And I just wasn't paying attention to what my speed was and then I saw one and then I just >> saw one left >> cop car and then I just kept going. I honestly thought about just crashing my bike and myself. I'm not going to lie. >> All right, man. You are under arrest. Okay, >> sell me clean eluding. >> Some bikers love speed and think it's just good old fun and they can outrun the consequences. But what happens when the chase turns against them and every turn becomes a trap? >> Stop. Actually, stop. Turn around. >> Put your hands up. What the are you doing? >> Stop. >> Just straight over the curb. [ __ ] bike was flying. >> Yeah, it looked like he was airborne and I thought he wiped it. >> And then I heard this motorcycle in my street going really fast and then he dumped it right there, parked it behind a trailer. >> Here are several times when crazy bikers realized too late that running from the cops was a bad idea. signing with this young man who decided that practicing [music] bike stunts with his dirt bike on a public road and outrunning the cops was a good idea. >> He's going to be going westbound. We're coming up to >> traffic is zero. Conditions are safe. >> 67 radio. That male's detained, >> but it's still tight. On July the 3rd, 2023, a squad car was informed about a young man riding his dirt bike on a public road while practicing motorcycle tricks. [music] The officer tried to pull him over, but the young man ignored the signal and ran a red light, which led to a pursuit. During the hunt, the suspect indulged in even worse behaviors, probably thinking his dirt bike would get him to safety, but that was a reality that might have existed just in his mind. A dirt bike, Lakeland, and the Lloyd Rams driving on the sidewalks. Going to be trying to stop them. >> What direction? >> He's going to be going westbound. We're coming up toward 7 West or correction, west on Lakeland. the bike red and white. >> It ran the Lakeland or the Lakeland and Lloyd free light, but it stopped at the Lloyd and Lake from earlier. the colors red and white. >> Yeah, that's going to be him. He's wearing the same face mask and stuff that was in the record. Passing 2760. on the road. >> Yeah, he's still on the road. Speeds are After some time, the officer discovered that it was too risky to chase him down on a one-way road, which brought the chase to a halt. Moments later, another officer caught sight of the suspect and immediately went after him. The biker may have thought that he'd never get caught, and it was just a matter of time before he'd disappear into thin air. But what he didn't know was that the officer always would find a way around situations like this. >> Where are we at right now? >> Traffic. >> Where are we at right now? 61 in pursuit. He's doing wheelies up and down. >> Traffic is zero. Conditions are safe. Speeds are about 35 mph. Uclid and Tumine. He's turning left on Tumine. The speeds are about he's turning back onto Uclid Avenue. Heading westbound doing wheelies on the sidewalk on the south side of the street. Speeds are about 40. [screaming] >> Coming up to Magnolia Drive on Uclid Avenue right now. He's still on the southside sidewalk. >> After an ineffective chase, all officers were ordered to stop the pursuit. Dispatch were able to identify the juvenile and he had already been registered in the system for previous violations. The officers decided to pay the young man a visit a few hours later. Robert, >> sir. Come on up. Don't put your hands behind your back for me. >> 67 radio. That male's detained. >> But he's still tight. >> Yeah, we'll get him something. >> Got to get my shoes. We can get your shoes. >> You mind getting him a pair of shoes or slides or something >> and a shirt? >> Okay. Go tighter. >> Don't move your hands. >> You twist them in, they're going to start to hurt. >> See, I got my phone on me. >> Okay. Don't >> you have anything else in your pocket? Stab me. Yeah, we got some uh we got a couple cases with him. So, he's going to come with us today. >> All of them know [music] you come back. >> He's probably not going to come back today. >> Maybe >> they put on clothes. Put on shirt. >> Yeah, we'll get him something. Let's finish this up first and then we'll let you go back in and get him a shirt or something to get. >> You mind getting him a pair of shoes or slides or something? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> A shirt. >> What is the problem with him? >> What's I'm [music] not going to explain the case to you. All I can say is that we have a case against him. That's it. You're all done for now. We'll get you. >> Okay. >> We'll talk to you up at the station. The suspect was eventually charged with fleeing and eluding and half a dozen traffic violations. The last guy was definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he was nothing compared to Thomas J. Haney, an unhinged motorcyclist who drove at over 100 mph while riding with his [music] pregnant girlfriend. >> The motorcycle was hauling. She's dead. I'm not sure about him. He's more than likely he's dead, too. He ran from it. >> He tried to stop him and they took off >> and he ran from it. >> He t-boned a car at about probablyund I don't know 110 miles an hour. >> On June the 1st, 2025, an officer tried to initiate a traffic stop on a bike near [music] the intersection of Nettleton Circle and Wilar because the motorcyclist refused to stop at a stop sign and had no tags shown. This led to a pursuit that was later discontinued for safety reasons. After a while, officers received an emergency call concerning an accident at the intersection of Flint and Nettleton involving a bike and two riders identified as 28-year-old Thomas J. Haney and 20-year-old Willow Cersi and another motor vehicle. When the officers arrived, they were welcomed by a scene filled with chaos, heartache, and bad news. >> Thomas 4 dispatch, get me uh ambulance out here. It's bad. real bad. >> Coming. He has He has a P now. He has P. He has P. Yeah, he's still breathing. >> Dispatch, both subjects are barely breathing. It does not look good. >> Hey, I think she might have just stopped breathing. >> She was