Now go to the emergency room and get a clearance that you're okay to fly. >> Stop resisting. >> Get out of mic. >> We are getting the ball. >> Touch your mic. >> Orlando 2025. >> All right, everyone. I'm Frank Slope. I'm a 25-y year veteran of a sheriff's office here in Arizona. Today, we're going to be doing some body cam breakdown. We found this video on Police Watch. Great channel. We've used them before. We definitely like their stuff. While we're doing it, Body Cam Bingo is the game we're going to play. This is card number five. They come in a set of one through five. You can order them on our website and I'll send them to you. But today, we're going to see how Police Watch and card number five match up with each other. >> Watch how a denied boarding dispute between [music] a couple at Orlando International Airport quickly turns into an arrest. >> Good evening. What's going on tonight? How can I help? >> Look at all those yellow banners. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And I want proof of why she can't fly. >> Hold on a second. >> I'm getting >> If they're a private business, if they say you can't fly for any reason, then you can't fly. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, I have lower abdominal discomfort. >> Understand? >> And >> but they they're they're private. Do you understand? It's not a public service. This is a private group. What's happening? >> I'm sorry. I'm I'm hard to hear. >> My husband can't hear. He's >> If they don't want you to fly, you can't fly. >> Okay. But But let let me check out. Let me check out here. >> Is it just today or is it >> It's just today. due to the fact that when they came up >> she has pain and all that stuff. I called that hospital again. >> Okay, >> perfect. Not like we've done this before, right? >> No, this is [ __ ] >> No. Stop. >> All right. All right. You want to explain to me what's going >> to explain to me >> looking like she's Is there alcohol there? >> To her to fly for what reason? >> Um because I have lower abdominal discomfort, >> right? >> There's no medical, there's no doctor, there's no nothing. And they're saying she can't fly. I have to go to work tomorrow. >> Did you understand what they're telling you? >> Stop. >> All right. One of the very first things that I noticed here is these officers that are assigned to the airport are carrying rifles. Rifle is my weapon of choice. I love it. It's brings the most accurate and the most capacity of a firearm to a gunfight. I love it. If I could get out every day and just carry a rifle around, I would. The guy that said that and made it happen was Sheriff Wayne Ivy. He had all of his school resource officers in their schools carrying rifles so that if a someone came there to do harm that the deputies that worked for him didn't have to run and get their rifles from wherever they were secured. They had them on their bodies at all time and they could immediately respond to a threat. So I love that the officers of Orlando Police Department that are there in the airport have that same philosophy. I think it's a great idea. >> You don't need to baby. Baby, please. So, they're saying since you have discomfort and don't feel well that you need to see a doctor or go to the emergency room and get a clearance that you're okay to fly. They're willing to rebook you. Hold on, let me finish. I'm almost done. >> They're willing to rebook you tomorrow >> if you feel better. Okay. >> That's unacceptable. >> Yes, it is. >> Don't fight with me. Don't fight with me. I'm telling you how it's going to be and that's it. >> I'll do what I have to do. As everything keeps getting more expensive, people are trying to find new ways to save money. Here's a start. My father is Chicago police. >> No one cares. >> 69. >> Stop. I want you to over there. My father is Chicago police. I have no more than respect for you. >> That's great. But we're trying to deal with this right now. >> Yes. And I >> wonder if there's alcohol on board. >> Telling you that I respect you, okay? and that my husband is >> I all that is great, fine, and dandy, but you have to get a medical clearance if you want to fly tonight. >> Tomorrow, they're willing to rebook you. