He goes to get in his car. I love that this officer immediately addresses this guy and is like, "Absolutely not. Get out of your car." Because you have someone drunk, the last thing you want and the car is pointed directly at you. The last thing you want is him to get in that car, turn it on, drop it into drive and then being a drunk behind the wheel of a car pointed at you. Like that that doesn't go anywhere good. So, I really like that this officer aggressively addresses him and is There is no ifs, ands, or buts. That guy's not getting back in that car. I love it. I'm going to tell you suck a I'm here. This is legal. The car's not running. I can You're not going back in your car. I can open the I can open >> You didn't touch it and open it again. I'm going to place you under arrest. If I touch this car >> Cuz you have the intent to operate your motor vehicle. I'm not going anywhere. The car's not started. I can open this car. No, no, no. No, you can't. So, you're going to place me under arrest if I open this car? Yes. So, I have no You're going to be placed under arrest. All right. So, I'm on private property. Yep. That you're not authorized to be on. Okay, so we'll deal with you in a little bit, okay? Appreciate it. You didn't say I could pull the car here. No. All right. All right. So, the car needs to be moved. You're a You're a All right. That's funny. You just talked to me. We had a good All right. I'm from New York. New Jersey is like New York's [clears throat] little brother. Um They're They might not be as crazy down there, but they're fighting for a strong second place. This guy's accent and just the way that he talks, that's just people from New Jersey. You can't You can't hold it against them. Now, he probably talks like this sober, too. He's just a I I You just get that vibe that used car salesman vibe. So, I don't know. I wouldn't trust this guy with anything. Put your hands behind your back. What your hands behind your Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. I'll take that. Take a little don't touch me. I don't know. Why am I putting my hands behind my back? Woah, woah, woah! Why are you doing that? Put your hands behind your back. Why are you doing that? Put your hands behind your back. Why am I putting my hands behind my back? You got your camera on? I do. Hey, dude. Listen. I'm going to have to put you on the ground. Are you a sergeant? Are you a sergeant? Put your hand behind your back. Are you a sergeant? Put your hand behind your back. The police officer Turn around. Put your hand behind your back. I'm going to say you're a sergeant. I'm going to say supervisor request on that. your back. God, give me a reason Okay. Behind your back. Why am I putting my hands behind You just told me you're drunk and I was astonished. Yeah, but all I'm saying I'm not causing any We We We told you plenty times. We just asked you to do some stuff and you just didn't want to do it. That needed to happen. We're sitting in a parking spot. Yep. It's not a parking spot. You're in someone's driveway. I'm trying to ram you that way. Why are you ramming me? I'm not ramming you. Why are you ramming me? No, I'm not. Yeah, you want to give it a little I'm not ramming you, bro. I'm not. Don't act like a I'm not. You're in handcuffs. I'm not ramming. So, you look at this guy in this suit that looks like he just jumped on a wrinkle grenade. Um this guy looks like he's at a used car dealership trying to sell me a 1990 Honda Civic that's low on miles and it's going to run forever. That's this guy. He's probably got a weak handshake and he's probably going to tell you about how much his watch is worth. That's That's this kind of guy. I'm just going like this. Please turn a I'm going to let you search me. I'm telling you no. Man to man, talk to me. Can you talk to me? Patrusa? Patrusa. I'm not ramming. I I'll talk to you. Okay, I'll talk I love this so much. No, for what? Why are you running my pockets for? Cuz you're under arrest and searching I'm under arrest? Yeah, you are. Why am I under arrest? Yeah. Stop moving. I'm standing still. >> No, you are adding more charges. Face this way. I'm standing still. Wow. You guys came when I was sitting on the porch. So, what's your You were never on the porch. Ever. Yeah, what's wrong with you guys? Why are you guys grabbing this What are you getting out of my pockets? I don't want to be disrespectful to you guys. You got And that That round is down range there, partner. What are you telling me? So, apparently she was in front of my house giving a dick. No, that's not my girlfriend. Hey, man. Are you interested Are you interested in exceeding the same the same option? Exceeding the same option? Hey, dirty skank. I'm sorry. Well, obviously you're the neighbor there. We're going to get you down here with Someone's acting stupid. Disorderly conduct. I was sitting on private property and How about DUI? You DUI? No? So, our suspect thinks that because he's parked in this guy's driveway that no laws apply to him because he's on private property. There are lots of laws that apply on private property. Um DUI is one of them, which is obviously the way that I go cuz I'm a traffic cop, but there's all sorts of other stuff like the fact that they had to be called. The police were called because this guy's presence caused a disturbance. That's the definition of disorderly conduct. So, from the second they get there, they can put their hands on this guy, place them under arrest, book them into jail just for that without knowing anything else that happened. This is just going to get better. Wait, wait, wait. So, I'm under arrest? >> Under arrest right now. So, I was just sitting on that person's front porch. Step in the car. You're under arrest for disorderly conduct. Yeah. This one? The provisional and perjury. So, step in the car. We want to bring you to headquarters. We're going to get processed. Casey, this is a crackhead. She's not with me. I said a crackhead. Casey, come here. You guys are probably arresting You're not You're not listening. Go away. Get my phone. Don't listen to this You're You're not in charge of like rights. Listen And in you go. You got this on video, Casey? You guys are running. That's kind of gay. Seriously. You're not running, man. Take that belt off. I'll bust your ass up. How about that? I was walking my daughter from the bus stop. What house do you live in? I live in this house. The car was parked here. Yeah. In the middle of the street? >> parked right here in between the In the middle of the street? >> and goes in his