gas. >> Are you okay? Dispatch, give me a quarter. >> Sir, that white car right there. He was doing 80 mph this way. The white car was >> Oh, yeah. >> He was doing 80 mph. Where's that person? >> They come around the curve and got sideways. Where's this person? >> Are you okay? >> Oh my god. >> Your side hurts a little bit. >> Let me get your driver's license, your insurance. Are y'all okay? >> Yeah, I'm fine. >> You're okay? Can you tell me what happened? A [ __ ] light was green and I seen the bike come through the light and it was there. My light was green cuz the person next to me just turned on a yellow light. >> Okay. Well, it's all on video so >> I'm pretty sure it wasing green, man. >> You got your driver's license? >> That's what I'm looking for right now. My bad, man. >> Damn. >> Well, here take that whole thing. I know. Is he done? >> Probably. >> Yeah. The other one up the street is >> the one up there is 107. Yeah. >> Butters, you got a sheep. >> I know. Which car is this? >> That is the white car. They said he was doing 80 miles an hour through the inter behind the school. I heard it. It was loud as hell. >> Well, that motorcycle I don't know how fast the motor the motorcycle was hauling and loud. >> She's dead. I'm not sure about him. He's more than likely he's dead, too. >> That was the motorcycle driver. >> Yeah, that's the guy. That's the driver right there. That car, she was in the vehicle with her with him. >> I'm going to need traffic. I'm going to need somebody out here to [music] work traffic while I try to figure out exactly what's going on. Please. >> The officer began to make sense of the situation and it was evident that Thomas was unfortunately suffering from [music] the consequences of his actions. >> He have a wallet. >> Nothing on him. >> I need another Should be a bike. >> I think that's the backpack he had on. That's the backpack that she had on. >> Yeah, this is the driver. No, this is that right there is the driver right there in the tank top. >> Is the girl driving the car? >> No. >> I think she was a motorcycle. >> I'm going to dude. I got behind them over on um Cobra House. Cobra. No, not Cobra House. Um, straw runs into it. It Yeah, it was Cobra House. I got behind them. They went by me and they did. I was setting up to watch the stop sign and they didn't have any tags on the bike. So, I pulled out behind them and I I kind of got I tried to get up to him and he went around the corner and I can't I can't remember if they turned around, looked at me or not, but they went around the corner and I saw that there wasn't a tag on the vehicle. So, I lit him up and uh as soon as I lit him up, he gunned it. And I was uh calling out dispatch. I called out to dispatch that um >> do you want tape or anything? >> Tape or paint? >> Tape. >> He's going to die. Shoot. Oh, he's dead. There's two7. Huh? But >> that's what this >> Hey, is he is he is he done? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um, so I got behind him. >> No. Okay, so we were going I guess it was Vine. Let me let me get my bearings. Clover House is just right here. [music] So, we were on Vine Street. He turned onto either Walnut or Wilar and I lit him up right there. Well, um about halfway down the street and I turned my siren on because he wasn't slowing down. So, he turn I think he turned here and just gunned it as hard as he could. Blew through the the stop sign and almost got hit by a truck. I pulled out and I immediately stopped in the road. told dispatch that I was not in pursuit, that I had a bike run from me, that I was not in pursuit. >> Uh uh Tommy, he was right over there. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I was cuz I was on the phone with him when I heard the siren. I heard said I think they just wrecked out. >> What are they talking about? I was like, >> he was on a he was on a civil standby with a kid custody thing. >> Hey, ma'am. Ma'am. >> No, I was not pursuing him. I stopped. Um I mean I could smell a super strong smell of green bead coming out of that backpack right there. So was that you that told me that they were flying through the intersection so fast? >> The guy right there who were doing the uh paper work. He told us that he seen it and they was so when I heard the bam, I ran over here and started praying for him. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah. But he seen everything. >> Okay. He said that the white car came flying around this corner down here and was going about 80 mph through the intersection. Yeah. He swears he had a green light, but he doesn't he doesn't know how hard that impact is. They had to been going fast. >> We don't know. There's the camera. So, >> yeah. Oh, yeah. >> No, I was I was still down there at the lot with you were down here. >> I was still down there at the lot talking to a guy. >> How you get down here so fast? You must have already here. >> He ran from >> He tried to stop him. off >> and he ran from me. So, I turned my lights off. I turned everything off and got on the radio and said, >> "Look, look at this shit." Um, I uh I told my dispatch, "I'm not pursuing." >> While the officers continued their investigations, more shattering information came to light. One that would make you wonder what had possessed Thomas. >> The black backpack was on him and the other backpack was on her. So, if y'all want to go in that, if y'all want to figure out, I bet his ID is in that black backpack because there's nothing in his pockets. In his back pockets. >> I No, that's the reason I tried to stop him. >> Hey, David. >> Good, cuz I need it. The guy in the silver SUV right over there. >> [groaning] >> You good, bro? >> Yeah, I think so. >> Um, >> I don't know who's actually working the wreck. I'm not. Um, but they need to get these. >> Not yet. Wait till C gets out here. Um, I'm not sure >> because we got to I don't want anything to I mean, granted, he's dead. He has no expectation of privacy. She'sing pregnant. >> Yeah, that's what I heard. Heard you say that. So, you identified him? >> It's TJ Haney. >> TJ. Okay. Do you know him? >> Mhm. Know him real well? >> Oh, really? >> I let him ride my my