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, >> okay. Uh uh I accept. >> Well, you have to. >> But if you're not feeling well, you can't fly. >> Do you do you get that? >> Okay. >> Okay. So, you're going to have to make other arrangements tonight to go somewhere. >> Okay. or >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. Yes. >> If we come back, you're going to be trespassed. >> If we come back a third time, somebody's going to jail. >> I don't want him in the >> I don't either. I don't want anybody to go to jail. >> All right. Well, when this officer says, "I don't want anyone to go to jail." I'm telling you, he's telling the truth. He does. I guarantee that this squad of officers that's there working the airport, they have something better to do than deal with this what I would imagine is a drunken couple and deal with their tom foolery and then book someone into jail. They definitely don't want they have better things to do. So, I think that's an absolute truthful statement from that officer. It all depends on if this guy's going to listen or not. [laughter] >> So, There's like two, four, six, seven officers there. >> No, we we don't have a place here. >> There's some hotels. >> There's one here in the airport. >> Okay. Okay. We'll get one tonight. >> Okay. So, what's going on? Did they cancel the flight or what's going on? >> Got a bike. >> Let her fly. >> They won't let her fly or both of you. >> Yes, her. >> She's got a tummy ache. >> Said she's got a tummy ache. >> Okay. Is she sick? What happened? >> Throwing up, >> headache, diarrhea. I don't want >> Okay. >> Yeah. I don't want a lady with diarrhea on a plane. >> Are you feeling good? >> Huh? >> Are you feeling good? Are you >> okay? Great. Okay. [laughter] >> All right. I want to go home. >> We're going to go together and go and >> Excuse me. Before you leave the hotel. >> This is an embarrassment. Shut up. I look You're stopping. You're stopping and leave these men alone. >> You got We got medical prepared. We got medically cleared. She can go. >> This guy the dreadlocks. That guy said no. >> Well, they're coming back now. >> They're going to check her out. I got to step out. >> Why? Why is >> leave the office? not able to fly and they have to >> look. Leave the officer. >> I want an explanation. We wouldn't know. That's That's between me and you and the airlines. >> Why? >> Stop. I want you to leave the officers alone because they deserve those respect. Let's talk. >> Oh, I like her. >> Okay. >> Then she's got a tummy ache. >> What about my luggage? >> It'll No. Shut up. >> No, they'll get the bags for you. >> Yeah, they will. >> You're not listening or understanding. >> I'm not listening. You are Is that No, you're not. >> You are going to stop. You are going to stop. You are going to stop. >> All right. >> So, I would go downstairs to the second floor. >> I want waiting for your luggage. >> All right. Thank you upstairs. >> Thank you. >> All right. Thank you, >> Steve. Now, >> he's going he's going to get it. I want to go home. >> This is the perfect time that this video should end. And yet, when you look at how much more time there is on the counter, you realize that it's going to be impossible for this couple to not break the law somehow. So, I this wouldn't even be a video if this couple just left. If husband and wife said, "All right, she's got an upset tummy. He probably needs to sleep off all the alcohol he's consumed." They just went to a hotel, went to sleep, woke up in the morning, went to the airport, left, they'd be totally fine. But instead, there's time left. >> Like a like a baby. Please, no. Please don't arrest him. I'm saying yes, sir. >> No. No. Can I talk to you for a second? >> I'll talk to you. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Look, let's talk over here. >> I didn't do anything wrong. I'm an American. >> You know what? I have a I don't do anything. >> Here, stand back for me just a second. I'm not going to arrest you. Okay. >> I just wanted to talk to you for a second. >> I just want to go home. >> So, who is she to you? >> She's my wife. >> That's your wife? >> Yes. >> I just want to kind of plan and go home. Yeah, man. But we explained to you several times, but you have to listen to the other officer first before you can even come to that decision. They don't want your wife flying >> for whatever reason, whatever medical reason she has, right? >> I mean, >> that that is the explanation. They can refuse >> they can refuse go with them over there. >> It's a police officer. >> That