not holding court until Tuesday, that means that guy has to sit there for the rest of the day Saturday, all day Sunday, all day Monday, and probably half the day on Tuesday. That's awesome. That's a lot of time to sit and think about your actions and the repercussions of acting like a jerk instead of not just being a good human. So, I that's the way Ohio rolls. I like it. It's the most physical activity that guy's done in a while. >> Right this way. >> Right through this door. >> You go in second door on your right here. Yep. >> To the bench. >> Stay. You can sit or stand up to you. I'll be right back. You want to watch it real quick? >> You need an ambulance for anything? Anything like that? >> Going to face that way? >> No idea. >> I don't think so. Go ahead and take a seat. >> Put your hand in here. >> I'm not a violent criminal. >> Well, that was the most violent thing I've seen in like two weeks. You want to put your your hand in here? >> You want to put your hand in here? >> I didn't do anything. >> Well, that's not true. man should just listen. >> Probably true would have solved a lot of problems. >> Step out for me. >> And I bet this is at the jail. >> We'll get you your build. I got to pat him down first. >> Go ahead. >> All right. Over here. How you doing? >> To jail. You go. Charlie was charged with resisting arrest with bond set at $2,000. >> Body cam bingo.