motorcycle probably a month ago. >> Did you really? >> My Prillia. Yep. We got mutual friends. He's been in [ __ ] tons of trouble. >> Really? He survived a motorcycle wreck >> six months ago. They spent a month in the hospital here on stretchers. Okay. >> I didn't know the female. Do you know the girlfriend? >> I don't know her, but I just found out I just called a buddy of mine and uh who's our mutual friend and that is definitely him. >> That's he described his bike to a tea. >> Really? Okay. Okay. All right. Um you want me to look inside that backpack? See if we get any idea of that? >> No, not yet. Not until seated. Not until there's no actual registration return out of any state. However, Maryland, there wasn't a code that was >> ask make sure I'm not going to have to go do any piss tests or anything like that cuz I don't want to anything up because I didn't I was not pursuing. >> In the end, Thomas J. Haney and Willow Cersei passed away. Still on the topic of crazy bikers, we have Demetrius Katis, a novice motorcyclist who thought it was wise to ignore the sirens and tragically lost his life in the process. >> And now he's fleeing southbound over the Pass. He's a real bad driver. >> I think his neck is broken, though. >> On February the 1st, 2024, an officer saw a biker driving at over 90 m an hour and ran a red light and almost got hit by another vehicle. The officer attempted to flag down the suspect, but he fled. And this resulted in a high-speed chase. As the chase progressed, the officer thought that Demetrius would eventually do the right thing. Little did he know that a far more terrible thing was about to unfold. >> I might have a motorcycle taking off on me. Southbound John Wayne. I haven't even let him up. He's 80. Like I said, I haven't even yet. He's not driving very good either. Like he's experienced driving. Shut your bike off. Shut your bike off. And now he's fleeing southbound over the W pass. He's a real bad driver. 90 mph. Ran a red light and almost got hit. Let Ochin know he's headed their way and he's Oh, he's crashed. He crashed out at uh right before Hathaway or excuse me, right before uh Alter North. Call paramedics. He's down. >> Hey, can you Yeah, please stop there. I know he almost hit you. >> No, no, no. I just seen a wreck, bro. >> I know. I know. You You're pulling out over there. Sit tight for me. >> All right. >> No, no. I just I just see the guy wreck. The officer did the best he could to help Demetrius, even if it might end up being futile. After all, it was unwise for an inexperienced [music] rider to speed on a bike like that. He's not responsive. >> No breathing. Faint pulse. Looks like a broken neck. He was driving horribly even just to start. >> He said the same thing. >> Yeah, he like he almost when he ran the red light, this guy was pulling out almost hit him. >> He's got no ID on him. What? >> He's got no ID on him. >> He was like he was driving like even before I tried to stop him like he was like not being able like not being able to balance on his bike. >> Let's pull yours up a little after we get this. >> All right. You mind? >> Yeah. Go ahead and take a look. Let me see if he's still got a faint paw. I think his neck is broken though. >> Yeah, he's still got a little bit of a pulse. >> You heard what I said. I wasn't even trying to stop him at the lit up yet. I hadn't lit him up until right at Honeyut and he pulled over and then he then he drove forward and punched it over the overpass. I got down right before here and he ran the red light. I started to I backed off and backed off over there and then he then I saw him wreck out. Don't. Demetrius Catis eventually met his demise due to his rash choices. In the next case, we have this reckless man who drove at over 120 mph and fled when the officers tried to initiate a traffic stop, but ultimately faced a punishment he'd never forget. >> Why didn't you stop for, man? >> Dude, I couldn't lose my license. I was freaking the out. I honestly thought about just crashing my bike anding myself. I'm not going to lie. >> Over a speeding ticket. >> Yes. >> All right, man. You are under arrest. Okay. On May the 17th, 2024, Columbia County Sheriff's deputies were given information about [music] a speeding motorcycle in Marcelon, Wisconsin. Immediately following the radio transmission, a deputy parked along a highway spotted the rider of the red motorcycle zooming past at 90 mph. The deputy went into a full-blown chase, only to realize that their race would create more problems than solutions. 325, there's a red motorcycle passing on the shoulder westbound. Approximately 90 mph, 33 country club. Still trying to catch up. Speed's right on 4 3325. Probably a half mile ahead. >> Speed's at 92 33 Garrison 3325 plus visual in the city at this point. >> Continuing high rate of speed east. I will not pursue. Advise the return, please. >> After the pursuit proved unsuccessful, the officer traced the man's identity through his license plate and went further to visit the address linked to the registered motorcycle, but found out that he had moved. The sheriff's office later uploaded a Facebook post giving the culprit the opportunity to reach out and explain his behavior. It was later discovered that another deputy had incidentally [music] seen the man that same day during a traffic stop, and he mentioned securing a new residence nearby. Using a realtor website, a deputy identified three recently sold homes in the area. The deputies visited one of the homes and met a neighbor who pinpointed the culprit's house and later notified the officers when the suspect was at home. Once they received the information, they decided to pay him a visit. Immediately as they arrived, they knocked for what felt like forever. But the crazy biker didn't know that with every moment he delayed, [music] his doom drew nearer. Woo! Are you sure he's home? Let's go. [music] There he is. >> Hello. >> Hi there. How are you? >> You good? How about you? >> Good. Are you >> Yeah. >> Okay. We need to talk. Okay. >> Okay. No. No. >> So, you know why we're here? Yep. >> Okay. So, why would we be here? >> Okay. You have an ID with