boxers and said to me, "Hey, honey, I was just passing so I called my husband cuz I'm walking alone to go get my 6-year-old daughter and I was afraid what I was going to come back to. Yep. And then that's when she pulled in and the car was blocking her driveway. But he definitely had no pants on. >> he was doing the Yeah, but there's a lot of So, you live here? Yeah, she lives here. Who just You just gave me this idea. That was me. Okay. I'm sorry. I was abrupt before. Just for the report, you do not know him, you did not You did not commit him to or ask him to park in your driveway. Okay. Yes, sir. He went in reverse. All the way to the other side of the curve. Hit the curve. Put it in forward. Went around the cul-de-sac until he turned and went headfirst, headlights facing this way. Yep. All right. Stayed there. She ran out of the car. Ran into the house. Didn't see her again. And then that's where he stayed. And the longer he waited, I'm like, "Something's going on with this guy." So, I went and got my shoes on. At that time, my wife started pulling up. He was blocking the driveway so she couldn't get in the driveway. Yep. And she approached the vehicle and was like, "Are you okay? You okay?" And then I start coming out this house and she goes, "He's He's up. He's messed up." And then he proceeded to back up. He hit the mailbox. Didn't do any damage that I could tell it looked like, but he hit the mailbox. Goes forward and starts backing up my driveway. Thought he was going to go through my garage. I screamed at him. And then he got a little irritated. He got out the car. I calmed him down. And then I just distracted him until you guys got here. Okay. Um does your ring camera capture any of this? It just hurt. Why do you not do this guy for DUI? My ring camera would capture him doing this stuff in the cuz I'm the middle house. So, I just took the ring I It just died. I said it before that laws vary from state to state. In Arizona, I interview that lady and she says, "Hey, I saw him behind the wheel and then he drove and he parked in my driveway." That's all I need for a DUI case. I get that on body worn camera video, on an audio recording. I do an interview. She writes me a witness statement, signs her name at the bottom. That's all I need. I don't I'm not worried about ring camera from, you know, three houses down and two over that shows his car. When I have a lady that walked up to his window, identified him as the driver, and is now giving me a statement because she called the police on him because he was so impaired. I I Maybe things are different in New Jersey and and they need that ring camera footage, but I'm taking that lady's word for it 10 out of 10 times based on the totality of the circumstances. That goes to court. Absolutely. That lady's going to come and testify. She's going to give great testimony and that dude's going to jail. And yet you are. Are you going to be cooperative when we get back? Are you going to be cooperative when we get back? All right. So, what we're going to have I would say no. Yeah, I would say no. I would say no also. All right. You ready? Look how drunk he is. I don't think they're They're driving me down. No, I'm not. I quit today. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I quit. No, you're all good. We're going to put you in a holding cell for a little bit and then I'll come back and finish the paperwork. Let me let me take that one. I'm going to put it with the rest of your stuff. >> What if I just left it on me? You wouldn't have taken it. I would have. Yeah, when we got in here. I'm going to hold on to it. Like what if you guys I can't hold on. No. >> Even if I was wearing it. I would have asked you to remove it. All right. Can I grab your belt? your belt, too. Mhm. Right out of the sink. What am I waiting on the new form? >> So, we're going to go do some paperwork. I'll come get you and we'll do fingerprints and pictures. What are the charges? Yeah, so it looks like it's going to be two disorderly conduct, obstruction, resisting arrest, and um resisting arrest. >> Yeah. DUI? You did DUI there? Max, we're getting out of here. Hey, Max. You awake? All right. Let's pick it up. Max. Max, it's time to go. There we go. Wakey, wakey. So, if you were sober and you got booked into jail and you're not used to being part of the criminal justice system, the last thing you're going to do is take a little nappy poo. Right? You're going to be thinking about all the repercussions and about, you know, you got to tell your husband or your wife or, you know, what are you going to do about work and what's going to happen to your car? Like all these things that are going through your mind. The last thing that a normal person would do is lay down and take a nap. So, I think it just shows the level of impairment and intoxication with this guy that he's like, "Oh, concrete slab? Looks like a perfect place to take a nap." And out he goes. So, what do we need to do to get out of here? We're actually headed up to county jail. All right? Why is Why is that? Yeah. I'm not too sure. I wasn't there, but I'll be one driving you up. They're driving me up. I'm driving you up. Even though I guess it's straight up with Not that you need to hear what I just said. Does that sound like the same thing we're both dealing with? He talked to the dispatcher. She said he was in a situate, man. I'm driving Who was driving you? Yeah. Yeah, man. They're really sad. Good. So, we're on a crazy rush right. Dolan? Yeah, I believe You know Pete Dolan? Oh, Pete. Yeah. I did meet you once before at the stop. I think your girl was driving. You guys are one. Wasn't my girl probably if you Last name Balgo? Wasn't Casey his or sister? Cousin. Cousin? Is she your girl or not? It's a girl of mine. I I have a 3-year-old and it mentioned things so it's like making a statement. Sure. Sure she's going to submit you for dad of the year. The suspect refused to provide a breath test upon being transferred to the station. He was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing justice, and DUI. >> Yes. Yes, I needed the DUI. All right. No bingo on that one. So, we got supervisor request. He said something about a sergeant. And then uh you know, don't touch me when the cops went hands-on. That's all we got. So, if you're looking for cards like this, plus four more, you can find them right here at our store. So, it's fridayswithfrank.com. You go there. This is going to be right up at the top. Look for body cam bingo cards. You order them. I'll send them to you. We'll see you soon.