is the reason. >> She was clear. >> There's no piece of paper. >> The paramedics came. The paramedics came and they cleared her. >> The paramedics came. >> You have her license. >> The paramedics came and clear her. They said she's okay to travel. >> That's not >> okay. That doesn't matter anymore. >> Yeah. We're not talking about >> We are past that. Thank you. >> Two Americans being harassed. >> Not being harassed. >> Yes, we are. >> No, you're not. >> Yes, I am. I can't aboard a plane. >> Yes, I am. >> That's not harassment. >> Yes, it is. >> Why can't I board a plane? >> They just need Stay right there. >> That's her passport. >> We're keeping you guys separated right now. You guys will get the passport back. >> I need you right here >> and stay right there. >> I want to call my lawyer right now. >> Call your lawyer. >> Call my lawyer. >> I have no lawyer on here >> right now. She's being retained. >> You are not being detained. >> She is. >> She is. >> I want to call her attorney right now. coming over here. So, step back. >> Call her attorney right now. >> Step back. >> I want legal counsel right now. >> As an American citizen, she wants counsel right now. >> You got to understand now. You can't calm him. >> Well, we we gave you that option, but then you struck him in the face in front of us. So, >> you can't just slap him in front of us. We thought you guys were just going to walk away, go get a hotel, and be good for the night. But now you guys are creating a disturbance in the airport. >> That makes sense. >> Back. Stop. >> I cannot speak to my wife. >> No. >> Why not? >> Why not? >> Cuz you're the victim of an assault. >> Back. >> You don't owe me. It's a free country. >> You'll see that in a second. >> To relax. >> I don't want my wife. She wants legal counsel. >> You're about to be put in cuffs. So for what? >> Back up. >> For what? >> For interfering. So >> interfering with what? >> Back up. >> You know what? I have it. For what? >> Interfering with >> no. >> What is she under arrest for? What did she have done wrong? >> You need to calm down or you're going to go in cuffs. Relax. I'm half your age. >> Are you Are you on my side? >> Start acting your age. >> I am. And this is my wife and you are retained by a bunch of security officers and a bench. >> We're not my wife. We're the police >> in the American states of You're telling me to calm down? >> What did I just tell you 2 minutes ago? No. Walk over here. Stay over here. >> My wife. >> Listen, man. Relax. Okay. Relax. >> Who the are you? >> That's it, >> dude. Relax. Put down my >> Let go of my wife. >> You're going to be putting on the ground. So, relax. >> Relax for what? >> Relax. What you worry about? >> Let my wife go. >> What is this? Relax. Stop. >> All right. You're going in cuffs, bro. Take your backpack off. >> What did I do? >> Get your hands behind your back. No. Get your hands behind your arm. >> Down he goes. >> Stop resisting. >> Get this hand behind your back. >> We got this one. Get your other hand. >> Give us your right arm. So, stop. You're on top of it. >> Roll them a little bit. >> You're on top of me. Put your knee on, >> bro. >> Remember, push up being just THE ELBOW UP. >> I'M NOT. >> PUSH THE ELBOW UP. >> Give us your other hand, sir. Don't make it difficult. Loosen up. >> Loosen up. Give us your other arm. >> Really? >> I am. >> Then give it What are >> you doing there? Are >> you serious? >> Yep. >> What the wrong with you? >> What the is wrong with you? What the >> [laughter] >> How is my wife? >> She's fine. >> She's probably not in cuffs like you are. >> Well, you got my backpack. >> They weren't going to let the flight. >> I know, but doesn't he have one? >> They won't let me on the flight. THEY WON'T LET MY WIFE ON the flight. >> DO YOU? >> WHAT the >> Do you have a boarding pack? >> Yes, I do. >> Where is it? >> It's in my pocket. Unless these took it. Why you yelling at me? >> Why? Really? >> I'm inceding BEHIND MY BACK. GET OUT OF MY >> We are getting the >> He's part of my home. >> Yes, he is. You queer. >> All right. Where's your boarding pass? >> Really? You going to take my cash to? >> No. No. Bing pass? >> Really? You going to take two? >> Where is your board pass? this guy is making these comments about, you know, the this police officer counting his money, uh, the cash that he has out in front of him and making, you