you? >> You don't need to go in yet. Just >> The officer began to question the suspect who tried to turn the situation [music] into a pity party with his story and actions, but he was already in way too deep to be saved by such a facade. >> Before you go reach in the car, man, you got any weapons in there or anything? >> Okay. So, what about the motorcycle? >> Um, no. yesterday. >> Okay. What happened yesterday? It wasn't working. So, >> uh going 100. >> Going 100. >> Yeah. Why did you do that? >> I had a really bad day and I >> Yeah. I wanted to blow off some steam and I just wasn't paying attention to what my speed was and then I saw one and then I just >> saw one what? >> Cop car. And then I just kept going because I >> Why didn't you stop for me? >> Dude, I couldn't lose my license. I was freaking the out. I need >> It's a speeding ticket though, >> bro. But like the thing is I just bought this house and I have a job and and that was all that was going through my mind. I was like, "Dude, I can't lose my license. I I just bought this house and Yeah. So, >> you know, just relax, man. Just talk to me. it. I mean, it's it was a speeding ticket. So, I mean, when when the cop turned around, >> I I honestly thought about just crashing my bike and myself. I'm not going to lie. >> Over a speeding ticket. >> Yes, dude. I >> My speed My experience with cops has been awful and I just I don't know. My life was just going good. So, I was like, I I either end it right now as it's going good or like I try and get away. And that's what I did. Okay. So, I was >> You saw You saw his license sirens. I mean, it's one of those >> I mean, I didn't see the first guys, but the second dude. Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, you took off cuz you didn't want to lose your license. >> Yeah. >> How fast did you get up to? >> 140. >> Okay. Inel out of town. >> Out of town. >> Sounds like you're going pretty fast in city, too. >> Yeah. >> Lose some red lights. >> One of them. Yeah. >> Sounds like you got in a crash, too. >> Yeah, I lost you. >> How bad's the bike damaged? >> That's it. >> That's it. >> Didn't hurt yourself. Who'd you crash into? >> Uh, some guy in a black like SUV just tried to pin me against another car. >> You know who you crashed into? >> I have no idea. >> The actual sheriff himself. >> Okay. Kind of dangerous. Yeah. >> You know it's not okay to take off from the police, right? >> I know. I know. >> All right. You know that when the lights come on, you have to stop. When the sirens come on, you definitely need to stop, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you heard the lights and sirens. You just didn't want to lose your license. >> Yeah. I was freaking out, dude. I >> Okay. >> was on my adrenaline rush. I just I Yeah. >> Why didn't you just call us afterwards? Say I made a mistake. >> I don't know. I was freaking out. Okay. >> It's all over Facebook now. >> They kind of tried to give you an opportunity to just kind of make it right. >> I mean, so you know that you can't flee. You know that's fleeting and looting, right? >> Yeah. I didn't think about anything yesterday. >> Okay. You know that if you get in a crash, you're required to stop. You can't just keep going. You Okay. You do know that. >> I I honestly didn't think I did too much to be honest. >> Doesn't matter if you're involved in a crash, right? >> No. I I Yeah. >> You hit a car. >> Yeah. You're required to stop and report that. You're required to stop for the red and blue lights and siren. Can't run. >> I I have no excuses. I I truly I have nothing. >> Can't run stop signs, stop lights, and all that stuff. Okay. >> No, I was just I bought a lawn mower to mow the lawn cuz I had a house party yesterday and um it didn't start and I was cranking it like 45 times and I was pissed off and my mom was like, "Oh, you going to go for a motorcycle ride? Cool down." And I don't know why the I decided to, but yeah, there's there's that. >> What What all do you have on you right now? >> Nothing. >> Okay. All right. >> All right, man. You are under arrest. Okay. >> Fel clean and um hit. >> There you go. Let your hands go. Let your hands go. >> Thank you. After taking him into custody, the officers gathered all the evidence they could, making it known that his actions would not go unpunished. >> You want your phone? Grab it in there. Is your phone in here? >> It's on the >> Oh, on the Is it all right if I grab it? >> Yeah. >> I'm just going to stay with you. Okay. >> Having a nice day. >> Besides, >> just starting my day. I do appreciate you coming to the door and talking to me. Okay. >> Yeah. No, no problem. >> Sometimes we just got things we got to get taken care of, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. Am I staying overnight? >> You'll be staying until you see a judge, bud. You got a at least one felony if not two. Okay. >> I want to reach over you so we back as best as you can and work hard with the cops. Okay. >> I appreciate you cooperating. Okay. As I started the one yesterday, >> um he's asking if you would continue to cooperate a little bit. Can we get your helmet and your letters? >> Where's it at? Are these the right shoes? >> Yeah. Do I have to lose the shoes? >> Huh? >> Do I You guys have to take the shoes. >> Hey, Garrett. >> Yep. >> Did you see the Facebook post? >> No, I don't really use Facebook. >> All right. Did you know about it? >> No. >> I think it was on the sheriff's page and it was on the like some news page, local like Columbia County scanner or something. basically was uh asking for cooperation that uh you just call us and reach out and talk to us about the incident stand right over here for me. >> In the end, the suspect was charged with two counts of felony vehicle fleeing eluding an officer as well as misdemeanor hit and run. Additionally, he accumulated $2,500 in traffic citations for every wrong move he made during the chase. He was released a few days later on a $500 cash bond. Following that, we have this irresponsible man who carelessly rode through lanes and thought that he could hide from the cops, but unfortunately fell into a trap of his own making. >> [ __ ] >> You did. We were chasing you. >> I'm trying to ride. >> Oh, you're about to learn. >> About to lose your license. You realize that with the little experience that you have on a bike, all it takes is somebody to make one small error on the road. And >> on March the 24th, 2025, a Hullman police officer was dispatched after receiving reports of a motorcyclist on a black bike with no license plates speeding down the road at top speed, swerving through lanes and putting lives at risk. The cops tried to chase him down, but the motorcyclist gave them a tough time, believing the streets were his. All right. Where'd he go? >> 7-Eleven wiped out at 2:00. >> 7-Eleven. We're looking for him. Where'd he go? >> He went over that curb. Where did he go? >> I have no idea. >> Hey, you see a bike go through? He went through. >> He's got the motorcycle. I'm looking for the driver or he's looking for B. >> 7-Eleven. Looked like he wiped out. He took some uh >> I don't know where he's at. >> Copy. >> He went through some backyards here in Deerwood Park. I don't know where he's at right now. >> Which way to go? >> Second on second half. So, it looked like he went towards D. Everybody's pointing towards D right now. >> 161. Stop and see if they saw that that motorcycle there on the corner. >> You want to go back and see if they saw him go out this way. >> The officer soon received a gamechanging update from dispatch. One that would change the course of the investigation. >> Looking for the motorcycle. 301 Street says there's a guy on a motorcycle in the driveway. >> He's behind the trailer. >> Behind the trailer. >> He's behind that trailer. Yes. >> All right. Thank you. 7-Eleven. I'm out with him behind the trailer. >> The officers eventually got a hold of the biker [music] and he was no longer the fearless stuntman flying on his bike. Maybe it had dawned on him that there was no going back. 7-Eleven. Turn your hands. Stop. Stop. >> I seen the light. >> Stop. I accidentally thought >> Turn around. >> Put your hands up. What the are you doing? >> Stop. >> What the hell are you doing driving a bike like that? >> Stop. >> I didn't even [ __ ] >> You did. We were chasing you. >> I'm trying to ride. Oh, >> you're about to learn. >> About to lose your license. I don't even know if the bike's going to start. >> Well, you got him. >> Yeah. Let's go to the front of my car. >> You're like yourself. >> I thought he wiped out. Looked like he got air. >> Are you dumb? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I have nothing on me. All right. What do you want to do? >> It looked like he just launched over and wiped out, but it sound like he went through a bunch of backyards and then >> Oh, freaking park. >> He was I think he was He was parked in your driveway, wasn't he? I don't know what the hell you're thinking, man. It's the middle of the day. >> He just came flying by, dumped his bike, and then started running towards the creek. And then he probably he didn't know he was a creek there, bro. All right. Good job, boys. >> Appreciate their fault. >> Yeah. Laying around, you know. >> You got anything illegal in here? >> No. >> What's your first car keys? >> As soon as I was on the report, >> I can't believe he kept going. >> I thought he wiped out. I did too. >> I just lost the bike. >> Well, whoever called it anytime. >> 600 Ninja. What is this, dude? You should have saw him go over. He Sand Lake and Garter. >> Hey, what kind of bike keeps running from you guys? Is it a black ninja? >> I cannot believe he kept it up. >> He I think he caught it first. It was on Sand Lake Road flying [music] into town and then I just saw him I was on Gardner. I just saw him fly through. >> He went straight. >> It looked like by the ball fields. >> Yeah, he went straight. He did not turn. Just straight over the curb. Freaking bike was flying. Yeah, it looked like he was airborne and I thought he wiped it >> and he managed to keep it up and keep going. >> Yeah, >> that's impressive >> cuz we were both looking for a bike crash somewhere over there and >> so I started heading. >> Well, he didn't wipe out. He He went straight over the curb. Like the bike was flying. He kept it upright [music] and kept going through the grass. >> I'm going to read you your rights right now. As it stands, you're going to be charged with at least felony fleeing. Um probably a laundry list of other traffic violations you got coming your way. Before I read you this, are you up for talking to me about what happened today or no? >> I'll see how. [clears throat] >> Well, don't start. It's yes or no. >> I'll tell you what. I'll read you this and then you tell me. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law at any time you wish. Include during the questioning. >> Do you understand each of these rights? >> Okay. Realizing that you now have these rights or you now want to answer questions or make a statement? >> Um, no. >> You don't want to talk to me at all? >> Oh, be fine. >> No. Hey, hey, hey, hey. It's it's a yes or no. I read you your rights. If you don't want to talk to me, you don't want to talk to me, it's it's a yes or no. >> That's a bike. If the thing >> it's yes or no. >> Sure. I just got that bike 2 weeks ago. >> So, why are you driving like you're driving today? >> Trying to learn and then when I seem to like panic and >> Okay. You realize that you could like we we could be scooping you up off the side of the road right now. We we've done that before. We don't really like doing that. >> I was panicking and trying to stop the bike and then end up. >> Come on, man. Don't give me bull. I >> I ended up off the road. >> Yeah, I know. Oh, I saw you go off the road and then cut through people's backyards. We thought you launched it and crashed it. >> Show you in my videos sometimes. >> I can't believe he kept it upright. I don't know how. >> That's wild. >> Cuz he was like I saw the end of the bike like up like this once he went over that curb. >> I don't know how he did it on that corner. >> You got a normal driver's license? You got a normal car or a regular car? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You ever been in trouble before? >> Um like I think once like a while ago. >> What was that for? >> Destruction of property when I was in school. What are we listening to? >> No idea. >> Nothing good. >> I'm I'm struggling to understand why you would do this. I mean, it's it's concerning that we're driving a bike like this with sandy roads and a bunch of people running around, right? Like, this is a huge issue. Like, no more driver's license. Probably not going to ever drive a bike again. What was with the driving in an Alaska before you made it up to home? Passing in a double yellow, cutting cars off, flying by people. You realize that with the little experience that you have on a bike, all it takes is somebody to make one small error on the road and you're >> Do you I mean, do you understand that? >> To some degree. >> As the officer was speaking to the suspect, it started to become very clear that his actions weren't backed up by logic. >> Explain that to me to some degree. >> And I understand one mistake. And >> I'm not even talking about your mistake. I'm talking about somebody's on their phone and they take a they take a quick left turn right in front of you and you smoke them and you're going that fast and you're flying from the cops. I just I'm I'm trying to understand it. Why Why would you do it? It just doesn't seem worth it to me. Whose bike is it? Is [music] it yours? Did you buy it? >> It's my bike. >> Is there a discrepancy or something? Like why don't you have tags on it because you >> uh I just got it. I got just had the title in the mail. I just haven't gotten into getting it in. I haven't even transferred quite yet. >> Okay. Do you have anything else you want to say reference what happened today or no? Where were you coming from? >> I was coming from home. >> You got a wallet or anything? Anything with a driver's license? >> Should have been in my wallet that you guys took out of my pocket. Should be on the hood. >> No, he doesn't have one. >> He said it's in his wallet. >> Where's your wallet? >> Uh, y'all took it out of my pocket and threw it on the hug or on the ground. >> No, I didn't. I took your phone out of your pocket or receipt. You see a wallet? While the officers were still looking for his phone and wallet, the witness who contacted the police had something to share with them. Something that might have an impact on the case. There's >> nothing in his helmet. >> Hey, what's up? >> He did run all the way through the creek. I don't know if he's something or not. >> Okay, >> I can show you like kind of where I saw him. I don't know if you if he's got something on him or not. >> I don't see a lot. >> It was in my right pocket right here. >> This pocket? >> This one? >> It was there. No, pulled it out. Don't think we did. I can check my camera, but I'm pretty sure I only took out your phone and this receipt and then your keys. Unless it fell out when you uh Dude, I cannot believe you kept your bike up, right? >> I I don't know. >> I'm shocked. You okay? You're not injured at all, are you? >> Can't talk this morning. >> Do you want EMS to check you out? >> Were you guys looking for him before I called? >> Okay, cuz you guys are here quick. >> Whoa. >> This your property here? Did you call us? yet. >> Okay, perfect. >> Just on my way outside. I saw him I I saw him go down the street like at 100 miles an hour. >> Just came out of my garage and then Well, I heard you guys and then I heard this motorcycle in my street going really fast and then he dumped it right there, parked it behind the trailer and started running down here. >> I yell at him and said, "What are you doing?" And that's when he came back. >> He just ran down here, realized there was water and came back up. So, okay. We appreciate the call, man. >> Yeah. That I don't want that. >> You find a wallet or no? No, >> I don't think I took it out of his pocket. He says I did, but >> what do we got going on here? >> He took off from us. >> Yeah, >> he's going to jail. >> When I heard this, I'm thinking, >> is this the one that we had this summer? >> You know, the one out on D >> that gave you guys a chase all over. >> What the are you doing, stupid dumb? >> I think he's done cuz I I got him again like a month or so later in his car. He crashed his car. >> The officers turned to the biker once again and this time made sure that he understood the gravity of his irrational actions. >> When was the last time you got arrested for anything? I can't get you in trouble for a past experience where you've been arrested. I just want I just want to I want to see where we're at here. >> Last time I was very cough like 20 21. >> We can look it up. I'm not I'm not trying to trip you up. It's not something the chump. I just want to know so that we can understand or >> maybe anticipate continuous problems with you in the future. My my I guess my question or my point is is this going to be a a frequent thing with you? >> Okay. How come you ran down to the creek? >> I don't even know where I was. >> Well, I know that >> I went into the thing. I don't know where I was. >> So, did you just hit water and not want to go any further or what? >> Stopped when I could get the bike to actually stop. When I first when you first let me know, I went to downshift and it wouldn't slow down on them enough. And when I hit the hill, continued going. >> Okay. So, people lie to me every single day. And I don't really appreciate it when somebody who's terrible at lying tries to throw me a lie. I know you weren't. I know you weren't slowing down on the bike. You would have stopped way sooner than that. >> Hit throttle, let off >> and then you kept going through backyards and made it all the way over here. That's That's bull. You did not try and slow down that bike because you were going too fast and you had cops on your and you didn't want to stop. That's felony fleeing. Have you ever ran from the cops before? I wouldn't make it a habit cuz you at it. >> You said you've never been arrested before >> in the jail. I haven't been like actually pit through completely. >> You've been to the jail? >> Yeah. >> What you been to jail