know, some sort of of comment or I wouldn't say it's an allegation, but a comment about the fact that he could steal his money or or something to that effect. Let me tell you from having right at 25 years in this job, there are things that cops will steal. Um, I'll they'll steal an energy drink out of my refrigerator. Absolutely. They'll steal a pen. Absolutely. Um, maybe a set of handcuffs that are issued by the department. So, it's really just a reallocation. Absolutely. What cops don't do is steal people's money. Um, we just don't. It's just there's no reason for it. We all typically get paid well. We all typically have a level of ethics that we bring to the job. Um, we're all governed by a moral compass that's functioning. We're not going to steal your money. Um, but if you leave an energy drink in the in the general refrigerator, it's gone the next day. Someone's drinking that thing. So, yeah, we're not perfect. >> Why'd you let me off my handcuffs and I'll be happy to tell you? >> Hello. >> Hello. >> You know what? I'm going to go with complaints about cuffs on that. You're under arrest. >> Why am I being handled? >> A name and badge number would give me a big go here. Hello. >> We're going to ask the officer when he get back. But if you yell for what? >> I'm not going to >> Why am I being handcuffed? Really? You wouldn't yell if you were being handcuffed? I don't >> floor of an airport. >> You get these off. >> I don't think that's the way it works. >> Stand up. It all started from the drinks that you've been having. That's what >> There we go. >> Be honest. >> Let me in. >> Cancer has nothing to do with this. >> It all started from the drinks that you've been having. >> I can smell it from here. >> Yeah. >> So that's why you acting where you That's why he's acting. >> There's the answer. >> That's why you couldn't go. >> Can you see the the bottle? >> No. >> No. >> It's right there. >> What about it? It's an open bottle. >> Yeah. >> What about it? >> Can't walk around. >> My personal problem. >> Can't walk around with an open bottle like that. That's part of the reason why we're here dealing with this. >> That's glass. >> How can you figure out where you're going to go? Are you going to hotels? >> How am I supposed to figure out where I'm going to go when my husband is about to be arrested? >> That's something that he created. You didn't create that. He created You can take taxi on the first floor and you can take a Uber. >> Okay. How will I find him tomorrow? >> We need an address to where he will be at. >> Orlando be the Orange County Sheriff's Office, I think, is where Orlando is. >> Do you have a cell phone? >> Of course. Yes, sir. >> You can always call you if you get to where you're at. >> Where's my warning? >> That's level right here. >> My wife is sick. >> My warning. My wife ising sick and you're arresting me. >> And you're both drunk. That's the problem. >> No boarding pass on this side. >> He's going to need one. They checked last time we went in there for a boarding pass. >> What am I being arrested for? What am I being ordering? Get in. >> Being really disorderly in the airport. >> It's cuz your hands are all I didn't do anything wrong. >> I confront my wife. >> All right. Come here. Let's have a seat. >> Oh, no. Don't push it yet. Alex, we're going to pay the money and find your money. Why do you have drugs? >> Because it's your wallet. >> Why do you have my wallet? >> Why do you have my wallet? >> Why? >> Make sure you don't have drugs in there. >> Secret >> for what? >> Just pay attention to your money. Okay. >> That way there's no >> I got it. >> All right. I'm just making sure I count all your money in front of you. Okay. >> It doesn't matter what money I hit. >> You know where you are in 140 150 160 200 $21. Okay. Okay. >> He was later charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting an officer, [music] trespass after warning. He was later transported to the Orange County Jail. >> Yeah. >> Car number five almost made it. So, all we needed was a don't touch me on the corner and I would have had it. >> So, better luck next time. If anyone got a bingo on cards one through four, throw it in the comments. I'd be curious to see which one made it. So, something coming up. We've got a live chat. It's for members only. It's going to be Sunday, June 7th. It's at 3 o'clock PM Arizona time.