for? >> I don't even remember what it was for. >> I can look. It was a felony. Oh, for battery. Is that case still open? I think that case is closed. >> After the suspect was transported to the station, he was informed of the consequences he had brought upon himself and also received a few words of wisdom from the officer. Words that only a smart person would heed. >> We're going to go in. We're going to go to the left here and then you're going to sit down for me. Okay. Sit down right there. Perfect. All right, bud. So, we're going to have the same court date and time, but I just got to let you know what you're getting cited for. Uh, this first ticket is for failing to display vehicle license plates. It's zero points on your license, it's $15010. Unreasonable and improved speed, $15010. Operating without a valid motorcycle license, three points [snorts] on your license, $200.50. Three points on your license. Motorcycle tires failure to meet requirements. Your tires are completely bald. That's $175.30. Deviating from lane of traffic, $17,5.30. Unsafe passing on the right, $332. passing into oncoming traffic. $32650. Reckless driving, $97,4.50. Believe it or not, I'm just glad you or anyone else didn't get hurt. I am shocked. I was completely convinced you crashed when you went over that curb cuz all I saw was the back end of your bike standing straight up. I'm I'm sorry we met this way and and whatever, but you just got to make better decisions, man. It's the middle of the day. You're brand new to riding. If you continue to ride like that, you're gonna kill yourself. And I used to ride. So, I'm not I'm not just some cop telling you that. You get what I'm saying? If it's too much, just sell it. It's not worth your life or someone else's life. I mean, you go over that hill like that and there's a kid on the other side, you're still riding a 400 lb bike. It would kill him, right? And it's not it's not worth it, man. >> In the end, the biker was charged with felony, fleeing, and eluding an officer. secondderee recklessly risking safety. He also received multiple traffic citations accumulating over $2,400 and was eventually released on a $1,000 signature bond. In July 2025, he pleaded guilty to felony fleeing and eluding an officer. The other charge was dismissed but read in. All of the traffic citations except one were also dismissed. In another shocking case, we have this intoxicated man who crashed his bike while driving under the influence and thought he could go ballistic on the officers. Like dude, Snobie, so off, man. >> When did you last eat? >> Shut the [ __ ] up. >> Were you operating a vehicle/ motorcycle immediately prior to police contact? >> No. >> On May the 19th, 2021, officers were deployed after receiving a report about a man sitting on grass beside a dumped bike at the center of the street. Upon arrival, the officers began to interrogate the man and immediately noticed that something was very off about him. >> Hello, sir. You all right? Yeah. I'm officer Warren from the police department. Can you go and say it up for me, please? >> Yeah. >> Do you have a registration for your bike? >> Love to? >> Uh, actually, no. Uh, I don't. You don't? >> Uh, so I bought this bike yesterday. >> From where? >> Uh, so it's private. >> It's a private dealer. >> Uhhuh. >> So it's a guy. >> Uh-huh. >> And I don't have his uh personal information. >> Are you injured? >> No. >> Okay. What happened? I don't know, man. I just uh really wanted to ride it home tonight and it's my new bike and uh yeah, I uh really wanted to ride my >> Did you hit something or did you just dump it or what? >> Yeah, I just like, you know, prettying hit something. Yeah. >> What' you hit? >> Dumped it. >> So, you just dumped it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Wasn't ready. >> Do you have your ID? >> Yeah. So, here's my debit card. >> Okay. I don't want that. >> Okay. >> Sorry, man. You all right? >> Yeah. >> Here's my ID. >> All right. >> Mr. Have you had anything to drink tonight? >> No. >> Nothing at all? >> No. >> Where you coming from? >> Uh, just my friend's place. >> Where's that at? >> West Champagne. West Urbana, actually. >> West Urbana. >> Yeah, West Urbana. >> Okay. So, near here or far from here? >> Far from here. Dropped your money. >> Barely a money. [music] Do me a favor. Breathe on me real quick. >> No. Breathe on me. Breathe out. Breathe out. Blow out. >> Okay. Anything to drink? >> No. >> You said you're coming from a friend's house. >> Yeah. >> Where are you going? >> Home. >> Home. Where's home at? >> Home. I'm just man. If you want to follow me there, like you can you can do that. >> What's your highest level of education? >> Uh, college probably. I don't know, man. >> Did you go to college? >> No, I'm a smart man. Uh, yeah. >> So, you graduated high school? >> Yeah. >> Okay. But you never went to college? >> Yeah. Uh, uh, yeah, I went to college. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. When's the last time you had something to eat? >> Uh, man, I don't know. 4 hours ago. 4 hours. What' you have to eat? >> Go cheese. >> Okay. Cheese. All right. So, it's safe to assume you know all your letters of the alphabet. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Could you recite the alphabet starting with the letter E and finishing with the letter P without singing? E to P. >> E to P. >> Yeah. E to P without singing. L M N P U RX Z U YZ Oh, >> it's okay. Take your time. I got all that. E to P. >> L M N O P E. >> We can move on. There's something different. Okay. But what he didn't know was that he would singlehandedly shatter that dream and end up in cuffs. >> 4 63 63 62 61 60 69 60 61 69 68 Oh, well, you know, like Okay. Okay. All right. Thank you. >> That's all right. I appreciate it. Okay. >> You sure you haven't had anything to drink? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Pretty sure. >> Pretty sure, huh? Okay. All right. You will want to do some fuel soiety tests for me. Make sure you're okay to ride this. >> No. >> You don't want to do any fuel soiety tests? >> Why not? >> Come in. >> Said you had anything to drink, right? >> Dude, are you going to be cool with me or not? >> I'm being very cool with you. No, I'm just going to I'm just going to go home. >> Okay. Well, you can't go home. >> Are you sure? >> I'm sure. Yeah. Are you willing to do the sobriety test? >> [ __ ] you guys. >> So, that's No. >> No. >> That's no. >> No. I'll do it. >> Oh, okay. >> I mean, I'll do it. I'm just saying you guys. >> Okay. I'm glad you had it. >> No, pick it up, man. Pick it up. >> He's picking it up. >> He's already WHAT'S IN THERE? WHAT'S IN MY WALLET, MAN? WHAT'S IN MY WALLET? >> I DROPPED YOUR VISA CARD. >> OH [ __ ] OH MY GOD. MY [ __ ] [ __ ] Come on. >> A key card. >> Oh my god. >> Oh, don't worry, man. >> The officer spoke to a witness and his account exposed the suspect and all of his lies came crashing down. >> Yep. >> Did they start to talk to you guys already? >> He just got our information. >> He's got your Okay. How did you guys come upon this gentleman? >> So, we were going up to uh to cover Ran Tool and his bike was laid down here and there was the gentleman in the black car in the left um and >> a cop. >> No, it was a bystander. And so the bystander was kind of looking at me. And so he initially thought this guy hit him, but he this guy came up to me and said he just laid his bike down and stood up, got over here. Um, and then by the time the guy on the bike was walking back over here, we could tell he was hammered. So um, called it in and then he pretty much ate it over his bike and then looked at us and was like, "Yeah, I'm absolutely hammered." So >> he said that? >> Yeah, >> he did. Yeah, multiple times. >> He said, "I'm hammered." >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Okay. >> The suspect was taken to the station for further investigation, and he did quite a good job making the situation worse. >> Tim. All right. So, what I'm going to have you do is just take a long deep breath. Okay? And then blow out. Really long, strong, steady blow like you're blowing up a balloon. Like this. I'm just going to keep going like that until I tell you to stop. Okay. All right. All right. Take a deep breath. Use your diaphragm. Suck in the blow. Push. Push harder. Harder. Push. Keep pushing. But I'm saying if you refuse to provide this red sample, your license is automatically suspended for a year. All right. If you blow and it's over 008, it's only 6 months. Okay. That's the difference. Here, help me out. >> I'm trying to, but you got to help yourself. Okay, >> you have to help me help. >> Take a deep breath. >> I just really wish you had someone. Deep breath. >> All right, dude. Push. I don't like you, dude. You sit down. Does it feel like that way, man? Does it feel like I'm trying to cause you problems? >> It's like you're being a little uncooperative. >> Oh, okay. All right. The suspect showed traits of instability, flipping at the slightest provocation, and none of it helped his already tough situation. >> Warren, meet me up, Warren. My place. >> So, what are you doing, Warren? >> What you writing down there, Warren? >> That you refuse to provide a breath sample. >> I thought I did that. >> I told you. >> I thought I did that. Have you been drinking? >> No. Where were we hanging out? >> Not time. >> So, you weren't drinking at all? >> No. No. >> So, it would be pointless to ask me when you started and stopped drinking. >> That would that would be very pointless. >> Were you operating a vehicle/ motorcycle immediately prior to police contact? >> No. >> Do you believe your consumption of alcoholic beverages today has impaired your driving in any manner? >> No. We're going to go to the hospital and get a clearance to the jail cuz you're involved in a one vehicle accident. Okay. Shouldn't take too long hopefully. Real quick. I don't know. >> You seem really not that uh that insured that we should go to like you know a hospital. >> Yeah. Well, you have to when you're involved in an accident. >> No, we will though. >> Yeah, we will. >> No, it is cool. Yeah. The nurse is going to ask you some questions and whatnot. >> Okay. >> That's it. >> They're going to make sure that you're okay and then we'll go to the jail. >> And then you come out of those cuts. Oh, >> if you thought that was wild, then you should meet this utterly unreasonable man who ignored the initial warnings of an officer and went ahead to ride his motorcycle without caution and landed in serious trouble. >> Yeah, it was pretty stupid. Well, I think I had you what, 144 there at one point? >> Yeah, that's pretty stupid. Fine amount is $515.50. There's six points to your driver's license if you were found guilty of this. Okay. On June the 26th, 2022, a Lacrosse County Sheriff's deputy was on patrol when he noticed an incoming group of motorcycles in West Salem, Wisconsin. He noticed that one motorcyclist was way ahead of others and was driving at a high speed. The deputy switched on his radar and got a target speed of 144 mph at a 55 mph zone. The officer went in for a chase, and by the time he caught up with the suspect, he had already stopped and embraced what was to come. The officer went ahead to meet with the suspect and began to question him. The suspect may have believed that he would escape punishment because he was compliant, but obedience doesn't always guarantee that things will go in our favor. >> RNL carriers with uh Wisconsin motorcycle 492 rubber boy. 492 rubber boy. >> Are you the group? What's that? >> Yeah, that was stupid. >> Yeah, it was pretty stupid. Well, I think I had you what? 144 there at one point. Yeah, that's pretty stupid. >> Yeah. >> I see your driver's license and your proof of insurance. Yes, sir. >> You weren't the group. I talked to a quick trip, were you? >> Yeah. >> Didn't I just tell you? >> Yeah. >> Not to be an idiot pretty much. >> Yeah. >> You got insurance? >> Um, yeah. I think it's [ __ ] >> I appreciate you stopping. >> Yeah, that was just >> But that was dumb, man. >> I know. >> What do you think's going to happen if you crash at 144 mph? I mean, I >> I can't even give you a break, man. >> I just seen you. >> That's ridiculous, man. That's >> What's that? It's almost three times his speed limit.
